Do NOT use this company!!! They had a sales associate order the wrong appliance package for me and now that sales associate is no longer there and the store will NOT make it right! Their stance is I should have known the serial numbers that their associate was putting in was the correct ones! How would I know that??? Their only resolution to me was pay a 20% restocking fee for items I never ordered in the first place and then if I wanted to order the correct items, I’d have to pay another delivery fee. Shame on you Appliance Direct, shame on you.

The owner of the Palm Bay Appliance Direct whose name is Jeff was a real pleasure to do business with. He has been in business there for 12 years and I could not believe the ease and how swiftly we had our dryer loaded, paid for and on our way! For an older guy he is very strong, very friendly and professional and helpful. I told him I would leave a good review for him and would be back to see him next time we need an appliance. He operates the way every appliance store should and his customer service is superlative!

I bought a dryer today and had to take it back the same day because it didn't work. I'm glad I paid cash and had my receipt so I got a refund. It was new in box and still did not work!! Don't buy anything here. It is a scam!!!

I bought a washer and dryer about a month ago from here and the dryer took a crap on me within the first 2 weeks of using it. I called for someone to come put and fix other, they came out and said it was one small problem that they can fix. Well then they said it was the motor, and the first time they came out, it took about a week to come and look. After they said it was the motor, we had to order it, and they came out today and changed the motor but then tells me something else is wrong. I haven't been able to fully wash my clothes for almost a month now. Not only that they seem to not care about this problem, and they don't want to do anything about it.

On January 31, 2025 I purchased a Maytag washing machine from Appliance Direct, located at 1532 Nova Road in Daytona Beach, Florida. Unfortunately, upon delivery, the washing machine was found to be in a non-working condition. While the unit successfully powered on, it failed to perform its primary function—washing clothes. Appliance Direct scheduled a third-party service provider, RR Appliance Services, Inc., to inspect the unit. After a thorough diagnostic test, the technician confirmed that the washing machine was inoperable. The diagnosis revealed multiple error codes, indicating both hardware and software damage. During the inspection, the technician also mentioned that Appliance Direct receives the highest number of repair calls compared to other vendors.

Due to the fact that I was delivered a defective and inoperable unit, I requested a full refund. However, instead of honoring my request, Appliance Direct opted to provide me with a replacement of the same model. In an effort to escalate my concerns, I submitted a written grievance to the district office of Appliance Direct. Despite this, I never received a response via phone or email. After making two follow-up calls to the store, I was finally informed that my case was under review.

The lack of professionalism and failure to properly address my concerns made this an extremely frustrating experience. Based on my encounter, I would never recommend Appliance Direct to anyone. Instead, I strongly suggest purchasing appliances from reputable retailers such as Home Depot or Lowe’s, where customers can expect better service and accountability. Due to Appliance Direct’s poor handling of this matter, I have also filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to document this issue.

Had Brock as a sales guy who was informative and helpful. He quotes us a firm price on a stove and recommended the specific stove and knocked $10 off when I asked for a veteran discount. After agreeing to this price, he began pushing a 4-year extended warranty - repeatedly stating that the warranty was $70 and that amount is refundable after 4 years if you don't use the warranty. Nope! Funny games started here. I figured why not, it's only $70. My wife paid Brock at the counter while I prepped the SUV for the stove. Get home and I notice the invoice had $129.99 (plus tax making it $138) for the $70 warranty Brock talked us into. Went back to the store the next day and spoke to manager Rob - who is guaranteed to piss you off and give you a headache. Made it clear to him that we no longer wanted the warranty (bait & switch from $70 to $138) and that he should credit my credit card back for $138.

Rob had every trick in the book up his sleeve to deceive the customer - stating he would only refund half of that cost back to me. Huh? Forcing a product onto the customer when they don't want it? Great business model, Rob. He stated that the price of the stove was adjusted downward, when I agreed to the extended warranty. Huh? Makes no sense - I agreed on a specific price for the stove with Brock. More senseless babble from Rob and him insisting he will only refund half of the $138. Then Rob says something like, "Oh crap, Brock already invoiced the order, he is making it hard for me". I told Rob, imagine how we the customer feels. Rob says, "let me see what I can do". At the end, he only credits $97 and change back to the credit card, of the $138 bogus extended warranty charge. What the hell? Where does Rob come up with these numbers, and deceptive excuses for how they mischarge the customer?

20 minutes later, I call Rob and insist he do the right thing and credit me the remaining amount - else I will dispute the incorrect portion of the total charge. Rob panics at this point and immediately credits me the remaining amount. Why put a customer through this nonsense, Rob? Do you need the money that badly? Why would you treat customers like dog poop? Why would you insist they have a product that they make clear to you that they don't want? Such a sleazy, used car salesman style, of doing business by Rob at Appliance Direct. Sad and pathetic. I DON'T recommend doing business here due to deceptive charging practices and disregard for customer satisfaction.

I received incredibly good and "World Class" service yesterday from Salesman Derek ** at the Appliance Direct store in Melbourne Florida when I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator. I had called the store in the morning and spoke with Derek who was very knowledgeable, very quick and empathetic on the phone and the same World Class qualities when I later went to the store in person. It was so refreshing to buy a product that I wanted in such an easy, pleasant and rapid way. I congratulate Appliance Direct for having such a great employee and for the World Class buying experience that Derek ** showed me. I highly recommend Appliance Direct. Thank you. Richard **

The Indian Trail / Charlotte, NC location is operated and overseen by a repeatedly arrested (alleged) conman named Mert **. My experience with Appliance Direct involved a used washer and dryer that were delivered relatively fast, but as others have expressed, they did not work. At first glance they didn't look like the ones that I had purchased, but the delivery was so late it was dark. I wasn't sure until the next morning when I went to do laundry. Not only did they not work, but were filthy as if they were taken out of someone else's home prior to arriving at my home. Multiple calls and texts to Mert ** produced many promises, but no results. It takes a special type of person to prey on older people with no remorse. Any positive review you read on here is most likely planted. If you search for "Mert ** arrest" you will find the evidence you need to draw your own conclusion.

I bought a washer at the Merritt Island location. I brought it home rather than delivery because I needed it. I hooked it up and the washer did not work. The store was closed so I called at. 8:30 when they opened. I was told couldn’t return it because I had opened it and plugged it in so it was considered used. They couldn’t send anybody out to repair it. Had to go through Maytag. The guy that I talked to insisted that because I had installed it myself it was installed wrong and that was the problem. After a conversation of his I installed it he still insisted I did it wrong. He did get the repair set up for Monday. I actually looked at a refrigerator last night and had planned to go back and get it. But not after this. I have bought multiple appliances there but this is definitely the last one I buy there.

The appliances may have been damaged and then repaired and sold as new. That is probably why they are cheaper. I purchased a refrigerator from Appliance Direct and the automatic ice maker started leaking after a few months. The repairman said the refrigerator water lines were repaired with a cheap glue sealer and the unit overheated and now needs to be replaced.
