    This a review not necessarily on the company but on its sales rep. Her name is Jasmine. First she very courteous, well informed, patient to answer questions, and very interactive. She made an assessment of what we needed which coincided exactly with what we needed. I don't care for the monitoring service, however, I like the equipment she offered.     Vivint Smart Home is the absolute worst home security system provider. We only signed with them because the sales rep Cody ** said we would have one year to cancel penalty free. He completed all the paperwork on his tablet so we couldn't see it (even filled in our names and address incorrectly). Now 6 months in, their equipment is malfunctioning and when we try to cancel they are refusing to honour his verbal commitment and locking us into a 5 year contract.

    I have reported this to the BBB and am filing a complaint with Service Alberta Consumer Investigations Unit. Does anyone else have any experience with a Vivint sales rep making them promises and then saying they "don't remember" the conversation? I'm sure if it was his money he would remember it... Looking into pursuing legal action. I am not one to air my dirty laundry online but we have contacted the company privately numerous times and they are unwilling to stand behind the promises of their employee or offer any type of reasonable solution. They're supposed to protect our home, not steal from us. #vivintsucks #vivintlies #vivintsteals #**vivint

    My work order was not correct. At time of install was being charged $200 more. My discount was not updated. My $9 fee at time of install turned to a charge of $540 removed from my bank account and now I have to wait 3-5 working days to get credit and in the mean time I have other transactions trying to go through. My tech did not notify me of my security word at time of install. All this on my first day with Vivint. I should have stayed with my previous provider.

    Sales brief was straight forward, 5 stars there. Equipment is pretty expensive. The install was very rushed and not that good. I thought the system was going to be hard wired before holes were drilled, holes were drilled. Just got the wires to come back out the outlets and plugged in. Installers did not have proper hardware to get power to the drive way camera so it is off line until I find a way to plug it in. Install was not done clean at all, with that I'm dissatisfied and disappointed..

    Vivint was wonderful, until it was time to move and we needed to cancel our service. Then, the headache begin. We are currently in a 2 month battle of cancelling our service. We paid off our equipment, and Vivint is trying to still charge us for our service in an Oklahoma home where the current owner is already paying for services with our paid off equipment. This is called double dipping and illegal. So, on October 30th we were told by Daxon that we would not owe anymore and that everything was settled. However, we received a call from Daniel today that said the cancellation wasn't complete. So, after going through the entire ordeal and explanation again, Daniel said this would be resolved.

    Well, I just received another email stating our cancellation was unsuccessful and that we would have to pay out our service until 2022!!!! While we aren't using the service. So we are being told that we have to pay a service we aren't utilizing, while they are still getting paid by the person who bought our home for the service that we originally signed up for with our paid equipment!!! Needless to say, when we move back home in 2 years when my husband's job is over and build our own home, we will DEFINITELY have a security system but it will ABSOLUTELY NOT be Vivint.

    The sales person, informed me that the Vivint system would integrate with my current alarm system. And that the whole system would have a lifetime guarantee including the parts of my alarm system that was not installed by their company. The tech informed me that the system could not be integrated. I also wasn’t happy with the installment of the cameras. It was sloppy and the tech caused damage to the front brick facade of my house.

    The tech tried to have me sign the service agreement without me agreeing to it. I realized the price I was going to be charged wasn’t the price I agreed on with the sales person. I refused to sign the agreement. The next day I realized that the tech forged my signature on the electronic paperwork that I refuse to sign. I canceled the same day. I had them removed all the equipment. They still charged my Credit Card months after. I disputed it with my CC company. Then Vivint sent my information to a collection company for a bill over 5,000. Lucky I kept all my emails. Showing that I canceled it!!

    We have been using Vivint now for almost 2 years and have been unable to actually use the features for probably half that amount of time. When we moved, we were told we would have to pay someone to come and move the system as well as additional fees to change info to the acct. Over $200 just to move. 90% of the time at least half our cameras don’t work randomly. And almost all the time, playback feature doesn’t work. Every time we called customer service, it has never been less than three hours we have spent on the phone or chat. This is horribly inconvenient and very long.... especially with three toddlers. It shouldn’t take a minimum of 3 hours for them to tell us to unplug it and wait and plug it back in… And then they will send someone out for an additional fee. ?!?! I wish we never went with this company. Don’t get a contract with them. You’ll regret it.

    Your salesperson Nolan ** used deceptive tactics to get me to switch over to Vivint stating that Vivint would “Take care” of the remaining obligation to our contract with Brinks because Vivint is purchasing Brinks. This was obviously a lie which I fell for. We are locked into a contract with Brinks until April 2021. When I spoke with Brinks, they said that no such thing is happening and that we can either wait until our contract is over or pay $1111.20 to break the contract early. I messaged Nolan twice today at ** and asked if Vivint will defer payment or pay the buyout amount. I of course have gotten zero response from him.

    The thing is the product is good although outrageously expensive BUT because of the blatant lies told by your agent Nolan **, we are canceling as I cannot be locked into service with another provider in addition to Vivint. I went ahead and signed without reading reviews which was another huge mistake. Finding a good review of your organization proved to be extremely difficult and based on my short experience with this company, I cannot say I am shocked. And please be aware that I will be posting to any and every review board and social media outlet sharing my experience as this experience is absolutely unacceptable.

    A Vivint salesman came to my elderly parents' house and convinced them to give up our existing wifi password in order to complete his sales pitch!!!! This is totally unacceptable business practice. This is how you do business in a world where privacy violations is an ongoing issue. Our entire existing security system was needlessly compromised by this salesman. Everything in our home had to be reset causing a domino effect with regards to existing hardware that depends on our wifi. How is that you send a representative with no company support to avoid this debacle. Major oversight considering the salesman knew we had existing security...you guys get an big fat "F" for a rating..

    I look forward to starting service with Vivint as I now get equipment that satisfies more of the needs that my family needs. I’m happy to have continuous recording for 30 days, a video doorbell camera, being able to speak back to each camera, and even the fact that if the cameras spot someone lingering, it’ll whistle and capture their image. All things my old security company couldn’t do.

    The first thing that I am disappointed with is, the different prices that you are quoted on the phone vs online. The only reason why I was getting Vivint now was because of their current deal which when I saw it was Tuesday night after Cyber Monday. Their deal I saw on Instagram was a free doorbell camera and free installation. I took a screenshot and everything. Being that the deal was over, it was not honored. I instead only got 50% off. First bummer.

    I ended up wanting to change my order and ended up on their website and saw that I would’ve gotten a better deal online than I did over the phone. Second bummer. Also, if you are shopping around online, you should know that you are limited to the options and quantities you can choose. So you may need to call for assistance if you want something in specific or something added. All things you don’t know without speaking to someone first.

    So after noticing the price difference, I called again. The agent was helpful and worked with me, but was only able to help so much because of their system. I have an infant and a toddler that got fussy after a while, so I could only give so much attention after an almost hour long phone call. So after I got off the phone and attended to my kids, I started to look over the new offer confirmation and had a question so I emailed the agent. She was quick to respond. So that part was helpful!

    So fast forward to the day of the service. As far as the installation itself, the agent was very prompt and showed up right at the beginning of the window time frame. He was overall informative and communicative. Note: I was not able to physically be there myself so my brother was there, while I was on the phone. We did the property run through, and it got time to go over the order.

    Now, keep in mind...I was on the phone multiple times between the first call and even confirming my appointment the day before, speaking about multiple things including the entire package and pricing, adding and taking off certain products, however not once did any of the representatives even mention the window and door sensors that they offer which are $50/sensor. They also weren’t anywhere on the website. And I was on the website more than once playing with their packages so I would have noticed if it was an option, as I wanted to know what my entire package would have been. I wanted to know exactly what I was getting myself financially into.

    So after adding window and door sensors last minute, that in itself increased my bill by almost $1,000! I was already doing a complete system take over from my old service, but this huge price increase was completely unexpected. Luckily, we were already planning on financing due to the high cost of the overall order, but I couldn’t imagine going into this expecting to pay for the equipment upfront.

    Lastly, there was a second agent that showed up but just hung out in the living room while the main agent was installing everything. I still had access to my old security system, so that’s also how I kept up through video with what was going on as much as I could. I’m not exactly sure who he was or that he was doing besides being on the phone the times I checked. So I’m confused as to why the appointment took a total of 6 hours from the moment the agent arrived to when he left.

    Luckily my brother was able to work from home. I just feel bad though because we were expecting it to last 3-4 hours. I am aware I ordered a lot of equipment, but this is where it would be nice to know about the window and door sensors, not just because of the huge price increase, but also because I would rather know a realistic time frame for an appointment so we can plan around it. I’m so thankful my brother was able to be flexible, but for a 6 hour appointment, I would have rather rescheduled for a day that I could have been there myself.

    On a positive note, being that I did not have the manuals for my now old smart door locks, the agent ended up having to look online and was able to set them so that they would work with Vivint’s system. Note: I had called my old provider and asked about their equipment I had already paid for in full, and they said that the only thing I was maybe going to be able to reuse was the smart door locks. But just in case, I added one to the order, again, because I wanted to know what I was getting myself into. I wasn’t using the second door lock so much, so I was only planning to buy just one from Vivint. But it was nice for the agent to look that manual up online and install both. It is his job to do that, but I still appreciate he did that as he saved me some money on something that wasn’t necessary.

    In conclusion, as much as I am excited for the new equipment, I cannot give my experience to this point 5 stars. I hope that in the end, all of this was worth it and I look forward to the equipment and technology this company offers. I just write all of this to open eyes to future customers so that they know what to expect and can plan around it. As I know I would have liked to know myself.

    I wish I could give zero stars to this "home security" company. My family had Vivint for years because we were locked into a contract that obligated up to deal with subpar equipment that continuously failed. We lived through numerous technician visits that we were threatened we would be charged for if they found nothing wrong yet each time they found an issue with their own equipment and still years later still did not work properly. At one point I was locked out of my house after taking out the trash and was told by VIVINT to call a locksmith or wait 2 days for a technician to come out and check the issue!

    We were promised numerous credits to our account by numerous customer service reps to make up for chronic equipment malfunction and somehow they lost record of any such promise when our bill came in each month. Needless to say this was a continuous circle of promises of crediting our account and not one credit showing up on our bill. We are horrified at how much we have had to pay to these crooks because they had us locked into a contract that they were failing again and again to fulfill on their end but would willingly take money from our end! You will notice on their social medial that they filter out thousands of comments because they want to block out honest real customers with issues instead of addressing and fixing them! - Sincerely your VERY unsatisfied customer of 5 YEARS!

    So we needed a security system for our house, to where we could have recordings and someone to call in case something happened. So here comes Vivint. Everything sounds great, I tell the salesperson I may need to move, so is there ways to back out of the contract? Sales guy literally shows me where the contract comes null and void if we are forced to move. Well things go bad for us. I Lose my job. My wife gets stalked and attacked. Call giving, video cameras dont catch anything. Things happened right in front of them. The cameras recorded everything else but those moments!?!

    So we had to move in with my wife's dad, embarrassing but it happens. So we had paid for a couple of years and like the contract said, we could opt out if we have the service for a certain time, we call and let vivint know. I don't know how, but dude changed the contract. It wasnt on paper. It was digital. The sales guy is like "yeah, you can opt out, pay 2000 dollars." I was speechless. I ask the sales guy if he understands that we can't use the hardware. He says "how about we get you in a new contract then!". At this point in really really mad. I could not believe this. Fast forward two years. We are still paying for that service. We dont even own a home. We have been almost destitute but I managed to pay for this BS system, because will report it to the credit bureau. Everyone reading this, dont use Vivint. It's not worth it! It's a scam and really really bad to people!

    The install was awesome. The tech and tech in training were very helpful and informative. They were also very understanding of my needs. Now on the other hand Nolan the sales rep needs more training on the equipment and sales. His first sales pitch was that the doorbell and new panel would be FREE multiple times. Come to find out I have a $16 month charge for the equipment.

    Then on top of that promised that there is no contract and would not have to pay any equipment charges if I cancel my services with your company, which I have very high doubts for that to be true also! He told me that all my current equipment will work and if my sensor didn’t work or were out of date everything would be replaced for free. He also stated that the CO monitor would be hard wired in, which then the tech told me it was all battery operated. Then when the tech was doing install I was informed that my camera would not work with the system. Nolan then said he would waive the charge for a new indoor camera and fees. That didn’t look like it happened since my bill is almost $60, and 2 sensors needed to be replaced which would be an additional charge.

    So to wrap it up I’m paying for equipment I was told was free to switch over and my sensors weren’t fixed for free like he said they would be. I had to contact Nolan 4 times after he left about issues I was told would be covered if I was to switch from Brinks to your company. I really hope the rest of my time with this company isn’t like the first day....

    I used Vivint Home Security for about 18 months and then moved out of the home where I had the system installed. In that 18 months, my system had glitches at least once a week or more where one or both cameras wouldn't work, my home monitor would disconnect itself from the Internet, on and on, and for no apparent reason. I also found out that when they do a system upgrade, Vivint doesn't tell you about it... Your security system will just stop working. So then you have to contact them and they upgrade it at that time. Also, you are not renting the equipment, you are buying it so in that 18 months I paid 77.00 per month for security and the equipment... You think that's high? Most security systems are 15-25.00 per month.

    Well, it gets more interesting... After 18 months I called to cancel my service and was told I still owed 800.00 to buy out the equipment. They would not cancel my account and until I paid off that 800.00 would still keep charging me for monthly service, even though they uninstalled the equipment and I wasn't using their home security services anymore. When I told them I would like to return the equipment to them, I didn't need it where I was moving, they wouldn't budge... I HAD TO BUY IT!!!!

    I had an appointment for a technician to come to my home between 4pm and 8pm. At 530pm I get a knock on my door. In my doorway stands a man in his mid to late 20's in a winter coat, and cargo pants. He says he is from Vivint. I ask for some sort of ID because I see that he arrived in his personal vehicle. He explains that he does not have an ID and that not everyone drives a company vehicle. I then use the chat feature to report this incident. They are zero help. I then call the 800 number and the woman explains that she will file a report. In the meantime, the technician magically produces an ID card after going back out to his vehicle. This level of unprofessionalism is absurd.

    I have talked to Vivint reps 3 times in the last 6 weeks about my thermostat. I have spent 1 hour each time on the phone about the issues I have had. Last night I had my target temp set at 66 degrees and the heater ran until it was 73 degrees in the house, This was 7 degrees over the target temp costing me money. The tech acted like he was reading off a script and kept telling me the thermostat was working correctly. I finally was connected to a supervisor who told me the thermostat was working correctly also. I tried in vain to tell them this was not right as there is no way the heater should until it is 7 degrees over the target temp. They finally decided to send me a new thermostat. I will try this and see if it works. I was upset at the way they tried to tell me that I didn't know what I was talking about. I am 70 years old and I think I know how to work a thermostat. I would be very reluctant to buy this equipment and sign up with them.

    I would do your research into this company before using them, they tell you one thing and do another just to get you signed up. I was suppose to have my system installed on Sunday but they canceled on me because the installer never showed up to work. When we rescheduled they tried to set it up for Monday 12/2, I could not take off so we rescheduled for Tuesday 12/3 between the hours 10-12, when I called to see if I could get an earlier time they said my install was pushed back till 12/10. So you are telling me that I am getting punished for your installed canceling on me. I am about to spend over 1600 dollars on equipment and over 50 dollars a month for this service and this is how they treat their Customers, NO THANKS!!!! INSTALL WAS CANCELED!!!

    I'll keep this short. 1. Their customer service is horrible, I had two problems two different times with them and post service and got nowhere. I then went to corporate both times and they stepped in and fixed the problem, I ended up also getting some free service for a while. 2. I’ve had the system for a year and a half now, maybe a tad more and in our system we have two Glance control panels along with the main Sky Control panel. They aren't cheap. I dropped and broke the screen on one changing the battery on it and when I called Vivint to get a replacement they told me they don't make it anymore and have none in stock.

    Remember we've had the system a short time. They sent me a cheap number pad for a replacement (free) and I had to pay the shipping. I had to buy a used one on eBay and swap the guts out from my old one to replace it, but it worked. 3. Now that I’ve seen other systems, in my opinion they are way overpriced. 4. I do have to say though, their equipment is really good as far as bells and whistles and such but the hassles I’ve had especially with the customer service department makes me really regret doing business with them.

    I signed the agreement several years ago, The equipment didn't work properly from the beginning. The garage door openers malfunction every 60 days. The installers probably didn't install them right from the beginning. Getting service was almost impossible. After 2/3 of the contract was up and I still had constant issues and they new how dissatisfied I was they wouldn't even consider ending the contract early. Even today when I paid out the last few months "just to move on" they took my money without as much as a simple "I am sorry!" Do yourself a favor... Pick a different company!

    After getting approved and a "pass" to finance the equipment via the rep Brennen ** we waited for the technician Jason to arrive to install. After everything was installed the tech was having trouble completing the install because financial was saying I was no longer approved. So we sat on the phone for about 45 minutes with the rep, tech and someone at financial and nothing could get resolved as to why it was cleared initially then changed to not approved. In any case, while a long frustrating evening-both the tech Jason and rep Brennen did everything in their power to remedy this for me and it finally got worked out today thanks to them.

    A few weeks ago, a couple of sales agents talked to me into getting the Vivint Security Systems. They offered me a 14 day free trial. I initially rejected the offer because I just moved into a new place and I didn't want to incur additional costs. They kept on insisting and I fell for it. I thought I had a good deal at first but I kept on shopping around to compare other options. After comparing to other products like Ring, I realized that the Vivint's equipments were overpriced along with their monitoring service. I called them twice to cancel and they told me that I needed to fill out a cancellation notice that they failed to send.

    The day that they were supposed to come pick up their equipments, they told me that the work order was canceled because they never received it from me. I insisted to have them come pick up their equipments and they did. After they removed their video doorbell, my doorbell ring stopped working. I called them to ask that they fix the doorbell ring because it was working prior to their installation and they refused to do so. I ended up submitting a claim against Vivint with the BBB and I am waiting to hear back. In summary, don't fall for the free trial. It's not worth it because there are cheaper options out there plus they won't fix any damage after they pick up their equipments.

    We have had issues with our service for over two years now. Unfortunately we are in a contract for 5 years and with every passing year I cannot wait until the contract ends. Our doorbell and monitoring has worked roughly 10% of the time in 2.5 years of service. The last time my husband called to rectify the issue, it took nearly three hours of his day on the phone. So we aren't jumping at the next opportunity to call because we simply don't have time that allows to constantly fix our doorbell. However, we ended up calling four days ago to try to resolve the doorbell issue and they scheduled us an appointment (they should have done this the last time too) for today, rearranged our work schedules to be present only to have our appointment canceled.

    We pay $100+ per month for equipment and monitoring that simply has not worked. It is not worth any more of my pennies to take the time on this. IF I was not contracted, I would cancel immediately. We are low priority because we are contracted. They don't value time or consumer expense and I would NOT recommend there monitoring service and customer service is terrible. JUST RUN!

    I had multiply issues from the beginning and continue to have issues. 1. Wrong Address for billing. Had 3 calls in to get that fix and sit on the phone for 20 mins each time. 2. They will ask for a credit card and wasn’t told that was the card they use for taking monthly bill out. I was told it was to just check to see if I had credit. 3. I bought the best product they have with the best thermostat and have had nothing but issues with eco mode. 4. The new update (2019) on app is horrible. Mine will not upload the video and I have the fastest you can get internet and use my phone iPhone 8 Plus on Verizon. Which caused major issue this week as I had people in my backyard and could not see them live because it would not load. Had to call the police it was a mess.

    5. Now I am dealing with a billing issue. I updated my card online because credit cards expire and when I did that it through my account into a big mess getting locked out of my account. I’ve called this company many times and spend many hours on the phone and don’t bother to use chat online. 6. I was over charged for my install. Then never was told that the next month I would have to pay the sales tax on equipment. I have now issue paying for my bills. Just want companies to be honest. I feel like I have have trapped by this company. As far as the install those guys did amazing and I would give the equipment a 3.5 over all. If I had to do it over again I wouldn’t waste my money. Only been a customer 6 months.

    A door to door sales representative for Vivint came to our house offering the company's services. After the sales pitch, the sales representative offer to pay our current contract with Brinks if we switched to Vivint at the moment. He had us call Brinks to ask how much we needed to pay if we cancelled our contract. In order to cancel our contract with Brinks we had to pay close to $1,700 but the sales representative suggested he could pay the full amount to cancel with Brinks if we had other properties where we could contract Vivint services.

    We told him we did have 2 business where we could use security cameras, after some more negotiating, we agreed with Vivint's representative to have our Brinks account cancellation payment paid in full in exchange for 3 accounts (our home and 2 business). Installation in our 3 addresses were completed after many inconveniences such as the installation guys staying out place of business after midnight and me received calls and text messages around 1:00 a.m. in the morning.

    Two weeks after not receiving the money to pay for the cancellation of our contract with Brinks and after several calls and text messages with no response by the sales representative, I decided to leave him a message telling him I was going to contact Vivint directly to let them know of the issues we were having. On the same day I called Vivint and told them all the issues we have had with their representative and we were told to send the letter we received from Brinks about the cancellation amount due.

    After they reviewed the cancellation letter from Brinks, a Brinks representative contacted me to let me know that unfortunately they could not honor the offers offered to us by their door to door representative. Since it was past the 3 day deadline to cancel, they only offer to cancel the account in our house but that there was nothing they could do to cancel the contract for our 2 business locations. Right now we are stuck with a company that not only offers expensive and lousy service but those not honorable because they do not stand by their representative's word.

    I have given this company repeated chances to impress me however after being stuck with this worthless equipment I'm more dissatisfied now than before. We recently moved from the suburbs to the city and definitely needed these cameras to work. I called the company and was told that there is no way that either event can be retrieved. Do buy this system. The DVR feature is bs.

    I’m blown away by the discrepancies between the sales team and installation technician. The sales team claimed that the cameras being installed were wireless with a 3 year battery life. This is a blatantly inaccurate statement. The cameras are in fact wired and have no backup battery in the event of a power loss. I was quoted $80 with tax but I am being billed $93. After dealing with the misinformation the customer service agent offered a discount which he claimed would bring down my monthly bill to $80. An hour later he argued he never said so even though he was on speaker phone and the technician was my witness.

    I recommended we collectively listen to the recorded phone call to which he admit he would be reprimanded for and that I would still not receive a lower monthly bill. I have never been more appalled by how deceitful a sales team has been. I felt bad for the technician who was just following orders and clearly was not surprised by the misinformation communicated by the sales team.

    Bait and switch, poor customer service. Vivint is dishonest with their sales pitch, does not stand behind their work or equipment, and could care less about the people they sell their products to. I plan on leaving this review on several websites with security reviews, their Facebook page, and the Facebook page for our neighborhood and surrounding area.

    I called Vivint Home Security on their sales line to see what kind of investment I would be looking at and what monitoring services with contract was required. The sales gal was eager to help and very friendly. I mentioned that we had been with Vivint previously and still had the entire old system still in place but that it had a lot of issues. We went over the issues that we had with the old system and she told me that Vivint lifetime warranties all of the equipment so anything that did not work properly or had become obsolete to the new system would be changed out no cost, awesome! To make things even better she told me that once the system was paid for it would be about $56 a month for monitoring, no contract required, which was great as I planned on paying for the system outright. We went over new system panel and I added a few new options to the list. Total came to just over $1500 and we scheduled it out for install.

    The technician arrived as scheduled and that when things started to fall apart. I told him about the issues the old system had and that I was happy to be getting these things resolved along with the new items. He shook his head and said that he was not told about fixing anything and that we needed to call into the office. Person #1 I explained the conversation that I had with the sales gal to the customer service person and was put on hold. She came back and stated that they could not take care of the old system issues and that I would have to pay additional for that. Also, I was finding out now that the monitoring was now tied to a contract. She tried sending me back to another salesperson to rework the deal; I wanted the deal we originally had, so I asked for a manager. She was not happy but did transfer me.

    Person #2 was supposedly a manger but announced herself as a customer specialist. I again explained the conversation that I had with the sales gal. She then put me on hold. Once she came back she told me that they couldn’t repair the issues because I had cancelled my previous contract and once cancelled all warrantees were void. I found this very ironic as the reason that I cancelled originally is because they would not help me fix the issues last time, and why would I have continued paying an outrageous monthly charge for something that did not work correctly. She offered me a discount on the replacement items and I said no, I wanted what we had originally agreed to. I asked for her manager to which her reply was that they were all in a meeting. I called bull crap, as it was Wednesday at 6:30 PM and not likely. After being on hold again she finally transferred me.

    Person #3 came on the phone and was irritated that I interrupted the meeting she was in. I again had to explain everything that had happened. She offered me another discount that would have brought my total out of pocket to just over $2200 and I said no. If that would have been the original deal I would not have had an issue with it, but to change everything after the fact and then bait and switch me while the installer was sitting in my house I was not having it. If you like getting screwed on the sales / install, not having them not back up the equipment they sell, then get hosed again with a contract for monitoring which is twice what others are charging then these are your guys. Why would anyone want to do business with a company like this?

    Big promises to make a sale, little actually delivered! Some of the equipment has never worked (motion detector and door sensor) and the panel was replaced. Their contract to pay out equipment interest free also locks you in that many months for monitoring but they don't tell you that! Total scam! I'm calling the attorney general and FTC. Very easily could become a class action. They don't care. Too many newcomers fooled and signing up!

    The salesman told us we were getting more stuff to the system that later we were informed that did not come with it. You had to pay a lot more to get that and the stuff that did come with the system never got put in. We only got maybe 75% of the system installed and the equipment stopped working but they continued to charge a high monitoring fee even when the system was not even working at all. And now five months later the system is still not working but they are still trying to back charge for the high monthly monitoring fee and the system has not worked. But I did finance the equipment which was $1500. I am still paying on that part. Obviously I am committed to that but the service is very poor. I made a huge mistake buying the system. They won’t even look at the system to see what is wrong. All they want is the money for the monitoring fees on a system that has not worked in over five months.
