    It doesn't work yet but the installer and sales people were great. We're having a problem hooking up to my phone. I would like to keep the system but if I can't operate it does me no good but everything you offer is great., I hope we can resolve this issue and move forward. I was only approved for so much but plan to add as time goes but.... I guess we will find out????

    On May 23, 2020, a vendor from Vivint offered me the alarm service and offered to pay 50 dollars a month for an alarm and doorbell, and he never told me that the equipment would be charged, he told me that they would use the equipment I had. I from my other company told me that he would give me a free month for me to try it and if I did not like it I could cancel it he told me that if I decided to keep the service the contract would be for 2 years.

    Now I am trying to cancel the service because on Monday May 25 the first month of my bank account had been charged. I am contacting the vivint agents and they tell me that I cannot cancel that I have a 5-year contract that only I had 3 days to cancel that they can't do anything, I'm very unhappy because they told me lies. They tell me that they cannot do anything that they cannot believe what I am saying. I need proof to prove what the seller told me and the seller tells them that he never told me what he explained, but that is not true. He told me something totally different it is not fair that they sell their services based on lies.

    We just moved into a home that had a Vivint doorbell installed, and when we called yesterday to get it set up under our name, we were informed of all the other equipment we had in our house from the previous owners.     While I was initially annoyed with a solicitation visit when we have a No Solicitation sign on our house, I'm glad we opened the door for this one. So far, so good - pros: professional and courteous, true to their word so far (they are buying out our former contract with ADT but that hasn't happened yet because ADT requires a 30 day cancellation notice, so they won't send us the final bill till after June 12); they were able to install faster than expected (but it took over 4 hours for the install and training); the system seems to be working well - love the fact you can set rules like arming and disarming your home at a specific time each day.

    The only "con" to me, was the high pressure to switch. It's like they would not take "no" for an answer. Also, they were out of stickers for our doors so I still need to call for those. Lastly, the guy that sold us the system envisioned the hub going on our living room wall so we could always see who was walking up to our door but the installer said he could not put it there due to the configuration of wood and outlet in the wall so it's inconveniently located in our laundry room. This means we have to get out our phone, turn it on, open the app, wait for it to load, wait for the cameras to load, etc. before we can actually see who's at the door. This takes longer than expected!! But overall, it's a good system and I'd recommend it to a friend.

    Sales guy was pleasant but slightly misinformed. He thought the entire system was wireless (I had an existing Nest video doorbell which wasn’t operating because of some wiring issue that we had yet to figure out). I also have an outdoor Nest camera that’s still in box. Salesman told me that Vivint would purchase those products if we decided to use these products instead. The installer hadn’t ever heard of this, so that was kind of a bummer. Installer had to come at 8:30pm and left at 11pm. Dealt with wiring complications, but he worked hard and figured it out. He briefly showed me how to work everything, and made sure I had no questions. My only other issue is the video doorbell keeps going offline, and I’m not feeling the app is very user friendly (or maybe I just haven’t gotten the hang of it). All in all, positive experience.

    Sandman ** was great and did a really good job in getting us the right products for our home. The installer was pretty efficient besides tripping a breaker and we couldn't figure out what happened until a couple hours later. We also had to replace the doorbell and wall panel because they would not work with the deter setting which increased the install time by about 2 hrs. Lastly, only issue I had was that we weren't told that we were going to pay for the service starting on install day. I was told we had a trial period of 1 week. Then a month from there we would be charged the monthly equipment fee and the service fee. It wasn't a huge deal but wasn't expected. Overall, a really good experience! I'd recommend to others!

    I called them after another company couldn’t keep a connection several times, I was wanting something fast due to not feeling safe and no defenses. We finalized a price and although a bit steep and not including the outside cameras it was some security and I could add on later the extra cameras, when he told me it would be next week I said, "Oh no I’m sorry (that’s at least four or five days ). I will search more for a quicker solution". He then asked me to hold to ask his supervisor about overnighting to me which would’ve put my security here Friday or Saturday.

    Nope it’s Tuesday and still no system and the customer service rep says it’s still not actually shipped and casually informed me that possibly Wednesday. So I explained to her the deal I was given about overnight and she says to call back Tuesday if I want to cancel! So that’s it. He made his sale and at the risk of my security and safety and I’m to just call Tuesday (today) to cancel if that’s what I want..?! What??! Not really even an ounce of concern, apology or care for the betrayal from the salesman and this is who is gonna monitor my safety.... Hmmmm idk????

    Everything was great in the beginning. Love the equipment, loved the sales rep that came to our house. I even had to call customer service and that went well. But, the next day, my husband found shoe prints on the hold of our very expressive car. Two techs came out but one of them used my husband's car to walk on while installing the garage system! Who does something like that and we asked both techs multiple times, "Do we need to move our vehicle?" And both said no. I'm extremely pissed!!!!     I really found it unusual that the technician did not clean up his mess. Left all boxes that he took the product out of on table. I felt he rushed through instructions even though we have had a system years ago. The salesman asked us for a password when selling the product so we gave home the password if Vivint would call to verify our identity so we gave it to him. When tech was here I had to leave so he asked my husband for a password also. He did not know this was the same password he was asking for so we gave him a different one not realizing that’s what he wanted. One or the other should ask not both.

    I would give it 5 stars but the home office or whoever set up the install messed up paperwork/information and when we ran the credit for the payment plan/financing, it kept saying declined yet I got emails for the terms/etc. Apparently it was being run under my wife’s name and my SSN/DOB etc. This caused a delay with the install for 2 hours because the tech kept having to call and the customer service said it was fixed but it never was. The tech was beyond patient and made sure we were taken care of in every sense. Highly recommend him for any install.
