The guy signing me up was nice but told me he would take initial payment out of my husband's card and put my card on file for next payment and that did not happen and the date I needed to pay was the 5th not the 1st and he said he would change it and did not. Those 2 things were important to me.

Alarm install. Tim was very personable, patient, and knowledgeable. Tim was thorough and it was nice that he was able to look at our home and make suggestions, that were phenomenal. He stated he's only been at this job for 4 months. You would thinks it's been years.

The installer and main guy were very nice. The only thing I felt blind-sighted by was that the equipment is financed and shows up on your credit report. Other than that, we were pleased with how they presented the equipment and the that they took the time to show us how to use everything.

The guy that came out was super nice, made sure we had everything we needed & answered all our questions & any concerns we had on the the system. It took no time to hookup everything. I would differently recommend Vivint.

I was very impressed with the level of service that I received today. Tristan did a wonderful job explaining the system and what I should expect financially. We’ve been having issues with neighbors and needed an outside camera. The technician was courteous and professional. He was able to work with some previously installed equipment and locations to reduce invasive work in our home. Vivint was recommended to us and we will recommend them to others.

The Vivint system is awesome. I love the technology and the mobile app. In addition, the installer was amazing and did a great job setting up my home and explaining everything to me. He set up my whole home and a ring camera. The price is just right and the 0% financing is awesome.

Ryan who installed and Aaron our account rep did a great job getting us set up, even though our home provided some unique architectural challenges to consider! The equipment is great and quality on cameras is very good. The Vivint folks are very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to home security.

The service with Vivint is questionable at best. We probably had four phone calls between me and my wife and probably talked to six or eight people in the course of those calls and now about a week later the system is finally operational. Setting up ADT and installing Ring at our old house was much easier but I’m willing to try this out with no contract for 30 days @$45. On top of the horrible phone system and siloed customer service there was no offer of a discounted doorbell cam when the tech showed (as had been suggested by my acct rep - the 3rd person I talked to). Good luck if you are reading this.

This was our first experience with a smart home security system installation. German was a great Technician! Courteous, and very flexible when we wanted to chance a few items. Listened to our needs and did very good work with all the installation of the equipment. So far so good! Thank you!

Love the service, was difficult trying to get through. Sebastian and Matt were patient with me and I was a bear but they held their cool and that’s what made me stick with the service. However had some issues after trying to get the app and send the invite which lead to me having to have the system software updated and being offline for 24+ hours and I declined because it was such an ordeal getting up and running. So just my box alone I’m happy with it how it is.

Jessy did a great job, was pleasant, thorough but not overbearing. Did work in a timely manner and explained how everything works very well. I especially liked the fact that he was not "pushy" with equipment options. I definitely added more things on the system but felt it was my decision. Great job!

It made things difficult for Andy, our technician, who worked very hard to make sure things looked correct before having us sign paperwork. We loved him. He deserves a cruise.

I had a bad experience just getting an appointment for technical service person coming to my home with customer service. Stay home on 4/23/2020 for waiting for service between 12:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. No one ever came. Call customer service. Put on hold and was hung on.

Vivint was great and came through the same day we inquired for a quote. ADT never bothered to follow up until 3 days later and in the middle of Vivint installing our security system. Ryan ** from Vivint was great to work with and knowledgeable. He gave some insight and opinions on what else our home should have installed. We our happy with everything and how he set up everything with no mess or problems. He even gave us a rundown on how to operate the system and sync it with our phones and Amazon Echo device. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone.

Great experience with sales rep and tech and equipment works great. Sales rep went through everything very thoroughly and price was better than ADT and equipment was better technology and I could do on one app instead of several to control my home. I can arm my alarm doors and windows, open my garage, view my cameras, unlock my door and also adjust my thermostat through one app on my phone. Thanks Vivint. I haven’t had Vivint long but it’s been great. Matthew ** our install guy was the man. Went above and beyond, was super professional, cleaned up any mess he made, and was a joy to work with. Let us consult with him on every little thing he did. On top of that, the equipment is great. The cameras are crystal clear, sensors are discreet, and all of the bells and whistles are great. Would recommend Vivint (and Matthew) to anyone.

Our technician, Adam, was so helpful, especially when he realized there was an issue with our old equipment. He made sure we had what we needed, that everything worked as it should, and that we understood how to use our system. Before he left, he gave us his direct number and told us to contact him if we had any questions at all.

I switched companies. They said my other devices were compatible. After getting the install kit IT IS NOT! Return within 3 days or you won’t get your $ back! My doorbell camera, the indoor camera and None of the sensor I already have work. The fire alarm or Co2 sensors either!

My agreement says that I do not have to pay any value for installation and I have just been charged $ 186.24. It is the second time it happens to me, in September the same thing happened and the value was $ 138.00 and I NEVER received the money back and now they do it again. When one does not authorize a value to pay, it is called THEFT.

Representative did a great job setting me up to take over an existing system via a phone conversation. Within minutes the system was up and running and I could navigate the basic functions of the system. Now I need to download and register the app so that I can utilize the features via my phone.

Opted for setup over the phone. Service tech reached out to me before hand to get a head start on the process. I only had a 30min window during a very busy day to walk through setup. Tech got me set up quickly and answered all my question as well.

They didn't finish installation, brought the wrong service company, lied about a soft credit check and when you call or text they don't answer. Plus not only was it a hard inquiry it's under a $2000 dollar credit card that's maxed out when I told them I'd rather pay for ADT upfront, so why would they not send them?

Great sales rep and technician. They were very courteous and professional. The rep provided both videos and demonstration to help with products understanding. A salesman by the name of Chase ** came to my home unannounced to sell me a Vivint system. Because I am a nice person, I reluctantly let him give me his pitch. He was very appropriate and nice and answered all of my questions. One of the first questions I asked was if I would have to be in a contract and he replied with “No, you can cancel at any time without penalty”. So I gave the system a chance. He had an iPad of some sort that I had to sign a few things on but rather than read it, I stupidly let the sales rep summarize to me what I was signing. After 9 months I decided to call and cancel. Turns out I am in a 5 year contract! FIVE YEARS!!! If I want to cancel I have to pay for the equipment and 50% of the monitoring for the remainder of the contract. They refuse to work with me despite the fact that their sales rep lied to me repeatedly. Terrible company with no values. Beware and sign up with a different company!

The sales team was very accommodating with our time schedules. Installation was smooth and without problems. Davis was gracious enough to ensure placement of control panel was everything we wanted. Davis also took the time to make sure we were comfortable not only with the control panel but as well with the application. Everything went smooth and are happy with the system.

The install went very smooth. Suggestions from the technician was accurate. I was very pleased and technician was friendly. The payment plan and process was explained in detailed. It took about 1/2 hour to go over the options that you chose. Therefore, installing took approximately 3 1/2 hrs.

Nick did my installation and he was very friendly and helpful. With all of this coronavirus stuff going on I want to mention that he was very safe and informed me that he had not been exposed to anyone with it, had taken his temperature before arriving, wore a mask, and kept a safe distance. I’ll recommend Vivint to my friends and neighbors. I’m very pleased with everything.

The technician worked with great professionalism and full knowledge of his work, he was very clean and organized, in addition to explaining each step he took when installing the equipment, he answered all our questions and helped us configure the entire system. We receive excellent service.

The technician was very knowledgeable and courteous. He explained everything he was doing, all the functions of the equipment he was installing, answered all my questions, took his time to show me how to use everything. He wore gloves and put on shoe booties. I was very happy.

Technician, Justin, was awesome. He came by already running behind schedule but was very patient and willing to explain everything. He was supposed to do panel activation but ended up doing full install of new equipment in the exact places I asked him to. He ended up leaving after 11pm but he completed everything I needed. I was a little unsure of how the process would be but after talking with the electrician and seeing how he was working, I found that it was more simple than I thought. Austin did his thing and told me issues about the home’s electrical system that I didn’t even know. Good guy, knew what he was doing and would recommend his work again.

I got the doorbell camera. I wanted one indoor camera and he installed equipment I already had. It took longer than I planned but installer was professional except for the drywall left on floor after putting hole in my wall. I was disappointed that Vivint wasn’t recommended by the BBB. Also paid more money down than I expected. I wish I could give more stars but this is Day #1.

The original appointment on the phone was made for Saturday, 4/11. No one showed up and there was no text message or telephone call. We waited all day. I called Monday morning and asked about the Saturday appointment. The lady I spoke to said we weren’t on the schedule and it must’ve been lost somewhere. Was not too happy. I hope the original telephone conversation was taped so you will know that we did have A Saturday morning appointment. Abel, our installer, was very polite, He knew exactly what to do. He explained everything thoroughly. We really appreciate him wearing gloves and a mask.

Technician knew his product but waited for me to ask questions. Wished he would of took me around to show me where sensors were. Once I asked he did but I was curious about how it worked. Overall very nice, professional, neat and clean. I would rate it a 5 star install. Thank you Aaron.

We would highly recommend a Vivint security system to our family and friends and definitely Tim, as the installer as he is very knowledgeable and explains the operation of the system. Prices are fair. Tech knew what he was doing and was very informative! Like all of the polices of Vivint. I felt like vivint was the best company after talking to several other companies on the phone. Friends of ours use vivint. They are very satisfied.

With Covid 19 going on, I was surprised to have to use installers phone to answer questions. I would have held off installation till the stay home order was lifted. It was hard to keep a six foot distance. Installer did use hand sanitizer and was nice.
