I had Vivint alarm system installed August 5, 2016. After installation I realized the tech unhooked my telephone connection and plugged the alarm cord in the telephone socket. Since then, I have been unable to use the telephone without unplugging the alarm cord from the jack. I've attempted numerous times to contact customer loyalty and Vivint Insurance to no avail. The problem isn't solved. I even submitted a cancellation letter to cancel and customer loyalty called and asked me to give them a chance to rectify this issue before I cancelled. They have been going back and forth requiring me to contact my telephone provider (that didn't fix it because it wasn't their issue) to go from store to store to find a splitter jack that won't fit.
Then when I tried to cancel the service completely I was told the time frame has passed, even though I was assured by customer loyalty, that as long as my insurance claim was still open, I could cancel. When I made that attempt, Friday August 26th, I was told I could not. I am so disappointed that I am forced to pay monthly for a service I can only use at the expense of another service I am paying for that can't be used at the same time. I would never recommend this service to anyone.

I had an appointment, the Tech did not show up. Waited for 4hrs and no one called to inform me. It took time before I could get another appointment. The System got installed and the doorbell and camera is not working. It's going to take 2 weeks before they can send someone in. So basically it will be a month since my system was installed before it can be fully working. Staff on the phone can be very rude. I will not recommend Vivint to anyone.

My mother-in-law had Vivint and I really like their system so I went with them as well. Their sales rep helped me a lot and told me about the doorbell camera and my wife told me they did all right with the installation. I've recommended them to a friend.

A Vivint fellow was in the neighborhood and stopped by the house. He told me all the things about their home security system and I decided to go ahead and get it. The installation team was very efficient and very mannerly. For a while, my doorbell and camera were not working so a guy came by and replaced it with a new one. Now it works just fine. It's been an excellent experience with Vivint.

I was having some problems with my camera and displeased with the support side of Vivint. The guy did not provide in-depth technical support and was more like, "Did you turn it off? Did you turn it back on?" Little things like that are very frustrating. Also, he wouldn't respond in a timely manner and every three days, he would write me an email back. Then after he's done that, I'd get another email saying it's resolved. In the end, I just figured it out by myself. But the installation team was great. Those guys knew what they were doing. They set things up and were in and out.

We have a new home so we needed more security for peace of mind. I originally had AlarmForce but I wasn’t getting good service, so I looked around to see what else was available. I found Vivint and we got their package which includes glass break, motion, and carbon monoxide detectors. It's been great so far. I have been bounced around to a few different people on a hectic time, but beyond that, everything was pretty straightforward. They've given awesome service since day one.

So far I am a little disappointed with the system, it have gotten a couple of messages that the system is not communicating with the front door. My code that I put in does not work to turn off my system. I have to use my phone to unarm the system.

Equipment is not as good as it should be. We are still waiting for the equipment to work like we were told it would. Our installer was ok but he didn't have enough time to replace the panel. Our door bell sounds like a distorted speaker. Our cameras are mediocre at best.

I stay at home by myself so I figured it was a good idea to have Vivint. My service package includes the front doorbell camera, some window locks and some window triggers, but the service is not performing as promised and I’ve had to phone them 50 different times. The equipment only works part of the time. When I call them, I get the “We’re very interested in helping you today and fixing this for you”, but nothing really gets fixed. This is the first time in two years that I’ve actually had the whole system working properly. I’ve had five different technicians come out. The reason I got it was for ease and peace of mind, but it’s been more of a pain than it was worth.
Vivint sends people out and then it works, but only for a short period of time and then I’m right back at square one. Then I have to call and I have to be sitting on hold again. I’ve had two doorbell cameras since I’ve moved in here. My doorbell wasn’t working for three months and since I’m trying to run a home business, I had to sit with my front door open like a crazy person, watching for my clients to come. Instead of something that is supposed to make my life and my family’s life easier, it’s actually made it almost more annoying.
I also had an issue with one gentleman who I phoned and I told him my doorbell wasn’t working. He asked, “Can you go to where your doorbell activates? It should be in such and such a place.” I didn't see it there and he’s like, “I can’t help you until you can find that.” It’s great that I can go and look for that, but an elderly person who had no clue where something was wouldn't be able to. Then when I said I didn't want Vivint's service anymore, he just said, “I’ll put you through to the department that handles that.”
The guy that got me on the phone at the end was really good. But I get that song and dance from Vivint every time. I consider myself to be a fairly accommodating person, but when it’s the fifth phone call and I’ve been 45 minutes on hold every single time, that’s taken five hours from my life. I’ve even resorted to the point of setting my alarm off to get a hold of them, which didn’t work because they didn’t even call that day.
The technician who came out here twice was awesome. He never left until he checked everything. I called him out because of the doorbell camera but he took the extra steps to check all the other little door and window attachments. He found a couple that were loose and went that little bit of an extra mile, which I really appreciated. It’s really nice because it shows somebody has pride in their job and wants the company to do well. Everybody’s been very helpful and the technicians that come out are great. But I don’t know if it’s poor quality products that Vivint uses.

Some of my friends got their security systems from Vivint and they recommended them. We got one for ourselves and their sales rep did an outstanding job and did the best he could to quote me a decent price. The guy who came and did the install did a really good job. He had to come back a time or two to do some adjustments but he was very professional and on time. He got everything that he needed to do done. We’ve been happy with the service so far. They’re good and I would recommend them.

Was greeted this morning by a ringing doorbell and ordinarily I don't give people a lot of opportunity to speak before turning them away. Chris summarized quickly that he was already a vendor of a neighbor I knew well and offered home automation, something I was very interested in. I invited him in and my fiance and I listened to his short and pointed presentation and I asked MANY questions which he answered very patiently. When we agreed this service was ideal for our needs he attempted to book installation. The installation team was on site in 10 minutes, not exaggerating. The installers were equally polite, professional and knowledgeable and finished installation of all equipment in a very noninvasive fashion and taught us how to use it very patiently. As a customer service provider, I can honestly say that in the future I will strive to provide the level of service that we received from Vivint.

After researching and having a few systems that were horrible - I decided to sign up with Vivint as they had a rep last year who came to my house and because I was already in contract with another provider I couldn't switch. Once my contract was up I started researching providers again and recognized Vivint's logo on Google. Inquired via the internet and got a call right away along with a follow-up email.
My installer Nate showed up and was not only professional but he was courteous and very friendly. Smiled a lot and engaged with me while installing the system. Nate made sure I knew how to work the system before he left. Walked through all parts of the doorbell camera, keypad, mobile app etc. I could not have asked for a better service provider in keeping my family safe. My installer was Nate ** and he definitely represented the company very well.

Had the work crew at my house for a few hours installing my system. From the moment they arrived they focused on the work at hand with no distractions (cell phones, un-work related conversation, etc.) throughout the entire install. They remained focused on getting the job done and doing it neatly and exactly what I asked of them in reference to location of devices being installed. As a business owner of a multi-million dollar company, that is hard to find in workers today. As far as the system so far, as I stated I have just got installed, so far very pleased.

We were having trouble with a smoke detector battery in the middle of the night, and the service tech on the phone took the detector offline until the detector battery could be replaced the next day. Once the battery was replaced I called the service tech line to have the detector placed back online but it could not be done for some reason on the phone. An appointment was scheduled for a tech to come to our home to correct the problem. Curtis the tech showed up on time and was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and would not give up until he got the difficult problem solved. It took him more time than he expected but worked diligently until the job was complete. He made us feel glad to have Vivint in our corner to help protect us with all of our security needs. Thanks Curtis and the Vivint team!!!

The sales reps of Vivint were all customer-oriented and the installation team was efficient and knew what they're doing. They also explained all of the stuff that was installed. For automation and monitoring, I got the service package that included front door camera, two cameras, front door lock, glass break and thermostat. The service is so far so good.

We have motion detectors and door locks put on by Vivint and we’re satisfied with their service so far. The only thing we don’t like is the keypad on the door locks go through batteries so much that it wasn’t worth keeping them. We've had Vivint come out regarding the door locks and they say it has been a problem in the past but this hasn’t been really fixed yet. We have given up on that. They’re gonna have to get better with their equipment. But their sales rep have all been good and the installers were excellent to deal with.

Vivint is excellent. We got two cameras from them because we had some stuff from our yard and my husband works away from home. We thought having Vivint would give us a good peace of mind. It's been two years now since we got them and so far everything is good. The installation team was really good and thorough. There was no issue. Now, I think we wanna upgrade and maybe get the doorbell camera.
There was an instance when there was an immediate response from Vivint after my husband set off the alarm. He's a little bit hard of hearing so when the fire alarm was going off, the people at Vivint had come through the panel to speak with him and he couldn’t hear them talking. So when they didn’t get a response from him, they just dispatched the fire trucks. By that time, they had contacted me on my cell phone and they asked if everything was okay. And I said, “Well, I'm at work, so send the fire trucks because I'm not sure who's home or what's going on.” It was all good and my husband went to the fire truck and apologized.

The Vivint team went above and beyond. They were professional and took the time to explain the process of installation and equipment in detail and were patient when I asked for further explanation. The system is super easy to use and I love how user friend the app is. We have 4 teenagers and having them use the app is a piece of cake. We thank all the Vivint team for their help in getting us set up and as a real estate agent I will definitely be recommending this system to my clients.

Vivint is an excellent product. There is no need for unethical sales. Per my conversation with Reggie this morning, I explained I love the system, I wish he would've been upfront about the initial charges to my account. Reggie didn't explain these charges until I contacted him about the debits to my personal & business checking account. His explanation was "I had you sign and that was the reason for the quality control call." Not acceptable, I retired from Sales. I hope he takes my suggestion seriously and have integrity when acquiring new clients. Vivint sells itself.

John, out of Goodwell, OK department helped me with all my questions and answers that I needed. He is very skilled and knowledgeable about his work. Everything that I needed done he finished very quickly. Also told me how to operate and manage my equipment and made it easy to understand. Very satisfied with this tech. Overall I'm very happy with the recent alarm system installation. I would give it 5 stars except for one thing. When they installed the system they didn't have a lock for the back door. We made an appt for a couple of weeks after for the installation. The window was 11-2pm. The Tech never showed up not even a phone call. I called for another appointment and was told that there was a problem with making appointments and the girl would call back. Never received a callback. I contacted them again by email and the girl was very helpful. They came on time and were done in 15 minutes. Except for that one problem I would give them 5 stars. The people on the phone are very courteous and the alarm system is great.

This was the worst company I've ever dealt with. While the field personnel were nice to work with, the overall customer service is horrible. The equipment didn't work properly, I wasn't told I would be completely locked in a contract for 5 years, the website is a complete joke, the whole thing is just a big scam. While other companies offer $30-$50 per month contracts, Vivint offered $86 per month for the same service. The salesman claimed that Vivint is the only one that uses a wireless system and that's not true.
I cancelled my service before the 5-day trial period ended and I've never had such a hard time getting a tech to come out and uninstall the equipment, but they were there within 30 minutes to install everything. 3 appointments got cancelled. The first one I didn't even know it got cancelled after I had confirmed the appointment twice and then nobody showed up, resulting in 4 hours lost time at work. This whole experience was a huge waste of time and money and I will never do that again.

All the way from the agent that scheduled our install to the installer who came to our house and installed our equipment, everyone was professional. The installer took his time and went over our package, pricing, and equipment. After everything was installed he made sure we understood how to operate the equipment. I would recommend this company 100%.

Vivint is doing pretty good so far. I got fire alarm and a medical alert. I'm not as young as I used to be and I live by myself in a duplex, upstairs/downstairs. I'm concerned about if I happen to have a fall at home, I'd need something handy to call in case of emergencies. I'm satisfied with Vivint so far. All my interactions with their reps have always been positive and the installation team was pleasant.

I have Vivint as my home security provider. I got the motion detector, keypad, camera and the thermostats. There were some issues with the installation but they came back out and handled it very professionally. It's been great so far and the security system runs well.

They were very punctual, thorough, & professional about their work. They also showed me new things about my system. Did all my updates & how to get to them on my phone. They showed me things to do to make sure all the features worked better, such as what to do for my camera to work better at night and etc.

I cannot get anyone to respond to my texts/emails. I am dissatisfied with what was promised and how it all actually works. My doorbell was put on and looks completely ridiculous. They put the sensor on my front door put in the door that does not open so it is useless. I want this system out of my house now!!

Vivint were very helpful and polite and I'm sure that I recommend anyone who wants home security to go with Vivint and the package you receive is unbelievable but I would definitely refer other to join and be a part of Vivint home security. The first security system having and the last and it's touchscreen pad and everything sync up to your phone so when you are away you can have confidence in knowing that your house is secured.

We just got our system installed yesterday so I can't comment on function over time but so far it works great. I feel much better knowing I can leave home and know my family is safe. Having two strange guys come into your home is always nerve-racking. But these two set me at ease. The level of experience and professionalism that they had made me and my family feel very comfortable. They had every answer or concern during the sale and install of my system. They were clean and presentable. Trusting and sincere. Everything I would expect one of the leading alarm companies. After this experience it'll be hard for any other company to even come close. I'm a service tech for overhead doors company of GP. And these standards is what we base customer service on. My home is on a busy street and I wanted to make sure that it was safe. I got the motion detectors, cameras, and door sensors from Vivint, and their installation team was great. They were very courteous and very fast. So far, the service has been very good.

A family member had Vivint installed in their home and this provided me with some information regarding the program. I have the door and window sensors as I wanted to be aware if someone was up in my window or door. Anytime I've needed any assistance from their reps, they've been very helpful. The only issue I have is the contract is way too long. When I signed up, I didn’t realize it was an obligation for a certain period of time. I was only notified about it when I was already signing the paperwork and the system had already been installed. Other than that, the system is great. I'm completely satisfied with Vivint.

The Vivint gentleman came in the neighborhood years ago and introduced me to their system. It was a newer system and we talked about it. The installation team was great and did a great job. They were very polite, engaging and efficient in doing their job as well as they could. One guy stayed and made sure he got it right and that it did what I wanted it to do, so I appreciate that. The services so far has been great. I have two floors in my house I wanted to keep safe and I want to make sure I covered more than one floor. I recently got the keyless entry feature. I also have a couple of alarms on the glass because I have sliding glass doors in addition to the regular entry that is covered. The sensor can be taken off and people can pull them up, so I have the glass alarm in case the glass is smashed. It's connected to the police system and also hooked up to my smoke alarm.
I have another feature which is the thermostat and I am not very happy with it. It is too complicated and not very user friendly. Even the provider who came out to put it in had to call and get someone to walk him through. He had it programmed and then there was a power outage in my neighborhood that disengaged its normal regulation. Then it kicked up all of a sudden and started being crazy. It wouldn’t shut off so I had to push buttons and somehow I got it down, but I was already too flustered. I almost wanted to get my old one put back in. But then I will call them up at the change of seasons when I need to regulate the thermostat.

Vivint reps were very good and knowledgeable. I got the panel with nine sensors. It was a good deal for what I wanted. It's good for protection. And once the bell rings, you know who's in front of your gate or the house door. I'm very happy with Vivint and had a very good experience. But I need to ask for a sensor because I lost one.

We have had the Vivint security system installed in our home for roughly two weeks now and have nothing but issues. When the representative first came to us regarding installing a system, he offered us a good deal, but was fairly pushy about how soon to install it. We went ahead and signed a contract and had the system installed. The cameras they have installed do not function as they promised. Regardless of how I adjust the settings, the cameras do not pick up me or my family walking around our home. We have the cameras set to "record on motion" and to notify us as well. The cameras do not pick up people or our dog, but they are very accurate at picking up light changes, such as when a cloud moves in front of the sun and the light changes in our home. The doorbell camera will pick up our wind chimes moving, but not the delivery person who walks up to our front door, rings the doorbell and drops off packages.
The cameras also offer live viewing from smartphones and other devices, however this feature only seems to work when we are in our home. As soon as we leave our home, this function seems to become unavailable. This is extremely disappointing and makes me wonder how accurate their other security features are. This has become more of a hassle than a comfort of security. We have spoken to our representative about these issues several times and done all the necessary changes and followed the suggestions he has made, but to no avail. We scheduled a technician to come to our home and look at the equipment, but he showed up on the wrong day, causing us to reschedule.
We are at the point now where if this issue does not get resolved after we meet with the technician, we will be terminating our contract. Not only are we have issues with the equipment and other mishaps, we are also feeling pushed into upgrading our equipment. Each time I have spoken with our representative regarding our technical issues, he keeps pushing us to upgrade and pay more money monthly and install their DVR device, saying this will fix our technical issues. I refuse to upgrade and purchase more equipment, when the equipment sold to us so far has not functioned to the standards promised. I am very unhappy with the lack of customer care and the functionality of their equipment.

I have call now 3-5 times about my doorbell camera not working right and it still doesn't. It only works about 16% of the time. The other night we had someone in our driveway and didn't even know it until we was going outside to leave. I can't say I feel safe at all nor can I say I'm even somewhat happy cause I'm not. I feel like I'm paying to have cameras up just for show cause they sure don't work most of the time.

Left in the dark by my representative named Brett. It's been 15 days and no service and installation is not complete. I had to call the home office to arrange my own installation. I like the system but can't stand being lied to. We'll see if they show up tomorrow. I would love to add an image of the boxes sitting in my entryway that contain some equipment.
Updated 8/30/2016 - This is the continuing saga of my experience with Vivint. It's been 20 days since I signed with the company and still no satisfaction. They failed to install my system as stated in the contract. I called on day 16 and they stated that I was beyond my cancellation date. Then, I reached someone who stated that I have to fax a cancellation letter to (801) 377-4116. I did that 4 times and still no word 5 days later. One thing I may be sure of is that they could not get an installer to my home, but they will get someone to remove the few products that were installed at my home. What a sorry example of customer service. They have my money-but no one wants to contact me and rectify this problem.

When I first sign up with Vivint everything was great. After a few months I started getting calls saying my account was past due. My account was on auto pay. It was never past due. I live in Ca and was being called for a property located in Tx. Month after month, I received apologies and promises to rectify the situation. Well here I am, 3 months after I paid an early termination fee, and I am now receiving calls about my closed account. It started with an email. I called and supposedly had gotten everything straightened out. I was assured that my account was being closed. I have now received a call every day since then asking for a past due balance on my closed account! This last person I spoke with apologized and stated that I didn't have a balance and she wasn't sure why I was still on the call list. Not only did I get a call today but they are now calling my husband as well, on a zero balanced closed account!

I've been very satisfied with Vivint. I have the home alarm system, the auto lock on the front door, the glass break, and smoke alarm. Their sales rep showed us how to work everything and everything went really well. We had to do a little rearrangement on where we installed the panel at, but the installers worked with me on that and we got it in the best place for it to work. Everything’s been really positive. The only weird thing that has happened is one afternoon, for no reason, the alarm went off. We had been outside working and had left the door standing open. All of a sudden, it went off and said the backdoor was ajar. We never figured out why it happened. We just put it up as a fluke and it hasn’t happened again. Customer service has always been great and willing to work with me. The whole experience overall has been good.

We were renting a house and there were some guys from Vivint who were walking around visiting house to house. They were friendly, very informative and not pushy even if we were in a different position at that time since we were renting. I got the name and number of one of them and when we moved to a place that was not out of town but kind of secluded, we decided to go ahead and get their service. We have the basic service package with the door alarm, glass break detector and the key fob. It took a couple of hours to install where the installer looked through the house, placed things where he thought would be best and kind of talked us through some stuff so I thought he did a good job.
We've had a few false alarms and they were very quick to respond. The last one that we had was early on a Saturday morning when we were loading a cooler with ice and the glass break picked that up. Within 15 to 30 seconds, they were calling to make sure that everything was okay. We also had one last year where me and my husband were both at work and one of the doors that goes into the garage from the house was opened a little bit. It must have been the air that kicked on it. We immediately got a notification. I'm sure they called the panel and no one answered then they called me at work and notified the police. My husband met them off there and they walked through if there was anything. So the notifications are nice that you can look and go back to see if someone forgot to shut that door and I like that part. Having Vivint makes me have peace of mind.

I was referred to Vivint by my neighbor after our house got broken into. He thinks the reason why they weren't robbed was because of the Vivint sign in their front yard. Furthermore, they can see what's going on at all times from their phone. It's amazing. It's like a peace of mind that you don't mind paying for. So we went to their store and we knew what we wanted. We got two cameras as well as front, back and garage door sensors. The app has a very seamless integration into our home. The staff that installed it has been nothing but good. Overall, they were very professional and the app works. It has been a great experience.

Sales person was determined to sell in a non-aggressive approach. Could have permitted 1 day to review or check into system before being so determined especially in a day where scams are on the rise. Emma was first installer. She was ok. Not impressed that she did not return to install a new router & disconnected a part of my garage door that stopped the keypad from working. I called salesman Mike ** who had Andrew complete the job and repair my garage door. Andrew was exceptional. All were professional.

I did a little research on what I need and so I got window security, door security, inside security, and glass break included in our service package from Vivint. I had no problem with their sales rep and their installation team was knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. I haven't had anybody break in since they put the system in and I'm happy with it to this point. Our experience with Vivint has been very good.

I had Vivint at my old house. I like them and I’ve stayed with them close to 10 years. To get my new alarm and equipment installed, their staff worked with me on timing and were very nice. In the service package I got from them, it included a big sensor in my living room, front door and back door, sensors on my windows, and a little console. Their technical support were fabulous. I always rave about their system on my neighborhood chat when people are looking for security.

We liked Vivint's service with the installation of their solar panels so when they came along with a good deal on home security, we switched over and signed up with them. But with my previous security company, I get an email which would tell me my doorbell rang, go online and see the picture of who rang my doorbell. With Vivint on the other hand, I only get it on the control unit that sits in my house. That's a little disappointing and I don't have a smartphone so I don't have the app as well.
What's also been a bit of a problem is I'm confused about why the two services I have from Vivint have separate numbers, people, and billings. I like it all bundled into one. But, other than that, the sales reps from Vivint security were absolutely wonderful and their installers were very professional, skilled and helpful. They showed me how to use the security system and cleaned up when they finished.

Vivint system never worked continuous without some sort of failure. Could never get my doorbell camera to work consistently. Reason I got the system In the first place was for my daughter's security. Had to have the doorbell camera changed twice, panel once and the thermostat was also changed. Had issues with the key-less entry pad. I've called and talked to technicians about 15 times or more to walk me through the system to try and get it back in order. When that failed they wanted to send someone out for a fee which I can understand, if the problem was new. It was always the same problems.
Today (8/22/16) my technician never called or showed up to make repairs. My system is not operable and we are not safe and secure. The only plus I'm getting is a discount from my homeowners. It is not worth the headache much less the expensive service I'm paying for and not getting. I would not recommend this system to anyone. I'm considering calling BBB and pulling it out to send it back to Utah where they are from. I stress, DO NOT GET THIS SYSTEM!!!

We had a panel moved to the master bedroom and two key fobs added. The tech was great. Very calm and very patient. He allowed me to tag along and he was efficient with his install. He took extra time to ensure the install was as minimally invasive as possible. He also made very helpful equipment recommendations.

We didn't have any kind of alarm system so we got Vivint when they knocked on our door. The installation team was thorough and put the system in really quick. The service has been excellent. Every time they call me when something goes wrong in my house, it's been great. They always notified me or the second contact person and that's what I really joined for in case I've gone out of my house. So the reason why I joined has been pretty successful.

I got cameras, window sensors, and door locks included with the service package I bought from Vivint. These features are for the part of the house I needed security on. The installation went very smoothly, and they got it done quicker than I thought it would be. The only thing is that at the time of the installation, they didn’t have the cameras available due to a lack of production. I had to wait for six months before I got the cameras installed. I also had a little issue with some of my door locks, but Frontpoint was very responsive on getting it repaired. It has been a good experience.

My children feel safe, and I'm confident that we will remain safe with the Vivint Home Security System. I had system problem. Was told I had to wait 2 weeks for tech to come out. This is totally unacceptable. Tech came out. Fixed it for one day. Went down again. Had to wait another week. Had appointments on 8/16/16 and 8/19/16 to have a technician fix problem. Doorbell goes offline every day. This system is only 2 weeks new to us. Please "help"! Technician wants me to call him when it quits, but does not answer his phone. We need help to resolve this everyday issue. Don't think I need to reboot panel everyday...

Great service. New manager from Austin was going to all the customers in 'The Woodlands Burnet' and introducing himself. I told him that a man was coming to do the service and he said he could do it while he was here. He did so and saved a trip for fellow workers. Nice guy.

The sales pitch was open and honest, from a friendly guy. The install was fast and efficient from the technicians. Teamwork was displayed when another technician showed up after he had completed his own install to ensure things were going ok at our house. They discussed options with the many camera angles and I felt their advice was trustworthy. Home security is a touchy subject to many people and this is something they didn't tread lightly on. It really felt as if they were securing their own home. Very pleased so far. Thank you.

I have Vivint Solar and I asked about Vivint Security. I got their motion and indoor camera as I thought it would be important for the home. When I decided to set the camera up, it wasn’t working. And I think I have to pay for Vivint to come in and check it out, and I didn’t see why I should. Apart from that, I don’t have a problem and I’m sort of satisfied with their services. Their reps were good in terms of customer support and in dealing with any problems I had or clarifying things. It went okay with their installers too although they weren't able to show me how to operate things because they were in a hurry to get out.

There was already a Vivint system in my home when I bought it. It was no longer active, so I started a new service with them. However, I'm currently very unsatisfied with it. Two weeks ago now, we went on vacation and were out of cell phone service. My alarm triggered and the reps called my contacts who were in town. People went by and looked outside the house and couldn’t see what happened.
When we were inside the cell phone service, we got a text message from my mother saying that the alarm company had called. I tried to call Vivint and their customer service phone number was automatically running through a hold cycle. It never picked up and asked what I wanted. It didn’t give me a button to press to speak to a person. So I drove 46 miles into town to try and speak to someone and waited on hold for almost 20 minutes and we never have spoken to anyone.
While I was on hold, I Facebook messaged them and was able to get someone to message me back. I asked them if I could have someone call me. It didn’t happen. I got an email survey about my alarm going off and I responded to it. The rep said I can give them a call. I said I didn't have questions about what happened and the house was okay but I was very disappointed in the customer service I received and no one acknowledged it.
Prior to that, the service had been wonderful. I pay $50 a month so that if I go out of town and something happens, hopefully, I can reach someone rather than having to ask friends and family to go check my house. I've enjoyed Vivint's service and recommended it to several people. It's always been very personable and I can always call and get a hold of someone. I've been happy until this happened. It was very frustrating as I have no idea what happened that day that no one was answering the phone. I even tried a different number with my husband’s phone and we were both getting the same response. I planned on looking into what I can do about my contract and setting it out. I'm more disappointed that they haven't reached out and they know my contract will be up within the next year.

The service from Vivint has been exceptional. They were fast and were here at 10 o'clock at night finishing up the installation. Every once in a while when I set the alarm off they’ll call me and I tell them it was my fault. The response time was very fast. I was bothered though one time when I accidentally set it off and they didn’t contact me. I called them and they said I had turned it off quick enough that they weren't worried that it was a prowler. They were very nice about it.

Kent is great technician, knows his work well and very patient to answer all the questions even if you repeated them. Monitored security is important but most of all it made life easy. I was thinking about getting a security system for the house so I started looking online for the different vendors and the equipment they offer including reviews and from there, I decided to get Vivint. I got the system that has indoor and outdoor cameras and a Nest. I have online access where I can lock and unlock doors through the app and I'm able to control the thermostat too.
I had a little bit of glitches at the beginning but they took care of it. I was a little bit unhappy with the original installation. I talked to a supervisor, they fixed what was wrong and my equipment has been working since then. They always take care of me. Their system works so I'm happy with their service. Whenever I have questions, they can answer them. There was a time when the system would reboot on its own, I asked for a technician to come over to take a look at the equipment. They were on time and friendly and they replaced my panel. Overall, they have great service and product.

We live in a high-end neighborhood and one of my neighbors down the road said that somebody had been peeping in her window. That scared me a little bit and I thought we better be safe than sorry. My neighbor had Vivint put in and we were talking about it outside while some guy was putting it in her house. We inquired about it and decided to get it ourselves. That was two years ago and I've had no issues since then. The installation went very smoothly and they showed us how it works. My alarm has accidentally gone off about three times and it's nice the way everything was handled. The police have gone out to my house once so I feel like I can trust them. Overall, we were very happy and satisfied.

I was really shocked at how friendly and patient the technician was. He was very thorough and ensured he left me with a better understanding of how to manage my system's hardware. He also recommending some great maintenance techniques as well changed all the batteries in my doors and updated the naming convention of the hardware (was a bit confusing before).

The maintenance service was scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2016 between 8:00 and 11:00 AM. The technician called in advance, night before, to confirm his arrival. He also called in the morning prior to arrival and was very specific about his arrival at 8:15 AM. He came exactly at 8:15 AM. The technician was very knowledgeable. He had outstanding professionalism and perform great job. He explained everything. He was doing and provided answers to all questions asked. An all around great company to work with. The sales representative was professional, knowledgeable and took the time to completely cover each and every option and answer any questions we presented. While in our residence the representative setup the installation, which occurred within half an hour of the scheduling. The installer was totally prepared, had all of the equipment in his vehicle and accomplished the installation in a short of time. The tech guy was excellent. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything on how to use the system. So far I am happy with the system. The only complaints I have about the system are I wish the doorbell camera was 1080p HD instead of 720 and the wifi was more stable and the picture was full screen and not partial. I also wish they had hard wired some cameras instead of the wifi bullet cameras. I also wish you could open and close the garage door with the key fob. They told me you could when I first signed up for the system but found out today you can't. I don't see why you couldn't because we are not even using the small 4th button on the key fob. Why couldn't they use it for the garage door opener? I don't even understand why they have the 4th button on the remote if you are not going to use it. Other than that I am happy with the system so far.

Tech came to our home and was very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm happy to now have security for my home and family. A friend of mine has Vivint home security in Alaska and his heat went out at his home. He would have had to spend thousands of dollars on busted water pipe repairs, but because Vivint contacted him when the temperature dropped he was able to get home and get the heat going again.

I was thinking of getting an alarm system. A very nice gentleman from Vivint stopped by and I made the decision to get the alarm system, thermostats, a few modules, like the lamp which I don't really use too much and one camera. I had a security system in my home when it was built in the late 80's and they were able to tie in with that partially so that I didn't have to have a lot of sensors in the house.
I've had problems and had someone come out several months ago and thought we fixed them, but there's just always something. Generally, over the years, there have been issues and most of the time they were fixed. But I just don't expect this to happen so often, and so I'm not real happy about that. Sometimes I'll punch the code in and walk away thinking that I punched it in and the alarm system went off. It's a good thing I have the voice thing and then, all of a sudden, she'll say, "Armed away." I just came in the house and disarmed it, why would it say 'armed away'? It's doing weird things a lot of times, so I was going to call customer service and see if they could send someone else out or do it from there.
The latest tech out was a girl that came because the lock wasn't working correctly, which she changed for me. She was very good, conscientious and really wanted to solve my problems, unlike some I've had in the past that just came, did what they needed and took off. The monitoring is great, they are right there. Whenever I do a call everyone seems to be eager to help, so I've been happy with that. Prices are going up quite a bit, and I keep getting things from ADT and other companies. This upsets me when little things like this start happening and maybe I need to be looking.

My son and his wife had Vivint then when my husband passed away I'm all by myself and I wanted to feel secure in every way so I called Vivint. I have the glass thing on my doors and on all my windows throughout the house. I have a little key fob too that I use all the time. We had a few problems at first but we have worked it out so I'm happy with it. I've also been satisfied with everybody at Vivint. I like the security of knowing that my house is covered and I can sleep better at night not worried about somebody breaking in. I've triggered the alarm several times from my stupidity but I immediately got a call from them. They usually call on my home phone and if they can't reach me that way, then right away they call my cell.

There were things happening around town so we thought we'd get ahead of the game and got Vivint. Our service package includes the windows, garage door, front door, the patio door, and cameras. The service started out really good but I'm not so sure now. The back camera records all kinds of nothing but I'm never on camera every time I walk outside. I really like the doorbell camera but it doesn't seem to be working too well because I can't connect it with my phone to talk to whoever rings the bell in the front door if I'm not home. We thought it was really good but now we're wondering.
When we first got our system, the sales guy who was here was really nice and seemed to know what he was talking about and that was good. I had to call while we were away and they reset my system remotely, which was good 'cause it had stopped working. The installer was fine but our sales guy didn't point out to us that we've got a mountable camera. I wanted a camera outside and it wasn't available. It was $250. And then a guy came by a little while ago here and talked to us and then I found out that the camera was part of the deal now. So I called and had that changed.

These young people seem to operate out their vehicles... and the push for customers can somehow override the experience. Speak with me personally, and I am happy to share. A pan and tilt camera failed. I worked with your Tech Support and they said the camera was under warranty and put in an order for a new camera. I was told that it would take 3 weeks to receive. After 4 weeks I called and was told that the order was canceled because you no longer support the camera and you don't have a system to let customers know when an order is canceled.
Instead of replacing the pan and tilt camera I was told that I would be provide a fixed range camera ($50 less than the pan and tilt). I was told that you would not credit my account for the difference in price of the cameras, however, if I agreed to extend my contract for an additional 3 years, you would give me a 2nd fixed range camera (two cameras just about covers the same areas as the failed pan and tilt).

The fixed camera is the closest replacement we have available at this time if the pan and tilt camera needs to be replaced. Modern system for an advanced world. Doorbell and camera/video alerts me on my cell. Always know who is at my door at home or out of the country. I can talk to the person at the door through my cell anywhere or through the panel. Live person on panel, prevents false alarms. Love it!

Our experience with Vivint for a lack of better words has been unbelievably horrible. It has taken almost a month to get our security system installed. We had 2 technicians come for two different appointments and neither one completed the job. Vivint scheduled 4 different appointments and canceled each one without notifying us of any cancellation. My salesman for my system during the sales process told me he would be there through every step of the process until the installation was complete. I have left him numerous emails and several voicemails with not a response from him to this day. A week ago I sent in my cancellation letter to Vivint because I could not get a date for my system to be installed completely. I finally was transferred to the ROR dept that convinced me to give Vivint one more opportunity and I agreed.
I received a called from an installer whose name was Dominique prior to his arrival to our home today. He explained when we should expect him and that he would be taking care of our install. Due to our past experience with promises not being kept and things not being complete we weren't too hopeful that this appointment would be any different. Wow, were we wrong. I can't tell you how much Dominique is an asset to your company. I have never met a more polite gentleman and hard worker than Dominique. He had no idea what type of situation he was walking into and I'm here to tell you he handled it with nothing but kindness and respect. I'm writing this review to tell you that if it wasn't for Dominique we would no longer be customers of Vivint.
Please make sure he knows how vital he is to your company and how satisfied we are with his professionalism and hard work ethic. He had a lot to offer and in my opinion is not being used in his full capacity as an employee. He has so much to offer and thankful that he was our saving grace during a very frustrating situation. It restored hope that the next 36 months with Vivint will be just as enjoyable as our experience tonight.

I always had an alarm system in my homes. I signed up with AT&T, which Vivint ended up buying. We have the alarm system, the remote controls, and the older keypad that they had prior to what they have now. Vivint's service is okay and they are pleasant when I pay the bill or when the system accidently goes off. They didn't knock my socks off though. I haven't updated my alarm system to the fact that I'm sure they got new features but they also haven't called me in reference to updating. They're like any other security company and I still gotta pay them monthly and it's not a big deal. I'd recommend them.

My house was burglarized before. I told Vivint exactly how many sensors I wanted and what I was looking for and they were able to fit that within their new customer package. The representatives were super helpful. The package would've come with less sensors but they worked out a deal for me which made me happy. I have the wireless touch screen system with wireless window units, door sensors, as well as motion sensors. The service is great. Vivint makes me feel safe and it already deterred one other burglary. When I needed somebody to fix something, they came out and were super nice so it’s been good. They're a great company and I’m very happy with them. It's been a very positive and enjoyable experience.

Vivint worked with us to get all package options installed. They were even willing come back out and move the wall panel to a location that works well with the system, but is unobtrusive.

I wanted to protect my family as much as possible so I've had Vivint's complete monitoring system since 2009. The rep who came out initially was very helpful, very knowledgeable, and very professional. He walked through everything with me - how the system works, what the best options were, how we were going to execute. All those things were addressed. I'm totally satisfied with them. The alarm system works great and all interactions I've had with their reps have been positive. I have not had any problems with lack of service or lack of response. The service has been good. I recommended them to a number of people.

I've had Vivint even before they had a different name and everything has been very good. They had to put a new one in because they didn't have the part of the old one anymore, and they showed me how to use it but I've set it off a few times because I don't touch it right.

I signed up with Vivint about 2 yrs ago. Thankfully my contract is soon approaching. Since install I've had terrible service and nothing but trouble. Sensors not working, panel not working, cameras failing. Then when you call customer service they are unprofessional and lack any concern for their failing equipment. Then they expect you to pay while most of the equipment is not working. It has to be the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I would highly recommend not signing up with Vivint.

I have just purchased Vivint and I thought the technician was very courtesy and informative. He explained everything that he was doing while installing my new system. On my way out, I triggered the system by accident, but the Vivint staff were on top of things and called me to make sure everything was okay. This is the main reason I changed security companies. If I pay for a service, I deserve to have that service.

The representative I talked to about my dilemma of losing the panic button was very understanding. I haven't received my button yet, although it may come today. I voiced my concern to her about the tendency of bracelet of coming loose. The cloth isn't very durable. I added some velcro to an extra cloth on, as well as removing teeth retainer. This I'll add to new bracelet or fix same when I receive it. I don't know if I was given an order number for bracelet when I talked to representative last week.

From day ONE, their billing dept has been nothing but a joke. At first I allowed them to have my checking account number and debit card number so they could automatically deduct the monthly payment. However, their billing dept could NOT get their act together and do what they had promised that they would do. After three months I called them to ask them WHY they hadn't deducted the payments each month. Their response was "we'll get to it when we can." The problem is I'm a 100% disabled veteran and I cannot afford a bill to get so large that I'm unable to pay it all at once.
So I again telephoned them again and stated if they were so irresponsible to take it out as agreed upon that I wanted to be billed each month and I would do their job for them, that way it would not accumulate into a large bill. So I asked my Credit Union to see if I could do an overnight or a two day payment. After going around and around with Vivint Billing dept they refused to allow anyone to use the normal method of Bank BillPay through the (ACH) Automatic Clearing House for overnight BillPay. So now I'm forced to send them a check that can, and often does take nine to twelve days to clear, making me go through more trouble in waiting for them to cash my check.
NOW, HOLD IT!!! I'm the customer who just wants to pay my bills on time without waiting up to two weeks including weekends before I can determine what money I have left over for personal needs. Yes, their system is OK, but not great, or at best not good enough for putting up with their BS. OH yes, if you want you can call them every month and pay it by giving them your debit card, but what does that solve when you're going to have to call them each and every month for the next four years.
Also, every time I call them they are full of excuses, and do they have a book full. If their CEO Todd Pedersen gave a damn he could do something, but it all comes down to a person that would like to pay his bill without all the trouble that they themselves have caused. It use to be that "The customer was always right, especially if he want to pay his bill without being hassled to death because of their incompetence." So, my honest opinion is this company is not worth all the trouble that they cause.

I live in Conway Arkansas with my wife shelia, we have been married 23 yrs and lived in same home and love our home. We have never had children but always raised one or two cats and a few dogs such as 6 we have right now lol. But we have always discussed the want and need for a great security system and had shopped around such with att but never been able to feel confident enough with pitches dig? So until a few days ago I met at my front door a young clean cut down to earth fella named jake. I introduced myself he did same and I just knew this guy was a laid back non pushy type of some kinda sales and that helped me relax around a stranger at my front door. He asked a few questions and I was more than happy with the company profile he explained he was with. I was like, "Hey call me and my wife have been wanting a security company to help us out for some time".
Jake explained a few more things and whammo I was all cards in. So jake sold me and shelia a great deal of a system. And had even that evening another young man named tyler come out and install the system and explain the operations and geez listen folks Im telling ya talk about patience with all our crazy questions, lol our dogs barking and stuff lol. Tyler and jake both were very nice to me and shelia and we got everything they said they were selling us and plus some and we met some really nice cool intelligent couple of cool dudes. Ty ever so much tyler and jake. We will be having more work for ya in the near future at our other couple houses. And heck maybe some solar energy stuff we seen on the web.
So anyways. Remember what I said to att when they asked me about do I have a security system while we were buying our first smart phones from them? I said yeah I have someone doing my security right now and I wouldn't have anyone else. I told att to not even try asking cause I have the best there is period. Well heck. Thanks guys. We have a security system from Vivint which includes cameras so we can keep an eye on the house while we're gone. However, sometimes we have problems when the electricity goes off. Their system is supposed to be there for eight hours but it ends up being an hour and this has happened a couple of times that we've been gone. Other than that, it's been okay. Their installation team was very helpful, very nice, and professional. I'm very happy with Vivint.

Vivint paid for all the equipment as long as they could put a sign in my yard because it had the corner lot going into this big neighborhood. We had the thermostat, the doorbell camera and the garage opener. There were also the standard security features that I already had on that house, which were a couple of other cameras I had already pre-mounted. All the wiring was completely done so they didn’t have to do much.
The sales rep was very knowledgeable and he answered all the questions that we had. The installer was also pretty good, but he messed up my water softener system and cut one of the lines we got there. We had to have them come back out and redo it, and they they got that taken care of and paid the bill for me. They were pretty timely about their stuff.
Overall, it was pretty smooth dealing with everybody at Vivint and I'm pretty satisfied with the way they do business. Also, I've really enjoyed the system. We've just sold our house and it made it convenient for us because we travel a lot. We had a lot of interviews and people who would go check up on our house so it was easy to unlock, lock and see who's there. When they're not there, the system is armed. A lot of people liked our equipment and it's fun when you get to talk to them.

Elvis was our Vivint home installer. Super knowledge about all the products that he installed. I thought that while he installed I would be able to work on personal projects. However as he was installing he pretty much was telling me what he was installing, why and its functions. He showed me how to use the app, add codes, etc. Any questions I had he answered, any reiterations I needed he repeated and also told me that he would be happy to come back and answer any questions. I hope Vivint values Elvis as an employee, because I sure did.

I got all the bells and whistles from Vivint including smoke and fire alarms. They're great and I'm 100% satisfied. My sales rep was a real good person and the installation team was very knowledgeable. There wasn't a whole lot of going around and I've got exactly what they said I was going to get. To be accurate and fair, I called the call center and was given information, and did not like it. I was going to go with another company. Had them scheduled for service on Tuesday. Pat showed up at my door and explained the system in person. He explained it so well that I was more impressed with it and changed my mind, and canceled the other company, and went with Vivint. If it was not for him showing up I would have went with the other company for sure. Was very impressed with his knowledge and the information he gave me.
On top of all of that the installation was immediate and they were fantastic. Thank you very much. If I was this company. I understand that people want the information right away but I did not like the information I received over the phone and that did make up my mind on what company I was going with. If Pat did not show up I would not have your system for sure. Thank you Pat for showing up. I will tell my fellow nurses exactly how I was treated and hopefully they do call for this service. I will be giving them Pat's name and have them call if they need security service.

Let me start by saying that Vivint is NOT the "cheapest" security system on the market. However, it is WELL worth the minimal additional costs per month. The system has so many great features (cameras, motion sensors, automation, applications, remote control, etc.). The sales process was excellent and the installation was really pleasant. The system is simple to use (even for young children) and provides us with a real sense of security. After owning, installing, and monitoring with several other competitive solutions, we are the most satisfied with our Vivint System and would recommend it to others.

My husband works at nights and I had a brand new baby so we decided to get a security system and we got Vivint. For the first two years, I loved them. I never had any problems. However, when the battery of my sensors started to go, they couldn't take them off because it was glued to my window sills so they had to come out here and reinstall new ones. Therefore, my alarms are going off at all hours of the night. Then there was one problem that took four separate visits for them to come out and fix and I was going to be charged $100 for it when in fact they did not install it correctly the first time. It was a real pain when the alarm goes off at 2:00 in the morning with two kids sleeping.
The original installer did everything wrong, which is causing the majority of my problems now. I still have two more sensors that the batteries haven't gone out on and I can't pop to launch the batteries if they get to be replaced. It would be nice if they just came out here and took care of it all at once rather than wait for the sensors to go out before they come over. After my last experience, I'm indifferent. I would never recommend it to anyone based off of my past experience. I'm dissatisfied with it.

From Vivint, we have cameras in the living room and at the doorbell, and a couple of window and door sensors. We were out of state when we got broken into. The alarm went off and scared the robbers away. Vivint's response was very quick. Most of my interactions with their sales reps have been good. The installation team has always been very quick. They’ve been good at explaining how things work. However, there was some confusion with some of the additions that we added after the robbery. I was quoted one price but charged another and they said I heard it incorrectly. It was fixed to their satisfaction, not mine. But other than that, I’m very happy with Vivint.

Every Vivint representative that entered my home was very professional yet did not talk over my head. They listened to my questions, and answered every one. They also were very friendly with my fur babies and even alerted me when one got out and went out to help and make sure I got her back. They made sure I knew how to work the equipment. And they cleaned up after themselves.

An old Vivint system was installed when we purchased the house. Waited a few years to activate it, until a salesman came to the door and explained the promotion to get into the "smart" world for a very minimal monthly cost and little equipment cost. Extremely handy being able to see home functions from your smart phone and the history queue of events on the run. With pets at home it's nice to know someone is looking out for them even when we are not home. Installation of new devices and system setup happened same day and took less than an hour. Very convenient.

I knew about Vivint when my daughter got it. I have them for more than five years and it works really well. I have called them a couple of times and then they got right on and fixed it. I've never been unhappy with it. Their reps are knowledgeable enough to handle me. Then when my mother was alive, she had an alert button and she would punch that button when she would fall in her bathroom at the front of the house. Even if the back panel is here in the back hallway, they never missed a trip and they would have an ambulance here in three or four minutes. I had the panic button for the last two years my mother was here and it has always been Vivint. Overall, everybody's gonna have some problems once in a while, but when I've had a problem, they got right on it and worked it out that day.

We travel so we have Vivint's security system including the cameras and a window system. Their service has been pretty satisfactory. When we have called recently and set things up, the last person that I talked to was extremely helpful. He did a great job and made sure everything was really set. We were rushing to get through, so I think some things got a little bit jostled. The guy before him forgot to put certain things in but he was really good and stayed on the phone until everything was together. I just hope that they get the doorbell cameras which I want to order. They were out of stock and it would be really great to have one.

I purchased Vivint six years ago because it was necessary for safety. The interactions with the salesman then was good, but it hasn't been that great currently with their staff 'cause I tried to call and upgrade. Trying to add to my service was challenging and was not as easy as I would have liked or as the company would probably have hoped. It put pressure on me to call them and schedule an appointment, which was frustrating for my schedule.
When I told the person from Vivint that I had an issue and I was thinking about adding a camera on, I asked about the deal and if I could have the technician who's coming out to explain to me and give me a package. They agreed. They had to do a sim card exchange in the device. The technician that they sent out was very helpful, personable and professional. He was from out of state and was not familiar with the area, but provided great service. Overall, Vivint is still great. Their service is good and reliable. Their response time has been excellent and they called when there were issues.

I had my Vivint Smart Security System installed today and I couldn't be happier. The product is easy to use and looks great. The app is also wonderful. The system has more functionality than I expected and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to configure your settings if you want them changed. The installer did a wonderful job and was very professional. I will recommend to all my friends. Thanks!

I had an excellent experience with both the techs (company/home). They were concern that I didn't panic and worked on it from their office. The problem reoccurred the next day, corrected the problem again, but will sent a tech to my home to check equipment. Tech called to tell me arrival time and he was here in that time frame (very punctual). All equipment was checked out. EXCELLENT JOB!!!

I've been very happy with our Vivint service. We recently moved and decided to go with Vivint again in our new home. They were very helpful when transferring our service and installing the new system in our new home. The installer was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. As far as the alarm company, we have been with Vivint for a long time before they were even Vivint. We've never had an issue with our service. They have always been there when we needed them. I would recommend to anyone!

July 27, Vivint system was installed 9pm. Ben, salesperson, sold the system for $85 a month. Daniel, installer. My DCU account was charged $92. July 31, called Vivint, spoke with Kim about ORT time and the changes to my account. August 1, spoke with Nataly, manager, who transferred to Daniel. I requested service adjustment. I am to return the indoor camera, two z-wave light switches, and two Nests. I requested an additional door sensor for the basement door. The monthly fee was reduced to $60. Daniel scheduled the technician appointment to collect unused equipment on Wednesday August 3, 8-11am. August 3 technician did not show up. I called Vivint at 10:45, spoke with Antonio to reschedule for Friday August 5th, 8-11am.
August 5th, technician did not show up. I called Vivint 11:10am, spoke with Angela. She rescheduled for Tuesday August 9th, 8-11am. She also gave me a discount adjustment of $15 for the no-show. August 9th, technician did not show up. I called Vivint 11am. I was on the phone for 40 min with Mike trying to figure out where the technician was. Mike rescheduled the appointment for Thursday, August 11, 8-11am. August 11th, technician did not show up. This time I decided not to call Vivint. I just packed their unused devices in a bag to see if they are going to call me now to come and pick them up.

Both men from Vivint were great! They made you feel like they were part of your family. They explained everything for me. They were well dressed, clean looking and held themselves in a professional manner. I would recommend them to everybody I know and let them know this can keep you safe in many ways. I have to say I am beyond extremely impressed with Vivint. The professional rapport, level of knowledge, and the level of customer service we received was outstanding. Far above any other. Our representatives were John and Nikki. They were straightforward, and very pleasant to speak with. We were installed within hours. I am blown away by the amount of service you receive for the cost. The clarity of the cameras, and especially the night vision outdoor camera is way above the level I expected. The services well exceed ADT, Power Home Technologies, and many other system providers we have personally researched or had in the past. I will highly recommend this company, as well as these two representatives to anyone who is looking for an amazing smart home security system.

We've been using Vivint for about four years on four houses. I wanted to make sure we had security so we got the windows and doors as well as the cameras which were very helpful. They've been very reliable and every time we accidentally set off the alarm, they were right on the intercom with us. The sales reps have also been very helpful on all the parts and the installers were very courteous. They are outstanding.

At this point, I have Vivint's smoke detectors, door monitoring, and a motion sensor. I got them primarily for the protection of my home. So far, I'm very satisfied with their service. However, the original installation was not done well. It was a sloppy installation. The technician ran into one of my kitchen cabinets with a drill bit and scratched it. But I believe the person who did that isn't with Vivint anymore and that happened quite a few years ago. Since then, I've been very satisfied with all of the technicians as well as any other installations or upgrades that have been done.

I received a new wristband today and it will not stay clasped. It fell off and now I am afraid I will lose it. The elastic is ideal, but need a better clasp.
