    When deciding which company to use for home protection me and my wife decided on Vivint. The tech was 3 hours late, bills were wrong, and now I can't even set my alarm system without false alarms!! I have not set my alarm for over a month and I have called 3 times to have a tech come out. First two times they told me everything looks good on there and. It doesn't sound good on my end and is very uncomfortable to have the entire house alarm going off at 2am for no reason. I purchased the door bell camera and it works 25% of the time. The last time I called vivint a week ago I was so frustrated because the guy told me he sees no activity and I told him how is he going to when I don't even set the alarm because me and my wife have 5 children that wake up screaming due to false alarms. He told me now he can have a tech come out but that I would have to pay $49.99 for a service trip??!?

    I have my payment on auto pay and have been paying for a service for months that I haven't even used. You can see the history of usage I just received and email and it states I set the alarm 0 times last month.. All I want is for a tech to come check my alarm and sensors. The sensors are the original ones from the last home owner and the monitor is the same as well. I am tired of paying 53 dollars a month for a service that I am not using!

    Update 10/21/20: 6 days later, numerous phone calls, several escalations to managers, and my 3rd appt fell through again today! So after all my complaining I received a text from one dummy who chose not to respond to me right away because of how I responded to her text. Well excuse me for being irate from feeling unsafe in my new home. And the fact that you chose to disregard me and then follow up a day and half later is unacceptable. And then someone else texted me today asking if he could call me. I was so confused as I had my in person appt already scheduled. Well when my tech never showed up, Alex called me saying he was a supervisor and that he could help walk me through resetting my panel.

    Why on God’s green earth did you incompetent idiots not do that from the beginning. And while he was able to help me reset my panel, I still have no clue as to how to use my equipment, set my alarm, change my thermostats etc.! All because my 3rd appt fell through yet again! So now I have appt 4 set up for a tech to come walk me through using my equipment. This has been the worst experience ever. And to top it off, you guys keep sending me emails to refer family and friends. I have no intent of referring ANYONE to you guys-not even my worst enemy.

    I have never worked with such incompetent and apathetic people in my life. And your refund of my initial deposit and a small credit on my first bill just doesn’t cut it after the countless HOURS I’ve spent on the phone with you and number of hours I have lost sleep because of your lack of service and security. I intend on telling EVEYONE I know to NEVER go with your company and to go with North Star Alarm because they have always treated me well. If it wasn’t for the fact that my new home came equipped with your devices, I would have never gone with you.

    Few days ago: Yallll SUCKKKK! I’m better off staying with North Star security! I called y’all at 3:30 and you guys “set” up an appt for someone to call me at 5 pm to have my currently Installed devices reset! Nobody ever called me! Then I called back and after an hour, I was told someone would call me back. 3 calls later and Now at almost midnight, manager tells me she can’t do anything until tomorrow when I’m scheduled for another appointment. You guys were real quick to collect my $170 deposit and didn’t deliver any services for me. So now I get to spend my first night in my new home worried about how the previous homeowner still has access to my house’s cameras and front door. Way to go Vivint! You suck! #fraud
