    All Year Cooling came out, replaced the unit, and did a fine job. They did what I asked them to, nothing more. Also, the pricing was great. I just wish their estimating process was more detailed. I requested a service estimate for 6 units, and they just sent back a number. There was no specifics on what was included in the service call and I've never seen a more generic, less detailed estimate for work in my entire professional career. They really dropped the ball there.

    My experience with All Year Cooling has always been pleasant. I've been using them for over 20 years now. I've had multiple issues that they fixed. They've replaced the inside and outside units.     I've bought three air conditioners from All Year Cooling over the last 15 years. Once you're ready to go forward, they install it the next day. It happens so fast, it's scary. In the morning, their customer service is awful busy, though, and they spin you off into an answering service which is kind of annoying. But other than that, they get back to you pretty quickly.

    I wrote down my information through the internet and then I received a call from All Year Cooling 45 minutes later. We scheduled an appointment and it was very effective. They changed both air conditioning units, the one in the roof and the one inside my condo. My experience so far is great. The customer service was very good and I was very satisfied. The AC is working fine. The only thing is that we didn't pass the inspection because of some piece in the breakers. But it's not affecting me either. So, it's something that they need to change and then they need to schedule another inspection.

    I do air conditioning work, so I know a few things and being an AC guy, I wanted to make sure that as an AC company, All Year Cooling did what they were supposed to. I went up on the roof of my condo and found that there was something pertaining to an air conditioning process that was supposed to be done, and I know it wasn't done. We pulled the permit, so someone will have to come back out with the inspector from Dade County. They have to rectify that situation. Besides that, my interactions with the reps have been good in general.

    My experience with All Year Cooling was good. The guy that came by, Joe, was very attentive, knew how to answer all my questions. Gave me a better price than anybody else in the area that I had already talked to. They came in within the next day. They were already there installing and I had the AC up and running the next day.     All Year Cooling and Heating came out quickly and gave me a free estimate really fast. I had called various companies and there was some confusion. Somebody got mixed up and another one of their guy came again the next day. That was on a Saturday. As we were talking, he said they could come in on Monday. I told him I couldn't on Monday because I work during the week. He said they could install it Sunday, which was a plus for me. They also answered all my questions. The two people that came to install did a good job. It took them about 5 hours. They had to go back to the office because they wanted to pick something else up. It was a cement slab. My old air conditioner was a little bit smaller and they needed something for that. They were polite and I was satisfied. I'd recommend All Year Cooling and Heating to somebody else.

    My AC is old and something was wrong with it. I kept topping it up with Freon and it would work for a month, then it starts freezing up again. I have a friend who got her AC done here by All Year and she recommended me. They were very nice when I called them about the AC and their guy, James, came out here. He looked at my AC, checked what the problem was and told me what I needed. From there, we went on into purchasing an AC and the installation was very good. So far, everything is working. The AC is running and it's cooling.

    I'm satisfied. The only thing that is getting me very upset and will make me give All Year Cooling a bad review is I can't get my receipt. I gave them a deposit of $1,000 and told them they didn't have to send me a receipt on the phone. People lose their phones and they can't get it back. I asked them to send me a hard copy of the receipt through the mail, but it's been three weeks, and I still can't get a hard copy. I keep calling them and they keep promising to mail it to me. I need a receipt for it and if I have to go to the office, I'll have to go down there and get it.

    I have already emailed manager a week ago, they have not addressed the issues, I'm still waiting. I'm emailing regarding a new York AC installation that started on October 28th. I've been an All Year customer for many years and chose your company to install a new AC because I've had consistently good experiences with your company in the past. Therefore, I was shocked at how disastrous our installation went, not only in terms of the poor workmanship, but also the lack of professionalism with which I was treated by the installers. The installers were rude and made it very uncomfortable for me to ask questions. I asked about the plenum because it didn't look right to me, but the installer only got irritated saying "I'm going to glue it all back together" and "what do you want me to do?" Whenever I attempted to ask a question, I was met with annoyance and repeatedly told to "trust them."

    Once they completed the installation, I asked them about the thermostat and why our old zoning thermostat was still running. The response was "it's working" and "don't worry about the old machines." Not only were they unprofessional with their interactions with me, but they spent the entire job socializing on their phone which included inviting people to my property to hangout without my knowledge. When 2 additional men showed up, I asked if they worked for All Year to which they said "no, they are my brothers." They then proceeded to chat and socialize on my property and at one point even asked me to bring them bottled water. When I told them I only had room temperature, they responded "put it in the fridge!" These installers were not focused on their work and I cannot imagine any business allowing such poor behavior and manners. The experience was beyond unreasonable.

    After they left, it was obvious that the AC was not working correctly. The AC and thermostat were not communicating at all and the AC ran continuously getting colder and colder despite already meeting the set temperature. We called All Year, who then sent a technician over to evaluate. Even he was shocked at what had happened and commented that it was obvious that the installers should have been more careful with the installation. The state of how the AC was installed was so poor that he said we needed a specialist technician, an electrician, and a ductwork technician to come. It ended up taking the technicians nearly all day to undo some of the problems the installers had caused.

    The lead technician stated that our wires were left a mess, the variable speed had not been set (the installers incorrectly told us it was automatic) and not matching the speed of the electric board, that he had to open dampers, and rewire the compressor. The lead technician was obviously very knowledgeable and hardworking, but you could tell that he was frustrated at how much work it was to fix the installers' mess. After 6 hours of work, he discovered that our plenum was no good which was something we had addressed to the installers, but were ignored. The technician explained that the installers should not have reused the old plenum, that it should've been replaced and communicated both to us and the office. We then had to schedule another technician to come to do the plenum which took another 4 hours of work.

    Once the material had set and we had a chance to try the new AC, there were still issues with noise, and the AC not running efficiently. We had a technician come who determined we needed a specialist and a ductwork technician to come out again to resolve the last matters. They spent all day finishing the last issues including removing more dampers. Every technician who has been to our home to see the condition of the AC and how we were treated was shocked that we had gone through such an experience of such incompetency and unprofessionalism.

    This entire ordeal started from October 28th and finished November 12th. It's unreasonable for a brand-new AC installation to consume 2 stressful weeks where I had to reschedule my life and work in order to accommodate repairs that shouldn't have been necessary if it had been installed correctly in the first place. All Year advertises same day installation and I expected to receive same day installation, not 2-week installation. Although the 5 workers who helped fix the errors of the installers were good and professional, apologies are insufficient for the headache that we went through nor does it resolve the standard we expected from All Year. I am not satisfied with the grief this has caused and expect All Year to compensate for the nightmare that should have been a simple installation.

    My AC was going out and it was in the middle of Summer. I have a toddler and my elderly mom so I absolutely could not risk waiting to get my AC done.     Omar & Robby were very professional, they arrived quickly upon learning that we had no use of either restroom. BUT A roof leak and 3 FAILED INSPECTIONS later....This has been the worst AC installation service I have ever experienced in life. I have never had a company riddled with issue after issue. Here is a summary of what I have experienced: 11/13/2023: First day of scheduled installation: The roofer was not scheduled as promised and the new AC unit arrived damaged and dented. As a result, All Year Cooling had to reschedule my installation. 11/17/2023: AC installed. 11/20/2023: All Year Cooling billing department called me to ask me for my balance due when I have already paid in full. Error on the office. 1/16/2024: Failed City inspection. The AC was not installed to code. Not at the right height, electrical code faults etc. Is there not an Engineer who verifies that the installation is built to city code? Ridiculous!

    1/19/2024: Discovered that the roof was leaking in the garage over our hot water heater attributed to the installation. 1/25/2024: I called All Year Cooling to inform them of the leak and requested that they sent back the roofer. The next day, 1/26/2024, they sent an All Year AC Tech instead of the roofer who stated we need the roofer to come back to fix it, he can't help! 1/29/2024: The Carpenter was sent by All Year without informing us that he was coming to patch it and no one was home but the workers called us to ask how was the service later that day without previously informing us that we should expect the roofer. 2/2/2024: The roofer showed up again unannounced. Said he hadn't heard what day the installation was rescheduled for the re-installation.

    2/5/2024: AC installation team showed up knowing the weather was rainy and the installation manager had been informed by the roofer prior to arriving and they opened up the AC system on the roof and it started pouring immediately. They had to close it back up and reschedule. 2/8/2024: The reinstallation took place.2/15/2024: Esther called me to schedule inspection for 3/18 /2024 which would have been after the permit expired! I had to ask her when does the permit expire? She said "Oh, we will schedule you for 2/22/2024 then". 2/22/2024: SECOND FAILED CITY INSPECTION. The AC tech was not present for the arrival of the inspector! When I asked Tania, why? She informed me that All of the AC techs had a meeting so their meeting was more important than being present for the inspection.

    2/26/2024: 3rd FAILED INSPECTION! I was hoping that this would be a seamless inspection for my elderly mother's home and it has been an absolute nightmare. Lack of quality control and lack of quality assurance. Every time I had previously asked to speak to a Manager, I was given numerous excuses. Throughout all of this, I have had to take time out of my busy work schedule to be on the phone with All Year Cooling practically EVERYDAY dealing with this circus. I deserve a credit/partial refund that is commensurate for the unnecessary stress and issues that I have had to deal with during the past three months! Matthew **, the Carpenter/Roofer was excellent. He did his best to remedy the leak caused by the first installation team. I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy. I'm really wondering if the other Google reviews are paid reviews because this has been an unacceptable experience dealing with their permitting, installation and billing departments.

    After 5 long months of recovering from a heart attack, quadruple bypass surgery, and a stroke, my husband finally came home. We were not expecting to have a broken AC as a part of his welcoming home. After multiple calls to different companies and multiple quotes on a new unit, one in particular stood out. After researching the reviews, we felt that All Year Cooling was the safe option. They seemed professional, accurate, cost effective and best of all offered next day services.

    The new unit was placed April 1st, but since then we have had nothing but problems with it. It will work one day and not the next. We had a technician called out a couple of times and it would work! And then it wouldn’t. We thought it might be the thermostat, which unfortunately in this case it wasn’t. Today is April 8th.. Our temperature last night was at 79 degrees and today it is at 80 degrees. The unit is completely dead, no noise, no signs of it working or responding. We had the same problem 2 days ago. I am disheartened. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran with PTSD. He is 76 years old. He is at the end of his rope with this heat. Anyone out there looking to replace their unit: please look elsewhere. This company has faulty units and it is not worth the struggle they put you through. Don’t be misled by the reviews.

    We called them when we noticed our refrigerant level was low. Good thing we did! We were going to just add more. We learned that a low level most likely indicated a leak and we could have been looking at potential over-heating. Sure enough a leak was discovered and repaired. I’ll add it was accomplished that same day.

    I was first referred to All Year Cooling back in November of 2021 by a friend of mine and after checking them out I was impressed by their long history and areas of service coverage and customer testimonials and was especially impressed by their mission statement on their website which reads “Customer service is our #1 priority. Our mission is to give the best price and service. As a family owned and operated business, when you choose us for your AC needs you aren’t just hiring a company, you’re joining the All-Year AC family”.

    I also read Mr. Tommy Smith, President of All Year Cooling’s Bio with his beautiful family picture and his personal phone number for just in case situations and decided to give this company a try for a brand-new A/C. The service was fast and almost satisfactory until about 5 months ago I received a letter from the City of Coral Springs saying something about an expired permit. I called the City to inquire and they told me the permit was for the A/C unit install which was never closed and had expired without inspection and to reapply, it would cost $500.00. I was then advised to call All Year Cooling. I reached out to the company’s Permit department and the young lady assured me that they it will be taken care of soon.

    A month went by and no inspection, so I called back the company again and spoke with another young lady named Casey who told me that there was no record of my call but assured me again that she will arrange for the inspection and will be taken care of it soon. Another 6 week went by and NO inspection was scheduled and I was getting nervous, then I remembered Mr. Smith said “In order to provide first in class customer service, he has made himself reachable at any time of day”. So, I called the number provided which incidentally has been taken off and a young woman answered and of course Mr. Smith was not available. I told her my concern and issue and she told me that she will tell Mr. Smith and will take care of it.

    Here we are another 6 week or more and still no response from Mr. Smith the president of the company who claims he focus on quick response times, he provides honest, ethical, and reliable service to every one of his customers. What happened with your mission statement Mr. Smith? What happened to your 100% Satisfaction Guarantees Mr. Smith? What is so ethical and honest about your business Mr. Smith? Now I must pay for a job that you were paid to do and neglected to do so Mr. Smith? Really Mr. Smith, WHAT'S UP WITH THAT???

    I purchased a Halo LED Whole Home Air Purification system from All Year. I was told I had mold in my air conditioner. I did not have any mold. I was charged $1400 then reduced to $1000 and then $800 when I found out this unit is sold on Amazon for $500. I feel I was told I had mold to get me scared and then they hit me with the overprice. It took the tech 12 minutes to install. I assure you this item does nothing if it is installed at all. It goes in your attic so you do not have any way to monitor it unless you go into your attic. Be careful and get a second opinion if you are told you have mold,. You probably do not have mold. Again this item does not work so any price you pay will be too much!

    Updated on 04/09/2021: I wrote a negative review on April 5th. Three days later the company contacted me to arrange for a technician to return to my home. The tech (Greg) fixed the problem and was a great representative for the company. I revised my star rating upwards to 4 stars because of his abilities and diligence. I will always ask for Greg if I have a problem in the future.

    Original Review: I purchased a central air conditioning unit from All Year Cooling in 2015. On March 29th, 2021 the unit stopped cooling. I contacted All Year to make an appointment for a service call. They told me there was no charge for the technician to come out and diagnose the problem and sent a man out that afternoon. The fellow checked my unit and determined that it was a major repair. I told him that I needed to get a second opinion for a repair that was going to be really expensive and that the unit was only 6 years old!! He told me that since I wasn't going to agree to have them do the repair then he wasn't going to give me an estimate. I told him I need to find out if the second opinion is the same as what he was telling me before I could commit. He just repeated himself and he left.

    The company called me two days later and asked if I would like a Senior Technician to come out and see what the problem was. I said yes, and they sent out another guy later that day. He examined my unit and told me what was wrong with it (a very expensive repair) but said they needed to send a service technician out to test for leaks (something this senior technician couldn't do) and he would have the office (Lauren) contact me that evening or the next day to set up the appointment. I never heard from her. That evening or the next day.

    I contacted their offices the next afternoon and was told "Lauren" was in a meeting and would have to call me back. She didn't. I called again near closing time and was told Lauren went home and that another manager would return my call. No one called me. I have had no more communication with anyone at All Year Cooling. I purchased a $3000 central air conditioning unit from them 6 years ago with a 5-year extended warranty. An air conditioning system should last longer than 6 years. And for them to ignore a previous customer is inexcusable.

    On August 22, 2020. All Year Cooling installed a new Air Conditioning Compressor and Handler 2 Ton 15 seer Ruud system. The piping leaked from the onset due to incompetency of the installer not sealing the joints the coils leaked onto the filter causing me to change the filters several times a day. The first technician said this was normal and left. The second technician said the joints were not sealed, and sealed them. He then said he addressed the leaking coils and said the leak all is fixed. The third technician said it needed a new part so as not to leak.

    In addition, the installer did not put in the correct drain pipe confirmed by Greg the fourth technician. The technician noted that the piping was not installed correctly but did nothing. The fifth technician came to install a tray however this did not stop the leak from the coils it now leaks onto the metal. When he said, he was finished I reminded him about the piping. He said he was not aware that he had to correct the piping and left.

    I did not expect to spend 2 month of technicians coming to repair a handler that was supposed to be new and working. The coils are still leaking onto the metal tray now and the piping is not correct. I have to wipe out the tray daily. This is not acceptable. My last communication with this company via email was to notify the Manufacturer and install a new handler what I paid for not one that is defective. You ignored the message. The Handler has been leaking since installation with several repairs made none of which corrected the problem. Your company installed a defective handler and I will not accept anything less than a new handler installed by a competent technician. This has been a very stressful experience to say the least. As of today, I will seek further action.

    Reading the most recent reviews, it seems that I am not alone with my terrible customer experience regarding this company. It is said that only 1-out-4 disgruntled clients will actually take the time to write a review. That means that there are a lot more unhappy clients out there than what you are reading here. This has been my HORRIBLE experience with All Year Cooling in 2019...

    July 30, 2019. I ordered a 3.5 ton Trane Heat Pump from this company. The cost was $5,200 and was supposed to include a: 1. Thermostat and; 2. 10kW Heat Strip [PRE-INSTALLED in the unit]. August 30, 2019. 30-days later the Heat Pump was finally delivered to my house [they quoted me 2-weeks]. August 31, 2019. Whilst unboxing the Heat Pump, we noticed there was no thermostat so we contacted All Year Direct & requested a statement credit. September 17, 2019. They finally credited my Credit Card $100 for the missing thermostat... it cost me $168 to get a new one. September 25, 2019. Finally managed to get a local HVAC technician to come and hook up my new $5,200 Trane heat pump. He noticed that the 10kW heat strip was NOT installed in the unit and offered to install one for $450 to include labor.

    September 27, 2019. I called the company re: the missing heat strip and was told that it would take 2x weeks to deliver to me and they would supply a tracking number. They also told me that it is very simple to install the heat strip. October 01, 2019. Called the company to request an update on the tracking number. Left a message with the call desk. Never received a response. October 14, 2019. Called the company AGAIN to request an update on the tracking number. Left a message with the call desk. Never received a response. October 18, 2019. Called the company a THIRD TIME to request an update on the tracking number for the heat strip. Left a message with the call desk. Never received a response.

    October 21, 2019. Called the company a FOURTH TIME to request an update on the tracking number for the heat strip. Left a message with the call desk. Was told that someone would call me back within 24-hours. Finally received a call from a manager who said a tracking number would be issued. October 23, 2019. Finally received a tracking number for my 10kW Heat Strip. October 30, 2019. Received Heat Strip via UPS… it has now been 3-months since I placed the original order on July 30, 2019. November 01, 2019. The Heat Strip DOES NOT install easily into the unit so I called the company & requested to speak with Tommy Smith, the owner. I want to ask him; “what I am supposed to do to get the heat strip installed into my $5200 Trane heat pump given that it was supposed to have been PRE-INSTALLED by the factory PRIOR TO DELIVERY?"

    To make this situation whole, I am expecting All Year Cooling to cover the cost of labor to have the local HVAC company install the heat strip. In conclusion, I would NOT RECOMMEND this company at all!! When you spend $5,200+ for a product or service, you expect a certain degree of professionalism & customer service. At the very least, you should expect to receive the product you paid for. All Year Cooling will meet NONE of these expectations!! Do yourself a favor… STAY AWAY from All Year Cooling unless you want an endless series of disappointments and months of stress.

    This is a follow up from my review on Oct. 29, 2019. I got a call from the office saying they will send a guy out to check and do the maintenance $0 as promised, when the the guy came back (very nice) he took the AC apart to show me what particular cleaning was needed and also showed me the coil and pan after he cleaned. Granted I know the AC needs cleaning but I still says there should be a contract that will pay for that, instead of a surprise figure sprung on you at one time, in an average household $600 is not easy to just do quickly. I'm very please, the leaking has stopped. I pray next year there a different contract I can buy as I plan to purchase my for service contract. Tommy, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    I bought an Ac from this company. Paid for Maintenance Service for what I thought covered for Maintenance until I had a real maintenance service. I had a leak. When the repair guy came I asked him, "Will I get this same leak every 6 months when it's time for maintenance service?" The worker replied and said most likely because the line is clogged up. So he blew the line and did whatever he do and left.

    I notice my leak continued, I called back, they sent another guy to look at the unit he tells me the coils needed cleaning and the "T" trap is clogged. Ok I'm thinking this is maintenance so I asked, "Do I have to call in for another service call?" He replies yes, but continue to tell me it will be extra charges. When I called I Found out ($595) for the services, So now I'm not very happy. I tell the guy, "No. I pay for maintenance service every 6 months." He continues to tell me the maintenance I need is not part of the service contract. Isn't that some **!! Make a service contract that covers ALL maintenance.

    We needed new air conditioning. Being from the North, we knew nothing about them. We got three quotes, and lots of advice. We chose All Year Cooling, and hoped they would be as good as they seemed, because we had been told that the units are not complicated but the installation is key to a good outcome. The installers were first rate. They worked until the job was perfect, staying in our home until it was dark out, and they had to pull out their flashlights. They were gentlemen. All of them, including the office staff. I find zero reason not to recommend them. Highly recommend them.

    I'm living in South Florida, and my air conditioning unit broke on a three-day holiday weekend. I was online at 11:30 Sunday night looking for air conditioning companies. It was very hard to get in touch with a company, but All Year was there to respond. They were online 24/7 and they have a chat system. I threw a question out and someone responded immediately.     I’m very happy with All Year's price and I was happy with the installation. I then called for two reasons. Number one, because they screwed up the financing and somebody called me back and told me somebody else would call me back, and nobody ever did. So, I’m stuck because I had to accept the financing that they put me under, which is not the one I chose. The other thing is, I called to schedule an inspection by Martin County and nobody ever bothered calling me back about that either. That was a disappointment because this should be inspected since permits had to be pooled for it. I have no idea what the status of that is. Plus the AC seems to be making a little bit more noise than it should.

    When I had these problems, I called Anthony who’s the sales guy on the job. When I initially signed up for the financing, I pointed out that I was signing the wrong thing, and he assured me that we would get it right but we didn't. I then spoke to him and he said I had to speak to someone in the accounting or financing department. A young lady called me back and I explained to her the situation, and she said Anthony would be calling me but I never heard from him. Also, in the past I’ve had trouble with All Year in inspections. I used to own a house in Wellington and they put two units in the house in one year, and they never had the inspection finalized. Nonetheless, generally I’m happy with All Year. The install crews come on time and their jobs are done well for the most part. I know that if I call them, these problems can be taken care of.

    I've been a customer of All Year Cooling & Heating for a year now. They put the unit in in February 2018 and so far, it's been better than excellent with them. Initially, I called people in to give me quotes and theirs was the best quote. It was about $900 less than all the other ones. But I was worried that because their quote was the best, I wouldn't get serviced.

    But then three days ago, I needed them for service. My own thermostat broke (not the one they gave me) and a guy came to the house right away. I bought a new thermostat and he put it in. Then, I called them up and asked how much do I owe them. I was told nothing. So, the service was fantastic and there were big savings with them. Going with them has no downsides at all.     I was searching the internet for prices because the air conditioner that I had was 11 years old and had started to make some funny noises. Down in Florida, the life expectancy of air conditioner is around 10 years. I saw All Year Cooling through a website that they advertised in. I did a background check and found out that it was good so I called them and their price was the best price, so I used them. I was glad I did because everybody I've had contact with were very courteous and professional.

    The installation crew was very professional also. The installation was more work than they anticipated because the salesman that came out didn't emphasize that the air conditioner is in a closet, and the previous one was installed too high so they had to move my tankless heater down lower so they can install it in the proper position. They wound up being here until 10:30 at night. It was kind of a long day for those air guys. All Year Cooling's unit is more efficient than the one that was in there. It cools off a bit quicker than the old one so it's gonna save me money.

    We were building a home and wanted to install central air and heat. An associate at work told me about a company called All Year Cooling. She had used them in the past and they did an excellent job. I called this company and a skill contractor met us at our new home site and gave us a reasonable estimate. Luckily for us we moved in during the summer so we were able to test our new, air conditioner and it worked perfectly. Our home never felt so comfortable.     Our aircon blew out and at first, I had Air Around the Clock on. But they said I needed I new one and they were not gonna get me financed. At that time, I knew my current credit situation. I googled a particular model and went to All Year Cooling. The lady I met there, Janet, was very professional but very nice, sweet and knowledgeable. She put the information in plain English for people and I knew exactly what she was talking about. They financed me personally through the company. I put a down-payment and then three steady payments after that, which was a piece of cake.

    One time, I had a problem with the unit and they came out. One of the motors went bad in the inside unit and they took the motor out, exchanged it and came back to put it in. It worked beautifully. When the aircon didn't seem to be cooling as it used to, a guy came out and checked it all out. He said that it probably just needed to be cleaned really good. He got the unit right for a week and it seemed to start cooling better again. But the next thing I knew, it was 90 degrees out and it was 85 degrees in the house. And it was running for 24 hours. It would be 78 when I get up in the morning and at 5 o'clock, it would still be running but it would be down to only 81 degrees. It was not cooling enough.

    I called them again and they said it sounded like a replacement was needed. I called it in then they came out and replaced the unit. There was no problem. They were totally professional and the people were so nice. The technicians who came out were excellent people. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained what they were gonna do and what they were doing. They were fabulous. In fact, everybody that I've dealt with has been wonderful. When you call All Year Cooling on the phone, the people would talk to you very nicely and they'd work with you. I'm totally satisfied with the company. If you know anybody who needs an air conditioner, call All Year Cooling.

    I am so disappointed with my new Trane AC system. It runs for hours at a time just to cool my apartment a degree or two. It is loud enough to be heard over the TV or in the shower. And the sticker on the unit says to use a 16X20 air filter but that size doesn't fit. All Year Cooling came. Sent a service tech out to look at these complaints. He said that I should buy 16X19 size air filters custom from Amazon. He added some coolant and said that should help but it still runs for hours just to lower the temperature to 78 from 80 degrees. And he said all AC units make noise.

    I know they all make noise. And this isn't that offensive. It isn't a whistle or grinding or anything like that. It is just a loud whirring like a wood chipper or a jet engine. If it only came on for short bursts it might not be that bothersome. But the unit stays on for hours. I will see what happens to my electric bill. But my 28 year old unit would come on for 5, 10, 15 minutes at a time to keep this place at the same temperature this brand new unit takes hours to maintain. I am so unhappy and I don't seem to have any recourse except to let other consumers know of my experience.

Also, if you look at their website, the phone number of the owner is right on there. You call and somebody answers, but still, the fact remains that he exposed himself and that was something that really won me over. Their sales representatives were very good as well. They came over to the house and we talked. There was not really a great deal of pressure and the work was done very fast and very efficiently. All Year Cooling is our go-to air-conditioning company. The reps call me when they notify about the appointment and what time they're gonna be here. All Year knows what they're doing and are professional. Everything looks good, so I keep working with them. They're quick, however, I don't know if they have a lot of work but when I requested the appointment, the day they went out, they changed it different times and passed to the next day. But I was okay with that. I just wish they kept the appointment as we had it.

    I've had my unit from All Year since 2010. My particular system is what they call a package union and it had a plenum. They have the bill outside and they had to be called back to make some adjustments on that, and their supervisor never came after to make sure everything was all right. Recently, I had a repair done and it took four techs before one could get it right. They kept sending one, who then said, "I don't do this." That was bad, but the office manager Christine made up for it. She gave me a nice discount on the repair bill, so I was okay with the inconvenience. She's an asset to the company, the way she handled my situation.

    This is a follow-up review to the one posted yesterday. Tommy **, President of All Year Cooling and Heating, sent 2 emails within one hour of my review being posted, Amanda ** also called and left messages, also within one hour. We called back upon our return and an appointment was made for Monday morning for repairs to be made, at no charge to us, Tommy to take care of the labor costs as well.

    Cliff arrived at about 11:30, determined the problem to be the fan motor and, as he had brought a new one, installed it and had the A/C unit running by 12:30. Laura (not sure if right name) called at about 12:45 to inquire as to the status of the work. Thanked her for calling and told her Cliff just finished and unit is operating fine.

    Tommy called shortly thereafter to inquire as to whether the repairs had been carried out. I told him Cliff had done a great job in the shortest amount of time possible and that I had informed as such and thanked him as well. Tommy then brought up the topic of the warranty. He said that as the home was in our name when the unit was installed, the warranty should be valid. He inquired as to the name of the firm that had informed us the warranty would not be honored and had charged us for the new coil/evaporator.

    He also asked if I would send him all invoices/documentation I have from this firm so that he can go to the manufacturer of the unit and see if they would reimburse the cost of the parts as labor is not covered. I will collect all information required and forward to him. I wish to thank Tommy personally for his prompt response to our complaint and extend our thanks as well to all of his employees involved who did their best to take care of our problem. In closing, we have to mention that we were pleasantly surprised for a firm to take an almost personal interest in our problem and work to resolve it in the quickest manner possible.

    We had a completely new A/C unit, including all new ductwork and insulation, installed in late 2011/early 2012 by All Year Cooling, with a 10 year warranty. The coil/evaporator began leaking in early 2017 and, after an A/C repair rep added a sealant that didn't stop the leak, was replaced in July 2017. We then found out that the warranty had been put into our contractor's name instead of ours. Our general contractor, Bill Monroy, GEMCO Corp, apparently registered the unit warranty in his name/company name. Our A/C repair rep said that, when he attempted to get the replacement coil/evaporator unit, he was told that the warranty was not valid as it was not registered in our name, even though the address on the warranty is ours, **.

    We had to pay $1250 in July 2017 to have a new coil/evaporator installed, instead of it being covered by the warranty. Our A/C rep told us that our unit was apparently one of a series produced in 2011 that had failed as he has personally changed out at least 5 units with this production year. Over the past 6 months or so, we have noted several times that the A/C unit was not running. Each time we were able to get it to start again by cycling from cool to heat and turning the switch from auto to on and back to auto. We had two different A/C repair firms check out the unit but could not find anything wrong.

    Last evening, July 1st, we came home from a dinner and found out that the A/C unit was again not running. This time nothing worked. When we set it to cool, the fan in the condensing unit outside kicks in but the fan in the air handler won't start working. As today is a Sunday, it is of course difficult (and expensive) to get a repairman over. Regardless, I called an A/C repair firm who, after checking the unit out determined the fan was defective and had to be replaced. Of course, supply stores are not open on Sunday so we will have to put up with another day and night with no A/C. Great, in sunny and hot southern Florida.

    This latest repair will cost a minimum of $600-$800 and, together with the service charges for adding coolant each time it leaked out, bringing my total loss to approx. $2400. What I want to know is, why isn't my warranty valid? It is registered to our address. We paid $9,500 to have a completely new A/C unit, all new ductwork etc., installed but still have had quite a number of issues with the unit which has cost us money, money that we as retirees living on a fixed income, do not have to throw away.

I got two units from them and they did a very good job of installing those but the follow-through has not been the greatest. They were supposed to clean the ducts as part of our contract but nobody ever called to make an appointment. So, I kept calling them trying to get them to at least give me an appointment to come back to do the duct work which I shouldn't have had to do.

    All Year Cooling did work at the house of a good friend of mine and he recommended them to me. I had pleasant interactions with the sales reps that helped me purchase a unit from All Year. The installation of the unit went fine, but the installers could have been a bit more organized. When they came, they didn't have all the parts. I had to take days off and wait in the house and they came three times.

    Then I had certain questions which were very important to me because I have children with asthma. I needed All Year to do air duct cleaning, but they never did and I didn't feel that they addressed the issue.     I initially researched different companies, figured who was in the area and which one was a family business, and then decided by estimates. But this being South Florida, just because they said one thing doesn’t necessarily mean it is so. I’m an old school and if it’s not on paper, it doesn’t exist to me. I definitely did my homework and All Year’s salesperson answered all my questions thoroughly and accurately. And when I called their office, the guy I spoke knew my family name and my brother through growing up in East Hollywood, so the company was a family business.

    I had the installation done eight years ago. The technician came out when they said he was gonna come out and did what they said he was gonna do. In fact, I also had an air conditioner put in my girlfriend's home because it was ready to die and my neighbor also installed a unit because of my referral. I like to learn what the techs are doing and how they're doing it, just for learning experience and not being on the guy’s back but to raise any questions that I may have. And the tech was very polite and professional. Three months ago, my AC needed a repair and the same technician came out.

    It was a holiday weekend so I figured I didn’t wanna be without air all weekend long. I initially thought there was no way a technician was gonna come out and not charge me an arm and a leg. I was still hesitant because you don’t know when a company is trying to take advantage of you. A friend of my friend is an AC guy so I figured I would get this guy out here and he would be honest with me. But unfortunately, or fortunately, he couldn’t make it because he was in New Jersey. So I went through my paperwork and found out that I had ended up getting the 10-year extended warranty, which I normally don’t do and which All Year no longer offers.

    I called them and their office helped me in scheduling the appointment. They called me back to say that they could get out here a little bit earlier and ask if that was good for me. I said, “Absolutely. Get out here quicker.” The gentleman came out that evening and through striking up a conversation, I realized that he was the one who had put the unit in eight years ago. He looked at the unit and at first he told me the issue was the circuit breaker. I told him that my brother was an electric contractor and I could do that. He said that it was under warranty and, since he was there, to let him do it. He did that then we came upon two other problems.

    He said that I was gonna need a fan but I thought that fans didn't go out just like that. He checked it and he said that aside from the fan, I was gonna need an LED unit which was the brain to get the fan engaged because it was a two-staged fan. I asked him to show me what was and what wasn’t working and why. He hotwired the fan up to show me that it was kicking on and cutting off. I believed I just needed the brain to engage the fan but I trusted him enough.

    Then he pointed out that it was an older unit and that they didn’t have anything in stock for it. The part was gonna have to be ordered out and he said that although the unit was under warranty, those parts were universal and the supplier was gonna charge them to program it to my unit in particular. It was gonna be $80 out of my pocket. Realistically, I knew the supplier was taking what he can as opposed to a flat fee, but $80 was a lot better than what the cost may have been. In fact, out of curiosity, I asked how much all that would have been if I didn’t have the extended warranty and he said it would be about $1200.

    He said that he would order the part and that it would arrive two days later, because of the holiday. A representative also called me up and told me they got the order and that they were gonna try to expedite it. Then the guy came back and put the part in. As I was signing off everything, I asked where it shows the $80 and he said that they weren’t gonna charge me the amount after all. I really appreciated that but I also had to ask him to show me where the balance due is zero and he did.

    He left and I went in the house then I realized I didn't even tip the guy. His truck was leaving the street so I called the office and asked them to call him back. I told them he had left one of his tools. I had some money in my left pocket so I threw forty dollars in my other pocket. When he pulled up, he asked what he had left and I told him that he actually hadn’t left anything. It was what I didn’t do and I apologized. I handed him the money, which he cupped on his steering wheel and then he started driving off.

    Then I looked at my pocket to see how much money I got left over for the next couple of days and I had $40. I had given him money from the wrong pocket. Fortunately, he was at the stop sign so I ran 20 feet up to him and banged on the window. He said, “What? What’s the matter?” I asked if he had seen what i had given him and he said not yet. I asked him to shut his eyes and to hand it to me. He did and I gave him the $40. He asked what that was all about and I told him that I had given him a 140-dollar tip. I asked him not to take it personally but I could not go short on $140. He smiled and said, “I gotta come here more often.”

    All in all, the tech was phenomenal. On the flip side, my neighbor didn’t have a good experience with All Year and through talking to other people weeks later, I had other individuals saying that they would never go with that company. But people expect different things from different people. As for me, I can’t say enough good about All Year.

    My realtor referred me to All Year Cooling when I first relocated here and all of their representatives were great. The air conditioner unit on the house was from 1995 and it was really old. I thought it was working 'cause some air was coming out. I spoke with Anthony, who was the main rep, and he communicated effectively the whole time. I initially reached out to him just trying to get a quote before I even got the place, and he told me to let him know whenever I'm ready. And when I finally got the place, I told him about it and I asked him as to when can we get it done. Then he had a person out, Ray, to take a look at it. Ray told me that I'd be better off getting a whole new air conditioning unit rather than trying to repair it.

    He said that it was not even worth touching and told me that there wasn't even air coming out on some of the vents. Anthony had a new unit and the guy in there the next day. Everybody was really knowledgeable and efficient. They did it in a couple of hours, and it was very thorough, so I was very happy. I've had the new unit since the beginning of May, and the difference was night and day when the unit was changed. The other person I spoke with, Richard, was on the insurance side. He broke down the whole comprehensive insurance for the unit for the 10-years and it was very thorough. Everything was easy to understand and I knew exactly what I was getting myself into.

    We got an estimate from a couple of companies and All Year Cooling did an impressive job. We always use the same people the second time if we were pleased with them the first time. So, when we had our home remodeled, we had All Year clean our vents and they had to get some of the dust out of the place. I told them that I would call them as soon as the remodeling was complete. The remodeling went on an extra week, then I called them, and the crew that they sent came out two days after.

    The All Year guys were very nice and they explained what they were going to do. They also explained what they found or didn’t find. We just had a little bit of plaster in the vents, but they didn’t find any bacteria or molds. They were very fast and neat, and they cleaned up their mess. We were very pleased and impressed with them. We’ve already bought a couple of air conditioners from All Year and we’ll continue doing the same.     All Year Cooling & Heating said that because I recommended somebody, they would give me $100, and it never happened although they have my address. I have a friend who recommended me to All Year Cooling & Heating and then I called and talked to Anthony. We went about it and I was happy and told them that I would go for it. I went for it and then I recommended somebody. That somebody went for it and they installed two weeks ago. I also have a couple of people lined up, however, All Year is not responding. Another thing is that when they went to inspect the units, they found that the paper they had didn’t match with the seals in the AC so I took a picture and sent it to Anthony from All Year Cooling & Heating, but then, I don’t know what happened after that. Other than that, everything is fine. I have their unit for three weeks now. I hope they respond to what they offered and if they do, I’d be recommending them to people.

    All Year Cooling and Heating was willing to work with me. They gave me incentives to come on with them and weren't pushy. I like the initial sales guy that came out and the next one that I talked to on the phone. I was able to negotiate the price down to the matter of $200. I told the rep that I'll pay $3,000 and then the other $3,000 in cash, which was initially $3,200. He then said, "Whoa, you just tricked me", but, he was okay with it. He didn't seem money hungry and they were really willing to give me the best service possible. They referenced a lot the family business and the aim was important to hold up the family name. Also, their installers were all very nice, polite, courteous, and on time. When my AC was vibrating, I told them that and they came to look at it.     Eight years ago, All Year Cooling & Heating installed my supposedly Top of the line, brand new, complete Trane AC system and clean air effects purification system in my home. Since that time, and during the first 5 years, my AC system has broken down at least a dozen times, blowing multiple capacitors, multiple hard starts, several condenser switches, an outside fan motor, one circuit board, two IFD charger panels, one filter/dryer, and the compressor. So, to say my top of the line Trane AC system is a lemon would be fair. My house has a split AC system, with the other side being a now 22 year old Janitrol (Goodman), which in the last 22 years, has required one capacitor, and three freon charges to top off the freon, which I was told was low. Nothing, not a single other part on the low-end unit has ever been replaced.

    Now, my Trane supposedly has a 10 year warranty on parts, but every time I call All Year, they say I don't have a warranty and/or that it is expired. I reference my contract, and again, send them a photo, in which they say that even though the contract says I have a 10 year warranty, I failed to register my unit with Trane, and so, I have no warranty. My unit was registered immediately after it was installed. I contacted Trane, who verified that my info is in their system. Now, my contract says I have a 2 year parts and labor, 10 year compressor (with manufacturer Trane), and a 10 year on parts only from All Year. They say that the 10 year parts is no longer applicable. What they base this on, I have no idea. I can only believe that they are hoping I won't push the issue, and simply agree, and pay them full price to fix my AC.

    Anyway, first, I was told that I only had 5 years, and not ten, on the parts. So I had to send them a copy of my contract, yet again. After that, I was told the warranty was no good as I failed to register the unit. I then told them that it was registered, only to get a reply calling me a liar, where they said my unit was not registered. I asked if they were being reimbursed by Trane for parts other than the compressor, and I was told no, that they were responsible for the 10 year parts warranty, and are not be reimbursed by Trane, to which I asked, why does the unit have to be registered if Trane is not paying for the parts and this portion of the warranty is from All Year only? This question went ignored, and they simply repeated the statement that I have no warranty, which I can only assume they are basing this on the fact they simply don't want to cover their end of the bargain.

    I argued that ONE... I registered the unit, and TWO, even if I did not, the contract says NOTHING about registration being a requirement in order for the warranty apply. I was told that my contract supposedly CLEARLY stated on the back side of the contract that registration MUST be done in order for the warranty to apply.

    Upon looking and reading the back of my contract it says NOTHING about registration at all. Not a single word. The warranty is clearly stated, with no asterisks or any language stating registration as a requirement. And again, why does registration with Trane a requirement for a warranty that is solely between me and All Year? Trane has NOTHING to do with this part of the warranty. They are not involved in paying for any portion of the parts, nor are they even required to be there. When I went over this contract with the salesman from All Year, he specifically stated that this 10 year parts only warranty was from All Year, and not from Trane, and how All Year stands behind its warranties, and are there for you when you need them and so on.

    Anyway, they finally come out, and say I need a fan motor as mine is bad. Now, I am NOT an AC contractor, but I am a retired state licensed building contractor, who knows his way around electricity and even used to work for an AC company many many years ago. I know how to diagnose an AC unit as well as diagnosing electrical issues. Furthermore, I am well schooled in how motors work, and when I tested the motor it showed as good. The bearings were fine, the motor was not locked up, and the continuity was fine, and when I put electric directly to the motor, it spun, no problems.

    So, the problem was not the fan motor, but instead, no electric being sent to it. When I traced the problem, I came to the conclusion that the problem was the circuit board. Now, normally, I would fix this myself, but I still have a warranty in effect and would rather use that, than go thru all the issues of fixing my AC myself. So I call All Year to have them fix my AC under my warranty. I had no idea what I was about to encounter.

    When the tech first came out, and without pulling out any gauges or electrical meters, or doing anything other than taking the panel off and spinning the fan cage, he says my entire AC is old and not worth fixing, and wants to give me a quote for a complete new system. Wait...What? I advised him that my unit is supposedly a top of the line Trane, that I paid a lot of money for, and that it is only about 8 years old, and is still under warranty. He sheepishly asked if it was his company that installed it new, and I replied yes. Oops, was the look on his face. He then asked, knowing the answer, if I wanted to fix this issue and use the warranty instead of getting a quote for a new system. I told him, “Yes please”.

    So, when he looks at it, he says I need a fan motor. Again, the tech did NOT break out any gauges or a meter, or do anything else... he simply opened the cover, saw the fan not working, spun it by hand, and said I needed a new fan motor. I questioned him, and told him my findings, but he insisted it was the fan. So, I figured I would simply listen to the "professional". Besides, I have a warranty for all parts, so of course, it will be cheaper to have them fix it... right? NOT!

    The next day, another tech comes out, installed a new fan motor, and charged me $350 for labor only. WHAT? The tech was there less than an hour, borrowed my tools, borrowed my step ladder, and I removed the fan housing for him, as he seemed to have no idea how to do it properly. I watched him for a few moments, removing brackets that were not required for a fan housing removal, until I then grabbed my nut driver and asked him if I could show him a more efficient way to get to the fan motor. I removed the unit myself in less than 5 minutes.

    The tech seemed impressed, and after I set the fan housing on the floor, I let him take it from there. The reason I was able to do this, was that when the unit quit working, I diagnosed the unit myself, and removed the fan housing and motor myself in order to test it. I even removed the squirrel cage from the motor, as I figured I would clean it properly before putting everything back together. This had the effect of when the tech removed the fan, everything just slid apart easily, and nothing was "stuck" or difficult to remove, and was quite easy in removing the squirrel cage from the motor, which I know can be an issue on fans with some time on them. So, when the tech repeated what I did the day before, it was not difficult or time consuming for him.

    Anyway, when he was done, of course, surprise, just as I predicted, the AC still did not work. I again offered up the circuit board as the reason I had come to, and the tech finally agreed with me, and said that he did not have the part, and that someone from All Year would contact me the next business day, to schedule someone to come back out to fix my unit properly. When he packed up my original fan motor, I asked him to please leave it, as I wanted to keep my old parts. I was told that he HAD to take it and he refused to allow me to keep it. I wanted that motor, as I knew it was still a good motor, but he refused.

    Anyway, the next business day, no one from All Year called as promised. I called All Year three times that day, and left messages on a voice mail, and talked to someone as well, and was told someone would call me back by end of day. No one called back. I called the next business day, and again had to leave messages. Finally, at the end of that day, someone from All Year finally called me back. And would you believe it, the whole "THERE IS NO WARRANTY" became an issue all over again. I thought this was all but settled, but nope. I went thru an entire repeat of the previous arguments of my warranty was only for 5 years, I didn't register my unit, my contract says I have to register, and so on.

    After some time of back and forth, and once that is supposedly resolved again, I am told that they will replace my circuit board. For the labor only price of $300. WTH? Now, I looked up the cost of a new circuit board (Part # C800796P01) and was quoted prices from $49 to $69 for a BRAND NEW one. Used ones go for about $20 - $30. And that price is for an end consumer... not an AC company in the business, who should be able to buy it for even less than I can. And as for swapping it out, it took me less than 10 minutes to remove it and put it back, as it is held on my simple plastic clips and a harness plug. It literally just pulls off and presses back on. So easy a caveman could swap one out in minutes.

    I would have thought that the labor charge I already paid in the amount of $350, would have applied to this, and just by the sheer embarrassment of getting it wrong the first try, taking four days to come back out, not calling me when promised, or promptly returning my multiple phone messages, All Year would have replaced the circuit board at no extra cost to me.

    After all, I was charged $350 for labor only for changing out a part I did not need, and did not fix my unit. I suffered 4 additional days because All Year failed to listen to the customer or diagnose my issue properly the first time. I do not believe it is fair at all to change out part after part, without first knowing what is actually needed to fix my AC unit, and continue to charge me over and over again, hoping to eventually get it right. Heck, I could do that myself and save a fortune.

    I called All Year because one, I have a warranty, and two, they are supposed to be professionals and know what they are doing. Seems to me, the warranty means nothing to them, and they have no idea what they are doing. Any idiot can continue changing out parts until they get it right. I called All Year because I didn't want just some idiot. I wanted my unit fixed properly, and fixed right the first time. That is not what I got.

    So, if we review here, All Year Cooling & Heating, now wants to charge me a total of $750 for LABOR ONLY, for repairs to a unit that is still under warranty. They want to charge me this much money for an hours worth of work, just to change my circuit board, and for the labor to replace my fan motor, a part that did not need to be replaced. I can only guess that their warranty is a complete sham, as since they could not convince me that it was NOT in effect, or find some stupid loophole to get out of honoring this warranty, they instead, jack up the price of their labor, and roll the cost of the parts into their super high labor charge, in order to not really cost them anything.

    I contacted several other AC companies, and asked for a quote to replace my circuit board, and gave them the part number of the board. Almost all of them stated that my cost would be the cost of the service charge plus parts. I got quotes over the phone of $89 plus the cost of the part, $150 for parts and labor, and $39 plus the part, which included a complete inspection and cleaning as well, since they were running a special. Mind you, these are AC. These are companies that did not make a fortune on me with installing an entire new AC system with only a few years earlier. These were all companies that I have NO WARRANTY with, and just cold called. The company that I supposedly have a warranty with, is by leaps and bounds, the most expensive. All Year thinks $750 for labor only for swapping out two parts that take less than a single hour total, is completely fair. Am I wrong in thinking I am being taken advantage of here?

    And, for the record, as I stated above, my unit, my 8 year old, top of the line, most expensive Trane unit that I bought from All Year, brand new. This AC system has been plagued by problems since the day it was installed by All Year. It broke down multiple times. When my compressor blew up, I found out, after contacting Trane, and bringing in another AC company, that the reason my unit was blowing capacitors every 2-3 months, and required a hard start, and eventually blowing up the compressor in its 4th year, was due to improper installation. What happened was whoever installed the unit, allowed metal filings to get into the copper line, and clog the filter/dryer, which caused the compressor to have to work REALLY hard every time it started up, thus requiring a hard start just to get going. After only 4 years, the compressor couldn't handle it anymore and it blew up.

    And why was this not caught by All Year? When they installed the unit brand new, and I paid them in full, and they left, later that same day, the unit quit working. It blew the capacitor on its very first day of use. A brand new, one-day old unit, installed by All Year... broke. It took them 3 days to get it running again. Then, when they installed the hard start, it finally worked. However, every 2-3 months for the first 2 years of my parts and labor warranty, I would have to call All Year out to fix the unit. And every single time, I would ask why this was happening. I was told they had no idea and to not worry about it, as the warranty covered it, so why should I care.

    I replied by stating that this may be okay for now, but what about when the warranty was up? I was given no answer. And when my 2 year warranty was up, I bought capacitors and hard starts by the case, and every 2-3 months, I would replace them when my unit quit working. This ticked me off, but what could I do? All Year didn't seem to care, and I wasn't about to call another AC repairman to fix a unit that was still brand new and under warranty. I simply lived with it. This problem persisted until the day the compressor blew up. Completely destroyed itself after only 4 years. I knew this was not right, but what could I do. And when it was replaced, (NOT BY ALL YEAR as they wanted over $1,800 to fix it - labor only), is when it was found out that the installation by All Year was improper.

    It was discovered that when All Year installed the unit new, and cut the old lines from the old compressor, metal filings were left in the copper line. This caused the filter/dryer to clog, which put a huge strain on the compressor every single time it started up. So much so, that hard starts were required in order to just get the unit running. And when the compressor was replaced, this issue was discovered, the line was unclogged, the inline filter/dryer was replaced, and I never had to use a hard start ever again, and the unit never blew another capacitor. For the first time, no thanks to All Year, by AC was running properly and not killing itself every time the compressor kicked on.

    Why was this not fixed by All Year? Why, after coming out for the umpteenth time under the first 2 year warranty period, and my questioning over and over again, what was wrong, did ALL YEAR not try to determine the actual issue and fix it? The answer is easy. It was too costly and/or the techs had no care to even bother trying. It was easier and cheaper to simply replace the capacitors and get thru the 2 year warranty and be done with me. After that, it was on my dime, so who cared. And of course, every time I would call in, All Year would send a different tech, so no one ever really bothered to see the pattern here, or get interested in helping fix this once and for all.

    So, here I am. All Year has not called me back. They refuse to acknowledge my 10 year parts warranty at every turn, appear to be charging me incredibly high labor fees to offset the cost of the parts warranty, so that my warranty is really no warranty at all. Am I being taken advantage of here? Is this really seem fair? Is this what is to be expected from an honest AC company? Does it appear to anyone but me that my warranty seems to be no warranty at all? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. As it is now, I no longer feel I can trust All Year Cooling and Heating. They seem more interested in money money and more money than they do in upholding their warranty or actually taking care of their customer. What do you guys think?

    My friend had her air conditioner put in by All Year and she recommended them to me. I had a total replacement of my air conditioner. The rep who I spoke with was wonderful. He didn’t try and sell me anything I didn’t need. He didn’t try and upgrade me to some bigger unit as well. He just explained to me what I needed, and it was comparable to what I had. He was an all-around great guy. He stayed on top of it if I had any problems because initially, I had to have some of my ducts sealed because it was leaking water from the old air conditioner and onto the floor. He was tremendous.

    The installers who came were great, too. They were professional, courteous and kept everything neat and clean. They wiped their feet and kept the door closed. It was indeed a great experience. After the service, I'm not slipping in a puddle of water anymore. It's negligible but I appreciated the wonderful service. Someone also texted me and told me that everything was going to turn out okay because we failed my first inspection from the city. All Year came right back out and fixed everything the city needed to be fixed. If others are looking for a good unit with courteous service and follow-up, they should go to All Year. I'll definitely recommend All Year.

    We've been using All Year Cooling for years and they were amazing. All I can say is great things about them.     Three years ago, our air conditioner went out the day before Christmas Eve. I went to the phonebook and picked All Year Cooling and Heating, and it turned out to be the best thing I’d ever done. They came out on Christmas Eve and installed a new air conditioner. The one we had was 17 years old and we were low on finances at the time. They carried the note for us and no interest for a year. Then they came back out on Christmas Day to check a small leak that came up. We've referred them to eight people in our community because they were so good. The sales reps were very polite, kind, fast, efficient, did a great job and knowledgeable about what they were doing. So, I’ve had no complaints with the whole company.

    My house stays cool all the time and I haven’t had ups and downs with it, so we’ve been pleased with the unit. The owner is very polite. We’re impressed that he points out in some of his brochures that if you aren’t pleased, you call him directly which most owners don’t do. He gives you his number that if you need to talk to the president. They do follow-ups on their work and on their people. If everybody conducted their business like All Year Cooling, we would have a lot of good businesses. The experience was perfect and it couldn’t be better.

    All Year Cooling was a great company. I searched and a lot of companies came to the house but nobody gave me the prices All Year gave me. I got Trane A/Cs with nice high SEERs for under $7000 for two and everybody else was giving me prices at $5000 each. They also had a promotion where if you recommend someone they would give you $100 bucks. That’s a good program they have.

    The service was done very quickly and professionally too. Then when I had a little problem with something, I called them and they would have sent somebody even in a big storm. I told them to send technicians in the morning instead which they did and they took care of the problem. They seemed like they knew what they were doing and were very pleasant and easy to work with. They also have a nice warranty. They gave us two years for parts and labor and they gave 10 years on the air conditioner for the company.

    The person who repaired my AC unit said that All Year Cooling could give me a better price on a new system. He knew they had a good rep. They came here and they gave me the price I wanted on the air conditioning system. They said, "Go, fine. As long as you pay cash, we could do it." The new unit works much better and is more efficient than the 10-to-12-year-old unit. The electricity bill went down a little bit. I've had them come twice a year to maintain and service the unit. Clive, one of their repairmen, as well as their installation team, is very good. I'm very happy with them.

    I was having a whole replacement done, including all the ducts, and the estimate was not ridiculously high and good enough for them to make a reasonable profit. The man who came and did the job was pretty quick and efficient and he did a good job of it. I had dealt with some other people for estimates and I couldn't believe the efforts All Year Cooling went to. Then, the installers showed up at eleven o'clock. Half of the day was gone and I thought there was no way they were going to finish it that day but they loaded up the truck at five o'clock and were gone so I was quite pleased.

    They also stayed true to the estimate, except for the add-on I discussed with the installer and authorized. It was an option for a black light to kill bacteria in the system. It costs almost 100 bucks and I negotiated it with the installer, although the man who gave me the estimate came around in the middle of the day while they were putting the system in. Afterwards, I had an issue that was under warranty and they came and took care of it immediately. Then I've also had them back for a service and I'm very pleased with them. I've already recommended All Year Cooling to friends.

    The price was the most important reason why I used All Year Cooling. The second thing was when I spoke to them on the phone, I enjoyed talking to the person who gave me the quote. He was very knowledgeable and if I had any question and he didn't know the answer, he immediately said, "I don't know the answer. Give me one second," and then came back with an answer. I'm also a general contractor and they did better than what I would have done replacing the unit. Also, when the guy was about done installing the unit, he realized that he didn't bring the free thermostat with him. I told him not to worry and that I already had one which works fine, but within an hour after he left, another AC guy came with a thermostat. He was en route to do another install and he had a thermostat in his truck and dropped it off. Another hour after that, another guy came over and installed it. I was impressed with how professional these guys run the company.

    I don't know how this company is still in business. I spent over 4K for new unit and they have been out 4 times and wasted my time and money because the unit is still under warranty and they refuse to just fix it.

    All Year had much more reasonable in price compared to others and their sales rep was great. He lived up to everything he said he'd do including the warranty. I've had them out once for it and they were here right on time. They also come out every year and check up like they said they would with the maintenance call at no charge. But the installation crew that first came was the worst. They were a bunch of foreigners who couldn't understand what I was saying and they only did what they were gonna do. But All Year rectified everything, sent out another crew and it was done properly. It's all good and this unit is better than the one I had before.

    I had a bad experience with another air conditioning company. My friend had used All Year Cooling and he said they were very good. So I had them replace my air conditioning, and they provided me with a unit and the installation went well. The installers did exactly what they said they were gonna do. I've had the unit for a month now and I'm very happy so far.

    Since my complaint about All Year Cooling and since my husband has been dealing with the owner of the company, All Year Cooling has been excellent in trying to resolve all our issues on the 4 air conditioner units that we had them install for us.

    We are grateful to All Year Cooling to making things right. They have come out many many times to help resolve the different issues. They have been very helpful in making sure things are working well, and they have proven their full support an desire to resolving all the issues that we have encountered. We praise their owner's commitment to his customers satisfaction, and they were even nice enough to upgrade one of our outside condenser units by 1/2 ton, without charging me any additional amount, to try and ensure the proper cooling of the home,

    We think all the issues have been resolved, and we are currently waiting for the building departments permit inspection and approval.

    We are grateful to All Year Cooling in making such a strong commitment to making sure the installation job is done and working correctly and that their customers are happy and satisfied.

    Salesman Joe had us convinced this family run business was fabulous so we got 4 ac units. What a disaster. They never connected duct work. They never replaced the box under the handler. Our old ac worked better than the new one. I had to miss 7 days of work to continually be here to explain the problem. I had to explain return vents were not working. They had the air handler all messed up. Mark kept trying but no one knew what they were doing. I learned more on YouTube and had to teach them. I would not recommend them ever to anyone. I have before and after pictures.
