I saw American Standard advertised on TV and I know they've been making toiletries and bathtubs for years. They have the long-term experience and they’re reliable also. The sales rep wasn't pushy or didn't try to dunk the product on me. He was very understanding and professional. The installer was great as well. He came in and was done within a couple of days. So far I’m very satisfied with the tub and I haven't had a moment’s problem out of it. Having it relieves a lot of problems if you’re older and you can’t lift your legs up. It’s easy getting in and out, it functions well and it’s reliable.
Thank you for your kind words, Henry. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.

I purchased a Liberation walk-in tub less than a year ago. 4 months ago, I had some issues with electronics and massage control on tub. I described as best I could on phone what the problems were and they sent parts to my house and technician fixed the one issue but wrong part was sent for 2nd issue which is the Legs only (Jet Massage & Dual Massage) control knob and innards which blew out of the tub while I was using and sprayed water all over. The technician said he never saw this happen before, took a picture, sent to office and said it would take about 4 weeks for the part. So, this means I can’t use my tub until the parts arrive.
Well, today was the 6th attempt at installing the phantom part, which today was a handheld shower wand! Yes, 6th time And I am still without a tub! Think I’m a little upset? He took pictures again, how many more times before this gets fixed right? I am so upset I don’t even know what to do. The technicians feel the same way, and apologize but how can it be wrong 6 times? Please advise me what to do, I have looked for the part on the internet myself but don’t have a number just the description out of the installation manual.

We had a garden tub that was big and nice but my husband had fallen in it twice while trying to get in and out of it. I was scared of him getting hurt so I went with the big, stand-up tub. He’s not wheelchair-bound but he can’t get around good. There was a guy on TV and I called that company. A guy came out here and wanted $20,000. I gave them $1,000 deposit but then I talked to my son and he said half of it was for installation. He told me that I could get out of that and he would install it for me so I called and canceled the order.
I looked at my husband’s VFW book and they had American Standard’s 800 number there. I called and told the representative what I was looking for. He said they had it and that they would ship it. He said that it would be $5,000 and I asked how we were gonna do it. He got my debit card number and said that when we get the tub signed for, he would use my debit card and take the $5,000 out of our account. And that was what he did. So it worked out really for me since I can’t go out and get a lot of things. I’ve got to order them.
American Standard shipped the tub right out, along with a couple of panels so we can hide the front end part of it if we want to. But it worked fine for us. My son put it in the place of the garden tub and everything works just like they said it would. It’s also got the same qualities as the one that the other guy wanted all the money for. The only thing I don’t like about it is my husband’s got a big belly and he has a hard time shutting the door. He can get in but he’s got to turn around, put one foot up on the stool, and turn in order to get the door shut. But he loves the tub. He just crawls in, fills it up, turns the noise on and enjoys it for a while. He shaves and fixes his hair there then he just showers off since we got a spray nozzle on too. Then he starts emptying the tub and he’s done.
The American Standard is a great tub and I’ve told a couple of people who have asked me about it. There was one couple who had a walk-in tub put in their home but the woman was really upset because it was so expensive. When you’re retired and your body’s falling apart, it’s really hard to get a hold of something that you’re gonna pay halfway decent price for. But I’ve been happy with American Standard. It helped us out tremendously especially after it was gonna cost me $20,000 and so many years to pay for the other one. It also took me days to get the deposit back on that one. So I was happy to be able to just pay $5,000 and get it over with it. Several people have called and also ordered things over the telephone instead of going to the stores, and they’ve been happy with the product as well.
Thank you for choosing American Standard, Ruth! We're so glad you took advantage of that great deal and you and your husband have been enjoying your walk-in tub.

The salesman came to speak to me and he was very polite and friendly. I showed him the two ads that I saw in the magazine, and asked about the flat thing right under the faucet. He said it was the door and it opens all the way. Then I asked about the other picture and he said that the door on that tub is wider than the previous tub that I showed him. And very politely he said that I have wide hips so I might have trouble being comfortable in that other tub. Their tub is wider, which is why the door opens all the way.
We also had a nice long discussion of the pricing. When my mother moved here with me 2005, she wanted to get a tub. Her sister-in-law in Indiana said that it would cost $30,000. And the American Standard salesman said that price was for a certain brand. He said that brand has all these things, whether you need them or not. I also made an appointment with the other company and I’m glad that the American Standard salesman came first because I might have been susceptible to the other one. In the end, I went with American Standard and my tub wasn't anywhere near that cost.
So I got the American Standard installed and the two guys who did it were professional. Everything was so quiet that there were times when I didn’t even know the two of them were together in the bathroom. They did what they needed to do, and fixed what they needed to fix. And they were gone when they were all done. It just took about two days.
I’m very happy with my American Standard walk-in tub. I love my bath this morning. I can sit, I could stand if I wanna stand. And I can also take a quick shower. I could use as little water as I want, or I can fill it all the way and relax. And whenever I’ve had anybody in and I’m showing my house, I would also show off my tub. I recommend it.

I’m handicapped and I can’t stand to wash my hair. I’m afraid of falling in the tub too. The American Standard sales representative that I talked to was very knowledgeable and he answered all of my questions. The installation process for the walk-in tub went very well. They did what they had to do to get the tub in and they cleaned up. We had a problem with the handle as the lamination was coming off of it, and they handled that really good by replacing it. And since using our walk-in tub, we feel a lot better. It helps our aches, pains, and weary muscles. If we have the room to put another one in another part of the house, we would. American Standard has been very good with us and we’re very satisfied. We would also recommend it to any of our friends who would want to do it because it would change their lives.
We are absolutely delighted to hear we were able to help you enjoy your baths safely, Pauline! Thank you so much for a kind praise.

I like the reputation of American Standard. I also like their tub that gets rid of the water. The interaction with the rep was fine. I had no problems. He was knowledgeable as well. Also, the installation went pretty good but I wouldn't say 100%. The caulking between the tub and the wall is beginning to loosen. Even so, I like the tub. I wish it was deeper but I get around that by sitting down in the foot area and getting the water up above my neck. Also, we got an allowance for a water heater but they really didn't emphasize how big the heater we should have. They kinda played around that. But other than that, I've been perfectly satisfied. I would also tell others that I had a good experience with American Standard.

Since I was having difficulty using a regular bathtub and a shower, I decided to get a walk-in tub from American Standard. The tub was the second one I’ve had in different houses, so I knew what I was getting. Their salesman was very helpful and it was very pleasant doing business with him. He was very knowledgeable and he showed me more of the settings that are in the tub. With this secondary tub, I had to walk to the other side of the house as it’s in the smaller bathroom. The installation of it was very fine and I was surprised that the plumbing was the reverse of how the bathtub had been. American Standard Walk-in Baths is the answer to a lot of the problems as it makes it so much easier to shower or to take a bath.

American Standard has a lifetime guarantee on the labor and the product. The in-home sales representative who came in had spent plenty of time and showed us everything. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Apparently, the installation was difficult but the team did a good job. They were also very friendly, polite, and they cleaned up nice. The walk-in tub is for my mother and she is enjoying it. That’s the only way she can bathe. I'm very satisfied with American Standard and I advise others to do it too.

The sales rep of American Standard came out and made a very good presentation. The lifetime warranty that they provided for their product attracted us. Also, the price was competitive. Since using the walk-in tub that we got from them, I feel much better and it was a really nice experience. But one of the jets is not working and I haven't yet reported this problem to them. Nevertheless, American Standard is a good and reliable company to deal with. My furnace and air conditioner are also from this company and I noticed in ConsumerAffairs that their product was the highest in terms of repairs.

American Standard's sales rep was excellent, however, the installation team was awful. They had to cut a hole in the side of the wall to get the tub in and they did an awful job patching that hole. They also did a very bad job with caulking the tub and we had to have them re-caulk it. But, they still had some problems and had to re-caulk it again. We just ended up fixing the wall ourselves. We had enough of them and just wanted the vendor to be out. The vendor traveled from several states away to get here and just wanted to be out of here too. The sales rep initially said that it was gonna be local people working on it, but that turned out not to be the case. Had they had local people to come and do the installation, it would’ve gone smoothly.
HI Paula, I am so sorry to hear this. I am escalating this with customer service today and you should hear back from them shortly. We will get this resolved for you!

I love my tub from American Standard. The young man who came to make the visit and talk to me about the tub was extremely helpful. And then I did a survey of all the other tubs. But I didn’t find anything else that was as good or a better deal as with American Standard. The other ones were more expensive but not necessarily better and I was pleased with the choice I made. I had a little problem with the installation but the installers came back. When the first team who would take care of the problem got here, they realized the problem was not what they thought it was and they couldn’t cover it. And that was a little annoying to me because with a plumber here in the house, he should be able to do whatever he needed to do to correct it.
I had to wait for another few days for them to send someone else from Atlanta. But I haven’t had any more trouble since then. Using the tub feels so good. I’m pleased and satisfied to be able to use it. I have bad knees and it’s much easier to be able to walk in than it is to lift and to climb over. Overall, American Standard has good services and products.

The in-home sales rep from American Standard was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable. But he was pushy and what he did was a hard sell. I would never have bought one of their products but my sister who's 85 was taken in. She thought the tub was wonderful so she got it. I tried to talk her out of it but it was her money and she was dying to have it.
The installation of the tub was not a real high-quality job. There were corners that didn’t quite meet and for a long time, she didn’t use the tub. She's short and when the tub filled up, she floated off the seat. And that scared her. She has finally gotten off from using the shower and it took her quite a while to get used to getting into the tub. She’s using the tub all the time now but it's only because she hates the shower even more. She’s still not thrilled with the tub and for 15 grand, it was not worth it for her.
I wish the reps had explained some of the negative parts of the tub better than they did. And they could have explained about the seat being cold when she’d get in. Also, it would help a lot if they could have a heated seat and a heated back. And maybe they could have an adjustable seat or at least a seat we could combine and stick on with suction cups to raise it up. Nevertheless, I’d tell my friends not to go with American Standard and to really think through getting one of those tubs.

I contacted American Standard and the in-home sales representative who came out was great. He was very professional and I enjoyed talking to him. I wanted the tub with the wider door and the salesman said he didn’t think I needed it, although I do. So while the sales part was great, I should have gotten one with the wider door. Then the installation process was the most horrible problem I’ve ever had. The crew that took the tub out was not the same crew that put it in. So, when the man came to put it in, he pushed it all the way back against the wall which meant that he was going to have to find tiles to match. If he hadn’t had pushed the tub back, it would have matched and it would have touched the tile. Then he went underneath the house and cut sections out of my floor joist to accommodate the plumbing, where if he had put it in the right place in the first time, he wouldn’t have had to do any of that.
I complained and had people come out to the house and beef up the floor joists. It took 10 days for the installation and there were different people out here every time. There was nobody in charge. I tried to contact the area supervisor, but she never returned my call and I finally got to calling the home office. Also, nobody came to inspect the tub after it was done. I was extremely dissatisfied and I would not recommend them. Other than that, the tub works great and I enjoy it and it makes me feel better.

The sales rep was lovely. He asked me how they can make our shower safe. We went forward and had it done and I'm happy with it. However, I don't know who to go to in case something needs a little repair. A part of the frame at the bottom of the tub has come unglued and I would really like to have that fixed. Also, the straps to keep us from slipping are starting to come undone too and those need to be replaced. Other than that, it's been a wonderful experience. This bathroom is for my mother and she's safe in the shower, and that's all that matters to me. It's a good thing for her. We would suggest American Standard for someone else too.

This happened. We purchased an American Standard Walk-in-Tub, at considerable expense. (15k) It was installed in our upstairs bathroom. Shortly after install Al used the tub. Small amount of water on bath mat next to tub. The next week I noticed small amount of water dripping through kitchen light fixture. Al emptied tub. I cleaned up mess on tabletop and floor. The next week he used again and this time water began pouring down through kitchen ceiling, the tub door popped open and all 50 gallons came pouring through ceiling and downstairs.
I cleaned up water as best I could. Daughter and SIL came to rescue. Bringing commercial fans and dehumidifiers. Ripped out wet drywall on ceiling so it would not fall down. What a mess! Yesterday American Standard came and replaced parts on tub that caused the leak. But the company denies any responsibility for the damage to our kitchen ceiling. Remember this folks! Don’t buy an American Standard Walk in Tub!

The price of American Standard's walk-In tub made me go with them. I'm in the western side of Pennsylvania and the installers that came in were from Philadelphia. When they started out, the vehicle they were driving broke down, so they had to get back and get it fixed, then they went out here. They were Mexicans and they talked a lot in their language, so I asked what they were saying since I didn't understand anything, but they just chuckled.
The guy who came in and did the prep looked at my bathroom to see what I needed. The bathroom wasn’t level so they had to cut down lumber. Since I had lumber here, I told them to use it, so they cut it down and used it. But then, they didn't have plywood to put on and since I had plywood here too, they used that as well. But some of the seams didn't get sealed up to where they should have been, so I had to go over and redo them, and I got them straightened up. Upon leaving, the installers left some junk that was in the back of their van. All in all, the tub is a good product but the installation was not so good.

The American Standard sales rep was outstanding because of his appearance, the way he carried himself and the way he talked. He wasn't high-pressured and was also very accommodating and he answered my questions. The installation of the tub went well though the installers had to carry it up 17 steps, so that was a job in itself. Everybody was very up-and-up. My experience with Mike, the installer and all were fine. Also, my grandson's legs were bothering him, then he said, "Oh, grandma, I didn't know you had this." I said, "Oh, yeah. Help yourself." and we both loved it. Usually, I cannot step into a tub but this American Standard tub is very accommodating for me and very comfortable. The water is the right level and I have the heater seat.

The representative who came and talked to me about the tub was very good, very polite and very informative. And the installation took longer than I thought but it was good. The installers were very good too. But when I got the tub, it didn’t have the added feature of the heated seat yet which I would have liked. It just so happens that way and since then, they've added the heated seat to it which is nice. Otherwise, all the other features were very good. We installed our Liberation tub in February 2018. Less than four months later, the Jets stopped working and the toilet seat on my “free” bidet cracked. I called the customer service department, Kim, for three weeks straight to get the issue resolved. Kim said she would be working on someone to get out to look at our tub and I was even told they were on their way out, which was not true. No one came to my home or contacted me for an appointment. I then escalated to management and our sales representative, Frank **. As of today, no service has been sent out to fix issue. We now are the owners of a $15,000 liberation tub that does not work. Although other companies were a little bit more expensive, we regret trusting American Standard. American Standard has failed us miserably and we are now out $15,000.

My husband was having trouble getting into the shower and I'm not strong enough to give him the support to make certain that he wouldn't fall. I was going to sign a contract with a different company to install a walk-in tub, but my son discovered that they have financial problems and they were going to be closed down because they had done so many bad things, and that's a lot of money to spend for something that you won't get. I saw an American Standard advertisement and went into the computer to check out what other people thought about them. The sales gal was wonderful and very helpful. She was always right there and did her job well. That girl could sell anything. But she is in business and she just disappeared like everybody else when it was over.
The installation team was amazing. I don't know how in the world those two young men lifted the tub and got it in the hole in the wall that the old bathtub made when it was removed. But, they did. It was also clean when they left. There were a couple of things that should've been fixed but I just didn't bother with. They hooked up my hot and cold water backwards where the hot should be on the left and the cold on the right. It's not a big deal though. I could also have gotten my own pliers out but I just figured to live with it.
The tub has made it possible for my husband to get in and out by himself if he needs to. But within the first few months, something wasn't right with the tub. I called and American Standard had somebody out here really quick. It was fixed and everything was cool. Then in November, I had a problem with it and it was fairly serious. The electric wasn't working and I couldn't let my husband get in the tub because I was afraid I didn't know what it was with the electrical. I called several times for help but no help was sent. I could have my son fix it, but then I didn't know whether that would ruin the warranty. They finally came out the end of January. They sent four engineers out here to look at the tub. And then, the engineers said that they were not electricians so they couldn't fix the tub and I needed an electrician.
American Standard told me to call an electrician in our area and have him fix the tub then they would pay the electrician directly. It was way into February before I finally got an electrician out. However, the electrician didn't want to wait to deal with American Standard, so I paid him. The company then said they would pay me back but it took them several months to get around to doing that. They did finally pay me the hundred dollars that it cost to get the electrician out.
Then from February to June, sometimes the tub doesn't seem to be just exactly right. Last night, the part that pushes water out at the feet won't work. I was going to call the place but then I thought I'm not gonna deal with it again. It's gonna be impossible to get someone to fix it. I just figured as long as I could use the tub and we're not falling down when getting a warm bath, I'm not going to be involved in complaining about them. But it's been wonderful that American Standard guarantees the installation, the parts, and that they would come out and fix the tub. Warranties get people like us to put our trust in American Standard.

Since having the walk-in tub, it’s easier for me to get into the tub because I have 30 inches of rods in my back. It’s also safer for my husband and me.

My wife had just had her hip replaced. She had a large bathtub with jets and everything in it but she wouldn’t be able to get in and out of it. I thought an American Standard Walk-in tub would be nice for her coming out of the hospital and rehab center, so I bought it for her. The sales rep was really nice and he seemed knowledgeable so I bought it right then and there. I thought it was really expensive when the guy brought it up to me. It was like buying a car. But I thought about it and told them to go ahead and do it.
The installation went pretty smooth and the guys were really good. They had to lift it over a bar in order to get it to that bathroom. But they had to take my doorframe apart and didn't put it back too well. Also, they had the reset button under the tube on the left-hand side towards the back and water was hitting it because it wasn’t caulked very well on top. It would constantly go out, so I had to call them twice about it. They were quick to respond the first time but the second time, it took about two weeks. They contacted an independent person who came out and moved that setup. He reset up to the front of where the tub is instead of towards the back and that seems to have solved it. The walk-in tub is a lot easier to use for my wife and it's making a difference for me. I'm totally relaxed. It's a very nice tub and it drains quickly.

We had a sales representative of American Standard come out. They were the first one that had the appointment and the rep was very friendly and very informative. He told us about this tub and we thought it was okay, so we went with them. The installation went pretty good and they had it all done in less than a day. The tub comes in handy when I come home in the morning and I'm aching all over to get into it. I have insomnia and when I wake up, I feel better than I would if I just showered.
American Standard's crews apparently are very busy. I had a minor issue and it took them a while to come out and deal with it. But once we got a hold of somebody that had a crew available, they came out almost immediately. And it didn’t take long for them to take care of the issue once they got here. I've mentioned American Standard to people who are having trouble getting their hot tub. I tell them that I've got a walk-in tub which is hot when I get into it, and it stays hot the whole time I'm using it. And they are kind of interested. Also, I've recommended American Standard to people who I work with and are older like I am.

I saw an ad on TV about American Standard walk-in tubs and then I looked at that and Safe Step. I liked the fact that the American Standard drained in less than 60 seconds where the other one took about four minutes. The installer did a good job installing it, although it would have been a lot quicker if he had somebody to help him. He had to go up in the attic and then come back down, go up and come back down. Other than that, the experience has been good so far. My wife uses the walk-in tub, which I actually bought for her so it would be easier for her get in and out of it.

Wiring was illegal. Took twice as long to install. They messed up the billing and then when they worked on the financing AGAIN they increased my interest rate, punishing me for their mistake. My husband was on oxygen at the time and a spark from their bad wiring could have blown him and the house up. They are not taking responsibility for their actions.

American Standard Walk-In Tub has been good and I love it. But when I wanted one thing fixed on it, they wanted me to crawl into the tub and fix it myself, instead of sending a rep out. I’m 70 years old and I’ve got arthritis of the spine. And I tried to explain that to the lady. But I finally got it done myself. I had to lay there like Shamu the whale and put the stuff back together. They talked me through it and it worked. However, I paid a ton of money for 100% warranty but for minor stuff, they wouldn’t send somebody out.
Other than that, the representatives from American Standard are polite. And you can get to somebody when you need to. Also, the installation was good. I had a young man and his boys install it. He knew his stuff and did a fine job on it. I was well pleased. The walk-in tub helps my back and my diabetic foot. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. I'm in a neighborhood of older people and once you get 'em in there, you have to take a rope to get them out. They just don't wanna leave.

My mom would be 92 on July 31st so I wanted to help her. She's a total bath person and she has to climb over her previous tub and she was getting too old to do that. It was not very safe. I found American Standard and they have the top rating with the AARP magazine. I called them and they were really helpful and responsive. The sales rep was very knowledgeable about the equipment. If we have any questions, she was able to answer them right away. She also got us a quick date. We didn't have to wait forever because their installers came to install it. They were great and the stuff that they put for the splash around was really nice and it makes the bathroom look completely remodeled. My grandkids love it. After baseball, ballet and soccer, we go to grandma's house and sit in the tub. We love it and we've been recommending American Standard.

We had some companies come out to show us their product, what it was gonna cost, and their warranties, but we went with American Standard because they're all around and they seem to be a better company. The sales representative we spoke with was great. He came here to the house, and then he knew we were gonna interview other people. He never bothered us. He then took a phone call even though it was up in Seattle. He took good care of things from there and got the ball rolling.
However, it took them three and a half days to do the installation. The installers were great and they put everything in, but the drain doesn't work right and it won't stay up. Also, they didn’t build a brace underneath so the side panel on the back side is sinking. Moreover, the back shelf never had anything on it and it popped all apart. We're gonna have to tear the wall apart to get the shelf fixed. I need some maintenance on it and I'm a little disappointed, but when I called because the back jets weren’t working for months now, the lady on the phone on the customer service was really good. I just wasn’t doing something right, and she walked me right through it.
Still, the tub has done wonders to my mother's skin. My mother lives with me and she's 89 years old. We put all those jets on for her skin, spine, as well as arthritis. It has been a wonderful experience. All in all, while I still have to call and have them come in and fix the problems because they were something that weren’t done right on the install, I'm satisfied with American Standard's product.

The sales rep who sold me the American Standard walk-in tub was very good and then the installation took a couple of days. The team had to take out part of the wall into the bathroom and then that made it a little bit longer. They were very courteous people. Since having the tub, I feel more confident taking a bath. I have a bad leg and we were doing some research and saw American Standard Walk-In Tubs on TV. We talked to them and they called in when they came. Their sales rep was good. Everything went good. When the installation team installed the tub we didn’t have a problem. We didn’t know that the caulking around the tub broke loose. So another group of installers came back and they caulked around it and crawled on the floor. A year later, the caulking broke loose again. My wife called and the girl didn’t really wanna send anyone. We didn’t like that because she said the caulk is not on the warranty. I said, “We give all this money for this tub, there’s supposed to be warranty.” So, the guys came out and re-caulked it.
The guy took pictures and showed it to me and said, “They cut your floor doors. That’s your tub, it’s sinking so it’s a wonder you or your wife hadn’t fallen through.” If I fell through and lost my leg, there would have been some serious problems. He said, “We’ll come back and make it right,” which they did. So far, I haven’t been able to get out of there. The pictures I saw looks good but I am not satisfied because they cut my floor doors. American Standard should’ve knocked some of the price. They did fix it but me and my wife could have fallen. Plus I’m still worried about my home falling in because it got my whole structure there that went all that time with no support. And now I wonder about the bath tub in there full of water. The people that did come back the second time were not honest. That’s the only problem I have. I would not recommend American Standard on account of that. Nevertheless, I love my tub and I like the guys that came the last time.

The sales representatives explained everything real well and told us what’s this and what’s that. They were real nice, they told us about the warranty and helped us a lot with the paperwork to get it. Then they brought the tub in and put everything up nicely like it should be and didn’t have any problem. Then they cleaned up by themselves before they left. They did a wonderful job. The tub does everything that was said on tv. It soothed my problems and it does wondrous. If you can afford it, go ahead and get one because it really helped me out a lot. If you're sick or something like that and you get in your tub, it really is a good thing.

I liked that American Standard Walk-In Tubs has a lifetime warranty. I told their rep what I had to have and I negotiated a better price than what he was offering, and I got additional commodes and things. The installation team was great however, they made a mistake. I bought a tub that opens out and they installed one that opened in, but the next day they came back and installed the right one. They were good and they completed the job in three days. I do like getting in the tub with all the jets hitting me and I just soap and stay there forever. The whole family enjoys it. Furthermore, they have a code that we have to call in to get a work order. The workman that does the work and the installation is 18 miles from me. I used to wait a week to get the work order through and I got upset. The workman said to just call him direct. So I call him direct now and I got a better service. The American Standard walk-in tub came with a toilet for handicapped people. It's taller and built in such a way that it helps some handicapped people like myself. But I purchased a handicapped toilet earlier and rather than throw that away, I asked the installers to put that old handicapped toilet over my other bathroom and they agreed, The installation was subcontracted to some Hispanic people out of Georgia and the three guys who came out were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They laid down a piece of plastic through the door all the way to the bathroom because they had to demolish a wall, and they had to take out a lot of stuff to put it in the walk-in tub. They worked like beavers, got the job done, and didn't make any mess.
Everything was going along swell for a day or two but when I went in there and used the toilet, I leaned over to the side to wipe myself and the whole toilet fell over. Apparently, they had not put the screws in the slab to tighten it down. I also had a carpet over the floor in the bathroom and it was flooded. So, I contacted the people who installed it and they immediately sent a guy out who was the supervisor. They capped out the screws and put the toilet in correctly. They were very apologetic and they did what they could do.
Then about a month ago, I started getting large black stuff about a dime in size coming out of the tub. When the water recirculates in the tub, I could see the black stuff coming out of those jets and it looks like some sort of a fungus. I've tried all kinds of stuff on it and I've got a biological cleaner in there now instead of bleach which I was told would damage the hoses and gaskets. I've also been trying to get in touch with somebody at American Standard that could get somebody out here and see what's wrong. But I haven't been able to get in touch with anybody and all the information I've got, I've received off the internet. So right now, I've got one jet that's completely stocked up and the rest of the jets are spitting out that black stuff. I'm afraid it would be damaging to my health if it's black mold.

An agent of American Standard Walk-In Tubs came out and talked with us, and he sounded good so we purchased a tub from them. But our experience with American Standard wasn't good and I’m very dissatisfied with them. When I called them about the installation of our tub, they said they would make certain that it would be done in two or three weeks.
But the installation was terrible because the installers tore my bedroom suite, then moved it around, and when it was time to cut a hole in the wall, they adjusted the whole area. Moreover, the tub is not working like it should because the motor never flows, although they replaced a couple of motors. There’s a motor in the shower and they tied it to that. In addition, the jet feature is not working. The installers said that they’d come back and fix it, but they never did. I told American Standard about this and we spent an hour calling the guy handling the work. The guy said that he needs another motor, but then we never heard back from him and I've lost his phone number. While I can use the tub, I can't use the jet feature because it will keep running and won’t cut off. But apart from that, the other features of the tub have been fine.

She went beyond her call of duty. Also, they got the tub in pretty quickly. Then the installation team was also great. We had to change the door and everything and it came out just perfectly.
I like the tub because I can soak and I’m hurting so badly. And not only that, I like the shower afterward that you can have all the soapy stuff in my shower so I get a nice bath and a shower at the same time. It helps my achiness doing both. I’m 85 and it takes care most of the little problems that an 85-year old lady has. I love every aspect of it. But right now, my drainage is not doing 100% good. I sit there for a little minute before it goes out but I just put the drainage thing on it and it goes out and then I walk out. It doesn’t look like the handle up on the top goes all the way over. It looks like it goes maybe not all the way enough that’s why it’s not opening probably enough. But other than that, it’s no big problem. I know how to cope with it. I have recommended the tub to several friends.

So, when I got sick and could not go up the steps, my husband had them install a walk-in tub for me down here. Wayne, the sales representative who came out here, was very informative and he showed us the pictures and everything he had, and we liked what he said. So, we bought it. The installers were also wonderful. They had figured that the tub would fit. They had to cut the wall in the hallway in order to get the tub in the room, and they did that, and put the wall back. The sales representative lied to me about all the good things that the tub was gonna be. When he showed me the tub, we talked about the wider opening, the heated seat, the coating on the tub and that all we had to do was rinse it out. But, none of that came through and I realized that immediately after the installation. When I called them to talk about it, they said that someone would call me back but no one ever did. And so I said to forget it since there was no way they were gonna come back here to it take out and put another in. I would have to deal with this for a little while and then go with someone else and get me another one.
Also, there are some stains in there and they won't come out no matter how much I scrub. And then, I kept calling American Standard for the little pillow that I was supposed to get and I never got it. They gave me the small door for the tub instead of the big one that I asked for. My mother is doing pretty good with the tub. But I am heavy and it's a little hard for me to get in and out. I would never gonna recommend American Standard.

It does an automatic drain system and so I won’t have to sit there in cold water while the thing drains. And because of my arthritis, I figured having the tub would be good so we had it installed in the house. The installers were very cordial and they did exactly what they said they were gonna do. They had to widen the doorway a little bit to get the tub in and then they fixed it just like how it was. It didn’t take them very long and it was an excellent installation experience. When I hit the drain button, it’ll go down to about an inch still left in there. I have to keep hitting it before it’ll all go out.
Other than that, I liked the tub. It came in handy when I needed it and my granddaughter who’s nine, wants to use it but she’s very small. I don’t like people like that. They tell me one thing just to make a sale.
The installation should have been a two-day process. When one of the electric motors went out of the tub, we called in and there was a gentleman here the next day to take care of it. He looked at it and then I asked him how long should it take to install a tub like this. He said that it should be two days max. I told him that the reason I asked was that the guy that installed the tub took 10 days and then he said that that guy is no longer with American Standard. The walk-in tub took too long to install. Our house was in disarray all that 10 days. There was dust all over the place. We couldn’t do any cleaning because it was redone all over again the next day. But other than that, I love the tub and I enjoy it very much. I sit there and wait until the water fills up the way I want it. And then stay there for 20 minutes to half hour if I wanted to. I am very happy that we bought the American Standard walk-in tub. My wife and I are both 85 years old and we decided that we better get one before we can't use the shower anymore. Using the tub also helps my wife with her rheumatism. We opted for American Standard given that I didn't have to deal with anybody else. They provided the installers and did everything. I didn't have to pick up a thing. Prior to the purchase, the sales rep came and gave us a long presentation. He didn't expect us to buy it, and he was just going through the motions. And then when we said we were gonna buy it, his expression changed and he had a big smile on his face. It made me laugh.
I was really impressed with the lead man during the installation. He was a journeyman electrician. I'm a retired electrician and I was watching what he was doing, and he did everything right. He bought all the materials from the local Lowe's and he did everything according to code. And his team was very, very professional. But after we had it installed, we had two issues with thunder and lightning that tripped the GFIs, and so I had to call back and somebody came within 24 hours to get it going again, and we haven't had any trips since then.

He didn't leave here till after 10 o'clock because we were talking so much. I was also amazed at how the installation team did all of the work in one day. They had to assemble things to get the tub in my small bathroom, which is at the very back of my house. The door was 24-inches and there was no way the new tub was going in there. So they cut the wall out and then they took out the tub I had, put the new tub in the same place and repaired the wall.
I'm happy with the product, the man who sold it and the people who put the tub in. I've had a good experience except the tub is too high off the floor. They put a piece under the molding, something right on it and another piece of molding down on the floor. But perhaps that was the only way the installers could do it. Stepping in is not so bad but it's difficult for me when I come out. The tub also seems too short and the seat is too short to lay my head back. Plus, I thought it was gonna be heated and it isn't. But those things aside, the tub is really nice and I like it a lot. If I don't have time to take a bath, I could sit in there, take a shower and get out. It's a lot easier and I can relax in there.

My American Standard Soaker tub was installed by Bath Planet of Ft. Lauderdale. FL. It took they 11 months to install. I looked forward to my first bath and it was lovely. However, when it was time to exit I was in for a bad surprise. The tub would not drain. I had chosen not to have the quick drain option but the motor is still installed, just not connected to electricity. After panicking as to how I was going to exit the tub, I bent down and pulled the drain plug out. The tub drained before I could shower off.
I called American Standard and explained the problem. They sent me a replacement plug head and said that was all they could do. I called a number of plumbers to redirect the drain pipes but none were familiar with walk-in tubs except BlueFrog which sent a man who had never seen a walk in tub, did not fix anything and charged me for the trip. I have requested my money back, but they are ignoring me. I guess I'll just have to keep bending down to pull the plug.

The installation was timed perfectly as well. The installation people were there when they were supposed to be there. And it just took one day for the installation to finish. Everything was perfect. We also like the quality of the walk-in tub and because I have arthritis, I feel much better with the tub. We've told others about American Standard Walk-In Tubs.

My mother would not have had a bath between now and the last 17 months if not for the American Standard tub. She’s older and she has dementia. She doesn’t like taking baths and it’s like pulling teeth. The tub has made it much easier for us. We don’t have to get her on a chair in the shower and get in with her. She can be put in the tub and we would stand by with her and help hand her things. It’s great.
I’ve known about American Standard forever and they’re a well-known brand in plumbing fixtures. I had two reps come out and give me an estimate. It was less expensive and because it’s still a well-known brand, I was confident that it would just get by. Both of the reps were very nice and knowledgeable and ready to make a deal right then. They didn’t have to call somebody and say, “Can we do this or that?” They looked at my bathroom and realized that we would have to take doors out and maybe even a wall. The deal included an 88 toilet, which we had just put in in that bathroom so we said we didn’t need that. He discounted our price some amount to compensate for us not getting that.
The installers came from Albuquerque, which is an hour and a half away so they wanted to get it done fast so they didn’t have to come back another time. They were nice and mostly professional but they were a little raw. They were guys that work with their hands. But that didn’t bother me and they weren’t offensive. They were just regular guys. Because they had to break through a wall to get the tub in, we decided instead of putting a wall back, we would just put another door there. The installer took one of my utility doors away with him and the measurement of the door. He made a new door and new doorjambs and copied our finish exactly. I don’t know if he got paid extra for that because I didn’t pay him anything for that. He said it was part of the deal. It was a big job. They also had to change the floor tiles and all kinds of stuff so they did a good job. Once they were done, there was nothing dirty at all.
However, the handle that changes the flow from the faucet to the shower is extremely difficult to use and it has broken twice. We’ve had to have it repaired twice. They came and repaired it once when it fell off. The second time, I had a plumber here and he worked on it for me. You have to turn the water off in the faucet in order to switch between them so you turn the water off, then you pull that switch up or down. Then you turn the water on and it comes out of the other thing, whichever one you’re switching it from. It’s the pulling up and down on that thing that’s really hard.
I tried to do it last night myself. I have yet to get an implement and put it under it and push up with it or push down with it. You can’t do it just by hand and maybe replacing the actual faucet that the switch is part of would make it work better. If American Standard could work on improving that so it works better, that’d be good. Other than that, I had a good experience and we love our tub.
Thanks for your business and taking the time to leave a review, Kristine. We'd be happy to help with any questions or concerns you might still have about the faucet. Please don't hesitate to give us a call at 855-225-2183.

American Standard came here and briefed us. Their sales rep had a company pitch and it was very well done. He was excellent and not pushy. We’re in our 80s and we got a walk-in, side-down tub which is a little better as I don't like to step into anything. Then the fellow that came to put the tub in was outstanding and he met all the deadlines, so we were very happy. American Standard has a great product and we like the tub that they put in very much. I applauded them greatly and I’d recommend them.
It's music to our ears your experience with our company has been nothing but great. Thank you so much for the kind praise, Don!

The guy that sold us the American Standard Walk-In Tub was fine. We showed where the tub was going when he was here but when they got here, they made it sound like they were gonna rebuild our house because they had to get from the main box in the garage to the third floor. And so all of a sudden the cost went up enormously. Then when they came to do that enormous job, my husband timed them and it didn’t take any time at all, and then they still wanted to charge us that money but there was a sentence in the contract which made it now on void so we did not pay it. It was really complicated for a few days. Another thing is, the men that showed up were in questionable work attire and they didn’t have a shirt on with the name. They could walk down off the street and we didn’t like that. They need to at least put a shirt with their name on it. I’m sure they can afford it. Also, there's no name on the vehicle.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention Judy. We will be making sure our installers are wearing proper work attire from now on!

My regular tub was about three or four feet deep and had old-fashioned paws on it. Given my age, my kids didn't want me to be at risk. Everything has been super with the in-home sales reps, and the techs who came for the installation were great. They were really nice people and everything looked fine. Sometimes, I don’t get to stay in the tub as long as I would like for the therapeutic part of it. But when I do, I feel better because the tub does well with my sore joints like the legs and the knees. I had my kids laughing at some of the therapeutic colors like the red which I don’t like because you think of some of the movies you’ve seen with blood, so I use the other color. All in all, I’ll recommend American Standard.
We're glad to hear everything went great with the installation and that you are enjoying your new tub, Frankie! Thanks also for your feedback about the colors.

American Standard was good to deal with and they did great, exactly as advertised. They delivered the tub when they said they would. But the installation was part of a new construction so the plumbers who were doing the construction of our home actually did the install and they didn’t have a freaking clue what they were doing. That aside, the tub worked like everything that American Standard told me it was gonna work.

American Standard Walk-In Tubs is a good product and they have good service. When the in-home sales representative came out, our interaction was pleasant. Furthermore, the installer did an excellent job. He told me everything I needed to do and what I needed to have moved. While I had some problems with something that we paid for, they came out and did it quickly. We haven't had any problem since. So far, the walk-in tub has been a good thing to get. I can sit down in the tub and can get out of it. I like that.

American Standard being a well-known, solid brand made me comfortable about getting my walk-in tub from them. The sales rep that came here was also very, very nice and helpful. He had one salient bit of information wrong however. I don’t like white and so I had asked if they had off-white. He said they didn't. I somehow found out though that they do have it. I wish he had told me the actuality if he knew, and if not, that should be made known to the salespeople that off-white was available; because the rest of the bathroom and frankly, there isn’t a bit of white stuff in my house. A customer should not have to work quite so hard as I did to make sure where to get it. Other than that, the rep was very fine.
And then for the installation, we were told somewhere along the line that it was gonna be three days. When I told the installer that, he looked at me with a boss-eye and he said, “It’s gonna be more like three hours.” And I said, “That’s fine and handy.” So, there was a little miscommunication there as well. Anyway, as in any job like that, it’s a big mess. But they put down a carpet protecting cloth and a couple of minor little nix and things that we’ve had to fix since. But it's not really bad. The one thing they should’ve done is to caulk along the bottom of it. They didn’t do that, which might have been an oversight. And it’s a good gap - a half-inch gap. We figured these big bugs are coming in there. My husband just got a lot of caulking and caulked along there. So, that needs to be attended to.
Once, I had some difficulty with the software the tub has, because it’s got computerized stuff in there that consistently did not work. At first, I called the installer and he was very helpful. He called the main office and they told him, tell me to reboot the system, to turn it off at the breaker for a day, and then turn it back on. And it did fix it but it happened two or three times. So, I eventually called, and then he came. But I was asking for a specific time that was more convenient for me and he did whatever he felt like. So, suddenly, he went from being a really cooperative person to being less than cooperative. Though, in the end, he couldn’t get it to repeat itself in the moment when he came.
Since then, a bit and piece of the software sometimes does not work. I know now to just reboot it but I don’t bother rebooting it from the breaker. I reboot it from the button, the electrical switch, both of them. And I hold off a few hours and then it’s been working. So, about 95% of the time, the software is working as it should. I’m always a little nervous though that a piece of the software is gonna fink out on me. Still, I recommend it to others.

We had been researching walk-in tubs on the internet and we got prices on several. We went out to look at a couple of people in Baton Rouge who had some on display. And then I saw an ad from American Standard and of course, American Standard has the name and it’s been in business for years and years so I said, “Well, let me call the American Standard folks" and had the guy come out. We talked about everything. He gave us a price and there was some special that’s going on at the time and the price was a few hundred dollars less than one that was local. And then I called Luter's Supply in Tylertown, Mississippi, because they advertise a lot that they have walk-in tubs in a huge showroom with the tubs.
I talked to Mr. Luther himself and the issue I had there was they sell you the tub and they’ll recommend an installer but the installer is completely separate from Luter's Supply. So if you have a problem, one will point to the other and said, “Well, it’s not me. It’s him.” “Oh, it’s not me.” We’ve gone through that before with the carpet dealer. The installer wasn’t the salespeople.
I called American Standard back and made a deal with them. We were taking out the old Jacuzzi. It was in the house when we bought it and I haven’t been in it 12 times in 22 years. The water will be cold before you got out and it’s just was not easy to get in and out. We’re both in our age, and it was just very uncomfortable. American Standard put the new tub in, but rather than moving the drain, they put everything on a platform. And then, that made it a little bit difficult for us to climb up. It wasn’t a walk-in. It was a climb-in. I had to get them to come back and re-engineer everything and that cost us an extra thousand dollars.
Since then we had one problem. The guy came out and fixed it and my understanding is we got a lifetime warranty on parts and service and we’re very pleased with where we are right now. We just finished completely renovating that bathroom and it’s very nice to get in now in that tub. We suffer from a lot of old days problems and I have a terrible back. It’s a very relaxed situation and very enjoyable. We seem a lot better when we get out.

In 2015, my mother was 100 years old and lived alone. Sister and I advised walk-in bathtub for safety purposes. Finally decided upon American Standard based on longevity and reputation. Worst mistake we ever made! Salesman came out and sold her a top of the line $15,000 Liberation tub he said was guaranteed for the life of the tub, not the life of the owner. I called the salesman back to express doubt about that warranty. He told me same thing. Life of the tub. Mom, after all, was 100 years old. Long story short.
She died two years later having used the tub very little because it was not properly installed or instructed on even half the bells and whistles. Living out of state, I was appalled when at her death, we found through another electrician before sale of house that it was improperly wired so couldn't have worked right. He fixed it for $280 and company has promised to pay. That was 2 mos. and many unreturned phone calls ago. Please do not let your ageing parent buy from this outfit. I'm 87 years old and it's kind of hard for me to get into a tub. I thought that the American Standard walk-in tub would be a pretty good thing because it had many good features in it so I bought one. My interaction with their reps was good and they were very helpful. Also, the two guys who came here told me what they were gonna do and they did that. They dismantled the tub that I had and installed the walk-in tub. And when it was all done, the job was about 98% good. The tub enclosure was sealed nice and neat. They missed a couple of spots with the silicon putty but it was not a big thing.
I like the jets of the tub and the deodorizer compartment that's on the top. You put some crystals in there and it gives off a fragrance to the whole bathroom. I also like the water faucet's setup and the very fast drain system. This tub is very good for me. I can sit and wash myself in it and no water can leak out. Everything is handy right in front of me and I'm in a small compartment. I'm full of arthritis and it's good that me not to have to reach so far for this and for that. I've told quite a few of my friends about this tub and they've come over and took a look at it. They think it's a great thing. I love my American Standard walk-In tub. It's been very good except that some of the little bubble jets on the very bottom aren't working. I had a guy come out a couple of times and he said he was gonna check with the tech people and see if they knew what was going on. I'd like for that to work because my feet are the main problem I'm using the tub for. I have neuropathy in my legs and my feet, and the tub helps them relax. I also had a lot of back surgery and the tub is wonderful for that. It really makes me feel better. Other than that, the tub cost a lot more money than I thought it was gonna be. I paid $14,000 for it but the guys that installed it did a good job. They had to take off the moldings around two doors and take the doors off. The tub looks really nice, too. Then, this one lady was calling to see if I got my tub fixed and I told her no and that my husband is furious about it.
Still, I would tell my friends that I like the tub and that it's worth the money for me because it's helping my problems. And I've always been a bath person, so I love the bath. It's more safe than a regular shower. I also had the actual jet tub in the bathroom when we moved here but it's nothing like this one. I like the fact that with my American Standard tub, I can sit up, have the nice big seat, and have the jets on my back and feet.

We worked back and forth for about a week before we bought the walk-in tub. It took the installers a couple of days to install the tub. We had a tile man come in and redo the whole bathroom. They did the walls and some kind of a marble. The slate is kind of a lighter green color. The tub is really beautiful and it had chandelier in it. Everybody who sees it likes it.
We enjoyed doing demos with the guys that came in and talked to us and sold us everything. And the service people were really nice and did all the things we ordered them to do in trying to complete the projects. Everything was done very professionally. My mom has lost a lot of mobility so it's hard for me to get her in the tub. The American Standard walk-in tub is very expensive equipment but it's there. I had 2 estimates from American Standard's competition but what made me decide at that time was the quality of the tub and the jets. The in-home sales representative convinced me over another sales person because the other company wanted to really reduce the price for me to go with them. Just the fact that they wanted to reduce it so much in comparison made me think twice about the quality. Plus, the American Standard sales rep was very knowledgeable and he walked me through all the details and how it was built. And so I bought the tub for both my mom and my dad.
Then, the installation team was wonderful and knew what they're doing. As a matter of fact, they used the same team when I had the tub transferred from my parents' house because my father passed away last year. But having it transferred was costly and I paid as much money for this stuff as I did for a car. They charged me $3000 but I want American Standard to be the one to do it so they sent the same team. The cost is outrageous having spent over $18,000 in one tub but it was my mistake and I'm still paying for it. He told me what would have to be done, but we then ended up not doing that. We had to go to the other door and through the walls to get the bathtub in there.
The installation went fine until the first rain. We've developed mildew and we have a leak on the roof. We went investigating the leak and came to find out that it was the tub that was leaking. We had to pay a guy to go up there and caulk it. Apparently, they removed the pipe with the plumbing and it was leaking around the pipe. I’ve had American Standard now for over a year and I’m pretty much okay with it. However, there were times when I thought if I did the right thing and I’m still thinking about a way. There are some things about the tub that I wish I had my old one back. I got to be very, very careful about how I get in and I have to get used to it. Plus, the walk-in tub is high for me to get in. If you're gonna go into it, you would need somebody to help you getting in and out of it.
And there were times when I’m gonna be washing my hair besides taking a bath and when I had my own old bathtub, it seemed easier to be doing it there. I had to open two different kinds of water with the American Standard tub. I don’t want it too hot, but I don’t want it too cold. So, I have to use both kinds of water. It works but I just got to be a bit used to it because sometimes I would turn on too much hot water. Whereas, with my older tub, that didn’t happen. I just turn it on.

I was searching for a good walk-in tub that would be able to fit for a plus size person. I had four in-home presentations and the salesman for the American Standard happened to be one of the four. After having the four interviews and them telling me what they could do for me, I chose the American Standard tub over the others mainly because it rings all the bells and all that I needed for the tub. The affordability was pretty comparable to the others. I’ve known about them because my furnace was American Standard as well. I ultimately told them it was the quality of the product that meets my needs then.
However, I had a problem with the people who put my tub in. I'm really pissed. When I first got the tub put in, the gentleman who installed it told me that he was gonna leave the tub full of water so it would set the glue. It is set with the walls but I think that’s the policy. I did that and then after two days, I was supposed to drain the water, wash it out, and then I can use it. The water was all over my floor after the first day because something happened.
I had to call them back but they told me to call American Standard so I can get a ticket. I understood so I did that. I called them about two months ago and they took about almost a month to send somebody out here. They didn’t have to park. They just sent two guys and didn’t tell them what it was and what they needed. The two guys just came out here and fixed my tub. The guys who came out here made six days to have the part. They also said this is going to require a bit far of a day because they've got to open the whole tub and back up to fix this part.
Also, the part should be purchased and they didn't tell me it was coming. A week later, I saw a box on my porch. I didn’t order anything. And then, I opened it up and there was the part. I called the owner and let him know about the part and he told me to call him back and leave the message on his voicemail so he'll know that he needed to call me back and make an appointment. So far, I haven’t gotten that appointment yet. It's been a month now since that happened. I told them as long as they could come back before or after my foot surgery, it would be fine. But they couldn’t come back. I was trying to see how long they were going to wait. This is ridiculous.
So here I am, still sitting out. I got the part and we’re now in April. All of March had gone now. I’m just not pleased with these guys that I talked to and I asked American Standard if there were anyone else in my area who I could deal with other than these guys because I don’t think they care. American Standard said they’re the only guys who were set within my territory.
I let the rep know that I’m not happy about that at all. They’re not meeting my end. What happened is, this is the time when people hack money and come back. They make a lot of customers and they have a little skeleton crew. They’re gonna go where the money is first, while forgetting all the rest of us. There are days when they got some downtime and we've been fooled. I don’t think that’s right. They’re supposed to designate a crew to work in this area and they need to come and do what they’re supposed to do. It's not American Standard but it's the vendor. Nevertheless, the product of American Standard is good.

American Standard has excellent products. It’s a brand that has been around a lot longer. Plus, I got a good deal with them financially. Their sales representative was very courteous and very nice. During installation, the installers ran into problems as the representative who sold me the tub didn’t measure the installation properly. It turned out the guys had to widen the doorway and take out a wall to get the tub in. It took them an extra day to do the extra work. But the installers got the problems solved right away and it turned out fine. They were excellent people. The walk-in tub is okay but the installation and the warranty were the two things that I appreciate the most.

My mother bought an American Standard walk-in tub and they didn't think it out really well for her. They put the reach bars way out of the way. She's 97 and she really could use the grab bars. But when she's sitting down and reaches her arm straight out, she doesn't come near to the bar that they put in without trying to get up first and that's where the danger lies for her to fall. It needs to be at her elbow. Also, one bar is on the left side but my mom's right-handed and it isn't easy for her to get up that way. People have to be really careful where they put those grab bars. The only way they could have done it so she could use it would be if it was on the door.
You can't fill the tub ahead of time either. You have to get in it, lock the door and then run the water. My mom has never filled it up to the seat because she gets so cold. It takes forever for it to fill up and she has to sit there wet after the water goes out until it gets cold. So she tries to go ahead, wash and get through before it gets full of water. Then once, I forgot to lock the door and the pressure of the water pushed it open. It flooded the bathroom and I had to pay for it. Now I remember to lock it every time.
When you got to turn the shower on, I can hardly do it so my mom definitely could not ever do that on her own. The whole purpose of getting the tub was so my mom can take her bath by herself but she still can't. It's not what we thought it was gonna be and we wouldn't do it again if we had the chance. They never reached back to see if it was okay either. They were not bad when they were here but we figured they would call us. We issued one complaint and we had to have them come out and check and make sure the water wasn't leaking underneath. The guy who came out initially called about that but that was the only thing. The guy just never came back or called back.

I'm very well pleased with American Standard Walk-In Tubs. During the purchase, everything was really good and I have no complaints. The salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. And the construction company that installed the tub did an excellent job. I got the tub mostly for my wife and she likes it because she has arthritis. She goes down there, sits in it and let the jets go on and that gives her some relief. We just have a shower before but now, we have a tub that we like real well.

I have rheumatoid arthritis in my knees and we were convinced that a walk-in tub is what I needed. I can sit in that tub and the jets will blow on my knees and then massage my arms and feet. Instead of getting out in the winter and go to the fitness center to get in the whirlpool, I can do my exercises in my walk-in tub. We called American Standard and a guy from Texas came out and gave us a demonstration at our convenience. I was impressed by his honesty. He told me it was my decision and he was just gonna show me the benefit. And he wasn’t one of those guys who pushes to make us buy. We didn’t feel like we were made to buy. After he demonstrated it, we thought about it. Then they came out and measured everything.
The installation was outstanding. They came in and did everything they had to do and got out of our way. While they did an excellent job, my only regret is that I had the installer put the long panel on that tub to pull yourself out straight up and down instead of crossways. Still, our American Standard tub is one of the best investments we’ve made.

The installers were excellent and they did a very nice job. But my wife said that they scratched up our vinyl front porch and the wood in our bathroom when they were taking out the other stuff. Also, we weren't told that there was a senior's discount for the tub. Nevertheless, the walk-in tub works fine and makes it easier for my wife to get in the shower because she doesn't have to step over the tub. I would recommend American Standard to friends. We've had a fine experience with American Standard. When we talked to their salesman about the different companies, about some other brochures we had and that we’d look around, he told us with the pros of the tub we got and the pros and cons of the other tubs that we did not get. The installation went well but one jet was not working so I called and they sent the installer back out to look at the jets. But when he was filling up the tub, he forgot to lock the door and flooded our bathroom and part of our new carpet.
I called and talked to someone at American Standard. I told them the problem and that the carpet was ruined as soon as he got in. I asked who was going to pay for my carpet because I just installed it. It was a couple months old. They gave me somebody out in Texas somewhere. And this lady said that she would call the next day but I never got any calls back. So I had to call them and tell them that as of that point, the carpet looked fine. But there was no follow up on the experience that we had there. Other than that, everything else was fine. I would tell others to give me a call and try out the tub. We enjoy our tub. Although we don’t use it every single day, it works very well when we have backaches.

The tub I had was unsafe and I really needed to something. I started comparing products on the internet. KOHLER has a good product and they stand behind their products, so I called them first. But their price was thousands of dollars higher. I chose American Standard for the price as well as their reputation. There are other companies out there and they didn't have the name reputation, and I was really strong on that. Then, as soon as I signed the contract with American Standard, people came out of the woodwork telling me about their bad experiences with other companies. It was great concern that I'd made a wrong choice but I didn't meet anybody that had an experience with American Standard.
My experience with American Standard Walk-In Tubs was excellent. I had redone a shower through Home Depot a few years before that but we didn't test whether or not the water turned on. And for a while, we didn't find out that the water wasn't working because it was an extra shower. So, American Standard did it the way I wanted it done and they tested it. Part of what they do at the completion is to use a stopwatch and they fill the tub. And then, they mark that on the last form that you sign before they leave, so that it filled in this amount of time. And then they empty the tub and fill that time in.
The American Standard rep was very personable. He was informed about his product and he was able to answer all my questions without having to say, "I'll get back to you." He was a good salesman, he was very relaxed, and there was no high pressure. Also, American Standard has a really good process. Once they make the sale, they assign you to a person who then becomes your liaison for all things. Her role was to answer all my questions, but I asked them questions that only the installer could answer. What they did was put me in contact with the installer, which was unusual. The installer was really the lead installer and he was a really nice guy. But he was a little uncomfortable talking to the customer and he said it was unusual that we talked. But the whole process worked out.
The actual installation was one day but we had to delay it several times. The contract was signed right about this time last year but it was installed in June because I decided I had to remove two doors to do it. My boyfriend works and it was very nice that the installers were very cooperative scheduling and of moving the date further. It took all the pressure off us. Also, American Standard didn't make the tub until they had an install date. So, the factory was very cooperative too, and all of this was coordinated through the liaison.
I am mobile and I happen to like to take soaks. The previous tub was a garden tub that had a platform around it and it had a step. But I never thought of using the step as that was like a deathtrap. It was as much work to get in that tub as it was to get on a horse and it was not a good scenario. I was looking towards the future and I wanted to have something that I could soak in safely. And that's when I got interested in the American Standard walk-in tub. I'm a retired nurse and with everything I do to the house, I'm looking at a future sale even if it's 15 years down the road. With everything surrounding it, I basically have a handicapped bathroom. I've got a good product in there and it's engineered well.

Nobody ever came to fix it so my son finally fixed it. But as far as what they did and on the site, they were fine. They were professional and they explained everything to me. It was just that the follow through on the repairs to my bathroom didn’t happen although I called them about it. It may have been a local contractor type thing. Nevertheless, I've recommended them to others.

I’m old enough so I need help. A lady that lives about 10 miles came in and we were both employed with Home Care in this county. She was so wonderful, so I got in touch with her when I got to the point that I needed help because I knew how good she was and I asked her to come and help me and she said she would. So, she came here and my daughter and her husband decided to move in with me because they didn’t think I was able to do it alone in my house and I did not want to leave my house. I wanted to stay here because I love it here and I’ve been here since 1948. She had American Standard Walk-In tub installed and she loved it.
The local plumber said this house was too small and there was no way they could get one of those tubs in here. My daughter said I’m not moving in there unless we had one of those tubs, so we called the salesman and it was okay for him, but he sold us the most expensive one. That disappointed me because we really couldn’t afford $15,000 for that tub. And it never occurred to any of us to ask if they had a little less expensive one. We got a letter in the mail that we could have gotten a thousand dollars back but he wouldn’t budge on that. The person that recommended this tub to us said that if they sold a tub to someone that they recommended it to, they could get a thousand dollars. I called the salesman and he just wouldn’t listen and he said there was no way. I just found out that we’re older and an easy target and they took advantage of that.
I love that tub. I used to hate taking a shower and now with that lovely tub, I have no problem at all, putting my leg over that high tub side and trying to get it situated in there. It took the installers one day to install it. They were extremely efficient and very professional and did a wonderful job. They cut a hole in the bedroom next to the bathroom and slid the tub in there. The only trouble was our water heater isn’t big enough and we can’t afford the $1,800 to get a bigger water heater, so we can’t use the jet tub. But other than that, I’m really happy with it. Everything went well as far as the installation went and I was really pleased with the people who put it in. My experience with American Standard Walk-In Tubs was okay. The people were good and professional. And the lady that comes and helps me says that it was very complimentary of the installation that they did.

I had a wonderful experience with American Standard. The people who installed it were marvelous. It could not have been better. I had written in, online, saying I was interested. The next thing I knew, someone phoned me and wanted to know more about it like where it had to be installed. I told them to tell me how soon they could do it and then I would be ready. They thought it could be about mid-June but it was somewhat later. They probably had too many people filled in at the same time that I wanted it but it all got done beautifully and I have loved it.
Later on, while the men were installing it, they wanted to know if the toilet arrived and I told them it didn't. They told me to let them know if it did because if they were here, they could install it. Otherwise, they would have to find somebody else. They found somebody who was in my same zip code, but they were some distance away from us. I hadn't heard from the people before but the two that they sent in to do the job were here a very short time, and everything has been splendid.

We were not happy with the process once we signed the papers. The tub was of great quality but our salesman dropped off the face of the earth and there were issues with the different workman, for instance the electrician they contract with I swear was high when he showed up. Later on another project we had to redo all the wiring. Cost us about 1500 on top of what we paid. The products were not explained only the one tub they were pushing at the time. I have long legs and the tub installed was too short and we paid over 12K for a tub that could not get full use out of. There were many construction issues and I won't go into those. The local managers and home office contacts really tried to work out the difficulties. It was just an all around bad experience.

My husband has got back problems too and it helps him as well. We love the walk-in tub we got from American Standard and I’d tell people to get one. As a matter of fact, we have already advised several of our friends that have back problems to get one.

American Standard's sales representative did a good job. He explained the product but I had some knowledge of it so it was a little different than with somebody who didn’t know about American Standard or about the tub itself. I was amazed at how good the installers were. They had a small tight spot to put the tub in and they got it in there and sealed it up and did a great job. The only thing is I'm getting some odor out of it. And I don’t understand why that's the case. If we don’t bathe in it in three days, it's like the trap may be drying out and letting the gas in. Other than that, I knew what to expect and American Standard lived up to it. I had a good experience. The tub was more for my wife than for me. She uses it a lot more than I do and it works out really well for her.

American Standard was a little cheaper than other bathtub companies. However, when the salesman came, we did not want the toilet for $500. So, we told him, "Eliminate it." But, then, when the installers came, we decided we wanted it. So, they called him and told him we wanted it. Then, they said it will be in the next day. But, we never got it. Somebody goofed somewhere. We called them but nothing happened. So, we just forgot about it and kept the old one. But the installers worked very well. The doors were bigger and it was on one floor. They said everything worked out for them, and they got it. They put a little extra time in and finished it one day. So, that was good. However, the caulking was breaking loose in different places around the tub. But they said everything was guaranteed.

I knew about American Standard because we had a toilet fixture in our house in Florida replaced with an American Standard toilet. We were having trouble with all the other toilet fixture brands and the plumber advised us to get an American Standard toilet, which we did, and it functions perfectly. I saw ads about the walk-in tubs of three different companies, but I remembered our experience with the American Standard toilet fixture, so I decided to get the American Standard walk-in tub. In addition, I researched and found that the American Standard walk-in tub empties within two minutes. That’s important because the tubs of the other companies are slow in emptying. They brag that their tubs have a heater, but they need a heater because you’ll freeze to death waiting for the water to get out of the tub.
I’m a sales trainer by profession and the sales representative of American Standard was very professional. He certainly knew the product. He reassured us of the weight and the features of the tub, which I had known anyway, but he did this in a gentle way and he wasn’t pushy. The installers were excellent. They were extremely diligent and worked arduously. They had some problems with the electrical connections and they went out and bought extra circuit breakers. There were some tiles that had to be removed and they replaced these carefully. We enjoy the tub and I would recommend American Standard to anyone. In fact, I've talked to a lady who was about to buy something called a step-in tub and I told her not to do that.

Went thru online site. I asked for a home visit to ensure that tub would fit my tiny bath. California call center responded and set up time. Said another agent would call to confirm. The call to confirm came; agent was rude, pushy and demanded information that is none of American Standard's business! First I was put on hold for a long time and then she came back again demanding the information. The second time she hung up without canceling appointment. I was home waiting for the rep to show up. Needless to say, I was furious. My time is valuable and I could have been attending to other business. The robot calls also are a great annoyance. I won’t recommend or spec American Standard; I’m retired but still do a lot of business. I’m not applying for a credit card, insurance, etc. I’m buying a tub and toilet! I think your policy needs to be re-done. Personal information is just that! Calls were on Wed March 7.

I kept putting off walk-in tub companies and then when the next one came in, I did it because it says American Standard. The sales representative was hard-nosed but so was I. She brought the price down a little. But I wish I would have waited and got a couple of other estimates from other companies too. I'm handicapped, that's why I bought the damn tub.
During the installation, they took off my doorway and they had to cut into it and it didn’t leave a very pretty sight when they were done and over with it. They screwed up the doorway and I don't like how they painted. And they cut all the stuff out and put the tub in. The tub was narrower than the bathtub that I had. And they left a big gaping hole. That did not make me happy because one could look right down under my house and that meant any varmints that ever climbed under my house could be up in there and would get in my bathroom. I was afraid to go in the bathroom for fear I'd find a critter there that's going to get me. I have hardwood floors and I could see right down to the dirt under my house and the raised foundation.
And on the end of the tub, they should put things where water doesn’t go down on the floor all the time. I got this water problem when I'm showering. Water goes along the length of the tub next to the wall and in the back. I've never liked that ever since I've had the tub and I've had the tub for a long time now. I'm not satisfied. I like the tub but I don’t like the workmanship that they went through getting it done.

I called American Standard and a rep came by. My walk-in tub was installed in two days and everything went pretty good. But there were a couple little details here that I didn’t catch when they left and it wasn’t 100% finished. They had to cut into the doorframe, take that out to get the tub in then put it back. Around the bottom, it was not sealed off like it should have been. But it was not all that bad so I didn't call them back out. I haven’t even bothered to do that myself. The tub is better to use and I like it. It's easier to get in to and it works fine. It fills in a hurry and drains pretty quick. At my age, it’s getting a little bitty shaky standing up in the shower. I’ve been satisfied with American Standard and I would recommend them. I’ve even used their commodes for a long time.

I was in the military for 24 years active duty. In almost every bathroom I walked in, or latrine as they call it, had American Standard products in it. Urinals, commodes, sinks, and faucets. And so, for 24 years, I saw nothing but American Standard on the base. And, finally, when I decided to go looking, I immediately went out on the internet and dialed up walk-in tubs and looked at several of the others. And then, I went back to American Standard and looked at it and said, "That's the one."
Their rep came from San Diego and I live 200 miles from San Diego. And she drove up. She got here one night about 5:30. We spent about an hour and a half. She took pictures of my jacuzzi tub where it was going to be removed and the walk-in tub placed. And then, she left. And I got a call that said, "Okay. This is the date we're set up to do it." The foreman showed up with four workers. He went off to get some tile. They got here at quarter to 9:00 in the morning. They left at 5:30, completely done. They built a wooden frame for it because it was taller than my other tub and set it in place. Framed it, tiled it and showed me how to use it and said goodbye.
I'm 78, going to be 79 soon and my body is not as flexible. And I only play golf once a week. So, the day after golf I'm usually a little stiff. I use it after playing golf. I will go in and sit in a hot tub with water swirling around. And then, I'll feel better. One of the main reasons we also bought it was my wife had back surgery and a hip surgery a few years apart. And she uses it too.
It's an excellent product. I love the fact that it has a vacuum. It has a rapid draining system that you don't have to sit and wait for the water to drain normally. It evacuates very quickly. And then, you can open the door and step out, the last little water runs out. It's very good about that. So, after you sit there for a while, and you're starting to turn into a prune, you can get up and get out. However, it was a little more than I expected to pay. But I didn't mind paying for it. It has proved its worth. I have also recommended it to about 15 friends.

I’m 82 years old and somewhere along the way I knew I could no longer get into a whirlpool bath which my wife had so I want something that had a walk-in that was safe and got American Standard Walk-In tub. I was happy with the sales rep. He did everything he was supposed to do but I wasn’t too happy with the installation. I’m located in Tallahassee. I think they operate out of Orlando and I don’t know where the company was in. They put the tub in and then they had to put false plates around the wall to match the tub so it would look like a complete installation. The caulking and all of the plates they put all around the tub have cracked up open after a couple of months. I also managed to break the hot water spigot, the stem on it and I picked up and called the company. And they immediately mailed me another one. So there’s a response from the company that was good.
I was raised where their name has always been quality and I have no reason to believe that the product they gave will not be a quality product and it’s not their fault that it got installed poorly. I would recommend it good. I think the walk-in tub has a good quality and it looks very good. I would tell my friends and they should go and try it. They should look and talk to somebody. It wasn’t even American Standard people who put it in. It was the sort of peripheral people I hired and they didn’t realize the problem I’ve got.

I started researching on walk-In tubs since I needed one and my research led me to American Standard Walk-In Tubs. I got one from them, but I was upset when they installed it because the guy drilled through the wall into my mother’s bathroom. Instead of apologizing, his attitude was just, “Well, things happen,” and I was really surprised at that, and I didn’t know how to patch things up.
Also, we had somebody come out here because the water wouldn’t shut off. I was in the tub and I couldn’t shut the water off. Finally, I got it off but I had to shut the water down in the house since I didn’t know how to shut it off from the tub itself. The next time that we used the tub, though, it didn’t work, so we had to have them come out and they fixed it. The customer service was fine, especially this last time. They were really good about getting somebody out here right away. Thankfully, the American Standard people got here in a good, timely manner since the water was hard to shut down. They were quick and they came on time, and that was an A plus and I really liked them.
Then I mentioned to them about the hole in the wall and I showed them what had happened. They were really nice about it. They said that I would need to have smoothing out done for it and get it patched up and painted, but this hasn’t been done yet and I don’t know when it will be done. They told me that the person responsible for the damage no longer works for them as he had been fired. But I was disappointed in their answer that it wasn’t a huge, cantaloupe-size hole in the wall. The fact is that there was damage done to the wall that wasn’t there before. I was also disappointed that they didn’t hire somebody to come out and fix it. I didn’t push the matter, but I wasn’t happy about it.
My mother was terrified of the tub at first, but now she loves it. Mom is 92 now, so the walk-in tub is much better for her and she said that she’d certainly recommend it. She regularly uses the tub and I’m able to get her consistently clean. She wouldn’t take a bath if we just had a bathtub here. I do things with the tub that my mother can’t do, like I slide on down to the deep part and I go up to my neck in the water and sit there for a few minutes. My cousin came over and asked if we liked the tub, and I said, “Oh yeah, we love it.” Then she said that we've got to sit in the tub and when the water goes out, we'd be cold, but I I said, “No. It’s fast.”
Now I need to call American Standard about the jets because they don’t work and my fan doesn’t work too. The jets were working before and my mother really enjoyed that part. But they made a weird noise, so I thought of shutting them off for a little bit. But they’re not working right at all anymore. Nevertheless, we’re very happy that we have the tub.

But he was persistent. I go to work on Saturday and he called me again.
He waited around and he came after I got to the house. The installation experience was really nice. The people that came and put my tub in told me what they had to do. They broke my old tub up and carried it with them, then they brought the tub in and what they did was amazing. I like that I can sit down on my walk-n bathtub and I got all the features in it. My father-in-law's wife has Alzheimer's, and she's in a nursing home. He was hoping she could come back home, and for it, he's trying to work a tub in. He got the American Standard Walk-In Tub in October but it was not working when we got here. The plug-in part and all the stuff was installed in a sloppy manner. It took us about two months just to get a hold of someone to actually come out and fix it. Then, it broke again and we had to have someone come again. We pretty much called them every two weeks and we would just get a runaround. We even called the actual company down in Texas and they said they didn't handle that type of stuff. We had to call someone else. Then, one of the biggest problems is they don't have anybody in this area that actually fixes their tubs. So, they had to hire someone that's about four hours away to come up here to do it.
The only thing I give American Standard is that my father-in-law was trying to get the tub fixed, and he was on the phone with them at that time and he tripped, fell, and he broke his nose and arm, and they called 911. I have a Liberator tub from American Standard Walk-In Tubs. I have had a lot of arthritis surgery and when I had all that surgery going on and was immobile, I needed something like that in my house. The people who came and put the tub in and the salesman were all great. I couldn't have asked for finer folks to be here and that was good. I said my American Standard salesman explained a lot more to me than any of the other salesmen that came by. They have a good policy. I have a number to call if I need service. I have better hardware and I don't get some plastic stuff. They're in and out in a day. They're going to take out your tub and inspect, and if they think you have a leak or a problem, they would go from there.
There are things that I have experienced lately with my plumbing and suddenly, I can't run the water into this bathtub very quickly, and that's been a problem. I turn the hot water on completely and barely turn on the cold water because it comes in so much better. I have to adjust that cold water for it to come in. Since it has slowed up, I sit there and wait for the bathtub to fill up. The stopper at the bottom doesn't stay and it works down. And a lot of times, when I have the pump on and start to let the water out, the stopper will close when I have it open. It has gone out a little then, it closes so I have to watch out for that and I try not to step on it. But I just usually sit down and take a shower in there anyway. I'm not in there very long but if I want to be in there very long, it's a long process to get that to fill up and to let out.
The people at American Standard Walk-In Tubs said not to use anything except vinegar and water to clean it out but the vinegar and water parts weren't cleaning out my bathtub. I put Clorox on the seal around the tub and sprayed it in a pump bottle very lightly. I thought that will take the discoloration out because it looked pinkish and germy but it didn't take it out. I put Cellaguard on there full strength and it took the discoloration off except at the bottom where it settled. Now, it's a yellow cast and I can't get that out. The tub looks like it needs to be replaced or it's old. But it works so none of these issues that I have are horribly important.
I called over a month ago about somebody to come and look at these problems that I have. We can't remedy them so they said they would have somebody come here. I live out in the boonies so when you come to my house or even to the town that I live in, it’s not very easy to get someone to service. Overall, I like it. And for somebody who has arthritis, who cannot step over into a bathtub and get up after they've gotten down, it is very important to have. The main drawback is the expenditure of the people, not just American Standard but all of those tubs. I have recommended American Standard Walk-In Tubs and all the other tubs to friends of mine who have arthritis issues.

The guy who came and installed the tub did the most professional job I’ve seen in a long time. The quality of work was just absolutely fantastic. I’ve been a maintenance guy all my life and I look at things differently than other people. And this guy did such a perfect job that if you try to find something that he did wrong, you couldn’t find it. It took him a day and maybe five or six hours to complete the work. He was so quick. I couldn’t believe he did this all by himself. We had an extra bedroom and we had him stay for the night instead of having to go and get a hotel room.
The tub is not as practical as I thought it would have been though. I’ve only used it six or seven times. I got to fill that up with water. And I wish that the seat would have been lower because it only covers your part way. It would have been nicer if it was down a couple more inches. And it didn’t have the heated seat which would have been a nice feature too. It works better to massage your body than to go take a bath. It’s a good massager and it’s comfortable. I’m older and that’s a better benefit.

My inspection showed that the following still needed to be done: Bottom of tub was not caulked properly, and linoleum cut away from tub and needed to replace linoleum. Wrong toilet installed, unable to use properly, plus pedestal does not cover old pedestal so they left it, stained and linoleum cut away from toilet pedestal and needed to replace linoleum. Tile cut away from tub, then left that way.
Surround enclosure was never replaced, old enclosure left up with holes in walls, contract called for new enclosure to be installed. No word for over two weeks. Called them and asked to leave my phone number and name and they would get back to me. The next call I received was on August 10, 2016, this was from the Liberation Safety Tub Survey. They wanted me to rate their tub from 0 to 3, I gave the tub 3. Then they wanted me to rate the installation, I gave it a 0. Called Eric on August 22nd, gave him info about toilet that I had in here before they replaced it. August 30th called Eric **, left message for him to call me back.
4 MONTHS. October 11, 2016 Curt called and said that his truck broke down in Montana and he would not be able to get to my bathroom till October 17 or October 18, 2016 (ANOTHER DELAY). October 20, 2016 Eric called and I told him what needs to be replaced, he will get a work order from customer service for the following: Bottom of tub was not caulked properly, and linoleum cut away from tub and needed to replace linoleum. Wrong toilet installed, unable to use properly, plus pedestal does not cover old pedestal so they left it, stained and linoleum cut away from toilet pedestal and needed to replace linoleum. Tile cut away from tub, then left that way, replace linoleum. Surround enclosure was never replaced, old enclosure left up with holes in walls, contract called for new enclosure to be installed. Installer would then call me back tomorrow to set up a schedule for repair of installation problems and toilet.
5 MONTHS. Completed sometime after November 18.Still needed to buy a new Hot Water Tank, Salesman told me that my tank was good enough for the tub. Most tubs need 50 Gallon tanks, but since mine was a newer 40 Gallon tank, I should have no problem with it. Since I have not been able to use my tub, they deducted the purchase of a hot water tank from my final bill, which was fine with me, but I have not used the tub at this point. When I finally used the tub it was inadequate, the water only filled up the tub with lukewarm water to the top of the seat with 8 more inches needed to fill the tub.
7 MONTHS. January 18, 2017 I talked to Jack ** the Sales Manager, and he produced a Price Worksheet, it's a pretty copy, however this was the first time that I've seen it, and it does not have my Initials or my signature on it. I am having a hard time believing in the validity of this document. 9 MONTHS. March 7, 2017 I had bought a new Hot Water Tank 55 Gallons and the tank was delivered on March 29, 2017 and installed on March 30, 2017. The 1st day that I used the tub with the new Hot Water Tank, MORE PROBLEMS. The inline water heater that keeps the water at the same temperature as it went into the tub, was not working. These people have been in Business for more than 150 Years, I have one question ----- HOW???
Sorry to hear about this! We are escalating this and having our customer service team give you call right away to follow up with anything that needs to be done.
