Mike was helpful, patient, informative. We are older and our tech savvy is lacking, but he showed us how to do things and offered his services anytime we need it. We asked so many questions and I felt we were taking up his time but he assured us everything was fine and he wanted us to feel comfortable.

The install tech Chris, did an awesome job. No mess left behind, very patient as far as explaining how to operate the system. My fiancé & I are very pleased with the work he did. We feel much safer, knowing out home will be secure even in our absence. Alex, our sales rep did an amazing job explaining how everything works & helped come up with a package deal that is more then affordable.

This is a great system! The Sales rep and system tech did an amazing job. We very pleased with the sales pitch and demonstrations. The system tech arrived on time and was very friendly. They both walked us through everything before and after the installation.

My first tech never showed up. The new tech who came today was phenomenal. He took his time to let me know what was going on and he made sure everything he could do was done. The only thing I need now is my camera hooked to my phone, but that wasn’t his fault. It was more of a cable issue. Thanks a million.

My technician did a phenomenal job of installing. He was very kind and helpful. He made sure we understood how to use the app, connect to Alexa, and use the panel. He was very personable and even took time to pet the dog and talk to my son about Harry Potter.

Vivint in a first class home security company. I was very impressed with my installer Fernando. He was polite and gracious, very conscientious about the COVID situation, even wore shoe covers. He gets an exceptional rating, in client care. After about 2 minutes I knew he was tech-savvy and at the top of his game. He clearly explained the steps of the security package that I purchased. We did a walkthrough to determine proper placement of cameras and sensors, etc. Installation went smooth and Fernando teaches me how to efficiently use my new system. He then makes sure everything is good before exiting the property. I’m very happy with my Vivint system, very clean and accurate. Thank you!

The salesman, who is pretty new, did a nice job, the installer a young lady was polite and knowledgeable. Both did a nice job. It's nice to see two young people work hard. The installer was fast and helpful in positioning the equipment, and assisted in removing so old equipment we had mounted. Fast and friendly service was provided by both.

I was VERY happy with A.J.'s performance. He was very professional and informative. I left Vivint to go with Northstar. BIG MISTAKE!! I am coming back to Vivint where I will remain. Mr. A.J. has a good spirit and that alone made me feel good about my decision to come back to Vivint.

Our technician Kevin was literally the best! After I missed our appointment., Kevin doubled back just to make sure we got the install that we needed. He was extremely knowledgeable and his efforts on behalf of Vivint made me want to switch my home security system from ADT to Vivint.

When I called to set up account I was never told that activation would be a phone call. I have never had an alarm NOT set up in person. During the call the man asked us to take the motion detector front off. We couldn’t get it off. We asked why we didn’t get a technician out here. He said it would be $50. We paid $50 for that phone call. He is having someone come today now but we better not get charged another $50. Thank you! Otherwise I think we will like the system.

Friendly people, gave me a quote less than 15 minutes, was able to install the same day and had equipment needed as well for the home. I.e. needed smoke detectors and they had them. Easy set up and went through how it worked less than 10 minutes and everything seems to be working great.

The sales person was clear to the point, usually I would have rushed a door sales away, John presented himself well and I felt safe...the installer was respectful and I feel pleased with the installation....I feel secure, at ease and I believe my transfer from ADT was a good decision thus far and I hope to soon transfer my home in Louisiana also...I'm happy to know I am also saving money with my upgrade to Vivint.

Ryan was VERY HELPFUL, installation took a while but he got straight to work, after we decided exactly what I needed. Customer service could do a better job of having the installer PREPARED. We spent about 40 min. reviewing what I actually needed. Installer walked me thru service and system, NO PROBLEM.

The young man who explained everything to us was pleasant, polite, and patient. The installer was also polite and patient, and caring about his work. Both were patient in explaining to us as we sometimes needed to go over something again. They are a credit to their company.

Vivint is a great home security system. However, they installed my system on 30 December 2020. Then, they contacted us to say that our system wasn't activated. The only way they can activate it, a technician has to come to the house again. Then, they realized we had 2 accounts created in the system.

I had my system installed on yesterday and so far, I am loving it. The outside camera views are excellent. I love being able to control my thermostats from one location. All the smart stuff is awesome! I would highly recommend them!

My driveway camera goes out often and all they have done is talk me through a reboot but then it goes out again. Had a blaring false alarm at 4:00am. Nothing on camera. When I have called to ask for a technician to come to the house to check out the equipment the CSR just talks me in to going through the reboot process with them. This shows that they are not listening to the needs of their customers.

Cole provided information about Vivint services and equipment. The sign up process was explained fully. The features for all devices were explained. All benefits for switching to Vivint were explained. My payments for Vivint will be significantly lower in the long run compared to the previous company I was using. Installation went well. Performance of all equipment has been satisfactory.

Greatest experience from the very individual I spoke to, the young lady that called to set-up appointment, followed by a young man to confirm appointment. The cherry on top was the tech doing the installation. Steven was very professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend your company in a New York second. I made 4-5 appointments to activate my panel. 3 of those appointments never called. The others called me, way past the scheduled time. My account also never showed work orders for the appointments, so every time I called to ask about the schedule, Vivint would say that there was never a scheduled appointment.

To be clear, the technician was wonderful- this is not a complaint on him at all. Dealing with The support team at Vivint is however the worst experience I have had as a customer. Long waits, transferred to different people only to have to explain the issue to each one- then finding out each one has to transfer me to someone else. Over 4 calls, I have probably wasted 6 hours of my life- thanks for that. To top it off, I got an additional charge of $50 today for no apparent reason. I did not authorize this. Please refund this amount. If not, you can refund everything I’ve paid so far and cancel my service.

I love the system. I initially wanted doorbell camera so that I could see who is at the door; however, I installed a home security system. I like that it tells me when a door is open which is great for homes with small kids. I love being able to manage the system from my smartphone. It’s an amazing system! Customer service was very responsive when I called with an issue. A technician will be sent back to my home for resolution. I am very happy I chose Vivint!!!

I feel the employees work off commission as well, or at least the technicians do. Two have already come to my house and both trying to add on things I don’t need. Along with one leaving my attic entrance open and the light on. I don’t have a 10ft ladder to get to my attic, being I just moved in. Now I have to wait 24 hours for someone to come turn off the light in my attic and close it. Not happy with this company at all.

The guy that came to update our panel was great. Whoever set it up didn’t do it right and we ended up having to call after he left because they were charging us a $99 dollar set up fee when they said it would be $45-49 dollars. Once we got that taken care of I think we are good. It was just a hassle getting it all worked out.

Customer service was patient and understanding as I flip flopped between security companies. He was additionally helpful with troubleshooting my phone to determine why I was unable to connect to the App Store. Because wifi is not yet set up, he showed me from his own app how to manage different features hopefully, making the setup easy for me. All around satisfied with my decision to switch from ADT where I felt like sales was the priority sometimes!

Jon was great in explaining the benefits of having a Vivint Smart Home system in our home. The camera quality is great and we absolutely love it. I have heard about Vivint before as I have the service at my own home. But this was to be installed at my mom's after having been robbed and her house ransacked. ZACK was very professional and knowledgeable. He made my mom feel very comfortable. Even if Zack was your only rep your company would be very successful because of him. So if you can add water to ZACK to multiply like gremlins get on it!

I must say first when I spoke with Alex (sales rep) I was wonder if this was a hacked situation but he made me comfortable and he was patient and knowledgeable. When Devonte (technician) came out it sealed the deal.. I had so many questions and he took his time and assisted. He didn't show that I was iterating him or bothering him. Nate, a young man of 19 years, approached me when I was outside, but maintained significant distance, which helped me know he meant me no harm. He was very personable and professional, presenting Vivint as a company and moving through the presentation quickly and easily, answering questions and providing evidence on his iPad. He asked about 10-15 minutes into the conversation if I would mind letting him into the house, to sit at a table to continue his presentation. At first I declined, so he stepped a few feet back and continued the presentation. I noticed he was having a little trouble handling his iPad, and finally allowed him in. He was very courteous and polite, accompanying me to the table and patiently waiting as I pulled out chairs for us, staying in one position until I was ready.
As we sat and talked, Nate called in the Regional Manager, Ty, who arrived not long after, introduced himself, and joined us at the table. He was exceptionally personable and professional, answered all of my questions arising from his presentation, and kept Nate in the conversation, having him look things up on the internet and asking him to explain some things. The presentations they both gave and the Internet/Vivint displays they provided were very compelling. But it was the cost, along with the zero % interest rate, that sealed the deal. I was excited when they left, and an installation team had just arrived!
Drew and Jacob made an excellent installation team, working quickly and communicating very briefly when necessary. They were also very personable, joking with me intermittently and explaining things clearly. They had to come back in a day or two, to get the system tied to the Internet, but I had camera warnings and video footage the first night!

When I called for information on the security system the customer service rep was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. And it was all how he said it was, including accurate pricing. I was not provided info or contract specs that I agreed to on the phone outlining the equipment and financial terms. The number of cameras and sensors to be installed by tech were less than I requested. Installation took more than 10 hours, three contract revisions, and difficulty getting doorbell camera to perform as it should. However, the technician remained calm and courteous throughout the process.

The Installer should have worn a mask. My back blind fell half down he should have told me because I don’t know how to fix it, I tried. In my other bedroom the window was left half crack. I had the alarm on when I closed the window the alarm went off I panicked. Then I ran up front to turn off the alarm and someone called to see if I was okay.

Customer service and sales experience was very helpful and great. I love the equipment and the warranty. I had ADT which I was paying 50 a month with no cameras but with Vivint my payment is 20 more with a camera which I was grateful. Megan the salesperson was easy going and informant with the product. Issac who installed was amazing. He was so patient and help us through the process. I recommend to my family and friends.

VERY impressed with Ryan. He is professional, well spoken, kind and courteous. Unusual for a young man this day and age! Oscar, Ryan’s trainee, was very nice, too. I’ve only had the security system a few hours. Love the 2 cameras and digital keypad, which they were able to install over my ugly phone jack. The whole team was very professional and courteous. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing customer service from the initial call to the insulation. We have had other very recognizable alarm companies in the past and Vivint has been by far the easiest to work with. It needs to be mentioned at time of scheduling the appointment that the finance holder must be home to complete the paperwork. My husband wasn’t home and with him being an officer and not eligible to get to a phone or computer this appointment didn’t go smooth. There was an hour delay.

The technician was amazing!!!! Not once did he make me feel like I was bothering him with the bombardment of questions I had for him! On top of that I made changes mid way and he did not once get upset or sound irritated instead made me feel like a king. The tech was professional and kind. Just class act! The one complaint I have is the salesman and techs do not communicate very well. I’m also needing to talk to Tanner the salesman again because I paid $51 instead of 21 to receive an extra $200 off. If this can be taken care of it’s 5 star rating.

The security system only works part of the time. A lot of it depends on your Internet and the speed of your Internet. If you have any problems with the system you have to be home before they can reset anything and you may be on the phone with them for hours as they have you continue to try different things from their panel on your wall. So if you happen to be out of town and something goes wrong with the cameras or the system in general and you don’t have someone who can go to your house and be on the phone with them the security system is worthless. Also every five years when your contract or the payment that you’re paying them expires you have to purchase all new equipment because they do not support any equipment that is over five years old. Even though they tell you there’s a lifetime warranty on all the equipment.

I decided to go with Vivint over ADT, and couldn’t be happier. Not only was Jason (the installer from Vivint) consultative. I would go as far to say that he went above what I would expect from any installation professional. The security solution itself does everything I expected it to, but @ a lower cost than some of the other vendors I contacted.

After local car prowling incidents we decide to look into home security. It was amazing how many companies and options are out there. After calling Vivint all of our questions and concerns were addressed in a timely and professional manner. On the installation date we were consulted with every step of the way. They did a great job with the installation and even cleaned up. Our tech did an excellent job walking us through the system. Ultimately you get what you pay for. Although Vivint was a bit more expensive I feel like they have my family's best interest in mind and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a trusted security group.

The system works great. The front door camera catches everything that comes in contact with it, even the bugs activate it. It is nice to know that your package has arrived and you can keep an eye on it until you get home. The camera in the house is the same way. If others have keys to your house, you can monitor who comes and goes as they deactivate and activate the alarm. The only problem I have had is, sometimes as you are leaving home the WiFi acts up and it takes a while to activate the alarm.

The salesman seemed to know enough about the company to tell us abut the services. However, he did not explain the service agreements time requirement. We were told that we could cancel at any time. What he didn't tell us was that we have a 60 month contract and if we stop the service, we have to pay 50% to 100% of the time left on the contract. If we had known this, we would have thought it over more. The installation crew, Cade and Cole, did a wonderful job installing the equipment, The cables that were necessary were installed in a very professional manner. They explained to us how to use every part of the system.

I called Vivint as a new client in December because the home we bought included a Vivint monitor. Upon recommendation from Vivint, we landed on Turn Over agreement which took several phone calls. The installers came today and told me I needed to purchase a new panel — that the old panel was not connecting to the police station. This was quite a surprise. The new panel cost was quite high which I was unprepared for so I requested to talk to a manager to get clarity on the current devise’s limitations. Four hours later, I feel unsettled about the service that I feel bamboozled into agreeing to. It seems like poor training all around and the company was not reflected well from any of the employees I talked with. It was a rocky way to start a contract with any service company but especially one specializing in security.

Eldon was pleasant yet efficient in installing the system. We have an older home which added difficulty for him. He was patient and took time to explain what he was doing, what was needed and then went over the operation with enough detail so we were as comfortable as possible with the system. When I called on the phone, Kody told me I can have 3 smart pad at our house. I agreed to pay for the higher monthly fee and pay off upfront. When tech came, he said that's not possible to have three of them. (Tech has very good service.) It's a big mistake to order the service on the phone!!!
