Worst Customer Service Experience – Avoid at All Costs. I’ve never encountered customer service as terrible as Vivint’s. The representatives were extremely rude and dismissive, and they make canceling their service nearly impossible. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone, being bounced around and repeatedly told I couldn’t cancel — despite having paid off my equipment a year ago.

Brendan was polite, informative, and quick. He made sure to review everything before beginning and then took the time to walk me through the new system before leaving. During the installation, he was quick and not disruptive. I’m happy with everything and know that I have easily accessible support services if needed. Overall a very positive experience.

Just bought a home and the previous owner had Vivint service before, so he left sensors and cameras behind. Sales rep and installer were both great but I was told my equipment was going to be double-checked and batteries all replaced and that wasn’t the case. It was more of a hurry up and get the service started than carefully examining equipment and replace all batteries.

I was a Ring camera owner, and became one when some lawn tools were stolen from my front porch. I never kept my batteries charged on my devices, and the coverage was reliant on my iffy Wifi services. Spencer was a great salesman and really has a passion for security and knowledge of your product. I am a single mom of three and having a security system watching over myself and my boys, definitely gives me peace of mind, knowing we’re safer in our home.

Installer walked through the process from start to finish. Informed on product knowledge and placement. Help set up apps and smart connection to the home. Also informed about solar and other upgrades to system etc in a few years if you prefer. Explained the warranty and the procedure to get help after he left.

The sales rep Alex S. was pounding the pavement in the rain and we set up a time after most the kids were down for him to come back. He talked a lot about product but what sold us were the actual videos. Not only could we actually read license plates, we could get clear pictures of issues in real time, even from our phone from far away. We could help our neighbors and protect our homes at the same time. The ability for the cameras to detect all the audio was beyond incredible. I can allow the kids in and out or the babysitter and know who it is at all times. It makes me disappointed in our old service. We will never go back.

Our salesman was really good with us however, the installation did not go as smooth. We also did not receive our key fobs that we were told we would get. Could someone please make sure that we get those. Also, we were told that due to the electrical problem that we had due to installation that we would receive six months free and I have not received anything stating that. Thank you.

Christian came by last night and convinced me to switch from my previous security system to this new one. I’m getting more products and a great deal. I really like how all my cameras and system are on the same app and it’s super user friendly. I would recommend them to my neighbors and I’m glad to have the peace of mind that comes with this system.

Tech could not have been nicer but had issues the first day he came by so he had to come back the next day and had issues again. A lot of time wasted but still want to give Vivint a chance. Hope future business goes smoother. Hope to see better work in future.

Kadin did a great job explaining everything to me. He was kind and took time to answer my questions. He got the installation appointment setup. Oscar came out to my house the next day and got the equipment installed. He was very friendly and explained how the equipment works. Overall experience was great!

Adam is a very professional and a nice person. He Has a great attitude about his work and the equipment. Very knowledgeable about the product that he is selling. Considerate of our time. He is willing to help you have a good understanding of how the product works and I would definitely refer other customers to him. So far we are pleased with the equipment even though it has only been a few days.

Very nice Technician. Explains everything to me. I’m very happy. I love the system. It’s very easy to work. I will recommend it to all my friends. I feel very safe with it and as I stated in conversation before the technician was very very nice and very professional. He knows his job.

From start to finish, my experience with Vivint was excellent! Mike, the rep who installed my system, was professional, personable, and efficient in getting everything set up. He was not only knowledgeable but also had a great sense of humor. He took the time to walk me through the system and made sure I felt confident using it.

Noah was fantastic! He was very professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process smooth and easy. He answered all of our questions and made sure we were confident with our new system. He installed the system and leave no mess! We are happy with our new alarm system and We highly recommend Noah!

The staff is incredibly kind and quick to respond. Our system and the app is also very user friendly. It feels like we are getting a lot for our money! I love the option to text with staff vs calling. It made the whole process much more convenient. Noah in particular was great to work with. There was a minor delay in starting service and he was quick to make things right. Our home already had Vivint equipment installed from the previous owners. Reactivating service was incredibly easy! The technician was able to walk me through most of it via text messages which was very convenient. Very pleased with our experience so far!

James did an outstanding job guiding us through the process and clearly explaining every detail. His knowledge and professionalism gave us confidence in our decisions. We chose to purchase more because we felt it aligned perfectly with our goals. We're also considering Vivint for our solar panel needs based on this great experience. Thank you!

Both guys were very professional and were able to put a package together to suit my needs for my home. Tanner worked seamlessly to complete the installation of the equipment. He also was very thorough in explaining all the features of the app to both me and my wife. A great thank you to the team.

I got employee pricing and was fully aware of what I signed up for and pricing. Tech showed up and additional equipment was added. He tried to charge me $150 more than the correct price. He called supervisors who gave me three different prices. No one knows pricing, employee discounts, or even what charges were for. Spent over an hour trying to get correct pricing. Tech rolled his eyes at me and was not friendly from this point forward. Very disappointing experience.

The installation setup on the phone very easy. I had to move my installation date several times due to my closing date changing. Each time the representatives (Cyril, Amanda, Graham, & Brandon) assisted me with patience and kindness. The day of my installation was wonderful. Bryan, the technician, was the best! He answered every question I had, and I had A LOT! He was also friendly which is excellent when a stranger is in your home.

Tech left saw dust and wire trimmings everywhere. Lacked the proper materials to do the install how I wanted, so wires were left exposed. Also the tech didn’t not know how to install my garage door controller and said “oh probably isn’t compatible” however I did it myself when he left. Instead of just calling someone who knew what to do instead wanted to lie to me.

The Technician Correy did an amazing job installing the camera. He explained to me in details on how to use it. His very nice and friendly. He even took my old camera so I don’t have to climb and get it myself. I would highly recommend him to others. Thank you for your hardwork.

The appointment was set up quickly. Technician was on time and very professional and efficient. Set up was easy and explained everything very thoroughly. I love the quality of the cameras. It’s clear and can hear everything that is taking place. Love that they are connected to local sheriff office. Makes me feel comfortable and safe!

My wife and I have not had good luck finding a good system. So a buddy of mine told me about Vivint. Hunter came out and explained everything. He even gave my dog pets which was a bonus. He took his time to explain everything. Didn't sell me any added things that I didn't need.

My tech was very helpful and knowledgeable about the job and explained everything in detail. Very quick and neat doing his job and I and my family are very satisfied with his service and help that he gave us in to understanding the system and I am very happy with the service in complete. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Javier from Vivint, and I can confidently say this was the best experience I’ve ever had with a technician in my home. From the moment he arrived, Javier was professional, courteous, and incredibly informative. I explained what I needed, and not only did he listen carefully, but he also walked me through everything with clarity and patience. What really stood out was how I told him I was on a tight deadline — and Javier didn’t just meet it, he went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed on time without cutting corners. His attention to detail and commitment to getting it right exceeded all my expectations. Vivint is lucky to have him — and if you get Javier as your technician, consider yourself in great hands!

Mario was very helpful and work was very clean, very accurate on use of device, explained everything perfectly how to operate. Was very polite and great with our animals, made the operation of the system very smooth, mope and easy to use for the whole family. Feel safe with our Vivint on our home. Would recommend to a friend or family member. Glad we went with Vivint.

Eric was amazing technician. Very patient and explain the security sysytem. Very professional and knew the equipment very well. Wonderful customer’s sevice is very important to me and Eric is definitely five stars. Eric will do well in this field of work. Knows his work. Eric deserves a raise for such amazing experience.

I had a short timeline to work with as I was leaving town. The previous owners of my home hadn’t cancelled their system. Lindsay ** worked with us to turn it around quickly so that we could do same day activation for me after the previous owners cancelled their system. And Edward ** came at 6 on a Friday night to do the activation. Plus he answered all my questions before, during and after the activation process. I appreciated the quick turn around and late hours from both of them. It was a very positive experience.

On my initial appointment the technician didn't show up and didn't call. After that you called to reschedule. I explained what happened and you offered me $300.00 discount since I waited all day long at my business and you were a no show. You made a new appointment and showed up but when I asked for my discount your technician said she knew nothing about it. She told she couldn't start unless I signed documents. I also put down a deposit and I don't see a credit. I still don't have my credit for $300.00. The technician kept asking me to sign off at the end but wasn't even finished testing system and never help me or even asked me if I had my app set up and just wanted to leave not even asking if I was satisfied or if I had any questions.

Telephone consultation was a bit slow because of system technical issues, but installation technician was very knowledgeable and patient until the process was successfully completed. We think a personal appointment would have been easier for us, but the process worked great as is. We will be consulting again for specifics about the system installed in our new home later next week. Thanks.

First and foremost, the technician brought his wife with him. They claimed she also worked for Vivint. They were nice, but also it was stressful for me to have multiple people in my house at once. Nothing was explained to me in detail. My garage unit still isn’t working to sync with Vivint and the sensor on my front door showed low battery and when I asked about that they told me it needed to settle in and would change. It never did.

Great customer service, went above and beyond to install and made it convenient as well. Our tech was Anthony ** and his ability to solve problems one after another to find a solution and made sure we were set up in one day, was amazing. I will definitely be recommending Vivint to family and friends.

We had our security system installed yesterday, including fully integrated security/camera/light/temp/door lock control using our phones or a panel in the house. Jason ** installed our system and then thoroughly demonstrated and explained all the features. He was extremely professional, kind, and courteous. Our experience with Vivint has exceeded our expectations. Our primary home is several hours away. We now have complete remote control over our home when we aren't here. What a comforting feeling knowing Vivint has our back.

Honestly the person who explained me the system and everything was so clear and honest all the time, so respectful, that I couldn’t resist to acquire it, his gentle voice and the way he offer the service, his name is Aleksander. The system is working perfectly at this time, still waiting for final installation but I expect that they finish soon.

The employee, Alfredo, who completed my installation was the ULTIMATE PROFESSIONAL!!! He took the time to explain to me every piece of equipment I was receiving and how to work it. I appreciate his attention to detail and finding that the previous tech that came out charged me for a service he did not render and one I also did not ask for. He was honest and I appreciate the work.

My tech was very awesome. He did a fantastic job with the installation. He was very professional and courteous. He showed me everything I needed to know about my new system. He took the time out and made sure I understood the app. He did everything that I asked him and answered all the questions I had.

Not satisfied because equipment (cameras light) not working correctly. They have send a technician out to my house three times and light is still not working. The installation was not installed to my liking. It had to be moved somewhere else because they were not able to put it on the wall I picked

Cody ** was excellent. He completed the install much quicker than anticipated, was super helpful and knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly. Excellent experience! Would recommend Cody and so far Vivint to anyone that asks. So far am very pleased with the operation of the system. Looking forward to customizing it to do even more.

Just started today, installation was good. I would recommend. It was a little more expensive than I thought to get a new panel. I was aware I might have to get a new panel because the place we rented hadn’t been activated for 4 years. Nice system overall, as far as I can tell. I didn’t like that I had to sign up for 24 months as a rental unit tenant.

After shopping around for weeks to find a security system finally my son told me about Vivint. Customer service rep provided me with the best plan and advise for my home. I am very happy with the security system, easy to use, professional and good installation team, and big saving from other company! Definitely I will recommended to my friends!

I was so pleased with the service that I received from the entire Vivint staff! Xeno was the first to come to my door and explain the whole process and discuss everything that I would need for my system. He was so kind and so helpful and I appreciate all of his work. My technician, Jason, installed the whole system for me flawlessly. Jason’s customer service was one of the best I’ve ever received from a company. From my experience with Jason and Xeno, I can confidently say that Vivint is an incredible company with even more incredible workers. I will highly recommend to anyone I come across and the future. :)

I'm very happy with my install I had a seasoned employee who was very knowledgeable of the system and proficient you can tell that he knew what he was doing!!! The technician was polite and timely the service was great! I will highly recommend! I don't have anything else to say

Pretty sure I got the technician’s name correct. Service was impeccable, from the initial call within seconds of submitting the quote request to the confirmation call received for the appointment, and other communication throughout the process. Technician was knowledgeable and immensely helpful in ensuring I was installing the correct equipment for proper coverage of my home. Will definitely recommend to others.

Robert did a great job installing all the products but he hit a snag when trying to connect the SmartHub with the iPhone App. He spend many hours trying to debug and we had the same issue on many devices. They ended up installing a beta version of the software which seemed to work and fix the issues. Everything seems to still be working but it worries me that we are not on a stable version of software and one that is being tested in beta. I am worried that we might encounter issues in the future after our probationary period and the issues we originally had might return. With such a special issue it would be reassuring from your company that you will always be there if I need service because of this problem. I know Robert also sent this information to the engineering group. Please reach out if you would like more feedback.

I’ve only had this for 3 days but thus far I love it!! The visual is good and I can actually hear who’s ever at my doorstep! I’ll most definitely recommend Vivint to a friend or family member. Also I like how I can move the camera anywhere there’s an outlet. I’ll give Vivint five stars and five thumbs up. Salute to Vivint.

The only reason I give 2 stars is because the very last tech who was Chris (the third agent to help) was the one who solved my problem and because of him I give two and not 1. The first guy who came out was DESPERATE TO MAKE A SALE. ”Today is the only day you can do this Mr. **,” he would say. And the second one who did all the installations his name is Perry, he seemed alright at first but as a couple days went by I told him about my issue with No A/C coming out my vents , I called and he said do this and that and call me back 15 min. Nothing, so we spoke again FaceTime, did something again and he said, "Call me back 15 min." He never answered. Again I text him. "Perry, it’s getting hot in here. 81 degrees!" He did not reply and my family went to sleep with fans and open windows. This morning I spoke with Chris and he noticed the white wire was supposed to be in the W-2 slot and not the W. Air was cold again.

From my first call with sales to the installation today VIVINT has provided excellent customer service. Our technician, Dillon, provided exceptional service, took the time to explain the system, and best options for securing our home. Having the peace of mind that the home is secure is priceless. I feel much safer already!

With the intervention of Technician Ray **, now my wife and I feel more secure in our own home. His great expertise, outstanding professionalism and excellent customer service, has set my home a more secure place for us. Your company needs more people like him. When Technician Ray came to the house, he performed a survey of the area, based on our needs, determined the equipment needed and proceeded with the installation. Done in no time to our expectations.

The installers arrived on time and knew their stuff. The equipment is first class and all integrated well. They spent extra time training us to be sure we were happy. Answered all questions to our satisfaction, and cleaned up after themselves. I would advise anyone looking for a security system to choose Vivint.

On time, professional and extremely knowledgeable about equipment and set up. The two installers that came out were great. We walked the property and found perfect placement for cameras. They ran power and wiring for the cameras and system and placed them neatly out of the way. It was an overall great experience. I would highly recommend to anyone having a security system installed.

Vivint has a smart cameras that capture clearly visible objects with specific burglars. We’re happy with Zach the sales manager and Brian the professional installer. Well explained on how to use and manipulate the cameras and everything else. We’re looking forward to seeing more of these. I’ll recommend them to everyone who is interested in alarm systems. Ariel was very professional and kind. He did a great job with everything and showed patience as well. He was very informative and made sure we understood how everything would work! I would definitely recommend him. He was very patient with my children watching him and asking him questions. He even let my son help him with a few things.

Excellent tech! Had some challenges, but resolved quickly and kept me informed of his progress. Good communicator and knowledgeable in his work. Easy with whom to work, polite, and mindful of his time. He showed wonderful people skills. I would like to continue to work with him in the future as needed.

Great job. The tech was very helpful and knowledgeable about the equipment. He was polite. Made sure everything was to my satisfaction and all cameras inside and outside the bar. He took the time to show me how to add and delete users.

Your tech Carlos was so rude, did not listen where to put the equipment at, did not care about solve questions about how the system work and avoid to talk to me. The system was on my name and all was send to my phone number, and just talk to my husband cause I told him the camera was in the wrong place. But Leo, the sales guy really make it better coming multiples times to solve the problem and being super professional about everything even if was his first sale. My appointment was cancel at last minute (by the tech), for the second appointment the tech “had a flat” and the 3rd time was 20min late. So be late 3 times in the same day and on top have and attitude… this tech is going to cost you money guys.

I was a former Vivint customer for 12 yrs. I returned to try the service again. Today has been an excellent example of Outstanding Performance by our installer, Kevin. He worked nonstop to complete the installation. He was quite attentive to our needs. I look forward to doing business with Vivint again.

Was told I had 60 days trial. The price was not accurate. Told me items was free was not. I called to straighten it out but could not get a hold of him. Your office could not get a hold to him either. Have had several problems with the service since I got the system.

The tech was knowledgeable and provided great customer service skills 👌. He answered my questions and showed how to arm/disarm the system so that I now have the skills necessary to do it for myself. I am happy with the overall service and would definitely recommend to friends, family and other veterans. I was also happy to receive the emergency pendant and to learn about the Vivint home moving service. Thank you VIVINT

We had a last-minute cancellation from the previous guy but we were able to get someone to come out and he did an awesome job. He wasn’t supposed to come service the house but he did and I greatly appreciated it. Without the security system I would’ve felt unsafe. And the next available day I had wasn’t for another week.

Austin, the sales rep, was very knowledgeable on what would work best for us. He answered our questions and addressed our needs. Kade, the technician who installed the equipment, was very friendly and expedited the process with skill. We were very happy and pleased with the process from start to finish!

The installation went great, the tech was prompt to the appointment and very knowledgeable. He was able to get the equipment installed quickly and showed everyone in the household how to use it in no time. I would recommend Vivint on customer service alone, but I am also greatly impressed with how well the equipment works.

Very knowledgeable about the product. Installation-great. Installer - exceptional. Looking forward to the ease of using the app on my phone to control the security system.

I would give them zero stars if I could. My experience started off great. The sales guy called to check in on my service that I have had for probably 7 or 8 years. He told me about a great deal they had to update my equipment and keep me right at the same price I was paying now. The day of the installation, the tech came out and instantly I could tell he didn’t want to be here like there was something else he wanted to do. He first complained about the amount of space next to my door to install the new larger camera. After I told him not to worry about it, I could get it mounted, he miraculously found a way to install it. I was getting a new panel that he hung up crooked.

Recently I moved into my new home and took over the equipment left by previous renters. Had it not been for Jason C, I would have given up hope of getting my services activated, He had the patience of Job and went way beyond the call of duty to walk me through every step very meticulously. He even offered to follow up with me the following week to ensure that I ordered and replaced a needed sensor. My brother & I were very grateful that we ended up with Jason C, right before leaving town. What a relief to know that my home will be secured and I can monitor everything from my phone.

Very quick, easy, and professional. Would recommend to anyone searching for a good security system for their home. Had no issues with the sales rep, install was within an hour of paying for service, and install took less than 20mins to complete. Was very convenient to do install via text and call instead of in person. App is very easy to navigate as well.

Technician was very knowledgeable and courteous. He helped me feel at ease with my decisions. I was pretty nervous about adding camera to my new home and he was very professional in his explanation and the job was very nice. It is hardly noticeable and he treated the job as if it was his own home.

Very happy with my alarm system. I feel very safe in my home now. When you are able to keep an eye on your home no matter where you are it’s comforting. There was a delay on securing my home because of losing my dad. So to be able to be in my home and feel safe and secured is a huge comfort. I’d make my purchase all over again. Frank not only was friendly... But had the best customer service ever! He made sure I knew in details what I was getting and how it worked. He made sure everything was working and going before he left. Frank explained and went through everything before he started. I recommend him and his crew. I had an awesome experience working with Tristan obtaining information I needed for approval and installation. The tech was late for the appointment (2.5 hours) and he had to come back a 2nd time because he failed to install 6 of the windows sensors I ordered, the glass break sensor and turn the outside camera lights on to my specifications. He was also late for the 2nd appointment time that he set up. However, all in all I am satisfied with my security system and I would recommend Tristan and Vivint to others. Tristan provides excellent customer service. The tech could use more training in that area (which is the only reason I'm only giving 4 stars). Thanks.

Working with Vivint has been super easy and pleasant. All of the representatives that I’ve spoken with have been kind, and knowledgeable of any questions I might have had. The installation process was very simple, the representative that installed my Vivint system was early, and did not take any longer then the scheduled appointment time.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I bought Vivint in 2023 and was a loyal customer that wanted to protect my home and children. I didn’t care how much I spent if it gave me and my family a peace of mind. I’m sure that’s why most families buy a security system. I paid 150 dollars for a professional technician to install it because I wanted to know it was done right. I also bought 3,000 worth of equipment. The fire alarm was installed right next to my guest bathroom. Since it was a guest bathroom the shower was never used. After my babies were born a year later I had some guests using the bathroom more often and the system kept going off for a fire alert.

This pair was amazing. Peter did an excellent job walking us through the product catalog and building a product package to what we needed. I have never met such a thorough sales rep! Bryan was very professional in and clean during the install and walking me step by step on how to use the product.

The tech was on time, accurate, helpful answering question that I asked and lots of patience. His supervisor came in to assist because there was a problem to get my identification wouldn't accept after numerous times. That's very annoying for me but since the tech was so kind I had to be patient. It wasn't the tech fault.

Luke did an absolutely wonderful job listening to what we needed, and he filled our needs so well that we purchased a second system for our medical clinic. The installation went seamlessly. Everything was done professionally and the area was left neat and tidy. Accessing the service was very user friendly and footage was very clear.

We can see when our cat comes home at night and we can let him in the door so he's not stuck outside all night and it alerts us. Thank you.

The sales rep was absolutely great at his job. He did way more than he needed to help me out and he should get a raise and the installer was absolutely great. Very professional and kind gentleman and dealt with my mess and dogs. He too should get a raise.

Their technician was awesome. He was so informative. He was so professional in explaining everything like literally every detail To setting up. He has to be one of their best technicians. Every time he did something he’d call us out and explain this is the old system's wires. Ours is wireless and he was just great.

The whole process was very easy to navigate. The app and cameras are simple to use if you are moderately good with technology. Pricing is very fair compared to similar providers. And the installers were very professional and took the time to include me in the process to ensure the system meets our family’s needs.

The tech was very nice and friendly and willing to answer and help out with all my questions. I will be willing to tell many others about switching over or become a customer with you guys. I’m a brand new customer and just hope things to continue to be great.

Hard to find operating instructions - Can't find How to tutorials - Text and Emails seeking praise - Tech Support hard to find. Sales pressure a bit hard sell. I can't find out what happens when you give someone a pass key - how is the alarm turned off when they enter and on when they exit.

My installation expert was very nice and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer questions and the system is very user friendly. The arming and unarming process of the system is easily accessible using my mobile phone. The camera has a very wide viewing range and is very clear. So far very pleased with everything.

Ashton provided excellent service. I would recommend Vivint to friends and family because of the job he did. He was very knowledgeable and had a positive attitude. He was patient with me and gave a tutorial on our newly purchased equipment.

The technician was very polite and patient and was knowledgeable in his product. However, he was not familiar with the air conditioner that he was attempting to install the Vivint thermostat because the thermostat he could not install because he would have to change the wiring of the air condition so he suggested we call an air condition technician to do that. The technician said that the thermostat was not compatible with the air conditioning unit we had therefore the thermostat could not work unless he had to rewire the whole system of the air condition and that was costly. So will return Vivint thermostat. The AC person also said that our unit was top of the line and that particular thermostat was not compatible with it to function properly.

Installation. My tech was Mr Mike **. He was Outstanding. Very knowledgeable. Answered my questions and concerns. Very polite. He represented your company. Again I thank you. I recommend some of my neighbors to your company. Again thank you. I was very pleased and satisfied with my purchase and my new service.

These guys ARE THE REAL DEAL!! I got the best price in town!!! They literally are friendly and down to earth! I would RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GET THIS SYSTEM. I live in Laveen where there is a little violence in the area but I feel super secure and safe with my new system.

Needs a little more polishing, parts of the equipment were left out & not discussed, we ended up discussing that @ install process, the fire detection, primarily… but after we discussed it, it seemed like we were missing equipment and the tech needed come back to finish the install…. Overall though it was a great experience!

The installation tech, Marcos, did a great job installing and was very informative on what was to come regarding my new plan. He answered all my questions and explained all the details to where I felt comfortable I knew what I was signing and agreeing to. I do feel I am getting the best service for what I’m paying and have the option to grow my security with the company when I’m ready.

Kyle was extremely helpful and answered all my questions and went over the system multiple times in different ways so it made sense to me. The technician was also super helpful and nice when walking me thru the system on the iPad. Overall will be telling family & friends about Vivint.

I was advised by my son to use Vivint when I was ready to add security my newly acquired home. He had another company, and I said I did not know Vivint. Another friend had a Vivint sign in their yard, so I asked her about the company. She too gave a great rating about Vivint in comparison to another well known security company. I was ready and made the call. I am pleased to say that the technician was very kind and patient. I was late, but he waited as I drove home from work. My house was in a mess, but he understood, as I was always out working, thus the need to have the security system installed. The technician was very knowledgeable, he worked for hours to have everything working properly. I must say that I am a satisfied customer.

The initial interaction with the sales people was good and we came to a purchase agreement about 7:30 PM. I was informed the install would start at 8:30 PM and be completed by about 10:30 PM. I thought this was a little bit late and would’ve preferred for it to be done the next day. The install was completed by 12:30 AM, which was very late. Everything appeared to be working fine but it was late so I’m not sure we covered all areas. The next day I discovered there was a $199 charge on the purchase that I did not believe was included. I contacted the sales person and he backtracked from our previous agreement and said no this charge was supposed to be included. I disagreed but left it there.

Charles was our tech that installed our equipment. He was very informative. We started off with discussing the equipment I had requested. We walked through the house inside and out and discussed the placement and installment of all the equipment. He was very detailed about how he was going to install them around the house. Overall he was excellent. He walked us throughout the whole process from beginning to end. He provided a demonstration of how everything after the installation. He was very professional.

I recently had an alarm system installed in my home, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. From the initial consultation to the final setup, everything went smoothly. The technician Maudo ** was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. Maudo took the time to understand my needs. Installation was quick and efficient, with minimal disruption. The technician walked me through the entire system, ensuring I felt comfortable using the new equipment. He also took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I understood how to operate everything, from the app to the sensors. What really stood out was the level of customer service. The staff were friendly, approachable, and genuinely seemed to care about my safety and satisfaction. Ronnie ensured all equipment was working before he left. He “trained” us on keypad and even showed us how to do things on the app. He took time to make sure we were comfortable with everything. His customer service attitude and commitment to our satisfaction was stellar. He’s a great ambassador for Vivint.

I am very dissatisfied with Vivint and the service and customer service. I will be canceling after this month. I already paid. Wish I could be refunded. That’s how bad the experience has been. I’ve been signed up a week and still no service but my payment has been taken the first 5 mins. Ridiculous.

My install was great and he was the best. Made sure everything was right. Showed me and my mom how to do everything and made sure I was happy with everything before leaving. He noticed something wasn’t right so he called to double check with me then called the people to make sure and got it all fixed and taking care of and had the right stuff installed for me.

So we had another service before that we were not happy and went with Vivint instead. Camera are better and records all the time. We got 2 camera and a doorbell. So far everything working great. The tech was very helpful and we thank you guys. We will be recommending them to other.

The installation of my cameras took 7 hours and the technician was at my home from 5:30 to 12 midnight and still didn’t complete the job. He left dirty hand prints on my cabinets and shavings from the drill on my floor and even left his own drill in my backyard. A horrible experience for me it was.

We are happy with the product, lengthy install but worth it. Our technician was super knowledgeable and helpful making sure we knew exactly what we were getting, the cost and what each item would change the cost to. We got a camera installed in the backyard as well with great picture. All the sensors we need.

I’ve had the Vivint system since October 2024, and to be honest—I’m not in love with it. When the sales rep came to my door, everything sounded great, and I was genuinely excited about upgrading my home security. But since then, it’s been one expensive disappointment after another. First, I was told by both the sales person and the initial installer that my existing equipment would integrate just fine—I wouldn’t need to replace everything. That turned out to be completely false. After just a month or two, I started hearing loud, annoying noises from the system. When I called Vivint, they said it was due to the old equipment and it now needed to be replaced. That call alone cost me a service fee plus over $800 for new equipment I was originally told I didn’t need.

The process was quick, fast and easy. Right to the point. The technician was polite and easy to work with, broke down everything that was need with the install and kept things simple. I would recommend this company to all my friend and family. Thanks for the experience and am glad I made the switch to Vivint

Got pushed into a contract, we were told if we didn't like them we could cancel with no issues within certain number of days. Tried to connect with them when it didn't feel logical to have them now they say we'll have to owe $4,000 to get out it or we could downgrade for $2,500. Will never recommend this scam company of a to anyone!

Even though there were some complications from Ambia Solar the technician did an excellent job working everything out and proceeded with the insulation. The technicians did an excellent job. The two guys that came and installed the security system had great customer service, both showed me how to use the security system, explained everything, thank you so much, I will be referring family members, the guys that came installed the system fast. When I called to make the quote, I told the seller how many windows and doors I had. I accepted the proposal thinking that what I had asked for was what I had been quoted. When the installer arrived, I was notified that I only had three sensors, the camera on the door and outside. My house has 8 windows, 1 sliding door and 3 doors. When I call the seller, he accepted that it had been a mistake, that he does not know what happened and that he remembered my conversation. The installer called his supervisor and in order to stay paying me more or less what I was told I ended up without the motion sensor inside the house, the smoke detector and I had to pay an additional $100 to add the missing sensors and however I want I do not cover a window.

I have always known Vivint to be a quality product as I have had them in the past. This most recent installation did not disappoint. Installation was quick and easy. Package affordable and sales and installation people were professional and friendly. I'd recommend to any and everyone I know in search of a security system that embodies safety at an affordable cost. The only thing I can think of that's missing is my Vivint sign in my front yard. I'm sure I'll receive that shortly though.

Salespeople were extremely pushy. Would not take no for an answer and took a lot of asking for them to get out of my home. They will also lie to get you in contract. I let them know what I was currently paying for my previous security system and said I would like to match it since prices are going up everywhere. I did not want this added to that as well. He said no problem and matched it. He was extremely pushy about breezing through the contract but I noted that the payment we agreed on was stated in the contract. I was happy with that and finally agreed. I stated “this is the payment forever and will not go up” and he said “yes”. They got out of the house and the technician was already in the driveway. I felt off about it since they were so quick to breeze through the contract.

I was impressed with the quality and how easy it was to operate on the pad and the phone. The installer was great. He explained everything clearly and installed the equipment nice and neat. He answered all my questions and concerns. I also like the different features on the pad. The date is nice and large and I like seeing the temperature too.

Honestly waste of money. Was instructed to set up my panel for my account through texting. Pretty ridiculous that I had to pay $50 for this to begin with but even worse to not even have this over the phone. The app is being set up now by myself and it's lagging significantly. So far not pleased with the services provided.

My installation was performed on March 28. I received a call reminding me of the time of my appointment. The technicians called when they got to my neighborhood. They were very courteous and knowledgeable. They were neat, professional, and efficient. The job was done in a timely manner and the teaching was excellent. The equipment is modern and easy to use. We had Vivint remove our old security system and install their new system. The technician, Tim, worked hard to make sure everything was correctly placed and working. He explained the system to us and helped us navigate through the control panel. He was very polite and helpful. We've had the system for less than 24 hrs but it is working well so far. Tim gave us his phone number in case we had questions.

I received either the wrong info or different info from the agents. Simple things like non rechargeable batteries can not be used. That there is an app and how to sign into the app. The fact that I couldn’t hear anything from upstairs and had to buy an extra sensor. When I could’ve been told about said app a head of time, it’s only day 2.

The tech was super friendly, well knowable, and was energetic. I greatly appreciate him coming out and setting up my security system. He was able to install everything in a fast and quick manner. I didn’t have Wi-Fi yet but he was able to show me how to use the system without Wi-Fi and he also showed me how to connect to the system to Wi-Fi.

It would have been 5 star but I think they need to communicate better with each other, because of lack of communication I was charged an extra almost $500 during my tech visit and after being charged they found out it wasn’t right. After me having to call and speak to corporate, now still waiting on that to be refunded. But other than that everything went smoothly.

The equipment and service are great just ask questions from tech before they leave. How can you rotate cameras without triggering the system, is there any way to change chime or alarm settings to your preferred settings. And if alarm is triggered how much time do you have to cancel? Questions that relate to your needs and again, great company, good products and service but ask before they leave after installation.

At first I had some issues over the phone with appointment times and dates being incorrect and wasn’t really able to get a clear line of communication with Vivint prior to my install today, but after all that was sorted out and my Tech Simon Came out for our install and my opinion did a complete turn around…. He was very friendly, helpful and overall a joy to have in our home during the service! He’s GREAT! Would HIGHLY recommend HIM to any and all of our friends and family! GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE LOL.

A friend of mine recommended Vivint, and now I will too! They showed up on time, reviewed my options and made sure I had the right package for me. They did a great, clean job installing everything. Both were friendly and efficient, and made it a painless process for me.

Mr. ** was fabulous! He was punctual, kind, he answered all of my questions and overall he just had a great personality. I appreciate his patience, and the way he explained everything. He cleaned up after himself. He also asked my opinion on everything and when I was not sure, he would give me his professional opinion so that I could make an informed decision.

So far I like the product and feels more comfortable knowing that I’m more protected. I understand having Vivint May lower my home insurance premiums. Having all doors secure gives us more safety at home or away from home. Another plus is being able to see and speak to anyone while away from home.

I hired Vivint security company to install a system on March 17, 2025. During the installation, the technician placed two sensors on the front windows, which made it impossible for me to open them. I called the company on March 22, 2025, via chat and spoke with a representative named Alfonso. He instructed me to resolve the issue myself, but despite my efforts, I couldn't fix it.

Did not like the technician that came, was really disrespectful, and made me feel uncomfortable making comments that I did not like. As well cameras are slow. They told us that it will function without internet but no it has to be with internet to be working and it’s so slow, not recommend.

Payton went above and beyond with our install. He was fast. Patient with us. Explained it all. And he kept it so clean during the install you didn’t even know he was here! So pleased! And really surprised. You don’t get this kind of customer service anymore! But we did today with Peyton and Vivint

I wasn't expecting to sign up with Vivint but after Lexi the sales rep showed up at my door one day and I got to view the product she was selling I was impressed with the security and camera system they offer. We definitely made Lexi work for her pitch tho she had to come back to see if the husband approved before officially moving forward with anything. Lol. Needless to say she's a really good sales lady and very professional and respectful and we were looking to upgrade our system. Taz was our tech and he was pretty amazing himself. He went above and beyond, really took the time to make sure it was right and didn't ever leave us hanging. He is a little goofy which made it for an ever better experience because we couldn't stop laughing at his jokes. So 5 star for the vivint team I received which made it easy to recommend to friends. Also liking the cameras and how they work themselves as well.

Giving the on-site installer a 5 for persistence. The paperwork and billing was not correct and it took many hours of workarounds to get the system working. From that point of view the process needs a lot of work. It took a lot of back office intervention to finally get the system to function.

The entire process from getting a quote to having installed to billing and set up was completely awesome. Very painless, super quick, easy, like controls are very easy to use. The installer was very helpful. The app that is used with this system is very clear and easy to use VS other security systems. Everything's just great. I would highly recommend and I will recommend to other people that I know on other business owners that you should go with this system.

So far my encounters with Vivint have been nothing but pleasurable. They were friendly and gave me great ideas on where the best place some cameras should go. They also explained everything to me in a great way. They were patient with my dogs and worked well around them. One of the members was very courteous and even thanked me for my service because he saw that I was a veteran.

The set up was quite quick and easy. My problem was my phone. I need to either upgrade or get a new phone. It's not working right when I try to watch the monitors. Other than that I'm pretty happy with my purchase. My technician was very knowledgeable and very professional and helpful. He was very patient with me and my animals.

They were timely arriving within the scheduled window. I was ill prepared with access for them to certain areas and they were very patient and helpful. They helped me set up the apps and cameras and they also cleaned up afterwards and took the recycle to the designated can. We are off to a very good start!

Please cancel my services! I have requested it to customer service tier 2 and tier 3, I have spoken to the sales agent requesting to cancel and I have sent an email also requesting to cancel. A credit card loan was taken out on my behalf without my knowledge or consent.

Contacted Vivint and spoke w/ representative who went over pricing and scheduled install. While on the phone, the representative quoted me 69.00 a month along with a 3 year contact to pay off security equipment. After agreeing to the plan, I was immediately charged $41.47 on my credit card for service. Fast forward 2 weeks later, an install tech arrived and stated my monthly payment would be 89.00 and requires a 5 year contract to pay off the equipment. When I didn't agree with the increased pricing and new terms, Tech changed the price to 75.00 a month. He then says, "Well the company is definitely overcharging you, while, I'm here call customer service and tell them you want to cancel and I'll get you a cheaper plan 30 days from now."

I like my alarm system and Kevin was very pleasant. The tech great. But I was not aware I took out a loan. I was under impression I just would be making monthly payments. Now I am not sure I will refer my sister because I told her it wasn't financed.

Great salesman, great installer. Highly recommend them to anyone! I do want the yard sign and stickers to promote Vivint. I did not receive them and they were on the list of items delivered. Camera coverage is amazing!! Doorbell camera is also amazing. Vivint all the way! Worth the money. Great company. I will recommend to everyone I know. Let’s go! Oh ya! Damn near perfect. Kyle was my tech. He was very helpful and professional. He arrived about 30 minutes after noon. He was prepared and started working right away. He made some to communicate all the steps while he installed my new security system. I have more services and equipment for almost the same price that ADT was charging me.

Walk away from this company! They are overpriced for equipment that malfunctions on a consistent basis. We have a total home security system (cameras, sensors, alarm) and all the equipment has and continues to have multiple malfunction issues. We pay for "added" monthly service protection where they are supposed to send out a Technician instead of charging you $99.00 every time you need tech support and they try everything they can to have you do the troubleshooting (when that still doesn't solve the issues) instead of of sending someone out. The amount of hours on the phone, the frustration of paying so much for a system that doesn't offer consistent protection. They don't stand behind their products. Find another more reliable company.

Brandon communicated with us he was on his way in a timely manner and arrived right on time. He was extremely personable and professional, As well as knowledgeable. Outlined what we ordered and discussed other options that we could consider. After that discussion we determined that what we ordered was sufficient for our house. He worked quickly and completed all of the tasks on time. We would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Had a good experience with salesman and installer. Only negative thing I have to say is that the salesman will tell you a camper can go in a certain spot and the technician will tell you otherwise. Also we had little training on using the equipment and the salesman never showed up the next day as he said he would to review everything. We didn’t get the myQ garage opener as our opener was older, also we didn’t get the automatic deadbolt installed because the salesman left it out.

First, the sales representatives were amazing! They explained everything in detail and were professional in every aspect. Their customer service was beyond reproach. Very impressed with the technology of the system and service provided by Vivint. The system was installed on the same day, the technician was on target with our ideas and was a perfectionist with his knowledge of the installation. I cannot express the satisfaction I felt with the entire experience.

New client since yesterday. Sales person Drew was fantastic! He explained things very well and assisted me with the install and set up of my. The install crew was there the same day and was extremely efficient and personable. I like the larger screen wall panel and the app is very easy to use. With Vivint I have the option of outside over the Garage Door cameras and lights which I’m very happy with. I felt safer in my home last night!

My initial experience with the salesman was excellent. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The monthly rate is excellent considering everything we got and we got everything they offer. Indoor, and outdoor cameras, keyless locks, door monitors, thermostat, and more. The installer was friendly, fast and knowledgeable as well and answered all questions and the equipment is extremely user friendly.

We had Michael with Vivint install out home security the entire process was quick and very professional. Michael was very personable and did a great job installing and explaining the system. The system is very easy to use and the app is very seamless. We're very happy with it. Hopefully, we don't have to use it.

On install alone I am happy with the performance and knowledge of the technician. Orlando was knowledgeable about the product and not pushy. Tazmen was clean and efficient in the work done. I felt comfortable with both of them in my home. I like that both were wearing uniforms and badges as well.

Aaron was the technician who installed our system. He was fantastic. He worked hard, cleaned up after himself and took time to explain the system and questions. The system seems to be very user-friendly. I feel our home is definitely more secure, which gives me peace of mind for me and my family.

Their fast install and really nice. They explain to you how to use the system, what what to do if there are issues but I thought they were gonna take a couple hours to install but they took less than an hour which I was really surprised and he cleaned everything and made it look really nice.

The representative was kind and showed us all products that were available to us. He explained how it works and got us set up for the technician to come in. The technician was kind and professional. He got things done and showed us how the hub works and to get it set up on our phones as well.

I am super impressed with not only the quality of equipment I received but also the price and the service provided by Antonio. He was super nice and helped me get exactly what I needed. I would definitely recommend Vivint to anybody who is looking for home security. 11 out of 10.

The salesman Jay was informative, explaining everything upfront and honest. Installation was quick and professional. All went well and the follow up with the smoke detector the next morning was good. Jay followed up the next day going over everything and showing all features. We look forward to seeing everything work out, keeping an eye on what’s happening outside the house and reviewing the recording. Gives us peace of mind.

I was told one thing by the representative that had me sign up. Then the installer comes and goes over the information again and nothing that he said to me was on that. He told me I could cancel anytime three months six months anywhere down the road I can cancel. It’s three days. Called him and told him I wanted it in writing. Still haven’t heard from him. He’s A smooth talker. Very little what he told me about the product and signing up. When I asked how much the total cost was, he just gave me my monthly cost. He wrote down one thing on a piece of paper for me as he figured it out, but I didn’t get half of what he wrote down. Installer was really nice. So was the one that stood at the door and explain a few things to me. But he told me what he thought I wanted to hear, and I kept asking him questions and he would not respond with a full complete response. he filled it in with other stuff.

From the sales person to the installer, everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. The sales rep was not pushy one bit and offered very good information on the camera systems and worked with me with my budget. The installer (which was 20 min after the installation) was very friendly and walked me through the whole process. He even guided me to were he would recommend I put the cameras and worked with my suggestions as well.

Our installer Joseph did an excellent job explaining the details pertaining our specific system. Very professional installation! Cleanliness and care for our home! Made sure we understood how to use our system and offered his assistance should we have any future questions! I will recommend Vivint to friends and family and let them know that they are in good hands!! Also, the ease and comfort of using all the options it offers is amazing!!

We bought a house that had the Vivint security setup.. I can't count the number of times trying to connect with the technician to get the system on our account. They kept calling my landline which is in my old home. Then when trying to contact them there is no direct way to talk to someone. One are given a menu of choices that are not applicable to your situation. Oh, and don't press zero to connect to a real person that disconnects you totally.

The Technician, Conrad, was very easy going and nice to work with. He explained everything thoroughly and patiently. Conrad helped us with the basic system set up, how to use the system from our phones.
