    I had to call too many times (+50) to get the door camera back online. They charge way too much for the service. 3 year service contract is too long, they increase the monthly payment on four different occasions and once you cancel the service, they charge you another 30 days in which, I was not informed about until, I received my credit card statement.

    Everything was going fine. They ask to have my credit unlocked and it would be soft inquiry. I agreed. Turns out it's a hard inquiry by the bank that determines approval. This was a very misleading interaction. If they were honest about the whole process. I would keep my product. But for me one misleading problem results in my trust. If I was told that it would've been a hard inquiry I wouldn't have wasted mine or the rep's time. I stopped him, by the way, as he was on his way elsewhere. That's what annoying. What's more annoying is everything is installed and I want it out my house. You guys need to have your reps be more honest about their sales. I was in sales before and this is wrong. I can write more about the situation but what's the point.

    DO NOT GET TRICKED!!! I was tricked into the agreement which I specifically asked the salesperson if there will be any early termination fee or penalty fee, he said NO. I decide to cancel the services due to horrible experiences, months later, I received a collection letter for ~ $2.5k. I called collection company A, made arrangements, paid whatever they wanted, and again, I received ANOTHER collection letter which for an additional $1.3K from collection company B!!! I have no clue how many hidden fees they have and want me to pay off!!! I called into Vivint, they don't have an answer, they blame everything on the collection companies. There are two different collection companies and this customer services person has been repeating on the same one I have made the payment, not the one I called in about. Horrible services, DO NOT RECOMMEND!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

    After five years as a reasonably satisfied customer I realized we were paying way too much for quality home security. I contacted Vivint in September of 2018 to give notice of my intent to cancel their service at the end of the contract. The agent, on a recorded line, confirmed that my termination date would be 12/31/18, but that the last two months of the contract would be free if I submitted a written request to terminate at least 60 days prior.

    I sent the request, installed a new security system and thought all was well. They then pulled the old trick of offering me a discount to stay. I declined and since then I have received multiple notices of an unverified amount due. Despite multiple follow up calls and submission of proof of my following their termination request they continue to contact me, now turning their request over to a collection agency. I have never had such poor quality customer service or their absolutely deaf treatment for my fully documented process that they provided. Be forewarned and stay clear of Vivint!

He will call me back after verifying if package has shipped. Was later contacted and was told that my equipment did not ship that I will get a call back. Still waiting on a callback. As I said before to the representative before making my payment I am in the process of moving from another state and I can not be at my home no more than two days because I need to get back on the road, he assured me then I will receive my equipment by the two day mark, I am very upset and disappointed and asked for a refund if you guys can not meet my needs.
