Our technician Jon was great. He was on time, respectful (wore his mask the whole time) and very informative. Helped us set up the Vivint app, went over Everything and answered all of our questions. We will certainly recommend Vivint.

Erick ** was my installer. He texted me and arrived promptly. He did a good job explaining everything and showing me how it worked. He made sure everything was working properly and answered any questions I had. I am a senior citizen and not very tech savvy. I would definitely recommend him. Thanks.

Outstanding Customer Service. Vivint technician today, Victory is the best. He earned two bonuses and an increase in pay. Victory, was able to problem solve a new house that was wired without clear markings. He was not going to be defeated. Excellent Job!!!

I decided to call Vivint to request a quote for a security camera system. The sales representative was not really truthful. Once the technician got here, HE was the person that explained everything to me accurately. The technician was the only reason why I didn’t cancel my order. He is the only reason why I would recommend the product.

My experience with Vivint was awesome. They were very informational. They weren’t pushy with equipment or anything. They answered every question. Installation was a clean and fast process. I would definitely recommend to everyone. They save me money with my insurance as well. They were such a big help. I am so excited about the alarm system.

From start (speaking to rep over the phone) to finish (technician) have an overall great personality, friendliness, and a strong desire to make sure you understand everything. We felt so comfortable with the technician (Tyler) who was on time and had his PPE'S on throughout the entire time he was at our home.

Nate came to my home and was just amazing. He was very informative and answered all my questions and my wife's. I contracted ADT last month and I cancelled it 3 days later. It was a bad experience that can be summarized in few words, over promising and under delivering. I consulted my friends and colleagues and they recommended Vivint. It started by talking to a very professional lady called Ms. Alexis (my apology for not remembering the last name) who had all the patience and time to explain to me everything in details. She didn’t cheat or oversell anything. She was so professional saleswoman who made me feel I have all the information I need to decide on anything. Then I met with Mr. Miler ** on the installation day. Again he helped me in a friendly and professional way to decide on some items in the security system. He explained to me the whole process of installation. He troubleshoot all the windows sensors and their wires to make sure that we can use them before deciding to add extra wireless sensors (which are expensive).
Just as a comparison, the ADT technician left three windows in the living room unsecured because he said their sensors are not working and I have to buy wireless sensors (though ADT sales team will tell you don’t have to pay for the equipment if sign 3 years contract). Mr. ** with Vivint ensured all the windows and doors are totally secured. He efficiently installed 3 Cameras and door locks. He also spent some time explaining the whole system to my wife and myself. Overall, I am so happy that I went with Vivint and I am recommending this company to all my friends and colleagues. Khaled **

I am very disappointed with the services I received. I paid for service on Saturday and was told my services would be working. Was never told about a contract or anything. Had a rep call me to activate service only to be asked to pay an additional 54.11 for a month to month plan. Asked for a discount since it was not disclosed and it was not given. Has another representative call me and during our conversation his response to my issues was the phrase “anyways”. I am truly appalled by the way my service was handled. Finally got the activation setup and asked when will the services be working to be told by Daniel he thinks about an hour. It’s like no one knows anything about prices or how this service works.

She didn’t get to fix the problem. I actually fixed the doorbell myself after we hung up. Took it off and programmed through NFC tag. I still haven’t figured out how to reprogram the backyard camera. I took it down but it didn’t do anything so I’ll leave that to the tech.

I like the company but I the salesman did not give the brochure that I requested. So I’m if on if he lied to me or could the company have hidden fees. The technician didn’t wear shoe covering and he step on the carpet without a care in the world. He also didn’t clean up after himself. It was dust and glue left on the counter and floor. He then told me to throw the trash from the equipment away. So if you ask me they need more training. Oh there’s a noticeable hole by the outlet so I will be calling you guys to come fix it!

I have the Vivint System and it has been useful in verifying when something that was shipped has arrived. When I have needed to get help all I have to do is call and they help me to get the system working.

Both the salesman and tech who installed were professional and helpful. We have been able to view the camera while away, set the alarm and lock the door with the code. The only problem we've encountered was with the "Fob" to remotely lock/unlock. It doesn't seem to be working.

I had a system installed and like the easy to use system. My installer was very knowledgeable and clearly communicated about what would be done and other options we could add if we wanted. Overall I am very satisfied with the process Vivint has from start to finish.

Was sold a system but upon installation there a a few things that are incompatible with my home such as garage door motor control mod is incompatible with my garage motor and for Vivints tech to work with it I’d have to replace my perfectly working garage motor and spend more money. This is something that should be checked by sales staff prior to sale and installation. Also there are many issues with door bell camera install as it is powered by my homes existing archaic door bell chime box system that has been gutted from my home long before I lived here. So for this camera to work I now need to pay for electrician to come out and get all the wiring sorted. Again these are things the sales team should be checking before a product is sold to them. The technology itself is great but if it’s not compatible with my home it’s useless to me.
Again the tech is good but these issues need to be addressed to usher in a more seamless conversion to Vivint systems. At this time it is still uncertain if I will even be able to have the doorbell camera installed until electrician (that I am responsible for) can look into it and the garage door module is completely incompatible.

The sales gentleman Timothy was very kind, responsible and good sense of humor. Very thorough with all the details. Installation crew was professional. Very nice with anything and everything. Kyle was early for the appointment which is great he was also very efficient and was well versed in the equipment and helped us to learn the new system which was super easy to comprehend! I’ve been secretly wanting a security system since my husband passed middle of last year.. I almost said no but the sales guy was super funny.. The team who came to install only an hour later was amazing as well..super personable, talked with me... made me feel like I wasn’t just another “job” ya know.. I’ve dealt with a lot of sales people and this has def been one of the best experiences overall I’ve had in a very long time.. def recommend.. Even if you are on the fence they answer any question you may have.. Besides you can’t beat that clear as day video quality I swear it’s like a movie!!

After extensive research online, I chose the Vivint Security System because it is the most advanced in technology and they have very good reviews. The technicians, Stephen and Dennis, were great. They arrived on time, gave me recommendations on what was best for my security needs and they were patient in answering all of my questions and concerns. They finished the job in a timely manner and cleaned up afterwards. I definitely recommend Vivint Security if you’re looking for a company with good customer service and a top of the line alarm system that will help give you peace of mind in securing your home and keeping your family safe.

Worked quickly to get things set up and explained how to use. The only thing is that he didn’t clean up the dust from where he drilled to put in the doorbell. Had a returned visit later in the day by the sales representative.

He took the time to go over the system but I did have questions about the cost but I'm satisfied with the cameras for our family safety. I feel like it needs to be a better bundle package if the price is for 5 years.

I had trouble with sales person initially. The product I ordered kept getting messed up and so did the price. On that I give it a 3 at best. However where it shined was the installer who is also in sales for them. He knocked it out of the park making sure I was happy. I was actually going to cancel. That is how good he was. I’d give him 1000 stars!

I experienced great customer service with Vivint. The tech rep that came to my property did an amazing job. The only thing that prevented me from giving Vivint 5 stars was that they didn't provide me with everything I asked for due to items not being in stock. I wasn't informed of this until the tech rep arrived to my property. Other than that, there were no other issues.

I really love the product. It is so much better than our previous! Our installer was educated, helpful, informative and friendly I will sell or refer this product to everyone I know. I love the camera on the front door and driveway side and I love being able to talk and see who is at the front door.

The only problem that I have with Vivint is that every time I call they have our old address and we have been moved for four years now. I just don’t understand it. I would appreciate it if our information was up-to-date. In case we have an issue they’ll send someone to the wrong address.

I just got my Vivint Smarthome Security system installed and the experience was outstanding! Everybody was professional and courteous and the installation was completed thoroughly and quickly. I moved in to the a new house that already came with Vivint system. Since I didn’t know Vivint, I have ADT installed an alarm for me. After living here for 4 months, I decided to call Vivint to find out more about the functioned system. Throughout the entire conversation with sales rep over the phone, named Nick, I specifically expressed that I already have contract with ADT, that I don’t need another alarm system in my house. And I would like it if Vivint could transfer the previous account owner to my name instead, so I can have access to the door camera. He quickly explained and said “Yes, I just have to pay one time activation & transfer fees” which I paid over the phone $161.28 Order Reference Number: **.
This past Wednesday, a very nice gentleman, Jeff came on time to do the work. Luckily, I brought that situation up before I sign the docs. And he said Vivint is a completed package, I can’t just pay to use Camera only. I will not recommend Vivint, a dishonest business, to any of my friends. Vivint should train their customer rep call center better for a higher quality service. Please don’t lie to client like me, I’m the flesh example. Now I am stuck with 2 alarm systems in my house. If you don’t believe this review. Please check our phone conversation on Saturday night on Jan. 2nd at 10pm when I called in. I hope you can find that record conversation then you will find out how professional of a liar the rep was.

After having a break in where our ADT system failed to perform, we knew we had to switch to a new provider. Vivint set up an install within 2 days of when I called. The tech was clear and communicative and didn’t try to plus sell us on things. So far the equipment has been performing well and the high tech features are great.

I was told a credit check would need to be ran in order to get my mother alarm service. I have been a Vivint customer for several years. My mother was told her existing equipment would be used at no charge and the $2k listed on email agreement was generic. When the technician arrive we were told that amount was the financed amount. I feel totally lied to by rep Craig. Because my mother is older an age she needs alarm service, I felt obligated. 2k in equipment is absurd.

Customer service is horrible, their billing is a mess, the system is somewhat adequate. We kept calling them with issues of the system not arming and their billing being messed up and no responses or assistance. They just didn't understand the issue. They could even see on their end the system would not arm and had not been used! When we asked them to take their system out of the house they refused and said we had a contract and if we broke it we would have to pay for the system (even though the system would not arm and they acknowledged it)! Finally quit paying, they can sue if they want!

This complete ordeal was a mess. I requested to have service for my rental which is out of state. I was told it would be no issues. NOT SO. That was problem number one! After much confusion and hectic issues, which should’ve been resolved before install date, install was completed. BUT, I had reached out to sales rep and to technician regarding billing informing on how I wanted to be billed. Both failed to abide how I wanted billing for equipment and monthly payment. I was very disappointed in the first installer that showed up, not very motivated and disinterested. He left without doing anything, couldn’t get camera in back of house didn’t even try actually, just a 100 reasons why it wouldn’t work. Rescheduled and on 1-5-21 installer Kyle did the whole system, got the back camera installed easily. Thanks Kyle! Happy with the system.

Pretty good system so far. We really like knowing who is coming and going. When we aren’t home we can also remotely lock unlock the door. We also have a water sensor in case we spring a leak and we know if a window is open.

Marian was very helpful with moving the back door camera to the front door and setting up what he could without WiFi - although he did not patch the massive hole in my wall that the previous camera made so now I have to figure out how to cover that up so no bugs or rain water can get in and I don’t hear everyone that passes by my condo.
I was missing a few things apparently (an indoor camera and a glass break sensor, that I can remember) that I assume the previous owner took when they moved. I was disappointed to find out it would be an extra charge to get any of those items replaced, especially since I’m a new customer and already paid $90 something for the first month as a set up charge - shouldn’t I be given a few things to start up with Vivint? I just didn’t realize I would be paying for an install/activation ($90 something) and on top of that would have to pay $200 for window sensors (hard pass - that’s what I pay my HOA each month) and even more for cameras and glass break sensors. I thought that all would be included with the $90 charge because that’s what my parents said they got when they started with Vivint.
He also did not help me change my door code (and I forgot to ask to be fair) so... I don’t know, I guess I’ll have to call Vivint about how to do that along with what to do for an indoor camera since now I just have one at my front door and that’s the only security I have which, living alone, I’m not feeling great about that. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the guy told me his pay would be reduced for anything lower and I’m not mad at him so that’s not fair of me to inadvertently do that to him - I’m mad at the Vivint company for not setting me up as a first time buyer with everything my parents were set up with as first time buyers. It’s not like you’re losing money on me by giving me a camera to put in my house or a glass break sensor. Or even - idk - window sensors on any of the literal 4 windows I have in my condo. Anyway, I’m probably yelling into the wind but maybe this helps y’all in the future to have better customer care.

Our installation technician was Fredy **, he was fantastic. Worked seven hours nonstop to complete job. Replaced two wires that were installed improperly during construction. Went over how the system worked and gave us a detailed user demonstration. Could not be happier with the quality of the system. Camera resolution is clear and crisp. Vivint employee came and installed cameras on the doorbell and driveway that have deterrents on them. My only complaint is that he came late in the evening and was here until after 10 pm. The system works great though. The video images it captures are clear and easy to see. We get text messages right away when the deterrent comes on. The driveway camera captures all the way to the neighbors across the street.
