Hello, The Vivint setup was a very smooth and easy process. James walked me through everything slowly and gave professional opinion to determine what’s is truly needed for the home. He even took the time to train someone else in the midst! Lastly he allowed me to call him the next day once my internet was set up to finish the installation. Thank you!

I had the utmost pleasure having the amazing technician woman, Hannah! She was absolutely phenomenal, on so many levels. Not only is it a great system she made me feel so comfortable and safe. Love her! I would recommend this for anybody, especially if she is the person to install. She is absolutely amazing and made me feel completely secure. :) HANNAH IS THE BEST.

I am extremely happy with the service I was provided by my Technician Sean. He was super professional, friendly, patience. Made the whole experience enjoyable. Explain everything in detail. I am super happy customer. Super excited to test my new camaras and system. I am very happy with the service all around with Vivint.

I had service installed yesterday. Mixed feelings so far. Patio camera keeps indicating that there is someone on the patio, but there is no one there. Front door camera didn't capture my neighbor coming up to door & knocking. Driveway camera didn't load the video of my neighbor walking across my driveway. Less than 12 hours and I don't feel any better than I did with my previous monitoring company.

Jordan was a great technician! He was very thorough with the walkthrough and made everything super easy to understand. He was friendly, informative and the sales process and set up of the cameras was super quick and easy! I would absolutely recommend him to my friends if they want a system.

Our technician was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and took into consideration all of our needs as he designed the placement of the equipment. We were pleased with everything working as intended, and our technician took the time to work with our internet provider to get our wifi configured to communicate with the control panel.

Very informative, tech was prompt, & professional, had no questions after the service was set up as the tech explained everything thoroughly assisted with getting us set up on the app, great experience and I am excited to use the new services that will assist with the ease of managing our home even if we are away from home.

Sean was awesome and explained everything to me. Great service. Installed quickly and efficiently. The security system seems very easy to use convenient yet safe and effective. I like the app that goes with it as well pretty self-explanatory. I guess I have to keep writing until this app lets me submit this so I don’t know what’s going on.

Great service from the time I spoke with a customer representative to today’s installation by the technician. Would definitely recommend the service to others! The technician was professional and knew all the answers to our questions. I definitely will be adding on other services from the company in the future.

Mr. ** was amazing and explained the system in great detail. He was professional and prompt. He walked me through the setup process and how to operate the panel (even though I forgot some of it) and how to set up the system with the county sheriff's office.

The technician was excellent and worked with my schedule to get out install done just two days after our inquiry. He was efficient and very helpful. Thank you for helping us get all set up and explaining the add on options we have and look forward to adding on in the future. Can’t beat the cost for Vivint either. So glad we made the switch.

Corey our installer was very professional and helped us with all our needs. Went above and beyond to help. He cleared explained all the details of our system. How to change, adjust the system, arm and disarm, as well as giving us advice how to arm for different occasions. System install was very easy and technician easily assisted us with all updates we desired.

The installer was very professional in the job that was done, explaining the process from the beginning to the end showing me how to work the keypad and the Vivint app. I will definitely recommend the installer to friends and family members, he also showed up at the time that was told to me job well done.

Tech that came and set up everything was awesome down to earth and very knowledgeable, very friendly. Helped me out showed me how to do everything. Would definitely recommend, and if I recommend I want the same tech for all my friends and family. He was so nice I actually had him talk to my friend and she set up an appointment with him and everything. Will have all my friends call him.

Everything was as smooth as could be and had great experience from the Presentation to installation. So far everything is working as it should. We’ve been able to use our phone to watch and set up different settings with ease. We look forward to seeing it protect our family and house and when we move in to our new house and have it there as well. Thank you.

So very pleased with the professionalism and speed of the sales associate and technician! They installed our system the same day we purchased and the technician was very good about keeping us in the loop with where things were going to be and if we were okay with positioning. He was also great with making sure the components all worked properly and even fixed our door so the lock would work properly! Try impressed and pleased!!!

My technician Christopher arrived at 8 am ON THE DOT and I wasn’t even awake yet. He was extremely friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed and wanted for my family's safety. He was very thorough in explaining how the system works and how I can customize it. I was quoted 4-6 hours for install and he was in and out within 3!

Upgrading my alarm system has been the best decision, needed front and back cameras in my home. Not only that Vivint brought my old contract remaining by sending me a gift card to pay off my old alarm system, that is a plus, representative John was very helpful so was the alarm installation. Very professional. Thanks. 😊

The security system itself is fine, but the technicians they sent to my home were another story. First, the tech made holes in my walls and door but left sawdust everywhere without telling me or offering to clean it up. He used dog toys to covered up the sawdust from the security panel. The mess around the front and garage doors was just left there.

Very friendly agents, and technician was very proficient and friendly as well. Only downside was not getting the doorbell camera and the indoor camera, however I was informed it was due to a parts freeze until a later date.

The installation was done in a timely manner and I was very impressed with the installers, to have people come into my house and work as diligently as they did was impressive, and then have the knowledge to explain the ins and outs of the system shows how Vivint takes care of teaching their employees about the system and how it works. I highly recommend them if you are interested in a security.

Quick and easy install. Tech explained how to use the system to me. They were able to use existing sensors from old alarm system which saved me money. I had two water sensors, a smoke and carbon monoxide sensor, and a motion sensor installed. I am very happy with my new alarm system.

Adi was very informative and relatable. He listened to what we said we wanted and gave us the best options for a package in our price range. Her installation team was also wonderful and insightful. They even went after our dog when he ran out during the installation. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone who is interested in securing their home.

Matt was amazing and very knowledgeable about the system. My whole experience has been great and I am pleased with the equipment that was installed. I now feel safer in my home and have easier access. I will be looking forward to a long relationship with this company! Good Job!

Awesome customer service, wish the price was a little budget friendly, cheaper due to me being on a fixed budget. The technician that came out knew what he was doing and very people friendly. I would definitely recommend Vivint to my friends and family. I’m sure they would all love vivint

Service tech was extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable patient. Was able to get me all set up and everything working in very little time. Answered all my questions and assisted with everything. We covered all the equipment and options for additional service. Showed me also how to use each feature of the equipment.

Very professional and informative. Had old system in my home that was not working properly. Reviewed contract with Chris and upgraded system was installed the next day. Reprogramming was smooth with installer and instructions were simple. Would recommend using this for anyone looking for a great security system.

Santiago was polite, efficient, kind and informative. He did an excellent job. He was very patient with us senior citizens. The tech seems super user friendly and not too complicated. I love being able to use the app on my phone too. We’re happy we chose Vivint for our home security services.

Tristan was very professional and explained my new system to me. I will definitely tell a friend about your company. Tristan was on time, very nice and polite. He went step by step to so me what each thing that I got what the representative left off. When it was time for him to leave he made sure that I knew the system and the app. He was great.

This was the worst experience of my life. Alex was supposed to call me at 10:30 AM, but instead, he called at 11:00 AM. Initially, we agreed the call would last about 30 minutes, but it went on for two hours. During the call, Alex was incredibly rude and unprofessional in his communication. His tone was unfriendly, and it seemed like he did not want to talk to me. When I asked clarifying questions, he was dismissive and even rude. He spoke very quickly and unclearly, making it difficult to understand him.

The installers were very professional and informative. They took time to make sure I was satisfied and always asked where I would like things put. Before they left they explained the remote and how to use it. A book with instruction would be helpful to have on hand. I know I will not remember all the functions.

My installation was done quickly and professionally by a knowledgeable technician. I feel safer having the various sensors and camera installed. Thank y’all very much for security at a good value. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Michael is a great salesman. He was very helpful on explaining all the products and any questions I had. The technician was also great. He was very helpful too on explaining how the system works. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

They tried to problem solve by letting me know my resolution would take place outside 3 day cancelation window handcuffing me. Customer service on loyalty side’s mic keeps breaking and they don’t call you back. Installer was knowledgeable, but directs you back to customer service which is no help. Sales person made some promises that were not kept.

I really am enjoying my security system and Kevin was absolutely amazing and he was very patient with us. I couldn’t have chosen a better security system. I have referred my mother and supervisor with y'all. Kevin made this experience amazing and I feel safer at my house. I even thinking about getting the camera for the inside of my house

The technician Omar was very professional and thorough. He provided excellent customer service despite running into a few issue while conducting the install. Lastly he did an outstanding job explaining all of the features and also was extremely patient as we navigate the new system. Thanks for providing outstanding customer service.

Technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. He asked if we had any questions and taught us how to use the equipment with easy instructions. He also presented us with others options. He let's us know the difference between having the coinsurance for the equipment and what it meantime we did not purchase it. I would recommend Vivint to my friends.

Alex was wonderful when installing our system. He was very informative on how to use it and answered the questions we had regarding it. We are very happy with the installation and are excited to use our system! Alongside that, Zach was a wonderful salesman and helped us create our package with our budget and needs in mind! Account manager and installer were amazing…answered all my questions and did a fantastic job. I absolutely love the ease of the app and was able to get logged into everything - I will definitely recommend to my family and friends! Love that I can change music on my door bell.

The tech who installed the system was amazing. He was so professional and friendly. He explained each step while installing the equipment. I would recommend him and your company to others. The system is fairly easy to operate for all in my household. The pictures on the main pad are so clear.

This tech went above and beyond to set us up, wonderful service. The tech was knowledgeable of the equipment and the system. The wire runs were concealed and it was super helpful to know where the cameras were plugged in. I feel comfortable with the new security and will definitely be referring friends and family to this company.

Josh and Zeke were great and very helpful. I generally don’t answer the door for door-to-door sales, but Josh was immediately personable. Although this is a great product, Josh was 90% the reason I committed to purchasing. Zeke was great with the install and tutorial of the system. He did everything in his power to make the installation minimally invasive. I’d highly recommend both and Vivint for anyone looking to upgrade their home security.

I purchased my new Vivint security system a few days ago, and my sales rep, Sherry, has continued to surprise and delight me with his incredible customer support! He has texted me a few times each day to ask me how I’m doing and if I have any questions or issues I need any help with. When I replied that, "Yes, I actually do have some questions and concerns that I’d like to ask you about and get some clarification." He made his time available to come back over to my house when it was convenient for me and my crazy-busy schedule! Sherry is very polite and very personable! He’s also very knowledgeable and professional when speaking about Vivint security and he’s a great listener as well! I felt very comfortable asking him questions and I really felt heard because Sherry didn’t act like a shady pushy salesman trying to get my money!

Yes but friends and relatives already have one and I believe most of the neighbors have one already. Customer service was great and Corey did an excellent job installing our cameras but will return to install our door pad because the door is a custom made door and we have to make it fit.

Team was filled with friendly members who provided great service. Even with tech issues, they had a positive attitude and wanted the best for the client. They were straight forward and made the whole process a breeze. Great people and great service, and overall very satisfied with the whole outcome.

Well it started out a little rough, but once I called the customer service team they were able to make everything align so our security system could be installed as promised. From Sandy in CS to Brendan as the technician they were very professional and courteous and I would recommend Vivint to our friends and family. The explanation of how to use the system was simple just like the ease of use of the app/touchscreen home base. This I'll make it easy to explain to the rest that we're not here at the time of installation. Thank you again for going above and beyond.

He did such a good job. He explained everything very well. Is very nice and professional. Very courteous. Answered all the questions we had and was very patient with us. Is very neat and organized when installing the devices. I only wish I would have chosen Vivint instead of ADT.

I would like to cancel services. Equipment was not installed and conflicting information was provided. Customer service had a hard time canceling within 24 hours within 3 day cancellation period. Please cancel. Please cancel services. Agent knocked on door around 8pm. Was not supposed to be in apartment complex. Please cancel.

My technician, Jermaine was very knowledgeable of the services, quick, helpful, and polite. I am looking forward to my new services from Vivint! He installed my new system and gave me a tutorial on how everything worked! I love being able to see and control everything from my phone. I will definitely recommend to others.

Conrad was my instal pro today. Great Job and efficient. Thorough and very helpful. I feel comfortable with my new system. He was helpful in assisting with all the promotion available. He cleaned up after the install process and explained all the features available and how to change settings through the app and the main system panel.

Shannon did amazing during my installation and has great attention to detail. I would book Shannon every time to do my installs. I’m glad I was able to have this experience from Vivint! I will continue to recommend to friends and family! All of the wires are seamless and can barely tell where they are. I love the way everything looks and the way everything turned out!

I had a very good experience with the sales person and install tech with Vivint. They were both friendly. Kind, knew their product and were respectful as I took time to get the product that I wanted. It was a pleasure talking with them and doing business with them. No pressure.

Setup was very easy, they sent all forms over via text and I was able to fill out and sign everything instantly. Installation took about 2 hours to fully complete including a walkthrough on how to use everything.

I’m a little disappointed about the fact that the exterior camera is hardwired. I wasn’t able to have an exterior camera installed, due to owner restrictions of penetrations through the exterior. A wireless/rechargeable camera is not available through this company, and I will have to go elsewhere to find an exterior camera that is wireless.

There has been no follow up on my garage door I have a two door garage and only one garage door has been set up & I let the salesman know, Will, and he has failed to respond after 2 phone calls & 2 text messages. So only 1 garage door is set up on my 2 car garage door as of today-December 18, 2024. Our contract was initiated on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Alex was professional and friendly. Courteous as well. I would gladly recommend his service. Working with Vivint has proven to be easy and comfortable. I look forward to using the service in the future. Good, good, good, good.

Zack and Josh were excellent representatives of your company. They are very courteous and knowledgeable about your products and services. They also instructed me on the use of the alarm system and all of the options available. Also uploaded the app on my phone. Zack and Josh are assets to your company.

Kyle was very professional and very timely!!!! I am very pleased with this service. He offered other services and recommended extra services when I am ready. I was impressed by the neatness of my technician. He was so helpful. He also gave me some helpful tips on saving money with Vivint.

Got my thermostat changed by them and heat stopped working so did the AC. After contacting my installer there’s not a response at all. Called Vivint, they had me taking the thermostat off and do a wire test which is pretty dangerous for some people. Then proceeded to tell me my AC is broken! A Brand new unit and say they are responsible for it. And I need to contact my AC guy! Ridiculous to break your stuff and tell you to figure it out yourself

We've had Vivint for over 10 years and recently they missed 2 separate activations of the smoke detector. Never contacted us through the panel, never called us and NEVER called the fire dept. Had we not been home the house would have been burned down!

Happy with both Nilsson and Zek. They both made my starting service with Vivint very understanding and easy. I appreciate both!! Looking forward to starting my home security with Vivint. I hope all goes well so my family feels safe at our new home, and if it does, I would definitely recommend Vivint to my friends and family.

I was looking for a security system for my home & was recommended to try this one. I can honestly say I am very pleased with the service. The worker was very nice and patient. He explained how the service works and answered all my questions making me feel comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a security system in their home!

I have been calling customer service several times. My call goes to the Philippines where they don’t speak very good English and they are unable to hear me on the phone and I can hear them. I made over 10 calls and no resolution. I would like to cancel my service.

We had a great experience with both our salesperson and a really great installer. He was on time. Very pleasant. He installed everything very neat and clean. Then he explained everything that he was doing and how our security system worked. Helped us install everything on our phones and explained it to us so good. We would highly recommend Brandon as the installer and Corey ** as our salesperson.

My experience today with the installers was amazing. The sales were amazing in the beginning. I highly recommend this company, and I have peace of mind to go to sleep at night. Don’t leave my home. I appreciate their hard work. A peace of mind is very important to me and now I have it.

The service with Vivint works perfectly. The sound and visuals are much better than the store bought cameras we previously used. Knowing that my family is safe and secure now with this reliable system takes a big burden off of us. The access from my phone to do many functions with this system is very convenient. Our technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to go through each step and function of the system to ensure that I understood and also to ensure everything was working properly. Best investment we’ve made thus far.

Mark did an awesome job setting everything up. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. He said explained how the equipment worked and how to use the app. He came in earlier than the original time, surveyed the areas for installation and proceeded quickly to get equipment and explain what he would be doing.

Marion was great. He was very explanatory and helpful. He gave some advice on devices that I didn’t really understand. He was also kind to my kids that were very anxious to see what he was doing. He also was able to solve a problem we had after he left and I was very appreciative of that.

We almost didn't go with Vivent due to a few issues getting started however the staff was amazing at reaching out to assure we were set up properly. Once we got through that I truly feel we got one of the best installation techs. Brandon is the best tech on the team. I would recommend your service to anyone wanting easy effective home security.

William was absolutely great. He took his time installing all my equipment perfectly and was helpful in the entire process. I didn’t have a dead bolt in my door and he was patient and helped us install the dead bolt to put in the smart key pad lock. I’m so glad he was our technician. I will definitely recommend Vivint to others and William is awesome.

Charles came out and went above and beyond what he was supposed to do. After failed attempts with the spectrum Wi-Fi he called customer service and helped get them to understand what needed to be done. I truly appreciate someone who takes the time with a customer vs just doing their job and rushing to leave to get to their next job because they need the check. Customer service goes a long way with me, and I will definitely be recommending Charles to all my friends, family, and co-workers.

Love my new Vivint alarm system. The installer was great but the back office system was giving him problems. Not his fault, he did a great job and was professional. It just took an extra hour or so for the office people to get things right, just a little frustrating.

Brett was extremely kind and informative. He set up everything so quickly and troubleshooted any hiccups we had during the installation. He was also very personable and professional. I am extremely excited to be a Vivint customer and I will be recommending this company to lots of friends and family members.

Great salesman. Spoke and explained everything, answered questions that were asked as well the tech set up everything quickly, explained the usages of the equipment, cleaned up after himself great and took us step by step. The price of the package was a great deal and took care of everything for us not bothering us when getting installed.

Awesome experience from start to finish! They set up a time to go over the set up. Walked me through each icon, set up my codes, tested each icon and answered all my questions. I feel very confident that my home and family are protected. This is my first time using Vivint and I am very pleased!

Technician was very polite, but did not get all of my items to work on the system. Did not connect my Nest thermostat, could not get my garage to connect to the myQ. Returned at 11 pm to finish installing the front door lock, which I had to re-install the next morning because screws were falling out. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I was told by the sales man that my garage door opener would be able to connect to this system and the technician said it wasn’t possible. Same with my front door lock system. I would like another technician to come out and try to connect these items being it was a main reason I switched to this company.

This is the absolute worst company I have ever experienced. I have been a customer for over four years before I noticed they were stealing my money. My account was set up on auto-pay, and once I found out, they applied the credit to my account, not the bill. Thus, the money is just sitting. Fast forward, I found out about the money they owed me on the account because I moved and started a new account, the tech that came out to my home played a dirty game. I was supposed to be going through Citizens Bank we had a conversation about not wanting a Vivint loan due to all the bad reviews however, my credit was locked I lifted the lock and he came back the next day and still put me through them without my knowledge, on top of the foolary he want over the amount on my loan therefore charging me a fee I was unaware of.

I love how everyone was just so easy to work with. We joke a little and honestly that’s what sold me. They were nice and the Technician made it easy for me to fully understand my alarm system better. It was difficult to find the perfect placing of the cameras but he made it work and I was satisfied with the outcome.

You’re CHARGING ME for equipment that NOBODY has come out to install! I refuse to pay for anything that I have yet to receive! Send someone to install the camera system that I’m paying you for!!!! I’m deeply disappointed in your service to me at this point! Please help us by sending someone out to install what we’re paying you to install!

Vivint wasn’t my first pick even though it’s a little bit more expensive, my wife convinced me and their product was just better, like the fact the camera has 189 degree view instead of 90 degrees and you can talk through the camera and people can actually hear and understand you.

Bad customer service. Very Disappointed. Was on phone for over the phone was on for over 2 hours being transferred continuously after I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager. Very Disappointed. Wish I would have never called or gave my Cc information as I was also double charged for equipment. I didn't authorized to be installed in the home and the tech took advantage that I told him I didn't know anything about the system or how it worked

Daniel was great. He was very helpful during a stressful time that I am going through. I am going through a hostile divorce and needed to be safe in the home from the man I’m married to currently. I feel so much better now. He was patient and understanding during this difficult time for me & my family.

He did an exceptional job, completing the installation neatly and efficiently. He also took the time to walk me through all the systems, ensuring I fully understood how everything works. On December 12, 2024, Nick **, and a coworker knocked on our door to tell us about Vivint. Our kids were being so loud and the dog was barked but Nick was so kind and understanding. He listened to what I needed and gave us the best deal while also explaining everything so clearly. Then Sean came to install the system and he was amazing. He did his job quickly and efficiently and was so professional. I was very impressed with these two! I definitely wouldn’t have purchased if it wasn’t for how kind and professional they were. They really made the experience seamless.

Vivint’s customer service on the phone was excellent when I inquired about their service. Addison was easy to understand and efficient. My installer Derrick was friendly, patient and knowledgeable! I liked him and the product so much that I scheduled him to place a system on our summer home. He also reassured me that he would be there for any help we need with the system down the road.

Do NOT use Vivint. You will regret it. Worst experience in every way. Read Reddit or Google reviews first. Included is a pic of an outdoor camera after 6 months destroyed by water intrusion due to poor installation. They said they only have a 120 day warranty but they'd sell me a new camera for $500 plus $119 installation.

I was in customer service for 39 years, got Very great customer service from phone rep to installer, Summer and her boss. All very caring and personable and professional. At first I didn’t think I needed extra security but when the team at Vivint reached out to me their words of reassurance changed my mind. Daniel ** came and made the install a seamless and time efficient process. Installer was very helpful. On time and I am not good with texts and etc and he helped a lot. Went out of his way to help me and he installed and we had to go to internet service as my phone would not work at the place of installation.

Vivint smart home security is worst experience I’ve ever had. All they do is upsell!!! Their call center and customer service is out of the Philippines and they can’t speak English. I paid them $100 to fix a broken doorbell camera. It worked for maybe 3 days and they want another $100 to come out or buy their warranty for an additional $10 a month. The Philippines has no American number they’ll give out. So you have to talk to someone with 100 Philippines’s yelling in the background and the one you’re on the phone with can barely speak English. But they’ll call you 5 days a week to sell their new equipment with Americans that speak English, but after the sell, they’re done with you - off to the Philippines you go.

We had Aaron out this AM to install the Ring bell, inside control panel, door sensors, etc. He was prompt and professional and everything went well. Aaron showed me where the products would be installed, helped me pick ideal locations for the devices and the control panel, used care in our newly remodeled home and finished installing and setting up the system in the estimated time provided. They enter my info wrong and the secret word incorrectly. They kept me on hold and kept giving the runaround. I am not satisfied with the overall process. I need to be compensated for this whole process. I have sensor that I have no idea where they are located at and you do have the battery size needed for the sensors. I needed to be credit or camera or something.

Spencer the Vivint Representative offered me the best deal possible that met my needs and budget. Technician made wonderful recommendations as to where to place equipment for the best coverage to protect my property and vehicles. I will be recommending Vivint highly to family and friends.

Both the salesman who quoted me the system and the tech who did the in home consult and install were informative, low pressure, easy to communicate with, readily available, and helpful. System components are attractive and discrete. Monthly monitoring costs were reasonable. User interface on the app, base station, and keypad are all simple and functional.

Axel was very helpful and explained the system so that it was easy to understand how the different pieces interacted. He even stopped back after it was installed to help make sure I had it suited to my needs and wants. The installer was also great at explaining how it all interacted.

I called to set up service and was told I had a 10:30 appointment the upcoming Sunday. I received a text stating I would be getting a phone call for setup. No one ever called. I then called only to be to told to wait another 20 minutes. Still no one called. We then received a text saying our appointment was never in the system and we either had to be accommodated through texts or set another appointment. When all done, this took about 3 hours of wasted time, constantly being transferred to different departments and sitting on hold for hours. Although we finally got set up, this was a horrible first impression.

I recently purchased some cameras and the technician, which I believe his name was Marcos was so very kind and helpful with the whole process. He was ask very respectful and said it was okay when I apologized for my house being a mess since we are still moving in. As of right now, everything is going good so I would recommend this company.

The experience was wonderful. Connie worked around a lot of different obstacles in my home for putting my system in place accurately and that I enjoyed. She did not complain one time, but she asked permission for everything which let me know if she respected my home. I enjoyed her friendly countenance demeanor, and conversation. It was wonderful. My system failed 1 day after installation. When I called I was advised a technician would come out to check it in 3 days!!! I asked for a manager and it was resolved after 45 minutes with assistance. The issue was resolved only after my constant request for service today. System failure 1 day after installation is unacceptable.

My experience with Vivint when I called to inquire about it was good. After that I called to add a couple of things to be installed, I had the absolute worst experience to where I just really thought about canceling service.

Converted from a competitor to Vivint! So far so good - I like the camera features, door locks, and security panel and app. Much better than Alarm.com! So far I’m happy- it’s been just day one of install but it’s pretty easy to use and lots of customization available- I have better options and equipment than with my previous provider.

The man who can to our house did really well with setting up everything. He gave us suggestions on how to make our home safer and really walked me through on how to use everything. If I ever need security for my home anywhere else or even recommend anyone for at home cameras, Vivint are the ones I am using.

Both the sales rep and the installation technician conducted themselves in a very polite and professional manner. We do have one issue and that is we just got a notice that the sensor on the back door has a bad battery. We were not explained how to replace it but have a call out to our sales representative.

Prices for each thing installed was not explained and the amount of drilling that was done to the walls and doors I wasn’t aware. I rent so I’m a little nervous about my move out when it’s time. I still don’t know how much I’m paying for each item and I honestly don’t think I need all this stuff.

I was very hesitant upon the door to door sales representative but he was very convincing. He answered each question I had and reassured me along the way. Equipment was installed on the same day and the technician was just as good. He may have taken him about 1hr to 1/2 hours for installation. He had several things to accommodate any obstacles that he faced. The system works great - love the app.. I don’t have to leave my desk while working which is a plus!! Highly recommend.

First time getting a doorbell Ring camera. The installation was quick and fast. The system is very understandable. You gotta have WiFi/internet to get the most out of the system when gone. I really didn’t understand the reason to opening a credit line of $5,000 but it’ll definitely be reliable in the future.

Even though the process was very professional and lots of eye contact, there was a problem. Everything looks ugly. My door has a missing latch. My wall has a hole in it. Wish there was a way to install a bit cleaner but everything works and my girl likes it so I guess it'll be fine.

I have had Vivint for about 6 years. I had 2 window sensors that went bad and are no longer working. Had a tech come to the house to repair or replace the sensors. However, his best solution was to delete the sensors from the system rather than replacing them as requested leaving my home in an unsecured state with an alarm system I was paying for but did not provide complete security as expected based on the contract agreement. They are quick to sell and install your equipment but you can forget anything being resolved beyond the initial install.

My Smart Home pro first recommended my home requirements and then installed all the equipment professionally. Then took his time to explain each piece of equipment, its purpose and how to use. Installation process was excellent, great customer service and looking forward to having a monitored smart home keeping entire home and family safe and secure.

The install was very well done. And fit my needs for my house and everything was explained perfectly on how to use and what to do. Most affordable service I have seen out here and feel comfortable adding more to my house if I feel the need to. Clear communication with about the time they would be there and if it was okay if they were early. Love that we have the keychain to handle the system from anywhere in the house.

Vivint is a scam! I can’t get rid of them, I’ve been paying more than $90 per month since they locked me in a contract! Once they get you in it’s very difficult to get out. I pay more than $5000 in total for nothing!!

Updated on 09/14/2025: WARNING, HUGE SCAM. Vivint won't tell you that they will lock you in a unbreakable 5 year contract. I sign up for Vivint service july 2024 and I'm still waiting for them to finish my install. The smart panel is junk it never works, the door bell doesn't work, the dvr system and cameras are garbage. Customer service is a joke. Vivint solution to any problem is to send a tech out but the techs say there's nothing wrong or don't show up. So yeah don't use this scam security service. Also Vivint is involved in dozens of lawsuits for dishonest businesses practices. One lawsuits was 186 million dollars. STAY CLEAR!!!!

Harold did great. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. The Vivint experience leading up to the install was a little frustrating, but Harold made it all better when he came out a second time. He was there the first time because there was some confusion on the service end on what he was out here for but he was friendly and corrected the issue for next time.

During the install, the technician told me that he did not have the proper equipment to calibrate the door sensors. He let me know that he would come back, but I haven’t seen him in over three days> When I called to ask if they’re coming back, no one has answered me.

We just got this service and we almost got the whole enchilada on doorbell, door locks, back camera, front camera, and door and window alarms, etc.. and the next day came out of town. And at first the doorbell camera wasn’t working but as soon as the mail man came the camera turn itself and alarmed us… so I think we are content with it so far.

The technicians were super experts. They walked me around the entire facility. During the walk though the technicians provided their expert opinions on camera placement. Also, taking time to listen to my opinions concerning the cameras. We collaborated on fields of view to ensure every avenue of approach was covered. Other promotional offers were provided for me, my home, and family. They should me exactly how to navigate the system and even sent me YouTube videos. They ensured I understood everything before they left.

I had the absolute pleasure of having Josh ** and Jeremiah install my Vivint cameras, and I couldn’t be happier with their work! They were incredibly kind, patient, and thorough, taking the time to ensure everything was done perfectly. Not only did they go above and beyond with the installation, but they also made some awesome suggestions to improve my system.

He made the install look flawless by running cables inside wall and closets. I couldn't be happier and he also was very time efficient. Damon gets 5 starts from the Flores family! Thank you Damon

The installation went well. The tech was nice and explained everything. The only issue I have is Vivint didn’t make sure my indoor camera was at the time of but I paid for it already. So I had to reschedule another date to have the tech come back and install it. I would’ve preferred them to be prepared. Also I was told I would be paying $136 a month on the phone when I signed up but yesterday it said $189. Which I didn’t agree to. Other than those 2 things I am pleased.

Just our system installed yesterday and we are loving it! The sensors tell us exactly what doors open. Laying in bed last night I was thinking how I wish it was a little bit more cool in the house and I loved how the app allowed me to change the temp of the house right in bed. We love this system and are looking forward to adding more eventually!
