Tech was great and got everything working.. Worked with us to find best location for cameras and what it would see from where... Had a slight issue with the Garage Hub but that was do to the distance from the wifi downstairs.

I don't think I made a good choice after sitting and reading the who papers this morning. I don't think that I will be able to afford this. It is very expensive and the doorbell is not ringing or letting me know when someone is at the door. And I was told I would not have to make a payment until November and this morning the money was already moved from my account.

Timely, clean, friendly, knowledgeable. Equipment was installed with skill, wires concealed. Software is straightforward and easy to use. Setup is complete, cameras work better than expected. Looking forward to new options also. Would definitely recommend Vivint over any other major vendor I researched.

I’m going on my second billing cycle with no access to my panel, wires are still exposed, and not a call or return from the guy who came out September 14th. I’ve called multiple times, submitted surveys. This is supposed to make me feel safe with Vivint? NO.

The technician who came out today to upgrade our equipment was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He was also incredibly respectful and considerate of our health by keeping his work space clean and wearing a mask. I will definitely let people know about my experience! Thanks again Vivint!

Install went well and was done rather quickly! I have never had a security system before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Very cool equipment. The ring bell camera has a very wide angle! My home is older and doesn't have a wired indoor bell, but that was not a problem for the technician.

The technology does not work as well as the sales person explained and the system cost significantly exceeds the benefits. The install was sloppy and the tech left a big mess to clean up. Disappointed in the overall system for the cost and would not recommend.

Had a young gentleman show up at my house. Very polite, very easy going to explain everything very thoroughly. He is dressed very clean cutting, very well spoken and had a team over here to install our cameras and security system and no time. What impressed me the most was the time of night that they were out working to think there were here until almost 10:00 10:30. We had a couple minor complications but the gentleman took care of our bill and knocked a couple months off and couldn't be happier. I have recommended you to multiple people and will continue to do so.

I was very impressed with my technician, he really took the time to make sure I had all my cameras exactly where I needed them to be and covered all areas that I was concerned with. Having a business run out of my home I had a lot of concerns and he really made sure everything was covered, and walked through using the app on my phone. I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends!

Tech arrived on time. Called another tech to help with the install. All went well. Installed four camera, 9 glass breaks, door lock, and four-door sensors. Did a good job explaining how to use the Vivint system. Pleased with the install. Can't wait to use the system.

Ricky was fantastic. He worked through the needs we have for our home based on the area and even willingly dealt with our 175lb dog. He explained things clearly and the installer was a rockstar. We are bummed the garage door system didn’t work with our garage but we will add it after we finish building our new home.

I upgraded my security system to a Vivint SafeHome system. The Vivint salesperson and the service technician were both friendly and professional. They knew the products very well and were able to quickly answer all of my questions. Overall, my experience was great.

I love the system. So far the only issue has been with a camera going offline for no reason and not getting our 5g router to stream the video to my phone. The sales guy was helpful and the installation was quick. Shelby and Donald are great.

So far so good, Dan was great and quick and I can’t complain. Install was easy and simple, tech was nice and clean and I couldn’t of asked for better service. My friends and family have this system so I was comfortable knowing it works for them.

I operate short term rentals and I love that I can have secure keyless entry, cameras and thermostat all on one app. The panel needs to upgrade periodically but it all works smoothly from anywhere. Makes it easy to keep track of what is happening at my places.

Service was great... The only issue is different referrals.. Some say 50. Some say up to 200. I feel like it should be same across board... This should be offered the same to everybody.. Love smart home so far.. It seem to work great and eager to use it.

I'm very pleased with the system itself. My only issue was the sales rep describing some awesome cameras with all the bells and whistles. When the installer arrived, she had basic cameras and I had to pay about $100 extra for each of the 5 cameras to upgrade to the cameras that were described to me. I didn't even know there was a basic camera. I thought I was getting the cameras described to me. And because I went over the credit limit with the upgrade, I now have to pay an additional "large system" fee every month. I feel like I was bamboozled. The system is great though.

The guys were very nice and very helpful. The setup didn't take too long. And even offered to sweep the mess they had from the drilling. Something others don't care to do after work they do. Both guys were very talkative while still working making it not be so uncomfortable.

My tech, Reuben, was here for 11 hours for my install and made sure everything worked before leaving. He had to replace a couple of different parts to get my install right and never complained or tried to put to the next day; just got it done. He was great and hope he’s my tech moving forward!

Husband and I are very satisfied with the customer service we received from Vivint. Cameron was able to come over and within the same evening have everything installed so we could have peace of mind during the night after an attempted break in. I don't know if their timing was just right, but these guys were great. The only reason we were staying with our cheap crappy monitoring company was because I couldn't buy out the rest of our contract of nearly $1000 and I wasn't sure anyone else would be affordable on a monthly basis as well as quality. We're excited for our new system!

Our technician that installed the equipment was great! He knew the limits of the equipment we purchased and recommended the best locations. He was professional and courteous. The gentleman that we dealt with over the phone prior to installment wasn’t Very knowledgeable. We were told false information about equipment and promised things that weren’t possible. Overall happy with Vivint so far, definitely need to get your sales crew more training.

The clarity on the Vivint is great, but BE CAREFUL, there are many issues with this system. The Sales Rep. Wes, was a complete joker, he sold me a system that does not fit the need of my property. He sold a fairytale that turned out to be a nightmare. First off, you can only have VIVINT doorbells as the functioning system at your house. Any other system, such as Ring, or even a standard doorbell will not work. In order to address this you have to purchase a VIVINT doorbell for each door. As for the cameras, the view lines are not as expected. I now have 2 large dead spots on my property that required coverage. For an additional doorbell and 2 cameras (that I didn't know I would need) would cost more $$$$.
The panels cannot be installed on an exterior wall, SO be prepared to have a panel on the interior of your house. I have a monitor in my living room, where it's not functional for its use. The customer service department is the worst. I've been calling the customer service every day for the past 4 weeks, and still haven't resolved my issue. THIS IS A SCAM!!!

I got set up with Vivint through my property management company. There was some miscommunication on my management company’s part on the deal I was getting for the system. The day prior to my installation I got a call from Vivint to go over installation and just general information. Upon talking to the representative we figured out that what I was told by my property management company was not the deal I was actually getting, he referred me to the account helpline; Upon calling the rep who assisted me heard my concerns and did his best to get me the best deal possible. He was very polite and very helpful.
I recently moved from California to Florida, I always felt like genuine customer service is hard to come by in California, so I was very surprised with the way he handled my situation. We came to terms on a deal and proceeded with the setup of my system. I want to personally thank the rep who helped me for going above and beyond. I will definitely be recommending Vivint to friends and family.

Everything was good. The sales representative was very helpfu. He explain the services and what choices I have. The only negative I have was that installer show up late with no uniform or company car. He dont let any signs that mention that we have the Vivint service but besides this we love the whole system. This service sucks and I’m going with another service. Cameras take a while to come on. My camera in my backyard has never worked since I had it. I have called several time. They never send anyone out to try and get the camera fix. They try to fix it with a person on the other end of the phone every time. They will come in your home as if their service is great. Trust me PLEASE DON’T DO IT. DO NOT GET THEIR SERVICE. WHAT THEY SELL YOU IS NOT WHAT YOU'RE GETTING. I even paid AT&T to come in and put a internet box in my home so the internet would reach outside still no camera. In my backyard. DON’T DO IT.

Security System was upgraded. The technicians were professional and knowledgeable. The sales rep was a sales rep. When we asked when the installation would be he asked if we could be flexible, that it would be within the week. My wife was under the weather and not prepared to absorb everything we probably needed to absorb. I asked if we could delay but he was rather insistent that he had people next door and it would cost him more money to come out again later. That was rather off putting and insensitive. Everything went very well. Have had no problems with any device pairing and the video is very clear on all cameras. The install went excellent as did the salesman who came to show us products and did not push any products but just seeing what we would like covered and what would be suggested. All the wires and home hub are tucked away neatly and no wires are showing. Excellent service.

Javier came and did our install. He acted with utmost integrity and work ethic. He clearly explained details and instructions clearly as well as worked beyond hours to make sure everything was done correctly. He is a measure twice cut once type of person. Initially, I thought I was getting a consultation from Vivint. I quickly realized the gentleman Tim who came to my home was not aware of what the sales rep briefly told me. I could tell to her it was “just a sale”, but for Tim he truly cared about me as a customer and wanted to be sure I was well aware of what I was signing up for.
Long story short the determining factor was a credit pull. I refuse to finance for anything and had I been told honestly how this process work I would not have wasted Tim's time. In the end Tim worked extremely hard with Account manager Josh to get me a deal of a lifetime! Due to their exceptional customer service and him being so genuine during my home visit I agreed to continue to move forward with Vivint. Please ensure your customers know the truth about your products. Honesty means more. Thank you Tim!

Their products fail in all ways. Front door code is not working. Garage door??? Your cell tells you once you drive away that Garage fails to closed...WHEN IT'S CLOSE.. Thermostat cool or heat. Same situation.. The putted it and VERY ANNOYING whistle on front door camera THAT ME, MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOR HATE IT!! I did call several times. They called me and nothing happen. THEY IGNORED YOU AND NOT FIX ANYTHING.. Pleaseee do a favor to you, your family and your POCKET. DON'T GET INTO THIS MESS. You will regret it badly!!!

Technician was on time and wore a mask the entire time. He was pleasant and professional. The only issue I had was that he didn't seem familiar with the equipment. While showing us how to use the base station, he didn't seem confident about how to work it. Overall, the experience was better than average.

So basically they are pretty fast to collect signatures and information but they aren’t accurate when it comes to installation time and they only installed 75% of the equipment needed. I am waiting on a router and also my dvr to be installed and without it you can’t access the app or mess with settings on our phones. Most of the settings are on the phone app and not on the panel. So they are sending a tech but it might not be until a whole week from today.

Sales rep was amazing, but not happy with install. Panel keeps coming loose from connection and so they are going to have to come back out to fix the issue. For the amount of time he was there, it should have been 100%.

We had been wanting a security system for a while but didn’t think we could afford it. We also have to lease our house because we are not able to buy a home atm. The salesman knocked on our door and by the time he left we had one already being installed!! All for a reasonable price too! He went above and beyond to get us this awesome security system for our family and we love it! I would recommend to friends but they all have it too! The kids are safe and that’s the best part of it all. You can’t put a price on the well being of your loved ones and the sales rep worked it out for us because he was a good man and a good salesman. We also can get a new house and we can take the security system with us! There are so many great things to say about Vivint and I hope all families can feel safer by getting Vivint.

We had this system installed about two weeks ago and have had nothing but problems with it since. The door doesn't lock like it's supposed to and there was never any "window break" installed. We called customer service and tried to cancel the service and they told my husband that we would have to pay 3,000 dollars to cancel the service. This is a new system that we haven't had that long and all we wanted was for them to come take their equipment back out. Customer service was of no help whatsoever and now we are stuck with a system that doesn't work. We are not happy with the equipment or with the customer service provided as they offered no resolution.

We just had a technician, Zack, come and install a Vivint security system into our home. The system is top notch. The camera clarity is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Just moved to Utah. Needed some security and went with these guys. So far, the experience has been great! It was a quick set up, quick activation and friendly services. Pricing is also pretty fair for a good system install and equipment. Luckily for me most of the equipment had already been installed. I’d recommend these guys.

Vivint offers a great service as well as essential equipment needed for home security. My first interaction was by phone with a customer service representative named Scott **. He was pleasant, but I found that he provided inaccurate information pertaining to cost. He also failed to mention the financing portion of the equipment and service which you would have to qualify for. I could see that having a negative impact on attaining customers who simply do not like to be blindsided.
My next interaction was with the service technician for install, named Johnny **. The service technician was thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. His effort in helping me to understand actual cost and the financing portion put me at ease. I no longer felt mislead and I gained trust for the company because of Johnny. His work ethic is ideal and the reason I decided to proceed with service install. Please ensure customer service staff and all other staff strive to be honest, exemplify superior dedication, quality of service, and efficiency just as Johnny has. In doing so, Vivint will go very far. Great people make a greater company.

The salesman that came to my door lied about multiple things just to get my business. I was told there was no contract and I was told I would not be charged anything upfront and those were both lies. I’m about to call and cancel my older services and find out if they really do cover as much as I was told to switch over. Very disappointed.

This was a great experience overall. I would definitely recommend others to use the security system. The services they provide was done professionally. Did have to wait an extender for a little time to make sure that the cameras were operating properly. Good spent multiple times trying to configure all systems and equipment with users very professional manner. The pricing was Very reasonable for our princess. Will recommend having to several of our other locations that we have within a couple.

We are going through a pandemic but yet a tech guy was to my house without the proper PPE. He had no gloves and no shoe protection. Several time I had to remind him to seal holes he made in my wall. He even left an equipment plugged in in an open area in the house. My backyard camera stop working on the same day. I am not yet a Vivint customer but my experience so far is not the greatest.

I just had a Vivint consultant come by. He was very personable and easy to talk to. The deal was too good to pass up for what I have been wanting. Being a single mom, security is very important. Installation occurred right after I signed, so no waiting. I had 3 guys installing which took no time at all which was nice. Full training on the system was provided. Since I just got it, I can't comment on the actual service yet. Sales and install process was easy. I got all the products I wanted in the promotion.

We had an excellent sales experience. Our marketing/sales guy gave us all the information and was clear and concise. We felt fully informed. We had been looking for a security system so it happens at a great time. Our installer was friendly and quick but I think a little too quick. We weren’t stoked About the install of our doorbell. We felt it too low and didn’t show all we wanted too. The way it way installed left able to cut the wire. He then put some silicone behind it but it just doesn’t look nice. We should have had more of a discussion on the issues of placement beyond where the plug was. I'm happy with the install of the other items. As far as the device itself, we love the way it’s supposed to work. We’ve only had it for a day but it’s pretty great so far.

This definitely happened quickly. The sales rep talked with me for about 45 mins, and then within another 45, the tech was ringing the doorbell. There were difficulties with the installation. The tech cracked the vinyl siding and put an extra hole in exterior wall. They reported the incident and reassured me that there would be compensation or reimbursement for repairs. I appreciated the speed and the pricing seems good with the free installation offer and the financing for the equipment, but I was have hoped for a little be more professionalism from the installation tech.

Seth M. was super friendly, and very informative, he was interested in getting to know us for us, we felt no pressure from him as far as him landing a sale which also helped make our decision easy! He was very informative. A lot of perks with this company. We love that we own the equipment and we love that if we move they will come Uninstall and reinstall it at the new house free of charge. We went with the doorbell, camera at the driveway which also shows the whole front yard, door sensors at front and back, glass break, and the smoke detector. Super awesome features and the amount of things we can add on down the road is unbelievable. Our install tech Isaac C. was also super awesome and very informative as well. Very little wire visible from his install work which is actually hidden by our couch!??? We are very excited to get to know our security system and see it work. Thank you both and thank you Vivint!

I understand the COVID situation but if your technicians are coming into someone’s home to perform a service I feel as though they shouldn’t be afraid and standoffish to provide that service.. One technician was great... The other one who wore the glasses, had poor customer service. Also I did not get my yard signs or window signs.. Then the technician that installed my door lock did not tell me the code to punch in to unlock my door without utilizing the key... Again I understand the COVID situation but if you're not going to complete the job, next time send a technician who will.

Very pleased. I live in a condo which required a Schlage deadbolt not Kwickset. That was a disappointment as I liked the sleek kwickset design and hard push buttons much more than the big Schlage. Technicians were very skilled, respectful and professional. Doorbell install had no hardwires available and tech had to drill through concrete and steel. Please be aware that condo installations don’t necessarily have the same freedoms as single family homes. As a result, I made two compromises in the system I wanted due to condo restrictions. I didn’t know that the condo front door had the wrong type of deadbolt/doorknob arrangement for the entry lock to be installed and work. I like the simplicity, subtlety and design of your equipment.

We were very pleased with the installation of and orientation to our Vivint Smart Home system. It will dramatically improve our security and efficiency. Installer, Rick **, was very thorough and never pressured. Monitoring panel and remote app easy to understand and use. Would highly recommend.

Angel was courteous and professional. Installation was done timely and relatively cleanly. He was never pushy to get unneeded equipment and even recommended a single sensor instead of two, which would have been overkill. Angel ensure my wife and I understood how everything worked and answered all questions. Very happy with my service.
