Chante was extremely helpful. She expedited my issue and I was pleased with the end result. I needed to cancel my policy for other reasons than quality of service. My policy was brand new. And I was having difficulty getting that taken care of.

I’ve been so happy with the customer service. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. I was worried because I have had my policy for less than a year, but I’ve been very pleased with the help I have gotten with my HVAC system. Kevin was awesome!

The agent that assist with the annual payment was very friendly and helpful. On the other hand the agent and supervisor that attempted to help me is a past recent claim was not very helpful or considerate.

Placed my first claim today for my washing machine. Everyone one I spoke with were friendly and courteous. I made my monthly payment and the young lady was very professional and answered my questions patiently. The young man who opened and submitted my claim was also very patient and personable as well. Both employees are rated 10 each.

I purchased my town home December 05, 2025 and obtained ARW Home Warranty when I purchased it. On March 11, 2026 my refrigerator went out. I filed the claim with ARW over the telephone. It took a couple of days for the scheduled contractor to schedule a visit, but they finally came out maybe three to four days after I didn't have a refrigerator. The contracting company they deal with only has one technician on staff. He had an emergency and had to be out for almost a week. ARW said if they sent someone else out, I would have to pay an additional $125 for a different contractor to come out. I had just paid $125 for this one and my monthly premium of $95.
Long story short of the matter today is May 01, 2026 and we still have not resolved this claim. Absolutely ridiculous!! These people are the most inconsiderate business people I've ever dealt with and no I would not recommend them to anyone. You are better off saving your money and handling things as they arrive yourself. DO NOT think your home is covered if you have ARW Home Warranty because they are not professional and your concern is not theirs. They do not take in consideration how the customer is being inconvenienced, but they are quick to take your monthly payment and slow to resolve your claim. I have truly regret signing up with ARW Home Warranty. I really hope other companies are more customer friendly.

Based on the options provided, you elected to proceed with a buyout to resolve the matter.
A check was issued and mailed on April 9. During your recent contact with our team, it was confirmed that the check had not been cashed, and a replacement has been issued. While mail delays or loss can occasionally occur and are outside of our control, we have taken steps to ensure the matter is addressed.
For additional context, your plan has been active for approximately five months, and the claim payout exceeds the total amount paid into the plan during that time, reflecting the coverage provided under the agreement.

I submitted two claims online with ARW, one for the HVAC system and the other for the plumbing. Usually, the techs get out here pretty quickly. But it depends on whether they have the parts available. But ARW has great customer service.

We went with ARW because they offer pool coverage. My pool heater recently stopped igniting so I filed a claim. It took almost two weeks to get a technician out and ultimately they told me I had to call the company they assigned to schedule an appointment. When I called the company didn’t answer and I couldn’t leave a voicemail. After multiple attempts I eventually got something scheduled. The tech came out and confirmed the ignition should be replaced and quoted $250 to me.
The insurance company called me a week later and said the quote was above the coverage amount allotted. When I asked what the quote was they said $450. I then explained that my coverage amount was up to $500 and didn’t understand the problem. The representative said that my pool heater was over 10 years old and they would only cover $200 in cost. I then asked how did they confirmed the age of the equipment, to which he replied “well we assumed”. So they just assumed they would pay as little as possible without proof.
They then place the burden o proof on me to show that the equipment was under 10 years old, which it was so I could claim the full $500 dollar coverage amount. They waited another week before acknowledging the new information then said they would need to pay me out because the cost repair was more than the $500 threshold. I was confused because the previous quote was $450. Then then proceeded to tell me the quote is now $750 so it was too much to move forward with the repair.
So to recap, we went from $250, to $450 to $750 all in a matter of weeks to help them justify their refusal to make the repair. I asked for proof of the quote and was told they could not provide me that. Each phone call from the company had a used car salesman vibe, where the person on the other would say whatever work for them in the moment.
They then stated they would need to pay me out, but also couldn’t give me the full $500 because I was responsible for a $75 diagnostic fee, despite already paying 125 deductible for the claim. So that is $200 or pocket expenses, weeks of waiting and frustration just to be railed they will not repair it and send me a $425 check that will take another 3 - 5 weeks to receive, for some unexplained reason. Needless to say this was a horrible experience with textbook shady practices, that seems typical of a unethical insurance company. I do not recommend ARW, save your money and time, you would be better off putting that money in a savings account for emergencies.

I've had ARW for ten years now. When I chose them back then, they were very reasonable, but things have gone up over the years. I submitted a claim to have my refrigerator repaired, which they took care of for $75. Now, I needed something else repaired, and they went up to 100 and something dollars. And I didn't think that was fair to be a customer for as long as I've been. Because when I first started back then, it was always one price. But now, it's not like that anymore. I needed something else looked at, like my dishwasher. Then they said that would be an extra $150. I was like, “No way.” I found somebody else to do it for free. Then I thought, “Why am I paying them if I can't use them when I need them?” Going up an extra $75 is a bit much when people are on a fixed income.
For my refrigerator, they came out very quickly. But for my washing machine, it took them quite some time. The tech for the washing machine was lousy as well. Now, the gentleman who came out and fixed the refrigerator was pretty good. However, I wouldn't recommend ARW at all. I would tell others to look for something more affordable, because they're charging you, when a new year comes around, you use them for $75, and after that, it's 150 afterwards. That's not right.

I selected five stars because the person that helped me on the phone was courteous. She listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. My main concern was about the payout amount of the appliances, and the age. That’s the reason why I wanted to cancel my policy.

I don't like ARW. They don't pay for anything. I had to get a new refrigerator. I just moved in the house three years ago. So, it covered $300 on my brand-new refrigerator, which was 1,500. Then I had to get a new washer and dryer, and they didn't cover anything on that. I had to pay that full out of pocket. So, I'm like, “Why do I have insurance?” Other than that, I've had the same contractor coming out twice, and he's been amazing. He was the one who looked at my dishwasher, which just had to be fixed. He's the one who looked at the washer and dryer, too.

I saw American Residential on the internet and it will be a year in December since I decided to go with them. I made a claim once and it was difficult because I didn’t understand their process. It was a little bit different from my previous warranty and when I tried to phone them to find out exactly what they were talking about, they weren’t there. One thing that I hated about ARW is that I had two appliances go out in approximately the same time and they charged me $100 for each appliance, even though the same man came out and looked at both. That wasn’t fair. If we had two different mechanics coming out to do each specific product, then I can understand that.
My price was $74 and I called ARW because I received a bill and it had gone up. I questioned why I wasn’t informed before the increase and when I asked why it had gone up this month, they said it was to increase the quality of service, but I didn’t see how that related to me. I had maintenance people come out and had already paid $200, and at that point, it felt like they were trying to recover some of that cost. I decided not to argue or discuss it further, but when December comes, I will cancel the contract and go with someone else.

I've had ARW for years and I've used it four times. Each person they sent out was okay. However, their cost is too high. I pay a monthly fee, and then, if I need to, I gotta pay $125 for somebody to come out. Sometimes, if you look into it, somebody you may have come out may not even be $125. It's just cheaper to call somebody to come in sometimes. Also, for people who have been with them for a certain amount of time, the price needs to be lower than for somebody who has just started. My sister has the same company, and she had somebody come out, but now she needs somebody to look at her stove. Since she had two different things, they wanted to charge her 125 a piece. That's crazy.

Miss Karen called because my credit card had been cancelled. She was very friendly and helpful. I was driving so she patiently waited until I could get parked to get my new credit card out. When I moved into this home, I was offered ARW. I've had coverage with them for almost a year. The deductible was reasonable. I submitted a claim with my garbage disposal. I did it online and someone came out in about a week. Overall, they did well.

The concierge called me about ARW Home and when this was presented, it made a lot of sense. I've had it for two years now and the package that I have is good for the premium that we pay. I call when I submit a claim and the process is easy. It’s always very good dealing with the reps. But the person who came to service gave a very wrong review. I have a 20-year-old system and he said it went bad due to bad maintenance. But ARW spoke to my service person and understood the situation, and they compensated me for it.

I moved and American Residential Warranty was suggested to me. I had used a different company where I lived previously and I decided to give ARW Home a try. I’ve had coverage for nine months and there was a wide variety of options when I picked it out. ARW is there to help you out when something is broken in your house. But when I had a problem with my HVAC system, it took five different times for somebody to finally figure it out. The first company that ARW sent out had no idea what was wrong. One technician came twice, another came once, and then another came once, but the issue still wasn’t resolved. I was promised by a manager that a technician would come on a specific day, but at 11:00, they called and said he had a doctor’s appointment and wouldn’t be there at 12:00, so it was another week before anyone came.
Even after that, the problem still existed and the guy couldn’t figure it out. I called again, and ARW finally sent another company that identified the issue and got it fixed. But on the day that the company was supposed to install the part, ARW called and I explained what was going on. They canceled them and reassigned the original company, which didn't know what was going on. It was a big mess. I was also promised callbacks from a manager at least three times and never received them. I’m not 100% happy with ARW.
I called them today and found out that the refrigerator I have has a known problem, so they’re not going to cover it. I was upset about that. They said they would charge a service fee, and if it wasn’t due to normal wear and tear, I would lose the deposit and it wouldn’t be covered. Now I have to find another company because it’s a known issue with this Samsung refrigerator. To be out that money and still have to call another company while they keep the deposit is wrong. So I wasn't happy about that either.
I might reach out to Samsung but from what I’ve seen and read online, they don’t do anything about it. They’re probably not going to pay to have someone come out and fix it. They might just send me parts, and it’s doable, but I don’t know. Now I’ve had to find another company, which is going to cost me and won’t be warranted. I tried to explain to ARW what the issue was, and they said that if the technician comes out and finds it’s not normal wear and tear, then they wouldn’t cover it. When you look up the model number, the issue comes up, and that’s not my fault. I had no way of knowing when I moved into the house that this model had a problem. But most of the people I have talked to have been fairly cordial. They were all professional and weren't rude, but they can only do what they can do.

American Residential’s coverage was comparable to others but I’m not too satisfied. They don't take care of the outside plumbing. My hot water tank went out, and I fixed it myself. They wouldn't change whatever needed to be done and by the time they got there, it was already done. The repair guys have been out a few times. I can light it, but it won’t stay lit, so something else needs to be done. I spent $125, and nothing was done. That’s the part I don’t like because I need hot water and I’m not going to wait days without it when I can light it, but it keeps going out.
The most recent problem I had was plumbing backing up and I wasn’t going to let sewage sit like that. The repair guy came through Universal. It was after hours and he did some roto-rooting, and I haven’t had that backup since. As far as the plan, you’re paying for something, but when they get there, if it’s halfway working, they don’t want to do anything, even though something is still wrong. The washing machine has an issue, but ARW told me it’s not covered under the plan, which is aggravating. It’s not the washing machine leaking, but something is wrong with the knobs. I have to keep it on one setting or nothing works, and that should be covered under the warranty.
I’m paying too much for getting nothing done. It’s not just one company either. I got mixed up in the beginning and ended up paying ARW and American Home Shield, and it was the same scenario with both. I’ve been dealing with this for about three years. One year, I paid ARW outright, and then somehow it got switched to a payment plan, so now I’m paying month by month. That didn’t feel like a good deal to me. I didn’t even know who to call or which company to deal with, and I’m just not happy with it. Nothing got done, and it’s my fault.

I knew about ARW Home when I was purchasing my home and I’ve had the warranty with them since July. They cover most of the internal stuff in the house, like the washing machine, water heater, dishwasher and plumbing. ARW’s rates are fair and they get a tech out fast. I’ve filed four claims and they always give good customer service. The online service was easy and simple. I like it. I just got the washing machine fixed and had the water heater replaced. And both of those experiences were good.

I've had a problem with a dishwasher. It was old and it was draining on the floor. The techs came and diagnosed it and found out that it was not replaceable. So ARW sent me a check to replace it. Everything worked out.

When I make a claim with ARW, they get back in touch with me. But I can't get my claim fulfilled and it's because they can't find anybody to come out. My hot water heater went out and I needed some service for that. They stayed in touch with me to let me know that they were trying to get somebody, but it never happened. So they sent me my refund. The representative who assisted me was very nice, though.

I had the pleasure of speaking with the "Good Karen" in regards to my payment issue. I truly appreciated her empathy and understanding as to not having a debit card at the moment because my wallet was stolen and my bank was mailing me one which would take 7-10 days. She even went as far as to ask if the 3 dollar fee for using my bank account instead could be waived. The $3 may not seem like much but when your bank account has been literally cleaned out it means a great deal. The gesture alone made me feel appreciated and valued as a customer. There was an ad for ARW Home but we hadn’t even thought about a home warranty until then. At first, they were good about getting right on it and their fee was reasonable. But on the last claim we put in, the fee has well over doubled and we didn't hear anything from them for two or three weeks. We thought our freezer was covered and then, they called and asked questions. They wanted to know if there were any other freezers in the house and I said we have a small chest freezer and the upright one is our main freezer. They said they were taking the small chest freezer as the main one and if we wanted the upright one fixed, we'd have to pay another 750, a tag-on on our policy. Then, they said that they covered a lot of things in our swimming pool in the back. But they didn't.
The contractor was good but people should check other home warranties before they go with ARW to see how they rate against them. We've been with ARW for five years now and they've done well by us most of the time. But I'm seriously thinking about switching to different policies with someone else because this last time, they weren't good at all. I was also very upset because the price went from $65 to 150. So it really jumped.

I own my house here, and the house is 106 years old right now. Things are starting to break down. I had another home warranty and they tripled their price on me. I started looking around for the best deal or the deal I had and ARW matched it just perfectly.
So far, their service has been pretty good. It started out a little rough. The salesman, John, we talked for a while and talked about the different policies. I thought I made the payments in a policy but they kept calling me about, "You need to get a policy." I kept saying I had one. They could not find my policy to start with. But everything got ironed out and it's working fine so far.
I called them and that was a challenge to get a hold of somebody because I didn't have a number to start with to get to the claims department and kept having to bother John about trying to find a number. But I have all the numbers now and I just call up and tell them what I need and they get me a service tech out here.
MetroPower came out, and they have always been good and polite. They scared me to death the first time they came out here to work on my dryer. They took the whole dryer apart. Two guys came out and they tested the stuff. The next thing I know, they were taking the panels off the top, off the bottom. They said it was just a wire off and they put it back, what the problem was. But it wasn't two weeks later, it stopped drying again and they came back out and fixed something.
The third time they came out, I was getting mad because they hadn't fixed it, because it worked for a while, and it would quit drying again. It's still working now, but it hasn’t been quite 30 days yet since the last time they fixed it. But they seemed to know what they were doing. The guys have always been good and knowledgeable as well.
The service calls are a little high, but I understand that with the price increases. That was another reason I went to ARW; the other company raised its service call prices. ARW has been a good company so far. They've answered all my complaints about getting things done, and they've been there to do it.

Updated on 05/02/2026: I was told on multiple occasions that I would be reimbursed for paying for a technician to come to diagnose the refrigerator since they could not get anyone to come. I paid the $132 for the technician and submitted the bill. I called to ask about my reimbursement and was told I will not get my money back. Mind you I paid the $125 fee that was taken out immediately when I filed the claim.I called last Friday April 24, 2026 around 11:10 am and spoke with customer service and was told I would not receive my reimbursement.
I reiterated several times that I was canceling my warranty and updating my response on Consumer Affairs that I am not being reimbursed for the technician fee since they couldn't get anyone to come diagnose the refrigerator from their side after them trying to find one multiple times. I have given ARW multiple occasions to fix this issue and they have refused. DO NOT PURCHASE A HOME WARRANTY FROM ARW!! I should not have to say anything about receiving money that is owed to me. They think it is fine to take the service fee and a technician fee for which was recorded several times telling me to get a technician and supply the bill for reimbursement. Every time I called they make sure to remind me that the call is being recorded of which I say that's fine.
Original Review: Refrigerator quit working on March 20, 2026. Called to report. First recording said no available on weekends!! Really?? Advised that it is medical as both my husband and I are diabetic and have insulin in the Refrigerator. Got call back Saturday afternoon where she took all information. Was given a contractor in about an hour. Of course, not open until Monday. Uploaded Model and Serial numbet as requested. Called first thing Monday to contractor referred. Was told they refused the order because they could not repair it!! Excuse me?? Didn't even come out. Called ARW and was told it would be given to another contractor which could take an additional 24 hours. Again Advised of medical condition since these calls are supposed to be recorded. Continuing to be told this is being escalated. After 3 hours, still no new contractor assigned. Called back again to check on issue. Given same run around about it is being escalated.
Was told could find own contractor and pay. Ummm why did I pay $125 to you for nothing? I find it hard to believe there are no available contractors in area. Found one in 10 minutes. Called ARW again to give them Sears information. Guess what??? Run around again on the phone. I continue to remind them again of insulin being ruined since we are supposed to be on a recorded line. Asked to speak to a higher person. Was put on hold for almost 10 minutes to hear...NO AVAILABLE SUPERVISORS!!! Am I shocked?? Nope. They do everything in their power not to pay for any services. Was told all I need is an invoice from a contractor of parts needed or if it can't be repaired. Would've got that if the contractor referred would have shown up and did the diagnostic check while giving an invoice. As of Monday afternoon, no work orders have been sent to our email of how fast this claim is being escalated. Will keep everyone updated.

I believe I got scammed about $600? Do not do business with these people. I auto paid $54.99 monthly. Got an ID card & policy #. Used this policy # to claim a furnace repair. Called the only phone # I could find & rep told me they have numerous subsidiaries. No policy with American Residential Warranty & they didn't know where or to whom my $54.99 per month was still going? On this site I just noticed the company name changed to ARW Home??? So I stopped my debit card to stop payments going to someone??? This has got to be a scam & I suggest calling state attorney to put on fraud list!!!

ARW Home was the only one that I found that was reliable at the time I got them. It’s been almost three years since then, and I had a claim not too long ago, and it was processed fairly quickly. The tech had to replace the heating elements on the dryer. It was a very good experience with ARW.

I've had American Residential for a few years now. I wanted our washer and dryer covered. Submitting a claim through the phone has been easy. The contractors they have sent have been good as well. I used it a month ago. I was having issues with my washer. The tech took off a panel and pulled out the filter, and there were a lot of coins in the filter that were causing the issue. He handed me the filter. I went and cleaned it out. He put the filter back in, and I haven't had that issue since.

Angle never gave up on us when trying to resolve our issues regarding pricing / Looking forward to Miss Angle starting back up a policy that she couldn’t let us keep even though her boss could have came down only $10 dollars to keep our Compton property/ Really great at explaining our policy/ Very patient while switching our policy to a plan that best fit our budget/ She was able to change two of the 3 policies so we could stay.

You have to use someone they are affiliated with. We waited over a month for them to tell us they were still trying to find someone. Never heard back from them. We ended up both times we have tried to use their services, calling and finding someone ourselves, and paying out of pocket. They refused a reimbursement. Even though after waiting and waiting on them, they never sent anyone.

The only factor affecting timing was waiting to receive the invoice from the technician for reimbursement review. Once received, the full maximum payout for your claim was issued in accordance with your plan terms.

When many customer service encounters result in frustration (for both the customer and the representative) and substandard resolution, it is a breath of fresh air when a company's representative exceeds the consumer's expectations, as I experienced with Mr. Kalab ** and a supervisor whom he reached out to (unfortunately, I cannot recall the young lady's name, however her first name began with an (N)) to further assist me. By actively listening to my concerns and thinking outside the box, Mr. ** and the supervisor resolved my policy concerns professionally and swiftly, which is the reason why I rated THIS experience five (5) stars. I filed a claim online. You usually hear from ARW Home quickly. I had an issue where the dishwasher wasn’t working, and they sent somebody out. But it couldn’t quite get worked out the first time, so they sent the same guy back out. We ended up having to change a circuit breaker, and they came back to take care of it. I first heard about ARW Home online and have been with them since October. And overall, everything has been fine.

I've been with American Residential Warranty for about five years now. They had a better rate than the other companies at the time I got them. I had a claim last year, and they worked it out. I just called them and told them what the problem was. They looked up my account, and everything was cordial. The technician who came out was great. Overall, as long as they get some qualified people out here to do work and they know what they're doing, I'm fine with ARW. If not, I'm gonna have a problem.

The experience was good, but I was a little disappointed that we had to go out and get the water heater ourselves and then find somebody to put it in. Normally, somebody would come out and check it. But when I called and talked to somebody from ARW, he said that it's not like that all the time. It's just going on what it would have been. Maybe if it had been a unit, somebody would have come out and looked at that, and they would have sent somebody out to put it in if needed. My husband was able to go out and buy a water heater and find somebody to put it in. But that may not be the case every time.
I've had the warranty for a while and that was the first time that I used it, and I didn't know the procedure. But I was blessed that ARW sent the money within three weeks. Being reimbursed was a good thing. But if anything else happens, maybe someone would come out and check it and they would handle it instead of me having to pick it up and bring it back. The people were nice when I talked to them to get it going, and I was satisfied.

For my most recent claim with ARW, it took a long time for the service people to come. But when the tech came, he took care of the problem. It was an easy problem. I had an AC complaint last year as well, and the guy came quickly for that and he corrected it, but they charged me an additional $200 to clean my coils. That, I did not expect. He claimed that that was separate. But the people I talked to were fine and courteous. I had no issues with them. And so far, the warranty covered everything that I had a problem with.

I had a home warranty that I wasn't happy with and when I was researching home warranties, I came upon ARW Home. So I switched to them and gave them a chance. This is my third year with them and so far, my experience has been very pleasant. When I had a need and had to have a tech out, they seemed to get right out here and get me a tech out here. And whenever I've had a couple of incidences where the items could not be fixed, they offered me a buyout right away, and it was sufficient for what I needed to replace my appliance with. But there was one company that they sent out that I did not like and they ended up getting a whole new company for me. Everybody else seemed to know what they were doing and when they came out here, they were really respectful of my home.

When I purchase the policy I was told there was a deductible then I go to make a claim and they tell me I have to pay my deductible first which is basically paying for this service to come out there to check out my appliance and then they issue you a check based on what the how old is and how much life is left in it well how much time. Thanks a lot. I canceled my policy and then they put me on the no call list. Really nice company.

Our dryer is 34 years old, it is the best dryer ever built. It did have a glitch last month, and ARW came out and fixed it. Didn’t tell me to replace it, that they wouldn’t fix it, they fixed it. So happy about that.

American Residential’s competitive price and the good ratings in taking care of claims were a deciding factor for me in going with them, and it's been as good as I'd hoped. So, I'm happy. To submit a claim, I had to go on their website, open a trouble ticket and provide information about the appliance, including the model number and serial number. The process was easy. Contacted ARW online and easily made a claim. They kept us informed via calls and text messages. The service person showed up on schedule and fixed the problem. No hassle. I wish the time delay from filing a claim until the claim is processed wasn't 2 business days... That is a long time when a critical appliance was not working.

First of all service fee raised without notice from 75 to 120. Secondly took about a month total with no hot water. Then had to also pay 100 towards the part. It would been cheaper to buy new water heater than fixing the parts. I have had a different warranty company before this one and all I paid was service fee. Trying to figure out why I even have a warranty company if I have to pay so much on my end service fee, parts price and monthly fee.

Our records reflect that the claim was opened on January 1, 2026, and completed on January 13, 2026. While we understand any disruption can feel lengthy, the claim was processed within normal service timeframes, including contractor scheduling and parts coordination.
The trade service fee adjustment was communicated via email on January 19, 2024, prior to implementation.
Once it was determined that the unit was nearing the applicable limit of liability under your agreement, you were presented with the option to proceed with the repair and cover the portion exceeding the remaining limit or accept a check for the remaining limit of liability. You elected to move forward with the repair. The claim was handled in accordance with the terms and coverage limits of your plan.
Our plans are designed to provide financial protection against covered mechanical failures, subject to stated limits. If you would like to review your coverage further, our team is happy to assist.

Bought a house in October, 2025 was offered the home warranty for $64.99 a month, was told we could not file a claim for the first 30 days after purchase and what all that was covered.... In January, 2026, start having problems with the washing machine and called to file a claim. NOPE, denied over the phone, nothing is covered... We did not have a home inspection done on the house when we bought it. So I have been paying all this time and all this money for nothing.

Our records show that the claim itself was not denied. In order to proceed with the review, the Claims Department requested additional information needed to evaluate the situation. That documentation was not received, and a request to cancel the plan was made before the claims process could be completed. As a result, we were unable to move forward with the claim at that time.

ARW was very good with the claim. I was able to get the claim filed on the phone in few minutes, the servicer was assigned within a short while, I was able to contact the servicer and schedule the technician for the next day. Once the repair estimate was submitted late Friday evening, the approval was received Saturday morning. The problem was fixed the following Tuesday.

I recently had a repair on my Heating Unit on January 7, 2026. On January 21, 2026 the Unit stopped working. I called ARW and within 20 minutes they had placed an emergency repair order. I’m very PLEASED with this quick response.

Karen assisted me with my issue and was very kind and helpful. She offered me other products but I already had them through the water company. Awaiting to have my tankless hot water heater fixed. I received a call from Karen about my payment not going through and she was very helpful with getting my bank account added to my account for payment going forward. As I have had a few problems over the past few months with my debit card being hacked and having to get it replaced for the 2nd time in six months. My experience over a decade with ARW HOME is the mix review. Starting with a five-star and ending with a minus Star, so disappointing! If it would’ve just of been one or two of the representatives, I probably would’ve stayed but over working with over a dozen phone calls trying to get one issues resolved was more than frustrating. It started out me helping a neighbor getting their Heating And Cooling system serviced. So I was on their property next-door meeting with a service company that I had met through ARW years ago. They no longer have a working relationship with ARW because of ARW internal issues. I UNDERSTAND NOW WHY.
I was told by ARW because I have a service company there at my house, they were refusing to send somebody out to my house. I told them I was speaking to somebody while I was on hold for the hour about somebody else’s issues and that the company that was standing next to me was speaking about my next door neighbor property that I was on at the time, not mine. (BTW, the people I was speaking with would not work to service with ARW anymore, so that is why is was calling to get help with ARW where I paid to get a service account.)
ARW when they finally came on the line, heard me finish speaking to the service company next-door (the house that is owned by an elderly person). I told them I was next door. Can you please hold on while I finish with them. When I went back to them 30 sec later, I started to open a claim for my property. They said because I had a company out there already I was being refused service from ARW?????
Instead of sending a service company out to see what the issue was with my personal Heating And Cooling and to see that nothing had been opened or tampered with. They decided to call me a liar and not just one of them, but the whole company!!! They said they have recording, of course, they have recording. It’s about my next-door, neighbors' issues. (How about my next-door neighbor’s Bill, they could’ve looked at to see that I wasn’t lying.) I’ve never been more insulted, felt left out on the curb than with ARW! I would not use ARW. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION! They have lost my trust.

It was a soliciting/sales call to add recommend coverage while I think for 100% disabled veterans the coverage should already be included. But I think Karen did an awesome job backing up her recommendation for the additional coverage. She did listen and understand my concerns and circumstances of being on a fixed income. If my house was closer to being paid off I would have jumped on this opportunity but due to my current situation I’m not sure adding this coverage would be best for me at this time.

Here’s a polished, strong, professional rewrite that keeps the seriousness of what happened without giving too much personal medical detail. This company has truly let us down. We’re experiencing a major plumbing issue in our home, and we only have one bathroom. Their policy of a 24–48 hour response time makes sense if a family has multiple bathrooms, but in our situation it left us completely stuck. We paid the $120 service fee, we pay our monthly premium, and the plumber who came out said he couldn’t fix the issue and would send someone else. No one ever called back. We called multiple times, and still no one came, no updates, no explanations nothing.
Meanwhile, we have a family member in the home with serious health needs who relies on having a functioning bathroom. Instead, we were told to use makeshift options and empty waste outside. On top of that, we were denied a refund because the plumber “made a diagnosis,” even though we were left unable to flush a toilet, take a shower, or even wash our hands. It was unacceptable and disrespectful.
Everyone we spoke to at that company likely went home, used their restroom, and took their shower that night without a second thought. Yet they left our household without basic sanitation after taking our money during a time when my mother is already dealing with enough stress. We even have family coming into town, and they still offered no urgency, no compassion, and no solution. The way we were treated was absolutely ridiculous.

They perform unauthorized billing. Their coverage limits are a joke, pay attention to that. It’s mostly $500 maximum for anything and they will find 1,000 ways to not pay a claim. Their vendor diagnostic services eat into your $500 maximum making it practically useless between the high annual fee and $99 fee they charge just to file a claim.

I have been paying every month but I needed my refrigerator fixed and last month I got a notice that I had not paid my bill to y'all. I have needed my refrigerator fixed and you all did not get it fixed thru y'all. I called a local guy that worked on it and got it fixed. Cost me a lot, almost 493. And change so either reimburse me or cancel my plan. Was never told on the beginning how your plan worked. So I feel cheated on y'all's plan. I could have saved the money that I paid y'all and I would not have been going backward.

The math did not work out for me on this one. I had two events over a couple years. One was my refrigerator went out. It took them a week to find someone and by that time I'd lost all my food. They ended up paying out about $500 minus the amount the tech charged for declaring the fridge dead. So if I hadn't had the warranty I would have SAVED money. They purposely hide the amount they'll reimburse you for appliances, since the amount is so low.
Next my heater went out. In November in Alaska. After charging me the deductible and taking over a week (a week with no heat) , they let me know they couldn't find anyone to come look at it. I had to do everything on my own. I can only hope I am refunded my deductable. I called AWR to cancel my service, the customer service rep said she had, and then AWR called me to ask why I hadn't paid! They had no record of me canceling my service. So I believe AWR is essentially a scam and cannot recommend.

ARW is a scam intent on only making money. They are incompetent. They had zero “authorized agents” in Bellingham, Wa to make heating systems repairs. They want their customers to do their job and find a contractor to agree to work with them. They want the contractor to complete many forms and send photos to ARW for them to consider the possibility of paying for a claim. They charge $125 to simply file a claim. There is no guarantee that ARW will do anything whatsoever with your claim other than charge more money for the privilege to talk to them.
When I called to cancel my warranty, I was informed that the cancellation would also apply to my claim. Having decades experience in claims, cancellation of a warranty policy doesn’t mean that any pending claim is automatically cancelled with the warranty. A complaint to the Better Business Bureau went unanswered by ARW as well as my email to their CEO. If you like throwing your money away, sign up for an ARW Home Warranty Service program because that’s what you will be doing. Read.

Whenever we have claims with American Residential Warranty, my wife calls in and pays a fee, then somebody comes out to fix whatever needs to be fixed. Recently, a contractor came out in days and fixed a light problem that we had with one of the switches. They were excellent. I'd give them an A+. American Residential Warranty is very quick in responding to the problems of their customer. I'd give them an A++ in sending somebody out to take care of the problem.

Filing claims with American Residential Warranty has been seamless. We recently did one for the ice maker. It was a little sensor that had to be replaced on it. I do my claims online, then a contractor calls me back me back. They also send some text messages, so we know what to expect and when they are coming. They are knowledgeable and they take care all of our needs. It's not as quick of a response as we would like, but it isn't unbearable.
At first, we were getting bombarded with calls from American Residential Warranty to sell us another aspect of the program. I didn't want any of those other services and got a little frustrated with the add-on calls. But other than that, they are easy to work with and they provide the service that we need. We feel protected in having their service.

My experience yesterday wasn't good at all. I'm getting conflicting information from them. I have two garage doors, and they told me I couldn't file a claim on both of them at the same time so I filed one claim. When I tried to file another, they told me I couldn't do it, and it wasn't covered. When I called back to talk to a representative, they said I was covered. But when I went back to them to file the claim, they said I'm not covered.
"I've been looking for pool companies but no one that I contacted would call me back. Within probably minutes when I put a request in at Blue Haven Pools & Spas, Scott responded. It was a Sunday even. He was out with his family and he immediately got back to me. We were off to a good start from right then. It was Scott for the most part through everything and it was great. He listened to exactly what we wanted. He came out, they measured and offered recommendations. We got to go into their store and he had a mockup on a screen. It was wonderful. Any delay was on us. We went on vacation in the middle of the project and they worked around us.
We got two shears, a feature wall, and the smart system. My husband does everything from his phone. We're so happy with the service. The kids and my husband were in the pool as much as they possibly could and were very happy. They're obsessed with it. As the pool got done, I was eight months pregnant. I plan on using it next summer when the baby's here. We have recommended Blue Haven to everyone we know.

I had a very pleasant experience with the representative. The representative was very polite and resolved my issues. She asked if I had any questions or concerns with my account. ARW denied my Sub-Zero repair & offered a buyout of $425. I am using that to defray my expense of $1600 to replace the compressor line & fresh food sensor. Appliance Repair Team did the work - they had been sent by your company & they did a great job. My fridge is now running like new. What has angered me the most is it took your team almost 2 weeks to deny it. During that time we were without a kitchen fridge. And to add insult to injury, I had to keep calling. Then your service department called to see how satisfied I was when the rejection hadn't been given. Unfortunately there's no way to give minus stars on this rating app.

Keeps dripping water, when trying to run water in tub, when you turn on the shower valve to run water in the tub the water leaks out of the shower head if not supposed to do that. They did send a plumber over here with me to other things to fix that he would have to reduce water pressure off of the hot water heater but he did send in a request and I did get a call from you guys and they told me I could either do a buy out or pay half of what it would cost to fix it.

Not satisfied with the company I just said. They so rude. They do not give you the time that you have to keep on calling her then they got a third-party for somebody to come out to do the work then they gotta approve it for them to come back out and do the work. I am not satisfied.

ARW took care of my claim very quickly and did not hesitate to reimburse me for my refrigerator. My refrigerator went out on a Saturday. I called ARW that Monday morning, a service repairman showed up and I was told that the refrigerator was beyond repair. The next week I had a check from ARW for the amount that a new refrigerator like the one that broke would be at Lowe’s.

Do not use these people. They always have an excuse when it comes to covering items. You just keep paying out your pocket to get things fixed on top of paying them monthly. This would not be a good choice.

Kind of furious. I had to keep repeating myself. All my information was in the computer but the person I given to to fill my claim didn’t put all the information in the first time. I needed to get my refrigerator repaired. I made a request with ARW Home and in about three days, the tech came out. He was pretty courteous and quick. He was also very efficient. I have ARW for a year now. I like that they don't make me wait four weeks before they send someone out and they are very proficient.

This company is horrible. They stole $125 from me. They are THIEVES. I told them I needed a gas valve fixed, and they sent a dryer company out who did NOTHING. He stated he could not do anything to help me, that the warranty company was supposed to send a plumber. They refuse to give me my $125 back. After waiting over three weeks for no service, only delays and headaches. STAY AWAY! I will never use this company again.

I'm confused on my service. They was not listening to me when I made a claim. They had a private plumber come out to my house and I don't know what he told them, but I think he was trying to scam the company but they not trying to understand what I'm saying. I'm very confused on what's going on. I'll try to speak to a supervisor, but no supervisor ever call me back or I was transferred to talk to a supervisor.

Stay away from these crooks. They do not care about their paying customers. We submitted a claim to address leaking hot water heater and almost 3 weeks later, after calling every other day, they denied our claim. Save yourself some headaches and DO NOT USE this so-called warranty service.

Everything went very well. Couldn't fix the dryer and it was replaced. Thank you for such good service with no hassle. Will call again when I need to for any of my appliances break down. Everything went smooth once we cleared up my warranty coverage. AC unit has been working great. Cooling the upstairs to the point, we have to adjust the temperature for our parents. Someone made a charge on my bank account debit card resulting in the bank issuing a new card. My bank account had insufficient funds to pay the bill.
