I am most pleased with my ADT. I feel safe. I have the sign posted on my lawn and on all the windows. The inner voice of the alarm keeps me aware of someone entering when I am at home. I like the system a lot.

I disconnected the landline service from AT&T and a wireless new system had to be installed, and it was very professionally and to my complete satisfaction. Your technician was courteous and knowledgeable and very good at explaining the new system.

Great experience with both the ADT representative and installer. They were on time for their appointments, gave clear and specific information about their products/services, and gave us the service that we asked for. We have used ADT for years and chose to go with them for our new home. They are great and we are having them install a system for our daughter.

The front door alarm battery needed to be changed. This made the front alarm trigger when set. Both myself and husband was at church then work and was unable to check messages on our phones. The police was call to our home however, everything was fine.

We have been very pleased with ADT. Our neighborhood has changed over the years and adding the ADT Home Security system gives us peace of mind while at work or on vacation. We have recommended ADT to several of our friends.

When I signed up for your service, I was to receive a $100 gift card after paying for the service for 12 consecutive months. After the end of my first year, I tried to collect my gift card and was told that it had expired, as my service began in 2016. I have had nothing but the run around from ADT since my request on June 1, 2017. Either I get the gift card or I cancel my service. The ball is now in your court.

ADT is awesome. I've had my service for over a month and no problems so far. What I like about the service is you can use your phone or the remote from anywhere and set the alarm and also they have a guard to ride pass my house and keep an eye out for me since I'm alone.

I have called Darrin ** about this twice. I am still waiting for someone to come and help me with these issues. I need to have one camera turned slightly to cover an area that is not seen on any camera. I need someone to show me how to capture an event so that it is not erased at the end of the month. I need a manual that tells me how to use this system. I was told I would receive a text whenever there was an event. Then I was told I would receive an e-mail. When Nick set up my system, he said he didn't know how to do that. I am unhappy. I need some assistance.

I received a call that there was entry and a broken glass alarm. A friend came to feed the dog and his code wouldn't enter. Security was dispatched and no entry and no broken glass. The next day the tech came to check the keypad and all was fine. The first dispatch caller was rude and curt the second was very helpful and for that I am appreciative.

I am very happy with ADT security Service. They respond immediately; and when necessary take immediate actions to contact police if no answer on phone which has happened when I was outside and forgot my alarm was on. The police showed up to check on me. It was a false alarm as I forgot; but I felt totally safe, secure and protected by my security system from ADT. And I am very happy with all representatives that I have spoken to when the alarm goes off by accident. They are fast and very pleasant to talk to. Keep up the great work!

I'M a home owner and have the ADT service for the last 3 or 4 years. I like it, because with the app you can handle your alarm from anywhere. Don't matter the distance and you can arm or disarm it from your cell. You feel great. If have any issue at your home, they call you immediately. That happened to me. And police and firefighters were at home instantly.

When I bought a home in this area about 3 years ago, it was not my first use of ADT services. I was happy to return to using them because of their responsiveness and the technology available to customers to help them feel secure and safe in their home. They have not failed to deliver as promised.

First, I was very satisfied with the response time to my call for help. First responders and fire dept. came in 15 minutes of my pressing my alert button. Thanks.' However, my complaint is to do with ADT communication with my contact people (2). They were told by a ADT rep that I had been taken to emergency at a local hospital. NOT TRUE!! And First responders NEVER tell ADT such info (I checked). Of course my contacts spent much time trying to track me down at several hospitals. I never left my home. Please ensure that this type of misinformation never happens again. It caused much confusion and time wasting.

Your staff is superb! I now have custody of my three grandchildren ages 4, 3, and 2 years who are very curious about the ADT buttons and my home. They trigger the alarm during late night and early morning tours of my home. I wish that this would work with wifi. I have broadband connection for the web, and that does not work with Pulse. I also have a wired network for computer with wifi connections that I use with the ring doorbell. And It works very well.

4 yrs of service, we have the house for sale on a contract to close soon. I ask for service cancellation and they said it will take 30 days. That is hilarious! They just trying to take more $$$ from consumers. Very disappointed.

ADT has been fair and courteous when responding to issues with the alarm service. I would not go to other company. ADT is our alarm company. Monthly service fees are fair compared to others in our city. Monitoring response is excellent when system goes off. The customer service reps are knowledgeable and quick to verify identity.

JD matched us with the perfect system for our new home and the installation crew went above and beyond to make sure the system worked as intended. Working with ADT was a great experience. We've worked with several system installers throughout our home building process and ADT is by far the best.

Friday, my Pulse app disappeared, I wondered why and several hours later it reappeared as the new app. After logging in and having to go find all my login info all over again I might add, my first impression was that it was not as user friendly to navigate as the old app. On Friday night, my outdoor camera, went offline for the very first time. The next morning it was back online. Monday it went offline again. Then it came back online after I called and asked to have a tech person come out to see why and to explain how the new APP works. The camera came back online before he got here. It seems coincidental that the offline has started when the new app got installed. And, on the new app, the outdoor camera takes longer to come up which it didn't on the old APP. I do not like having to go up to the 3 lines on the left to access the camera recordings when they used to be handier on the front screen. Overall, I hate your new and so call improved Pulse APP.

I needed to replace my battery after it was mailed to me but because of the position of the battery box in my closet and my balances issues I was unable to reach the box to replace the battery. I was concerned and decided to terminate my services. I contacted ADT to terminate services and a technician was dispatched. I felt my concerns were resolved and my home is protected. As a senior citizen with a disability I thank you for your timely effort. The tech and your customer service rep were kind and patient as well as accommodating.

The battery went dead in the system. An ADT technician was there the same day to repair the wiring that had gone bad and was done in 10 minutes. I didn't think I would get same day service. That was a nice surprise.

I called to see if I could lower my bill because I had received an email from USAA that if you were a member you could get ADT monitoring for $26.99 per month. The guy that I spoke with could not get me down to $26.99; however, he got my bill down to $27.99 per month and I was happy with that if he couldn't' give me the other dollar off. I am sorry I can't remember his name but I thought he was very polite and most helpful.

ADT is always on top of the situation. Even when it is a false alarm, they take things seriously and follow protocol. I appreciate their diligence. With kids in the house, it's easy to trip the alarm by accident, but ADT is always kind when handling the situations.

I am a widow. I feel very safe having ADT. With the new Ring System I am able to monitor from whoever I am whoever is at the door. I travel extensively and knowing that I can monitor my home, there is less stress.

Dewey ** was our installer for our new home in Brimfield Illinois. He went above and beyond to meet our installation needs. This is the third time Dewey has done work with ADT on our homes and business. He is professional at all times and knowledgeable about his profession. He is definitely an asset to ADT. He should be in a management role as a preceptor instead of just installing. He sets a perfect example of what ADT should have as an employee.

While I am very happy that I received a call within one minute of my alarm going off, I am a bit concerned that this is the second time that I have received an alarm on my front door (being open) only to return home to find my front door securely closed and locked. Is there some explanation for this? What can be done to prevent this problem from happening again in the future?

Strange alarm sound went off - nothing showed on the screen - alarm was different - not as loud as intruder alarm sound. I turned it off by punching in my security code. No message was present on the screen and no doors or windows were breached, so I telephoned in to see what was happening. Employee told me it sounded like a routine check-up of the integrity of our telephone feedback loop to ADT. This made sense, so I thanked the person.

My son thought a smoke alarm was beeping. Your service man quickly discovered that it was not the smoke alarm but an outdated C02 alarm in the same area. We were out of town at the time and our son handled the call. We thank you for your help in this matter. It could have been a real problem and we were relieved that it was quickly resolved.

We've accidentally set off the alarm twice and ADT responded right away. Someone called and police came out. Feel good about our security alarm. We've had them for several years and have recommended them to others.

I can't recommend ADT enough. They have been so helpful and dependable. We had an issue with our alarm and they sent out a Tech right away and he fixed our problem. They worked with us financially. Not many Companies would have been so helpful and flexible. ADT offers the best protection for my home and I go to bed every night knowing ADT is watching out for my family.

We have been an ADT customer for over 14 years now and have been very happy with our system. The secure feeling we have knowing that ADT is there for us 24/7 has made a big difference in our lives. I usually have alarm issues when I am about to go to bed for some reason and no matter how tired I am the ADT professionals are so helpful that by the time my issue is straightened out I am in a much happier mood just because they take my call seriously and start working on a solution for me very quickly. JUST YESTERDAY, I unlocked door and opened and alarm never went off until I walked in front of motion detector. Sometimes you hit the same code and nothing happens, other times it is overly sensitive. Recently smoke alarm went off and didn't have a clue to shut it off but fire dept showed me... Most of the time it seems to work fine. Mind of its own.

Everything is good, customer service, equipment. Response to alarm is fast. Economical, answer question knowledgeably. I can't complain. I have been nine years now with ADT. Scheduled services are prompt and timely. Modern technology with equipment. Instructions are given completely and professionally.

On Monday, June 12, 2017, while I was away from my home, some unidentified movement was detected in the hallway at my home. An ADT representative called me immediately after the system triggered an alarm. I was unable to leave the location where I was when the system went off. The representative asked verification questions regarding security codes. The representative was intentionally concerned about my well-being. The rep. also informed me that anything, even though small, could have caused the alarm to go off. I appreciate very much the timeliness of response and concern the ADT rep. exhibited in taking care of my concerns.

Every time we have contacted ADT, they have been nothing but nice and professional. Very pleased with their service. Could not imagine not using ADT. ADT is the security provider at both of my homes in Florida. Their team provided me with professional oversight of my needs and then followed through with professional installation technicians. The monitoring that they provide is consistent and works with local law enforcement in all jurisdictions.

We have had ADT for many years and our service has been excellent. Whenever we had a problem or concern our phone calls did not go unanswered. Each representative that came out to service our equipment was very courteous and made good suggestions to better enhance our system. I have recommended ADT to others, including my daughter and son. However they have moved to other areas and changed product.

On April 16, 2017 I purchased the Safewatch Pro 3000EN. Security system and service with these cameras are terrible. When trying to access the view, it comes up as unavailable to view video. I have had this problem since I purchased them and I have spoken to a representative and they will not refund my money so I am stuck with equipment that do not work.

I have been a customer of ADT for many years. They have always been considerate and very professional. No question is too small and their agents are very patient. Upgraded to ADT Pulse. Everything set great. Except lamp downstairs. It will not come on at 8:00 pm and go off in the morning’s time. We contacted you, but still haven't resolve it. Needs to be done. The light will either come on, but won't go off. Or vice versa. Thank you.

So far I am very pleased with ADT system. I went to Texas on a trip and I could monitor my house with the system. I got text messages when some happen, like my daughter forgot the password and I got a text message right away about possible burglary. Was great.

I had Brinks at first until they changed it over to ADT. I called them once because I was thinking about upgrading. I told them that I have been with Brinks for a long time but they couldn’t get me a deal on it so I told them to forget it and I'll keep what I have. I guess they don't consider that I have been a long-time customer because it's up on another company. But other than that, I love ADT. It's great service and they monitor well. Sometimes I might set the alarm and then run outside and forget to cancel it and they’ll send somebody out. Some installation people had come out last year to fix the alarm and the wires on one of our doors. They did a great job and I haven’t had a problem since. They’ve been really good and I recommend them to anybody.

After 14 years, we decided to upgrade our alarm system. ADT did the work installing new keypads, cameras and Ring Doorbell system. Quality products were installed by a highly competent and skilled installer. He also did a great job explaining the system and teaching us how to use it. We are very pleased with our new system. We have been very pleased with the quality of the security system that was installed, the level of support we get from the call center staff and the field support provided when we need some system support. If I forget to set the alarm on "stay" while the dogs are home, I usually get a call from the call center before I leave the driveway. We feel very safe with ADT.

Mark was on time arrived about 10:30 am. My appt. time was between 8 to 11. He was very friendly and took care of my problem efficiently. The battery needed to be replaced. He was very professional. I’ve had ADT for about eighteen years now. So far, everything’s been going okay. I’ve recommended them to my daughter and she had the alarm system. At first, if I had a problem figuring something out, ADT’s customer service representatives would help me out. We also had false alarms a couple of times and they were very nice about it. I have an old system. I don’t like the new ones like what my daughter has, to whom I recommended ADT to. They could now do everything through their phones and that’s too much technology for me. ADT had also screwed up on my billing, but I called them and the girl rep made an adjustment.

Upon calling ADT I talked to customer service about my charges and asked if they could be adjusted to what they were before. The representative checked my long standing record with the company and honored my request. Reliable, intelligent service. ADT offers equipment and monitoring that is needed and tailored to the consumer. Updates and upgrades are available, but there is no pressure to do either. Monitoring rates seem to be on the high side of reasonable, but for the quality of service, they're not out of line. I would not use any other alarm service to protect my homes.

I was appalled to receive a notice of non payment from you for the month of May. I immediately contacted you via email sending you evidence of payments for the latest six months and received no acknowledgement from you. We have had a few small problems with sensors that needed replacing and a couple fall alarms from carelessness coming and going. Also received prompt and courteous service for everything and no hassles. Recommended. Also had a lengthy consultation regarding cameras for the system. Easy to program. Company responds quickly if alarm sounds. Makes sure police need to be dispatched before call is made. Can be as sophisticated as you want to be with system additions. Do not like over-the-phone problem-solving. If I wanted to be an IT geek, I would have gone to Georgia Tech.

I have been using ADT for several years since 2010. I have never experienced any issue with ADT. As a matter of fact, they are always prompt to contact me in the event where I forget to disarm my garage before going in. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes to them, but I appreciate that ADT is always alert and will act if the alarm has not been disarmed within the time allowed. That shows me that they are on the job. Also, I never had any issues with the billing process. It is always accurate. ADT is highly recommended.

We haven't had a burglary or emergency, thank goodness, but we've had two incidents that the alarm went off during a bad storm while we were out of town. Through it all ADT was awesome and helped us navigate the whole weekend calmly.

From the moment I called to schedule my initial appointment, everyone has been courteous and helpful! When they schedule a time for some to come out they give a small time frame like two hours. Not all day to sit around waiting and they've always been on time. The phone techs have been there for me when I needed them and assisted me many time. When we mistakenly set off the alarm, the company immediately called, within minutes, and made sure we were all okay. After explaining the situation, the company was understanding of our mistake. This has happened before and ADT has always had a quick response. I feel safe knowing that if it were truly a real matter of a break-in, ADT will immediately contact me or the police.

My technician Brad has been to my house three times. He is always professional and does a great job. The only issue I've had was that one of the door sensors fell off while I wasn't home. The police were called out and I got my first false alarm report. I don't think that's really fair because I didn't install it and wasn't even there when it happened. It just came unglued.

We find that the system works wonderfully and the few contacts with the monitoring people that we have had by means of the system - such as when the motion sensor set off the alarm after my wife had inadvertently set the "away" function while I was still in the living room. When I got up and moved, the alarm immediately activated which led to the ADT monitors contacting me via the panel speaker - to have been efficient and professional. The only problem is that they need to find a more permanent method of closing the panel cover. The little plastic tabs keep breaking off and we have to tape the face-plate closed. We've had two of the face-plate covers break in the three years we've had the system.

We got ADT security service four years ago after there were some break-ins in the neighborhood. The alarm has gone off several times, but, fortunately, each time was an accident. ADT has always responded immediately with a phone call asking if we were all right and if they should notify the police. On one occasion, when we did not answer the phone, they did call the police who came to check on us. They are also very helpful when we've called to ask about technical issues. We recently upgraded the system slightly and signed another contract.

My key broke off in the door while trying to open the keyless entry. Medical alarm kept contacting ADT. Representative was awesome. Was very happy with his service. The representative made sure the lock worked well and took care of the medical which was working improperly.

I have had ADT for just over two years. This is the first time I have ever had security in any of my homes and it has been a very good experience. If I have an issue I am treated with respect and the issues are taken care of right away. Most of my issues have been with the alarm going off at night when there has been a disruption to the service or when there was an update done. I called and it was fixed immediately.

I've had ADT for seven and a half years with my house alarm system. The monthly rate is reasonable and has not gone up. Without any qualifications, I can say that I have never had ANY problems! I called once for a service call and several times with questions. The people I spoke with were professional, courteous, and informative. The technician who came to my home completed the job promptly and well. I absolutely would recommend ADT to anyone.

Intermittent sound on alarm - The associate that helped me was very helpful and explained everything very clearly... very professional and friendly! It was as easy as just plugging in the home phone line! Every time I have called for assistance, all of the associates have been extremely helpful.

I am satisfied with the security services that ADT provides. I have had issues with the automatic billing payment. Twice, double the monthly payment amount was taken from my bank account, so I stopped the automatic payments. In both instances, my money was credited back to my account. However, this was an inconvenience for me.

When the alarm went off in my home no one was home and the phone calls to the house, the alternate phone numbers went unanswered (I had left my cell phone in the car). On my way home ADT Security reached me on my cell phone to let me know that the door inside the garage had been compromised. I told them that I was on the way home. However, in less than ten minutes from my arrival home a Security Officer arrived at the front door to determine that we were safe. We were. Apparently, I failed to secure the the door in the washroom when we left home. The wind must have been strong enough to eventually go past the garage door to open the inside door. Thank you ADT for your service.

Not too long ago, we had an alarm activate at our house. Since we had just left the house and since I didn't recall the door slamming behind me, I assumed the door had probably blown open just enough to activate the sensor. I told the ADT agent my suspicion and at that time he asked for my verification information to assure he was speaking to the owner of the system. At my request, he cancelled emergency responders. When I got home, the door had indeed not latched completely and had blown open slightly. The only concern I have with this whole process is that the caller ID that came in on my cell did not identify ADT as the caller. Normally, I do not answer unidentified callers due to the onslaught of robocalls wanting to sell me something but I did happen to answer this particular call.

Automated test worked well as far as I can tell. I did receive an automated call telling me that the unit had not reestablished connectivity and suggesting I reset the panel. Although the call indicated that reset instructions were on the panel, I could not find any. On the plus side, however, the automated call did give me the option of talking to a live person if I needed additional help which is great.

My experience with ADT was Awesome, the customer services from the sale manager and installer was excellent. The sale manager was very detail and the installer was on time as scheduled. But, I have not received my Visa Gift Card as the flyer stated.

The customer service is great and the reaction time is awesome. I made a mistake one morning and pressed my panic button but turned it right off but they called me within seconds to make sure that we was okay. The only thing I didn't like is all the stuff you have to go through just to receive your 100 dollar gift card for signing up. I still have not completed that and turned it in.

I changed iPhones and when putting the ADT app on the new phone I discovered I no longer could see the live camera pictures on my new phone. I had expected an upgrade from ADT but instead did not have what I had had earlier. What can I do to recapture the camera images?

We installed ADT when we bought our house in 2009. Their system is top of the line. As the years progressed we had normal issues like power outages and battery maintenance. Their service has been so top notch that we have never thought of shopping around. We plan on being with ADT for the foreseeable future.

The home that is protected by ADT is a second home and since we are not at this home full time we count on ADT to ensure its safety and well being. We have a security camera that enables us to see the signature room of the home when away by using the Pulse App. That gives us peace of mind. Knowing the alarm is on and that we would receive notifications if there was an issue is most reassuring to us. We are pleased with the level of service and commitment of the company.

When one of our children did not get to the alarm right away to disarm it and the alarm went off, ADT called us to check and we verified with our child that it was because of them. The police were called and informed they did not have to investigate the situation, but they did anyway, with no charge. That made my whole family feel better.

When we purchased our system we also purchased a service agreement as we were told by our salesman that, with this there would be no charge for a service call. A few weeks ago, I contact ADT because I sold a property in **. I asked to move the service to a new property. But the person who answered my call, said that I have to sign a new contract and leave the equipment on the old property. ADT connected a new equipment on the new house. I never received the cancellation of the old account. And I called a lot of times. I spent more than 4 hours on the phone and nobody can give me a answer and a solution on that. I do not want to pay for an account that is not mine anymore! And I am not going to pay the cancellation fee because I asked since my first contact to "move" the service to the new property. I need an answer as soon as possible. My lawyer is going to take care of that. Thanks!

We have been with ADT since 1989 and appreciate their services. There should be a better way of dealing with an alarm control situation when we are out of town. They need to use a backup scan using the motion detector and resetting the system.

We've had ADT for over a year. Haven't had any issues with box, service or any problem. If I've had issues it would be with forgetting password or putting in wrong code. Very happy. One time I did forget code and couldn't get numbers to work and operator came on and helped me shut it off.

I feel safe with my system. I have had it since 2004. It is now 2017. Some of it like the keypad and no key fobs are outdated. Otherwise I am happy with the service. In fact I recommended ADT to my neighbors and they had it installed however by an independent agent who installs & monitors not ADT directly as I have.

I would recommend ADT to friends for sure. I feel safe when home with my alarm armed. I also feel secure when I'm away from home. It gives me comfort to know there is someone there if we are there or not. I love the App for my iPhone as well. I can unarm it before I get to my drive (when I'm not the driver) or in the drive (when I am the driver). This way I can get in and close my door and know I'm secure when unpacking my car with groceries, etc. Been a very long customer with this alarm company, even though they have changed names/companies a few times. I stayed with them regardless.

U-verse stopped working on a TV - Automated system troubleshooted the problem and fixed it with no issues. It's a great thing that you can call about a problem and the automated system can help you fix it in a very short period of time. Also, happy that I didn't have to wait for a tech to come out.

I have had problem with trying to get online payments. I have gotten emails saying I was thirty days late and my bill was not even due. I have been a customer since 7/2011. Billing rates are moderate for this type of home security. Monitoring and access to customer service and support is good in my opinion. We have experienced increases in monthly billing rates the six years we have been customers, but they have been reasonable. Dependability of product has been good and provides peace of mind for basic home security. I am a satisfied customer.

I received very prompt response to my home alarm that went off at 2:00 am. Representative was very helpful and wanted to know if she should contact the police. I asked her to stay on the line while I checked the house for open doors/windows which she did and I confirmed to her that everything looked fine. She did forward me to another line so I could schedule someone to come out and look at the system the next day which they did. That representative was also extremely helpful during his visit and gave some recommendations. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the response from ADT.

May 31, 2017 I pass out and came to with a broken femur in my left thigh. I struggle to get to my key pad and hit the panic button. You guys were amazing in notifying the authorities so quickly. It took them an hour to put me in transit to the ambulance because they had to put that leg on traction. However it only took you guys 10 minutes to notify. God bless all you guys.

Overall we are satisfied with both the performance of our alarm and the service we receive. We did have a period of time when the alarm would go off within an hour of setting it but a service call took care of the issue. Recently we did some remodeling and a door with an alarm on it was removed as well as shortening the wall the alarm was on. When the service man came to move the alarm, it didn't occur to him to adjust the alarm for the removed item. We had to have a second service call and pay $25 for something that took a minute to adjust.

Always call me within a minute when the alarm or fire alarm is broken. That make me feel safe. With this service, sometimes I am not sure have lock the door but I still feel comfortable because I know if someone open the door, the alarm will broken. If I don't answer the phone, the police will go to my house.

Everything seemed great until an update was done on my cell phone and now the new current ADT Pulse app won't run on my device, therefore I can't view cameras. I have read the comments on the app rating and notice that more customers have the same issue. Now wondering if the app will be revised to be compatible with other cell phones.

The only issue I have had is with when your company does updates to the Pulse App. I had issues with it not identifying login information, but your customer service representatives has corrected the issues and assisted me each time. The install technician was very knowledgeable and really helped design a security plan that fit our needs and budget. Great product, military discount, great app for my phone. I would definitely recommend ADT services to my family and friends. I have been with ADT for 25 years now and have not had any issues. Before we purchased ADT weren't sure how long we will be at our property for to become full-time RV'ers. Spoke with ADT. They told us we could transfer service. Decided to go full-time in the RV. Try to transfer service and ADT offered the person that purchased our house instead of taking over our contract, free equipment that is already there mind you. A Visa gift card also. So that way they would get another contract out of it and 1300 out of us as well. This to me is underhanded and sheisty business. Beware of ADT and do not believe what you are told by them!!

I have had ADT for the last 2-3 years and have been totally satisfied with the service. I was most appreciative of the service when I was notified, before leaving work, that my electrical service had been interrupted. Had I not had ADT, I would not have known there was an urgent problem before reaching my home. As a result of my experience with ADT, my father has recently secured the service, as well.

Research showed ADT was one of the better opportunities so that's what I took. I've been with them for about three years. I wanted to do it good so we have the monitor at the back door wherein we push the little buttons, the sensors on each window on the main floor and on several windows upstairs that have access from a small deck that somebody could try and get in. Also, we have them on a sliding door, a side door, and a front door. And we have a camera on the outside facing the side door and a camera on the inside facing the door. We have our ATV and boat in the garage so we had our garage covered with it as well. The technicians have been nice and knowledgeable.
We called the customer service team once or twice because the lock that was installed on the back door that has the code numbers that I have to push doesn't always work. Sometimes it wouldn't open and close so we just either turn it with the key or the remote. I was told that it was installed by a company not affiliated with ADT. But that was my only problem and I have recommended ADT to a friend or two.

The service from ADT is good and I have no qualms about it. I purchased the alarm system and got a couple of keypads and the yard sign. Also, everything was good with the installation team and they were fine. But I've been shopping around to get a better price on different ones and they're all about the same. I like ADT but we're in our 80s now and I find it's a little expensive. Everyone is trying to save money and save a few bucks, especially when you're 80 years old and you're retired. If they could get me a deal on it, that would be good.

We had an ADT system installed in our home in February 2016. We thought it was doing its job until a couple of weeks ago when an agent from a competitor company dared us to allow his company to disconnect the ADT alarm system and see if the alarm center would call. It has been almost 2 weeks and nobody from ADT ever called, so we called ADT today and canceled our account.
Some might wonder how we made this decision, and it really boils down to one thing... ADT did not call when an alarm system that they were supposed to be monitoring was disconnected/interrupted. Since the bad guys have 30 seconds from the time they shatter the patio door to the time they use the same hammer to bash the keypad off the wall, this means that in "Smash and Grab" situations there is zero protection offered by the ADT system that was in our home. Our new system definitely caused an alarm when disconnected! The new company called within 22 seconds!

It's interesting that most of the reviews are so great for this company. I just tried to cancel my service and was told the buyout would be almost $700 and that the contract I signed (which coincidentally wasn't given to me by the installers) is 39 months. The interesting thing is that I specifically asked not only the guy who sold me on ADT but the installers and the customer service representatives if this was a contract containing a cancellation charge or time requirement. Wouldn't you know, each representative said that it was month-to-month (of course). I suppose this is Capitalism at its finest!
I have the money. That isn't the point nor should it be. It's once again being blatantly lied to and held hostage by a 30-page contract containing 3pt font size. ADT knows you won't read the contract because if you did, it would take an actual donkey's year. No one has that time, especially while the installer is in your house. I don't even really like to have my friends over to my house... Why, then, would I want one of ADT's Refugees hanging around my house longer than he has to? I don't and neither does any other human being on this planet... And ADT knows this. They count on this fact. It is a calculated pressure cooker requiring our signature double-time due to the desire for that uniformed automaton to abscond to whence he came.
The unfortunate thing is ADT hires young kids and other people who I can only assume are too lazy to go to college and who probably have bare essential life skills. As such, these kids do not have the ability to read the contracts themselves (more than likely due to their ADHD) nor do they understand the importance of honesty in business dealings. My experience with ADT has been one amateur experience after another. The technology is not as advertised and is so unsubstantial, it borders on embarrassing.
But based on all of the other reviews I have read, maybe I am the one who has the problem. Maybe I should just assume I will be lied to by a giant company like ADT. And why not? I'm just a guy trying to protect my family while making the best decisions I can. Why would I expect not to be taken advantage of by ADT? Well, ADT, you're a sham and it shows painfully through those who work for you. Your employees are fraudulent but not because they are bad people. Rather, they are unknowingly set up to be fraudulent because you pay them low hourly wages with a commission incentive to sell your spurious services and pseudo-technology. Thus, they will say anything to get that commission because without the commissions, they cannot afford a viable lifestyle. Congratulations on being yet another Corporate Colostomy Bag and middle-class sycophant.
To future customers: Maybe it will be different for you. Maybe my experience has something to do with some sort of cosmic comeuppance that I was due for... maybe. Regardless, you probably should read the fine print. It will take you an entire donkey year, but at least you will be able to gather important facts about your alarm system that will probably work sometimes. However, I do believe we should rise up (haha) and not deal with companies who treat us, the people, the customers, the reason for their existence, like soft-touches... like patsies. We are betrayed, ladies and gentlemen. We are ever betrayed by the products and services we buy and the Corporations peddling them. Corporations are nothing more than a vice squeezing us out of every penny they can without basic thoughts of right and wrong. So, thanks, ADT! You're a real POS.

The service package we purchased from ADT has a wireless key chain remote, motion detector inside the house and a digital keypad. We've used the system for years and the service has been very good. The installation team was professional, neatly dressed, and was done quickly. A couple of times, ADT called us especially when we had a false alarm to check and make sure we were okay, which is good. Overall, ADT is reliable and economical.

Attempted burglary at my home. May 27, 2017, ADT called my house and talked with the police officers who were present in my home. Several sliding doors were smashed yet ADT did not recognize a burglary had occurred. I was away.

When we signed up for ADT, our address was correct on the contract. However when we were out of town and there was an incident at our home, the police in Keyesport Il were notified rather than the police in Lebanon, Il, where we do live. I had to call the Lebanon police myself. I was transferred to several departments trying to get their mistake corrected, and was told the city had been corrected. I have called several times to report this and requested a paper document with the correct city be sent for me to sign.
Finally a month later I received the document, which I signed and returned. Now this week I have had 5 emails with the document attached... still with the wrong city. I called again today and was assured once again that the correction will be made. Once again I requested a correct document be mailed to me. We'll see how that goes. This whole experience with ADT is unacceptable. I have been paying their fee for all these months and have NOT had the security I paid for. I would not recommend ADT to anyone.

My husband and I received an ad thru mail from ADT. The ad said $27.99 per month Home Security System with control panel, motion sensor & wireless remote. It includes Free system activation, 15 Free pre-wired Door or Window Sensors and Free $100 Visa gift card. My husband called the 1-800 number to get more info. He was told that a technician will come to our house and explain all the details and that an installation fee of $99 will be charged at once to "facilitate installation".
The technician came 2 weeks after and immediately proceeded to make a hole on our wall to install the control panel. He said this was their standard procedure to make sure that the system will work. We told him that this was highly unusual because we haven't discussed the terms and policies and what will happen if we don't agree. He said the hole will be patched up by the company. So, after installing the control panel, he sat us down and presented to us the best security plan that he thinks will give us the best protection. The plan will cost $6,000.00! We definitely said NO. Then he lowered the cost to $2,000. Again, we said NO.
He asked us how much we are willing to spend and he will call his manager to get an approval. He did not explain to us what the ad included. When we asked him, he said the ad gives us only 6 door/window alarms and 1 sensor for free. Since this was not enough to fully protect our house, we had to get additional alarms and ended up paying $543.75. Next he said the monthly fee will be $52.99 because the system will use our cellphones. He said the $27.99 stated on the ad is for a landline use. The ad did not specify that the fee is for a landline use. I found out after installation that our credit card was charged an installation fee of $107.66 even before the system was installed.
The $100 visa gift card was to compensate for the installation fee. To redeem the gift card, I have to pay $4.95 S&H and it had to be via a Cashier's check or a money order. My bank charges $10 for a cashier's check! I called the company from where I will redeem the gift card (it's not ADT) to complain and they said that they will accept a personal check. We never received any contract of agreement from ADT so the terms and conditions of this security plan is not very clear to us. I have mailed a letter of complaint to ADT and have yet to receive a response. My husband and I feel that we were trapped into buying this security system because of the way the technician handled the installation procedure and that he was not very well-informed of the terms of the plan. The ADT ad is false and highly misleading specially about the $27.99 monthly fee.

I was visited by ADT rep. And was told there would be no install charges and set up an appt. The guy that came advised of different options on my windows. Stated with either option monthly fee would be the same. But never said of one time fee which totals almost $1200.00. After I asked him to dill out the security certificate, he still failed to fill it out. He responded to my message after I reminded him for 2nd time. Said he would come back and fill it out. He never did. So I spoke to my original rep that had visited me. Said he would fix issue. He never did. So I had to place a 3rd call. After all that, they also failed to display the alarm sign in my yard and recognized they failed. Til now, they still have not. What bad, expensive and inconvenient service. I reporting them to the state.

Most people in our neighborhood have security services. I saw the signs so we wanted to get something and decided to call ADT. We’re backed up to what used to be a golf course and we've had two robberies before. So we thought we'll have a sign put up in the backyard too and they gave us one. Hopefully, it has helped to make anyone not come in. We also have motion sensors in our den. We had no problems with the installer. He was quick. Twice, we forgot to turn off the alarm and it went off. ADT called and were friendly and very businesslike. We just told them everything's fine. So far, we're very pleased with the service and our experience has been very good.

I am so very dissatisfied with the customer service experience I had with a division of ADT- which is AMS- this division as I was told works as a middle person b/t ADT and the police. The representative I spoke with lacked the very basic training to answer questions. Here is what happened. On Dec 14th, 2016 when ADT called to advise of a triggered alarm- No one was home as both my husband and I were at work. My husband answered the call and informed the ADT rep. That no one was in the home as both he and I were at work. The ADT rep asked my husband if he would like ADT to send the police and my husband stated yes.
Later that same day when I spoke with the ADT representative, I asked him 2 questions. Firstly, where the alarm was being triggered from- he told me the garage door, then I asked him what could have caused that to happen given that no one was home. He said it could have been the wind. I then asked him if we would be charged for that. He said NO. I know that all calls are recorded. So, when I got this bill in the mail, I called ADT and explained the matter, focused on the fact that I was told there would be no charge for the dispatch. I was told to escalate the matter to the AMS as there was nothing they could do. I do so via email as instructed.
I then got a call from (Benis or Venus). After several times asking her to spell her name she wouldn't. She told me that the decision would stand and that I would have to pay for the dispatch. I asked her if she listened to the call. She said NO. I explained to her that had I been told I had to pay, I would. But I was told otherwise. She ended the call telling me she would call me the next day. June 6th she calls and tells me that the decision will still stand. I then asked her who I can escalate the matter to, she placed me on hold and came back on the phone and said "Acenia" (I believe that was the name she used although I am not certain) said the decision was final. I said "Ok... can I have the spelling of the name of the person you spoke to?" She replied by telling me that they are very busy right now... I NEVER asked her to speak with the person. I asked her the spelling of the person's name.
At this point I lost my patience. Because she refused to give me the spelling of the person's name. And then she says, "You can escalate it by emailing an appeal." They never listened to the tape. This interaction in a 24 hr time span has left me completely disgusted with the ADT experience. As a Sales Manager in sales, when our employees misrepresent our company either intentionally or out of lack of knowledge- we never penalize the customer. I will submit an appeal but I have a feeling that I am going to get nowhere because no one is willing to retrieve the recording and audit the call to find the truth.

I have called ADT 4 times because of their PULSE app to help monitor my home when I am away. The reason for the call is because the app is not working. Their reason for the APP not working was because the PULSE app was deleted from my account. This deletion was done without my consent and I received no notification this was the case. When I asked for it to be reinstated, they said they had to research why it was deleted first. And then I was put on hold. Each time, the phone calls result in being on hold for 30+ minute with no resolution. Last night I spoke to a supervisor and she told me she would research it, but it's been close to 24 hours since I spoke with her with no call or answer to my question. I'm very frustrated and dissatisfied with this service and with the response of ADT in this matter.

We have had ADT for about 2 years now, and it has never fully worked. We are supposed to have an alarm chime on every door but the back door never had one and the sensor has never worked either. There have been times I let our dog out the back door while the system was armed, and it never set anything off. There has also been several other times when we would get home from work and the alarm would be going off and we, nor the police, have ever been notified (not to mention there is no telling how long our poor dog has had to listen to it).
When we tried to get an ADT tech to come out and look at it, they wanted to charge us a certain amount of money per 15 minutes, for something that was their fault to begin with. When I called to cancel the appointment, the person I spoke with was not at all concerned about my complaints, they simply canceled my appointment. After that, every time I called and chose the option to "cancel my account", I was told that it would transfer my call and it hung up on me every time. I finally chose a different option and was transferred just fine.
Overall, I am mostly disappointed in their expectation of having the customer pay for their poor installation. The product itself, I believe, may have been better than our experience, had our needs been taken care of by the company. Now we are completely fed up and are having to pay almost $300 to get out of our contract for a service that never fully worked. Next time, I will be looking for a security system who is confident enough in the satisfaction of their product to not press their customers for a contract.

We got ADT's alarm system and we have the camera. I'm very satisfied with their services. Their sales representatives have always been good. I also have no complaints with their installation team.

We had a positive experience with the sales rep from ADT. He set us up and we were happy with what he did for us. We ended up getting the service package with a camera, sensors, doors and windows. Our system has occasional glitches but they seem to straighten themselves out. We'd recommend ADT and we would go with them again.

I'm very satisfied with ADT. The interactions with the installation team were wonderful. If I've set my alarm off accidentally, ADT reps have always responded quickly.

Happy to be back with ADT. Only have had one problem and still we have not gotten an answer as to WHY it happened. May 9 our alarm went off approx 2:10 pm and we were not able to shut if off. We called and spoke to several people and no one was able to help us. For 40 minutes this alarm was blaring and we had a difficult time hearing anybody or anything. I was asking if they could send someone to check out the system as to WHY it went off to begin with. We were both home and it just went off. Still to this day I am wondering what caused this? Well we know it works, but I was actually shocked that NO ONE showed up: police, fire, just really don't understand. First time this has ever happened and I pray it doesn't take a spell like this again UNLESS we are needing it! Thanks!

Upon review, it looks as though a medical alert was triggered by the second key fob. The authorization code was not properly received by the system until almost 30 minutes later.
During that time, ADT notified the medical department and later cancelled them when we reached you and were informed it was a false alarm.

ADP's service is wonderful, they help me out. Overall, I'm very pleased with them. The sales rep was friendly and don't pressure you to buy and they also have a fast installation team. Keep up the great work.

I do not normally publicly do this but since their corporate office hides behind their webpage and can't be found to contact I am posting this here. I would encourage anyone considering ADT to use something else. They are like car salesmen. The sales team will be all great and professional. Promise you the moon. Then when there is an issue, you are on your own. They cut off our service in our current residence without authorization when we had service installed at a new location. Even after explaining repeatedly to the relocation specialist that we did not want the service discontinued at the current residence. They cut off the service at the current residence anyway.
When I discovered it, it took almost a week and a half, 15 plus people, most of whom were card reading CSR's that were useless, and screaming at the agent on the last call to get something accomplished. Oh and she was the Cancellation Specialist. It took all of 5 minutes for her to message the apparently one and only reactivation "specialist" for all of ADT to get them to flip the switch. This after multiple promises that it would be handled, taken care of, agent was going to 'walk right over to appropriate office and hand it off". What a load of crap.
And since they planned to rape me for $1000+ for a cancellation fee, I'm forced to keep their service with all its "customer NO service". Now, that it is reactivated, I still have to have a technician out to "make sure everything is hooked up properly" when nothing changed with the system except they flipped a switch at corporate. What a joke of a company. I am sorry I ever decided to trust them with my safety and security. I would advise anyone considering them to consider alternatives. Do it yourself. But avoid ADT.
