Added camera on the front door and also the garage door gave me more security for my house. The technician gave me more information to protect my property. He is very knowledgeable and explained how the system works. I would like to recommend this service to my friends and family.

The technician made it easy and simple to setup the app and cameras for my home. He had Open communication and great advice from the expert perspective who demonstrated areas that would be covered and those that wouldn’t. He was patient and kind as we completed the walkthrough of inside and outside of our home. Definitely pleased with the service and highly recommend to anyone looking to secure their home.

My experience was superb. And I feel really safe now. I just moved here to the area. My technician John was very knowledgeable. He knew the product very well and took time to make sure I was comfortable with it as well. I will definitely recommend the company to all of my family and friends.

Multiple problems getting installer to show up and let me know he was here. Second day of taking off work. I meet with installer who explains the package which was not at all what I signed up for but somehow the same price. Had to show my confirmation receipt to be taken seriously and then it was a big issue of getting it agreed to be done. Of course to get what I originally agreed to cost more than the original price. Installer "finishes" all work and informs me he had only brought what he was told (not what I wanted) and someone else would have to come out and finish the work. There is no schedule for when this is supposed to happen at this point.

Mark ** was great! He explained the system very well and was extremely professional. He even played with my dogs lol. I got the full automated smart home system and have been pleased with the install. I am excited to use my new smart home system and refer to family and friends. Thanks Mark!

I called to get some information on getting a home alarm system and met Damien. He got me set up with an appointment right away and Jorge came out to install the system. Both were very professional and attentive to my needs! I will definitely be recommending them in the future.

I received my new system yesterday and Greg was great. He explained everything and took the time to answer all my questions. He also helped me with navigating the mobile app and how to set it up. He was patient with me while I was finding the best place for the screen and camera. I truly appreciate his assistance.

First customer service experience to get a quote was a little bit bumpy as I was not ready to sign up, but they were pushing to set up a date Installation. The second time I called, the customer service was better and gave me a great deal. Installation process was easy and efficient. The tech explained the equipment And was friendly.

Decided to get a ring doorbell and cameras, only, at 7 pm. No pressure to do anything more, which I appreciate. Installer came right out and was done in 2 hours. Showed us how everything works and was very polite and professional. Would definitely recommend them. I like the fact that if I want to add more, later, I can.

Don't waste your money, the service is horrible. I'm calling the company at least once a month as the system shuts down. My front door will unlock on its own and then relock. I can never view my cameras when I'm home. I always get either a black screen for the spinning wheel. So anytime someone is at my door I cannot see or talk to them. I always call the company to address my issues especially about not being able to see my cameras when I'm home and they can never help me. This service is supposed to be for me to feel safe and secure which I don't, I think I feel more unsafe knowing my front door can unlock at any time especially if I'm not home.

Everyone that I spoke to at Vivint was super friendly and nice. They really made me feel like I was a valued customer. My installation technician Daniel was amazing. He was thorough. Detailed. Made sure I knew what I was getting into and really made the process pretty easy and comfortable.

Tim was professional and friendly and provided information about the product and installation process. He also ensured I knew how to use all of the features of my new system and made himself available to assist in the future with any issues that may arise. I appreciate his willingness to get the job completed quickly but correctly even at the end of his already long day!

The technician Evan was great! Very thorough and knowledgeable as well as informative! I recommend the technician over the salesman for Vivint! The technician showed me how to operate the system step by step. Very patient with me learning how to operate it. I recommend Vivint for your security needs. Hopefully you’ll get a great deal like I did.

From the initial encounter with Vivint, I was impressed by their timeliness and efficiency. The team has been supportive and responsive which helps with a big move. The technician was very helpful with the installation but also with the billing issues! I was going to cancel everything but his professionalism made me change my mind. He explained everything thoroughly and was able to get a hold of someone who made sense of the previous issue. I will recommend the company just based on his professional attitude.

Michael ** was a great technician, very efficient and quick, explained the system to me and answered any questions that I had. I appreciate the service that he gave me. I would recommend Vivint. If they have techs like Michael. He installed cameras, door sensors window break. Also have a water detection monitor that it takes if water is above a certain level. Overall system is very great.

From the start, I knew Vivint was a trustworthy company. They honored their word when it came to the terms & conditions of our contract agreement. Their tech, Jason K., was assigned to the job to install the equipment at my residence. Every time I had a question about the devices, his answers were very knowledgeable & informative, as well as kind & courteous. So far, I’m loving my new door bell & smart thermostat device! I’m hoping in the near future I’ll be adding more devices. For now, I’m just glad my family is a lot safer!

Addressed all concerns and the Installation and service was not rushed. The equipment used was above par and didn’t look cheap. The inservice following installation was very good and any questions I had were addressed. The lifetime warranty and local support that’s available with Vivint was greatly appreciated. Definitely recommend their company if you are in need of a security system.

I called and activated it and asked for the Vivint yard signs. They said I’ve been a member since 2017 after I told her I just moved into this house so I told the customer service again I just moved in & activated it. I need signs we lost connection because of where she was. Other than that great security.

The Vivint tech (Keron E.) that came to my home was amazing and extremely thorough. He took his time with installing ensuring everything was done correctly and answered all my questions along the way. There was even an issue with my thermostat, not related to him and he took the time to find the problem and provide me with a solution. Service like this isn't always provided and I am really appreciative of my tech's professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Stanton was awesome! He was very knowledgeable when it came to anything that was asked. He also explained absolutely everything as far as the control panel, how to edit settings, and the entire system as a whole. I definitely do not regret my decision to go with Vivint and will for sure be recommending this company to others in the future.

The installation technician (Hunter) was excellent! He explained everything, was thorough, efficient, and very knowledgeable. Provided sound advice and feedback. He communicated very well about the system. He even went an extra mile and contacted customer service to make sure I was getting the best deal possible. He knew the product really well and was able to explain it to me and easy to understand language.

The ladies who installed my equipment were absolutely amazing, walked me through every step, helped me set it up on my phone. Thank you very much ladies. It is much appreciated. Summer even help me with my automatic payment which took a while because for some reason it was giving us a hard time in the beginning but she was so patient.

Steven was a great person to work with. He was very patient with helping me to select areas around the house to secure. He was equally patient in helping me to operate the system. After installation, he was careful to make sure that he left everything intact and as it was prior to the installation. I would highly recommend Vivint and especially Steven.

Jason was fantastic. I live in a house built in 1943, which comes with its own challenges for installing a security system. He handled every challenge the house had and installed everything beautifully. He was incredibly patient with me as I worked through how and where I wanted the sensors, units, plugs, etc. I highly recommend Jason!

The gentleman I believe Josh (not sure), was amazing and patient. He literally over an hour on his day off to come and get my system done. He was extremely understanding and able to laugh with roomie and myself on our struggles to put in our internet password.

The system is great. It is very simple to use even for someone who is not a tech person like me. I like how you can monitor, and be alerted remotely on your cell phone phone of any activity. Blake, who installed my system, was very kind, informative and professional. I definitely recommend this system to everyone. The cost is reasonable as well.

My installation professional was great. It said install takes 3-4 hours but she was done with everything including educating me on how everything works in about 1.5 hours. My internet didn’t have the appropriate speed for my cameras and she been told me what to do about that with my WiFi provider and now I’m all set. She was friendly, but professional with a great personality. She let me ask as many questions as needed and she didn’t leave until I was comfortable. I have her work phone number and she told me I could call her at any time with any questions so I wouldn’t have to wait on hold calling the toll free number. Now, that’s great customer service. I now feel safe with my new system and I couldn’t have asked for a better service professional to come out to my house. If I ever move, this equipment is going with me and I want Shannon back to install it!!

I was a Vivint customer for over 7 years. Sadly I must say how horrible this company treated us. My husband is veteran with some health issues. I myself have heart issues and problems with walking and other body functions. With this being said, every time over the last 7 years I asked them to come fix the issues and get our cameras working they declined. I’d ask for a tech they would tell me I’d have to hoop jump, I told them countless times I’ve rebooted the system (over the 7years doing this monthly, I don’t need to be told how to do it) they would tell me I must do this over the phone with me. I’d say can you just send a tech, it’s the panel. It’s been the panel every single time! (I’ve worked for security companies I know how this goes and what absolutely has to be done) Vivint would not send out techs!

The salesman was patient and courteous. There was a little misunderstanding when I elected to verify the validity of the business before surrendering my SSN, but after explaining how often I receive training in the protection of PPI, he completely understood. He even admitted that he had learned something from the experience.

The technician who installed my system was great. He worked around my work schedule and waited for me to get home from work to show me how to use my system. He also installed a thermostat which I had requested at the time or install. So I would give the installer and the system 10 out 10

On 08/22/2024 a Vivint sale’s person came to my house. He told me Vivint would give me a gift card to pay off the security contract I had. So I agreed to get Vivint. I still haven’t gotten the gift card. I am now paying 2 security contracts. Please don’t trust Vivint.

Nathan ** was probably one of the best installation technicians I’ve ever had. Not only was he quick and efficient but he was also very knowledgeable in your product and how to use it. So far I’m impressed with your product and how it functions. I’m looking forward to adding cameras and other features later!

For about 2 years your company pursued my business. Salesman said my current sensors are good. Installer ignored 1 sensor even though I pointed it out several times. Now none are responsive and neither is the salesman to my texts on what to do.

The Technician knew what he was doing. He was very polite, friendly and did a good job. It is just a matter of getting used to the system. The system equipment and the monthly monitoring plan are twice as much as my previous provider but this company has good reviews.

I was very pleased with the setup experience. I reached out on Friday afternoon and my system was setup by Tuesday morning. The unit seems user friendly and easy to navigate so far. The sales and tech guys were exceptional and answered all questions. The cost was reasonable and equipment is nice. They really worked to customize options for what I needed.

I am very pleased with my new install I received. The representative was very kind and informative. He was patient and did not try to upsell products I do not need. I recommend Vivint services. The products and app are quality and user-friendly. If you have more than one property, there is a feature in the app to add multiple locations as long as the email address is the same for the account holder. I was able to add a picture of my multiple properties to ensure I am checking the correct location each time. That was a very nice touch.

I called Vivint to get information and ended up getting their service and equipment. I was worried about the coverage of their camera since they recommended only one for the front and my home sits on a curved road making my home kinda of wide and curved as well. I was told not to worry that the technician installing the equipment could add any additional cameras needed if need be. When the technician arrived he noticed the issue and tried to add the camera to my account but gave a total that did not match the initial quote if I were to add the camera when I spoke to the sales rep. The technician then removed the camera and gave me different total than I was quoted for the equipment that was going to get installed originally. He finally got it sorted out and finished his work.

Thank you, all your service was amazing and the guy there were very kind. And spreading everything to me with the app in my phone and how to change the pin or password, in the app or my phone. Thanks for everything and thanks to the guy who made everything possible to show me and help me get the app in my phone and do my profile.

I’m super satisfied with my purchase today and the tech that came out to install. Very good work. Explained everything to me and my Spanish speaking spouse. That’s a major plus. Took his time. Made sure we understood appointment. Was quick. Got my cameras installed the same day so thank you. I will highly recommend Vivint.

I’ve had Vivint for about 10 years and their equipment is built to last. I wanted an upgrade and had everything installed and ready to go in less than 24 hours. Josh was awesome and went over all the new equipment options with me and kept me in my price point.

My appointment was from 8-12 technician arrived at 8 and was done by 10!

These cameras are amazing! My friend had them installed and he told me that they were great so I went ahead and set an appointment and I’m so happy I did. The cameras are super clear and performs everything that I needed to perform. Kyle was my technician that came out and he was amazing. He set them up really quick and showed me how to use my panel and how to adjust my cameras the way I wanted them. I’m so happy to be a Vivint customer!!!

The service technicians were very helpful and thorough in answering and explaining all our questions. Still getting use to the system. Not sure I’m happy with the clarity of the indoor camera. Was hoping the picture would be clearer and not fuzzy when zooming in. Not sure if anything can be done with that?

I don’t feel I was told the truth about the prices of cameras. I received none of the complimentary things I was told about. I added a door lock upon installation and was told I would pay it with my three down payment finance payments, but I was actually charged 5 minutes after the technician left. I am actually doubting my decision. Honey I’m Not happy. I feel like I was bamboozled and fast talked into it all. The technician was good though!

I am extremely impressed by the sophistication our new security system has. We wanted to make sure we were getting some of the most up to date technology when looking into home security and Vivint had everything we were looking for. I would recommend this company to anybody. They have great customer service. They helped me get approved when my credit got declined. They made sure I understand everything I was getting for my price. They set up everything very quickly and quietly. My technician was very nice too. I feel like their pricing is very good and affordable for what you're receiving.

I’ve been calling and calling and No One is returning my calls. I had a service call last month. All of a sudden my bill jumped from $40 to $106. I asked how was this possible. The representative claimed I added a DVR to my account. I stated, I didn’t add anything. He’s literally arguing with me to the point I ask to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor is saying the same thing. I ask him to look at my account and explain to me when I supposedly ordered a DVR. He places me on hold and then states, “This is strange, there’s no DVR on your account.” Then he states he has to speak to someone in billing to clear the matter up.

First and foremost. Vivint is reasonable. Been with them over 13 years. The people you deal with customer service. They do a really good job. Ask you so many questions that it makes it seem like they care. Gentlemen named Anthony, who set my new home up respectable. Felt like he was very honest.

Came to install on a Monday, installer couldn’t finish said will be back tomorrow Tuesday at 2:00. Never showed up, no call no text, no call or text the next day to keep us updated. Finally coming 4 days later, they said they were busy with other installations, really what about finishing ours, unacceptable.

Absolutely amazing customer service with our installation team. This is our first time with Vivint and the gentleman were on time, extremely hardworking, helpful, and extremely respectful. They were very patient and knowledgeable with explaining the products and upgrades. The products are easy to use and high quality. I would highly recommend Vivint based on our installation process.

This account was transferred and I just moved into this home and I was trying to tell the lady that I was getting error messages and she was insistent that I make my payment and then she would send me to troubleshooting. The troubleshooting person was very good but it turns out there was a piece missing off of the front door which I’m gonna be charged $50. It will take at least a week for it to get here yet. I’m being charged for the system effective today. No one walked me through how to use the system so even when it starts, I’m not sure I’ll be able to use it until I go back on and spend another two hours with someone to try to go through that.

Very nice and understandable. Made me feel very comfortable. At first I told them I didn’t want it but they just didn’t stop talking to me and I didn’t want to give them my credit card but after they made me feel comfortable I was like alright I’ll do it. I have had a bad experience with giving out my credit cards number, was really hard but They made me feel like it was worth it. I know that I really need it for my safety also so I just want to say thank you the 4 gentleman that gave out today

Was given a quote and a receipt for the quote and first payment when the text arrived whom was great by the way. We called to try and understand why my paperwork was different. And the associate was a lil rude. Just make sure you ask questions as I’m going over the contract it was not what we discussed the day before glad I have 30 to cancel

Tech was fast and flawless with his work, hid every wire and if he couldn’t made sure to keep everything as neat as possible. Gave us a great walk through the system showing what each widget did from the events tab to camera night vision and where to change any passcodes or create different codes for different situations. Answered every question we had as well.

We decided to switch to a Vivint primarily because their cameras didn’t operate over WiFi. During the account setup, the agent assured us that our existing sensors would be compatible, but the technician who arrived was unfamiliar with them and suggested we pay for additional sensors. He also didn’t bring all the equipment we had been charged for, arguing that since we received a discount, we technically hadn’t paid for it so it didn’t matter if he didn’t remove it from the work order. Additionally, we were told we would receive a $20 monthly credit for 12 months based on our promotion, but this was not acknowledged during the installation. Overall, while the equipment itself rated 5/5, the installation felt more like a sales pitch for extra equipment, leading me to rate the overall experience a disappointing 2/5.

Google: Vivint Smart Home lawsuits. VIVINT IS THE WORST COMPANY. Save yourself the hassle and headaches, NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH VIVINT. They have dozens of lawsuits, court judgments, fines and penalties for their unlawful behavior. 'Nour' ** was the Vivint salesperson who went door-to-door, told us he would give us a better monthly security service rate than what we had, but failed to disclose a $1,799 starter kit fee and we never got an itemized equipment invoice or total until a $4,030 bill was received. We already had a $4k security system installed in our home, there was no reason for us to pay that again. Total con job. Nightmare to try and get it removed. Customer service is a worthless waste of time. Still dealing with the scam artist losers.

Great experience. The technician was prompt, efficient, and very professional. He answered all of my questions and I’m loving my new system. I was even able to call him after he left to answer another question and he called me back immediately and answered my question and told me to call whenever I needed to.

Technician was quick, clean, knowledgeable about everything he was doing, explaining what he was going to do every step he did. That tech is a Winner and a keeper. All working fine and he also called back the day after to follow up, see if I had any question or problems. That is excellent service by him

My family decided to move into the high quality digital age of home security! Vivint captured our attention with their product (s). We were intrigued by the seemingly ease of operation and quality of the cameras! The installation was longer than anticipated but the end result was good. Now we are in the process of learning all the ends and outs of the system!

Installation went pretty smoothly and Ryan did a good job explaining everything and was very helpful and courteous. The paperwork was a bit overwhelming and we had some glitches but over all after speaking to Russ we worked it out. We have not had time (only one day)to fully process all the options available so time will tell. I would give them a 9 out 10.

Kobe was very informative, tech came the afternoon we decided to get the system. No installation fee promotion. That was great. Kobe came by the next day, to check on everything. So nice. Had a couple questions/issues all taken care of. Thank you.

Our tech Rashad was very professional and he took his time explaining the whole process and how to upload everything on our phone and in our home. My husband and I were pleased with the end results of our alarm system. We did have a little issue with price of the equipment but we spoke a sales representative and they were willing to work with us and give us some perks.

Where they drilled holes to run cable left dust there. Did not clean up after themselves. Should get a little rechargeable dust buster to leave area clean would be more professional looking. Left me all the boxes to deal with. Other than that was done well. I did like the fact that I was given the option to only get the sensors I felt I need.

Chris was great and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Service. We had 2 outside cameras and a door bell camera installed as well as several inside items installed (glass break detection, smoke and fire detection, motion detection and entry detection). The new main pad is very user friendly. Chris went through all the features on the pad as well as the phone set up and how to use it.

I heard so many great things about Vivint which is why I decided to go with them. However, getting started with my system was such a terrible experience. I had to do my application over 5 times due to errors on their end. One of those times I was on hold for 2 hours until the agent said she would call me back and she never did. After waiting all day for her call, I called Vivint again, and was on hold for another 45 minutes. I called a total of 5 times before getting things squared away. Just to have my technician come and discover things were not squared away. I made it clear that if I had to call Vivint it would be to cancel the service. Shout out to my technician. He got everything right and I ended up having a great experience with HIS service. GREG for the win!!!!

I want to start off with saying my Technician was amazing. He was knowledgeable, polite and thorough. I was very hesitant about the system and how safe I'd feel, but what I purchased was just right to make me feel safe. His recommendation was spot on and he wasn't pushy trying to oversell. What sold me was the great quality of the cameras and the light feature. We had a different service before that used Ring cameras and they were always delayed and not good quality. Yes I'm paying a bit more but it's been worth it so far with the camera quality. So far everything is good and hoping it stays that way! Installation was fast too.

Installer was exceptional and knowledgeable. He answer questions with the different scenarios I brought to him. Installation was on point and and efficient. Installation was done, efficiently and accurately, and the agent was pleasant, informative, and courteous. He answered all our questions. He arrived early for his appointment. His instructions were clear, and easy to understand. His uniform was immaculately clean. His speech was easy to understand, and his grammar was perfect. We have never had a security system installation, that was done so well.

The install tech was very friendly and knowledgeable on the systems. I am happy I chose to go with Vivint and I feel more secure now in my home. Ordering the products over the phone was very easy, he made it very worth my time. The wonderful installer was great and he was able to adjust and adapt my order based on what he actually was seeing in my home. I would highly recommend this product and company. Easy to use keypad.

Cameras do what they say. Love the spotlight. Ask questions about if you move, we were told different. Even if you decided to cancel, you're out of luck if you do same day service unless you meet a small part of requirements. Which this was told upfront. Ask questions and read before you agree.

Installer was very personable and professional. Took time to respond to any questions I had. Walked me through the process patiently since I’m not the most techie person. I very much appreciated that!! My daughter did find some leftover empty containers from equipment in the backyard which she wasn’t too thrilled about. But all in all it was a good experience.

I sold my house and called Vivint to cancel my service. They kept trying to get me to transfer my service but I kept telling them we didn’t want to do that. After about 20 mins of me telling them over and over again that I wasn’t doing it they finally sent me a cancellation email. I assumed it was over & done. 3 months later I’m seeing they continued to auto draft my checking account. When I called back, the same thing happened, they kept trying to get us to transfer our service. I told them we had a cancellation email and it should have been cancelled. After about 20 mins of arguing with them for continuing to take my money out of my account, I just hung up and called my bank to stop them from ever taking more money out of my account. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!

I did get the sign after salesperson that was his goal. Still need more information on the credit card to pay my termination fee on ADT that Nick told me will be taken care of the fee if I got Vivint. I like my alarm system. It’s been working fine. The installation group were great. Thank you.

I have been reluctantly with Vivint for 2 years now. The doorbell goes off numerous times. Now after 2 years I am told they can no longer troubleshoot my system since the equipment probably needs to be replaced because it’s 5 years old. My home was built two years ago so that means they put old equipment in my home. My options? 1 - pay to have a tech come out and then charge me for new equipment 2 - “upgrade” and pay monthly for a protection plan and I can upgrade my equipment- which may be new or not. 3 - pay a disconnect fee since my equipment doesn’t work. This is a scam.

The technicians worked diligently to set up all components and get it in working order. There were a couple of hiccups or miscommunications but to be fair, it was 10:30 last night when AJ left and our brains were basically squish. The technician today had to leave and come back because some things were forgotten but that was ok because it wasn’t that big of a deal. The technician arrived around 9:30 this morning and finished around 6 this evening. He even had his boss come and check on us to make sure we were satisfied with the job.

The Tech Phillip was very helpful and did an excellent job. I felt comfortable having him in my home. He was very patient with me when he helped me set up my app. He was very thorough when he demonstrated the system. He was very kind and friendly. The people who sold me the system and helped setup the installation appointments were very nice and helpful

I'm very pleased that I went with Vivint. Field Pro Binyam was very professional. He did a great job installing and explaining the Vivint Smart Home Pro system to me. His suggestions for placing the cameras were perfect and the care with which he used to hide the wires was impressive. Knowing that my home is protected is worth every penny spent!

Issue #1 the smoke/CO2 detector was not properly installed and the control panel is calling it an issue that needs attention. Issue #2 within in minutes after the technician left the doorbell camera stopped working. I deleted it and re added it but it won’t show me live video, the chime button doesn’t create an audible tone in the house, on the panel, or on my phone app. Also the microphone to communicate to the doorbell is showing as non available. The proper equipment wasn’t brought to the job at 9am and the technician was here until approximately 3.5 hours and the system isn’t working.

I was really pleased at the fact l was having trouble with my Apple app and it was taking a min and the gentleman was so very patient. He took his time made sure everything was working. L was definitely pleased. Thank you so much and l’m definitely going to give you an good referral

I absolutely love my new cameras. The lady who installed my system is the absolute best!!!! She did great and answered all my questions accurately! Just a pleasant lady and experience! I would recommend to friends and family any day. I cannot express enough how wonderful my installer was. She did a superb job! Our sales guy David was very friendly and answered all the questions we had and even concerns over whether or not we could do it for cheaper using something else. Made our decision pretty easy and once we decided to go with them, it only took about an hour and we were all set up with everything installed and working.

When I got the system it worked pretty well, the back camera never worked so I unplugged it but still was charged for having two cameras. So the contract was up I decided not to renew. They cut my front doorbell off. I would not recommend them as a security company. And they also charge you an early disconnection fee. They are not a people friendly company. It's all about the money, it's a turtle ripoff. They make you sign a contract for 5 years. The salesman told me I can call back at any time to discontinue the service which is also not true. After 5 years the total amount was almost $5,000. Don't do it.

When we spoke to Dawson we explained what we wanted and didn’t receive as expected. I called to speak to him and not available. Additionally I was charged extra. I was told I had to get outside contractors to finish the order and pay extra. I don’t have extra extra money.

The sales rep was knowledgeable as were the technicians. My chief complaint is that the chime extender does not extend the “motion detected” chimes. However, it will relay everything else. The main selling point was the chime extender waking us up if motion was detected in the driveway. Aside from the chime extender, I am happy with the cameras and operating system of the house, especially the lock. The professionalism and expertise from the team the entire way through was absolutely perfect. Just, a shame about the extender.

Such an easy system to use and they really provide great coverage! Everyone I've talked to with Vivint has been really nice and I thoroughly recommend them! The peace of mind their security system provides is definitely worth it!

This experience both with the sales and technician persons were very pleasant and professional. I approached the salesperson and asked for information before making my decision. I do wish that the price of the equipment would be an integral piece of information with more or less accurate numbers while making our decision. The final total cost seemed to change in every piece of document. However I am satisfied with the purchase and service.

At first I was satisfied with my new system- until I realized just how much I owe- The salesman had coworkers standing in front of my house waiting to go to lunch- so the sales part felt rushed and I feel I was misled or I didn’t understand the huge amount I now owe for the equipment- The salesman used the word free for much of the equipment and rushed me through the process, so I am left shocked over just how much debt I took on… In fairness I am recently widowed, so part of the problem could be grief and widow’s brain- but I am unsure what to do next??

I have been with Vivint for over ten years and although I had minor issues, today just made me look for other options. Six weeks ago, I contact them because one of my outdoor cameras became inoperable. They attempted to fix the issue over the phone but could not. They sent a tech to my house and he attempted to fix the issue but determined that the camera needs to be replaced. He said an upgrade would cost roughly $1,000 plus tax and installation or I could wait six weeks until the camera can be reordered. I told him I will wait.

Derek installed our system today, was very informative with answering our questions and concerns. Unlike Carl which we spoke to online. Carl took our deposit and did not answer our texts when we tried to ask more questions. He did not explain what we were to expect nor did he provide ANY information or an invoice on the equipment we were looking to purchase and installed. Both Carl and Kevin were very misleading regarding the items they said were ‘FREE’. Neither mention what the ‘Start up kit’ included or how that works. I hope you clear this up before someone else goes through this same experience.

I see the value of the video monitoring, and connection to the police to keep us safe. it is very easy to use the system, and I would recommend it to anyone trying to protect their home property and family. I am very pleased with our install. Quality equipment and very easy to use. Art was exceptional all around. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made it a fun time to hang out & talk to him while he worked on the install. Despite running into minor issues that he was not expecting, such as the house being made of brick between the drywall, he immediately had a solution to move forward and finish the install in a timely & professional looking way.

The door sensor was set as a window sensor but it got fixed real quick over the phone. The call was fast and was very concise. I had the same problem with my last alarm company but they took an hour to answer and couldn't even fix the problem. So it's very nice that you guys were able to fix it and so quickly. Thank you.

I would give Vivint a 0 if that were an option! If Vivint Security comes to your door, shut it and run the other way! We signed up for their smart-home security system on September 4th. Their very slimy sales rep, Nate, told us that they were offering us a 30-day trial because it was a new build. After agreeing to the 30-day trial and signing up at 5:30 p.m. He says his technician will be over shortly to install. Flash forward 2.5 hours, and still no tech. I tell Nate that we can schedule a time for installation; it's late, it's a school night, etc. Nate then informs me that it must be installed on the SAME DAY to get my deal (mind you he did not mention that when going over the package or deal). 11:15 the tech was finally done, but did not have our smart thermostats available, so he would have to come back to install those later.

Joe was most certainly the best installer I have ever worked with. His concise approach to educating me and my staff far surpassed my expectations. We had 4 burglaries in 2 weeks and he knew exactly how to handle the situation and help us through the process. Should be receiving credit with insurance company with this system as well. System monitoring and emergency verification and dispatching was another huge plus.

The sales representative lied about the services that I could have. The alarm is also constantly going off and the services are so expensive. I am wanting to cancel my services because I am not happy with them at all. They say I could have bars on my windows but when they came out they stated that's not done anymore.

Eight months ago, I have Vivint install two security systems at both my homes up north in New York and one here in Naples, Florida. One star is a compliment. I’ve spent hours replacing faulty parts, even though I purchased the Service Contract. The alarm went off today in Florida for no reason. I spent an hour on the phone with customer service to be told that the next service appointment would be sometime next month. I was also on the phone for a separate 45 minute phone call, once the man made the appointment you read off my address which was not even close to my home address not even in the same state. I read reviews before I purchased the system. Awful customer service sales person lied to me about everything I was purchasing. The biggest ways of $8000 I’ve ever spent.

Our tech, Cody, was very efficient and informative! He did a thorough walk-through of our home and let us know what we needed in order for things to be secure. We had a very pleasant experience and we feel extra safe in our brand new home! Thanks again, Cody & Vivint!

Joshua was very knowledgeable and understanding to my needs. He was able to tell me from experience why giving would be a good option for my home security. He is very personable and professional. Christina came right over and got to work she was very quick and efficient in installing my equipment and made sure I could use all features easily. These two are amazing and Vivint is lucky to have them.

Roque arrived on time, was very knowledgeable about all the products I had questions about, and he worked quickly, but carefully to complete the installation. He showed me how to operate the system at the wall panel and on my smart phone through the app. So far, the security system has been easy to use and I would recommend Vivint to anyone looking to add a sense of security to their home.

Buyer beware. A salesperson cold called us while walking our neighborhood. Lie one - he told me there was a 30 day cancel period. Lie two - nothing new will appear on my credit report. Even after telling sales representative many times that I didn't want anything new credit inquiry due to us purchasing a new car. He assured me it would be a soft pull, not an hard inquiry. All lies.

Ariel was so professional with my install today. He help my mom understand how to use the new system and showed us how everything works together. 10 out of 10 service. I would highly recommend him again for anyone. Great customer service, honesty and integrity the whole way through. I would definitely recommend one of my family members to try out and see if it benefits them in any way. I love my new system and the way it set up exactly the way I wanted it and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

Doug set up our Vivint system efficiently, and walked us through the use and system perfectly. He prioritized keeping the installation clean and tidy, which we appreciated, and was very helpful with our questions (and we had lot). We give him 10 out of 10. I recently sold my house and called Vivint to cancel my service. I was informed that I was still on the hook for 50% of the remainder of my one year contract if the new owners did not take over the contract. I have no control over that. Furthermore I cannot in good faith recommend that they do so knowing this is not a customer friendly company - looking for legalistic ways to trap the customer and keep a buck. I know this was probably in the fine print. But I want to make you aware of this fine print and the heart of the company that you are considering hiring. They value that buck more than you and are willing to sacrifice their reputation for a few bucks. This is a blueprint for a company that fails.

The service was amazing and he was very helpful on telling us how to use the app and equipment. He asked us how we felt about where all the equipment was being installed and how he was setting all the equipment up. He also was very funny and he was really fast about how he putting everything in.

Robert was great when he came to my apartment. He was straight to the point and it was very simple and painless set up process. Robert took the time after installment and went over all the details of how to use the system. It's been a few days but, everything works without issue and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a door camera/security system.

Justin was very thorough and quick with my security install. He explained everything and provided his expertise on location of cameras. Justin was pleasant and polite while in my home. I give him 5 stars and recommend him for other installs. He’s quite the gentleman and very patient with a rambunctious household.

Was told I would have a worry free trial period and wanted to have a look at the camera. Got the camera and 3 of the door/window monitors set up and asked for them to be removed a few days later due to rep not replying back in a timely manner. Come to find out they did a hard credit check twice and wrote up the installment as installing one of their priciest packages. Customer service refuses to do anything at all along with 3 weeks of their rep basically avoiding me at all cost. So not only will they not let me return anything after their rep lied about everything but also charging me almost $5k in products when I only have $400 worth of gear plus the iPad control pad. When they say run don't walk 100% they mean it. Run and don't look back. They have had multiple lawsuits about their fraudulent practices and apparently have learned nothing!

The sales experience was overall very good. Informative but not too pushy. Once I wanted some time to talk to my wife I was treated with respect. Subsequent text messages to check in were kind. Once technician came and advised my wife did feel a bit of upsell in play. However, I felt that was expected And part of the negotiation for final fees. Pleased with the product.

The activation rep was great! Alex walked me through the process of setting up my home security system over the phone and made everything very easy for me. I was offered the equipment protection, learned how to arm my home and access cameras from my phone. My favorite feature is the 2 way voice calling through the system.

My rep Diego was great! He was very thorough and was of great assistance. I was always able to contact him and he has been responsive and able to address my concerns. The technicians that installed my equipment were very professional and efficient. They made sure I was satisfied with the placement of my cameras and doorbell.
