Everything went well and smooth. There were a few issues concerning equipment defects but they were replaced with new units. The installer showed up promptly and was extremely professional. He made sure that everything was to our liking. And gave us the run down on how to operate everything. Would recommend to others.

My technician was very thorough, efficient and knowledgeable. He was punctual and took his time in explaining any questions I had about the equipment, additional products and services. I am enjoying all the features I selected to assist in caring for my disabled Mother.

Vivint was very good with their information about install. I believe they were very informative and helpful. As I told them I would give them 10 stars out of a possible 10 stars! They went over the products in detail until I felt comfortable enough with them until they felt confident enough that I understood enough then they left.

From the initial quoting to installation, the entire process was very smooth. The technician that completed the installation provided a great service, and was very thorough in explaining how our new security system works. I'm extremely satisfied with Vivint. Would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to secure their home and family.

Peter was a great technician. He was very welcoming and friendly, and he did a great job installing the pieces and walking us through all of the ways that we need to use technology. Would definitely recommend him. He knew where to place the smart home equipment around our house, which made me feel very safe. Overall I’m very happy with the product as well.

Yes my installer Tim was very nice, polite and respectful. I would recommend him to do any installing for my friends. He took his time to make sure we understood how to work the alarm system and helped to make sure it was on the phone. He also made sure the system was installed right before he left.

Charlie was great and very helpful. He did an amazing job and kept me very informed. Charlie was able to give me details about all of the installation throughout and was able to show me how to utilize everything. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. The system is very user-friendly and is easy to manipulate.

Mike was awesome! Very informative and walked me through the entire process. Very kind and personable. I didn’t have WiFi at the time of installation but he showed me how to use all of my devices from my phone. He was patient and made sure he placed all of my cameras in the right spot that allowed the best view.

I used to have Vivint at a home in a different state and canceled before moving to Texas. I tried another company after it was recommended from the home builder and it didn’t come anywhere close to the level of customer service, speed of installation, and quality of technology of Vivint. Vivint sales reps were knowledgeable and accurate, installation techs were friendly and helpful, and this made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. My technician was courteous and kind. He showed me how to work my system and added it to my iPhone. Yes, I would recommend his service to my friends and family. I feel like I can proceed with my life because my home is safe from fire and I can control my thermostat from my phone. I also can view my side yard and my front door and that’s a blessing to know who’s coming in and out of my house when I’m not there.

My technician was great and knowledgeable. He took care of everything I wanted. I’m really happy with my cameras and security. I asked for recommendations on my Facebook and a majority of my friends recommended Vivint. I am happy that I went with Vivint. And look forward to adding more things to my home eventually.

From the minute the salesman, Fisher **, greeted me and started telling me about Vivint security, I knew that it was going to be a wonderful opportunity for my home. I had been contemplating the idea of security, but with his knowledge and confidence in Vivint (and might I say, delightful personality) I was sure that having the security products I selected installed was the absolute right choice. I was able to select my installation time and they were very accommodating. The technician, Adam, that installed the security was very prompt in arriving at the time I chose, and was fast, friendly, and efficient. It was a very pleasant experience overall. I will be recommending Vivint to everyone for their security needs.

Brandon came and was able to get me set up quick and fast. After the installation was complete he was able to explain the system in way where it was easy to understand and get things done. After that the clean up of was fast and easy as well. I have no problems at all with today’s service. Thank you guys and I’ll definitely tell a friend!

Vivint. Love this app. I can check on my house when I am not at home. Check the weather out. Keep an eye on my puppy. I can call for help with my virtual account. I can talk to someone if at my door if I am there or not and I can see who is at my door when door bell I ringed.

The installer was on time, explained what he was doing, and took the time to show us how to operate the system. The install was fast, no mess and easy to learn.. The system to use it, is easy and being able to open and close on your phone is great! It works. Recommend them to all of my family and friends.

My installer Jenny was very professional and did an outstanding job. She arrived within the promised window and installation was very smooth. Process was seamless. They have the latest in security technology. A must have… I can now be assured that my property is secure. I can keep my eyes on it while I’m away and be comfortable in the fact that my assets are protected.

I have always thought highly of this alarm company until a false alarm was triggered last night and the alarm was not audible upstairs where I was sleeping. It could’ve been a disaster, but for the fact that somebody else was awake and heard it downstairs. Otherwise, police would’ve come crashing through my door. When I called today, they told me that “it’s just a to scare away the burglars“ which is ridiculous because you have to respond to the panel and if you’re sleeping, obviously you will not be able to go and do that. They told me they just came out with the chime extender, I guess that’s a good idea except now they want me to pay for it and install it myself. I’m canceling my service. I have had other alarm systems and when they activated you definitely heard it throughout the house.

The person that helped me is THE Man!!! He was patient with me and heard all of my concerns. He also walked me through each step with patience and clarity. He was just as concerned about my issue as I was and was determined to see me through till the end. He is the MAN.

There was no coordination between sales and install. I had spent an hour on the phone the day before to ensure no delays on contract price for install the next day. Installer arrived and spent 2-2.5 hours on the phone getting pricing sorted before even starting. The upshot of this was, he rushed at the end, did not clean up, did not finish, because he was rushing to get home to dinner. New systems- current issues, no holiday tones, dead batteries, did not finish installing components on a door. I cannot in good faith recommend based on a very poor experience. I have yet to receive the 2nd keyless FOB that was not provided. This was the second attempted install. I did get to listen to the installer complain loudly about sales for 6 hours.

Everything was good initially! The smoke detector is amazing as it picks up on kitchen smoke immediately! The camera has a good view and sees everything except the person that STOLE my grand daughter’s bike at 2 in the morning! Nor did it catch the car being stolen over night! So unfortunately I do not support the product! Also, I was receiving auto deductions and then they turned it into a credit card making the interest more and extending the balance!

My experience with Vivint was excellent from the beginning to the end. The customer service rep to the service technician did a great job. Mr. Jay ** is very professional and he is very through when explaining how the product works. He really made it easy to learn the system in no time. Mr Jay showed up to the resident within the timeframe that was stated. Mr. Jay is very knowledgeable and he take pride in his job. Thanks Vivint for a great product and a wonderful experience.

I was already familiar with product offerings and capabilities but setup and install was a great experience. Nick was amazing on the install and setup. He answered all my questions and even took the time to engage with my daughter and my dog. Fantastic employee, a credit to your organization and an overall great experience.

The technician was thorough and very transparent. Made sure that I was crystal clear about everything before he left my residence. I am pleased with everything. It is easy to add users and totally monitor each area. All the areas that he needed to access was explained and he did not take a long time to do the job.

I completely missed my appointment the first time and almost the second time. They were very patient helpful and no extra fee. Special shoutout to Joseyl **. And Corey for all the help!!! They were very patient and I really appreciate them for constantly contacting me and finding my apartment especially since I was at my overnight job and only my mom was home and I was without signal at the time.

I am very pleased with the installation of my Vivint security system. The technician Mr. Cameron ** was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He ensured I understood the documents signed, as well as ensured I was able to operate and understand my new system. Yes, I will recommend Vivint to family and friends.

I called Vivint as a neighbor of mine has this home security system and I was impressed with features and the ease of access. Within 2 hours of my initial call, a technician visited my home to install the new equipment. He was professional, kind, explained everything and efficient. Additionally, the app was easy to install on my phone and more importantly, we were able to use/synchronize some of the window/door monitors from my previous security system.

The service that you guys provide with the installation was very satisfactory, the camera quality is clear and the sound is clear. The front light is bright and tracks well when motion is detected. It’s only day one but so far the quality seems great. The employees were all kind as well and very great communicators.

I would never spend a penny on this company. The customer service is AWFUL, Ross A and a supervisor both hung up on my wife. Ross A should be fired, I work in customer service and that is un-acceptable. She was calling to cancel service that our her son ordered without her knowledge. Instead of offering a cancellation option, they told her to get a lawyer before hanging up on her. Worst company we have ever dealt with.

I would not recommend Vivint simply because of their billing practices. I cancelled my service due to relocating and not needing their service anymore. After almost an hour of them trying to keep my business I was told my account would be closed. A long story short, my credit card was still being charged for the next three months. I called to inquire, again long holds lots of apologies and confirming that my account should not have been charged. I wish issued a refund for last three charges. The next day I was RECHARGED for the refund I received. I am now on hold (43 minutes and counting) to rectify this once again. I have asked to elevate the call to a representative of account services. Now they will not allow me to elevate the call. We are in the process of building a home. I would NEVER allow them to provide service to me again. I am filing a complaint against the company.

Our tech was very punctual and neat in his set up. The tech was very efficient in setting our system up. He was very knowledgeable in regards to problems he ran into. He made it very easy for us to program and understand. Would definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors.

My technician Elgin was great and very patient with me. He knew what he was doing. He made sure wires was neatly put up and neat: He showed me how to work everything and made sure everything was working properly before he left. Thanks for everything. I love my system.

Vivint service is pure garbage. Their customer service reps and account reps lie through their teeth about getting you support to fix your system and never call back, never schedule repairs that they caused, etc. I spent over $10,000 on my Vivint system and all the cameras go down 10 times a day and at best they send out techs who were hired yesterday with no training and then follow up with calls trying to sell you their service plans. I was psyched about Vivint when I first signed up and spent over $10,000 on their system. 100% regret it. Their service is garbage. Pure garbage. Even for a client that spent that much with them. Go to ADT or anyone else.

Home security is complex business, but Vivint has made it simple. Their installer Miguel ** was capable and explained everything in detail and worked with me whenever I needed a demonstration. I feel like my home is more secure now than it was before. It (Vivint) is a very good system and the installation was very well done.

From calling in to order the service to my technician coming out I was provided with the best customer service and was assured I understood my monthly bill and how everything worked with clarity. I would recommend all my family and friends, and love the new set up. I was also showed a preview of the service before installment which I liked,

This is the second system I've purchased, I love the features and ease of use. They came out to install everything during a winter storm and they need praised for that! The technician also made great recommendations and didn't push any decision making on us either. It was a really good experience. :)

Freddie did a great job installing and explaining how the system works. Showed up on time, completed the entire process in less than 4 hours. Demonstrated the functions of the alarm and camera system. I can’t review anything other than the installation service, as I have had the system for a less than a day.

My Vivint service pro, Kyeon Ford was very professional, knowledgeable, and forthcoming. He arrived to my home promptly and explained everything in my order and then as a knowledgeable professional he installed the system. Before I knew it he was done with installation, and I felt confident I would be able to manage the system going forward. Thank you Kyeon you are a very intelligent young man!

From your call center to the in home technician this was by far the easiest and best home security I’ve ever had and will stand on that until proved otherwise! 10/10 Recommend for anyone with experience in this area! My technician was prompt, on time, fast, friendly, and courteous to my needs and wants.

The team that installed my system was simply the best. Professional installation. Great explanation of services. They were kind and even the dog enjoyed the visit. The system works great and looking forward to having a safer home. When I’m gone and my wife is home alone I feel like someone is watching.

I was very impressed with the great customer service I received today along with the professional installation. There was no cleanup left behind. I was explained in great detail how the alarm service worked both on the main panel and my phone. They offer a $300.00 referral fee to whom you refer them to, as well as to the person doing the referral. I would recommend them highly.

They send subpar batteries with their sensors and then they corrode and they try to charge you $50 to replace the sensor! Tried telling me I waited too long to replace the battery! I went to replace the day the panel notified me that it needed it!

Great presentation enjoying the new system. Works great!! My son and I feel very safe and the system is easy to use. Brian was very easy to work with and he didn’t try and oversell anything I didn’t want. I will be more than happy to recommend Vivint to family and friends. I look forward to a long relationship.

Everything was so fast and it's so easy to do use. My husband is not really into technology and apps and learned this one on the first time. He even uses the app on his phone. Only tells you how easy it is to use. We love the comfort it's giving us specially during the night. That way we can sleep better knowing our family is safer.

During the set up the service address was incorrect. Once I forced the issue to make them change it to the correct address I was told they would fix billing address. They didn't. Our billing address is still incorrect. I've communicated asking for it to be changed and it still isn't done.

The servicing tech that did our panel activation was amazing. Super funny, knowledgeable, and professional. Because of this experience I will be getting Vivint for all of my homes. Ditching over from the other doorbell security was the best thing I ever did. I can not say it enough, Vivint is amazing.

Please please anyone looking to get Vivint services, run the other way. They will lock you in a contract for five years, never refund any money even if they tell you, and their monitoring services suck. They will force you to upgrade so they can get more money out of you. Please please stay away from them. Do your research on how many bad reviews and complaints they have. I wish I would have.

First, Moussa ** was my service guy. Moussa is amazing, experienced, and very knowledgeable. Moussa is a great Asset to Vivint, Vivint should be very proud to have him with their organization. Moussa explains the process in Layman terms, he makes sure you understand how to use the equipment, asked for feedback and questions. I normally do not write reviews in-depth, but this one is very important because reviewers must know that good customer experience is vital when you get good service. Lastly, Vivint, thank you for honoring my discount as initially promised!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! They think they are Comcast and want to charge $100 for a service call to replace their faulty equipment! Made my 70year old husband get on a Ladder to replace their sensor that they replaced last week? Never again! What’s even worse is when I purchased the PROTECTION PLAN I was assured that they would make service calls! Do not be fooled like I was!

Victor was our security rep. He was very professional, efficient, and personable. He answered all the questions I had and even took the time to make sure I understood how to utilize the security system to its fullest. I would definitely suggest Victor and Vivint to my family and friends.

I requested on numerous occasions to cancel the contract with Vivint because the service and equipment does not work. Over the very short time I used the service, I had Vivint technicians come to my home on three separate occasions because of issues with the system and equipment. I armed my system less than 10 times, and two of the first six times I used the Vivint system, two resulted in false alarms. The last false alarm resulted in the police being called to my home at 2am-although the system never sounded enough to be heard on the second floor of my home, where our bedrooms are. The Vivint doorbell cannot be heard on the second floor of my home, and technician had to put a device downstairs to extend the doorbell even on the first floor.

I have been thinking about security for my home for a while. I am glad I got to take advantage of an amazing deal without worrying about getting into a large debt or worrying about how to be able to afford to protect my family & home. Getting Vivint was the best decision we have ever made. Will highly recommend to all friends and family. Our tech Damon, was great, efficient, and explained all the functions thoroughly, made the process pleasant and painless.

Love that I'm able to see live feed as well as lock my home from the comfort of my home! It's a bit pricey but for the safety of my home and family, it's worth every penny.

Okay, how bad can it be? Everything that you promise doesn't happen. They overcharge me. I spent 8 hours trying to get my money back. Still not sure if that's happened. The five times that I called I was on the phone for an hour. Now the camera, my ring camera stayed online more than the Vivint camera. Every few days it's offline for no reason because the internet is fine. Long story short, just run. Just run away not towards away.

Installer was courteous, very pleasant, explained how to use the system and worked around my pets without complaint. He offered to return on Sunday because he was missing one camera. This was very convenient for me because I did not have to make arrangements again at work. Minor suggestion to trash the screws from the old fixtures. Other than that great service!

The two lads that presented the product were knowledgeable, professional, candid, and extremely personable. Our only concern was there was too much to digest in operating the numerous modes of the system in such a short amount of time. The technology provided is difficult for me since I’m not tech savvy.

Kevin arrived and walked me through what was initially ordered through my move concierge. After discussing my needs we decided to add additional sensors and camera and add video playback from the cameras. Couldn't ask for a nicer guy! He was super fast with the installation and took his time answering any questions I had.

My Tech was great! Very friendly and came prepared! Was skilled in his craft and took the time make sure all of my questions were answered. He even came earlier than expected and covered for a coworker who was not feeling well. I appreciated the team work and customer centric mindset. I would recommend Vivint to friends and family. I would recommend Vivint. They have reliable service and really nice Customer Support and Field Service Professionals. I was having issues with my current camera and I chose Vivint for my replacement. I'm really excited going forward. The camera's video screen is crisp and clear, the Field Service Professional was kind, helpful and knowledgeable.

Vivint’s security system is easy to use, high quality, and reliable, but the standout was the service we received from Ryan. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, answering all our questions and ensuring a smooth setup, even while we had movers in and out of the house. Would highly recommend Vivint.

I attempted to end my service with Vivint after moving. I was told I could keep it active for two months without charge and could follow up to determine if I wanted to continue service at a new location or to transfer it to the new homeowners. I declined and was still charged for those two months of service. I called Vivint repeatedly over months, and was eventually told I would be issued the credit. After weeks passed, I still didn't receive the credit so I called again to follow up. The last person I spoke to said my account was closed and it was impossible for them to issue the refund on a closed account. They even attempted to get me to open a new account and pay for additional services to get that credit. The constant up-selling and their lack of ability to rectify the situation with a long-standing customer was incredibly frustrating. I will not be using their services in the future.

The Technician was thoroughly versed in the service: blind spots, heavy/low traffic areas, equipment limits, response time, etc. All questions were answered satisfactorily. Be prepared, because setup took some time. Anytime an issue arose on compatibility, it was resolved quickly and to my benefit.

We used Vivint for our security monitoring service at our home and it went well! The salesperson was very knowledgeable and assisted with questions we had on the products and he assisted with recommendations. The technician was knowledgeable as well and installed the product without any issues. They were also very transparent with pricing and services.

The entire process was easy and our technician worked with our schedule to come out to our house and installed all of the equipment quick. Our technician showed us how to work the panel. It is a very nice system and we’re loving it so far. The features are far not better than a simple ring doorbell camera. Go with Vivint for sure.

Technician arrived as scheduled, he was professional and very helpful. Alarm panel has a sleek design and is easy to use. Being able to access everything from your cell phone is a plus as well. I did not have to wait a long time to get an appointment. Customer service was great.

High pressure and deceitful sales tactics, false alarms, unanswered alarms, equipment works about half the time, poor quality installation, hard to understand the employees answering the phones because most speak broken English, etc… and so on. Hey but don’t take my word for it. Do the research. This is one of the most negatively reviewed companies I have ever encountered, BBB, Google, Yelp…. and the lawsuits that have been brought against this company are numerous.

We've been trying to cancel my dad's Vivint security account FOR 6 MONTHS. The unit doesn't work, they keep increasing the bill, taking directly from his checking account. The alarm goes off, nobody calls, no police come, it hasn't worked for a year. We call to cancel. We get transferred a dozen times, they try to sell us a better system, but when I told them my dad had cancer...they added what stage, I told them 4 and they said, "Oh we can cancel it." Except, there's no email on the account so we can't do online and they've yet to send the paperwork. At this point we are calling the Attorney General because we have no recourse and the bank isn't cooperating either. It's so upsetting.

I had an outstanding experience with Vivint from start to finish. The two sales representatives were attentive and knowledgeable, addressing all my questions with great patience. The technician who completed the installation was equally impressive, providing thorough guidance on how to use the alarm system, including the video features. I wholeheartedly recommend Vivint for their exceptional service and support!

We were very impressed and had been looking to replace our ADT system for a few years now. Mark who installed the system was also very professional and polite. Our installer Bobby was fast, smart, knowledgeable, and friendly. He had everything in half the time they suggested. And everything is working great now. He trained me on the system and answered a couple of follow-up questions via text. I would recommend him and the company again. Great job.

Deceptive sales tactics, such as inaccurate initial estimates or misrepresentations of contract terms. Installation was done incorrectly (I have 45 years experience in electronics, telecommunications, fire alarm and security systems (Installation, management and maintenance). The customer service is very poor. I have put in over 9 hours phone time to get an issue resolved and it has NOT been corrected. This is the WORST experience I have ever had. Buyer beware. This company is rip off.

Jayson was incredible. He explained everything to me and helped me to update my phone so I could download the company’s app. Very helpful and courteous. Everything is working out perfectly and was told if I needed help or assistance with my security system to call him. Professional and very knowledgeable.

The customer service was outstanding from the initial call to the technician setup. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This company has provided the best service to me and my family now and in the past. I went to a different company for a while, but I came back.

I was promised cameras that never showed up, they sold me them in September and I’ve called the sales rep who has never responded. I have also called Vivint directly 2 separate times, and cannot get anyone to help fix the issue. I only did the system for the cameras, I never alarm my system but it was needed in order to use the cameras. I can’t believe it is so hard to fulfill on their commitment and breach of the agreement we have made with them.

Had a perfect sit down with the sales rep who was informative and is a customer himself. Our installer was very helpful and informative. Helped set up my wife and I with profiles and get all equipment installed where we wanted it. Only reason for the 4 star is that the MyQ cannot connect with the garage opener. This really isn't on the personnel.

Tech was very informative and polite. He didn't hesitate to answer questions. Work around my expectations. Equipment seems high quality and easy to use. I would highly recommend Vivint Home Security to anyone seeking a solid security system with little hassle. It's a sound peace of mind knowing your home and family are safe.

Disappointed that I was told certain sensors were compatible with Vivint. Installer came and told me I would to buy new door sensors and the garage piece of equipment really isn’t compatible with Vivint. Texted with sales rep and he seemed upset because I did not answer his call while the technician was setting my phone up. Says he would take care of things, but I have to hear back from him! It is potentially worth switching back to my previous company!

I’m extremely disappointed with Vivint’s service, which has been a nightmare. Despite having a contract until 2026, Vivint has consistently failed to provide the functioning security system I was promised. My cameras and other equipment have been essentially useless for the past six months. I contacted support multiple times, endured numerous visits from their technicians, and even had equipment replaced, but nothing has resolved the issues.

The techs did an amazing job putting the system together for me and explaining in detail how it works. They did exceptional. I love my new security system! I would recommend them to my family and friends! So far everything is working as promised it would. Thank you guys for a job well done. I appreciate everything.

The sales and installation were fine. The sales person was friendly and knew the answers to the main questions. Installer did fine. Though he did not speak a lot of English, it was enough. System seems easy to use though it does remember our favorite access code from the last time we were with Vivint. Thus it will not let us use it.

Initially didn’t understand I was getting a doorbell but was very understanding to hear me out on it, he added the doorbell on and put every sensor in a good spot, and managed the chords and equipment placement well. Was also very respectful and made a couple jokes here and there.

Vivint security system is working properly and looks on the building is very professional. The work was well done, technician explained process and help understand what we might need considering our location and building. Don't do business with this company. I was a customer for 7 years and all they did was keep trying to upsell me. They charge 100 dollars for a repair visit. When I notified them in writing that I was canceling my service, they said we nt me an email that my cancellation had not been "approved". They continued to change me 100 dollars monthly fee on my cr we did card. Only when I went to the Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau did they credit me back 6 months worth of fees and cease charging me. Utah Attorney General's Office is the only way to go with these people.

Assumed equipment from previous owners, appointment was needed due to a hard reset of the system and purchase of battery that was lost. Vivint tech appointment was made asap. Scheduled later in the day to help with my schedule. Tech was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Tech completed all necessary checks, linked all sensors and delivered a great product. Very happy with system.

I have dealt with all departments I believe, and they all have been very knowledgeable and helpful. I have called the support line and the wait wasn’t long at all to speak with a representative. I like the quality of the equipment and all the features you can take advantage of.

My beginning with Vivint has not been seamless. Tech problems still not resolved. Also, the installation may be the cause of my home landline phone issue. I have to have an Xfinity tech come to the house. It may cost me a service fee. It has been very disappointing to us.

Service was great and efficient. Just moved to Texas and the Vivint System was already installed so I decided to stay with it. Glad I did! Employees were very knowledgeable of their equipment. Took the time to explain the system and how to work it. Gave me a genuine feeling that they were concerned for my safety and wanted me to feel safe in my new home!

3 hours to install and program. Cameras are excellent. Install very experienced and informative on user operating needs. Sale well versed and knowledgeable about the product. Hey guys. I was skeptical about getting this alarm system but I’m happy to report I am very satisfied with my whole process!!! The representative who I talked to over the phone whose name was Chris was awesome with telling me about pricing and equipment. Then he was able to get me a same day appointment, really but he did it. The tech came out to my house around 3pm and he explained in detail what he was going to do and was just as nice as Chris. I promise you guys this whole process was not stressful at all. You guys need to call Vivint security system to get yours. It’s affordable, they will explain what plan they have for you and make it happen.

The installation was quick and easy. Denzel did a great job of describing the different parts of the system and how they would be installed. Everything was installed and working within a few hours and have had no issues. My wife feels much safer since we got the system installed and I’m glad we got the Vivint system.

Vivint maybe good in what it is doing but, in my case, the story was bad. I made the mistake of my life to sign up with them for a service I did not really need but to try it. But to get out of it, it is a nightmare... Spent couple months trying to convince them that they are mixing my account with the house ex owner account, and they do their best not to understand and keep stealing my money. At the end when we came to agreement that I need to fill a cancellation request form and send it to them, I did and 6 months later they were still stealing money quietly like a little thieves.

The employees I talked to were very patient wlth me. The gentleman who installed my system also took time to explain the security system. I have tried several, Vivint is the one my family and friends use. It’s amazing how the cameras were installed with no electric lines showing. Thank you very much.

Everything as far as salesman was wonderful. The only thing I have to complain about was the install took a lot longer than what needed to be the gentleman that did the install did the best he could do, but the time was very late other than that, it’s really a good experience.

The conversation I had over the phone with Cory was different from what I actually received on my account. I was under the impression that I was getting what I asked for but I found out that I didn’t. The whole reason I chose Vivint was because I liked the smart lock and the cameras in and out. I DO NOT HAVE EITHER OF THE FEATURES THAT I ORIGINALLY WANTED. The only reason my rating is a 4 is because my technician was very nice and patient with me while I demanded explanation on the equipment and fees.

We received poor service after our equipment was installed. Jorde was very rude via text messages. I tried to cancel within the time allowed cause we were having problems and if we're having problems that early on I did not want to be stuck with a bill for years for poor equipment and service. He did it. Does not work like that and every time we call customer service they say it's updating. I would rather stayed with ADT.

All outside doors of our home including garage are monitored - Three outside cameras sense potential intruders and alert you. Sensor adjacent to fire alarms will call local fire department in event of a house fire. Vivint was advertise as a great company with high overall customer satisfaction. I felt like the sales person was a bit rough on the phone. I of course stood my ground and we played tug-a-war for a bit. I ended up signing up with Vivint because I was able to negotiate a good price, not because he did a great job. His name is Eric **. Also, my technician Moises left a mess on the house. There were boxes left in my kitchen from the equipment. There were dust left all over the ground. He could have done a better job cleaning it.

I had a line of credit set up for Vivint with another company and did not realize it. However they decided to go into my checking account and take the full over $1800.00 even with the line of credit. They also decided to set me up on two different lines of credit because I purchased a couple more cameras. The sales person came out to inform me that the cameras were outdated and needed to upgrade. I should've done more research before agreeing. However I already had a line of credit and they ran my credit and set up an additional line of credit.

It went really well and very smoothly. Kyle was professional and informative. No pressure. I’d highly recommend Vivint. Good communication between their phone rep and installer. The cost of the equipment was reasonable and the monthly servicing fee was half that of adt and even less expensive than the three other companies we compared. We felt good about our decision to go with Vivint.

Absolutely the shadiest, dirty, underhanded, worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is beyond atrocious. All they care about is money. DO NOT USE! They lied about how they would transfer our service, they required us to pay for service at an address we were no longer at, told us we had to pay for new equipment at our new address even tho they told us to leave our equipment at our old address, equipment we’ve also had to continue paying on and when I called to cancel, they charged me $167.86 to cancel but never canceled the service and continued to bill me. They are thieves! Do not use them. Do not trust them. They do not care about existing customers.

The tech that came over to install the equipment was very polite and patient with me. He explained everything I needed to know and went over it as many times as I needed. He was also very accessible after the installation and helped me to trouble shoot and fine tune the system. I would highly recommend Keron (my tech). Customer service was a problem. I called several times and they said it was too busy to call back later. You can chat with them but it’s difficult to convey what’s going on without having an actual verbal conversation. Now I just have to see what happens when there’s an actual incident at the house.

I had my install today. I am a returning customer of Vivint. The 2 Techs, Al and Trevor were on time, very courteous, professional and knowledgeable about their job. They were at my house for about 9 hours, as this was a big job. Worked hard and efficient the entire time. All of the techs I have ever had come to my house in the past have been the same way. The quality of the equipment is great and easy to use.

****BEWARE.**** Read the fine print of your contract. I signed a 60-month contract under the impression that it was for payment of the equipment. I paid my equipment off and I tried to cancel service but they're telling me that I still have 4 years left and will have to pay $1500 dollars to terminate.

We purchased a new security system and had it installed. The service and equipment has been great from the start, all the way through the completed installation and training! Pleased with installation. Next day got a message that there was a low battery on one of the sensors. 45 minutes using the chat for tech service. Very poor quality assistance. They finally had me sign out to reboot the app, which of course disconnected the chat without resolving the issue. Tried calling the 1-800 #. A woman couldn’t help saying it was a “MyQ” issue and not her problem. Gave me another 1-800 #, which ended up being for the MyQ medic alert and they couldn’t help with the sensor. I called back the Vivint 1-800# and got a different tech who could not see any notice regarding a low battery. Not too impressed with customer service.

I really liked my experience with this company! The technician was super informative and straightforward with the setup and the technicality of it. I was thrown off guard with the final price due to the insurance charge and other little things. Even then when I asked about it they were able to let me know what those charges were.

System needed reboot, panel was busted and did not respond to touch.ehe. The service tech named Ryan assessed the situation for everything and determined issue could be fixed. He then proceeded to get the system up and running and did an explained how the system worked. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Awful. Horrible install job, lousy customer service and no way to get out of the contract now unless I die. I've been asking them to cancel only to be constantly sent to different people and no actual email where I can send a formal cancellation letter. The technician who installed our system was 20 years old and obviously doesn't own a home. He drilled straight into our exterior brick and our siding to install the cameras. He also left everything exposed - all of the wires are just hanging out of the wall. Now we have to pay thousands of dollars for this equipment and our home is forever damaged until we can fix it, not to mention, this looks like an amateur who has no experience completed the job. The system constantly freezes up or has to be rebooted. This happens at least once a day. We have asked for someone to come out to fix this only to be told we have to pay a technician to come out. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The Tech just put in my system. The tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions very confidently. The picture on the camera are very clear. I’m excited to have the doorbell camera and having a camera over my driveway. After having my car broke into it’s a relief to have a deterrent. I’m looking forward to continued use of the system.

Everything went well. Thankfully I wasn’t charged a lot for materials since I already had the cameras. Vivint is a very professional company and install went smooth. The panel is easily accessible but hidden for us from customer view. I will continue to use Vivint for the next 60 months. I now feel more safe about my business from the potential security risks of being on a busy street. Thanks Vivint team!

Technician Jonathon was extremely professional, helpful, and courteous. We had a large system install that included several cameras, door bell cameras and sensors. My wife and I are very happy with the installation process Jonathon conducted today. I would recommend Vivint and specifically Jonathon for any future work on our property. I was not pleased with setting up the payment because I made several attempts and still had to switch to another department. But overall their customer service and activation specialist were patient and helpful. Although there were some offsets with the activation process, the specialist made it simple and understandable.

The sales person, Devon **, was very thorough in explaining the product, spent time explaining the different add-ons and walked me through the process. He also handled the process for the gift card, saving me the from having to do it. The installer (sorry I don't recall his name) was quick and mindful to our home. He showed how to operate the system from the control screen. The program is extremely easy, especially using the app on my phone. I would definitely recommend Vivint for home security.

Quality installation, reasonable price. Ability to cater a system design to meet your needs. I was pleased with their service and installation at my home. All questions were answered by the technician and system was installed in a timely manner. The walk through of the system and its capabilities were discussed and demonstrated very clearly which was super appreciated. Even at the end of the demonstration, there was enough time to ask anything additional and I feel very confident in the system and my safety.

The salesman was very professional as was the installer. Very nice. Taught me everything I needed to know. So far I’m happy. Had a bad experience with y’all once before salesman convinced me y’all have changed. I was called this morning by my sales person to make sure everything was going well. So far so good. Mike was informative on every subject and answered every question that I had. Installation was very structured and did not take long at all. I am super excited to have a security system all in one. I can control it from my phone or the iPad that was provided with the installation package. I will totally recommend Vivint to my neighbors and friends in the future.

The sales rep fraudulently signed me up for a Fortiva credit card and lied about my information to get me approved. Then he lied about extending my return date and refused to return the equipment. Not one single person has been helpful and I fully regret this purchase. I have filed a report to the Better Business Bureau.

Vivint Alarm installation was great. Straightforward install with a great system and customer service. Hardware is modern and well connected to other devices, cell phones, thermostat etc. Installer was great, fast and courteous. I would recommend Vivint Alarm/Security System to friends and family. Very happy we went with them and feel well protected with our new system.

Really appreciated the support of our tech who came to our home and got everything set up. Went through the options and helped us problem solve - phenomenal service. We had a system in our home when we bought it and our tech helped us figure out how it was installed, what was still working and how we could best utilize all of the options available to us.

On August 21, 2024, Maya **, a salesperson for Vivint security systems knocked on my 80 something year old parent’s door. They were interested in changing security companies so wanted to hear what she had to offer. We were rushed through the process and not given the opportunity of sleeping on it and researching if we wanted a "better deal." Installation started at 7:30 pm, less than an hour after signing the documents. I left at 9 returning at 10:30pm to find the installer still there and refusing to leave until we signed a 5 year contract. Maya had told us we did not have to sign a contract, that it would be month-to-month. We were also told Vivint would buyout our active security service contract. So in duress they signed the contract so they could finally go to bed.

Installation was amazing. Got a text with the time frame I side the window. Moises was kind and answered all my questions. Overall seamless. Camera installation was discussed and perfect location was made. Glass break locations also discussed and installed in the best locations for my home. Testing of system was easy.

The most helpful and cooperative pair of folks I spoke to. So knowledgeable and patient answering all my questions. Giving the best advice for the circumstances I am under. Home appointment was on time. Sent multiple texts to confirm phone call prior to let me know he was on his way. Cleaned after. Excellent in demonstrating how the panel worked. Just simply fantastic.

I had a misleading salesperson tell me I could get discounted items on my purchase and after hearing that the company was better since being purchased by this company that upgraded its equipment and didn't have the problems they had in the past. All wrong. I had tried Vivint 5yrs previous and had so much trouble with the system that I cancelled purchase before 30 days. There is not enough room and waste of my time to recount the troubles that i've had. Main one is unit will always work. Nay Nay Power outages which I had 4 recently, After 1st one it took over an hr and a half to get unit working again.Their helpline is not experienced enough to resolve problems, so I was transferred to a person who walks you through fixing problem through their directions over the phone. In reality they use you to fix problems. That's just a start.

I will recommend this company to all my friends and family members. Brandon the technician he did an excellent job. He work alone hours with no break, no lunch but he never quit. Excellent job Brandon. I hope this review will help you a lot and thank you for everything.
