Chris installed our home security system. He was friendly knowledgeable and efficient. The original installer called in sick but Chris made sure our system was installed as scheduled. He believes in the product and answered all our questions. System works very well and we are happy for the change.

I was very pleased with my sales person. He walked me through everything, explained everything to me until I felt comfortable with all of his answers. The ability to integrate many different components, not just Vivint peripherals is what sold me on the product. So I don't have to go buy new door lock or light controllers or thermostat. Excited to test my system out.

The Rep was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything very well and was patient. A great experience. The job was completed ahead of estimated time. Communicated everything he was doing and asked before he installed equipment about my preferred location. I am very pleased with the job.

The representative that came out was knowledgeable and patient with me and my family. He made sure we all knew how to use the gadgets and how to put them in our phone. He made sure that he cleaned up after himself and he also stayed 6 feet away and also had his PPE equipment on.

My agreement says that I do not have to pay any value for installation and I have just been charged $ 186.24. It is the second time it happens to me, in September the same thing happened and the value was $ 138.00 and I NEVER received the money back and now they do it again. When one does not authorize a value to pay, it is called THEFT.

Armando. He was very professional and informative. His patience and thorough knowledge of Vivint services were awesome. He walked me through all of the documents needed to be reviewed and signed. He held on while I had to take another call.

Louis. He installed everything fine, just didn’t leave a sign I could put in front to let people know we have security. He was fast, cleaned his mess and explained everything to us when he was done. We will definitely recommend to a friend.

Representative did a great job setting me up to take over an existing system via a phone conversation. Within minutes the system was up and running and I could navigate the basic functions of the system. Now I need to download and register the app so that I can utilize the features via my phone.

Opted for setup over the phone. Service tech reached out to me before hand to get a head start on the process. I only had a 30min window during a very busy day to walk through setup. Tech got me set up quickly and answered all my question as well.

Very professional and informative! He was nice, quick and careful. He didn’t rush with the install and he made sure I understood the service I was getting, the equipment and how to use it and also understand all paperwork signed.

I had the pleasure of working with Pati ** while signing up for the system over the phone on Friday. Pati was very knowledgeable about the system and could readily answer any questions that I had. As an added bonus, Pati's bubbly personality just exuded itself over the phone. It was truly a pleasure working with her.

The installers were great. They were knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They explained how to use the key pad. Installation was fast. The equipment is great. The thermostats are work wonderfully. I would recommend Vivint to everyone I know.

They didn't finish installation, brought the wrong service company, lied about a soft credit check and when you call or text they don't answer. Plus not only was it a hard inquiry it's under a $2000 dollar credit card that's maxed out when I told them I'd rather pay for ADT upfront, so why would they not send them?

Brandon was great. He was very informative and detailed. I really appreciate he took his time to explain the system to me and kept conversation flowing. He is a great asset to the team. With the pandemic going on he made sure to take the necessary measures to make sure that we were protected.

Nathan was professional and knowledgeable, he answered all my questions, helped me through the process of setting up various accounts. He explained so my options which led me to add additional features. I feel more secure now being home and protected.

So far everything is awesome! Started off with an early arrival, explain everything about the setup and how to operate the equipment. I would most definitely recommend to friends and family. Looking forward to the setup of my outdoor camera for the garage!

Great sales rep and technician. They were very courteous and professional. The rep provided both videos and demonstration to help with products understanding. Didn't try to upsell and provided only what was requested. The installation was done fast and accurate. Will recommend to others in the future.

A salesman by the name of Chase ** came to my home unannounced to sell me a Vivint system. Because I am a nice person, I reluctantly let him give me his pitch. He was very appropriate and nice and answered all of my questions. One of the first questions I asked was if I would have to be in a contract and he replied with “No, you can cancel at any time without penalty”. So I gave the system a chance. He had an iPad of some sort that I had to sign a few things on but rather than read it, I stupidly let the sales rep summarize to me what I was signing. After 9 months I decided to call and cancel. Turns out I am in a 5 year contract! FIVE YEARS!!! If I want to cancel I have to pay for the equipment and 50% of the monitoring for the remainder of the contract. They refuse to work with me despite the fact that their sales rep lied to me repeatedly. Terrible company with no values. Beware and sign up with a different company!

The sales team was very accommodating with our time schedules. Installation was smooth and without problems. Davis was gracious enough to ensure placement of control panel was everything we wanted. Davis also took the time to make sure we were comfortable not only with the control panel but as well with the application. Everything went smooth and are happy with the system.

The install went very smooth. Suggestions from the technician was accurate. I was very pleased and technician was friendly. The payment plan and process was explained in detailed. It took about 1/2 hour to go over the options that you chose. Therefore, installing took approximately 3 1/2 hrs.

Nick did my installation and he was very friendly and helpful. With all of this coronavirus stuff going on I want to mention that he was very safe and informed me that he had not been exposed to anyone with it, had taken his temperature before arriving, wore a mask, and kept a safe distance. I’ll recommend Vivint to my friends and neighbors. I’m very pleased with everything.

Technician, Justin, was awesome. He came by already running behind schedule but was very patient and willing to explain everything. He was supposed to do panel activation but ended up doing full install of new equipment in the exact places I asked him to. He ended up leaving after 11pm but he completed everything I needed. I was a little unsure of how the process would be but after talking with the electrician and seeing how he was working, I found that it was more simple than I thought. Austin did his thing and told me issues about the home’s electrical system that I didn’t even know. Good guy, knew what he was doing and would recommend his work again.

I got the doorbell camera. I wanted one indoor camera and he installed equipment I already had. It took longer than I planned but installer was professional except for the drywall left on floor after putting hole in my wall. I was disappointed that Vivint wasn’t recommended by the BBB. Also paid more money down than I expected. I wish I could give more stars but this is Day #1.

Hi, I’m just letting you know I had a great experience talking with rep Sid while trying to get my service setup with Vivint. He was very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable of what he is doing. He made the process easy and stress free and I really appreciate him for that! Yes I will recommend friends.

The original appointment on the phone was made for Saturday, 4/11. No one showed up and there was no text message or telephone call. We waited all day. I called Monday morning and asked about the Saturday appointment. The lady I spoke to said we weren’t on the schedule and it must’ve been lost somewhere. Was not too happy. I hope the original telephone conversation was taped so you will know that we did have A Saturday morning appointment. Abel, our installer, was very polite, He knew exactly what to do. He explained everything thoroughly. We really appreciate him wearing gloves and a mask.

Technician knew his product but waited for me to ask questions. Wished he would of took me around to show me where sensors were. Once I asked he did but I was curious about how it worked. Overall very nice, professional, neat and clean. I would rate it a 5 star install. Thank you Aaron.

Our Vivint tech, Tim, did a great job setting up our system and going over all the security features. The system seems to be user friendly. We would highly recommend a Vivint security system to our family and friends and definitely Tim, as the installer as he is very knowledgeable and explains the operation of the system. Prices are fair. Tech knew what he was doing and was very informative! Like all of the polices of Vivint. I felt like vivint was the best company after talking to several other companies on the phone. Friends of ours use vivint. They are very satisfied.

With Covid 19 going on, I was surprised to have to use installers phone to answer questions. I would have held off installation till the stay home order was lifted. It was hard to keep a six foot distance. Installer did use hand sanitizer and was nice.

I’ve had Vivint in all three of our homes. The technicians are great. The cameras and weather monitoring give us absolute peace of mind. Worth every penny. I highly recommend Vivint to anyone looking for a great alarm system and company.

Installer was great but what was not disclosed was the $15 cloud fee per camera per month. When I got my package sold to me that literally added $45 a month out of what I was budgeted for. WOW you guys could do better then that I was told it was $5 per camera a month for the fee!!!

James was great explaining the system and the equipment, he was able to demonstrate the knowledge of the service. I was able to understand how the system works, how to install and the customer service was great, he was very helpful with everything I was asking him for.

Installation help From the tech folks went very smoothly and they helped me understand exactly what I needed to do. The system is up and running and doesn't seem to have any glitches as of now. I am anxious to get the cameras operational. Seems like a really good and sound system that should protect my family for a long time.

The way the system was installed was very unprofessional. The tech did a crappy job. It has to be rescheduled and then the tech had to leave because he forgot parts then he was on his phone most of his installation.

Would highly recommend. Everything works well, the install tech was very thorough and helpful, and I love being able to unlock the front door from my phone when I'm at the other end of the house. I'm glad we had it installed at the beginning of the move process- it's made allowing access for service techs, movers, etc. so convenient.

Alarm. Josh the installer was very knowledgeable and was very helpful with the system. Real pleased with the service so far. During the installation he went over every item and placement. We reviewed it together on the monitor. After completing the installation Josh was very knowledgeable about the monitoring system as well as the app. It was very helpful with him.

I was looking for home security and calling around to get quotes. After talking to representative decided to go with Vivint. Their prices were competitive with other companies but their customer service was excellent. They did same day installation. Technician was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and did clean and fast installation.

Bruce was very thorough, informative, and most of all patient in instructing us on the Vivint system. Bruce also checked every one of the many sensors in our large home making us feel confident with the extremely complex system. We are happy to be Vivint customers.

I should have been charged only $54 for service. I own and purchased all equipment years ago. All equipment was up and working was already in place and no new equipment was installed. I was charged $54 when I signed up and $823.75 when technician came to get system running again! BIG MAD! This mistake is really going to mess up a lot of my banking transactions.

Install Technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. Although the alarm system was just installed today it seems very easy to use and has a lot of neat features. You can link it with Alexa and add extra features like telling Alexa to arm your system.

Dave it was very accurate on everything he Did. He walked me through everything every step of the way. Checked everything. Cleaned up after himself. A very polite. Checked my phones. Make sure my apps or everything was running again. He was a great guy. You need more people like that.

Installation. The tech was extremely professional. I received courtesy call the night before and also the morning of...I had a lot going on at the house when he arrived. He walked through step by step process and was very detailed. Would absolutely recommend to others looking for Security.

The whole process from my initial call with the sales associate to the install was a breeze. The system is very user friendly and really like being able to control everything through the app on my smart devices. My home is now safe and am able to save money easily by controlling my thermostat to heat/cool at my discretion. I no longer have to live on a schedule. Very happy with my investment into this system.

This is my second time having a system installed. Just like the previous time, the installation tech was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. However, there is a clear lack of communication between the internal teams at Vivint. If it wasn't for the tech I would have went with a different company this time around.

Mason came out and installed the equipment in our home. He was very courteous and professional. He installed all equipment and he walked us through the entire setup. The only issue was I didn’t get the extra cameras installed. It was a mixup and it wasn’t on his work order. I was a little disappointed, but I’m not holding Mason responsible. He did his part and for that I give him 4 stars.

Just had my home security system installed. It was quick and easy and seems to work well! I look forward to feeling safe in my own home! They also helped with smoke alarms and CO2 alarms which I didn't even realize they did. I am very thankful for that!

Mike from Vivint was very thorough and pleasant. He explained everything well. All cameras and sensors were installed properly. He tested the system several times. He explained what is considered "false alarms". He also showed us how to arm and disarm the alarm; and what to do in the event that someone forces their way in right behind us and demands we disarm the alarm, how we can alert the police, while quelling any suspicion.

Everything was amazing! From the beginning Anthony was very thorough, he explains everything well! The cameras and the wirings were well put, and has a clean finish. When he left we felt very confident that we're able to navigate the system. We will definitely recommend Vivint to everyone I know in the future!!

$25.00 dollars was taken from my debit card without my permission on April 4-2020. I was very upset about that transaction. I request that the $25.00 be put back on my card. I do not want any more transaction made from that card.

From my first phone call to inquire about alarms, to the installation, my experience so far has been terrific. The ease of the app is amazing! I did call almost every single alarm company in my area and really did my homework before I decided on Vivint.

Great customer service, tech explained everything very well and did not leave until we were comfortable working our system. Installation took less than expected. He was very clean and organized, did not leave a mess and walked us step by step of what he was going to install and how.
