The process was easy and took about 2.5 hours. The technician was thorough and answered all of our questions. Everything was installed well. It works great and even looks good in our home. The app and in home monitor are easy to use and change settings. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.

The salesman was awesome and the installation was excellent. Security system was setup, tested, and shown all features. We tested the security features, and my kids enjoyed tripping the alarm to watch spotlight move and make sounds. All of my existing compatible devices were connected, and tested. All future expansion upgrades were covered as well. No issues to report.

Technician was super friendly, fast, informative and non judgement lol. He didn’t mind my loud messy home. I explained to him why I felt I needed the cameras and he helped me decide where to place the cameras. I’m so grateful to have an eye on my babies now and feel extremely protected.

They were super helpful with my installation. I was super busy with work and so they helped me through text. It was simple to activate accounts and I didn’t feel pressured into buying anything else. They respected that I had everything I thought I needed. Would definitely recommend Vivint to anyone that is looking for a quality camera/security system. Also would like to mention that the equipment came with the home we just bought and we absolutely love the quality in the cameras. We feel more secure especially having children at home. Sales team gave me one price and when the installation team came it was much higher. I had to negotiate down to get close to the original offered price. Over all the sales and marketing installation people were easy to deal with. Their equipment is very nice and their app is easy to use.

From start to finish this was easy to set up, timely and not expensive. The installation went smooth and the technician was professional and nice. The system is easy to use, and the tech stack they offer is just as good as the more expensive versions out there. Would recommended Vivint if you’re shopping for a new security company.

Great experience, the tech Blake was quick, honest, precise! Exceeded our expectations. I wasn’t in the house but my wife and children were there and he kept in contact with me via phone, text and delivered what was promised to me. He stayed 10 mins afterwards just to make sure everything was up and running and placed in the right areas. Love it!

The Vivint rep was knowledgeable and friendly. Shared all the available products and costs to help make the best decision about what was needed. Installation was flexible and not many adjustments were needed to accommodate the work. Rep was kind and respectful to all household members and shared all the features of the products chosen and operation of the Vivint box/console and app.

Jason ** installed and explained everything thoroughly, so glad I got him in the draw. Time will tell of course but I feel that we’ve made a good decision to go with this company. The best part was having professional installation and a service plan should anything go wrong.

The tech who came out was very knowledgeable and remained professional the entire time. Kriss was assisted by a trainee who was very helpful and engaging. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to met both of them. They took their time and did a great install and made recommendations when needed.

Everyone was friendly from start to finish. I like the system and they have a lot of options for add ons. I feel it's a good system for my safety. I would definitely recommend this and the price is good. I pay less for more than I did with my previous alarm system.

Well I think the person that sets you up should explain more about the financial part. He really didn’t explain that to me. I found out later that I am adding another card to my credit report which I didn’t want. And I am aware of the law suit against the company and I hope they don’t use my credit to allow someone else to join in your company. My tech was great. I am hoping this company will not let down!

The technician came and performed a great service, All sensors and the panel had to be changed, I recommend it to everyone. Now we have access to the panel and on the cell phone, easy and fast. We never have an alarm at home, the technician set up all the devices and we answered all our doubts, I would like to thank them for their attention.

The representative was very knowledgeable and went through the process to make sure everything was ok. She explained everything to me as far as how the system works. She made sure she explained all the installation procedures step by step. I would recommend this process to anyone.

My experience with the technician today was great. There were recommendations made but I wasn't forced to get anything I didn't need. There are plenty of options for favorite, but I got the package I wanted at a price that is fair. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone.

Gabriel and Nick came today to install cameras, a thermostat and a new system. They were absolutely amazing! They were thorough and detailed with their work. Everything came out clean and they were very detailed. They ensured that everything worked properly and that I understood how the new system worked before leaving. They were very professional and it was a great experience. They made everything very smooth and I couldn’t be more impressed by the work they did. Highly recommend them for any work and will be asking for them again in the future!!

Very nice people and very competent. Excellent install and service. Very knowledgeable and helpful in getting phones setup. Very friendly and took time to explain all of the functions of the system. Helped setting up all the components of the system and demonstrated how to use the phone application. We are very pleased with the quality of the product and the quality of the employees. They were very friendly and even pet friendly to our dogs.

I'm a returning Vivint customer. When we moved from PA to FL 7 years ago, Vivint wasn’t in the Tampa market. Very excited. They knocked on my door to say they are in the 813 now! Signed up and got next day install. Tech was great. Family feels safer. And we already know the Vivint customer service is in our corner.

We have replaced an older system on advice from family who had Vivint for several years. Our technician, Tim **, was knowledgeable, professional, detailed and patient. He explained the system, including the sensors, control panel, cameras, smoke/carbon monoxide detection, etc. He set it up according to our needs. He answered our many questions. We highly recommend Vivint and Tim!

Tyler and his co worker were very nice and informative. They let me know everything they were doing. They moved as quickly as possible. They were very professional and patient. I have definitely recommend them to a few friends. Tyler has already reached out to them. That’s great customer service.

Technician Corey was very nice and awesome. He was helpful and well manner. This is my first time using a security system and I love It. The screen shows a good and clear image from the doorbell camera. I would recommend this security system - to anyone.

This Company really does not have a clue. I have nothing but problems with the system since day one. Doorbell Camera went out and they sent a new one and I sent the old one back with the label provided. They received the old doorbell on the 8th of Nov, but charged me 308.00 on 11/21. Have been on a hold now for 23 minutes. STAY AWAY FROM VIVINT! I am now going with SimpliSafe. If I can get someone one the phone to cancel the horrible service..

I switched my security service over to Vivint and I couldn’t be more happy that I did! Our technician that came out Christian was very professional and very knowledgeable about what he was doing. Really appreciate all the time and effort they put into this highly recommend.

From sign up to installation, the Vivint team was responsive, thorough and efficient. I was kept aware of the status of my order and installation and the demo for myself and my son was very helpful for me to feel comfortable with the equipment and features of my new system.

They are the best in the business with bait and switch. I was quoted a price much lower while I was shopping and comparing prices. When I called back the next day to sign the contract, the price changed significantly. BUYER BEWARE!

Very good Service Man that came out and walk me Through everything. He was patient with me. He helped me set up my phone where I can View my home at any time. He was very knowledgeable about Vivint. Made me feel like I made the best decision about choosing Vivint.

The technician installed everything quickly and his explanation of everything was easy to follow. He was very friendly and down to earth and him installing and explaining everything as he went made me feel safer and less worried about the safety of my household. The setup was seamless and his explanation of it all made it easy to navigate and explain to my spouse.

Technician was extremely patient. I completely appreciate that from him. He has great people skills very outspoken. He walked me from point A to point B. He also offer me other options. He explain how other cameras work if I needed window sensors. He also said how Vivint system works. I give him 110%. Thank you.

Corey did a really good job installing my equipment. However, I was not aware they would need to drill holes in the wall for the wires which I wish I had known beforehand. Otherwise it was a very good experience and if anyone ask me about it, I will give them Vivint’s information.

Our Installation was flawless even though Tim ** didn't have much to work with! He was able to put our cameras where they had the best possible coverage without breaking the bank. Then took the time to explain the viewing panel to us so we could understand how it worked.

We are so excited about our new alarm system! Our installer, Brennan, was absolutely wonderful. He was very professional, kind and courteous. He also displayed great patience when dealing with all of our questions, and even helped us set up all of the parameters on our cameras. This has been a great experience so far and we hope this continues.

We have worked Vivint for about 5 years. They provide great products and we did feel more secure using their company. We eventually decided to make some changes and cancel. My disappointment comes with the customer service with this. My experience with trying to cancel was fine; they did the usual, "are you sure you want to cancel- we can make changes to the package, change prices," etc.

Eli was great, he explained every detail and worked hard to accommodate my family with what we needed. Techs were fast, respectful and courteous. Products are user friendly and installation was fast. All Vivint employees that came to my home were respectful and happy to help even after I said it was out of budget. They still tried harder until it worked out for both of us. Highly recommend their services.

The first issue I had, but this system was that a continuously stopped communicating with the mobile app. I was unable to access functionality that I had paid for. The second thing is that the keypad went out on three separate occasions over a year and a half. Even though they replaced the key that I had to go through all the manipulations to put those keypads back up call into the office and connect them to the system. What a pain in the butt. Thirdly, when I decided to cancel because I was just so through with all of the ups and downs with this system, and how things kept disconnecting and the wireless connections and batteries were just failing they disconnected my mobile app so I'm not able to access my camera even though before I have been paying for storage. Of course I thought that you could still use your system even if you weren't signed up to pay them a monthly fee for the rest of your life to use the functionality of your cameras.

We love Vivint’s system because we had it before in another State. So to get it again was a no-brainer. One thing we’d ask for in this account activation experience, however, is attention to detail when installing. Blinds should be put back the way they were before sensors were put on. Panels should be straightened, including garage mounted receiver, etc. Customer service is top-notch. Just slow it down and truly make it a white-glove experience.

The installer was wonderful, quick and helped me upgrade my plan! Now we have peace of mind with our new security system as well as a doorbell camera. He even offered to be on the lookout for security locks that will match my door handle! I am very pleased with the experience and we will certainly refer to others. The supervisor came by to check everything out and make sure it was perfect! Everyone was wonderful!

We recently got a Vivint security system. We are loving the system so far. More than anything the staff has been absolutely fantastic. The sales rep that helped us was David ** and he was incredibly friendly and informative. He was also very genuine. I never felt like he was selling me unnecessary things. I don't remember the techs name, but he was also friendly and worked at a very good pace. Hard workers all around.

Anthony was very professional and kept me informed every step of the way with the installation of my house alarm. He took in mind my budget and didn’t try to upsell unless to fill a need. He also took the time to make sure I understood how to work the alarm and if I had any questions before leaving. I will definitely refer a friend.

The inability to get your account cancelled is just AWFUL Business from this company! I sold my home in December and called to begin the cancellation process. Every month I am charged the fee to f $27.14 and every month I call the customer service to cancel the account and obtain a refund. It is now the next November and I am still being charged. Vivint owes me a refund and NOBODY has the competence to cancel the account and send a refund.

I called back on October 22, 2024 and was told I would get a $500 refund because an installation guy said he could not install my equipment in this apartment. I have called once a week for 6 weeks and have gotten no resolution. Their customer service is overseas in a country where they have broken English and the language barrier is terrible. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Could not understand why I only received $75 for my commission when I had my system installed. Still waiting for the bonus $300.. And I also needed to find out if there are more incentive or bonuses for the installation of my system. Plus when I recommend others do I get any bonuses or other commissions.

So today I was researching security systems. Among the some of the ones I looked into was Vivint. I got a call from a representative who asked questions about the type of system I was looking for. After everything was noted, I was asked for my social security number and my personal information to be able to get a quote. When I told the representative that I would not provide that information just to get a quote, he stated that there was nothing he could do to help me out and hung up. I don't care how good of a system you guys offer. But to ask for personal information this days just to be able to get a quote is completely ridiculous. Don't even know how you can get any business like that.

Aaron who first took my call was great. He really seemed genuine and was very helpful. Alex the scheduler was horrible with customer service. I hope I don’t have to talk to him again. Harold the technician was amazing. He was so courteous and patient with me. Overall it was a good experience.

Thank you to Jedidiah for the quick, precise and thorough installation and tutorial. He explained things so well and was extremely friendly. He wore shoe coverings inside the home, never complained about the weather while raining on him. Made us feel extremely comfortable with the equipment we chose. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Did a great job. As we discussed the installation we made several change and improvements because of his knowledge. We are very pleased with the system and the process. The system is an upgrade from our previous security company which give us more security and more coverage. We really like the great definition on the cameras and the ability to record and zoom in.

My installation technician Ben was very friendly and understanding. He answered all of my questions and I had many. He also was patient and showed us how to work our new system. I knew very little about the security I had purchased and was considering backing out. Ben and his friendly expertise is what made decide on Vivint.

Installer was professional and knowledgeable, installer stayed late to ensure system was properly functioning. Installer made sure we knew how system worked and went through all the available options of our system. Installer was careful and worked pretty fast. We have animals and he was aware of their presence to ensure they did not get out of the house as he was going in and out of the doors completing the installation.

My technician was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Very quick and on time. Would highly recommend. I feel like I was given all the information needed to secure my home safely. And I know I can reach out if I have questions. I love the quality of the system I received. Thank you.

The tech was well informed. Gave clear and concise instructions on how to operate system. Tech arrived at designated time. Went straight to installation and explained each step by step process. Thank you for sending a great tech to help my family feel secure and safe in our home.

The tech actually showed up a few minutes early our appointment. Was very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail. We double checked and confirmed he had all the equipment that was discussed and set up with the salesman before starting any work. He worked fast and with great care to our home. Before proceeding with any work made sure that’s exactly what we wanted and explained all of our options for different or better locations that he could do to make sure we got the best coverage for each camera in each area. Five star service and work in my opinion.

Daniel and Anthony were easy to work with, explained in terms you could understand. There was no mess to clean up. It was a pleasant experience. Vivint is the future of security! The process was non invasive, everything is wireless, the cameras are amazing. It is everything I could ask for.

The sales reps really explained everything and promoted all the benefits! I really like the doorbell camera and the deter mode when I have packages delivered! Plus the light on the camera when I pull into the driveway! The technician was very helpful in setting everything up and the making sure it all worked!

It only took them an hour to get it all in and working! Very simple directions. The fellas Anthony and Derrick were wonderful! They cleaned up and everything was properly placed!! I feel safer already!! I've had trouble with people driving in my driveway for no reason. Or sitting in my driveway. I'm older and by myself so I have a fear of unknown people who come around.

Our person that came was very polite. Very nice person. Any questions we had he answered them. The whole install was great. Very good. Would recommend him again. He also went over everything 2 times for us to make sure we understood. The person Kevin that told us about it was also a very nice respectful person. You guys are amazing.

Customer service was good, installing text were easy. Up until they charge my account without telling me I had a fee for it other than the monthly payment. You guys need to advise a different amount of payment as you go through and not just charge it at the end.

The install was a reinstall after a rebuild from a house fire. The install was great. Didn’t take too much time to install. I didn’t have WiFi installed yet so the tech Jessica offered to come back out to help me finish setting up the app on my cell after WiFi is installed.

Great product and great service. Purchased and installed the security system the same day. From the sales team to the installation technician everyone was kind and very helpful with the finding the right solutions for the project. Would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality security system. Vivint is the best in the business. Check them out for yourself or a loved one.

My system has only two of the many cameras working after over 6 hours on the phone with four technicians on different calls. I took the panel on and off 8 times moved the box from above the garage door and back door like a prank still not working after being held on the phone for hours finally a real person is set to show up hear on 11/22/24. All this was less important in get my system running to my expectations the most important was getting my payment & yearly contact taken care of. I am most impressed with the company so far. Still waiting to see if they will be able to get the system up & running when the tech arrives at my home. My suggestion would be to improve set up experience & only start collecting money monthly after the system is set up & running correctly not before and expecting payment for part of the services that were provided.

It was a door to door approach with is usually off-putting but Kam was patient, kind, and thorough with his explanations. It was a later-in-the-day sale so installation didn’t start until 7 and lasted til 9:30 pm. We did have to split up the install for another day. So far, the system has been easy to navigate.

Had a great experience when they upgraded the outdated system from the previous owner of our new House. Very respectful, listened to our needs, didn't push any products that we don't need, made sure we were comfortable with the monthly bill. Well, since I had to change security companies I decided to go with a company that is up to date with the 21st century necessities in home monitoring security. After checking ratings (4.9/5.0 stars), and a referral from a friend who has Vivint and likes the system, she showed me the equipment and how it works, and I must say that I liked what I saw. So far it functions great, is user friendly and does not have the complications and added expense of a wired battery box in a closet. I've had Vivint for only a few days but customer service seems excellent and the tech that installed my equipment was personable and efficiently determined to get my system up and running as he worked around and helped me remove the old equipment from the prior company. So far, so good.

I had a very positive experience with the security install today. The two young men that did the work were very polite and professional. They explained everything they were going to do according to the work order, made some changes after discussing it with me, and went about their job. The install was fairly quick. They explained how to use the equipment in a manner I could understand. They cleaned the work site inside and out. I would definitely recommend Vivint to my friends and family.

I just bought an older, but thoroughly renovated house. The upgraded systems were included in the sale. The installation went smoothly, and all of the features of the new systems were thoroughly explained and demonstrated — a clean and professional job. Vivint is an excellent company to work with, and I can recommend them without reservation.

So, let’s start with my title. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because I was very uneasy. A tech came to my front door in plain clothes, no company car, and no ID. Thank God he was able to pull my service contract up and show me his info or I would have declined service. I think this is VERY unsafe considering the world we live in today.

Jacob is very knowledgeable and very friendly. His install process is flawless and very professional. All the cameras are perfectly placed to where I asked him to put them. Also Jacob went over everything with me until I felt comfortable with the new security system. For my first security system I can say I’m impressed so far. Overall very great experience and would recommend.

New system has been installed and up and running. Chris helped with all of our questions and put the cameras in secure areas of our house that we wanted coverage. All went well and he was professional and cleaned up after himself, which is a bonus. Joshua also did a good job informing us upfront of coverage and how this will help us feel more secure when we are home and away.

Tristan is very effective selling and introducing to us Vivint security. And the technician who installed the equipment cameras are very knowledgeable about the job. Excellent service. I'm glad I switched from ADT security to Vivint security. I will surely recommend this to my family and friends. Who knows maybe someday I will do a commercial about Vivint security.

Bleu, the salesman and Doug, the installation man, were Great and their timing of your Product was in time for our Holiday travels! We will be telling our 5 Adult Kids about your Company! The system is working Great.

Called to shared I was charged twice during an account transfer process, they basically told me they could do nothing about it and to ‘call my bank’ and implied I was lying. I asked for the dispute process and they declined to provide the information (billing department guy was RUDE, talked over me - mansplained me - just awful). This was after talking to 2 previous employees (who I could barely understand) and being on the phone for 1.5 hours, I was out of luck and hard earned money. Then I had called to back to move my service, to find out that they transferred my service to the wrong address, which then they couldn’t help move my service because the address was wrong and didn’t match. So then I had to call the account transfer number to fix the issue I had already paid twice for

Installation great!! Not enough time for teaching me about the system. In a hurry to get to next job. No handout to study about how to use what was installed. Brandon and Tyler were very professional and cordial. Just in a big hurry to leave. Tyler assured me I would do OK but I wasn’t as sure as he was.

Technician was incredible. Thorough and knowledgeable and quick and prompt. I will recommend him to all my colleagues. Way better experience than other companies. From start to end, he was able to guide us through the whole process. Cost was on par or cheaper than our previous company. Finally he was very noninvasive and we were able to carry on our normal routine while installation was going on.

Excellent service. Very quick, intuitive controls on panel and app. Service members were very informative and helpful in explaining how the system will operate, and how many features we will have that can be personalized for us. I am very happy and satisfied with the professionalism, timeliness, and ease of use of all the equipment installed today.

Conrad did an excellent job at my shop. He was very thorough and made sure I had perfect understanding before I left couldn’t have asked for a better tech. Thanks for sending him to my job. I have Vivint at my home and have had Hardly any issues and it exceeded my expectations. So I had them do my shop as well. Hope this helps.

Gram was so nice. Not in hurry. I like that they did the work and it didn't take that long so that was good. They ran through on how to work the keyboard so they if I understood it what I didn't they help me with it. So yes they were ever helpful through everything.

Taylor was friendly and professional. He reactivated my system. He tried getting one of our cameras back online but was unsuccessful due to some PSI missing. However he was able to do everything else. Restarting Vivint system panel, showed me how to use it, turn motion sensors on front door and back door

Grant did an excellent job this morning. He was on time as he stated and took the time and explained everything in great detail. Mr Grant also walked me through the online app. Great job Mr. Grant and thanks for the help. Highly recommend him for a raise and promotion.

Everything was fine BUT….the installer showed up two hours late... around 10:30 I think. One person. We had dinner plans for 6:30 but he was long from finished. This was clearly a two-person job. He said we could not leave and that he had to finish. We canceled our reservation but gave him a 8 pm deadline. He didn’t finish it all but apparently, it’s not much. This was unacceptable to make us miss dinner. They are finishing sometime next week.

I've had too many bad experiences with Vivint. The products are unreliable, expensive, and break easily. The app is useless, completely skipping recording for times when activity was happening and it happens way too often. Customer service is non existent unless you're willing to pay more. The experience with the sales person was uncomfortable at best. Avoid Vivint. I spent a lot of money only to have cameras that don't work and recordings of times that I don't need.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I bought a system and signed a contract. Smoke detectors started going off randomly. Service tech could not fix the issue. Called customer support no less than ten times with no resolution. I removed the smoke detectors about 2 weeks after installation. Vivint would not credit my account for faulty equipment and still made me honor the contract. I had to pay these crooks for equipment that did not work. DO NOT USE VIVINT FOR ANYTHING!

Did excellent answering all my questions and explaining their product and how it would benefit me in my home. Very professional and knowledgeable. Tech installed equipment in timely and professional manner. Very polite and explained what each piece of equipment did. Was very quick and knowledgeable about installation. Matt with sales stayed in our home till all equipment was installed and came back next day to check on us to see if we had any questions and if everything was working as it should.

The sales and install were so easy and fast! The equipment is so intuitive and easy to learn how to use. Couldn't ask for a better experience! I will recommend this to everyone I talk to! I can't say enough about how happy I am with this company. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

My installer did a great job both explaining setup and suggested additional upgrades. He is Pro at installation and making sure he cleaned up after himself. When he completed he went over every detail of operation of the system. He helped me understand the system and answered all of my questions about the system.

I was pleased with the promptness of the technician. I was also pleased with the knowledge and the patience that the technician had describing how the system work. I even got the thermostat which came in handy and I appreciate that so we’ll see. We’ll see how I love Vivint, so far so good

From the first phone call to set things up, to the flawless installation, Vivint has been everything we could hope for in our home security setup! No hidden fees, everything was carefully explained, and we felt like we got what we needed and not just what they tried to sell us. Will highly recommend to friends and family!

Decided to go with you guys for a whole new security system and I’m more than pleased with the outcome and the service I received. Everything went well and smooth. There were a few issues concerning equipment defects but they were replaced with new units. The installer showed up promptly and was extremely professional. He made sure that everything was to our liking. And gave us the run down on how to operate everything. Would recommend to others.

My technician was very thorough, efficient and knowledgeable. He was punctual and took his time in explaining any questions I had about the equipment, additional products and services. I am enjoying all the features I selected to assist in caring for my disabled Mother.

Vivint was very good with their information about install. I believe they were very informative and helpful. As I told them I would give them 10 stars out of a possible 10 stars! They went over the products in detail until I felt comfortable enough with them until they felt confident enough that I understood enough then they left.

Yes my installer Tim was very nice, polite and respectful. I would recommend him to do any installing for my friends. He took his time to make sure we understood how to work the alarm system and helped to make sure it was on the phone. He also made sure the system was installed right before he left.

Charlie was great and very helpful. He did an amazing job and kept me very informed. Charlie was able to give me details about all of the installation throughout and was able to show me how to utilize everything. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. The system is very user-friendly and is easy to manipulate.

Mike was awesome! Very informative and walked me through the entire process. Very kind and personable. I didn’t have WiFi at the time of installation but he showed me how to use all of my devices from my phone. He was patient and made sure he placed all of my cameras in the right spot that allowed the best view.

I used to have Vivint at a home in a different state and canceled before moving to Texas. I tried another company after it was recommended from the home builder and it didn’t come anywhere close to the level of customer service, speed of installation, and quality of technology of Vivint. Vivint sales reps were knowledgeable and accurate, installation techs were friendly and helpful, and this made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. My technician was courteous and kind. He showed me how to work my system and added it to my iPhone. Yes, I would recommend his service to my friends and family. I feel like I can proceed with my life because my home is safe from fire and I can control my thermostat from my phone. I also can view my side yard and my front door and that’s a blessing to know who’s coming in and out of my house when I’m not there.

My technician was great and knowledgeable. He took care of everything I wanted. I’m really happy with my cameras and security. From the minute the salesman, Fisher **, greeted me and started telling me about Vivint security, I knew that it was going to be a wonderful opportunity for my home. I had been contemplating the idea of security, but with his knowledge and confidence in Vivint (and might I say, delightful personality) I was sure that having the security products I selected installed was the absolute right choice. Vivint. Love this app. I can check on my house when I am not at home. Check the weather out. Keep an eye on my puppy. I can call for help with my virtual account. I can talk to someone if at my door if I am there or not and I can see who is at my door when door bell I ringed.

The installer was on time, explained what he was doing, and took the time to show us how to operate the system. The install was fast, no mess and easy to learn.. The system to use it, is easy and being able to open and close on your phone is great! It works. Recommend them to all of my family and friends.

I have always thought highly of this alarm company until a false alarm was triggered last night and the alarm was not audible upstairs where I was sleeping. It could’ve been a disaster, but for the fact that somebody else was awake and heard it downstairs. Otherwise, police would’ve come crashing through my door. When I called today, they told me that “it’s just a to scare away the burglars“ which is ridiculous because you have to respond to the panel and if you’re sleeping, obviously you will not be able to go and do that. They told me they just came out with the chime extender, I guess that’s a good idea except now they want me to pay for it and install it myself. I’m canceling my service. I have had other alarm systems and when they activated you definitely heard it throughout the house.

The person that helped me is THE Man!!! He was patient with me and heard all of my concerns. He also walked me through each step with patience and clarity. He was just as concerned about my issue as I was and was determined to see me through till the end. He is the MAN.

There was no coordination between sales and install. I had spent an hour on the phone the day before to ensure no delays on contract price for install the next day. Installer arrived and spent 2-2.5 hours on the phone getting pricing sorted before even starting. The upshot of this was, he rushed at the end, did not clean up, did not finish, because he was rushing to get home to dinner. New systems- current issues, no holiday tones, dead batteries, did not finish installing components on a door. I cannot in good faith recommend based on a very poor experience. I have yet to receive the 2nd keyless FOB that was not provided. This was the second attempted install. I did get to listen to the installer complain loudly about sales for 6 hours.

Everything was good initially! The smoke detector is amazing as it picks up on kitchen smoke immediately! The camera has a good view and sees everything except the person that STOLE my grand daughter’s bike at 2 in the morning! Nor did it catch the car being stolen over night! So unfortunately I do not support the product! Also, I was receiving auto deductions and then they turned it into a credit card making the interest more and extending the balance!

My experience with Vivint was excellent from the beginning to the end. The customer service rep to the service technician did a great job. Mr. Jay ** is very professional and he is very through when explaining how the product works. He really made it easy to learn the system in no time. Mr Jay showed up to the resident within the timeframe that was stated. Mr. Jay is very knowledgeable and he take pride in his job. Thanks Vivint for a great product and a wonderful experience.

I was already familiar with product offerings and capabilities but setup and install was a great experience. Nick was amazing on the install and setup. He answered all my questions and even took the time to engage with my daughter and my dog. Fantastic employee, a credit to your organization and an overall great experience.

The technician was thorough and very transparent. Made sure that I was crystal clear about everything before he left my residence. I am pleased with everything. It is easy to add users and totally monitor each area. All the areas that he needed to access was explained and he did not take a long time to do the job.

I called Vivint as a neighbor of mine has this home security system and I was impressed with features and the ease of access. Within 2 hours of my initial call, a technician visited my home to install the new equipment. He was professional, kind, explained everything and efficient. Additionally, the app was easy to install on my phone and more importantly, we were able to use/synchronize some of the window/door monitors from my previous security system.

The service that you guys provide with the installation was very satisfactory, the camera quality is clear and the sound is clear. The front light is bright and tracks well when motion is detected. It’s only day one but so far the quality seems great. The employees were all kind as well and very great communicators.

I would never spend a penny on this company. The customer service is AWFUL, Ross A and a supervisor both hung up on my wife. Ross A should be fired, I work in customer service and that is un-acceptable. She was calling to cancel service that our her son ordered without her knowledge. Instead of offering a cancellation option, they told her to get a lawyer before hanging up on her. Worst company we have ever dealt with.

I would not recommend Vivint simply because of their billing practices. I cancelled my service due to relocating and not needing their service anymore. After almost an hour of them trying to keep my business I was told my account would be closed. A long story short, my credit card was still being charged for the next three months. I called to inquire, again long holds lots of apologies and confirming that my account should not have been charged. I wish issued a refund for last three charges. The next day I was RECHARGED for the refund I received. I am now on hold (43 minutes and counting) to rectify this once again. I have asked to elevate the call to a representative of account services. Now they will not allow me to elevate the call. We are in the process of building a home. I would NEVER allow them to provide service to me again. I am filing a complaint against the company.

Our tech was very punctual and neat in his set up. The tech was very efficient in setting our system up. He was very knowledgeable in regards to problems he ran into. He made it very easy for us to program and understand. Would definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Vivint service is pure garbage. Their customer service reps and account reps lie through their teeth about getting you support to fix your system and never call back, never schedule repairs that they caused, etc. I spent over $10,000 on my Vivint system and all the cameras go down 10 times a day and at best they send out techs who were hired yesterday with no training and then follow up with calls trying to sell you their service plans. I was psyched about Vivint when I first signed up and spent over $10,000 on their system. 100% regret it. Their service is garbage. Pure garbage. Even for a client that spent that much with them. Go to ADT or anyone else.

Home security is complex business, but Vivint has made it simple. Their installer Miguel ** was capable and explained everything in detail and worked with me whenever I needed a demonstration. I feel like my home is more secure now than it was before. It (Vivint) is a very good system and the installation was very well done.

From calling in to order the service to my technician coming out I was provided with the best customer service and was assured I understood my monthly bill and how everything worked with clarity. I would recommend all my family and friends, and love the new set up. I was also showed a preview of the service before installment which I liked,

This is the second system I've purchased, I love the features and ease of use. They came out to install everything during a winter storm and they need praised for that! The technician also made great recommendations and didn't push any decision making on us either. It was a really good experience. :)

Freddie did a great job installing and explaining how the system works. Showed up on time, completed the entire process in less than 4 hours. Demonstrated the functions of the alarm and camera system. I can’t review anything other than the installation service, as I have had the system for a less than a day.

My Vivint service pro, Kyeon Ford was very professional, knowledgeable, and forthcoming. He arrived to my home promptly and explained everything in my order and then as a knowledgeable professional he installed the system. From your call center to the in home technician this was by far the easiest and best home security I’ve ever had and will stand on that until proved otherwise! 10/10 Recommend for anyone with experience in this area! The team that installed my system was simply the best. Professional installation. Great explanation of services. They were kind and even the dog enjoyed the visit. I was very impressed with the great customer service I received today along with the professional installation. There was no cleanup left behind. I was explained in great detail how the alarm service worked both on the main panel and my phone. They offer a $300.00 referral fee to whom you refer them to, as well as to the person doing the referral. I would recommend them highly.

They send subpar batteries with their sensors and then they corrode and they try to charge you $50 to replace the sensor! Tried telling me I waited too long to replace the battery! I went to replace the day the panel notified me that it needed it!

Great presentation enjoying the new system. Works great!! My son and I feel very safe and the system is easy to use. Everything was so fast and it's so easy to do use. My husband is not really into technology and apps and learned this one on the first time. He even uses the app on his phone. Only tells you how easy it is to use. We love the comfort it's giving us specially during the night. That way we can sleep better knowing our family is safer.

During the set up the service address was incorrect. Once I forced the issue to make them change it to the correct address I was told they would fix billing address. They didn't. Our billing address is still incorrect. I've communicated asking for it to be changed and it still isn't done.

The servicing tech that did our panel activation was amazing. Super funny, knowledgeable, and professional. Because of this experience I will be getting Vivint for all of my homes. Ditching over from the other doorbell security was the best thing I ever did. I can not say it enough, Vivint is amazing.

Please please anyone looking to get Vivint services, run the other way. They will lock you in a contract for five years, never refund any money even if they tell you, and their monitoring services suck. They will force you to upgrade so they can get more money out of you. Please please stay away from them. Do your research on how many bad reviews and complaints they have. I wish I would have.

First, Moussa ** was my service guy. Moussa is amazing, experienced, and very knowledgeable. Moussa is a great Asset to Vivint, Vivint should be very proud to have him with their organization. Moussa explains the process in Layman terms, he makes sure you understand how to use the equipment, asked for feedback and questions. I normally do not write reviews in-depth, but this one is very important because reviewers must know that good customer experience is vital when you get good service. Lastly, Vivint, thank you for honoring my discount as initially promised!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! They think they are Comcast and want to charge $100 for a service call to replace their faulty equipment! Made my 70year old husband get on a Ladder to replace their sensor that they replaced last week? Never again! What’s even worse is when I purchased the PROTECTION PLAN I was assured that they would make service calls! Do not be fooled like I was!

Victor was our security rep. He was very professional, efficient, and personable. He answered all the questions I had and even took the time to make sure I understood how to utilize the security system to its fullest. I would definitely suggest Victor and Vivint to my family and friends.

I requested on numerous occasions to cancel the contract with Vivint because the service and equipment does not work. Over the very short time I used the service, I had Vivint technicians come to my home on three separate occasions because of issues with the system and equipment. I armed my system less than 10 times, and two of the first six times I used the Vivint system, two resulted in false alarms. The last false alarm resulted in the police being called to my home at 2am-although the system never sounded enough to be heard on the second floor of my home, where our bedrooms are. The Vivint doorbell cannot be heard on the second floor of my home, and technician had to put a device downstairs to extend the doorbell even on the first floor.

I have been thinking about security for my home for a while. I am glad I got to take advantage of an amazing deal without worrying about getting into a large debt or worrying about how to be able to afford to protect my family & home. Getting Vivint was the best decision we have ever made. Will highly recommend to all friends and family. Our tech Damon, was great, efficient, and explained all the functions thoroughly, made the process pleasant and painless.

Okay, how bad can it be? Everything that you promise doesn't happen. They overcharge me. I spent 8 hours trying to get my money back. Still not sure if that's happened. The five times that I called I was on the phone for an hour. Now the camera, my ring camera stayed online more than the Vivint camera. Every few days it's offline for no reason because the internet is fine. Long story short, just run. Just run away not towards away.

Installer was courteous, very pleasant, explained how to use the system and worked around my pets without complaint. He offered to return on Sunday because he was missing one camera. This was very convenient for me because I did not have to make arrangements again at work. Minor suggestion to trash the screws from the old fixtures. Other than that great service!

The two lads that presented the product were knowledgeable, professional, candid, and extremely personable. Our only concern was there was too much to digest in operating the numerous modes of the system in such a short amount of time. The technology provided is difficult for me since I’m not tech savvy.

After discussing my needs we decided to add additional sensors and camera and add video playback from the cameras. Couldn't ask for a nicer guy! He was super fast with the installation and took his time answering any questions I had.

I would recommend Vivint. They have reliable service and really nice Customer Support and Field Service Professionals. I was having issues with my current camera and I chose Vivint for my replacement. I'm really excited going forward. The camera's video screen is crisp and clear, the Field Service Professional was kind, helpful and knowledgeable.

Vivint’s security system is easy to use, high quality, and reliable, but the standout was the service we received from Ryan. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, answering all our questions and ensuring a smooth setup, even while we had movers in and out of the house. Would highly recommend Vivint.

I attempted to end my service with Vivint after moving. I was told I could keep it active for two months without charge and could follow up to determine if I wanted to continue service at a new location or to transfer it to the new homeowners. I declined and was still charged for those two months of service. I called Vivint repeatedly over months, and was eventually told I would be issued the credit. After weeks passed, I still didn't receive the credit so I called again to follow up. The last person I spoke to said my account was closed and it was impossible for them to issue the refund on a closed account. They even attempted to get me to open a new account and pay for additional services to get that credit. The constant up-selling and their lack of ability to rectify the situation with a long-standing customer was incredibly frustrating. I will not be using their services in the future.

The Technician was thoroughly versed in the service: blind spots, heavy/low traffic areas, equipment limits, response time, etc. All questions were answered satisfactorily. Be prepared, because setup took some time. Anytime an issue arose on compatibility, it was resolved quickly and to my benefit.

We used Vivint for our security monitoring service at our home and it went well! The salesperson was very knowledgeable and assisted with questions we had on the products and he assisted with recommendations. The technician was knowledgeable as well and installed the product without any issues. They were also very transparent with pricing and services.

The entire process was easy and our technician worked with our schedule to come out to our house and installed all of the equipment quick. Our technician showed us how to work the panel. It is a very nice system and we’re loving it so far. The features are far not better than a simple ring doorbell camera. Go with Vivint for sure.

Technician arrived as scheduled, he was professional and very helpful. Alarm panel has a sleek design and is easy to use. Being able to access everything from your cell phone is a plus as well. I did not have to wait a long time to get an appointment. Customer service was great.

High pressure and deceitful sales tactics, false alarms, unanswered alarms, equipment works about half the time, poor quality installation, hard to understand the employees answering the phones because most speak broken English, etc… and so on. Hey but don’t take my word for it. Do the research. This is one of the most negatively reviewed companies I have ever encountered, BBB, Google, Yelp…. and the lawsuits that have been brought against this company are numerous.

We've been trying to cancel my dad's Vivint security account FOR 6 MONTHS. The unit doesn't work, they keep increasing the bill, taking directly from his checking account. The alarm goes off, nobody calls, no police come, it hasn't worked for a year. We call to cancel. We get transferred a dozen times, they try to sell us a better system, but when I told them my dad had cancer...they added what stage, I told them 4 and they said, "Oh we can cancel it." Except, there's no email on the account so we can't do online and they've yet to send the paperwork. At this point we are calling the Attorney General because we have no recourse and the bank isn't cooperating either. It's so upsetting.

Deceptive sales tactics, such as inaccurate initial estimates or misrepresentations of contract terms. Installation was done incorrectly (I have 45 years experience in electronics, telecommunications, fire alarm and security systems (Installation, management and maintenance). The customer service is very poor. I have put in over 9 hours phone time to get an issue resolved and it has NOT been corrected. This is the WORST experience I have ever had. Buyer beware. This company is rip off.

Everything is working out perfectly and was told if I needed help or assistance with my security system to call him. Professional and very knowledgeable.

I was promised cameras that never showed up, they sold me them in September and I’ve called the sales rep who has never responded. I have also called Vivint directly 2 separate times, and cannot get anyone to help fix the issue. I only did the system for the cameras, I never alarm my system but it was needed in order to use the cameras. I can’t believe it is so hard to fulfill on their commitment and breach of the agreement we have made with them.

Had a perfect sit down with the sales rep who was informative and is a customer himself. Our installer was very helpful and informative. Helped set up my wife and I with profiles and get all equipment installed where we wanted it. Only reason for the 4 star is that the MyQ cannot connect with the garage opener. This really isn't on the personnel.

Tech was very informative and polite. He didn't hesitate to answer questions. Work around my expectations. Equipment seems high quality and easy to use. Disappointed that I was told certain sensors were compatible with Vivint. Installer came and told me I would to buy new door sensors and the garage piece of equipment really isn’t compatible with Vivint. Texted with sales rep and he seemed upset because I did not answer his call while the technician was setting my phone up. Says he would take care of things, but I have to hear back from him! It is potentially worth switching back to my previous company!

The worker Mr. ** did a fantastic job, he did his job well, easy to talk to, and he knew what he was doing. He came on time, we talk about the installation and how he will do it, great job, didn't take him long time to do the installation,

Everyone was so nice and caring. I feel they truly cared. Last time your company try to sell me a security system. The guy ended up pissing me off so bad that I told everyone that called to follow up so I have to say thank you for having a great team this time.

I’m extremely disappointed with Vivint’s service, which has been a nightmare. Despite having a contract until 2026, Vivint has consistently failed to provide the functioning security system I was promised. My cameras and other equipment have been essentially useless for the past six months. I contacted support multiple times, endured numerous visits from their technicians, and even had equipment replaced, but nothing has resolved the issues.

The techs did an amazing job putting the system together for me and explaining in detail how it works. They did exceptional. I love my new security system! I would recommend them to my family and friends! So far everything is working as promised it would. Thank you guys for a job well done. I appreciate everything.

The sales and installation were fine. The sales person was friendly and knew the answers to the main questions. Installer did fine. Though he did not speak a lot of English, it was enough. System seems easy to use though it does remember our favorite access code from the last time we were with Vivint. Thus it will not let us use it.

I am completely 100% satisfied with the service. I highly recommend Vivint and Mr. Andrew **!! This is my second home I have had Vivint installed in. Both were installed by Andrew **. Mr. ** is the only representative I want to do installs for me and I specifically contacted him for the new install.

Initially didn’t understand I was getting a doorbell but was very understanding to hear me out on it, he added the doorbell on and put every sensor in a good spot, and managed the chords and equipment placement well. Was also very respectful and made a couple jokes here and there.

My installation tech came, and he was incredibly professional and polite. He installed all of my products and even cleaned up after himself. He explained everything to me perfectly and I understood exactly what I was getting. He showed me where he was putting everything and how it would all work together with the home hub. I would highly recommend this system and my technician to everyone that I come across.

The salesman and the tech were fabulous, knowledgeable, and helpful. The only group I have is the people on the other side of the phone with the tech giving the tech a hard time about changes on the ticket. Wanted to close the ticket and not be helpful and help. The tech was real professional, courteous and helpful. You could see the frustration you had dealing with the people on the other side of the phone when he had a problem. Shouldn’t be that way. Vivint security system is working properly and looks on the building is very professional. The work was well done, technician explained process and help understand what we might need considering our location and building. Technician and supervisor worked together, which was amazing to see, and provided education on the Vivint security system. Would definitely recommend to others.
