    The guy signing me up was nice but told me he would take initial payment out of my husband's card and put my card on file for next payment and that did not happen and the date I needed to pay was the 5th not the 1st and he said he would change it and did not. Those 2 things were important to me.

    The service with Vivint is questionable at best. We probably had four phone calls between me and my wife and probably talked to six or eight people in the course of those calls and now about a week later the system is finally operational. Setting up ADT and installing Ring at our old house was much easier but I’m willing to try this out with no contract for 30 days @$45. On top of the horrible phone system and siloed customer service there was no offer of a discounted doorbell cam when the tech showed (as had been suggested by my acct rep - the 3rd person I talked to).     Love the service, was difficult trying to get through. Sebastian and Matt were patient with me and I was a bear but they held their cool and that’s what made me stick with the service. However had some issues after trying to get the app and send the invite which lead to me having to have the system software updated and being offline for 24+ hours and I declined because it was such an ordeal getting up and running. So just my box alone I’m happy with it how it is.

    Thank you Sebastian and Matt again for putting up with my attitude and making me happy. These 2 guys are great and I’ve been a CS rep and am now a Nurse. A whole other level of CS and they deserve a raise and kudos and bonus and so much more. And they are the entire reason that I will keep my service as well as recommend Vivint!!!     A salesman by the name of Chase ** came to my home unannounced to sell me a Vivint system. Because I am a nice person, I reluctantly let him give me his pitch. He was very appropriate and nice and answered all of my questions. One of the first questions I asked was if I would have to be in a contract and he replied with “No, you can cancel at any time without penalty”. So I gave the system a chance. He had an iPad of some sort that I had to sign a few things on but rather than read it, I stupidly let the sales rep summarize to me what I was signing. After 9 months I decided to call and cancel. Turns out I am in a 5 year contract! FIVE YEARS!!! If I want to cancel I have to pay for the equipment and 50% of the monitoring for the remainder of the contract. They refuse to work with me despite the fact that their sales rep lied to me repeatedly. Terrible company with no values. Beware and sign up with a different company!

    The way the system was installed was very unprofessional. The tech did a crappy job. It has to be rescheduled and then the tech had to leave because he forgot parts then he was on his phone most of his installation.
