Don't do business with this company. I was a customer for 7 years and all they did was keep trying to upsell me. They charge 100 dollars for a repair visit. When I notified them in writing that I was canceling my service, they said we nt me an email that my cancellation had not been "approved". They continued to change me 100 dollars monthly fee on my cr we did card. Only when I went to the Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau did they credit me back 6 months worth of fees and cease charging me. Utah Attorney General's Office is the only way to go with these people.

Assumed equipment from previous owners, appointment was needed due to a hard reset of the system and purchase of battery that was lost. Vivint tech appointment was made asap. Scheduled later in the day to help with my schedule. Tech was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Tech completed all necessary checks, linked all sensors and delivered a great product. Very happy with system.

I have dealt with all departments I believe, and they all have been very knowledgeable and helpful. I have called the support line and the wait wasn’t long at all to speak with a representative. I like the quality of the equipment and all the features you can take advantage of.

Installers were very professional. Things were done completely and nicely. All done in a timely fashion and very quick response to desire to have a security system. Would recommend installers to anyone looking for a system. All work was done nicely and efficiency. Nest all work cleaned up, no messy leftovers

Alex is a rockstar. He had a hard time finding my address, but he never lost his patience. It took him probably 15 minutes to find me but once he did, he came in with a smile on his face. He greeted me and he was patient every step of the way, even with all the hiccups he showed me how to do everything answered all my questions and he shook my hand on his way out and was nothing but polite and kind to me and my daughter. You have an amazing employee and he deserves everything good that’s coming to him. Thank you so much for your help.

The tech was great and knowledgeable, took the time to give you an understanding of the system and how it works. Cleaned up the mess and was pleasant, well mannered, made my experience with the tech easy and could understand everything. I have no complaints at all at this time

Anthony was an amazing. He was so helpful and did great work. App is easy to use and easy to figure out. He went over everything with us and answered all our questions. Right from the start all the service was amazing. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Very happy with Vivint.

My beginning with Vivint has not been seamless. Tech problems still not resolved. Also, the installation may be the cause of my home landline phone issue. I have to have an Xfinity tech come to the house. It may cost me a service fee. It has been very disappointing to us.

Service was great and efficient. Just moved to Texas and the Vivint System was already installed so I decided to stay with it. Glad I did! Employees were very knowledgeable of their equipment. Took the time to explain the system and how to work it. Gave me a genuine feeling that they were concerned for my safety and wanted me to feel safe in my new home!

3 hours to install and program. Cameras are excellent. Install very experienced and informative on user operating needs. Sale well versed and knowledgeable about the product. Follow up is yet to be determined. Thus far I am satisfied with the product. Love the flood light with the cameras. It helps during night time as a deterrent to unwanted visitors.

First of all, Christian went above and beyond with the installation and ensuring that I made informed choices. I would recommend him 200%! The system is easy to use and the app is very convenient. Our technician was attentive to our needs. He completed a clean installation and was very knowledgeable about the alarm system. Hey guys. I was skeptical about getting this alarm system but I’m happy to report I am very satisfied with my whole process!!! The representative who I talked to over the phone whose name was Chris was awesome with telling me about pricing and equipment. Then he was able to get me a same day appointment, really but he did it. The tech came out to my house around 3pm and he explained in detail what he was going to do and was just as nice as Chris. I promise you guys this whole process was not stressful at all. You guys need to call Vivint security system to get yours. It’s affordable, they will explain what plan they have for you and make it happen.

The installation was quick and easy. Denzel did a great job of describing the different parts of the system and how they would be installed. Everything was installed and working within a few hours and have had no issues. My wife feels much safer since we got the system installed and I’m glad we got the Vivint system.

Vivint maybe good in what it is doing but, in my case, the story was bad. I made the mistake of my life to sign up with them for a service I did not really need but to try it. But to get out of it, it is a nightmare... Spent couple months trying to convince them that they are mixing my account with the house ex owner account, and they do their best not to understand and keep stealing my money. At the end when we came to agreement that I need to fill a cancellation request form and send it to them, I did and 6 months later they were still stealing money quietly like a little thieves.

The employees I talked to were very patient wlth me. The gentleman who installed my system also took time to explain the security system. I have tried several, Vivint is the one my family and friends use. It’s amazing how the cameras were installed with no electric lines showing. Thank you very much.

He was very helpful. He was in and out. The process was really quick. He explained everything very well, he's professional about it, very polite. The system seems to be working really smoothly. Everything as far as salesman was wonderful. The only thing I have to complain about was the install took a lot longer than what needed to be the gentleman that did the install did the best he could do, but the time was very late other than that, it’s really a good experience.

The conversation I had over the phone with Cory was different from what I actually received on my account. I was under the impression that I was getting what I asked for but I found out that I didn’t. The whole reason I chose Vivint was because I liked the smart lock and the cameras in and out. I DO NOT HAVE EITHER OF THE FEATURES THAT I ORIGINALLY WANTED. The only reason my rating is a 4 is because my technician was very nice and patient with me while I demanded explanation on the equipment and fees.

My experience with Vivint was excellent. Installer was efficient and explained how to use the security system perfectly and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend vivint to anyone who is looking for a security system. I feel much safer now in my new home. Installer made sure all the windows and doors were properly secured.

Our local Vivint expert was awesome! Installed everything easily, taught us everything about the system and even let us keep in contact with him just in case we have any issues or concerns. Awesome dude! He also offered to come back to our place once we get WiFi inside the household.

We received poor service after our equipment was installed. Jorde was very rude via text messages. I tried to cancel within the time allowed cause we were having problems and if we're having problems that early on I did not want to be stuck with a bill for years for poor equipment and service. He did it. Does not work like that and every time we call customer service they say it's updating. I would rather stayed with ADT.

My field technician Derrick was Awesome. Derrick displayed such professionalism, very polite, willing to explain the process, and answered all questions they was needed. Derrick was very knowledgeable when it came to all the company policies and guidelines. Derrick was a joy to meet. I would like to thank Vivint for being a reliable company that make my home feel safe for me and my family.

We had a Vivint system installed today by Summer and Kristen. What a fabulous team. Summer was here first and went through the whole process before the installation. Both Summer and Kristen were extremely professional and polite and did a great job. Summer explained how the system worked from beginning to end and left us with no questions. The team made sure everything was working to our satisfaction and made sure we knew how to get in contact if we had any questions or issues.

The technician was extremely thorough, helpful, and knowledgeable. He took time to make sure I understood how to work the security system. He answered all of my questions and made sure that the job was done well. I would definitely recommend this service and technician in the future. I look forward to working with them again.

I have experienced good customer service with others before, but the service we received with our technician was excellent. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. The young man who came to install our new system was very professional, polite, on time, and very knowledgeable. He took his time explaining everything and didn’t take long at all to have us up and running. System is very easy to use. Equipment seems to be great quality.

Sales person was amazing, very friendly and she knew everything about her business. Elena **, she helped out a lot in this decision. She showed us all the equipment and recommended the equipment we would need for our property. Being that my neighborhood has had a lot of vandalism in the past week, and my vehicle has been broken into approximately 10 time within the last 20 years. This is really going to be a game changer for us. Now we can feel safer in our neighborhood. Friendly installers and very quick and efficient.

All outside doors of our home including garage are monitored - Three outside cameras sense potential intruders and alert you. Sensor adjacent to fire alarms will call local fire department in event of a house fire. I would highly recommend this system to anyone that wants to not only feel safe in home and also when leaving home on an extended vacation.

They did a great job and explained every step of the installation of my security system. Dale the technician and Saye of customer service were excellent and very helpful. The people were very friendly and quick with the installation. I gave 4 stars I may because the workers did not ask if they needed to cover their shoes before walking into my home on my almost white floors. Other than that I am happy with my cameras and install.

Vivint was advertise as a great company with high overall customer satisfaction. I felt like the sales person was a bit rough on the phone. I of course stood my ground and we played tug-a-war for a bit. I ended up signing up with Vivint because I was able to negotiate a good price, not because he did a great job. His name is Eric **. Also, my technician Moises left a mess on the house. There were boxes left in my kitchen from the equipment. There were dust left all over the ground. He could have done a better job cleaning it.

David was expressively professional and explained in detail about the product, installation and service options. I really enjoyed his presentation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and its services based upon the character of David. He was also very punctual.

I sold my home 1 yr ago and I left my equipment in the old home. I just recently purchased a new home and I had to upgrade my security system with Vivint! My installation technician was awesome and very knowledgeable about ALL Vivint’s products. I had him install cameras, smoke detectors, door locks, and motion sensors. His name was Ricardo. Thanks.

Lead tech, Mr. Cody ** answered questions (despite his excessive flatulence and explosive diarrhea) and Mr. Lando ** was the epitome of grace, competence, and professionalism. Evan, our installation person, was very good, efficient, and thoughtful. He converted our old system to Vivint without any trouble and made a number of improvements, He included improvements without prompting and worked hard to make everything easy to manage. I think we will feel much safer now. So for all looks great.

I had a line of credit set up for Vivint with another company and did not realize it. However they decided to go into my checking account and take the full over $1800.00 even with the line of credit. They also decided to set me up on two different lines of credit because I purchased a couple more cameras. The sales person came out to inform me that the cameras were outdated and needed to upgrade. I should've done more research before agreeing. However I already had a line of credit and they ran my credit and set up an additional line of credit.

It went really well and very smoothly. Kyle was professional and informative. No pressure. I’d highly recommend Vivint. Good communication between their phone rep and installer. The cost of the equipment was reasonable and the monthly servicing fee was half that of adt and even less expensive than the three other companies we compared. We felt good about our decision to go with Vivint.

Absolutely the shadiest, dirty, underhanded, worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is beyond atrocious. All they care about is money. DO NOT USE! They lied about how they would transfer our service, they required us to pay for service at an address we were no longer at, told us we had to pay for new equipment at our new address even tho they told us to leave our equipment at our old address, equipment we’ve also had to continue paying on and when I called to cancel, they charged me $167.86 to cancel but never canceled the service and continued to bill me. They are thieves! Do not use them. Do not trust them. They do not care about existing customers.

I have recommended Vivint to many many people. The panel and sensors work very well. My car alarm. I love because it lets me know if someone touches my car. I recommend that to anyone.

Excellent customer service. The technician was fast and efficient and knowledgeable and the installation was quick and easy. And the system is very advanced and appears to be very easy to use and effective. The company offered various excellent options for me to effectively set up my alarm system and protect all of my assets. I think this system will keep my home and myself safe from burglars and thieves

The tech that came over to install the equipment was very polite and patient with me. He explained everything I needed to know and went over it as many times as I needed. He was also very accessible after the installation and helped me to trouble shoot and fine tune the system. I would highly recommend Keron (my tech). Customer service was a problem. I called several times and they said it was too busy to call back later. You can chat with them but it’s difficult to convey what’s going on without having an actual verbal conversation. Now I just have to see what happens when there’s an actual incident at the house.

I had my install today. I am a returning customer of Vivint. The 2 Techs, Al and Trevor were on time, very courteous, professional and knowledgeable about their job. They were at my house for about 9 hours, as this was a big job. Worked hard and efficient the entire time. All of the techs I have ever had come to my house in the past have been the same way. The quality of the equipment is great and easy to use.

I totally love the alarm the cameras, the clarity, the safety the system brings to my home. Thank you guys so much. I would totally recommend this to a friend and anyone reading this. I moved from one state to another, and this system has made me feel comfortable in more ways than one. I can watch my home while I’m away and protect it from anywhere. I choose to go that’s a big plus for me and my family.

I am very satisfied with my new Vivint system. Alex did a great job at thoroughly explaining how everything works to me and answering all of my questions. Alex also worked efficiently and helped me choose the best location for the camera and door sensors. I would recommend this system to anyone.

****BEWARE.**** Read the fine print of your contract. I signed a 60-month contract under the impression that it was for payment of the equipment. I paid my equipment off and I tried to cancel service but they're telling me that I still have 4 years left and will have to pay $1500 dollars to terminate.

We purchased a new security system and had it installed. The service and equipment has been great from the start, all the way through the completed installation and training! The products are what we expected. The installer was on time, performed a great service, and was very nice and hospitable! Great job all the way around!

Ryan with Vivint was super friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Having a tech with 13 years of experience with the same company made me feel safe and secure in my decision to go with Vivint. Would definitely rec this company and would use them again if I moved. They even have cameras.

Dusten installed my Vivint home security system with complete professionalism. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and treated the installation as if he were securing his own home. I couldn’t have asked for a better technician. The entire experience, both over the phone and in person, was outstanding. I highly recommend Vivint’s service, and I am thoroughly satisfied with the level of professionalism displayed.

Pleased with installation. Next day got a message that there was a low battery on one of the sensors. 45 minutes using the chat for tech service. Very poor quality assistance. They finally had me sign out to reboot the app, which of course disconnected the chat without resolving the issue. Tried calling the 1-800 #. A woman couldn’t help saying it was a “MyQ” issue and not her problem. Gave me another 1-800 #, which ended up being for the MyQ medic alert and they couldn’t help with the sensor. I called back the Vivint 1-800# and got a different tech who could not see any notice regarding a low battery. Not too impressed with customer service.

I really liked my experience with this company! The technician was super informative and straightforward with the setup and the technicality of it. I was thrown off guard with the final price due to the insurance charge and other little things. Even then when I asked about it they were able to let me know what those charges were.

System needed reboot, panel was busted and did not respond to touch.ehe. The service tech named Ryan assessed the situation for everything and determined issue could be fixed. He then proceeded to get the system up and running and did an explained how the system worked. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Appreciate the excellent customer service and would recommend to others looking for a security system.

Very satisfied. Just wish the money side of things was explained a little better. As a young person trying to figure things out I found it a little confusing. Part of that is on me not asking questions. Just hard when you don’t know what to ask being your first time. All in all I’m still very satisfied with the installation and the security it brings me.

Both equipment installation tech and salesman were great and professionals. Very knowledgeable and efficient. I’m techie so I really understood a lot. I appreciate the hand on run thru of equipment and rekeying of keypad. Salesman was knowledgeable but I'm into tech so I was able to understand and did know a little more but he did great. I was already looking into switching earlier this year and researched Vivint.

Awful. Horrible install job, lousy customer service and no way to get out of the contract now unless I die. I've been asking them to cancel only to be constantly sent to different people and no actual email where I can send a formal cancellation letter. The technician who installed our system was 20 years old and obviously doesn't own a home. He drilled straight into our exterior brick and our siding to install the cameras. He also left everything exposed - all of the wires are just hanging out of the wall. Now we have to pay thousands of dollars for this equipment and our home is forever damaged until we can fix it, not to mention, this looks like an amateur who has no experience completed the job. The system constantly freezes up or has to be rebooted. This happens at least once a day. We have asked for someone to come out to fix this only to be told we have to pay a technician to come out. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The Tech just put in my system. The tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions very confidently. The picture on the camera are very clear. I’m excited to have the doorbell camera and having a camera over my driveway. After having my car broke into it’s a relief to have a deterrent. I’m looking forward to continued use of the system.

Everything went well. Thankfully I wasn’t charged a lot for materials since I already had the cameras. Vivint is a very professional company and install went smooth. The panel is easily accessible but hidden for us from customer view. I will continue to use Vivint for the next 60 months. I now feel more safe about my business from the potential security risks of being on a busy street. Thanks Vivint team!

Technician Jonathon was extremely professional, helpful, and courteous. We had a large system install that included several cameras, door bell cameras and sensors. My wife and I are very happy with the installation process Jonathon conducted today. I would recommend Vivint and specifically Jonathon for any future work on our property. Jonathon needs recognition for his work today.

I was not pleased with setting up the payment because I made several attempts and still had to switch to another department. But overall their customer service and activation specialist were patient and helpful. Although there were some offsets with the activation process, the specialist made it simple and understandable.

The sales person, Devon **, was very thorough in explaining the product, spent time explaining the different add-ons and walked me through the process. He also handled the process for the gift card, saving me the from having to do it. The installer (sorry I don't recall his name) was quick and mindful to our home. He showed how to operate the system from the control screen. The program is extremely easy, especially using the app on my phone. I would definitely recommend Vivint for home security.

Quality installation, reasonable price. Ability to cater a system design to meet your needs. I was pleased with their service and installation at my home. All questions were answered by the technician and system was installed in a timely manner. The walk through of the system and its capabilities were discussed and demonstrated very clearly which was super appreciated. Even at the end of the demonstration, there was enough time to ask anything additional and I feel very confident in the system and my safety.

The salesman was very professional as was the installer. Very nice. Taught me everything I needed to know. So far I’m happy. Had a bad experience with y’all once before salesman convinced me y’all have changed. I was called this morning by my sales person to make sure everything was going well. So far so good. Mike was informative on every subject and answered every question that I had. Installation was very structured and did not take long at all. I am super excited to have a security system all in one. I can control it from my phone or the iPad that was provided with the installation package. I will totally recommend Vivint to my neighbors and friends in the future.

The sales rep fraudulently signed me up for a Fortiva credit card and lied about my information to get me approved. Then he lied about extending my return date and refused to return the equipment. Not one single person has been helpful and I fully regret this purchase. I have filed a report to the Better Business Bureau.

Vivint Alarm installation was great. Straightforward install with a great system and customer service. Hardware is modern and well connected to other devices, cell phones, thermostat etc. Installer was great, fast and courteous. I would recommend Vivint Alarm/Security System to friends and family. Very happy we went with them and feel well protected with our new system.

I am extremely happy with my services as my technician, Bryan T. was very professional, knowledgeable, and walked me through the entire process. Much appreciated as he made this new transition easy. Really appreciated the support of our tech who came to our home and got everything set up. Went through the options and helped us problem solve - phenomenal service. We had a system in our home when we bought it and our tech helped us figure out how it was installed, what was still working and how we could best utilize all of the options available to us.

On August 21, 2024, Maya **, a salesperson for Vivint security systems knocked on my 80 something year old parent’s door. They were interested in changing security companies so wanted to hear what she had to offer. We were rushed through the process and not given the opportunity of sleeping on it and researching if we wanted a "better deal." Installation started at 7:30 pm, less than an hour after signing the documents. I left at 9 returning at 10:30pm to find the installer still there and refusing to leave until we signed a 5 year contract. Maya had told us we did not have to sign a contract, that it would be month-to-month. We were also told Vivint would buyout our active security service contract. So in duress they signed the contract so they could finally go to bed.

Installation was amazing. Got a text with the time frame I side the window. Moises was kind and answered all my questions. Overall seamless. Camera installation was discussed and perfect location was made. Glass break locations also discussed and installed in the best locations for my home. Testing of system was easy.

I had a misleading salesperson tell me I could get discounted items on my purchase and after hearing that the company was better since being purchased by this company that upgraded its equipment and didn't have the problems they had in the past. All wrong. I had tried Vivint 5yrs previous and had so much trouble with the system that I cancelled purchase before 30 days. There is not enough room and waste of my time to recount the troubles that i've had. Main one is unit will always work. Nay Nay Power outages which I had 4 recently, After 1st one it took over an hr and a half to get unit working again.Their helpline is not experienced enough to resolve problems, so I was transferred to a person who walks you through fixing problem through their directions over the phone. In reality they use you to fix problems. That's just a start.

Multiple problems getting installer to show up and let me know he was here. Second day of taking off work. I meet with installer who explains the package which was not at all what I signed up for but somehow the same price. Had to show my confirmation receipt to be taken seriously and then it was a big issue of getting it agreed to be done. Of course to get what I originally agreed to cost more than the original price. Installer "finishes" all work and informs me he had only brought what he was told (not what I wanted) and someone else would have to come out and finish the work. There is no schedule for when this is supposed to happen at this point.

First customer service experience to get a quote was a little bit bumpy as I was not ready to sign up, but they were pushing to set up a date Installation. The second time I called, the customer service was better and gave me a great deal. Installation process was easy and efficient. The tech explained the equipment And was friendly.

Decided to get a ring doorbell and cameras, only, at 7 pm. No pressure to do anything more, which I appreciate. Installer came right out and was done in 2 hours. Showed us how everything works and was very polite and professional. Would definitely recommend them. I like the fact that if I want to add more, later, I can.

Don't waste your money, the service is horrible. I'm calling the company at least once a month as the system shuts down. My front door will unlock on its own and then relock. I can never view my cameras when I'm home. I always get either a black screen for the spinning wheel. So anytime someone is at my door I cannot see or talk to them. I always call the company to address my issues especially about not being able to see my cameras when I'm home and they can never help me. This service is supposed to be for me to feel safe and secure which I don't, I think I feel more unsafe knowing my front door can unlock at any time especially if I'm not home.

Everyone that I spoke to at Vivint was super friendly and nice. They really made me feel like I was a valued customer. My installation technician Daniel was amazing. He was thorough. Detailed. Made sure I knew what I was getting into and really made the process pretty easy and comfortable.

He also ensured I knew how to use all of the features of my new system and made himself available to assist in the future with any issues that may arise. Addressed all concerns and the Installation and service was not rushed. The equipment used was above par and didn’t look cheap. The inservice following installation was very good and any questions I had were addressed. The lifetime warranty and local support that’s available with Vivint was greatly appreciated. My installation professional was great. It said install takes 3-4 hours but she was done with everything including educating me on how everything works in about 1.5 hours. My internet didn’t have the appropriate speed for my cameras and she been told me what to do about that with my WiFi provider and now I’m all set. She was friendly, but professional with a great personality. She let me ask as many questions as needed and she didn’t leave until I was comfortable. I have her work phone number and she told me I could call her at any time with any questions so I wouldn’t have to wait on hold calling the toll free number. Now, that’s great customer service. I now feel safe with my new system and I couldn’t have asked for a better service professional to come out to my house. If I ever move, this equipment is going with me and I want Shannon back to install it!!

I was a Vivint customer for over 7 years. Sadly I must say how horrible this company treated us. My husband is veteran with some health issues. I myself have heart issues and problems with walking and other body functions. With this being said, every time over the last 7 years I asked them to come fix the issues and get our cameras working they declined. I’d ask for a tech they would tell me I’d have to hoop jump, I told them countless times I’ve rebooted the system (over the 7years doing this monthly, I don’t need to be told how to do it) they would tell me I must do this over the phone with me. I’d say can you just send a tech, it’s the panel. It’s been the panel every single time! (I’ve worked for security companies I know how this goes and what absolutely has to be done) Vivint would not send out techs!

The salesman was patient and courteous. There was a little misunderstanding when I elected to verify the validity of the business before surrendering my SSN, but after explaining how often I receive training in the protection of PPI, he completely understood. He even admitted that he had learned something from the experience.

The technician who installed my system was great. He worked around my work schedule and waited for me to get home from work to show me how to use my system. He also installed a thermostat which I had requested at the time or install. So I would give the installer and the system 10 out 10

On 08/22/2024 a Vivint sale’s person came to my house. He told me Vivint would give me a gift card to pay off the security contract I had. So I agreed to get Vivint. I still haven’t gotten the gift card. I am now paying 2 security contracts. Please don’t trust Vivint.

For about 2 years your company pursued my business. Salesman said my current sensors are good. Installer ignored 1 sensor even though I pointed it out several times. Now none are responsive and neither is the salesman to my texts on what to do.

The Technician knew what he was doing. He was very polite, friendly and did a good job. It is just a matter of getting used to the system. The system equipment and the monthly monitoring plan are twice as much as my previous provider but this company has good reviews.

I was very pleased with the setup experience. I reached out on Friday afternoon and my system was setup by Tuesday morning. The unit seems user friendly and easy to navigate so far. The sales and tech guys were exceptional and answered all questions. The cost was reasonable and equipment is nice. They really worked to customize options for what I needed.

I am very pleased with my new install I received. The representative was very kind and informative. He was patient and did not try to upsell products I do not need. I recommend Vivint services. The products and app are quality and user-friendly. If you have more than one property, there is a feature in the app to add multiple locations as long as the email address is the same for the account holder. I was able to add a picture of my multiple properties to ensure I am checking the correct location each time. That was a very nice touch.

I called Vivint to get information and ended up getting their service and equipment. I was worried about the coverage of their camera since they recommended only one for the front and my home sits on a curved road making my home kinda of wide and curved as well. I was told not to worry that the technician installing the equipment could add any additional cameras needed if need be. When the technician arrived he noticed the issue and tried to add the camera to my account but gave a total that did not match the initial quote if I were to add the camera when I spoke to the sales rep. The technician then removed the camera and gave me different total than I was quoted for the equipment that was going to get installed originally. He finally got it sorted out and finished his work.

Thank you, all your service was amazing and the guy there were very kind. And spreading everything to me with the app in my phone and how to change the pin or password, in the app or my phone. Thanks for everything and thanks to the guy who made everything possible to show me and help me get the app in my phone and do my profile.

I don’t feel I was told the truth about the prices of cameras. I received none of the complimentary things I was told about. I added a door lock upon installation and was told I would pay it with my three down payment finance payments, but I was actually charged 5 minutes after the technician left. I am actually doubting my decision. Honey I’m Not happy. I feel like I was bamboozled and fast talked into it all. The technician was good though!

I’ve been calling and calling and No One is returning my calls. I had a service call last month. All of a sudden my bill jumped from $40 to $106. I asked how was this possible. The representative claimed I added a DVR to my account. I stated, I didn’t add anything. He’s literally arguing with me to the point I ask to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor is saying the same thing. I ask him to look at my account and explain to me when I supposedly ordered a DVR. He places me on hold and then states, “This is strange, there’s no DVR on your account.” Then he states he has to speak to someone in billing to clear the matter up.

First and foremost. Vivint is reasonable. Been with them over 13 years. The people you deal with customer service. They do a really good job. Ask you so many questions that it makes it seem like they care. Gentlemen named Anthony, who set my new home up respectable. Felt like he was very honest.

Came to install on a Monday, installer couldn’t finish said will be back tomorrow Tuesday at 2:00. Never showed up, no call no text, no call or text the next day to keep us updated. Finally coming 4 days later, they said they were busy with other installations, really what about finishing ours, unacceptable.

This account was transferred and I just moved into this home and I was trying to tell the lady that I was getting error messages and she was insistent that I make my payment and then she would send me to troubleshooting. The troubleshooting person was very good but it turns out there was a piece missing off of the front door which I’m gonna be charged $50. It will take at least a week for it to get here yet. I’m being charged for the system effective today. No one walked me through how to use the system so even when it starts, I’m not sure I’ll be able to use it until I go back on and spend another two hours with someone to try to go through that.

Very nice and understandable. Made me feel very comfortable. At first I told them I didn’t want it but they just didn’t stop talking to me and I didn’t want to give them my credit card but after they made me feel comfortable I was like alright I’ll do it. I have had a bad experience with giving out my credit cards number, was really hard but They made me feel like it was worth it. Was given a quote and a receipt for the quote and first payment when the text arrived whom was great by the way. We called to try and understand why my paperwork was different. And the associate was a lil rude. Just make sure you ask questions as I’m going over the contract it was not what we discussed the day before glad I have 30 to cancel

Tech was fast and flawless with his work, hid every wire and if he couldn’t made sure to keep everything as neat as possible. Gave us a great walk through the system showing what each widget did from the events tab to camera night vision and where to change any passcodes or create different codes for different situations. Answered every question we had as well.

We decided to switch to a Vivint primarily because their cameras didn’t operate over WiFi. During the account setup, the agent assured us that our existing sensors would be compatible, but the technician who arrived was unfamiliar with them and suggested we pay for additional sensors. He also didn’t bring all the equipment we had been charged for, arguing that since we received a discount, we technically hadn’t paid for it so it didn’t matter if he didn’t remove it from the work order. Additionally, we were told we would receive a $20 monthly credit for 12 months based on our promotion, but this was not acknowledged during the installation. Overall, while the equipment itself rated 5/5, the installation felt more like a sales pitch for extra equipment, leading me to rate the overall experience a disappointing 2/5.

Google: Vivint Smart Home lawsuits. VIVINT IS THE WORST COMPANY. Save yourself the hassle and headaches, NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH VIVINT. They have dozens of lawsuits, court judgments, fines and penalties for their unlawful behavior. 'Nour' ** was the Vivint salesperson who went door-to-door, told us he would give us a better monthly security service rate than what we had, but failed to disclose a $1,799 starter kit fee and we never got an itemized equipment invoice or total until a $4,030 bill was received. We already had a $4k security system installed in our home, there was no reason for us to pay that again. Total con job. Nightmare to try and get it removed. Customer service is a worthless waste of time. Still dealing with the scam artist losers.

Great experience. The technician was prompt, efficient, and very professional. He answered all of my questions and I’m loving my new system. I was even able to call him after he left to answer another question and he called me back immediately and answered my question and told me to call whenever I needed to.

We were intrigued by the seemingly ease of operation and quality of the cameras! The installation was longer than anticipated but the end result was good. Now we are in the process of learning all the ends and outs of the system!

Installation went pretty smoothly and Ryan did a good job explaining everything and was very helpful and courteous. The paperwork was a bit overwhelming and we had some glitches but over all after speaking to Russ we worked it out. We have not had time (only one day)to fully process all the options available so time will tell. I would give them a 9 out 10.

Our tech Rashad was very professional and he took his time explaining the whole process and how to upload everything on our phone and in our home. My husband and I were pleased with the end results of our alarm system. We did have a little issue with price of the equipment but we spoke a sales representative and they were willing to work with us and give us some perks.

Where they drilled holes to run cable left dust there. Did not clean up after themselves. Should get a little rechargeable dust buster to leave area clean would be more professional looking. Left me all the boxes to deal with. Other than that was done well. I did like the fact that I was given the option to only get the sensors I felt I need.

Chris was great and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Service. We had 2 outside cameras and a door bell camera installed as well as several inside items installed (glass break detection, smoke and fire detection, motion detection and entry detection). The new main pad is very user friendly. Chris went through all the features on the pad as well as the phone set up and how to use it.

I heard so many great things about Vivint which is why I decided to go with them. However, getting started with my system was such a terrible experience. I had to do my application over 5 times due to errors on their end. One of those times I was on hold for 2 hours until the agent said she would call me back and she never did. After waiting all day for her call, I called Vivint again, and was on hold for another 45 minutes. I called a total of 5 times before getting things squared away. Just to have my technician come and discover things were not squared away. I made it clear that if I had to call Vivint it would be to cancel the service. Shout out to my technician. He got everything right and I ended up having a great experience with HIS service. GREG for the win!!!!

The technician was clear and informative about what he felt was needed for our home. He installed all the equipment and went through a very thorough explanation on how the system works and how we were to access cameras, set the alarm, etc. He made sure everything worked properly before leaving. He was also friendly and willing to answer any questions we had.

I am very happy with Kameron who installed my security system. He did a excellent job. He explained everything to me. He made sure it was up and running right and made sure that I understood how to operate it. He cleaned up after he was done. Kameron was very knowledgeable about his job.

Installer was exceptional and knowledgeable. He answer questions with the different scenarios I brought to him. Installation was on point and and efficient. Equipment (cameras) were as advertised and Installer explained how to activate and deactivate system in layman terms so me and family could follow. So far everything was great.

The rep was great with exceptional customer service and did a wonderful job with making sure we understood the plan and service we were getting. He was prompt and got the job done. We needed a security system. After researching the options, we selected Vivint. So glad we did. Very impressed with the technology and ease of use with the app. Also very impressed with our Technician, Summer **. She was very professional. Extremely knowledgeable, and provided great customer service. If you need a security system, you need to seriously consider Vivint.

Easy to get set up and get scheduled. Technician was great. Showed up on time and performed quality work. He showed us everything about the new system and set everything up in a timely manner. 10 out of 10 recommend to everyone. Going to add a few things to my system for a more complete coverage.

He arrived promptly, introduced himself and explained what he was going to do. Updates us on his progress… Gave us demonstration of the new system and showed us the basic functionality of the system…

Ordering the products over the phone was very easy, he made it very worth my time. The wonderful installer was great and he was able to adjust and adapt my order based on what he actually was seeing in my home. I would highly recommend this product and company. Easy to use keypad.

Cameras do what they say. Love the spotlight. Ask questions about if you move, we were told different. Even if you decided to cancel, you're out of luck if you do same day service unless you meet a small part of requirements. Which this was told upfront. Ask questions and read before you agree.

Installer was very personable and professional. Took time to respond to any questions I had. Walked me through the process patiently since I’m not the most techie person. I very much appreciated that!! My daughter did find some leftover empty containers from equipment in the backyard which she wasn’t too thrilled about. But all in all it was a good experience.

I sold my house and called Vivint to cancel my service. They kept trying to get me to transfer my service but I kept telling them we didn’t want to do that. After about 20 mins of me telling them over and over again that I wasn’t doing it they finally sent me a cancellation email. I assumed it was over & done. 3 months later I’m seeing they continued to auto draft my checking account. When I called back, the same thing happened, they kept trying to get us to transfer our service. I told them we had a cancellation email and it should have been cancelled. After about 20 mins of arguing with them for continuing to take my money out of my account, I just hung up and called my bank to stop them from ever taking more money out of my account. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!

I did get the sign after salesperson that was his goal. Still need more information on the credit card to pay my termination fee on ADT that Nick told me will be taken care of the fee if I got Vivint. I like my alarm system. It’s been working fine. The installation group were great. Thank you.

I have been reluctantly with Vivint for 2 years now. The doorbell goes off numerous times. Now after 2 years I am told they can no longer troubleshoot my system since the equipment probably needs to be replaced because it’s 5 years old. My home was built two years ago so that means they put old equipment in my home. My options? 1 - pay to have a tech come out and then charge me for new equipment 2 - “upgrade” and pay monthly for a protection plan and I can upgrade my equipment- which may be new or not. 3 - pay a disconnect fee since my equipment doesn’t work. This is a scam.

The technicians worked diligently to set up all components and get it in working order. There were a couple of hiccups or miscommunications but to be fair, it was 10:30 last night when AJ left and our brains were basically squish. The technician today had to leave and come back because some things were forgotten but that was ok because it wasn’t that big of a deal. The technician arrived around 9:30 this morning and finished around 6 this evening. He even had his boss come and check on us to make sure we were satisfied with the job.

The Tech Phillip was very helpful and did an excellent job. I felt comfortable having him in my home. He was very patient with me when he helped me set up my app. He was very thorough when he demonstrated the system. He was very kind and friendly. The people who sold me the system and helped setup the installation appointments were very nice and helpful
