My wish is that there was some type of support for the system without having to have service for people who moved in with the equipment already installed.     AWFUL!! I can’t get anyone to call or email me back! System has shut access to my garage door. I have been promised a technician - but apparently no one at Vivint speaks English and I couldn’t get an appointment? This is what the service person told me when I asked him to schedule a technician. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered! Now - the service person is ignoring my calls and texts. I would not recommend this system to my worst enemy. I am about to cancel and switch to ring. This is ridiculous.

He put new batteries in it and he's like what I can't fix it so this is how it's going to be for me. That's just lack of customers care and then he broke my personal property.     I understand very well that I am responsible for what I write just as the technician was responsible for giving satisfying service when he came out to my home to do installation. For starters, I am very happy with my security investment. Secondly, I thought the technician was very nice and Professional, at first, until he started to make little sly remarks about how small & old my home was. He made me feel as if I had to defend myself by saying other than what he was saying and I don’t think the comments were very appropriate. Also, he kept commenting on how my boyfriend would be happy about my getting the service and equipment placed where I wanted it to be and not where he the technician advised. Even though his advice as a technician may be a logical one. Also, he charged me more for the three security cameras than what I was quoted by the representative who took my order and information when I called for the first time.

    They quoted me $79 for three cameras and he the technician quoted me $99 for the same three cameras. However, I really didn’t appreciate his negative comments about my home which is not very old or small to me at all and it shouldn’t matter to him or anyone else. His job was to install the necessary equipment needed and perform the job correctly with a positive and professional attitude. So, regardless of my experience with Vivint’s Technician. I really feel that I’m going to Enjoy my new security system. For future reference, I suggest, if possible, that particular Technician do not return to my home for any apparent reason. Thank you for allowing me to share my comments and I’m so sorry. It could not have been a better rating.

She was deceptive in selling me a Vivint Bundle Alarm System. She stated that the overall price of all the items was $2329.20. I agreed to this amount on the system purchase and service agreement. However, on November 25, 2020, a representative of the ADT Alarm alerted me to check my papers since I may have been scammed. I checked the second page on the Schedule of Equipment and Services and realized that I owed a total of $4000 for the equipment bought. My signature and initials on that second page had also been forged. I feel taken advantage of and regret agreeing to transact with this representative.     First, the technician, Jasmine, was fantastic! She explained everything, was professional, respectful of my home and very courteous. I can't say enough about her. My only complaint would be the salesperson that sold me two more cameras did not properly validate the current system. I had an older Sky panel and needed a Smart Home Hub. I didn't appreciate not knowing in advance. Ultimately I paid for that new equipment too. And thanks to Jasmine's multiple phone calls she got me a decent price. As far as the system goes, it's the best I've ever had. It is a robust system that monitors and helps provide security. My girlfriend loves it too. Would have been 5 stars but for the rep issue.
