It seemed pretty straightforward easy to use. Monica was very helpful explaining how to use the panel and apps on the phone, as well as explaining how to secure the home plus the windows and when we leave.

Vivint rep showed us what they had and it made sense. Installers were here within minutes and had the new system up and running within an hour. A little more expensive than our old system but with many more features. Cost will drop in 5 years when equipment is paid off.

Vivint Customer Service is great! The ability to get items installed and receive detailed information about how to set up our system was excellent! It’s easy to manage for both adults and children! I feel happy knowing I can sleep peacefully in the comfort of my own home! Thank you Vivint!

Vivint salesperson was very nice and did everything he could to help us get this alarm system. The installers did a great job explaining all the features of our alarm and the app. It was a same day installation which was perfect.

I am an older woman who can take or leave technology, depending on the circumstances of course! I had Laura on the phone for at least an hour asking questions, switching devices, trying to sign forms, etc! She did act like she was on commission! She as personable, knowledgeable and compassionate!

Installation of entire system was painless on my end. Technician (Noah) did a great job. Now we are experimenting with all the options available thru the app. Important to note we left our other security company because they could not provide external security monitoring and Vivint could! Love the 4K video.

Salesman was super friendly, informative, and helpful. Did a nice job reassuring all of the questions we had and setting us up with our ideal system. Not to mention we were able to get installed the same day. No issues so far! Would definitely recommend!

Was not informed about credit issue until email was sent for denial which I thought this was not a credit related issue but a glitch in the software. Told the Phone will work great before installation. After installation told you have to have wifi. Don't appreciate the fast talk and fast installation gimmick. I really don't like this! Not happy! Is this going to affect my data on my phone. I want my old system back!!

I have been wanting home security. Thanks to my new system, I can see what's going on with the touch of a button, and know that my home and yard is now under surveillance, and my family and pets are safe.

The tech we had was great and very helpful. He explained things great and made it easy to understand everything. He also told us about additional products that we did not know that were offed through Vivint. It was great.

The camera they installed stops my garage door from working. The motion sensor in the house does not work at all and the sensor added to my sliding glass door has actually fallen off. It's been 2 whole days. Come fix it now or come get your gear. I didn't pay you for crap equipment.

Tyler is a great salesman for your product. He knows how to introduce all the products and then some. The total price is reasonable. There were some hiccups with the young man with the installation. That took a little too long. Even though he came well prepared there was slight lack of knowledge what went wrong and when the area supervisors came through everything got resolved quickly. Needs to take some time to have the client know exactly how to work the products and suggest how much more they can add to make the house more safe and effective.

The salesman and tech who visited me were both very friendly and professional. I'm very happy with the service I received. The app is easy to use and I'm impressed with the camera and lock. I like that I'm not renting this equipment.

Everything was explained in detail. The process was very easy. The system is very easy to use. It was a quick install process. I would highly recommend to anyone installing a system. It also links with your Alexa and many other things in your home. We are going to look into putting in Philip lights that will link to our system as well. Very happy with everything.

Installer wasn't that much informative on the equipment and he left a mess behind himself. I have a hole in my wall, which no one informed me was gonna happen. Automotive oil droppings from his vehicle is in my driveway. (I do feel all techs should park on the street.). I dropped one service carrier to get this treatment. #notgood

The whole experience of representation was wonderful. The only downfall is that the service tech did not give me advance notice that I needed to know my WIFI password. I felt rush and in a hurry by him. I am retired. He should slow down more and explain more thoroughly in detail next time. His installation skills are outstanding.

From the time of sale to time of implementation, it took less than 2 hours to get fully setup. The salesman Martin is awesome but the installation was poor. The unused holes in my drywall and the marks on my drywall that I now have to paint? Also the new equipment has dead batteries? How could this possibly be? I'm thinking about this 3 day cancellation. Fix my drywall asap. Love the equipment and technology but now thinking this was a good idea after all.

I'm loving the doorbell camera, which was added to the security of my home. Installation was a breeze. The monthly fee is less than what I was paying with my previous security company. Thank you Ben and Paul for great service.

Adam, the Vivint installer was a pleasure to work with. Prior to arrival courtesy call was given. Once arrived installer was very professional and pleasant. He also provided a installation plan prior to start. Once installation was complete gave a thorough walk of equipment, and I was very pleased with ending result. I was left with a in depth understanding of equipment, and am very pleased with my overall installation process.

So far so good. We met with a Vivint representative this morning. I do not like sales pitches and am skeptical of most everything. Our rep was concise and didn’t try to sell me things we don’t want or need. Scheduled the install for this afternoon. The technician was 30 minutes early (awesome!), and installed quickly. He explained how our system worked and made sure we were comfortable using it. We’re quite pleased and hope our initial impressions hold up... I’m sure they will.

The tech showed up on time with all of the proper equipment and even allowed some changes to the original order. Installation was quick and easy, too. I already have several Vivint systems and I will continue to recommend Vivint to friends and family members.

I think it’s really cool that Vivint has people from all over America but they still manage to find the best people. The guy who talked to us was very nice and knew what he was talking about and was really good with questions. The installer took no time to put the system in and was so cool. He took his time telling us how to use the system even though the system is super easy to use. And the whole system is incredible. We had ring and it took forever to see the live feed, so when we got alerts, we could never pull up the cameras in time to see the issue. No longer a problem. Thanks Vivint!

We had an excellent experience with our installer David. He gave us the terms and conditions and explained the process of using the alarm on the app and main monitor. He also helped get us a good APR on our loan for the equipment. He gave us a little quiz which was fun but necessary to make sure we really knew how to use the main panel.

I was intrigued when the seller explain how the security system will work. He is a very good salesman. So far I like what I see what the technician installed earlier. However, not all the installation was done in one day. We have to wait 3 days for the smoke detector to be installed.

My pay-out of contract is almost done and I can’t wait to put Vivint in my rear view mirror. It’s never a simple process of talking with the right person and the run-around is ongoing. Put on hold countless times while representative keeps checking with supervisor.... Are they really or just stalling? Back on hold and when transferred to new representative still can’t assist, back on hold, finally...NOT. Unbelievable.

Help to activate rear camera with phone. All the technicians was Great at what they did. The next Complaint I have is All the paper and other parts that was taken off left. Do we throw away? or keep? Motion sensor was removed and are they supposed to replace? Are it put another back somewhere else.

I only gave it 4 stars because I’ve only had it for one day. So far though, I am in love! The picture is very clear and the system is extremely easy to use. It was very affordable and John, our salesman, was very professional and knowledgeable about everything. It was a great experience.

Josuan showed us how affordable the plan was and took the time to answer all our questions. Once we agreed on getting the service, the techs were there within an hour! They worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves and even worked late through the hot and humid weather. Only 2nd day and we're still playing around with our system, but we love it so far! Tech and equipment installation went great. One issue we had was the tech did not practice social distancing and did not wear a mask. We were a little concerned about that due to a phone call we received the day before installation explaining disinfecting procedures.

After five years as a reasonably satisfied customer I realized we were paying way too much for quality home security. I contacted Vivint in September of 2018 to give notice of my intent to cancel their service at the end of the contract. The agent, on a recorded line, confirmed that my termination date would be 12/31/18, but that the last two months of the contract would be free if I submitted a written request to terminate at least 60 days prior.

Spoke with a gentleman name Jackson and was told my equipment will be arriving within the next two days, contacted Vivint two days later and was told there was an error. He will call me back after verifying if package has shipped. Was later contacted and was told that my equipment did not ship that I will get a call back. Still waiting on a callback. As I said before to the representative before making my payment I am in the process of moving from another state and I can not be at my home no more than two days because I need to get back on the road, he assured me then I will receive my equipment by the two day mark, I am very upset and disappointed and asked for a refund if you guys can not meet my needs.

Great service by Hugo. The representative was great and installation was fast. I love the cameras and doorbell system and the wall mount. The way that you can talk to the people is dope and easy for me and my family.

Installer was competent and did a good job. He was patient and explained things carefully. We are both high risk for covid and were alarmed his mask kept slipping and he saw no need to keep his distance or use hand sanitizer on his iPad, phone or hands. The young don't take this disease as seriously as old folks do. More training needed here. Also would like written instructions on systems.

The technicians were very good and professional. The process was done in a couple of hours. I got approved for the loan easily too. I was not sure about doing this, but they offered me the option to return the equipment if I am not satisfied with the service.

It was quick and easy.. The only reason Vivint didn’t receive 5star is because they were suppose to leave a sign in my yard and they did not. They took the old sign. I also do not like the fact that yall don’t have an operation guide on paper. But overall everything went well.

Both of the techs were very professional. Before actually getting started we walked around and determined the best place to place all the sensors and the control pad. Once that was done they worked quickly to get everything done. They cleaned up all of the dust and made sure everything was better than when they started.

The representative who first made contact was very personable and polite. Despite being new to the job, he was knowledgeable in the company as well as the products. The technician who installed the system was very precise and clean in his work. He took the time to explain everything and worked with us on the placement of all of the equipment.

Once I finally got a call after three times to setup the system, everyone was great at helping, the original phone calls the people are not very efficient with the follow through and that’s where the hold up was I think.

Enjoyed the sales rep. Tech needs a little fine tuning! Next is the more expensive unit and not presently compatible with the monitor. That should have been explained. You should also leave a follow-up sheet where notes can be kept for follow up the next day after installation. The people on chat working at home are not properly trained.

We are so glad we made the switch over to Vivint. The rep was very knowledgeable and was understanding to our needs. We set up our account and with two hours I had the installation complete. Very fast and excellent service from sales to installation. I don’t know why we didn’t switch sooner.

We were in the market for an upgraded security system, so the timing worked well and we like the system. They installed it the same evening, so there was no waiting around or scheduling an appointment with a 4 hour window.

I didn't like the fact that my alarm went off and no one contacted me. I was told I will have to wait 14 days before someone will reach out to me. I had to also wait 23 minutes on hold before I reach a representative.

Initially, when I switch alarm companies I was a bit skeptical of their great deal at a low price. Later I battled with their customer service just to get my call answered and being hung up on continuously, but in the end I can say that I am pleased. They stuck to their end of the bargain and sent me funds to complete my buyout successfully, and I couldn’t be a happier with the equipment.

The tech was great. He explained well and all of the products work great. He talked to me about different products and I was even able to purchase more to protect my home. With the current pandemic he had on his safety gear which made me feel more comfortable.
