He took extra time to explain the digital application and installed it on my phone. I would definitely recommend Vivint to others. Excellent service!!

Charles made the activation process easy and he was very efficient. They were in and out in about 2 hours for the complete installation and walkthrough of the system. Very professional and efficient in their work. We were especially impressed by the fact that they asked for a broom so they could clean up shavings and pieces from any holes drilled. Our house is brand new and doesn’t have internet yet, so the fact that we can have a home security system of this caliber without it is awesome. They forgot that a specialist has to do the smoke detectors in Texas, so they have a return appointment scheduled for later this week. Overall very positive experience.

Shene and Colby did a great job installing my whole system. They gave me really good information, taught me how to use it, were quick and efficient, and very thorough. They had difficulty locating a wire and did not give up until they found it. Friendly and helpful guys. I’m just getting used to the system but I like what I see so far

I just hated I couldn't have two doorbell cameras. That would been great especially while running a business from home.

We got it installed last night and the technician was an awesome guy. Very polite and very efficient in what he does. He finished installing everything and went to close his work order and could not so we called and was told we did not have the finance application. That it was lost or missing so we spent about an hour and half on the phone with them dealing with that and had to redo the whole process and it took till 1130 at night in doing so. So I would say this was a very bad first impression of Vivint so far.

Great service and setup. The technician and sales team were pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable. Equipment seems to be well built and the technology more robust than our last system. We hope it is reliable for years to come.

My overall experience was positive with Vivint. My initial appointment was a no show but the field manager insured my next appointment was successful. The. Installer was fast, knowledgeable and provided thorough training of the system. I would recommend to those looking for an effective and dependable security system.

The technician was friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. He arrived within the accurate time frame and thoroughly explained how to use the system. He even let me add on additional security measurements, I hadn’t previously requested based on his perception of the layout of the home. He even swapped out the thermostat I selected to save me money AND have it be compatible with the system I selected.

Best equipment, fair pricing, but our Installer was efficient, cordial, clean and professional. Top notch! By the way, the latest camera picks up audio from across the street. Insanely good! It’s a great feeling to extra secure in your own home.

My tech was on time and very professional, he was very patient with and kindly answered all my questions. We had to call customer service about some billing questions and they were exceptional as well. I have no problems recommending this company to anyone as they have really come through for me.

System doesn’t work, tech doesn’t understand the problem, I need someone who can fix it. Can’t operate the system or find the problem. Doors are offline, repeater the many connected, tells me that’s a different department, I have two main units and he doesn’t know why. I asked for a tech to come to my house and that was denied. I need help to fix or you can come get it off my porch.

The technician was amazing and very friendly. We really appreciate his friendliness and professional demeanor. From beginning of job to the end, he explained what he was doing. He trained us on using the products. I just can’t say enough good things about him.

DJ was our tech and he was incredible! He was patient and super knowledgeable. He made this process easy to understand even for us non tech-Savvy people. So far Vivint is crazy user friendly and I’m excited about having easy access to our cameras and not having to re-charge them.

Install was very professional and done fairly quickly. Everything was explained very well and showed me how to work everything. My sales person was very helpful also and explained options and features very well. Tech also left with cleaning everything up and boxes stacked neatly out of the way.

Lester And Cindy provided excellent sales service and the installer Jason ** was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He was very efficient and made sure that everything worked and confirmed that I had a full understanding of how it all works. Because of each of them, I will always trust Vivint with my home protection and care.

System doesn't work. Phone app won't load. Disappointed in the installation process. The deadbolt locks but doesn't unlock. Can't load the app from the links as the password was never able to be instituted. Very disappointed. Why would this be a situation to deal with.

Good system love the app and service seems great. The tech was friendly and very helpful with my questions. The front doorbell is awesome and the back camera really does keep the house slot more secure when my girls are here alone.

Adam & Oliver were pleasant. Very clear, patient in explaining everything we need to know. Neat workmanship on installation. Conveniently scheduled, well located the control panel. Good features for choices of things that doorbell sensor can do. Didn't take up much of our time.

Our technician, Roden was very informative and personable. He was able to install our security system and answer all of questions that we had. It did take a while for our doorbell camera to work, but Roden took his time to figure out what was wrong and switched it out for a new one and it worked. I would definitely recommend him and Vivint to a friend.

Thought salesman said my Brinks had been bought out. Now I think I have a much better product. When we use it more I think we will like it even more. My 88 year old husband who is prone to be forgetful worked it by himself the very first day. If the total monthly payment is 60.00 we will be very happy! We have yet to decipher all the paperwork but will get to it.

Changed my home security system from ADT to Vivint and experienced immediately satisfaction with my decision to change. The technical skills and quality of the service exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend Vivint to everyone. The quality of the system and the ancillary devices far exceeded the functionality of the services and devices provided by ADT. More importantly, the cost of the monthly fee was lower than the yearly increasing cost of ADT.

The installer Sean who's awesome he went beyond Call of Duty. I really like the system and being non tech-savvy he really made it easy for me. He's a big asset to your company. He showed up on time. He was very professional and very respectful.

On the day of 03/13/2021 Andrew ** came and did my instillation. Andrew was very friendly, and amazingly helpful. He answered all questions I had to the best of his knowledge. Andrew kept his mask on the entire time and still practiced social distancing. He did an awesome job with making sure his job was 110% complete and perfect before he left.

Installation tech was very friendly and went over how the system works. System seems very user friendly. My daughter has the Vivint system and in the Vivint app I am able to toggle between her system and mine, I love that feature.

Door lock. Two cameras, two door lock. Split my door. He split one of my door hinges and took off the metal clips that hole that go on the door and left bare wood on both doors bare wood. I like the system but it could’ve been done better lot.

The installation person was very professional, polite, and friendly! I watched him throughout most of the installation process and he was very quick and thorough. He explained everything to me regarding how the system operates both at the main control pad and on the app on my smartphone. Again, thank you very much Vivint!

Took between 2 - 3 hours for simple installation. Techs were very polite, but didn't seem to have much expertise. They had to keep calling supervisor for more instructions. I would rate their service about a C- to a D+.

Our installation with Smart Home Pro Caleb went great. He installed 12 sensors, a doorbell cam, panel, outdoor cam, motion sensor, and glass break sensor in a very timely manner and very efficiently. Downloaded the app but can't get into it, because it's asking me for a password and won't send a link to set one. My home is not armed as of yet and have no clue what to do next without access to the app.

I feel the need to review my experience with Vivint in two separate areas: the actual product, and the sales tactics used to sell that product. So far, the product seems fine. It seems to work well, and it is something we were interested in purchasing. However, I did not feel that the sales tactics were honest and forthright. The sales tech told us that we would be given all of the equipment and installation for free as an example home to help them sell their product in our neighborhood. He said they would be coming through our neighborhood tomorrow trying to sell their doorbell camera and having their sign in our yard would help them to do that. He said that they would only be doing free equipment and installation for three houses in the area and the deal was TODAY ONLY.

Very unhappy with the install. He did not do the things he said he was going to do nor did he do it in a timely manner. Taking him three times to come out. Install 3 cameras, glass break infection in front and back door monitor. Leaving trash around the house instead of taking it with him when he left. Making promises he could not keep. Lyft camera that was supposed to be put up in my room with the monitoring system. Left on desk in the living room with wires just hanging everywhere.

The boys were wonderful. They worked in the rain. They answered all my questions. I would recommend your agency. They reviewed all the features they installed for me and how to use them. Of course at my age they had to do that several times. I feel safe in my home!

The installer was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. He cleaned up all the saw dust and sheet rock dust. When finished he went over all the features and explained how to use them. He made suggestions on how to start with a general setup and then program custom settings.

Technician came and installed outdoor camera and door lock with no issues and respected household well by wearing a mask due to Covid 19. The reps explained everything and went over all costs associated for each scenario I came up with. The technician worked quickly and cleanly, and walked me through the system as soon as it was online and connected.

Positive and helpful attitude from our technician. I felt like he had our best interest at heart. He made adjustments we asked for and made you feel like it was a good idea, and reassured if we wanted them later, he would be happy to help out. Good team work when devices were not operational. A slight question about our garage door not opening from the app when we ask for it but we will call in about that. Overall good experience!

He arrived on time went over the details of installation before he began and then proceeded, leaving no mess upon completion. I was shown how to operate the system by him hands-on very.

Took his time to explain to me the process on how the security system works. Made sure everything was up to date and if previous equipment was placed incorrectly he made sure to adjust it. 1 of the door chimes was not leveled, the motion sensor was not screwed in and he made sure the laundry door was secured as well.

The overall experience was excellent. From time of arrival which was quick for both the representative and technician. We asked a lot of questions and everything was answered immediately and with confidence, which in turn makes us confident in our purchase. The products themselves are well before their time in my opinion, just great quality. Anyone not using Vivint is missing out.

Our installer was amazing! Everything from install to teaching was a wonderful experience! The equipment is easy to use and the cameras are perfect! The installation was done with pride. Clean up was done. No mess and cords are hidden.

The technician was very knowledgeable and helpful. So far the service is everything I expected for a decent price. The technician uninstalled the previous equipment to install the new equipment. He asked what I wanted as far as camera placement and did a very good job.

System appears to be working as promised. Installers Cody ** and Jacob did an excellent job installing with explanations throughout the installation. Family feels more secure with this system. The keypad and features go way beyond the competition for comparable price. The warranty and support are top notch.

We had our Vivint panel system updated. We tried doing it over the phone but someone has to come do it in person. Person arrived promptly at 4:30. I believe the young man's name was Matthew. He was a nice gentleman but seemed a little rushed to explain us with full detail.

The representatives Trenton and Levi were a great help. They came Monday afternoon and explained in detail each of the equipment Vivint has to offer. They also answered all of my questions providing extra information. When checking for a date on the technician to be available it was amazing that they were available that same day within 30 minutes of Trenton and Levi leaving the technician John ** arrived and had everything up and running for me within a few hours. Overall it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend Vivint for all your home security needs.

Our tech was great, but there was a lot of complex administrative stuff that had to happen before the tech could do anything. Given the 4 hour installation time window, having this (which included review of numerous disclosures and a video guided survey I could not skip through) right at the beginning of the installation window and was tough. I had to leave an important virtual meeting to walk through 20 minutes of admin stuff - if I had been able to do this at the end would have made for a much better experience.

I wanted to pay off my equipment. 30 minutes on hold. Verification process needs to be updated. I can't memorize every security password. There needs to another avenue. Due to the customer service agent's accent I ripped her a new one when she told me that the only way she could help was was with the password and I could not understand she was trying to tell me she could email the password. She then put me on hold permanently. I can understand why. She has a tough job. Verification process needs to be updated. I still need to pay my equipment off. Additionally, you have a walk in store where I can't make payments. Why do you even have a store? The customer service with Vivant had been disappointing and I am trying to give you money. I would have thought you want to make that easy, instead I get stuck in telephone hell.

The representative and installer of the Vivint security system have both been courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable of the system. We (the homeowners) are still getting familiar with all of the options of the security system and are very pleased. The representatives have made us feel welcome to ask questions. I am a senior product designer here at Vivint and I needed to have a full system installed so that I can see how everything works. I also needed to shadow the technician to understand their process and pain points. Collyn was very informative and he seemed like an expert on the installation. He was quick, kind and I think he deserves a raise.

After 2 no shows and 2 rescheduled appointments —— The installer left a mess, drilled the latch slot in my door seam but didn’t even install the latch. Just a big hole with wood dust everywhere. Walls left dirty and system is not even working properly. Not the best experience so far. :(

I called on a Friday and installation came the following Tuesday. It took about 2.5 hours to install all of the equipment and then I was walked through the flat panel screen and my cell phone application. I couldn’t be happier with this process. Easy to understand and was set up for me.

Wonderful tech named Mike came to my house, made sure everything was working as I bought existing equipment with purchase of house. However He could not access a second order that a salesman named Remy forced on me saying I was a new customer. A rep named Cindy saw the second account when I called for a new appt because the tech Remy ordered never showed up. She promised me that the $160 something that Remy insisted I pay in advance on my American Express card would be refunded/credited back. I would like a written confirmation of that as the good tech Mike could not find it on his computer.

Rayvon was very helpful today! He was at my house in a timely manner, he answered all my questions, and was very friendly! He helped set up my app which was very helpful. He was able to save us money by finding out that the wires were hooked up to a different system.

My service was exceptional. My questions were answered and my home was respected during installation. Justin called after installation to be sure all went well. Blake did an excellent installation and explanation of how to use the service and install on my phone. There was one problem with the keypad to enter my internet password. Vivint does not have a comma on the keypad and I had a comma in my internet password. Blake had to go to the router to connect. He made it all happen although I could not enter my password due to no coma. I armed my system last night and even though I feel safe in my home, there was a more secure feeling. Thank you.

I had a terrible experience with Vivint home security system installation. To start, the technician was an hour late and stayed an hour over. This is time I did not plan for and it was very inconvenient as I had plans. He did not offer me any advice on which products to install where and instead left me, a person who has never had a security system, in charge of choosing where and what sensors were installed. I was told by the representative that Vivint would uninstall the current (nonfunctional) system, but he refused to take down any of that equipment. He then began installing the smart hub in the middle of my wall, a location we had not decided upon. I was able to stop him before he made any permanent installation but I would have much preferred him ask before choosing a random location in my home.

From top to bottom everything was tiptop! From the sales team to the install. And best of all. No surprise fees. Couldn't be happier. I can't say enough good things about Vivint as far as sticking to their word. Take a chance with them and you won't be sorry.
