    I moved and American Residential Warranty was suggested to me. I had used a different company where I lived previously and I decided to give ARW Home a try. I’ve had coverage for nine months and there was a wide variety of options when I picked it out. ARW is there to help you out when something is broken in your house. But when I had a problem with my HVAC system, it took five different times for somebody to finally figure it out. The first company that ARW sent out had no idea what was wrong. One technician came twice, another came once, and then another came once, but the issue still wasn’t resolved. I was promised by a manager that a technician would come on a specific day, but at 11:00, they called and said he had a doctor’s appointment and wouldn’t be there at 12:00, so it was another week before anyone came.

    Even after that, the problem still existed and the guy couldn’t figure it out. I called again, and ARW finally sent another company that identified the issue and got it fixed. But on the day that the company was supposed to install the part, ARW called and I explained what was going on. They canceled them and reassigned the original company, which didn't know what was going on. It was a big mess. I was also promised callbacks from a manager at least three times and never received them. I’m not 100% happy with ARW.

    I called them today and found out that the refrigerator I have has a known problem, so they’re not going to cover it. I was upset about that. They said they would charge a service fee, and if it wasn’t due to normal wear and tear, I would lose the deposit and it wouldn’t be covered. Now I have to find another company because it’s a known issue with this Samsung refrigerator. To be out that money and still have to call another company while they keep the deposit is wrong. So I wasn't happy about that either.

    I might reach out to Samsung but from what I’ve seen and read online, they don’t do anything about it. They’re probably not going to pay to have someone come out and fix it. They might just send me parts, and it’s doable, but I don’t know. Now I’ve had to find another company, which is going to cost me and won’t be warranted. I tried to explain to ARW what the issue was, and they said that if the technician comes out and finds it’s not normal wear and tear, then they wouldn’t cover it. When you look up the model number, the issue comes up, and that’s not my fault. I had no way of knowing when I moved into the house that this model had a problem. But most of the people I have talked to have been fairly cordial. They were all professional and weren't rude, but they can only do what they can do.

    American Residential’s coverage was comparable to others but I’m not too satisfied. They don't take care of the outside plumbing. My hot water tank went out, and I fixed it myself. They wouldn't change whatever needed to be done and by the time they got there, it was already done. The repair guys have been out a few times. I can light it, but it won’t stay lit, so something else needs to be done. I spent $125, and nothing was done. That’s the part I don’t like because I need hot water and I’m not going to wait days without it when I can light it, but it keeps going out.

    The most recent problem I had was plumbing backing up and I wasn’t going to let sewage sit like that. The repair guy came through Universal. It was after hours and he did some roto-rooting, and I haven’t had that backup since. As far as the plan, you’re paying for something, but when they get there, if it’s halfway working, they don’t want to do anything, even though something is still wrong. The washing machine has an issue, but ARW told me it’s not covered under the plan, which is aggravating. It’s not the washing machine leaking, but something is wrong with the knobs. I have to keep it on one setting or nothing works, and that should be covered under the warranty.

    I’m paying too much for getting nothing done. It’s not just one company either. I got mixed up in the beginning and ended up paying ARW and American Home Shield, and it was the same scenario with both. I’ve been dealing with this for about three years. One year, I paid ARW outright, and then somehow it got switched to a payment plan, so now I’m paying month by month. That didn’t feel like a good deal to me. I didn’t even know who to call or which company to deal with, and I’m just not happy with it. Nothing got done, and it’s my fault.

    I knew about ARW Home when I was purchasing my home and I’ve had the warranty with them since July. They cover most of the internal stuff in the house, like the washing machine, water heater, dishwasher and plumbing. ARW’s rates are fair and they get a tech out fast. I’ve filed four claims and they always give good customer service. The online service was easy and simple. I like it. I just got the washing machine fixed and had the water heater replaced. And both of those experiences were good.

    When I make a claim with ARW, they get back in touch with me. But I can't get my claim fulfilled and it's because they can't find anybody to come out. My hot water heater went out and I needed some service for that. They stayed in touch with me to let me know that they were trying to get somebody, but it never happened. So they sent me my refund. The representative who assisted me was very nice, though.

    I had the pleasure of speaking with the "Good Karen" in regards to my payment issue.     There was an ad for ARW Home but we hadn’t even thought about a home warranty until then. At first, they were good about getting right on it and their fee was reasonable. But on the last claim we put in, the fee has well over doubled and we didn't hear anything from them for two or three weeks. We thought our freezer was covered and then, they called and asked questions. They wanted to know if there were any other freezers in the house and I said we have a small chest freezer and the upright one is our main freezer. They said they were taking the small chest freezer as the main one and if we wanted the upright one fixed, we'd have to pay another 750, a tag-on on our policy. Then, they said that they covered a lot of things in our swimming pool in the back. But they didn't.

    The contractor was good but people should check other home warranties before they go with ARW to see how they rate against them. We've been with ARW for five years now and they've done well by us most of the time. But I'm seriously thinking about switching to different policies with someone else because this last time, they weren't good at all. I was also very upset because the price went from $65 to 150. So it really jumped.

    Updated on 05/02/2026: I was told on multiple occasions that I would be reimbursed for paying for a technician to come to diagnose the refrigerator since they could not get anyone to come. I paid the $132 for the technician and submitted the bill. I called to ask about my reimbursement and was told I will not get my money back. Mind you I paid the $125 fee that was taken out immediately when I filed the claim.I called last Friday April 24, 2026 around 11:10 am and spoke with customer service and was told I would not receive my reimbursement.

    I reiterated several times that I was canceling my warranty and updating my response on Consumer Affairs that I am not being reimbursed for the technician fee since they couldn't get anyone to come diagnose the refrigerator from their side after them trying to find one multiple times. I have given ARW multiple occasions to fix this issue and they have refused. DO NOT PURCHASE A HOME WARRANTY FROM ARW!! I should not have to say anything about receiving money that is owed to me. They think it is fine to take the service fee and a technician fee for which was recorded several times telling me to get a technician and supply the bill for reimbursement. Every time I called they make sure to remind me that the call is being recorded of which I say that's fine.

    Original Review: Refrigerator quit working on March 20, 2026. Called to report. First recording said no available on weekends!! Really?? Advised that it is medical as both my husband and I are diabetic and have insulin in the Refrigerator. Got call back Saturday afternoon where she took all information. Was given a contractor in about an hour. Of course, not open until Monday. Uploaded Model and Serial numbet as requested. Called first thing Monday to contractor referred. Was told they refused the order because they could not repair it!! Excuse me?? Didn't even come out. Called ARW and was told it would be given to another contractor which could take an additional 24 hours. Again Advised of medical condition since these calls are supposed to be recorded. Continuing to be told this is being escalated. After 3 hours, still no new contractor assigned. Called back again to check on issue. Given same run around about it is being escalated.

    Was told could find own contractor and pay. Ummm why did I pay $125 to you for nothing? I find it hard to believe there are no available contractors in area. Found one in 10 minutes. Called ARW again to give them Sears information. Guess what??? Run around again on the phone. I continue to remind them again of insulin being ruined since we are supposed to be on a recorded line. Asked to speak to a higher person. Was put on hold for almost 10 minutes to hear...NO AVAILABLE SUPERVISORS!!! Am I shocked?? Nope. They do everything in their power not to pay for any services. Was told all I need is an invoice from a contractor of parts needed or if it can't be repaired. Would've got that if the contractor referred would have shown up and did the diagnostic check while giving an invoice. As of Monday afternoon, no work orders have been sent to our email of how fast this claim is being escalated. Will keep everyone updated.

    I believe I got scammed about $600? Do not do business with these people. I auto paid $54.99 monthly. Got an ID card & policy #. Used this policy # to claim a furnace repair. Called the only phone # I could find & rep told me they have numerous subsidiaries. No policy with American Residential Warranty & they didn't know where or to whom my $54.99 per month was still going? On this site I just noticed the company name changed to ARW Home??? So I stopped my debit card to stop payments going to someone??? This has got to be a scam & I suggest calling state attorney to put on fraud list!!!

    When I purchase the policy I was told there was a deductible then I go to make a claim and they tell me I have to pay my deductible first which is basically paying for this service to come out there to check out my appliance and then they issue you a check based on what the how old is and how much life is left in it well how much time.     My experience over a decade with ARW HOME is the mix review. Starting with a five-star and ending with a minus Star, so disappointing! If it would’ve just of been one or two of the representatives, I probably would’ve stayed but over working with over a dozen phone calls trying to get one issues resolved was more than frustrating. It started out me helping a neighbor getting their Heating And Cooling system serviced. So I was on their property next-door meeting with a service company that I had met through ARW years ago. They no longer have a working relationship with ARW because of ARW internal issues. I UNDERSTAND NOW WHY.

    I was told by ARW because I have a service company there at my house, they were refusing to send somebody out to my house. I told them I was speaking to somebody while I was on hold for the hour about somebody else’s issues and that the company that was standing next to me was speaking about my next door neighbor property that I was on at the time, not mine. (BTW, the people I was speaking with would not work to service with ARW anymore, so that is why is was calling to get help with ARW where I paid to get a service account.)

    ARW when they finally came on the line, heard me finish speaking to the service company next-door (the house that is owned by an elderly person). I told them I was next door. Can you please hold on while I finish with them. When I went back to them 30 sec later, I started to open a claim for my property. They said because I had a company out there already I was being refused service from ARW?????

    Instead of sending a service company out to see what the issue was with my personal Heating And Cooling and to see that nothing had been opened or tampered with. They decided to call me a liar and not just one of them, but the whole company!!! They said they have recording, of course, they have recording. It’s about my next-door, neighbors' issues. (How about my next-door neighbor’s Bill, they could’ve looked at to see that I wasn’t lying.) I’ve never been more insulted, felt left out on the curb than with ARW! I would not use ARW. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION! They have lost my trust.

We’re experiencing a major plumbing issue in our home, and we only have one bathroom. Their policy of a 24–48 hour response time makes sense if a family has multiple bathrooms, but in our situation it left us completely stuck. We paid the $120 service fee, we pay our monthly premium, and the plumber who came out said he couldn’t fix the issue and would send someone else. No one ever called back. We called multiple times, and still no one came, no updates, no explanations nothing.

    Meanwhile, we have a family member in the home with serious health needs who relies on having a functioning bathroom. Instead, we were told to use makeshift options and empty waste outside. On top of that, we were denied a refund because the plumber “made a diagnosis,” even though we were left unable to flush a toilet, take a shower, or even wash our hands. It was unacceptable and disrespectful.

    Everyone we spoke to at that company likely went home, used their restroom, and took their shower that night without a second thought. Yet they left our household without basic sanitation after taking our money during a time when my mother is already dealing with enough stress. We even have family coming into town, and they still offered no urgency, no compassion, and no solution. The way we were treated was absolutely ridiculous.

    The math did not work out for me on this one. I had two events over a couple years. One was my refrigerator went out. It took them a week to find someone and by that time I'd lost all my food. They ended up paying out about $500 minus the amount the tech charged for declaring the fridge dead. So if I hadn't had the warranty I would have SAVED money. They purposely hide the amount they'll reimburse you for appliances, since the amount is so low.

    Next my heater went out. In November in Alaska. After charging me the deductible and taking over a week (a week with no heat) , they let me know they couldn't find anyone to come look at it. I had to do everything on my own. I can only hope I am refunded my deductable. I called AWR to cancel my service, the customer service rep said she had, and then AWR called me to ask why I hadn't paid! They had no record of me canceling my service. So I believe AWR is essentially a scam and cannot recommend.

    ARW is a scam intent on only making money. They are incompetent. They had zero “authorized agents” in Bellingham, Wa to make heating systems repairs. They want their customers to do their job and find a contractor to agree to work with them. They want the contractor to complete many forms and send photos to ARW for them to consider the possibility of paying for a claim. They charge $125 to simply file a claim. There is no guarantee that ARW will do anything whatsoever with your claim other than charge more money for the privilege to talk to them.

    When I called to cancel my warranty, I was informed that the cancellation would also apply to my claim. Having decades experience in claims, cancellation of a warranty policy doesn’t mean that any pending claim is automatically cancelled with the warranty. A complaint to the Better Business Bureau went unanswered by ARW as well as my email to their CEO. If you like throwing your money away, sign up for an ARW Home Warranty Service program because that’s what you will be doing. Read.

Recently, a contractor came out in days and fixed a light problem that we had with one of the switches. They were excellent. I'd give them an A+.     Filing claims with American Residential Warranty has been seamless. We recently did one for the ice maker. It was a little sensor that had to be replaced on it. I do my claims online, then a contractor calls me back me back. They also send some text messages, so we know what to expect and when they are coming. They are knowledgeable and they take care all of our needs. It's not as quick of a response as we would like, but it isn't unbearable.

    At first, we were getting bombarded with calls from American Residential Warranty to sell us another aspect of the program. I didn't want any of those other services and got a little frustrated with the add-on calls. But other than that, they are easy to work with and they provide the service that we need. We feel protected in having their service.

    My experience yesterday wasn't good at all. I'm getting conflicting information from them. I have two garage doors, and they told me I couldn't file a claim on both of them at the same time so I filed one claim. When I tried to file another, they told me I couldn't do it, and it wasn't covered. When I called back to talk to a representative, they said I was covered. But when I went back to them to file the claim, they said I'm not covered.

    When I got my coverage with ARW Home, I told them I wanted everything in my house covered. That's why I paid such a high premium for it. But when I tried to use it, they said I wasn't covered. I'm trying to get me somebody that's gonna be more clear and clarify everything upfront with me, instead of when I try to make a claim, tell me I got to wait a year to do it. I don't think that's good. I have referred friends and family to ARW Home. They were pretty good at the time. I had no problems getting a claim. But this one just did it in. My friend and my sister got them based on my recommendation, but I will let them know what's what, and if they have double garages, they need to make sure that they're covered."

We went on vacation in the middle of the project and they worked around us.

    We got two shears, a feature wall, and the smart system. My husband does everything from his phone. We're so happy with the service. The kids and my husband were in the pool as much as they possibly could and were very happy. They're obsessed with it. As the pool got done, I was eight months pregnant. I plan on using it next summer when the baby's here. We have recommended Blue Haven to everyone we know.

    ARW denied my Sub-Zero repair & offered a buyout of $425. I am using that to defray my expense of $1600 to replace the compressor line & fresh food sensor. Appliance Repair Team did the work - they had been sent by your company & they did a great job. My fridge is now running like new. What has angered me the most is it took your team almost 2 weeks to deny it. During that time we were without a kitchen fridge. And to add insult to injury, I had to keep calling. Then your service department called to see how satisfied I was when the rejection hadn't been given. Unfortunately there's no way to give minus stars on this rating app.

    WARNING!! WARNING!! Do not purchase AMERICAN RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY (home warranty) even if it is 10.00 a month!! THEY ARE A LIAR AND A RIPOFF!! They don’t honor their word and promises. You will find out soon one day if you ignore what I say. I paid 73.00 a month over 5 years. Guess how much I got when my water heater broke down and can’t be fixed? They gave me 375.00. My deductible was 125.00, so I received only 250.00 towards a 2,000.00 new water heater. Can you believe ARW only gave me 250.00 from all those payments (73.00 monthly) which I paid faithfully monthly?

    I was promise if they can’t fix an appliance they will match the price to get a new appliance. Well, they lied again. I dropped them so fast because I refuse they get 73.00 a month from again ever. Those 73.00 that I am not paying anymore is paying for my new water heater. ARW is so dumb not realizing if they did me right they would have got their money back by the 73.00 monthly fees and still had a customer. They gets nothing!! Others will drop them soon and they won’t have anybody.

    They also work with plumbers who are scammers. I report a scammer (Young’s plumbing and sewer co. In NJ) who I think is owner. She was begging me over 10 times about saying I need a sewer line and to get a credit card in my name to pay her. She got so upset with me saying no, that she told me “don’t let me lose my cool” because I won’t let her scam me. She don’t know me because she don’t scare me at all. I reported her to ARW twice and they did nothing. Because I said no to the scammer she retaliated and lied on a report to ARW the date her plumber came to turn off my water heater so my home insurance would question me for waiting late to report the leak so I would have problems with my home insurance reimbursing me.

    Never get no home warranty from any company even the monthly fee is 1.00 a month especially with ARW. You will lose money and it will hurt you at the end. Make sure you investigate every home warranty co. carefully by checking with BBB or read others reviews under their company page name. Read everything carefully before signing your name to anything. ARW want your money but never planned to keep what they said on their contract.

    Please do not get a service plan through ARW Home Warranty, the staff and service is horrible, my husband pay $89.00 monthly plus each time a service man comes out we pay an additional $125 just to get an estimate and file a claim. Last week our hot water heater started leaking, and a ARW contractor came out and said it needed replacing. However, after two weeks of taking cold showers, plus water leaking all over the basement floor, we still don’t have service. The problem is a lack of communication between ARW and their contractors, I had to keep calling them to find out why is it taking so long to escalate our situation to get the work done, and ARW blamed their contractors while the plumbing contractors they hire, blame them.

    This is only our second claim with ARW home warranty in 2 years, and each time we called them we had to wait 2 to 3 weeks for service. The first time we called they would not cover the AC and we had to take their buy out option, which means you get less than a third of the payment refunded to replace the AC, so we had to spend over $4000.00 out of pocket to replace the AC unit. The hot water heater is another story, ARW staff claims they are having a hard time downloading the estimate breakdown that their contractors sent to them, now it’s going to take even longer to install the our hot water heater. I think home warranty plans are just a waste of time and money. Save your money, and when your appliances need repairs or replacing just hire a professional, or learn to repair it yourself on YouTube.

    On 8/25/2025, I contacted ARW for service on my home AC unit and also for Duct inspection. Of course I had to pay for 2 separate claims per company policy. I was initially assigned 2 contractors VHP Air Conditioning for the AC and Central Air and Heating for the ducts. After 2 days of not being contacted by either company, I placed a Call to VHP who informed me that they didn't service my area.

    I contacted ARW customer support and was informed that both claims have been referred to Central Air. I then contacted Central Air was was informed that they didn't handle my area and that the referral had been rejected on 8/25/2025. I recontacted ARW and I was referred on 8/29/2025 to Motili INC which subcontracted the job to ACCU-Temp Refrigeration for the AC and to Klemton Contracting Services for the duct inspection. Accu-Temp gave me an appt for 9/1/2020 between 8-12pm but never showed. When I called at 12:30 to verify I was still on the schedule, they confirmed. I called at 5:00 pm but their offices were closed. I still have not heard from Klemton after leaving a voice message on 8/29,2025. This is not the first time I have had a problem with ARW contractors, it's just the latest. Be aware that their sales people will say anything to get your business but ultimately the company will not live up to their words.

    I called American Residential Warranty regarding my air conditioner, and it’s still not fixed. I didn’t like the smugness of the girl that helped me. She kept calling me Miss Melinda, which is not my name, and it came across as nice-nasty rather than polite. She ignored the questions I was asking and kept pressing me to take the information she was giving me. She even gave me a repair place in Chicago when I’m in Los Angeles. I didn’t like the approach at all.

    I kept asking if I could get my own person, but she told me I needed to wait for them to call or wait two hours to talk to the repair place. If they could help, they would schedule something, and if not, I would have to call back again. I was telling her how hot it was, but instead of helping, she debated with me about the weather forecast, insisting it wouldn’t be as hot as I said. It was unnecessary to me.

    Her job was to assist me and make me happy, because I was not happy with her at all. I did end up getting my own person. It’s a little more repairs than expected because I need to get some kind of housing. It’s a central heating and air element that runs them both, which was blown out from a power outage. I need to get an estimate to present to ARW.

    In the past, I had no problem with them telling me that I could get my own person. They gave me that option up front when I had an issue with my refrigerator, which is what this girl I was talking to now should have done. I ended up having to replace it because it was too broken. It was too old. And the cost would exceed a brand new one. What’s frustrating is I’ve paid the 125 to do the claim and the fee to the person that came out, but my air conditioner is still not fixed. And even if I do use this contractor, I have to pay them and then try to get reimbursed.

    Honestly, I was ready to end my policy because I was just frustrated with the whole process. I have to pay to put in a claim. And then I still have to pay for somebody to come out. Add to that, I usually call to submit claims because when I try to do it online, they say it’s not in the system yet and I have to repeat the same information.

    I have been with American Residential for more than six years. Someone told me they could help cover my air conditioning unit. Submitting a claim has been very difficult for me. A lot of times, you can't get anyone who understands what you're saying. When you do get someone, they transfer you to another person. I’ve always heard American Residential say, “My air conditioner went out, and they were out the same day.” That’s not true. They schedule you. When my refrigerator went out, it was a week later before they scheduled someone to come do the repairs.

    I spoke to American Residential about my refrigerator and told the person it wasn’t cooling. He told me I might as well do a buy-out. I said I don’t want a buy-out. I want someone to come and look at it. I have a $3,000–$4,000 refrigerator and they’re going to give me $200? That can’t even buy a refrigerator. So someone came and replaced the coil in the back part to make it freeze. It’s functioning now.

    But it wasn’t the case with my washing machine. I called them back about 30 days after the repair and told them the tub started shaking again, like it kept going off-balance. The representative told me it was past my warranty and I would have to pay again.

    Despite these issues, the quality of contractors they sent out has been great. All of them. But the payments have gone up. I was paying $75, and now I’m paying $100 for someone to come out. I plan on staying with American Residential, but I don’t think I’d recommend them. The service is not like they portray it to be. I have recommended them two of my family members, though. My aunt has probably been with them for about five years now. And then my cousin, maybe about the same. She lives in a condo and she was having some issues, and I told her about it.

    I suspected that there would be an issue processing my payment this month as my old card on file had been cancelled due to fraudulent charge from a different company.     This last claim, ARW was pretty fast. The air went out, and they actually got me somebody that same day. But I have had some cases where I had to wait over a week, like when my refrigerator went out. Recently, I had a problem with my refrigerator and had to go through loops. I had to call the people I got it from, send a copy of the warranty, and call back. That was aggravating. It was going to be a week before somebody would come out here and fix it, and your food would go bad. But my husband googled it, unplugged it for several minutes, and plugged it back in. It started working again.

    I’ve had coverage with American Residential Warranty for five years, and the price is pretty good. But what I don’t like is that it has gone up pretty steeply. If you have a claim, it was $50, then it went up to $75, and now I found out it is $125. The price for a claim to get something fixed has actually shot up, and I was upset about that.

    I only had one experience with American Home Shield since I'm fairly new to the company, and we didn’t have any issues when it came to them at all. He told me I need to call my warranty company back because he refused the job, but I don’t know what happened.

    This company is a scam. The sales people hook you lie to you and get your money right away. If you ever need them good luck. They deny your claim before they even send someone to your house. The company that came to my home for my ac even told me that they were going to deny the claim. They told me that they denied every customer that they serviced. Very rude customer service. They are like robots. I see why ai is taking over. They even try to convince you to buy more services after they deny your claim. Why would you even use them or even have them for.     I called to report the outside water leak. The service request was denied as I was told outside water damage is not covered, only inside the house. The leak resulted in the water being turned off with no water in the home. The representative did not offer additional services that will cover outside issues.     They never gave us a contract of services, when we tried to file a claim they denied us saying we never had service, however they continued taking monthly payments from our bank account. When we tried to cancel they put us on hold for over 30 minutes or just hang up. The price for filing a claim is way too high for simple repairs like garbage disposal service or simple maintenance on appliances!. We have been deceived by this company and would appreciate a refund for all the lies and full disclosure of what your company didn't tell us about this policy! We never even got a paper receipt or digital receipt of what we are paying for! Come on! Stop stealing from seniors!!!

    Your plan documents were sent to you via USPS on November 4, 2024, and again by email on July 21, 2025—both at your request. Our records also show that during your call on August 5, 2025, our representative confirmed that we did not receive any incoming calls from you in May. All incoming and missed calls are logged and recorded for quality assurance.

    We can confirm that your account has been successfully canceled and that no further payments will be processed. The trade service fee, which helps cover the cost of initial diagnosis, is a standard part of home warranty agreements and was disclosed during your enrollment call. At that time, you were encouraged to review the plan documents and contact us with any questions. Our system indicates we did not receive further contact from you until July 2025.

    While we understand your concerns, Section G.3.B of your service agreement states that refunds are not issued once the term has started. That said, we remain committed to being transparent and fair in all customer interactions.

    Y'all are expensive! Your services are great but, in the long run it cost you more to maintain the services. I.E. the deductible is too high given the monthly rate. No incentives, no customer loyalty rewards. Find some way to lower your cost. It takes some time for you to get the job done, but you eventually get it done. The people you send are very professional. They do a outstanding job. Our air conditioner was fixed in day. Boy that was a relief.

    If a home is 20 years old and parts are no longer available, the assessment of the appliance is extremely poor. The service is also not immediate, often taking up to 2 months to fix anything. Paying $100 a month for such inadequate service, and then being charged an additional $170 for a $2000 appliance, feels like a complete scam.
