Very professional installer. He was very informative about how to use all the equipment. His name was Nate. He did a fabulous job installing the equipment. Very polite young man. Was very good at his job. Made me understand everything he told me.

Zach was pleasant, knowledgeable, good and patient when teaching how to use the system, and thorough. He was very competent and efficient during the installation. I would recommend using him to do the installation if referring to a friend. We feel much more secure now.

The tech was on time and cleaned up after the install. It was really a great service overall. I love how clean this system looks and how easy it is to coordinate the devices with Alexa. The system looks very modern and technology is easy to use.

Home Security. Loved the service. It was easy to get a quote and set up an installation time and date. The representative was very friendly communicative and professional. The technician Chris ** that came out for my service was great! He was professional, friendly and very informative/knowledgeable about the system. He showed me step by step on how to use the system. On top of that, I was impressed with how conscious he was with peoples feelings regarding covid19. He hand sanitized and asked me I wanted him to take off his shoes. He said he smelled that I just bleached the house and didn’t know how I felt about wearing shoes in the house. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely recommend this to my friends!

Technician was early which is rare in this line of business. 5 stars for service, friendliness, and knowledge. System is easy to use and has great features that blows away competition. Installation was quick and hassle free. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

The technician was very kind, diligent, and made sure I understood the system. He walked me through the whole process. He took me through each step on the system and because my bay windows open from the inside he helped me understand why the sensor would not work on that window. So he placed a sensor on my kitchen window.

Told I get a 2 week free trial, but the day cameras got installed my card got hit for 3 charges totaling $142. That's not a free trial! Also hit my credit with a hard inquiry, because they call it a loan, instead of calling it a monitoring fee.

I was told about Vivint by a police officer that has their system in his home. The whole process was smooth and everyone was knowledgeable, super nice and professional. I called to gain more information about the security system and a quote on Saturday with my installation completed the following Wednesday. Overall great experience and would recommend to family and friends.

The technician called thirty minutes in advance and I appreciated that. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He ran into a snag installing the doorbell camera but was able to work the situation without taking a lot of time. Appreciated that. Nice young man.

Met with sales rep Carl on Thursday since my friend got the services installed in her home. My technician came and installed the very next day. Works as promised, hassle free and quick! John, my tech, was super fast and explained everything in detail. He made it work despite the weird setup in my home. I live in a rural area with limited bandwidth and asked during Vivint installation if the cameras (3) were going to cause any disruptions on wifi. I was told no. My spouse is currently deployed and I travel for work, so we were not home to test the system. When I did arrive home just over their 30 day downgrade policy, I noticed I was unable to get on my wifi. I called my internet provider and took their first available appointment. They came out,tested the system and said the cameras were the issue.
I called Vivint to request the downgrade. I wanted to remove the cameras but keep the doorbell and security. They were unwilling to work with me and let me know my options were to hardwire my laptops to my router (so run cords across my house) or pay 3,000.00 to cancel my cameras. This is the literal worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not get trapped my them. They don't care about hardships, whether or not you are able to work with your equipment or the military. I am beyond disheartened. I just wanted a little safety with my husband overseas.

So far, very happy with the system. Installers did a great job. They made sure we were completely satisfied and has no concerns or questions. They helped us set-up smartphones, answering all of our questions. Couldn't have sent us, two better installers. They're so polite and walked us through. Everyone was very nice and very informative. I felt like I knew what to do when installer left. Love new fixtures. Going to set at night and turn off in morning will be a very appreciated feature. Also now have breaking glass feature added.

It was a difficult process every step of the way. Not one step in the process was done smoothly and it took several hours and several different operators to finally get something accomplished. Had I not been bound by contract the frustration I experienced today would have cause me to cancel your services.

I would definitely recommend Vivint for the best alarm service. Easy to use and the sales representative was extremely pleasant to talk to and the technician is awesome. Glad I choose Vivint. Very professional, very informative. They came in and had assessed what my family's individual needs were. Put a package together around those needs and didnt try and force products that weren't needed. They had a team come that same day to do the install and that team was super professional as well.

I was promised an easy cancellation if I was not happy with service if before my 30 day trial. I tried canceling after only my 2nd day of service and have literally spent 10 hours today trying to cancel. They try to make it impossible to cancel and every time they say my service is cancelled, I call back to make sure and they say there is no record of my cancellation! This company is full of liars and has the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. Now I have to take them to court! Stay away!

The representative (Angel) presented himself at our door in a polite, professional manner and succinctly discussed the parameters of the Vivint Smart Home security system. Once we selected the desired options, the installers arrived in minutes and began to integrate the system into our home and devices. This was yesterday afternoon and the install is not completed but our expectations are through the roof.

Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. We had our system installed last night and it was fine until this morning. Camera wasn’t working. Husband contacted an agent and it was bad. Agent was rude and said it was our fault and we need to fix it and that in order for them to fix it they need to put another hole in our wall. Husband was upset and said if customer service is like this then we don’t need to use their products.

The system is great, love it so far. Installers were supposed to arrive between 10-12, they showed up close to 1. Installation was estimated to take no longer than an hour and a half, but they were there for 4-5 hours and were not able to complete installation - will be coming back in the future.

The sales rep was so helpful but I really didn't like having to be pressured to have to wait on a tech and the sales guy sitting with me. I would have liked to have scheduled the install and had to cancel at the last minute a birthday party. And the next thing is my front door won't close now.

I had been considering changing security company’s for awhile. I had heard of Vivint last year but I still had 2 years on my contract. This year the opportunity came and I took it. Vivint had a similar price but more coverage. Vivint included a camera outside and a doorbell camera. They bought out my contract with my old company. Everything was installed the same day. The system is simple to operate. So far I’m very pleased with everything.

I changed my security system today to Vivint. The experience I received from the salesperson to the installer was excellent. They took out the old and put in the new in a timely fashion. They both answered all my questions and showed me how to operate the system along with accessing the app that is on my phone. I will soon find out how much more I have in security when I'm away.

I just had my Vivint system installed and my installer Ray was awesome!! When you have somebody coming into your home that you don’t know it can be disconcerting, but Ray was awesome! He was very friendly and approachable. He was helpful and answered all of my questions, and gave me clear answers and instructions to be sure that I understood how it worked. Mike **, Vivint installer, was excellent. Offered very helpful recommendations of security devices/accessories tailored to our homes needs. Was very professional, timely and courteous. Exceeded expectations. Only complaint was told originally by salesperson via phone call that system worked better w/ Google Home Assistant which it currently does not. I order on Friday, they call me Monday. Wanted me to sign some papers. Call me again on Tuesday to sign papers that I signed on Friday and Monday. They told me on Friday that my order was shipped out but they didn't ship it until Tuesday. I still haven't received my orders.

He was incredible! Gave us all the info we needed to make the best decisions for our house! We choose Vivint when the sales rep seemed knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Placing an order on Feb 25, and almost 2 weeks later Vivint is still telling us they can not offer an installation date. This is due to our area being listed as a relocation area, so for us to receive installation services we will have to wait for another person to choose service with Vivint. It is unreasonable to tell a customer they may possibly have to wait months for installation because they will not provide service to that single customer.
We unfortunately, suffered a theft from our home during the time we were waiting for installation. Now we are having to work with the police department to try and recover stolen items and credit card companies because extravagant fraudulent charges where made on the credit cards. We are being told we will most likely our items are not recoverable. I can not express my level of disappointment that had I originally chosen an alternative company our security system we would have had a security system installed. It could have protected us from this horrible situation or aided the police in the identification of the criminal and with the recovery of our items. I will not recommend Vivint to anyone in my area and I will also share the lack of concern Vivint showed after being informed of the situation.

Vivint is absolutely the worst company you'll ever deal with. I have constant issues with the system and they can't see it on their end so they only will send someone if I give them more money. I hate Vivint. The system loses connection all the time, glitches, and their service department doesn't care.

Reinstated service with Vivint today. Tech Josh was fantastic; on time, knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. The panel had to be replaced and he spent the necessary time to help us update the Vivint app to be able to access the system remotely. Installer was fast & precise, but no cleanup. Angel was a good sell, because I am a HARD sell! Equipment is very user friendly, but thermostat is confusing. It leaves a sense of security knowing that I can check on my Home whenever neccessary. The fact that it can be used by all of my Family members that have mobile devices is a plus, because now my children can open & close the garage for access with waiting on their NaNa.

I want to let you know how much we appreciate the help you have offered us by having Mr. ** put in our security system so efficiently. After he arrived I realized I had needed more camera coverage. He complied with everything we asked for. He also explained how all of the installed components worked. We are very happy with the door camera and how clear the picture is even some of it is seen through screen on the side of the front door.
For 14 months people have broken into our house, destroyed our property, and ruined food. They also poisoned one of my kittens. Thank you for the panic button for my 85 year old Mother. The other company told me they didn’t have any. I appreciate how Bruce showed her she could also wear it as a watch. Bruce listened to my concerns and made adjustments so we received the best coverage for the motion detectors and the cameras. Hopefully this will be sufficient. He told us to call if we needed anything or had questions.

The installer was great. Explain everything on how the system works. Took the time to review the existing system from the previous owner to make sure everything work. Added the doorbell to our package and even gave us a new solar security sign.

I was struggling with a bag of soul at Sam's club when a young man came running over to help me. He asked if he could show me the smart home system. I was not in a hurry so I gave him my ear. Long story short I booked an appointment for the next day and now because of the other really nice young man that arrived at my house I have a smart home and med alert for my husband. Great job!

Bought a house with Vivint system already installed. Javier came out to activate the system, provided top of the line service and communication. Answered all questions my wife and I had and made us feel very comfortable with the system.

I was told that the takeover kit would include all my previous equipment including sensors Carbon Monoxide detector and fire alarms. But once I had the system installed was told the detectors were not included and were $100 each. I called to ask for a discount on the fees and was given a discount on the smoke detectors, buy 1 get 1 free. I have several smoke detectors and could only purchase 1 smoke detector with an additional fee and 1 carbon monoxide detector. I then was thrown into a fresh hell of not knowing what my monthly fee would be with the added equipment. I had called twice and the technician had to call twice and his tablet would then update the amount due and I received 4 different amounts with every call and survey. I am very disappointed with how this new service was setup.

I think it's Hard to Experience something that has just been installed. I think this should be asked say after 30 to 60 days after installation. I finally got it installed after about 28 days due to aligning my work schedule. It appears that everything went well so far. I also notice that there is a neighbor of mine that has purchased Vivint.

We were looking for a security system and didn’t know what brand to go with and we went to Sam club and they present this system and we loved it. He was really nice, had a great personality and did a great job. Explained everything which made it easy to make decisions. No complaints at all. I was told that I did not need wifi to use any of the system. Technician let me know I was misinformed. This made me unhappy. Technician was fast knowledge but smelled bad. He also appeared to have a cold.

I first spoke to a sales rep with Vivint. The individual answered all of our questions. A scheduled install was initiated and a technician was sent to my home. The information he provided was more clear but caused me to re-evaluate the information provided by the sales rep. It seemed the technician knew much more than the sales rep. Had a great experience with the technician; very polite and was very friendly and helpful in providing all the information I was looking for.
Again, because the information was slightly different than what the sales rep provided I took a pause on starting service with Vivint. However, a rep from the company called me as a follow up and confirmed the information the technician provided. I felt more comfortable at that point and started service a few days later. I really appreciate the extent of your technician and follow-up call rep to ensure I had consistent information about services and equipment. Ultimately, I feel the ability of the reps to correct my concerns was phenomenal. Polite and concerned staff really made me feel as though they cared more about my concern than just trying to get another sale. Great job!!!

Vivint has a customer service model that is unparalleled in the business world. There's a reason why so many customers like me choose to have their security monitoring through them, despite difficulties in the past. I recently had someone try to break into my house and called them that night. They had Mr. Nathan ** at my house the very next day, first thing in the morning. I felt completely at ease with Mr. **. He talked me through the process of updating my equipment, what to expect in terms of timing and gave me explanations with patience, due to the fact that I have very little understanding with mechanical items. Mr. ** was professional, courteous and went above and beyond to empathize with my situation and listen to me.
From the customer service representative, Diego, to Alex the sales manager and Mr. **, I knew I was in good hands across the board and will continue to use Vivint as a precaution to protect what's most precious to me within this lifetime: my wonderful family. I didn’t know that I need internet. An employee told me that the ring bell camera has 180 degrees. I asked him if he was sure and he said yes! But was a lie! He told me that everything was going to be in Spanish for my parents even the iPad and that wasn’t true! He said that after 5 years. 5 YEARS! The amount will be reduce as $29 dollars! And I didn't see this specification in the contract! Him and the technician was very very nice, I understand that you need to make sales. Just be clear from the beginning! Now I want this to be cancel as soon as possible, and I don't want to receive a NO as an answer please. Thank you.

Stephane was great with his customer service skills. He was through with cameras, sensor and anything Vivint have to sell. He wasn’t pushy at all. Once he was done he made sure we knew how everything works before he left and made sure he answered any questions we had for him.

I had THE WORST experience with this crappy company. We signed the contract with them in June 2018 and since that day we had nothing but problems. Our panel hasn’t been working 40% of time (it’s currently not working AGAIN) and they don’t do much about it. When you call them and complain they tell you that technician will be at your house within 2 days or so or they send you extra equipment for you to set up in your house. The “equipment” is a another box that according to them has to be right next to the panel or internet router so in our case we would have to put the box in the middle of our leaving room where our kids play and people walk by frequently. Clearly there was something wrong with our panel from the beginning but they refused to change it until today when I told them I wanted to cancel the contract. Also, they told me they were giving us a “special treatment” by changing our panel (THAT DOESN’T WORK 40% OF TIME!).
According to our contract if I wanted to cancel I would have to pay the remaining amount for the panel and according to our contract I have to pay on time every month (which I have) and they have to provide me with the service they promised me (which they didn’t) therefore I should not have to pay an extra penny. In fact they should give me my money back for the service they didn’t provide (It's common sense). I was told by them that it is impossible to cancel the contract which I find it to be ridiculous since they didn’t followed the contract. On top of all of that when I told them I would leave a horrible review they admitted that they delete those so they would look good. I already contacted my lawyer and provided him with all the evidence so we are taking this to court. Please people DO NOT sign anything with this crappy company. This company does people dirty. Had to talk to several people before one woman finally understood a turning number and set it up properly. The gentleman who came out and did the install was personable and professional. Overall good experience once things were set up properly.
