    I don’t remember how I first heard about All Year. I may have done a Google search and just looked and went out but then I have friends who had used them and gave me a high recommendation.     My fuse was having some trouble and I saw All Year online. They were the first one to show us and they provided the estimates. They came in. They gave me speedy service and they were upfront with all the information so I went with them. They were all very good. I actually had a leak that same day after they installed it and they sent somebody over and emergency at 10 o’clock at night to try and fix it immediately and they stayed until it got fixed.     I heard about All Year through a referral, Word-of-mouth. I’ve had my unit probably about 2 months. They were good. They were all extremely responsive and they acted very quickly. Basically, it was a decision I was going to have to make and I was working on it proactively and then the system sort of broke down before I actually ordered a new one. So that next thing you know, I was like, “All right, we need to expedite and they were extremely willing and able to do that so it made a big difference.” They submitted a competitive bid so my decision was price-driven. I would recommend them. I would say they can do operation and they work very quickly under pressure, and they were pretty buttoned up and thorough.

    I moved into a 10-year old house which had a 10-year old AC which was at the end of its life and I needed to change. So I looked up on Google and I used engines list as well. I called a lot of people over. And all the people came over and made images and presentations. Now they gave me All Year Cooling. Supposedly he gave me on the contract a pretty decent service, after-field service offer in return.

    So the whole thing, the airconditioner, the system, and the service and all that promises made sounded good for the price I’m paying. I liked the offer. That’s the reason I chose All Year. I have been concerned of the company having some problems with the bankruptcy issue and all that, but I was explained that’s what the situation called. And that was the time.

    I did not personally meet the sales rep who came over to my house, I wasn’t available. But from then on, I did have a lot of discussions over the phone and via email, and that was pretty good. Based on my overall experience, I would recommend them to all.

    I was getting quotes from different AC companies and just was having issues as far as finding someone who was credible and reputable, and a co-worker of mine told me to give them a call.

    I didn’t really have too much of an issue I know with the installation team. They were very courteous, very nice, very attentive to anything that I ask for. I can’t say much for the sales representative except for I was supposed to get a cleaning, and I didn’t. And I haven’t heard back from anyone. Overall, my experience with All Year was a breeze. I have had my unit from them since July or August. I would recommend them.

    I have an air handler that I bought from All Year and they put it in. They were very good, very professional. They were great to me. I had no problems at all. They didn't need anything to clean up - they took everything away as they said. I’ve used All Year before. This is not the first time I’ve used them so this is nothing new. When I first called them… that was a lucky shot. You don't get a lucky shot every time you deal with people. Also I like the way the president, once you use them, he'll send you a letter thanking you for using his company.

    The air conditioning wasn’t working very good so I called All Year. Actually, surprisingly, I saw a fire for them. After I saw the fire, I realized that I’d done business with All Year Cooling before in my condominium. I’ve had pretty good results and service with them at my condo previously so I did give them a shot. The guy that came in here and gave me the price on it seemed a little bit more honest and more reliable. The installers did a good job. They came very professional and got stuff done.     I had a brand unit installed 11 months ago. Since that time I have had 4 service calls on this unit. The unit has been misdiagnosed three of the four times. The unit completed froze up, and the coils were replaced. Since that time my thermostat has been running non-stop, and it is set on 78 degrees constantly. My electric bill has increased 60.00 in three months. While the service has been diligent in coming out, I'm not so sure that it was all worth it.

    I looked them up on the internet. I searched on the internet and I got 6 companies to come out and give me a quote. All Year not only were very professional, but were very competitive. The thing that surprised me the most was that besides hearing the competitive price, I told the salesperson that they got to have to wait a few days because I had sold some of my stocks and it was going to take a few days to get the money. He told me, 'Don't worry about money.' He said, 'Let's get you air now and whenever you get the check in, call me and I'll pick that up.' That impressed me a lot and the next day as he promised, the workers came in. That was close to about 3 weeks ago. They installed the unit and tested it. They showed me how to operate it and in everything that they did, they left the place clean. I have nothing to say but excellent things about them.

    All Year put the unit in I think on June 11th. We were just doing research on prices. We had gotten some bids last year and didn't have the money to do the job. I found them I think online. Nobody recommended them. I just called for an extra bid and they came in with the best bid. Everything was great. The salesperson, the guy I talked to, was Corey, and he was wonderful to work with and they got it put in within just a couple of days. The only hitch there was at all was that the truck with the air conditioner in it broke down. So the guy was there with the crane and the guys were there waiting for the air conditioner. It took like maybe 4 hours. Actually, the crane guy had to go pick up the air conditioner.

    First of all, we've used All Year Cooling for over 20 years. Yes, probably close to or less than 1981 since we took the house over. So that's 30 years. Of course, we needed a new air conditioning immediately just about. The only negative I have is previously they've always installed Rheem and obviously we're in a panic situation here when we came back to the house and then I've seen no air whatsoever. It was a hot weekend and I just gave them a go ahead to install an air conditioner. I never verified whether it's going to be a Rheem or not and it wasn't. It's a Ruud. So I have no knowledge about that brand. I don't know if it's as good as Rheem or better than Rheem. When I say that, we've had from them over the 30 years at least 2 other air conditioning units and they were both Rheems. So that was a negative.

    Positive is the man that came that originally made the call said, 'You know by the way, you have currently a three time unit and truthfully for your house, you probably be better off with the three and a half.' So that was a positive. The other positive that I like is the contract where everything is covered for 10 years. It was like I think I've taken $800 extra 339 because it's 5 months with $80 a month. And I have the print out email, but I've gotten no hard copy about the warranty statement this has covered. So to me that's a little negative meaning, they should ship it out and they could still say this is contingent upon the final payment. So that would be an area that they can improve.

    There also has been one episode we had with them years ago that had nothing to do with right now that I was really ticked off because the man that they sent (this could date back probably 5, 6, 7 years) was totally inadequate. He did not know what the hell he was doing. But that aside, everything else had been fine.

    I called my realtor to find out if they recommend anyone and it happens to be that a member of the family did his homework, his research. (I had found a realtor and many times he deals with people like All Year Cooling, so I assumed that it's coming from a realtor that I had known for over 20 years and that the family member did the homework). I tried to find out if there's a company or whatever and then I took it. I have another proposal that's similar, a little bit higher but similar. But I decided to go with this company because I thought it's a serious company.

    It went really well. The salesperson, I think he may have had a series of calls before I finally decided. He didn't push me. He was just there on standby waiting for my decision and he was very courteous. The installation people, I was watching all the time. I sat five feet away from them looking at what they were doing. They showed a lot of experience. I was even asking him how many equipments he installed. I was surprised at so many equipments he already installed but you'll notice a person who is familiar with what he's doing. Already, he knows everything. Then I even had an inspection. I requested an inspection and they looked at it and they said not only is the equipment good but also it was very well done. It was very well installed.

    I should say that All Year Cooling is a very serious company that is customer-oriented and the service they do is very good. If I had to recommend, I would gladly recommend other customers to go to them. In the last two years, I also installed two brand new air conditioning with different companies, and to tell you the truth, out of these three companies I used, this one was the best. There was one that was very good too. They did a good job also but I was particularly satisfied with All Year Cooling. I'm very satisfied!

    I saw an All Year ad on the Internet and my AC was broken so I gave them a call. It was a brand new condo. I just moved into it so I had to replace the whole unit that was there previously though I didn't have one really. Everything was just quick and speedy. I called them I think on Thursday and I had the new unit in by Monday. My unit wasn't ready and they weren't supposed to call me until Tuesday but someone who was getting it on Tuesday, they gave me theirs and then put theirs on Tuesday with the units that weren't ready on Tuesday. They made sure I got the unit when I was supposed to. I chose them as there was no fee for them to come and look at the unit. Some of them actually charge $160 just to come up here.

    I just saw All Year on the White Pages looking up on the computer and they did a job for us in one of the properties that I managed. They were very prompt and we decided to use them again. We were able to also look at it price-wise and it was a good price and we were glad about that. So far my experience with them has been really good. The last property they had done was excellent. With the air conditioning unit shortly after installation, we began to experience some problems and something wasn't acting quite right. I called them immediately. They came out and fixed it.

    When I was searching, the price was number 1. But also what influenced me in choosing them was at the time, we had to work with a public accounting department and we can't always have a check like this. As soon as they're finished with the job, we have to have it mailed and we were able to say, ''Okay we understand that this is what you deal with. We'll work with you as far as getting payments.'' They were really accommodating in that way and they were able to work out a deal. So the price and the fact that they were flexible in how many days we will be able to get the payment to them - that's what made me decide to use them.

    I'm like, I call vendors okay when I'm dealing with properties such as rental properties and that type of thing that I can depend on, that are committed to their work and when they're like that, I'm loyal to them. To anyone who comes to me, that's who I would recommend because I don't have time to play. I have to be able to say okay, I can call All Year and they'll get me on their schedule and I can trust them and they'll work with quality and they will be good and that's what I like. They have all those important qualifications for me.

    I've used All Year four times already. The oldest unit was 2 or 3 years and the newest one was installed last week. I found out about them by doing my own research trying to find competitive quotes. I chose them primarily because their prices are very good and they accommodate my schedule at any given time.

    The sales rep is excellent and very, very easy to work with. The installation guys do very, very tedious work for they get it done. I had an issue and they had to see me, the technical service person to call me but the installation guy did. Things like that do happen. The guy had to come 2 times, but they've fixed it.

    When we bought this house on January 1, the air was going down. I honestly don't remember how we had heard about All Year. I don't remember if it was somebody that referred them to us.     I called some other idiots in the industry, and I say that and I mean it because I run my business stellar, and these other companies, they come in and it's just amazing. The prices they hit you with and just they're idiots. They don't answer questions, so I threw those three people out of my house. And as I was throwing the third guy out from Sears when they gave me six or seven grand, and he was still at my table, I checked my email. I got a phone call when he was there, and I took it even though I didn't know who it was. It was Kevin, the sales manager at All Year Cooling. He said, 'Hey, Dave, I saw you put in a request at Home Advisor.' Because I was in a bad mood the first time I talked to him, I said, 'Look, let me tell you something right now. Send me a quote by Monday. If you don't send me a quote, never call me again and don't email me. Please, don't do it.' So 10 minutes later, he sent me a quote. So I called them.

    He sent everything over, answered all the questions, everything's right. The financing, I got that handled in five minutes. I was like on cloud nine. I could not believe it. I'm like, 'This is like amazing.' It's amazing, a company that knows how to do business.

    It's been 40 days since I had the unit serviced. If I knew about them three years ago, I'd get a new AC unit. If I knew they did business that easily, I would have just replaced this old unit years ago. The only reason I didn't was because I knew it's just like buying a car, nobody likes it. So he gets everything back, I call him up, I go through the whole thing. He said, 'Let me do this.' He goes, 'Would you mind if I send one of my guys over? And I'll have them there in like 15 minutes. I just wanted to clarify what you told me on the unit just to make sure that I know I quoted you right.' I said, 'No problem.' The guy comes right over. In five minutes, he's in, he's out, he's done, and he leaves. He goes, 'I'll put it on Monday for you.' I'm like, 'Beautiful,' because it was a Saturday.

    So I took Monday off. I worked from my house, I did my business. And well, they did that. The guys did a great job. I took them to lunch when they were done. They did an awesome job and then just today, I had the inspector come. In five minutes, the guy approved it, put the sticker on the unit, signed my papers and left. I said, 'Have a great day.'

    I got a call from one of the guys at the shop just to follow up to make sure everything was all right, and it's just awesome. It's AMAZING!!! I'm at a loss for words for how smooth All Year does business and how easy they made it. I would refer a hundred people to them. Anybody that ever talks about their AC unit, I would in a heartbeat send All Year any referrals. All these other companies, they make it nothing but a headache to do business.

    I actually happened to use All Year to install for me on two different condos that I rent out. They were referred to me by another customer when the company that I used for several years gave me a quote for the install that just seemed very high to me. I talked to my son about it and he said, 'Well, we just had one put in a year or two ago with All Year.' So I called them and found that their products, their price and their performance were right in line with what I expect. It was very professional and since I was happy with the first job that I had installed in January of this year, I used them for the second job at the end of May.

    They've been very professional with their work. Every question I had got answered. They're comfortable with billing and email which I prefer to the phone. But they're also good on the phone. They're not real high pressure. I've been very pleased with the interactions that I've had with them. I've not met their install crew because the tenants take care of that.     It's been over a month. I found All Year Cooling on the web and did a little bit of research. I decided to go with them for a couple of different reasons: One was their longevity. I believe they've been around since 1972 and that was very appealing to me, although I did come across some of their competitors for quite about the same time. There's a sales rep who came by initially to provide the estimate and took a look at what I was getting replaced and wanting to do. He was extremely knowledgeable. That was one of the great stars in their hat. He pointed out a few things that some of the other competitors that came by as well did not point out. That made me feel pretty good. Their pricing was very much competitive across the board, so that's one of the reasons. Also, I did check them out on the Better Business Bureau. They have favorable ratings and all the comments that I've seen online about people that had worked with All Year Cooling in the past were all positive. I think there were one or two negatives, but that didn't deter me because the one or two out of the hundreds that were left on the web were all positive.

    The installation team was fantastic. They showed up on time. They were clean. They spoke good English, which is important. Not only were they clean when they did the work inside of the house and outside of the house, but when they left, it was clean as well. No leftover. There were no scraps, no pieces, no nothing. They were very, very professional. I've been waiting for someone to call me back from All Year Cooling. Not that I want this to be a negative in their half at all. But I found it to be very interesting that no one from All Year Cooling called me to follow up and say, ''Hey Mr. **, how did everything go? Are you happy? Are you satisfied?'' Now I got this really great card from the owner saying, ''Hey! Thank you for choosing us. If you have any questions, if you have any concerns, please call us.' As a matter of fact, it said this was his personal phone number on the thank you card. But that's a lot different than getting a phone call from someone. I just thought that was a little strange.

    It's been a 5+. Perfect. Everything is to my expectations and beyond. They were just very competitive. For me, as a consumer, I think any consumer will get new ways to install a new handler. It is not cheap so you have to expect to pay a certain premium. There were some that were much cheaper than these guys, but I didn't go with them because I didn't get a good feeling. They didn't have the years of experience behind them and longevity here in South Florida. These guys aren't cheap. They're professional. They're courteous. They're pleasant. I've already recommended them to several people and one of which is a friend of mine who owns a real estate company.

And the installer was outstanding because when I saw one guy pull up, I was like, 'It's a two or three man job.' He said, ''Normally yes, but if I do the work myself, I knew it's done right.'' I was very surprised to see one guy, but he did an outstanding job. He pretty much talked me through everything he was doing and why he was doing it.

    I had All Year install a new AC at my house and also one at work. The sales guy, Kelly, who was there was amazing. Apart from personally knowing everybody at All Year, I called them as a second option when the AC in my apartment broke. I had a service contract on my apartment, and they came out to see if it was fixable. They said it wasn't, so they gave me a quote to put in a new AC instead. All Year gave a quote that was a lot less expensive - $600 less for the exact same thing and that's why I chose them.

    It was a very good experience. Personally, I don't like the man that runs the company, but my experience was great. They were timely and professional, and I think everything went smooth.

    The people I interacted with at All Year, from the sales guy that went to my home to the technical person that answered the questions that I had, were all excellent. They earned my confidence that's why I decided to go with them. I purchased my own unit about a week ago. They would not give the lowest price, but I still chose them because of the confidence I had in the work they were going to do. Indeed, throughout the process, they were really, really excellent.

    On the day of installation, I made a particular request to the salesperson. My existing unit was a little bit wider than my door frame and when they installed it 15 years ago, they broke the door frame. This was something I wanted to avoid so I ordered a smaller-sized air handler. They said they were going to be careful and they were. They finally came and fooled around with it and couldn't get it working. We finally put the old one I had back in. So, All Year owes me a new thermostat.

    They've been around since the time I was young. The only problem I had with them is that they charge too much for their annual. I stayed with them because they quoted a lower price than another one I had, and that made the difference. And anytime you deal with airconditioning, it was just a pleasant thing. There have been problems but they were taken care of.

    We have several units with All Year for a couple of years. Everything went fine. It was great. But they're great for one and not the way on the other. We only buy our stuff from them - they give us the best price for the unit and the installation. But we don't really do that for service. I would say on the service side, they have a lot of room for improvement. If they're gonna fix something, I'll certainly pay for it. But in other places, they will give a free estimate and then apply it to the repair, and they don't do that. I'm satisfied. I'd like to use them for service, but I feel that they charge for service call and they don't credit them to you; it's not even for existing customers and I don't like that. Installation and price for new unit was great. Service was not so great.

    I bought a unit from All Year about 7 years ago and put it in my other condo - it's been fine; I've been very happy with it. When I moved in to this new town home, the compressor on the roof has all been falling apart, so I had the whole system replaced in September (The original bad system was just replaced with the same system.). When they replaced it, I noticed that the air handler in the attic was kind of a strange thing - it was open, and it could suck air out of the attic. It turned out the air handler for the neighboring condo emptied air into the attic also, so the air from my neighbor's condo and mine were mixing together. And they are very, very, very heavy smoker - you wouldn't believe how bad. The smell was so bad it woke me up at night. I think I paid $2400 for the compressor on the roof and that funky air handler that I hate.

    After several months of this, I decided I just need to buy a new air handler (we had a new air handler put in) that was a totally different type. I just got an additional $2000 to take out the system that was mixing the air and put in a new system that is sealed. They had to cut a hole in my closet and insert it in the closet and then have the ducts connect on the air handler to the existing duct system, ceiling and off completely from the attic. Of course, since then I don't smell any smoke. The air did not mingle with the attic or the neighbor's cigarette smoke at all, so I get clean air now. But they wouldn't exchange the air handler, so I'm stuck with this air handler that's just about 6 to 7 months old. The guy told me that I might be able to sell it but I don't know. Right now it's brand new junk as far as I'm concerned. I wasn't given any credit for it of course because they didn't take it.

    Everything that All Year did was fine, other than that system that the guy said, 'Well, this have to be replaced,' and that's the one that they put back in. If they had mentioned another alternative, I think I would've granted that. I don't have any problem with All Year other than the problem with that unit that I don't think should've been installed. I am very happy with their performance and everybody that I've dealt with has been nice. It was fun, except I wish I had been informed that there was an alternative to putting in the air handler that I hated.

    I had a guy here servicing my other unit, which was from Sears, I guess. It came with the house. It had a little mold on it and I think that is because the door closes so tightly. They wanted, for washing it (the mold or something), a thousand dollars. And I just said no. Anyway, the unit was still working, but it's 13 years old and I thought I got to buy a new one instead of having it fixed. So I went to All Year because my neighbor has their unit, and he bought it I think one or two years ago. He thinks it's good. It's a good unit and he's very satisfied with it, so I bought it. I just had it installed.

    The installers were very nice. They were two young men: one really very young man (I think he does the outside things) and the other guy who does the inside stuff. They could be a little bit cleaner, I think, because they should put something in front of the door. I had a big spot there. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant experience. It didn't bother me a lot or anything. It was not a lot of noise. It's been fine. I would surely recommend All Year Cooling.

    We ordered a replacement unit from All Year when the compressor of our old unit gave in about a month ago. They were very professional, very friendly, very helpful, very quick and very efficient when they installed the service, all the way from the top to the bottom - the sales, the consultant. The estimator, who came out on a Sunday, was prompt. He gave us a really competitive quote that gave us what we needed as far as coverage and warranty. The sales people were able to help us get a 12-month zero interest payment scheme and helped financed the project.

    The installers, when they came out, were done in just probably 4 hours. They did a really, really super job because everything I needed, all the hoses and all the connection, was changed to something new. The installed wires that were sort of just exposed were all neatened up and properly shielded. Very, very professionally done and everything just looks like brand new. Hes very difficult to please so if All Year can please him, then he definitely chose the right company. Aside from that, their price was competitive.

    The sales guy and the installers were fine. They answered all the questions I had. They also cleaned up after they installed the system. The only thing that kind of caught me off guard was the additional cost that popped up on the day of installation such as serials, ducts and stuff like that.     I wrote a review earlier today about an unfortunate experience I had with the company and how upset I was with the service. I just got off the phone with the owner of the company (Tom Smith), who took the time and effort to make things right. He understood my concerns and listened as I explained my frustrations. I must say I was surprised I got a call and will also say Tom was very sincere about wanting to get things right. He certainly restored my confidence in All Year Cooling. It's not very often, if at all, that an owner of a company, on a Saturday or any other day, will personally make the effort he did to resolve the problem. Good customer service is harder and harder to come by these days, so I thank Tom and his company for going that extra mile. I'm more than happy to say I will continue to give my business to All Year Cooling going forward.

    I came home from a business trip on Thursday and my upstairs AC wasn't working. I called right away and they told me they'd come out on Friday between 1 and 5. They called me at 5:30 saying the tech was on his way. Finally the tech arrived at 6:30 and he was only 20 minutes away. He must have stopped for a beer. After checking everything out, he told me the compressor was shot and needs to be replaced. But since it was now 7:15, no one was in the office and they'd call me to let me know when they could get the part and install it. If they showed up on time, I could have had an answer the same day.

    This is not the first time they haven't shown up in the promised time frame. In the past 10 months, I had them here because the upstairs wasn't cooling. I paid $150 because they came out on a holiday. They told me the unit was low on freon and then told me they'd have to come back because the tech didn't have any freon with him. This was also the third time within a 2-month period that they had to come back and charge the unit. I asked why it was losing freon so quickly, but they couldn't give me an answer. Finally I asked for a technician that might know what they are doing. Another guy comes out and tells me I have to do an ISO test to find out if the line set is leaking. So I pay $300 to have that done. Next day he finds a leak on the liquid line by the evaporator coil (that was replaced months earlier, so they probably caused the leak installing it).

    Now the compressor goes and they tell me the warranty is for 5 years. Mine is 5 years and 4 months old. I asked for some consideration on pricing. I didn't want it for free, but maybe $50-$100 off would be nice. As far back as 2010, one of their techs told me I might need a delay for condenser and/or the warranty compressor replaced. Of course the next tech said no, it's fine. So now since it's a weekend, they can't get to me till Tuesday, 5 days after my call; and it's so hot upstairs - I have to sleep downstairs on the couch. And then you wonder why I’m not happy!

    The unit that I had was not performing at the most economical way. Our house was built in the 50s and its about 1,700 sq foot; there was no reason for the bill to be that high especially if compared with my other neighbors. I was having a technician come over and check it out to see exactly what was going on - thats about $500 or some a month. My brother was the one who recommended All Year highly. He held me from going to anybody else until I check these people out in person. He said that I was the second or third customer that he recommended.

    They installed my unit last month. They were pure business. They were on time, and they were very quick with what they were doing. They said theyd do it the next day. Thats exactly what they did.     Our old unit gave out so we had to order a replacement from All Year. It was installed sometime the last week of March. Basically, everything is okay. The only thing that we have an issue with is the fact that when they were done working, they left without a filter. There were too many of them here and they were working like dogs. If you go through the manual that accompanies the unit, it clearly says to not use it without a filter.

    We immediately went to Home Depot to buy a filter but it was not the right size. The unit that we have came in an unusual size, and it does not follow the standard size of filters. We complained enough about it because we had to pay $11 for one of those disposable filters which jotted out too far. Furthermore, we didnt know what impact it would have on the unit since it wasnt the right size. They sent out a gentleman who was kind enough to nicely cut the fiber filter and thats whats in there right now. We still dont have the permanent filter. In my way of thinking, if you know ahead of time that you will be installing a unit, you should have a filter ready by the time you need to install it. This thing with the filter has been a very big issue for us. We are a little dismayed because we thought that for a unit that cost $3,300, we could expect more than this.

    In the years that I have been working with All Year, theyve been very good. This is our third unit with All Year, and its been 13 years since our last unit was put in so I would highly recommend them. The fact that the company is still run and maintained by the same guy is indicative of the quality. Maybe units now can be used without a filter for a certain amount of days or week I dont know. Generally, the experience has been very satisfactory. The people that are staffed to answer the phones are pleasant, and Tom is a very reliable owner.

    I called All Year Cooling exactly 14 months ago. They replaced the unit but within a few days, the unit was freezing over. I called the company; it’s still under warranty. The technician came out and said the installation was done wrong. Okay, they corrected the problem. One year after I purchased the A/C unit and days before the warranty expires, the company was calling about this "great" extended warranty offer. I refused and a month later, the A/C freezes over again. For real, not cool. Previous unit from Sears (Kenmore) lasting 13 years without any service calls.

    All Year Cooling put my unit in last February. The other one that I had was 18 years old. I actually have gotten a price quote from them back in October, because I have started having a problem with my AC, and I knew I was going to have to change it soon because they had to put Freon in it. The guy that checked it out said that everything in the outside unit was pretty much rusted out. I got maybe four or five different prices and they weren't the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive. But the gentleman that gave me the price also called me in December and talked to me then. I said, 'Well, I'm still not ready. It'll probably be close to February.' So he kept in touch with me and they were sending me emails. And so finally I figured, 'Well, February is here. I might as well go ahead and get it done before it gets hot, and then it's going to be hard to get them out because everybody is going to be having problems and everyone is going to be wanting them.' So that's when I decided to just have it done in February. I think their presentation for their pricing was more professional so that was something too.

    They were very good and professional. There were two guys here - one doing the outside unit, one doing the inside. And the one in the inside was explaining to me different things about the unit and he actually did extra things that I didn't know he was going to have to do, like my inside unit is not on an outside wall to drain; it has a pump to pump the water out of the system. And he actually moved it to a better spot on his own, because he said, 'They really shouldn't be there; it should be here and it will be more convenient for you here anyway.' And he went out of his way and did extra stuff. They were very good. Stress free.

    We had a replacement unit installed a couple of months ago. The other one was old. It's 13 years old, and when it cut off, I heard a lot of noise coming out of the unit outside - their compressor was rattling. So I put it on the internet that I was interested in vents. All Year called me in about 3 minutes after I put it on the internet. They were the first to call me. That was impressive. She was very, very nice (a very nice lady) and gave me a quote immediately. They told me about all the stuff, heard what happened, and they were there the day they said they were gonna be there.

    It's their overall demeanor that made us decide to go with them - they wanted to help. They wanted to know what was wrong first. They cared about what I thought.     We had All Year come to evaluate it. It was a split system - the air conditioner. Broward Factory Service evaluated it and we didn't like their service. So we said, 'We're not gonna use you to replace our unit.' So I went on the computer and found All Year on the internet and I called. We're very impressed with this nice young man in their sales department. It was excellent from the time we contacted him till he wrote up the order for inspection and then the order to have it replaced (within about 6 weeks ago). It's not surprising - he was very meticulous. My son who lives in Massachusetts (and I live in a condo) had to live with me because I'm 86 years old. He was very impressed with this young man. My son took care of everything and paid for it upfront. It's a totally new replacement compressor.

    They took their time to explain everything and the price was better. We're very happy with them. When our contract is up with Broward Factory in September, I want to switch to their company for my appliance contract. I would use them all the time from now on and recommend them to everyone.

    It would have to be approximately one month now since they installed the unit, which was a replacement for an old unit that went bad. After the installation, within a couple of days, I started having a problem with the unit that had nothing to do with the installation. It was factory part on the unit itself that needed to be replaced. They were prompt and courteous and got right back with me, and within 24 hours, they were up here and putting on a whole brand new one. So I really couldn't argue whatsoever and I would use them again.

    I think from the get-go, the interaction with the salesman was wonderful. I believe he was straightforward. I do believe he wasn't pushy; he wasn't trying to push anything on me that I didn't actually need. They gave me different options on pricing on different units. So just from the sales standpoint, I would say everything was very pleasant and I would do business again with them. The interaction with the installers was probably even more remarkable. I thought they were fantastic. And I'll say this right now, especially - both of them I believe were patient. And I believe their work ethic was just remarkable. They were very courteous to me and my family. Maybe in some incidences, they even went above and beyond to help me. So I really have no problems whatsoever - relaxing and non-pressure.

    I chose All Year because of the special financing that they had had and what I was reading about them was positive; however, I did not know until afterwards that they had filed for bankruptcy and was restructuring their division. So I admit that kind of scared me a little bit; however, it wasn't that bad. I actually have recommended All Year to people. I even went to their website afterwards and posted something very positive about them.

    We had a unit that All Year installed about 5 years ago, but they just put one in a week and a half ago. We have a service contract with them and when I called a week and a half or so ago, the heat wasn't working in one of the units (we have two units). The service tech came out, checked it and said the unit needs to be replaced. I said we'll call Tom (I've dealt with him before, obviously). He got Tom on the phone. I said, 'Can you do it tomorrow?' Tom gave me a price and he said the guys will be here tomorrow morning. And they were, with the unit. They took the old one out, put the new unit in, the handler as well as condenser. They did a great job, no problem, so everything went just about as smooth as it could go.

    We used to deal with a different company. We've dealt with them for fourteen years, even before we bought this house. We needed the unit replaced 5 years or so ago and got estimate from them. Then I saw the next morning in the newspaper All Year's ad, and I called. Tom gave me a quote on the exact same unit. It saved me quite a bit of money. I told him, 'From now on, we'll do business with you.' The company called back and said, 'We'll meet their price.' 'Now you want to adjust the price after somebody has it now.' It was over a thousand dollars more. It was like a hundred bucks or something. And that's a company that we had a maintenance contract with and did all our service for over 13 years. So, when this popped up, and he was able to do it the next day, it worked out great for us.

    I had interaction with the installers; I was watching. They were nice guys. I got them a pizza pie for lunch. So, they did a great job. And I had no questions, no problems. It was clean, as clean as you can go with an installation like that. And I was critical too, because we had just put brand new carpeting in the room that they had the traffic in to take the old unit out and put the new one in. They were efficient and on time. It was a pleasant experience. As a matter of fact, I sent Tom an email the same night that they finished, thanking him for the great service.

And what kind of got me too is that they're based out of one particular area and I guess in my area once in a while.     The replacement unit is in our rental property, and it's been about 2 and a half weeks since we had it installed. It was recommended to us by another company that it should be replaced. And when they opened up the unit, it was so moldy and it was just time; it was inefficient. It was 17 years old. I'd like to say that I'm a smart consumer. And I called 3 or 4 different air conditioning companies. All Year Cooling called me right back. They scheduled an estimate the next day. They gave me the estimate and the paperwork the next day. They called within a day or two to see if I had any question. And the price was very good, compared to the other companies I called. Some companies never returned my call. One company scheduled an estimate but never showed up. The other estimate was about a thousand dollars over what All Year Cooling was. So I have only good things to say about All Year Cooling. As a matter of fact, I was thinking about putting a new unit in our own home, because we had such a fantastic experience with All Year Cooling.

    It's the first time experience with All Year. I chose them over a different company because of their pricing and reputation. They were very, very responsive. They got the unit ordered and put in pretty quickly after we negotiated the price. One unit was a replacement and one was an addition, so I have two units. This was done the last week of December. They're very knowledgeable. They came back to my house a couple of times. I asked them a few months ago then I had them come back and look at it, because I wasn't exactly sure what to do. It did take longer than expected - that part was a little disappointing. The one person that did work on it, he did a great job, very respectful of our home, he was just great to work with and to me he did it very well. It's just that there weren't enough people to help him and he could've been done with it quicker. He said it would take longer than he projected. But the quality is just fine.

    The only thing that they could improve on is the initial amount of time it took, keeping the right timeframe they had initially estimated. And then we had to have them come back out because the heating element was not installed correctly. When I actually go down here, which doesn't happen very often, the heating isn't working. They were very responsive and they got it done very quickly once we notified them. If that was completed as described, I would've given them a 5. It was a good experience overall with a few minor glitches that were all quickly resolved.

    I spent over $6,000 to have both my condenser and air handler units replaced 4 years ago to avoid expensive repair bills. The installation was fine and the price for the new units was fair. But this is where the good news ends! I have 10-year warranty on my new system that covers all parts. In the last 2 months, my Rheem systems have failed twice. No problem, it's under warranty right? Nope! The parts are warrantied; the labor is not and AYC scams you big time. I cannot get the warranty part if I don't buy their labor to do the install. I do not know how this is even legal. They want $425 to install a fan motor which is literally 4 screws and 5 quick disconnect wires to plug in. This might be 10 minutes worth of work for a 15-year-old. I can order the part online from Amazon but cannot buy it locally because I am not an AC contractor, so I am forced to pay AYC a ridiculous fee (yet again) for labor to get my warranty parts for free. This is an absolute scam.

After three service calls, I was told they would have to charge for checking the leaks underground. The calls and emails I directed to the company president were not returned. After further calls, another technician said a new part was required, and we would have to pay an $89.00 fee for this, on a unit less than 8 months old. I felt we were over a barrel and had no choice but to proceed. Now, we are being offered an extended warranty for $299 through to 2021. Can I trust this? I still do not have a return call from the president.

    I have a property that I've had for a while. The unit was like 13 years old, so I replaced the whole unit. I got one from All Year like 2 weeks ago - more of an update. I heard about All Year before from people that's why I chose them. I work for Home Depot. Even the Home Depot, my friends that work there, they said the price is fair. The time that they came here, it was a Sunday. On Monday morning, at 9 o'clock they were here doing the job. By 4 o'clock they were done. They installers did a great job. The whole thing, from the beginning, from the phone call I did, and when I spoke to Kevin, the in-charge, he spoke to me and we worked out the price and the time. Everything was pretty good. I'm used to customer service and again, that's how it's supposed to be. I think these guys were fantastic. I'm very happy with them. They're professional. Definitely, I'd recommend these guys.

    They installed a new A/C for me last summer. It was a condo and it was a replacement. I'm a realtor, and it's a unit property I manage. And the A/C was 23 years old and it was gone. So, we didn't have a choice. So far so good. They were really prompt. In fact, they were quicker than I could get them into the building and just great follow through. And so far, the service has been great. They just did another one for me just recently - it's a different building. But they actually had to order a unit from Texas. Because it's custom-built over there and they just did that. Thus far, I have nothing but the highest praise for them.

    I did have interactions with the installers this time, not the first time. And I just happened to go up to the building and they were still there. They were great. They were finished by the time I got there, but then they just showed me, because I know the unit looks different. We were showing the tenant some things. There were some things he explained to me. Somebody put the filter in a totally different place. It's really weird. Again, they were great. The first one that they did last summer, I did have to have them come back for some service afterwards. I don't remember how long afterwards, but they came back and there was no charge or anything. They did a service call. So far so good.

    I have a customer of mine who owns a lot of investment properties. He's pretty experienced. And I just had a hard time with A/C companies, and he highly recommended All Year. So, that's why I ended up calling them. And I've already recommend All Year actually. Excellent. Professional.

    Our experience with All Year was good. I've known about them since the 70's, but my wife actually contacted them. I thought that they were excellent. And the owner actually did what he said he was going to do. And the guys he sent out were quality workmen and tradesmen. They were extremely timely. The workers came in and did everything. I've had my unit for a while. Everything was clean and nice and well done. I can't say anything bad about them. I would highly recommend them to anybody. In this day and age, you don't find too many things where people actually do what they say they're going to do. There were no extras added on or hidden or anything like that.     They've been terrific. I haven't needed to call for anything. My air condition's running perfect. When they put it in originally, they were terrific to work with. No complaints whatsoever. The only reason that I don't give it a five is because (even though it is probably not in your control) I got three issues with the A/C, which they have come and fixed every time. I've been a customer of All Year for about a year. I bought my A/C in February 2012. I'd definitely recommend them. They beat the price by the next guy by a reduced amount, and they've been good. I think maybe that the product I got might be inferior, but their service has been good. I would say good experience, comfortable experience.

But we were basically very pleased with the installation, with the whole experience. We really were. The technicians took the old unit out and installed the new unit.     The installation went smoothly and the fellow seems very knowledgeable. I got my unit in December, so I've had it for one year. So far, so good. I called them up once I had a problem or something. The guy came; he actually found nothing wrong with the system. And then he told me they could have billed me for it. And I said I never heard of that, because I took out an extended 10-year labor with them. So I called up the owner because they gave you his phone number there. And it's okay. We'll let it slide this time. So that was the only little detrimental thing. But other than that, I haven't had any problems with the unit. I got a Trane. I worked for the extra money on that. But the only experience was that and the installation.

    And the two fellows who installed it, they were excellent, very knowledgeable. But even the guy who came for the repair (the tech), I had a hard start. But I went from 3-ton to 3 1/2-ton. I had a hard start from the 3-ton. But it turned out it wouldn't work with the 3 1/2. I said, 'How do you hook it up?' And he said, 'That won't work with the 3 1/2. It's a different one.'And he showed me; he got one from the truck, and he said, 'This is it.' So I said, 'How much is that?' I think it was (I'm not sure) one something. He gave me a little info ('You could get it cheaper'). I copied down the part number and I went online. I bought it and they showed me where to place it on the unit and I did so.

    The technicians and the installation team did a very good job. It's been an easy process to get them out here and schedule time with them to install the unit. I haven't had any troubles at all. Or, let's say they were looking to make a sale. They always come. When they want your money, they're always there. Overall, it's been a very good experience with All Year.

    The guy they sent out to sell the product, sell the unit, was Kelly. He and his brother both worked for them. He was very congenial, pleasant, very knowledgeable. He gave me all the ins and outs of other companies like Trane and some other options would be produced by the same manufacturer. So after all that was said and done, I decided to go with the brand that was already installed in my home when I bought it, which was the Rheem, and I've had no complaints. They came out when I had a problem with the thermostat box on the wall. I had a problem with it. The guy was out the next day or two days later and changed it out, calibrated it and I've been extremely satisfied. They installed it on July 24th of 2012.

Then they came the next day after that and they straightened it out. Since they put that in, I've never used them before. They put in a good unit and everything.     They've been fine. They were very good in the follow-up, when I asked them for quotes and things like that. The only problem I had when they did install the unit was it did not work correctly the first time they put it in. They sent a guy out. They couldn't diagnose till they got a third guy out. So that's a little bit of an issue. But the unit is quiet and no problem with that. But my wife says it doesn't cool as good as the old unit does. Well, the old unit has different Freon so that might be a reason. I'm not quite sure. Within the last six months I switched over to All Year Cooling and Heating. I'd definitely tell my family and friends to go call them and get a quote and have them come out, measure, and give you the material. They were very open about giving me the material on the unit and talking to me about how it was going to work and the quietness of it and things like that. They were good like in sending me the information that I needed. They were good in giving my warranty information. They gave me everything else I needed for my inspection from the city and things like that. So I can't complain about that. I think old units cool better than new units do. The only thing is maybe we can do something with the unit to get a little bit more cooling output. Again, that might be the Freon or new technology and stuff like that. But as an experience with the people, they were fine in trying to resolve the issues and giving me information.

    I would definitely recommend All Year Cooling. They are courteous and professional. The technician was very good and very informative. It didn't feel like I was on his way by asking him questions. And the staff, the manager of All Year Cooling, the service guy, he was very nice. It was a difficult situation because the air conditioning was only doing this when nobody's here, and I was here all alone - I'm disabled. So then I called them and explained to them. And then they didn't really get it at first. But what I did was I recorded it. I took a recording when it started kicking. I went and recorded the sound of the compressor. It would kick on and then cut off like seconds later, and then it would do it again. And then like the third time, it would kick on and stay on, which was fine because my house needed cooling. But apparently, it was the thermostat that was wrong and sending the wrong signal.

    They were great. They were out here right away. I know that they are not based in Miami, and they are in Broward. They were here, like the very next day. I was very surprised, happily surprised. Also, the ordering process was easy. It was easy to get to them and contact with them. I was able to speak to a manager because I had this; it was a precarious situation I was in, because they've sent somebody out here, and it wasn't doing it then. I looked foolish and I'm saying, 'What? You guys gotta believe me. It's really doing this.' 'Well, we can't fix this if it's not doing it. We don't know what it is.' And then I said, 'Oh ok.' And the guy left. The service technician left. And the very next day, my wife and I, we said, 'Look, we have to do something about this.'

    I think that the service staff is very intelligent there because I told them, and we're discussing it. It was preventative. I mean if it kept doing that, eventually my compressor might have blown or something else could have gone out on the unit, which is a relatively new unit. Once I played him the recording, he said, 'Oh yeah, I gotta get somebody out there.' And then I asked him, 'What should I do? What should I explain to the technician?' He said, 'No. If there's any question, play him that tape you just played me.' (because I played him a short tape. It was short and sweet, and it was like to the point). And they came up with the thermostat. They replaced the thermostat for me. They were very helpful. They're great. They checked everything else too, and everything's fine. We're happy. We just want good service.

    I definitely would recommend them to friends and family. But this particular community is pretty old. It's about 15 years old. We bought here pre-construction. And the AC unit we replaced a couple of years ago, I guess. And the other houses, not all of them have replaced. I've been telling people to get it. I'm saving $185 a month on electricity. So, I'm really having good time, and I tell people about it. I tell them what I did at the initial expense. It seems expensive, but in the long run, it pays for itself. I'm on board with All Year, for sure.

    This company installed new air conditioning systems for me over a year ago. I was happy about what they did over a year ago. Well, I like the company very much. But it's been hard to get to the bottom of some things. They have all kinds of stuff they want to do, but it's trying to figure out what one needs. I mean that's the hard part. It's always the hard part because salespeople exaggerate sometimes. They don't know what they're talking about sometimes. My experience varies because it's a very different thing between $15,000 on air conditioning and heating systems for a big house and then the quality time to find out about duct cleaning. However, they deserve a good score.

    Duct cleaning. Florida Power & Light is the big utility in South Florida and they're a really big utility. Florida Power & Light comes into test assessments for different things to make sure that their customers have the best opportunity to save money on electricity expense. Being in South Florida, we don't have all a lot of them, gas expensive heating because it doesn't get very cold here. So they came over and one of the things they do is they check out whether the air conditioning systems are well connected to their ducts and plenums and the ducts are well connected to the fans, which is easy if you look up to that ceiling and you see the thing that the air comes out of. You can go buy lots of new compressors/condensers and even buy all the hardware to make your home comfortable. And if you don't attach to the stuff that it goes through very well, it would probably stink, not to mention if it's 90 in and out, and all you're doing is air conditioning the attic. You wonder what's wrong.

    They came out and they checked out our ducts. Because when we spent $6,000 in new systems, we offered to replace anything that was bad with our ducts and asked them to make sure everything was together well, because we did a lot of duct replacements in 2005, which is recent enough that you shouldn't have to be doing it again. But I knew that we've had cable Olympics up there and I wasn't sure what they've damaged - and they did their damage. So they found some stuff (Florida Power & Light), and mostly they apply meters and put pressure on lines to measure whether with the pressure that's emanating from what they've put their pressure with is showing up to the far end of something or what this stuff is leaking. So I know all of these really good things they do from visual testing and crawling around up there. And they told me that I was in pretty darn good shape; they mentioned one thing that was a little stupid and tell me what I can do about that. And I thanked them.

    Now, I also met two other kinds of guys. The one was that half ads in these free flyers, which you get with your newspaper, in a top of a town 'something' where you can get your ducts cleaned for like 5 cents a vent. They come out, and for as little as possible (they do it as little as possible), they use a product that has little bumping thing on the end of it. And they tell you how they're going to put this in and suck all the filth out of your ducts, and of course unless you have metal or rectangular-shaped ducts such as what we've used in office... If you have flex ducts, which are basically flexible and cylindrical, they are like slinkies - they squish together. And what lets them squish are lots of little rings that support the softer material that cover up the rings. These rings have caused rips on the inside. And between the rips, the soft spots can collect some filth over time.

    And these duct guys' flaw - when you get sometimes the ones that are going to do everything with an adequate equipment shape, without the **. And then you get the other guys who claim to be more certified, and what they claim they do all the time is clean the air distribution system for the intensive care operating arenas. One guy wants $59.95 plus $112 to do a house. This guy comes up with a simple proposal in which he wants $14,000 but you get lights equipment (ultraviolet light) that kill the dust mites and the mold; they get everything taken apart and re-fixed.

    All Year Cooling & Heating uses a product that does not sell a solution. But if they did anything more involved, it would probably cost more than any of their clientele would care about. So they offer the service that they do, pretty much based on the market that is out there - that is just how it is. And they were quick to point out that it might be wise to shop and look around before I talk to Florida Power & Light, because they didn't want to oversell me. So I like that. It really is very noble of them. And I've been meaning to call them up to buy a maintenance program because I like it. They were also pushing a warranty extension program that didn't make a lot of sense. But anyway, you have to assume this stuff's gonna start blowing up early, so I think they are really reputable.

    What they gave us were a bunch of Rheem products. It's a very responsible and sensible kind of a product. I have the exact same equipment priced by two companies where I live in Boca Raton, Florida, which is an upscale suburb. The companies here uniformly quoted four to six thousand dollars more than they did.

    They really are fantastic. Anytime I had a question or anything I was concerned about, they responded immediately. And on the day they said they would come, they were here very early.     They were great. They really were. The only thing I will tell you is that the new air conditioner is a drier cool than what you're used to. It takes a little while to get used to the fact with the new freon and stuff in there. It's not a wet conditioning cool. It's a drier cool. It's hard to explain but it's different. But it's not anything that they have had any control over. Everything went fine. The only hiccup we had was because of the forward of rebates, and I don't know that that was necessarily their fault as much as I think it was the state's fault. But they were very good about helping us, and that was only our real problem. Overall, they've been wonderful. March might be our two-year anniversary on this thing. So, we feel good. We haven't had any problems and when we have, they came right out.

    It was good. The only thing I wish they had done is I'm still not sure whether I have a Rheem warranty or do I have their company warranty. They didn't make that clear. I thought I was buying a total warranty, but I was only buying a parts warranty. If you were buying a car and you buy a Ford warranty where you buy the dealership's warranty, I'm still not sure what warranty I have. And they didn't make that clear. It has kind of left a bad taste in my mouth over the company.

    The salesmen are more interested in selling stuff than they are in making their self clear. You actually need a very clear item that this is a Rheem warranty. Somebody asked me and I said I don't know, because that's going to kill sales for them. Because no one wants to buy a service contract from their company because they didn't go out of business... Rheem isn't going out of business. The service department that sells the warranty does not make it clear what I'm buying. And I bought it - like I said, I paid $500 for it. A couple of people said I got ripped off, which I have not been able to verify one way or the other. But other than that, I mean the service guy was good. I had seen him about two weeks ago.

    They got some loopholes in their company that need to be addressed. They got my neighbor who's going to call them up. I said, 'Well, they didn't make that clear to you, then why would I buy them again?' There are two counties down and he was questioning whether they can get up here. They have the service capabilities. That's my only problem. I guess I should call them up as soon as I think about it. I guess they can answer the question, but I shouldn't have any questions. That should have already been made very clear to me. They should say, 'This is a Rheem. It's guaranteed for 10 years for parts...' You know what I mean? 'Whether we do it or somebody else does it, you are protected.' But they didn't. So, I have to find that out.

    The service guy did a good job. He was really nice. He did everything he's supposed to. My experience has been good. That's basically so far.

    It's mixed results with this company. The young man (sales rep) who came out to measure the space for the unit (a Trane) did not measure properly. The next day, the two gentlemen who came out to install could not fit it in the space - it was too tight. It was a complete waste of time for me and the two installers (who were also annoyed). They re-measured and we had to get another unit that would fit. The guys that came out the next day were over an hour late. It wasn't a big deal but just another added inconvenience. Due to the above, the young sales rep had promised to give us a discount on some new vent covers. The installers took measurements but every time we called, we couldn't reach the sales rep nor did we get a call back. After no response, we gave up and chalked it up as a overall mediocre experience with AYC.

    We also had issues getting an appointment set up with AYC once the city inspector declared what improvements were needed. Like others, our unit froze after 3 years. After turning it off and defrosting it, the issue has not returned and I haven't had to be at the mercy of AYC (knock on wood). We are happy with the unit in general. And I'm not even mad about the false promises and discounts or the young sales rep's inexperience. The most annoying thing is AYC's Call Center who would call constantly, trying to sell us extended warranties on the unit even before a year of ownership! They were really rude and pushy. After blowing up on them, they haven't bothered us. I hate to be rude but it was getting ridiculous and borderline harassment. I don't think I will ever recommend AYC after the above experiences, unprofessionalism, and poor customer service!

    I had my A/C unit installed in 2011 and still after almost 2 years, the city keeps sending me letters about me not being allowed to do any changes on my property until inspection is performed. I have called All Year Cooling more than 10 times and they had always scheduled the inspection (every single time I called), but inspection had not been done or done with problems. There was a time they did it but there were technical problems with the installation; they fixed it later. Another time, the inspector came but there was no ladder on the property to go into the roof where the unit is. They had been issued two permits already and still inspection hasn’t been done.

    Besides the poor quality of their tech guys who installed my A/C and leave a separation of almost 5 inches from unit to wall making my house leak as a water fall when it rained, and their way of avoiding responsibility taking almost two years to complete a single inspection, there is nothing else left than the unit. They better start a store where they sell units but not be involved in any service or installation. Sorry, but I will never recommend or buy any other unit from them.

    I purchased a new trane unit and extended warranty agreement 4/11/09. It ran good, is energy efficient and had no issues until unit froze up on 9/05/12. When I called for service, AYC sent a tech the next day who diagnosed the culprit, a bad fan motor. He collected money for restocking fee and said it will be fixed tomorrow. After a week of phone calls (song and dance), two more service calls (consistently two hours late), the first to remove said fan and the second to replace (9/12/12), the only constant reason for delay was, "It's not my fault." I wonder when the last time anyone at AYC went a week without A/C in September for a fan motor! Disappointed and disgusted!

    I had a new 4-ton unit installed back in December 2009 by All Year Cooling. After 5 months of installation, my unit stops working completely! I call the company and they send a worker out to fix the situation. Then after 3 months, it breaks down again. I call the company to file a complaint, they send someone out again to fix it, and the guy goes “It’s just something small and we'll fix it.” I figure ok, they know what they’re doing, but I was wrong. The air unit decides to break down again 3 weeks later!

    To get to the point, my new A/C unit, which is a 4-ton Rheem, has broken down 20 times since installed; and All Year Cooling fail to fix the problem! I finally got to the point where I said let me call another company and get rid of this unit and just have a new unit properly installed (because I found out All Year Cooling has a bad consumer rating and is not even an authorized dealer to sell certain units)! Rheem doesn't even give them a good rating! They failed to properly install my unit and also refused to give me a new unit after 20 times of them trying to fix the problem that apparently they are so incompetent to even accomplish!

    The owner, Thomas Smith, is also a jerk and doesn't even take care of this issue! If anyone else is in the same boat, I say call an attorney and the Better Business Bureau. This way they get there licensed revoke because they do not deserve to be doing business in Broward or any other county! If anyone is in need of a new A/C unit, I highly recommend Air America Air Conditioning Company because they are literally one of the top companies! I did my research and called the BBB. They all give great ratings and say they are very reliable! As for All Year Cooling, I give them one star because their company is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with!

    I had a new AC unit installed two months ago. While installing, the tech drilled through the wall and through the tile in my shower. When I called All Year, they sent out a repairman to “fix” the tile. I told the company and the repairman I would only be satisfied if the old and new tile matched. Well they don't. The repair sticks out like a sore thumb because the tile used does not match the color or texture of the original shower tile. I wrote and called the company to complain and sent them a certified letter asking for their insurance information so I could file a claim to get my shower restored. They refused to send their insurance information. It looks like my only option now is to call in an attorney. Don't use All Year; they do not stand behind their work. Customer service with All Year is a joke!

After countless phone calls and visits from a number of different service technicians, I regret to say I still don't have any air. I am thoroughly disgusted with this company and feel I'm being given the runaround. It also appears that there is little or no communication between the technicians and the office staff. I received a phone call this afternoon, Thursday, July 26th letting me know what time a technician would be out tomorrow morning to install a float switch. The technician who was here this morning already installed a float switch. I received another call from someone who advised me that a tech would be here first thing Monday morning. After a week without air and very little sleep, Monday wasn't good enough. You guys need to sharpen it up.

The nice thing was that the old unit that was installed was oversized and never made the home comfortable in the summer. The contractor installed a proper sized unit and the home has never been as comfortable in the summer and the added bonus is the electrical costs went down. It is nice to get quality workmanship for a change. It runs quieter than my last unit and uses less energy. Now the air conditioner is quiet and runs like a top.     Since writing my review last week, All Year Cooling and Heating has promised to refund a portion of the $250 that I was charged for having a portion of the wall rebuilt. The resulting charge is now the $75 that was originally discussed with the manager of the company.

    The salesman came to my house to give me an estimate. Later that day, he called to follow up and the owner of the company even called to thank me for allowing his company to give me an estimate. Once I gave the okay for the estimate, all the customer service stopped. The technicians came on time but once they removed my old unit, they informed me that I would have to have part of a wall rebuilt and if I wanted them to do it, it would cost $250.

    What choice did I have? I no longer had an AC unit. It was 90 degrees outside and who else would do the job without notice? I agreed to have them fix the wall and called the office about the extra charge where I was told that perhaps the charge should have only been $75 and they would "get back to me". After I called multiple times, I was told the charge would stand. Also, the technicians did not have the supplies to cover the cooling line even though it was clearly indicated on the work order.

    After multiple calls, always initiated by me, I was told this afternoon that someone would be out in the morning to cover the cooling line. If I had not have called the office, I would have never been given this information. There was no regard to my schedule and the fact that I have a job. I had to reschedule the job for next week. The same scenario occurred with the door frame that had to be fixed after the new unit was installed. No phone calls from the office and no information given until the last minute.

    I have a hard time believing that this type of customer service can keep a company in business. Everyone I know is aware of my experience and will keep this in mind when searching for a company for their AC needs.

    My air conditioning was installed in October of last year. Since the first day it was installed, it was not working properly. The problem is that it runs a long time and it takes almost 45 minutes to shut off. Several technicians were here to fix the problem and nobody was able to fix it. The technicians this company has are very incompetent and I do not think they are qualified to fix air conditioning. I am very dissatisfied and angry. They lied to me several times that they were coming to fix it and finally they showed up after the 4th call.

    All Year Cooling is a great company to work with. They offer "throw back" service and great prices. In today's economy, you find that the level of service has decreased, as most companies utilize overworked employees who have to run through 20 jobs a day or else they get docked pay, but not with All Year Cooling. The technicians stayed at my rental property until the job was done right, allowing me to rent out my unit to potential tenants much sooner. I recommend them.

    All Year Cooling recently replaced the air conditioning system in my house. I was very pleased with the entire process from start to finish. I called and spoke to a guy named Kevin about setting up an estimate. He sent over a very nice man named Eric to take measurements and ultimately see what kind of unit I needed. Eric explained the different brands and offered me multiple choices of systems that I could use in my house. He was not pushy and I appreciated him not trying to pressure me into buying there on the spot. I ultimately got 3 other estimates and all of the other sales guys were very pushy. And they wanted to know what it was going to take to get me to buy right there on the spot.

    All Year Cooling had the best price of all 4 estimates that I received. And after it was all said and done, they even bonused me a free year of preventative maintenance and a free UV light system. The installers came out to my house two days later and had the job finished in less than 3 hours. My new A/C system has saved me about $120 on my monthly electric bill. And it is so quiet. You cannot even tell it is running. All Year Cooling gets two thumbs up from this guy! You should for sure call them if you are in the market for a new A/C system!

    All Year is an authorized Trane air conditioning distributor. We bought a unit from them in early 2010. Then a few months later, a service man named Jimmy arrived to check over the air conditioner. He said that it would run better if we installed a UV light. We did so at a cost of $400.00. In mid November of 2011, we had another Trane distributor (ECM) check the unit. Their service man indicated that the UV light was not a Trane part, and would not last very long. The use of the non Trane part makes Trane's 10 year parts warranty null and void. We also paid All Year a fee of another $400.00 for an extended service warranty, which they themselves have now made null and void.

    In November I registered a complaint with Consumer Affairs about my new AC installation and continuing problems that I was having with All Year Cooling. I was contacted by the owner of All Year Cooling within 5 days of my complaint. He addressed all of my issues, made the changes to my satisfaction and offered me an upgraded warranty. He apologized for my inconvenience and I am very happy with the end results.

    The county failed my installation, because All Year did not install to code. All Year's solution was to spin my compressor, and leave me with a mess, an eyesore, and a disaster. They told me that was the only alternative. They lied. I have paid good money for a system that has not worked right from day one. A surge protector, an All Year repair man sold me, blew and damaged my house. Steve **, the All Year electrician told me that surge protector was "a piece of **". I am left with a very unprofessional mess beside my house, and All Year has not even had the courtesy to reply to me. All Year stinks.

    All Year Cooling & Heating is an authorized distributor for Trane Air Conditioners. We bought a unit from them, which was installed in the Spring of 2010. Trane provides a full 10 year warranty on parts, and All Year charged us $400.00 for the labor portion of the warranty. On May 11, 2010, Jimmy, their service rep, visited us to inspect the unit, and advised that to make it more efficient, it needed a UV light, at a cost of $400.00. He indicated that it was a genuine Trane part, and installed the light. On Nov 16, 2011, we had another authorized Trane distributor inspect the unit, and they advised, and wrote on a service note that the UV light was not a Trane part.

    Due to the installation of a non Trane part, the 10 year parts warranty is now null and void. Plus, All Year is charging us a fee for the labor portion of the warranty, when they themselves, caused the warranty to become null and void

    5+ Stars for All Year Cooling. They made a stressful situation easy, by coming out and diagnosing our machine for free. This was nice, as I was not sure if we had a problem with blown A/C, which needed a new filter or something. The service technician was courteous, friendly, and knew what he was talking about. Better yet, he was able to give me a quote that I shopped around, and found that All Year Cooling had the best pricing in town. I highly recommend them to you. I purchased a new A/C system. I am a very happy customer.

    The A/C was installed in June 2010. In less than a year, it stopped working. They said it needed a part. They missed an appointment. They never called when contacted. They said the part didn't come in. Then, they rescheduled the appointment. Now, 2 1/2 months later, it stopped working again. After one and a half weeks, it is still not fixed. They couldn't say when would the part be in. They never called back. Then, they said that the part was in scheduled appointment. They never showed up again. They rescheduled the appointment. But then, they didn't show up. They said they didn't have an appointment scheduled. Now, I'm still waiting for the 3rd appointment.

    I Purchased a 5-Ton Trane 17 Seer air conditioning system with Clean Effects on March 24,2008. On Dec 4, 2008, we contacted the installer, All Year Cooling, because the unit was shutting down intermittently and we couldn't understand why. We live in Florida so the A/C is used almost all year. We also noticed that the unit didn't cool to the setting we chose.

    We had a technician from All Year Cooling come out and he couldn't find a problem. Since it was winter, we were confident that All Year knew what they were doing. On June 18, 2009, we contacted All Year Cooling again because once again the unit was not cooling. They sent out another technician that said the refrigerant was low. The unit was 15 months old. The technician added refrigerant, reset the system and stated that the unit was fine.

    On April 9, 2011 we contact All Year Cooling again for the same problem. This time the unit would reach a certain temperature and just shut down for hours. Once again, they sent a technician. This technician was more thorough and used something called a "sniffer" tool. He immediately determined that our coil in the air handler had a leak. We showed him our service records and he believed that the problem was a manufacturing flaw and was the cause from the beginning. We contacted Trane (dozens of phone calls to reach a person) who told us that the unit was out of warranty but they might send a new coil at no charge to us.

    They refused to acknowledge that the coil was defective in the first place and now we were responsible for all labor costs. Our air handler is suspended from the ceiling of our garage and it takes a small crane and 4 men to take it down and put it back up. All Year Cooling would not accept responsibility either in that none of their technicians researched the problem thoroughly enough to determine the problem from the first service call back in Dec. 2008. Overall, Trane was no help, All Year Cooling sent sub-par technicians and the manager/owner is impossible to reach. We have been told in no uncertain terms that we are on our own. Also, Clean Effects is a total waste of money. No Benefit whatsoever other than it is 100 times harder to clean than replacing a cardboard filter. All Year Cooling has made no attempt to resolve this.

    On 9/5/10, we had All Year Cooling give us an estimate to replace our air conditioning unit, at the time when the state of Florida was giving a $1,500 rebate for units replaced from 8/30/10 to 12/31/10. We had our unit replaced on 9/10/10. To be eligible for the rebate, we needed to have an "Air Distribution System test", costing us $600, and the unit needed to be approved by the county. The test was performed on 9/29/10 and passed. The county inspection was done and the unit did not pass inspection.

    After numerous appointments with All Year Cooling (at least 3 and no one showed up), they finally completed the work on 3/5/11, and it passed inspection on 3/7/11. Due to the fact that it took All Year Cooling 6 months to complete the job, we were too late to submit the paperwork for the rebate. All rebate forms needed to be postmarked by 1/31/2011.

    Mr Wetzel did not recieve his 1500.00 rebate from the State Fla. When I was made aware of this situation Mr Wetzel was given a check for the 1500.00 by All Year Cooling to make it right. We take this matters very seriously and hope the end come was acceptable to Mr Wetzel

    My new A/C installation took one month and a half to be at a comfort level, it started on 16 Apr 2010. Today, I am still not satisfied but I am told I have no more options and the way the A/C is working is what it is and I have to accept it. My privacy has been shot as I have had over 15 technicians from All Year Cooling visit my home, and in the end with no air after a new installation.

    Air handler has been replaced once as it was wrongfully installed. Compatible thermostat was not installed properly the first time then the second one was wired wrong. Please do not contract All Year Cooling and dealing with them is also very stressful and they do not value their customers. It caused lots of stress, work time and usage of vacation, inconveniences and still not satisfied.

    Before you purchase anything from this firm, contact me. I am in the process of getting my money back for failure of this firm to supply and install all contracted equipment they agreed to in writing. So far within 50 days after installing improperly new A/C, they have been in my house a dozen times and still have not fulfilled their obligations. The office staff refuses to reply to email or call. Don’t believe one word they say, even if it’s in writing you won’t get satisfaction. They even overcharged for a permit. I have documented proof that this business took 5 service calls to fix one problem. For your sake, don’t buy an A/C from this place. They don’t know what it means. A word is a word. They even refuse to return money that they agreed to do in writing. I’m awaiting refund from participating credit bank before final payment is due. I am capable of getting satisfaction sans legal help since I have complete paper proof.

    My upstairs AC was not cooling. We called All Year Heating and Cooling, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.The technician reported the problem in the valve connecting to unit and the unit being 10 years old, he couldn't find the part and might take a while. Afraid to be without air for long, I agreed to replace it with a new air handler. Air handler was replaced 9/11/2009 but there was not enough cooling compared to my downstairs (10 year old) unit and it stopped cooling in couple of weeks again.They came in, filled in freon again. When I asked why was it low on freon again, there was no answer. Winter started and we didn't use AC for almost 6 months and come April (2010), and there's no cooling again.

    Now the story has changed. There is a leak in the copper duct under the slab and it needs to be changed with estimate of $1250. The problem was not with the old air handler but it seems, the slab leak and I paid for $1650 to replace my working air handler? My frustration ism despite my asking why systems get so frequently low on freon, the office did not listen. Air handler also came with the faulty transformer making buzz noise. It took them weeks to reduce to it to a comfortable level. On earlier install of AC condenser unit, they wired new unit in parallel to old one. Now I have two condensers running off the same switch and they want to get paid to fix this.

    Over ten (10) months ago, I hired All Year to install a new air conditioning unit and ductwork. I paid this company in full. Unfortunately All Year's work is not passing the City of Fort Lauderdale final inspection. They have tried to change the plans so they do not have to change out the duct work but they have failed numerous times with the city. Subsequently I have been given stall tactics and missed appointments over the past 2.5 months. This company refuses to provide any timetable for the completion of the job.

    I have made several attempts to contact All Year, to no avail. I have been told a number of times that someone would be sent over to fix the problems and complete the job but either no shows up or they send a tech with no idea why they were sent. More importantly, All Year's problems with the city inspectors are preventing me from getting a final Certificate of Occupancy (C/O).

    After many attempts I finally hired an attorney to send a demand letter. Two weeks after the demand letter was sent the proprietor, Tom Smith Jr., finally agreed to bring another inspector in to get a final analysis of what need to be done in order to pass inspection. The appointment was set for Dec. 1st 2006. Unfortunately, there was a sewage back up on 11/29 in my apartment preventing me from keeping the 12/1 appt.

    I called All Year on 11/29/06 informing their office that my apartment was a health hazard and it is advisable to move the appointment after all of the waste was cleared. Since then Mr. Smith refused to answer any of my calls. I have left dozens of messages and Mr. Smith Jr. is not only responding he has made no attempts to try to set another appointment.

    Now I am forced to either hire another company to complete the job and take All Year to court. All Year's problems with the city inspectors are preventing me from getting a final Certificate of Occupancy (C/O). I can not afford to hire another contractor to correct All Year's work. I require that they either refund part of my money to hire another contractor or resolve the violations as outlined in the City Inspector's report.
