    My tech guy was terrible. He didn’t explain the service to me fully. It’s like he was in a rush. Also I felt as if he was rude and not accommodating. He blame a censor or being our fault when we were told that he could replace our sensor if we had any issues. Just wasn’t polite at all.

    The representative that came to my house was very knowledgeable and explained everything great. We got interrupted several times from my business but he was patient and understanding that I was still working. The installation was great. He showed me how to use the system and explained everything great. I think In the future if someone is installing several different components you should send more than one person so it doesn’t take as long. The one person installing was going fast but it would have been nice to have it done before my son's bedtime.

    Salesman was a bit forceful though polite. Install was scheduled for 8am, they showed up at 1130am. Was told it will take 1 hour, it took 3hrs. It cost me a day of work due to their tardiness. Some the services I purchased could not be installed same day, said it could a month to get it. Not a real good start to this experience with Vivint. Installer was friendly and polite. Was it worth the hassle? We shall see. They already started a fire on bridge!

    We've been with Vivint since 2013. Our equipment broke in April 2020 yet Vivint never once reached out about lack of monitoring. They happily charged our CC though! We called July 2020 to end our month to month monitoring and take our business elsewhere. They talked us into replacing our outdated equipment. The monthly monitoring would have been cheaper than what we've been paying and we do like their equipment so we decided to give them another chance. Bad idea. During my initial phone call, I was asked to sign inaccurate PSA and the guy got pushy when I requested it reflect what we had discussed.

    Installation day came and the install tech was great. Once he arrived, we realized ODC's required exterior damage to our home so we declined buying those. Our equipment list was modified based on the installation assessment and due to no ODC's, the monthly monitoring was cheaper than originally quoted. We paid for our equipment in FULL at time of installation. Vivint sent us the Install Equipment List as well as the PSA we signed at install which was a ONE MONTH term agreement. The PSA was correct - we paid for the equipment in full and first month of monitoring. The next week Vivint invoices me for the first month of monitoring and charges me the higher monthly monitoring rate.

    Vivint also began sending 2 emails daily requesting I sign a new PSA that was not accurate at all. It showed higher equipment cost than we purchased and that it would be paid off via a loan and the monthly rate was the higher amount. I refused to sign and immediately called Vivint. I spent roughly an hour on the phone to resolve and the gentleman said they would send updated documentation by end of business. I never heard back so I called the next day and spent two hours being tossed around call centers. I was told to email them the contract they had been sending me so I sent in the email per their request and was told I would hear back from upper management within 24-48 hours.

    A week goes by and still nothing from Vivint besides 2 emails each day urging me to sign the bogus PSA. I have sent another email to end our month to month agreement and still no response. I have notified my credit card company to be on the watch for Vivint charges and will dispute whatever shenanigans they may try to pull. It's unfortunate that a company that has had our business for 7 years can't resolve this issue. Had they handled this properly and accurately then we would have agreed to stay with them, but I can't trust a company like Vivint especially if they're completely unresponsive to me. Shame on you, Vivint.

    Super awesome alarm system with many features and professional customer service! The alarm includes three cameras with superior resolution and the mic is phenomenal how it picks up the sound. I really enjoy you can talk through the cameras, just in case a threat appears and I can give that person a piece of my mind. The ringer with camera also is super awesome capturing enough of the front curtilage. The thermostat is another awesome gadget allowing me to view it on my phone and setting it on specific temperature that is fit for my family and home, also to save money on the electric bill.

    I also included the smart garage in case we leave the garage door open, we can close it with our phone or open. The front door also got an upgrade with a bolt lock that can be accessed through my phone to allow us to lock the door or unlock it when we are not home and someone we know needs to come in to our home.     Everyone was wonderful. Only reason it was only 4 stars was because the installation was 30 minutes after signing and I was in a Zoom meeting and I don’t know the passcode to our front door, how to long to our Alexa Amazon device or our MyQ garage opener. My husband and I don’t really know how to use the control panel so we didn’t activate last night. Is someone going to help us with that?

    The sales person was very pushy even though we said no but kept offering longer free trial to get us to sign up. Install tech was good but the install was supposed to take 2 hours and he was here for 5. Also we talked about it being temporary since we didn’t know if we were going to keep the system, he still asked where to mount things like the hub and drilling holes into the door when you could have used double sided tape

    Clifford our sales guy was great! Very personable. Set us up with everything we wanted. Jacob the installer started out great but was having issues getting the system to work and after 5 hours left with the promise to come back early I had to call at 10 am get get him to show up at 11. He knew that we were on a time limit and surpassed that limit by 1.5 hours and we almost missed our flight out. It seemed as though he took a short cut in wiring that he had to later fix. And had to replace a faulty door lock. But the system is up and working so we are satisfied with the system.

    We were extremely pleased with the services offered as presented by the knowledgeable salesperson. He explained things in an understandable manner and covered every concern. However, when the installation tech showed things detonated quickly. He provided very little explanation of any aspect, even when questioned. Then the crowning blow when he told me he would call me back to let me know the time he would return to complete the installation. He never called or came by. I finally contacted the sales person and he responded.

    On his return he did not have all the equipment so promised to call back and even gave his mobile number. When he did not show as promised I call the number he gave me. No answer and his voicemail was full. After several attempts to contact I had to go back to the salesman to get a response. If had not been for the salesman I would have cancelled the deal. Very unhappy with the installation and still am today as the tech told me something was wrong with my panel and he would need to replace. Two weeks, no call and has not shown.

    Nick was very polite and friendly during his visit. He was easy to talk to and efficient. I was shocked when the installers arrived, to see how young the men were. Glad to see young men gaining experience however. The personality of each of the 3 installers was less appealing than what we had experienced with Nick. There seemed to be a lack of concern that my toddler was asleep while they were working. I expect noise during an installation but the clattering of tools and buckets being moved and dropped was unnerving. I think an interpersonal communication workshop would improve the customer experience with the installers. Or maybe just the 3 that assisted with our residence. Overall we are very happy with the outcome.

    We were very excited to start using our system. I love the inside cameras and that I can talk to my kids and dogs. The only thing that was odd was the installers were here until 11:30 at night. I finally had to tell them to come back the next day or they would be here until 1:30 in the morning. Also the final cost was a lot more than quoted. The service tech told us around $50 or $60 but our monthly bill is $106. Also, we were sold on the fact that if a new or more modern camera or system comes out that they will replace our old ones for no additional cost. Turns out that’s a lie, they will only replace with a more modern camera if they break. Other than those few issues, it seems like a good system and we are excited for it.

    I’m solely basing the perfect rating based on the quality of products and the technician that came to install my alarm. My feedback is more towards the quote process which was frustrating.. Your employees need to have access to what was quoted from their peers so everything is transparent and not quoting different prices which is a headache. Secondly do NOT hire contractor technicians. Jeffrey ** refused to wear a mask prior to entering my home and he proactively cancelled the work order Without even discussing with me all because I asked politely to wear a mask. He was rude and he seemed like he didn’t want to be there. He was unprofessional from dress wear to his attitude. He wore a t-shirt basketball shorts and croc shoes. He should not be working for your company especially when your company is client facing. Again his name was Jefferey **.

    The actual Vivint guy was amazing!!! He did an excellent job installing and explains every single detail! Hire more guys like him who actually care about your clients vs contracting average untrained Joes who are damaging your brand. Other than that your products are the best and the actual vivint employees (not contractors) were world class!

This system has a talking camera doorbell with different ring chimes you can choose and the system itself is awesome because it has the camera too and talks letting you know exactly where the issue is when the alarm goes off. It has police, ambulance, and fire buttons. It also has all information and phone #s for this company Vivint Security. The guys who came out immediately were awesome and fast and very knowledgeable. This system can be operated on your phone too. Cost is $60 mo and free install. Sooooo much better than ADT!!!     Daniel was very accommodating. He came twice and missed my husband. He came back at a later time when he was here so he had all the information. He explained everything and asked about our needs and concerns. He helped us get the right package. He was very thorough and answered all our questions. He said we could call him at any time if we had issues with the system and he would take care of us.

    The installer was also excellent. He was quick and thorough. He walked us through everything and answered all our questions. He assisted us through the phone app and made sure we felt confident. He showed us how to work the panel and the app on our phones. The very next day I was able to see alerts, look at the camera, see passed images, arm and disarm, and lock and unlock my door as needed for family members all while working on my computer and on a zoom meeting.     Both of the guys were friendly, courteous and business oriented in their conduct and business. So far I like the services installed. However if something were to happen to my husband not sure I can afford them. We will see when that time comes as that is when I need the security more than ever.

    Initial contact from Cage was great and professional. Install team was quick and professional on installation very informative. Only complaint I have is the phone application has not worked at all since purchase, so I haven't been able to finish set up or view my cameras yet.

    Purchased our new home and it had an existing Vivint system, which looked great. That was the very short lived and deceiving. Had a representative come out to show us the system and update with new cameras which costs $299 each, but when we called they lowered to $99. That should have been a red light there. The technician put the cameras but in the last camera he put it in the wrong place, so he had to drill more holes into our home. Patched up the wrong holes horribly.

    When we got our bill it was more than what was initially said. Then the alarm triggered while we had family here and had to demand a technician come out due to COVID, as the system was faulty. We updated two sensors. Technician said $50 so we agreed. Got my bill and it was $160 for each sensor. I cannot believe that they do not have their billing system in place that correlated with their technician's pricing. I am so unhappy and dissatisfied with this alarm company. I have spent more time calling them to dispute my charges. I called them and they said it was a billing error. Unbelievable. Do not go with Vivint! I had ADT and was better in every way!
