Live video is great but to rewind to an event has caused me to have to reboot my cameras. Really would have wished for the installer to have gone into the addict to do the installation. Also these cameras are Power On Ethernet but they don't run data over the wire; it's still WiFi which sucks up my router bandwidth. Now that I think about it, this system sucks.

The service technician was very prompt. Even came earlier than scheduled. Was very detailed with set up and what he was doing during the entire time in my home. He showed me in great depth how to use my equinox as well. 10/10 service and customer service. Would definitely recommend their company to others. I also would recommend Evan for personally best tech ever.

Everything from beginning to finish went absolutely flawlessly. Our salesman was very nice, professional, and informative. We sat down and built a package, my husband and I took about a day to think about it, the salesman came back to the house, and we finalized everything, and the next day our system was installed. The installation was very easy and not invasive at all, and he was also very informative and gave us a lot of tips on where to put things which really helped. Definitely an overall five out of five experience, not to mention the price is very fair, so much cheaper than I would have thought a full service camera, and alarm system would be!

The sales person was great, and the installer was outstanding! He walked us through every step of the installation. He was very impressive with his knowledge and extremely courteous. He left our home very clean after he finished. We are happy with our initial experience with Vivint. We like the easy to use features of the system.

Cesar with Vivint was knowledgeable and took the time to make valuable recommendations. High quality equipment and great technology were the main reasons for scheduling Vivint and this shown through during the install. Door bell camera, exterior camera, window/door sensors, and high quality central station all look great visually. Have used other DIY systems in the past, but the white glove service was appreciated and gives me the peace of mind for my family.

The purchasing process was really transparent and straightforward from meeting Jack knocking door to door and I completely understood what I was buying and the monthly payments (which are my favorite) and they sent Fernando to install the entire system at my home the same day which was super helpful, seamless, easy and comprehensible. So far the system is way better than what I previously had, I feel safer and have a lot more peace of mind knowing I have the best software and equipment available! Like always, salesman over promises just to get the sale. I was overcharged and during installation they kept telling me that the amount I was seeing was not correct and that it's just the financing credit amount I qualified for. I keep calling or a response and they won't answer phone calls or text messages. I will not recommend this service to anyone.

So far our experience has been completely professional. I was given a thorough run down on the phone and when they installed there were zero hidden costs. We did add more but we had planned on it. Only bringing the price up by 5 dollars a month! I’ll update if something goes wrong but one day in and we are extremely pleased.

Everything is ok. I feel that the HUD in my home isn't working like it should, the screen keeps timing out at first it didn't, screen stayed on constantly. I was able to watch my Camaras as long as I wanted to. I would much rather the hud didn't time out and stayed on constantly.

I have been with Vivint 15 years. I never had an issue with them until last year when they installed a camera for what was supposed to be free and they zapped my checking account for installation fees and left me overdrawn because they had told me installation was free. They have outsourced all the customer service to where you can not speak to anyone that speaks good English. I'm feed up and called to cancel my service. They want 892.00 cancellation fee. They will not cancel my service unless I pay them this fee. I am selling my house and moving in with my daughter so I do not need their service any longer. It took me 6 months to get the unauthorized issues worked out last year and now this issue!

Terrible Billing Practices & Awful Customer Service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I canceled my service with Vivint months ago, yet I keep getting charged! I’ve contacted customer service multiple times, and not only are they unhelpful, but they also give me the runaround every time. No one seems to know how to fix the issue, and they just keep transferring me from one representative to another. This company either has shady billing practices or complete incompetence in handling cancellations. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. I will be disputing the charges and warning everyone to avoid this nightmare of a company!

The door lock doesn’t relock as it’s supposed to after coded entry. The cameras are very good and clear. The system is user friendly, easy to add users, and seems very simple to run. The technician was very neat, clean and efficient. He explained the process and the system well.

They were amazing. They took their time addressing my concerns and before the call was over. They made sure I was satisfied and conformable with services. Also, they made me feel like they cared about my specific situation. I am going through a domestic situation and they did all they can.

I found it predatory that as much information the seller provided they did not inform me that this product was credit impacting and that same day set up would require a contract “fee” if cancellation is requested there after. Definitely Predatory!!!

These cameras are very clear and very high quality. They never have glitching. When the cameras notify you it’s with good timing of when it happening. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Will definitely recommend. Thanks Also everything was done fast. They didn’t take all day to install the cameras.

Angel was excellent installing, discussing and educating us on new equipment. Angel took the time to make sure we were comfortable and understood how to utilize all components. The installation technician helped me understand what could and couldn’t be done. I rent where I live, so I can’t drill holes. He set me up with a system that would work for my basement apartment as well as be the same price that was originally offered to me by the person I spoke to on the phone. The technician was also very fast with the install which was greatly appreciated as I had gotten off a 12 hour night shift that morning.

I recently had a Vivint technician come out for installation/service, and I have to say, the technician was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He took the time to explain everything and ensured the system was set up properly. No complaints about the service at all! However, I was shocked at how much more expensive Vivint has become since I previously had it in Colorado. The pricing now feels significantly higher, and I’m not sure it justifies the cost compared to other options on the market. While the system itself is high-quality and the app is user-friendly, the steep price increase is definitely something to consider before committing. If you’re okay with the cost, Vivint offers solid security and great service. But if you’re looking for affordability, it may be worth shopping around.

Gentleman was friendly, and informative about the installation. I have never had home security before so he was very detailed about everything, very patient, and helpful with understanding the equipment. Was a bit leary about getting the system but again by the end of the visit I felt I had a great understanding of how everything works. Would recommend them to anyone looking to get smart home security. Five stars all the way across the board.

Technician stepped me through the activation process well. Every step was given to me in an easy-to-understand way. Even then if I was unsure, technician was very patient in guiding me. He was polite and respectful. Gave me chance to ask any questions and provided me with answers. He demonstrated to be knowledgeable about the process and products.

After having several issues with the operating systems applications for my old outdoor monitors. I decided to go with a more modern and secure system. The price is reasonable, and the dedicated staff was here till almost 1 o’clock in the morning, installing all the cameras and operating systems. So far I’ve been very impressed with the system

Ricardo, the technician, was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. His desire to help us understand the system was amazing. I would recommend him and Vivint in a heartbeat. The system is easy to use and the features are very useful. I like the motion detector and the door sensors. The help desk also is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I was very pleased with the timely arrival of Travis to implement my security services. He did all he could to ensure that my connections were live and the home was secure before he left. He walked me through how to use my panel, my apps, my locks, as well as showed me how to make changes if I needed them. He was very patient as we had a 2 hour delay due to issues with how customer service set things up. This caused Travis to have to be there much longer than he should have been. If it weren't for that, I would give this rating a 10. Travis did an excellent job completing the installation process and testing all measures.

Our experience with Vivint and our technician Daniel ** was excellent. The service, the equipment, and especially Daniel’s knowledge, professionalism, and kindness was of role model caliber. I decided to go with Vivint because the previous homeowner had a system and it was simple to operate. The technician came to my home and was respectful and knowledgeable. He used shoe covers inside and made some security recommendations that were helpful. I’d recommend Vivint for their clear pricing and quality service.

Only had it for less than a day, specifically to sell wrap and the technician gray guys great individual, healthy communication, know what they're doing, did what they had to do and let the customer happy so far. So far it seems very easy to operate customized to your liking but overall so far so good. We shall see after the first month free trial to have see if I can have a different opinion about the system but so far it's looking good.

Promised more than delivered. Being a technologist myself. Somewhat disappointed. Was told I would get a DVR, no such thing. Was told can read license plate. Does not. Camera is inferior to my existing system. Doesn't pan & tilt. Monitor panel doesn't even have a stand and I want to pay $1400 for it? Seems to force ne to take doorbell and sensor when I am not interest. Some disconnection, sent email to support, no responses. General feeling is poor product and poor support in first 24 hours.

First time customer and from the start of purchase to the install of my security system was fabulous. The install technician was very courteous, knowledgeable to placement to help me figure out the best area to install the camera. They were very professional, kind and patient to us old folks. Very informative and knowledgeable about the product (solar panels for power). Very thorough throughout the whole process. Best of all, no stress! The extra bonuses are very much appreciated. It’s all been such a wonderful low key stress free environment that they bring with them. Service establishment was easy and installation was done same day. Tech was professional and completed the install without hassle. On the equipment side- camera is clear and sound quality thus far has been excellent. App control is mostly intuitive and has good responsiveness. Have not tested the "Glass Break" sensor and hope it never needs to be, but test reviews make clear that they work well. Garage door tech has a swath of the market it doesn't work with- when change out the one it have will rectify that.

The technician was very good at explaining the system. His installation work was neat and quick. He took additional care with demonstrating the control pad and how to navigate through the input. He also did role play to ensure I had the timing down on disarm as well as additional safety features.

Our Vivint security system was installed yesterday and it was a great experience. Our installer, Alex was extremely helpful and very professional. I would recommend Vivint to anybody. The app makes everything so easy and the fact that we have the doorbell camera along with the sensors on all the doors and windows makes me feel much more safe.

I feel like the product is nice and cool but it is just a lot more pricey than my old system. Everyone that I spoke to was really nice and helpful. The agent that came to my house was informative and made things easy to understand. Even so the price it's not necessarily worth it, which is why I still won't be going back to my old product, but it was nice to try something new.

I called to get pricing on a new alarm system, as I was disappointed with the current company. The rep was great. Gave me wonderful discounts, because my son was a current user. Did not push me into having a contract. I paid for the items I had installed and was told I did not have to do a yearly contract. That lowered my bill a lot! They came out the next day and installed what was requested. I had one small snafu with a door monitor and I called the next day. They talked me through fixing it and answered all my questions.

I’ve only just had VIVINT equipment activated in my house, so jury is still out on the performance of the equipment. However for the set up and activation, both VIVINT employees that came to help were professional and polite, and walked me through everything I needed to know. I only put 4 stars because the first visit to the home to start the set up was unannounced and unscheduled, and they came by at 5:30 pm, which I found slightly unorthodox. But the tech was very polite, friendly, and professional and helped me get started.

We are happy with the system all the components. The tech was very helpful and knowledgeable. We are still learning to work the system and the components. We love the alert PIN for our mother to used. We hope everything works out. The system is state of the Art, I think it's worth the money. Thank you.

First, Carlos was patient and professional in explaining the capabilities and advantages of the Vivint security system, and then customized the configuration that best met our needs. Then, Josh came in and installed the system. He was equally professional and very careful to respect the state of our walls and placement of equipment. My experience with Vivint Installer Donnie was amazing. He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me down to the T. Fast and well mannered tech, process took less than an hr to install, product review is amazing. Tech also showed me how to use the equipment to arm and disarm. What's really great is also the app you can install on your phone to see any activity right from your phone.

Everything with Michael technical was great, even he make some offer because I'm not expecting more payments at the end of the service. They didn’t clear that but he explained and look for my best offer, there was a gift card promotion but nothing was given soooo have to be aware when you do your promotion.

When Cristian ** knock on our front door Monday morning. In my surprise me and my husband wasn't ready for the commitment for the alarm system due to our financial difficulties. But he has helped us to understand how important to have a alarm system and that it can be affordable. I'm so happy that we have made a decision to have Vivint system.

Worst experience ever. If you want to get scammed and raked over the coals…give them a call. I was lied to and told I could try the service out for 90 days without any repercussions. Turns out it’s a 3 day trial period. Once they have your social they will open a line of credit to pay for their overpriced equipment. The sales guy failed to mention this. It amazes me that this company is still in operation. It’s only a matter of time before they are shut down.

Phone etiquette of personnel is Wonder. Technician was incredible and very helpful. Only glitch was change in price that I was not aware of. Thanks to technician for jumping in and helping with pricing. Manager was helpful also. Call backs to confirm was good as well. Overall I am pleased with the service.

From start to finish, Brock was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and ensured that the system was set up perfectly. The quality of the equipment is top-notch, and the installation was clean and seamless—no messy wires or unnecessary drilling. He also took the time to walk me through how to use the system, making sure I felt confident before he left.

These guys have good products. They do charge a premium for it. I’ve been with them for a long time and I do recommend it. Just know you are paying for a premium service and premium products. Installation guy was awesome and done a few installs. With the event this time is Ben by far the best.

Installers were amazing, on time, very knowledgeable, & observant. One was training but definitely knew what she was doing & didn’t look like she was training. The other gentlemen was great & recommended ways to put the camera system around the house to better protect my house. Other than that, they were very respectful and took their time while explaining everything they were doing.

The sales rep was quite knowledgeable. To get everything set up was easy, except when it was time for access. After about two weeks, someone came and the issues were squared away. But we are liking it so far.

Vivint was a quick and easy installation. It really does everything they say when they’re doing the sales pitch. The cost is better than most other and everything is at your fingertips. The picture are crystal clear. The motion detection is on point and the voice activation is incredibly well!

I had an elderly person come inside and install my system from the gecko. He wanted to use my restroom, but we still have no water in service so he left and came back. Was very unprofessional and very impatient. Could not wait to leave. Wanted to finish everything in a very fast and orderly manner. He just wanted to get the job over with instead of taking his time and actually going through the overall process, had no manners was rude and honestly, I couldn’t wait for him to leave. I was expecting the chemical qualities to be a little more high-quality when being zoomed in and maybe I would have wanted to install a light in the backyard but again he was in a rush instead of trying to make the customer that he was attending satisfied.

Sales rep and Tech were both well mannered and professional. Both the explanation/setup were relatively quick and simple to understand the operating systems. So far still in the testing the system out and seems to be well functional for its purpose.

When we were contacted by Vivint as previous customers, we had a great experience discussing our move, and our inability to continue our service with Vivint. We talked about the various products and made product selections that fit our smaller home. When the installer arrived, we made even more equipment changes to fit our property type relying on his expertise. When the installation began, Ryan took great care installing our equipment and ensured we knew how everything worked, and to increase the equipment effectiveness. Great service from the initial contact to the final installation. We're glad to be back as long-term customers.

I like the products but don’t think the value is great (expensive for what it is). The installation team came quickly but struggled on several of the installations and left me with homework to do (hole in the wall, sanding and painting where thermostat is, one of the garage door openers doesn’t work, the doorbell camera didn’t cover up the previous holes, etc.). I don’t regret it but I’m not sure I would do it again.

Scott came out to my house on time and very professional. He sensed my frustration with the Vivint rep, who sent him out and didn't have my order correct. He spent around 4 hours trying to the correct the situation. He went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that I was satisfied, as I was ready to say no to Vivint, due to the incompetence of the representative who scheduled my service. Once Scott got my service order together, he then stay beyond the time he should have had to be here, to install my service and make sure that it worked correctly. He then followed up the following day to ensure my satisfaction, although he is scheduled to come back to do a 2nd install in a few days.

Great rep and installer. Too soon to tell how well the system works. So far, so good! Will be happy to recommend after 60 days. Equipment seems to be high quality, service good, installed promptly, price a touch high but worth it for the quality and service. Overall good experience.

I just signed up with Vivint and so far the service is great. They came to the house and explained everything well. I signed up with the system friday and had the technician at the house by Sunday. They did an amazing job from beginning to end. Had a small issue with the doorbell camera which was quickly resolved by chatting with a support person over the chat in the application. Very disappointed with service. I took the day off for installation on 2/13/25 and my order was short. My smoke detectors and smart lock, installer came back same day, installed smart lock and scheduled me for 2/15/25 to install smoke detectors which at that time I told him to add one more smoke detector, total of 6. Different installer called me on 2/15/25 and told me he only had 1 smoke detector and had to reschedule me if I wanted 6 which I told him that I did and as of 2/16/25 I’m still waiting for a call to reschedule. My DVR keeps displaying Playback DVR unavailable, not happy at all with my experience so far.

Kyle was great and thorough! He arrived within the time frame and did not rush through our time together. He walked me through every step along the way and made everything super simple from start to finish. He showed me the system itself and the app, which I love! Overall, great service AND system!

The tech was nice, but did show up late. The process to use the alarm system is pretty straight forward and not difficult to follow. The camera quality is good. The tech was able to take some old equipment off but not all of it so we have a mix of old stuff and new.

I have been wanting to get a doorbell camera for a while. I happen to be home when Cody showed up. We talked for about 10 minutes and went with what he recommended. The install crew showed up in 5 minutes. Both of them knew what they were doing. Two hours later it was up and running. I had one problem with my old router and Nick brought one by the next morning. I love it. Crew was legit, good, and I got what we talked about. They went through it in detail, and it is very user friendly! 99 bucks a month with 0 percent. Can’t beat that.

Ryan was Very patient with me, but I did not like getting multiple pages of the contract on my phone in micro sized print, I had to use a magnifying glass with my contacts. Customers should have this info prior to your rep visiting to activate the plan. Customer would be better prepared

I had been with Vivint for 15 years and then I stopped six months ago. I thought I didn’t need a system so I tried to buy one of the ones you buy at Costco. It did not fulfill the same security as the one I had at Vivint so I called and talked to the representative online for a price quote. I had to get new equipment but in the end the price was worth it and I feel safer and more importantly my family feel safer so thank you to Vivint and thank you to Mike. Who did the installation. I am a customer that’s been with this company Vivint for x amount of years and was buying a new house and they came out uninstalled my system and didn’t put my account on freeze till they re-install at my new address which was never explained when they did it. Now I have a bill for a system that is not monitoring or protection for my family and when I called them to dispute charges they said there’s nothing they can do. It’s sad we work hard each day to pay our bills but if something wasn’t explained on their end when doing it why is we’re responsible for something we have no control of. I find that highly inappropriate when I know ADT or B rinks customer service has been better on situation like that. I don’t know why I went back to them, listening to the field representative that says their service has got better as I can tell it has it’s just a rip-off.

He insisted on me asking questions and making sure my security was maintained throughout the visit. He knew exactly what he was doing and dove in without hesitation.

I made the mistake of listening to the salesman instead of reading the fine print carefully. I don't recall being told I was locked into this contract for 60 months. The monthly cost is far more than what is listed here. If you try to cancel you'll find out that you have to pay 30 months plus the equipment cost to get out of it. One of the sensors doesn't always work. I feel their practices are deceptive. I have learned a valuable lesson from this experience. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

The guy I initially spoke to did not tell me that the cameras would cost five dollars each per month for me to monitor with my phone. I was told one price but it turned out to be quite a bit more.

I was transferred twice and placed on hold multiple times to carry out minimal adjustments to my security plan. The background is noisy and the staff seemed unsure if they could assist me. It was not a good way to begin with a company. I seriously considered scrapping the whole thing. Forty-five minutes on the phone is excessive.

Quick with presentation, then about 15 minutes later the technician came to install and set up the equipment - although service was fast and customer service from the tech was thorough, I was caught off guard by the promptness (how quick the tech was able to come out to put in the equipment.) Good and thorough job installing the new Vivint system. The system seems to operate correctly. The installer was very courteous and seemed to have a good knowledge of the system. It will take some getting used to as this system is somewhat different than the old hard wired system that it replaced.

The peace of mind that Vivint is bringing me in my new home, in a new area is incomparable. The camera works great and the app is easy to use. Also connecting it to Alexa is a huge bonus feature. I feel more secure with my children in the home and they feel more secure as well. I underestimated what a home security system could bring. And it is affordable!

I don’t know what’s better the prices or the technician that came out and installed. Mr. ** was knowledgeable about the service. He explained everything in detail. He cleaned up behind himself. Best experience ever. He wasn’t satisfied with how he wired one part of the house. He offered to come back out and corrected it. He’s our technician for life.

I installed my Vivint Alarm system 4 years ago with the hopes that it would be a better experience than working with Brinks or ADT. What I found was there were eager to sell me equipment and get my install completed, but the system never worked correctly. In 4 years I very rarely had all my cameras working and getting support and customer service is is not in their vocabulary. They only want to sell you an upgrade and get you to buy the next piece of equipment. Cancelling my service took 4 hours of my time, even though I was no longer under contract. Their Chat agents have no access to help you with anything. Let alone my system if they put the keypad in the back of my house the doorbell would not connect, if they put it in the front; the camera over my garage would not connect.

Overall, very good experience with sales person and installer they answered all questions I had. They were professional and courteous. Would recommend to a friend or neighbor. System is a bit pricey, but happy with the quality and the features.

My internet router wasn't compatible with the alarm system. Technician added an extra device so that my router would work. I would like to get a new router compatible with the alarm system. And have you come to my house and remove extra device at a later date. The technician did a great job.

My experience in getting service with Vivint was a lot smoother and faster than I expected. The telephone reps were all very professional and helpful. They made sure I understood everything. The tech that to my home was great, he made sure that before he left I knew exactly how to use my system. He made sure I got familiar with all the functions of the pad and from my cellphone which was awesome as this is my first alarm system & was very nervous about being able to understand everything!

Mike had several challenges to be able to install the service and equipment for me. I'm 81 and have accumulated too much but we were able to accommodate Mike. Mike was very courteous and patient with us. He explained as he worked. He pointed out all of the features. When I had trouble doing the things as necessary Mike took over for me and did those things. Having Mike here was a pleasure. I'm happy to have the doorbell but I need to get people used to using it.

Excellent experience with install. Specially because he had a great installer/Technician. His name is Greg. He explained everything and answered all of our questions. And was patient with us when it came down to us decide where we wanted our cameras mounted. Greg also said if we had any questions regarding our system to text or call him. Which I think is an excellent customer service. Make Vivint more recommendable to family and friends. Thanks Greg!

Great customer service, salesman always on point. The equipment is awesome and easy to use. The installation was fast and non messy, once installed he explained all the equipment and answered all of our questions. I will greatly recommend Vivint to my fiends and family. Love how we can control everything on our phone and keep a safe peaceful home!

We are new customers and the process was quick and easy. The equipment is easy to use. They installed quickly and cleanly. The installation tech was good and knowledgeable about the products. The app is user friendly, with lots of great features. The no long term contract is a nice feature from Vivint.

The sales rep was really professional and explained the system and service in a lot of detail. He answered all our questions and was pretty knowledgeable. Being a family man himself, he understood all our concerns, and even a few experiences he had that we didn't think of. The installer showed up much faster than we expected (not certain, but I swear it was under an hour). He installed everything thoroughly and cleaned up after himself well, then gave a proper walkthrough of the system. When he left, I felt like an expert myself. The service and professionalism was stellar. Only time will tell if the equipment meets that high bar, but with a lifetime warranty, I'm sure we're in good hands.

The sales guys were great! Professional and polite. Price is really good for all of the equipment you receive along with the monitoring and recording of camera images. Our installation guy was great too! He was a one man show and got everything installed in a decent amount of time. We are excited to use this new company and will definitely refer friends.

Really good. Took care of what plan I needed. Made sure I got a good price and the tech was very cool and friendly. Took his time to explain how the system works and swapped out all the batteries and made sure everything was in working condition. Overall great. Easy and simple.

Our technician was professional and knowledgeable. He worked hard for us, asking and answering our questions. He spent the correct amount of time with us to make sure we got everything we needed and wanted. His installation was clarified before he did any drilling for placement. After installation we just couldn’t believe in what we had been missing out on! We HAD a Ring doorbell but it didn’t work properly. Now we have insight into our home at our fingertips.

I had security installed today by one of the best Vivint Tech, Anthony. He was on time at 8am on the dot. He contacted me one day prior to inform me of his next day arrival. He explained everything and at the end of the installment. He exudes professionalism and went over and beyond to ensure that installment was working properly and he cleaned up anything and everything off floors in each area equipment was installed. No technical issues and had everything that was needed. Kudos to Vivint, all Techs should take a page out of Anthony's book. I will not hesitate to refer my friends to this company. Very fast, courteous technician, system is simple to use and convenient with cellular app access, also more affordable than comparable companies. I like the new control panel and it is expandable with camera options as well, technician called ahead of time to let us know when he would be able to get to the house. In all very professional and polite and made sure we understood the system before he left. Great service. Five stars.

Michael was very awesome and informative. He walked us through the process and gave more insight on the systems he installed for us. I would definitely recommend Vivint to anyone and Michael. He was very kind. Michael helped us set up the app on our devices and helped us navigate the portal. He was very understanding and relatable to us.
