    Mason came out and installed the equipment in our home. He was very courteous and professional. He installed all equipment and he walked us through the entire setup. The only issue was I didn’t get the extra cameras installed. It was a mixup and it wasn’t on his work order. I was a little disappointed, but I’m not holding Mason responsible. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous, keeping focused on our needs. They paid attention to my questions and concerns and were able to answer them quickly, accurately, and confidently. That's communication! That's customer service! Mr. Brady **'s was my initial contact. He set the pace. I was very impressed. Brady demonstrated true concern and compassion throughout the call, one step at a time. Brady then turned it over to Mr. Devin **. Devin also expressed a sincere interest in assisting me by asking key questions and being prepared with alternatives to custom build a system tapered to meet my needs physically and financially.

    Devin showed great patience allowing me to have time to discuss the purchase with my wife, and giving him a return call. Cordial, and prepared to move forward each time. These 2 young men define salesmanship and customer service. Never pushy, inpatient, or bullying, they have what It takes to make Vivint stand out as a premier home security source! The third man, Mr. Steve ** our installer, was not your typical guy. Steve has a great attitude! With so many technicians, you can tell that they work for someone else, lacking in acceptance of personal responsibility and accountability. They seem as though they are waiting for something to come up so that they can drop the ball for someone else to pick up.

    Not so with Mr. **! He worked as if he was the owner of Vivint and knew that the impression that he made meant everything. Again, possessing superior product knowledge, Steve was able to further help my family by making sure our system fit our needs and not trying to sell additional items that would simply increase the cost. Steve actually made some adjustments and saved us money with a slightly lower payment than originally quoted. Not grudgingly, but rather genuinely happy to help. His expertise made set up a time saving breeze.

    In conclusion, my family thanks Brady, Devin, and Steve for being part of the solution. We'd also like to thank Mr. Todd Pedersen for being a leader that instills quality in his team by setting the example first. What a blessing it is to know even as CEO, Mr Pedersen values customers and team members needs first. Even when presented with the opportunity to sell the company and walk away rich and carefree, he insisted on staying on as CEO to insure Vivint's values weren't diminished.     I agree 100% with you!! Vivint service sucks! They are so wonderful before signing up.. but one technician leaves, "Ohhh you are in for a horrible experience!!!" I disputed account with my credit card company and I am hoping I will get a refund. I paid equipment in full $1500 but it is the cheapest equipment and doesn't work. I reached out to them to get them to come fix equipment and they said all I needed was an update etc... Long story short, to me they didn't fix any of the issues so I contacted my credit card company and disputed charge, now I am trying to return equipment but Vivint says it's mine to keep and refuse to give return address.

    I have called several times different depts. Until finally a representative told me, "We will email you a return label, check your spam and inbox," and I did and nothing was ever emailed. I called again and they said there were no notes of anything or anyone to send a label via email, they are liars!!! So if anyone has the return equipment address please share, I want nothing to do with these Liars, thieves.

    I live in a rural area with limited bandwidth and asked during Vivint installation if the cameras (3) were going to cause any disruptions on wifi. I was told no. My spouse is currently deployed and I travel for work, so we were not home to test the system. When I did arrive home just over their 30 day downgrade policy, I noticed I was unable to get on my wifi. I called my internet provider and took their first available appointment. They came out,tested the system and said the cameras were the issue.

    I called Vivint to request the downgrade. I wanted to remove the cameras but keep the doorbell and security. They were unwilling to work with me and let me know my options were to hardwire my laptops to my router (so run cords across my house) or pay 3,000.00 to cancel my cameras. This is the literal worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not get trapped my them. They don't care about hardships, whether or not you are able to work with your equipment or the military. I am beyond disheartened. I just wanted a little safety with my husband overseas.

    I was promised an easy cancellation if I was not happy with service if before my 30 day trial. I tried canceling after only my 2nd day of service and have literally spent 10 hours today trying to cancel. They try to make it impossible to cancel and every time they say my service is cancelled, I call back to make sure and they say there is no record of my cancellation! This company is full of liars and has the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. Now I have to take them to court! Stay away!
