Vivint is really where it’s at when it comes to home security and automation nowadays. Everything work together through one app, and they literally have anything you need. HD Cameras, camera doorbells, smart thermostats, electrons door locks, you name it. Customer service and the installation team are amazing. Highly recommended.

Could not ask for a better product and the install tech was extremely helpful and informative. He utilized his experience to ensure we had the biggest bang for the buck. I was told by the installation what was here is what I get when I am a new customer just because what's here at the house. I'm sorry but I am a new customer. Just because of what it was here is left at this house doesn't mean that I don't deserve new things. The deadbolt keeps saying new battery. He put new batteries in it and he's like what I can't fix it so this is how it's going to be for me. That's just lack of customers care and then he broke my personal property. He's like he kept saying he was sorry. It is sad that now my personal property got broke and you know what am I supposed to say. I was just like whatever. That's what I kept saying whatever it's fine. What am I supposed to say? He can't fix it. He broke it. I will not be recommending them to anybody.

Although my technician was late, Paul did a great job. He answered my questions and made sure everything was properly working before he left. He also provided with contact information in case I need to contact him or Vivint for anything regarding my new system.

This is my first time having this alarm system. And I am very please at everything that was done in my home from the tech arrival and the install. He was very professional with everything. I am very pleased with my alarm system right now.

I understand very well that I am responsible for what I write just as the technician was responsible for giving satisfying service when he came out to my home to do installation. For starters, I am very happy with my security investment. Secondly, I thought the technician was very nice and Professional, at first, until he started to make little sly remarks about how small & old my home was. He made me feel as if I had to defend myself by saying other than what he was saying and I don’t think the comments were very appropriate. Also, he kept commenting on how my boyfriend would be happy about my getting the service and equipment placed where I wanted it to be and not where he the technician advised. Even though his advice as a technician may be a logical one. Also, he charged me more for the three security cameras than what I was quoted by the representative who took my order and information when I called for the first time.

I wasn't told this was a 42 month contract. I was under the impression this was only on a monthly basis. He never mentioned a contract. I was also told this was a refund transaction. I felt like he slicktalked me into something I told him I could not afford at this time. I told him I was told before that my credit score wasn't good enough. But yet he made something with and I'm sure my credit the score didn't change.

John was incredibly kind and professional. He took the time to walk me through the entire system in a way that I was able to understand it. The system itself covers all the bases and I will now feel safe and secure in my home. I appreciated John's incredible service so much!

The tech Pedro was very professional and friendly. I asked him to put on shoe booties because I have new flooring. He had no problem doing so. He was very respectful. Everything he was doing he explained to me in detail and he made sure I knew exactly how to work the system before he left. I have a newborn and he was understanding of her naptime so he was very quiet. He made sure not to put unnecessary holes in my walls which was great. I will be ordering more products from this company. Thank you Pedro???? My family and I feel very safe now.

RE: Complaint against Vivint Home Alarm System. I am writing to complain about representative Haile **. On July 14, 2020, Haile **, a representative from Vivint, knocked on my door. She was deceptive in selling me a Vivint Bundle Alarm System. She stated that the overall price of all the items was $2329.20. I agreed to this amount on the system purchase and service agreement. However, on November 25, 2020, a representative of the ADT Alarm alerted me to check my papers since I may have been scammed. I checked the second page on the Schedule of Equipment and Services and realized that I owed a total of $4000 for the equipment bought. My signature and initials on that second page had also been forged. I feel taken advantage of and regret agreeing to transact with this representative. I have attached the transaction documents for your perusal and authentication.

This may classify as a personal issue but I felt annoyed that the apprentice was constantly on his phone texting/ taking notes. Both techs were professional and the lead was very knowledgeable but I did not like that they both needed to go #2. We are all human but in my opinion, professional service personnel should not perform such acts in a customer's home. All in all very satisfied with service.

Yes, I can recommend the technician named Angel **. He was very good and apologetic that he came later, but his boss offered us a 200 dollars credit. I was happy for this. He explained everything and made it easier to understand. 5 stars!!!

Very dissatisfied with how long and unprofessional my install was. On top of that, the salesman took my Ring doorbell with the promise that I would receive a $200 credit on my bill. Have called and was told someone would contact me within 5 days. No call. Sent an email... NO response. It has now been over 4 months. Not happy.

I would 100% refer anyone to Vivint. Not only was the technician helpful, he was very understanding with all my kids running around. Very friendly and patient. Even though it is cold outside, he still came to do his job. He even came an hour early.

There were several small issues with opening the account after purchasing a house with this system already in it. I was told I would have someone walk me thru and I assumed on the phone but it was via text. My system is showing errors that doesn't seem to allow me to fully activate the system. I will have to contact tech support to resolve.

The idea that anyone has to have $3000 upfront before installation can begin with a new system is ridiculous. Equipment costs should be worked into the bill over time. How about people with good credit get the benefit of the doubt and they don't have to pay the total cost of equipment prior to installation? I can buy a house over time but not surveillance equipment.

All went well even changing to wireless contacts and glass sensors. Very helpful with all set up and operating procedures. I would tell friends to use Vivint as their security provider in the future.. My cost stayed close to the same as my old system.

10/10 would recommend. Took a few hours to install but the technician was kind helpful and knowledgeable. The app and system seems super easy to use. The technician even took out some of the old hardware from an old security system.

First, the technician, Jasmine, was fantastic! She explained everything, was professional, respectful of my home and very courteous. I can't say enough about her. My only complaint would be the salesperson that sold me two more cameras did not properly validate the current system. I had an older Sky panel and needed a Smart Home Hub. I didn't appreciate not knowing in advance. Ultimately I paid for that new equipment too. And thanks to Jasmine's multiple phone calls she got me a decent price. As far as the system goes, it's the best I've ever had. It is a robust system that monitors and helps provide security. My girlfriend loves it too. Would have been 5 stars but for the rep issue.

The representative came in very well prepared with his equipment and mask. During the process of setting up the service I had many hiccups with Vivint with the gentleman who installed our service. Make sure he turned all that around making sure I was 100% satisfied with my set up. This rep installer is amazing.

Both the sales agent and the install technician did a great job. Both of them did a great job selling and installing. I would suggest making sure techs have everything needed for the jobs on first go around. I have another appointment for a power supply but other than that I'm satisfied.

The salesman promised he'd get back to us after installation but never did. He also promised we'd get a great deal on WiFi but never heard back. Not good business practice. I don't know if he ever contacted our previous security company to stop their service. I can't afford to pay 2 companies.

Sensors not labeled well and could not tell which ones were working and which were not. Tech support was not any help and after talking to them nothing seems to work the way it was supposed to work. System did not recognized when sensors were closed or open. Could not communicate with the system.

The association who sold and installed the devices have great customer service. They are nice and respectful. The equipment looks high tech but easy to install and easy to maneuver. The guy explained how to work the devices is easy to understand.

We had a great experience with installation today. Technician was very professional and thorough with installation with products we selected. He made sure we understood the billing process and how to use the system once installed. Compared to another alarm company we had right before, we are already onto a great start!

The sales person was super nice, and it was great that the city covered installation. The installation was fast and friendly - and the same day! The system itself is quite nice with the cameras and and app that allows us to lock and unlock remotely. Very professionally done!

I have since learned how responsive the company is when I've accidentally opened a door without disarming the system and how fast help is available from the police department and I suspect the same would be true for the fire department and ambulance service.

The Field Pro Derrick was phenomenal. He explained the paperwork process step by step as well as the setting up the system and the app. His partner came in and hooked up the video doorbell with ease. We are pleased with everything thus far.

My Vivint technician went above and beyond! My work order had somehow gotten messed up and he took his time to fix it and make it right! To Whom it may concern, I would like to cancel my agreement. I am not Satisfied with the workmanship. I realize that I have 3 days to cancel by Colorado law. The wires are showing through my wall and all the cleanup wasn't finished. Also they were supposed to leave a package which I didn't get.

The Tech guy that came to our home was very friendly and knowledgeable of the equipment. He took out time to explain the best setup of the cameras. After everything was installed he went over step by step on how to use the panel and control from your phone.

From the 1st call of inquiry, to the tech keeping in contact about arrival up to the arrival/installation and explaining was above and beyond what we had expected. The system is Awesome, and easy to use. The technician was so knowledgeable of the product and installed it so well! This is the first time a tech hasn't installed my alarm and made a mess! This young man is very courteous, kind, and wore his mask ALL the time. He explained the process very well.

Everything about the process was easy. From talking to the sales rep for the best options for what we wanted to the install technician. Both were very knowledgeable and helpful. Tech took his time and confirmed placement of the panel and sensors before attaching equipment to the walls. He also walked me thru the panel and app. Would definitely recommend to a friend/family. I also really like that it’s cellular so it can not be hacked and we can talk directly to the panel.

The install was excellent and very thorough. He made it very easy on us, definitely happy we chose Vivint. He took us through all of the instructions and did a full walk through to make us feel comfortable with our purchase.

My experience with Vivint has been less than stellar. I have had absolutely no follow-up from the person who sold me the system. He promised he would be in touch after the scheduled installation. I also had conflicting information from the installer and salesman. The young man who installed the system was more informative. I did not receive a yard sign from either of the young men. I have questions but I am not sure who to contact.

The agent and the installer technician were very professional and educated, the agent was very accommodating to my needs and explains the transaction clearly and precisely, the technician is fast and clean. The only disappointment that I have is about the system that it can integrate all my devices but no my siren. I install my siren for a cop recommendation and it works great for me and my neighbors. I wish you could integrate them into your system.

First let me start off with the technician. The technician hit a wire causing a the fuse to switch that controlled my kitchen and pantry. He did this twice, he hit a live wire twice, in my home. After doing so he proceeds to say that it is fine and I don’t have to worry. He is no electrician mind you. So my gut told me this was not fine. I advised him to call a supervisor to get the wire location checked. I, the customer had to find an electrician to come fix the problem he created. Which in fact there was a problem. He hit two live wires in the wall. He was going to leave without even fixing the mess he made. This was a huge safety issue for me and my family. He could have caused a fire.

Love love love the features that come with Vivint's tech. Especially the outdoor cameras that allow you to speak to people from them and the ability to see everything that is going on from our phones. Chad ** set us up and he was fantastic. He helped us put things in the best places to keep the character of our home. We initially went with Simplisafe and are SO GLAD that we switched to Vivint instead!

Ryan was incredibly professional and helpful. Took the time to walk me through any questions I may have, and providing insight towards things I didn’t even consider. Honestly above and beyond support experience. 10/10 would recommend Vivint to any friends/family.
