Friendly and helpful salesman. Not too pushy. Installation was done very efficiently and professionally by Owen. Overall operation of the system explained thoroughly. Very pleased with overall experience from the sales visit to the installation.

What a day. I decided to go with Vivint yesterday and couldn't believe they installed the service same day. Normally when dealing with other companies you receive an install date and get a 3 hour window of when to expect the technician. Same day service with a smile. The salesperson and technician did a great job of explaining all of the details and making me comfortable. Thank you.

Owen came in. We greeted each other properly and loved how quick and easy the set up was done. If I need any other cameras setup that’s the guy to go to. I look forward to continue having Vivint business and as well as Owen’s great skills.

Arrived on time and was very professional. Explained everything step by step. Made sure everything was installed in the location requested and that my online access was activated. I would highly recommend.

Our tech and sales experts were prompt and informative. Didn’t even wake the baby. Thank you for provided a wonderful service and an extra measure of protection to our home. The display is large and clear and can be easily seen from across the room.

Brandon was great. Was training a gentleman. I don't remember his name. Made sure equipment I was getting was really needed. Installation was quick and they cleaned up after themselves. Showed me how to use devices and mobile app.

Does not work. If it breaks down, you have to fix it yourself. No way to contact company when it is not working. Just do not buy this system. It is awful. It goes out every day. You have to remove panel from wall and remove battery. Not easy to remove.

I had a fully customized smart home system in place when a Vivint sales rep came to my door. I told him no—multiple times—but he kept pushing, insisting their system would be a major upgrade. He promised I could try it out for five days, and guaranteed that none of my existing equipment would be taken offline. Against my better judgment, I agreed. That was the beginning of the nightmare.

Very nice people. Wonderful customer service. They explained everything about the service and the system. It was a pleasure to have you guys as my number 1 security and I will highly recommend you guys.

So far so good, just installed. Salesman used some sales tactics not so forthcoming but the deal was still acceptable. I’ve had worse experiences! Look forward to Vivint proving I made the right decision.

Had a great reinstall at our new home. Also had a new camera added. We are very happy with the great job that Caytland did for us. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure everything was tucked nice and neat for that good looking professional install.

This company is trash. I moved into a home that already had it. So I just decided to reactivate it. The company did not inform me that the previous owner had taken the cameras. Yet they continue to bill me. When I realized there was no cameras two months later, I decided to cancel. They said an email was sent that was never sent to complete the cancellation.. A year later they are still billing me. I was put on hold for 40 minutes to speak to a supervisor only to have the call end. This company is not afraid to bill you for services that they will not provide. I am a returning customer to Vivint. Recently moved back to my home and setting everything up could not have been more simple. Every associate I spoke with was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. They ensure that I had everything I needed to be reintegrated with my system. Highly recommend.

I was very hesitant to sign up with Vivint. I had a horrible experience with them several years ago. They assured me that it’s now under a new company and that they have resolved a lot of their past problems.

My husband and I had an overall great experience! The Vivint associate was very detailed in the overview of how everything works. Cameras are crystal clear, the security deters are awesome. Same day installation was amazing!

Sale person and tech very professional in every step of the way. I was surprised. That it was going to be installed within hours same day. The sale person even came back to my house when the tech was there to answer some more information on my system to make sure I was getting every thing I needed. Thank and outstanding job done.

Your phone app's hardware and camera are better than other security systems I have had installed in the past. The arming and disarming is better than other systems. The cameras are in HD and have their own power source.

Dayton and Alex were a joy to meet and were so polite and knowledgeable. Alex worked diligently and answered any and all questions I had. Would recommend to family and friends. I already feel more safe and secure when I leave my home.

As a salesperson, Ulian was a pleasure to work with. The service tech, Zachariah, was knowledgeable and the install of our Vivint security system was seamless. Zachariah even disconnected our old security system for us.

I don't have too much to say. I only had the system for a day. Everything is work. The slick appears isn't intrusive to my space. The panel is bright at night. Got to ask how to turn that down. Other than that I'm happy.

Josh was fantastic and friendly. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. He was efficient in his work and cleaned up when he was finished. The set up of the app and panel, and adding other users was very easy.

Great service. My representative Edward was great. Technician Donnie was great. They both made it very easy and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I would recommend them to any and all of my friends and family.

For safety reasons our stairway outlet has an integrated light which now is being blocked by the plugged in wi-fi bridge. A second outlet with usb ports is also been blocked by the wireless bridge and unable to be used. Also, this wireless bridge emits a lot of light so imagine trying to fall asleep next to a bright night lamp. During installation I realized there was miscommunication on the type of outdoor cameras that needed to be installed, now I’m having to wait 30 days to have the proper outdoor light replaced. Overall, a cleaner installation with no gaps in the outlets would been a plus.

Agent was wonderful with explaining everything and helping distinguish what would be good for our situation. He was very personable and professional and got to know us as people instead of just trying to sell the product. The tech who installed our system was awesome. He explained everything as he went and made sure we understood everything before leaving and helped us with anything we needed in learning to run this system. He never left a single mess from the installation. Overall a great experience and would recommend to everyone. These guys were great!

Did my research on Vivint a few months ago and came to the conclusion that this service aligned with what I was looking to purchase. The reps that came to my place were knowledgeable, professional and attentive. Gave me a great deal and within minutes an installation professional arrived. The install was clean and the account setup was even easier. With the integration with AI I now feel much safer in my new home.

While it is a somewhat good service cancellation is TERRIBLE, they transfer you 6 times and want to charge $400 to cancel. So they rope you into a contract so you pay less then want to kill you with a cancellation fee! I've been with them for 4 years, now I'm moving and they want to charge me $400 to cancel! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE unless you are sure you will have it for a long time. TERRIBLE AND FRAUD.

My install was incomplete. My doorbell camera and backyard was not to allow maximum viewing. The door device does not work at all. The technician seemed frustrated. I had a very bad experience with Vivint.

The sales rep, Frank **, was very nice and patiently answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The installer, Christian **, was able to quickly and professionally install my system and even incorporated sensors from my old alarm system. When he was done he walked me through configuring my system and setting up the apps on my smart phone. They both make up an amazing team and are an asset to your company.

We weren’t looking for a new home security system, but Tyler was excellent at showing us the benefits of the system and answering all of our questions. He even came back the next day to answer more questions and provide us with more information. Kyle, our installer, was efficient at a same-day install, which took about 2 hours. Both Tyler and Kyle were respectful, professional, and made us feel at ease letting them into our home. We truly feel safe now! 10/10 experience.

Super easy process, friendly sales reps & installation technicians. Just be sure to read your contract thoroughly so you know exactly what you are buying and what you are paying for it. You can pay for the equipment up front if you want to, but they give you better deals if you go with the finance option because of their arrangement with Fortiva, but it's 0% as long as you qualify so it's actually beneficial that way.

I had a wonderful experience with Vivint and all of their employees were great and pleasant to work with and very helpful. They explained everything thoroughly and made sure I knew how to work everything before they left also. I would highly recommend them to others looking for a peace of mind!

Only just started using it but so far so good. Both the representative and installer were fantastic, explained everything in detail and were extremely patient through my many questions. My representative even came back the next day to check in and see how I was liking it and made sure I didn’t have any more questions.

So far everything went as planned. The technician provided valuable information before installing my new system. During installation and after, everything panned out and I love the new view and attachments.

I thought the process was going to be long like my old monitor company did for installation. The tech was very friendly, fast and cleaned up any trash that he had. Everything is one monitor including adjusting the AC, you can answer the video call from your phone or the display monitor hanging up, the quality is so clear, it is inexpensive and so easy to operate. I will be referring everyone I know to Vivint and also recommend anyone who has other alarm systems to switch. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

This entire experience has been beyond perfect. The system installer was very professional and extremely personable. His knowledge of the entire system was amazing. Not being tech savvy he walked my wife and I through the entire process. I think we can get it working. He was the best. Do wait any longer get this company and get this system.

They stopped by on an afternoon, showed me some videos and products I had been wanting for a while now, and by that same evening I had a complete system installed and operating through my phone! :-) Cameras so I can watch and talk to my kids in the backyard is the cherry on top but the reason I purchased was to know no one could break in our back door at nighttime. So grateful I actually answered my door this time (I usually avoid answering the door for people I'm not expecting but these guys weren't pushy or annoying at all) and I felt very comfortable every step of the way! Highly recommend.

Antonio came over to activate my account and I ended up getting a new equipment. He did a fantastic job and I would recommend Vivint to anyone who wants to know what’s going on in and around the house.

This was a very easy experience to start up. The representative came and knocked on my door and explained what he did. I was told that I have most of a system already installed, and all that I would need them to do is set up the main tablet. They were very accommodating in letting me talk with my significant other, and checked in later with me via text. We agreed, and the next day a tech came to set up our tablet. He was right on time and made sure everything was working great while he double checked cameras and sensors. After he finished, he walked me through each part of the tablet. It was a great experience.

The technician was on time and went right to work. He was courteous and very knowledgeable, installing four cameras and numerous door and window sensors. He reviewed all camera settings with me, the monitor, and cell phone app.

This man LIED! Told us we had 30 days to try the equipment. I contacted Tristan the same night and told him it wasn't working properly. He told me I could fix it myself a week later. I then asked him to please have the equipment removed. He ghosted me. I contacted Vivint to remove the equipment. Vivint informed me that Tristan put we had only 4 days to try the equipment. Vivint will not remove the equipment without me paying a hefty penalty! Vivint "customer service" is a joke! Don't waste your time or money!

The whole process was great & easy from start to finish! I’m very excited to have my new security system & not have to worry about the cameras not capturing everything like my Ring! Had a few issues with original application but Sean was able to get that handled. The Technician, Patrick, who did our Installation was a pleasure to work with. There were a few issues with connecting the system with our WiFi but he handled it flawlessly. He explained the operation in easy to understand language and answered all questions. We were very pleased.

Can now check on my dogs when we are at work! Seeing my packages on the porch gives me motivation to head home after a long day at the grind. The old lady likes to know the house is safe and locked up.

I had a very pleasant experience with Vivint on today. The technician arrived on time and had everything he needed to complete the task of setting up my new security system. Although there was a slight hiccup earlier, the tech managed to maneuver around the situation pretty quickly. After hooking up the system my tech instructed me on how to work the panel and download the app. After the insulation was up and running, I logged into the app and he showed me how to properly use it. I would definitely recommend this service to my family, friends, and/or coworkers. Thank you, Vivint.

As a small business owner I can spot a Keeper. Zakeus ** is a keeper. Hell I didn’t even need a Security System. I already have one. I just wanted to see this young man succeed. The Vivint purchasing experience was polished and professional. The product install was also polished and professional. I am a stickler about seeing cords and the young man who was installing said “Me too! I’m gonna take care of you.” Which was the feeling I had from the very beginning.

We researched Vivint to upgrade our house alarm system. We met Ryan and did a walk thru and he came back and installed everything. Ryan was a true professional and his work is top notch. I had the Vivint security system installed in my home yesterday. The salesperson was quite thorough with his explanation of the services. I especially liked the idea of having a doorbell camera and security light installed so I could monitor the front of my home. He provided a short video, which helped to demonstrate how the system would work. The best part of the transaction was having the installation team ready to install the system the same day. Installation was flawless and all of the equipment was installed to my satisfaction. I feel more secure in my home, which is a comforting feeling for someone living alone.

I was given the opportunity to have sales rep to go over videos about Vivint products. I had a choice what products I wanted home security system. Also sales rep went over all the paperwork. My security system was installed the same day.

The sales representative kept on knocking at my door plenty of times. I didn’t acknowledge him at first nor opened the door because I didn’t knew him and my baby was sleeping until I opened the door for my dog to go outside to do his business. Once he saw my dog outside he knocked again and since no one answered he proceeded to the side of my house to see if someone was home, which was so concerning seeing a stranger roaming around my house. After speaking to him about the situation he introduced himself and that’s when I then knew he was with the Vivint company, he offered me a plan and got a technician out in minutes. The technician was a very nice and friendly person, he did a good job in a timely manner and corrected any angles of the camera when I asked without any hesitation. He’s a good technician that I would recommend to everyone!

Great quality equipment, service rep was awesome, install was also good. Our only concern has been with the cost of their equipment. Some of these items I don’t find to be useful and would’ve liked to have had the chance to customize to our own needs right off the bat.

Today, I was absolutely disappointed because my thermostat is not compatible when I was told I would not have any problems. Well, well, surprise, surprise!!! Unhappy customer. The product and work was fair. However, I would better prepare your techs to clean up after themselves. Our tech was fabulous, but I had to clean up his mess after he left. Staples, drywall and wood chips. Again, he was knowledgeable and professional. Just needed additional help with clean up.

Salesman did not disclose all particulars of the plan. The plan is good, its cost is less expensive than others. But to be hit with things like cost, sign in options and equipment placement is very unprofessional.

Chase was a huge help with explaining and not pulling your typical used car salesman pitch, very knowledgeable and showed how everything worked. And was able to cut a deal to where it was minimal risk to try out the system. The installer was very quick and explained how everything worked and how to set up everything once installed, very satisfied with all aspects of the customer service from salesman to installation.

Excellent technician that made the install seamless! He made sure to explain all the details and then walked us through the whole mobile setup! He even set up our garage doors and front door lock for us to the Vivint app! Thank you!!

The salesperson was extremely pushy when I tried to politely decline several times. Also, lied when I asked if this would affect my credit, he didn't know the difference between a soft hit and hard inquiry. Didn't know this was a line of credit he was pushing. Only reason I obliged with service is I was told I can cancel after 30 days free service. Pushed into service I didn't want to get him to leave. Technician was nice when she came to install.

My Vivint sales rep gave me false information in order to secure my business. I asked specific questions in regards to what equipment I was getting, the monthly cost before and after paying the equipment cost and was totally misinformed. You find out the truth after the installation. This is a fraudulent tactic/practice. I plan to contact the owner and the news media regarding this issue. Failure to mention that the price of the touchscreen controller cost $1,500 is ridiculous. That alone would have ended the conversation of purchasing Vivint.

It was a good experience. The tech knew what he was doing and placed things where he thought would have the best service. What I didn't know about he walked me through. I haven't had any issues yet. There are people out here that will try to dismantle your service. Vivint has been on top of it as far as I can see. I trust them so far. I have had other security systems. We were in the market for a home security system and Vivint came straight to us. The gentlemen who helped us were upfront and honest with the service and cost. They helped put together our dream security system package at an affordable price and installed it within a few hours. The security system is easy to use and the cameras are crystal clear. They also installed a remote thermostat and glass break sensors. The system can be ran manually inside the home or through the app on your phone. If you forget to arm your home or need to unlock your door it’s all done through your phone. They also have a spotlight that follows people who step onto your property and the camera follows them as well. Best investment hands down.

The agent did a great job selling me the system. However, I continued to ask for upfront cost and was constantly told there is none other than the 1.98 fee. I did however, kept mentioning that the deal was too good to be true as I know what it means to get a sale. The camera is top tier and I’m glad I made the purchase. But, the unexpected cost that was taken out of my account really had me upset. It wasn’t the point that I didn’t have it. It’s the principle of being honest when you’re making a sale. I deal with the public daily and honesty is best. Also the technician just Walks in your house without permission. It was kinda of weird. So I guess I’ll definitely keep the system now. I still won’t take away from the camera and how good the view is and everything. Just give more training to your employees.

Door knocker hit my house and sold me. Within 10 minutes of signing the contract. 2 install guys showed up. They did an excellent job. Very fast and efficient. Highly recommend. The cameras are 4k and the system is easy to use. Even linked the garage door.

The experience we had was a great one. We have an older house and are in the process of remolding some rooms. They did everything they could to work around our cluttered home and get the cameras installed. They even had to rewire things in our kitchen to make our doorbell work.

Signed up for service and equipment was installed same day. Max and Scott we polite, professional and quick. Went over system and sent us a YouTube video also that showed how the system works. Everyone was great and professional.

Had to cancel my services within the first 24 hrs after the sales representative lied about the monitoring cost just to get a sale for the day. I find that he was very dishonest and now I am stuck with holes in my home for no reason, which makes me really upset.

Ray gave me a tutorial on the use of my system. He provided me with contact information. I was very impressed with his technical expertise when installing my system. He even explained two optional features and the additional security they provided. There was no high-pressure sales, and I felt very comfortable in his presence. First and foremost, I was incredibly impressed with the speed of service—I placed my order on Monday, and the installation was completed by Wednesday. You really can’t beat that! My technician, Howard, was punctual, highly knowledgeable, and very detail-oriented. He went above and beyond by making thoughtful adjustments that not only made his work more efficient but also improved the overall look of the camera setup—he hid wires, replaced old wiring, and made everything look clean and professional. I had a great experience from start to finish. Didn’t feel pressured into anything and the professional installation was professional. The installer was knowledgeable and able to show me how to work everything. Need to end it was a good experience.

The equipment is good. I personally feel the salesperson’s installers are pushing quantity over quality. My installation ran until 12:15 am. Tore up a piece of my previous equipment without telling me and just threw it in the trash. Never received the keys to my automated deadbolt on my front door. Installer was in a rush to leave because it was so late, when they were the ones who pushed to do the late install. Salesperson lied about equipment added on plan price, installer said it was never added so pricing given was more for less equipment. Just not a very professional business model.

Conrad was super helpful! I was even a little behind in my scheduled appointment time frame and Conrad was only positive and supportive. I actually didn’t have internet set up at that very moment, so he left his business card and I was able to call him later that day when the internet was set up and he walked me through the final steps. Couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend. Thanks again!

Very unhappy. The front door is mounted way too high. The back camera is mounted where a 2x4 fills most of the screen. The tech didn't let anyone know how to work the smart hub. I was at work but he didn't tell my roommate anything. The person who sold me the system told me that the buy out paperwork was correct but the company rejected it because it wasn't correct so now I have no idea what to do. I don't know how to use the system at all and don't know what paperwork I need to send them to buyout my ADT contract. I hope this isn't the kind of consumer service I will receive in the future. Right now I wouldn't recommend this company, I may change my review if someone comes and takes care of these issues.

Relentless, persistent Sales person-Matt A. Arrived at 7:10 PM and although I asked him to leave several times, he persisted being friendly, acting like a younger brother, asking caring on about family AND wouldn't leave even after I said I was serious. Was not forthcoming about credit check??? Loan application??? I was never made aware of applying for a loan - said my SS # was for Vivint purposes. He was here until after midnight. His tech came around that time and left at 1:30 AM.

My Vivint experience couldn't have been better. To begin, William, was an excellent salesman. I mean, this dude really knew about everything they offered, inside and out... Wonderful job. And my technician, on the install, Molly, was almost as good as William. She didn't take long, and was very friendly... Keep up the good work.

Was not familiar with this product, but purchased a home with this system. Was able to easily transfer ownership of account and register and set up via text and phone call. Seems to be very user-friendly and representatives very knowledgeable and helpful.

Vivint security system has been good so far! The sell rep was wondering talking to my wife and I about the system and was very informative about everything! The installation guy was wonderful as well! He was also very informative about the system and was great at showing my wife and I how the system operates.

I felt pressured in to this purchase. I told Lincoln twice I really wasn't interested. Then the installed, showed up about 9 pm knowing I have two babies in the house. Then she was going to stick something on my wall without telling me what it was. Then she drilled holes in my doors leaving a mess. My 11 month old granddaughter found staples that were left.. Luckily I taught her before she put it in her mouth.

Installation was fairly quick. Installer was friendly. I think the equipment inside the garage should be able to be mounted if not accessible to an outlet. Mine was not. It was only accessible to an extension cord.

Our sales guy Joel was great. Explained everything in detail and left no questions unanswered. Brandon our installer was efficient and professional. Took great care in his work. Very pleased with my Vivint experience.

I'll keep it quick. Within 3 months their equipment stopped working. When we called and asked if they could please send someone out they told us it would be a $200 service call. The initial charge was $2400 which somehow has turned into $5000. We canceled the service feeling they should have sent someone out for free considering the time frame. Their business is to sell you overpriced crappy equipment that falls, then Citizen Bank gets to finish you off by overcharging. We're finally trying to get this in court. This company is a fraud. I typically don't do reviews like this but I'm hoping to save anyone else from this aggravation.

Very pleased with Vivint security system. We went from ADT to Vivint and it seems to be an upgrade in protection. The system has spot lights with outdoor cameras & deterrents to suspicious behavior or break ins. The indoor hub isn’t complicated & the screen is larger. The app is easy to use & very convenient. You can make any changes to thermostat, lights, viewing cameras, etc. Everyone I’ve dealt with were professional, personable & knowledgeable. Everything was done in a timely manner & the transition was simple. As far as ADT, I haven’t gotten a phone or any response from them since the system was taken out. It really makes you question how secure you really were. Security is my main concern & I feel safer since changing to Vivint.
