Prompt, happy, smart installation. Good people. I would recommend ADT to a friend and have. The service is all that was promised and the equipment works well and looks nice. In a word great, a good experience. thats all, no more (lol)

Absolutely I’d recommend ADT to my family & friends. I’m pleased with the service & equipment. The Pulse app is also really cool as well. ADT definitely gives me & my family peace of mind, we really can’t think thing to complain about, ADT gets Two thumbs up.

ADT called us during the service hours to let us know when the technician would arrive which was fantastic! Our technician Lester was wonderful! Took care of everything on our upgrade to Pulse. Made sure to test all alarms and go over how app and additional features we ordered worked. Great technician! Thank you ADT!!

I have been very pleased with ADT with providing security services to my family. My first encounter with ADT wasn’t a pleasant one because the advertisement price and the final price was wrong due to my phone provider. This wasn’t explained in the advertising that you needed a specific carrier but after that miscommunication things have gotten better.

When our outdoor sign broke, I appreciated the ease of ordering a new one at no charge. We also appreciated being notified when our alarm went off while we were on travel. The only thing I would suggest would be a follow-up call after the police arrived to know for sure that they hadn't found anything suspicious.

My phone had died and I was at work when I received the alarm. I'm glad that ADT watched over my home and notified police in the time of my absence. Even though the robbers got some items they were too scared to get more thanks to ADT notifying the police.

When my alarm system wouldn't arm, I immediately called ADT. Service was swift. The tech was onsite within 2 hours; problem solved! Thanks ADT for putting my mind at ease and making me feel protected once again! I would most definitely recommend ADT to anyone needing an alarm system. It took 2 break in's for me to realize that both could have been prevented if I'd had a system in place.

My son-in-law was a manager at ADT for several years and I've been their customer for a long time. So far, I've always been extremely satisfied with their service. Every window and every door in my house and workshop is armed, and I feel very safe with that. I also have the horn that blows when somebody cracks the window or opens the door. When that happens, I know how to get to my protection in a hurry and I know how to call 911 once I have the protection in my hand.
The installer also explained to me that if somebody wants to get in my house and doesn't want the alarm to go off, they would cut the wire outside. But I'm protected against that with the cellphone backup that he installed. His name was Sandy and he was very personable. He knew what he was doing and he was back here several times to do little things for me. I bought a safe and he came out and armed it for me. One time, one of the pads that I punch in my code wouldn't work and I had a terrible time trying to get the alarm to shut up. I called for Sandy to come back but they said he wasn't there anymore. The one who came out was very nice and very professional.
I've always been quite pleased with ADT. We have a few alarm companies in Mobile and from time to time, we were offered a pretty good deal with them. I called ADT about that and they took care of me. So, they're a very good company. The people that they send out seem to be very knowledgeable, too. They know exactly what to do and they do it. Then they ask if there's anything else that you need. They're very helpful and I would not change unless something drastic happens. I would also tell others that ADT is the best. They don't need to look anywhere else. ADT is very reasonable with their prices, and when you need them, they're very quick to come out and fix whatever you need fixed. I've had my system for a long time and I've only had to have one pad replaced. So I don't have problems with it and it seems to work great.

I’m glad I got ADT. I like it and I enjoy it. But I have all my doors turned off and I wear something around my neck all day, ‘cause I was always setting the system off. I was washing my hair the other day and the system went off, and they called me. But they always call in no time.

They are a good company until you cancel. Then their true colors come out. They go up every year for no reason! They wanted to charge me $400 by the 3rd year. Then I went to cancel and they tell me it wasn’t their problem I didn't read the fine print but it takes 1 month to cancel. So I would have to pay for their services the extra 2 weeks. The guy was rude & would only talk over me!!! Go to another security company unless you plan on keeping ADT for life & paying their prices. They continually go up year after year. Then you have to put up with their very rude customer service!!! Seek another company!!!
Hello Pam. I apologize for this experience. ADT does require a 30 days notice prior to canceling our services. Additionally, ADT can advised of a rate increase after your first year, however you can dispute these increases as soon as you see them with our billing team. We have been very pleased with our service from ADT. No news is good news. Occasionally, we set off the alarm by accident and the ADT folks call to confirm there is no problem. We have had a time or two in 15+ years that an alarm was set off accidentally while we were not at home and the ADT response was coordinated with local law enforcement. We feel that ADT has our back.

I’ve known ADT for years. The equipment's quality is okay and I haven’t had a problem with it. However, when I had to have a battery put in, it took forever to get here. We even said we would pay to have it shipped overnight because we were without a system. I’m a senior citizen and I'm here by myself a lot. They wouldn’t do it and I was not happy about that. Other than that, the overall experience is fine.

Somebody who used to be a salesman for a different company that I had dealt with started working for ADT and came to see if we were interested. The system has been great, but it has gone off a few times recently for no reason. ADT was very prompt about calling me and was very caring because when the alarm went off at 2 o'clock in the morning, we turned off the alarm and the rep asked me if I was sure I was okay because she could still hear something whistling. I said it was because I was putting my hearing aid. I'm more than satisfied with the service and I have recommended ADT many times.

I was promised 39.99 for the first year and 48.99 for the remaining 2 years. When the installer got here he pressured us into adding extra features, then told us to download the Pulse app to have control of our system from our phones. He didn't tell us that using the app would void the promotion we agreed to...driving our monthly rate up to 52.99!! Calling customer service did no good. Even talking to the manager got us nowhere. He just said it is what it is. I called ADT directly. They said they couldn't do anything for 90 days, because that’s when Protect Your Home sells them the contract. What?? To top it off, they promised a $100 gift card, which turned out I had to fill out a form and said a cashier’s check/money order for $4.95. Don't forget the cost of the money order. This is bad business. I've had gift card.

The salesperson was polite, and the installation team was professional and courteous. I'm satisfied with what they do and I've had no issues. I have had them since the 0s, so we've had ADT for a long time already. They don’t have an updated service package where they offer a lot more than what I have. But, I like what we have now and we will probably update in the near future.

After multiple service calls and a year of living with a system that does not work as sold, it's time to cancel ADT for cause. I have two main issues: 1st issue: The garage door remote opener function hasn't worked in almost two years. I've had multiple service reps visit and it's never worked after the initial install. It's been inoperative for over a year and I gave up on technicians trying to figure it out.
2nd issue: The external cameras keep going out and the service technicians keep telling me they are out of warranty and to buy new ones at $199 a piece. After buying 2 new cameras. I had two more stop working. So I've gone through 4 cameras in 2 years. Half the alarm components don't work now. When I called to cancel based upon the fact that half my system hasn't worked in a year I get gouged for a $400 service cancellation fee! That being said, it's cheaper to cancel than to pay for 2 add'l cameras and live with a system that doesn't work as advertised. From Day1 I've had issues with this crappy wireless alarm system.
I've had an ADT system installed in my homes (plural) for 6+ years now. After these unresolved issues, personal time spent scheduling and working with technicians to never resolve my issues, my recommendation would be to go to another security provider! After 6+ years as an ADT subscriber on multiple homes... I would not recommend ADT!

We have located and reviewed the account. Per our records and understanding, your account was started in November, 2015. We have documentation that only one service appointment was completed in July, 2016. ADT was sent out to inspect doors and windows and, while on-site, relearned the garage door controller. As of February, 2018 no other service appointments have been scheduled or completed.
Please be advised that you do have a maintenance agreement. If the trouble you are experiencing with your Pulse devices were the result of normal wear and tear, we encourage you to call us and set up an appointment. Replacement of the devices may not be necessary.

The sales technician arrived promptly and was very personable. He listened to my concerns, walked through the house, told me about the basics of the package I had purchased over the phone, and then provided me with his security assessment. We went through each step and he allowed me to pick what I felt was best for my family's situation. There wasn't any high pressured sales. After we agreed on a package, he completed the install and explained everything again. I was very impressed. One side note - when I called to schedule, the first agent should have explained more that the monthly service charge could vary if there wasn't a landline option. That is my only complaint.

The ADT sales representative called, came out, was very knowledgeable, very nice, and did a great job. He was also the installer and has been the only person who ever came to our home. My ADT service package includes a remote control and the boxy sensors on the windows, doors and so forth. I tell others to go ahead with ADT as I have not encountered any problems with them and I'm very happy with the service.

A friend of mine told me about ADT. Their sales rep was fine and professional. However, they could probably keep me better informed of their updates. I had never had an update in 17 years. A couple years ago, someone tore up my ADT sign off my yard and I contacted them because I needed new signs and they were really kind of bought. I have had their service for a long time and that was the only time I have ever requested anything. That kind of not deterred me. ADT gives me the security that my house is okay when I am not here.

They did a great job on the installation and I feel secure having ADT installed. I was told upfront that the "sales flyer price" was for using telephone lines in the house for their service. The "cellular system" would cost more by not using the phone lines in the house for their service. The installation price did increase due to additional monitors and sensors being installed on each floor in the house, as I was only quoted a price on the phone for the 1st floor. I was surprised seeing a sub-contractor show up to do the installation, but I have found out in the past that other companies do this also. The technician did a great job doing the installation and he explained everything to me about the install and service while he was doing the work. He answered all my questions and did a great job.

ADT security cameras record for only 30 seconds. After that 30 seconds, it takes 5 minutes for the camera to “reboot.” They do not disclose this to you. My “hardwired” system does not work, and I have been paying for it, for over 5 years. When ADT learned this, they told me, "Oh well," and asked me if I wanted to renew my contract and offered an appointment beyond a month. I do not know how a security company can get away with selling security cameras that do not do anything.

If you have ADT or are looking into a new alarm system - you NEED TO READ THIS! ADT, the WORST alarm system EVER! We were a victim of home invasion and burglary on December 15, 2015. The Thief(s) opened the door to our house to take my car keys - the alarm was set, but didn't go off!!! We slept straight through them taking my car, filling it up with items from our garage, and driving away. This has cost us money, time, energy, sleep, and a lost sense of security in OUR OWN HOME. I called ADT on a couple occasions to be told that the next level up is the CEO, hung up on, transferred to voicemail ultimately to tell me that they have to send a Tech out to verify that our alarm is faulty.

We joined in 1980 before they were ADT and I've always had very good service as far as the program that I wanted. They took over for Brinks when they bought out the company and they provided us with excellent service all these years. It's a fine company and we are very satisfied. I would highly recommend them because they're very good with the monitoring.

I’ve been very happy with ADT. They took over Brinks, whom we had before. I trust and appreciate that ADT calls and checks on us when the alarm goes off or if we need help, especially that I can have my pendant attached to the alarm system. They also come out when we have a problem with the system, like when replacing the battery or whatever has to be done. We pay extra for the service package. Customer service have been very courteous, too. They explain things to me with the pendant, like how to check it.

We are all satisfied with ADT. We have the outside alarm and the remote -- I can arm and disarm on the phone. So I think we’re in good shape. We had a problem with one of the alarms in our bedroom that went off prematurely so we called and a man came out spontaneously within a couple of days. He replaced it bu within a week it was going off again and he came out and he replaced it with a new sale right out of the box. So I think the first time he replaced it he used a reconditioned sale. It didn’t last long. But we have had no problem in the last two months with it. Everything works nicely. I feel comfortable with it. I’m well-satisfied.

I called ADT because I had their system before. When I called the company to have them reinstall the ADT system I spoke with Jim. He was very professional and funny. On the day I had have them to install the system the installer was Sterling. He came on time and he was very professional. The installation went very well. Sterling explained everything about the new system. He even showed me how to set up my phone to connect to ADT system. I only have had this new system for about 6 days. I'm really pleased that I have the ADT system.

ADT is a good system. I like the whole system. You got the fire department and the health department all on the same keyboard. The sales rep was patient, nice and concerned about what I was thinking.

We had ADT install our equipment and provide our monthly service. There was not a problem until we sold our home. We called ADT to put them on hold until we purchased a new home. We paid $100 to hold our service since we had not fulfilled the 3 year contract. (Which I was not told about - but I will chalk that up as my fault since I did not thoroughly read the contract, and just took the word of the installer.) The new buyers of our home called ADT and began a new service with them. Their first monthly charge was put on our credit card. I could not find anyone at ADT that could fix the mistake, so I had to cancel my credit card to avoid future billings on my card. Finally someone I spoke to, after a month of calling, figured out the mistake and credited my account.
A couple of different times, we have had agents call to see if we were ready to begin our new service to which we told them we were in the process of buying a new house, but have not finalized everything yet, and our closing date for our new house is set for the end of February. However, today we received a call from collections stating that we owe ADT $700 because we have not started back up with them. We had just talked to a representative a few days ago and told her that the new house was under contract and we would be calling soon. NO MENTION FROM HER OF A $700 BILL GOING TO COLLECTIONS BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT STARTED BACK UP WITH THEM YET!! Needless to say, I am FURIOUS!! I paid the $700 to keep it off of my credit report, BUT they will NEVER get my business again!!

We have verified that your services were not purchased directly through ADT security, but through a company named Defenders INC Protect Your Home. This being the case, when your services in Texas were cancelled, they pursued you for 75% of the remaining contract balance.

I just got my ADT system installed at our on January 23. In the evening we turned on the alarm and went out to have dinner. My neighbor next door called us to tell of a high pitch noise coming from our home. When we got home the alarm was off. Looking at the monitor, it said the zone 6 (Our kitchen door) was open. I noticed that the magnetic was gone. I called the telephone number on the brochure that night and was told it's too late to send someone. They will have a tech out the next day. This starts what I call a nightmare experience.
After 6 days of waiting, I called again. I must have gone through 4 individuals, repeating the same problem over and over again. I finally got a tech and was told that they won't be able to service it until February 20. That's about a month away. We live in Los Angeles (not somewhere in the boonies). I then called the 800 number on the sign and I got someone who told me that they only monitor the system and another company installs it and there's nothing they can do. I can't believe ADT reputation is in the hands of another company and they can't do anything.
So I have to wait. I then called by the installation company and wanted to have the system remove and refund me. They replied that I only had 3 days to cancel and since I called back 6 days, it's too late. The last insult was I receive on January 30, a bill from ADT for monitoring from January 23 to January 31 and February 1 to February 28 for $67.12. I won't recommend to anyone to get this alarm system.

I recently set my alarm as I exited my home. Since my neighbors were coming to feed my animals, I did not intend to set it. ADT responded immediately, calling both my phones and sending the police to verify who was in my house. They did not simply accept the explanation of my “intruders”, but took immediate action with me and the police to verify the ID’s. Then they reset my alarm when the neighbors exited.

The technician who performed the installation of my alarm system was very thorough and knowledgeable and pleasant. I have only had the system for a few days, but I am pleased with my decision to switch to ADT thus far.

The technician who came to install the alarm system was very friendly and courteous. My only quip is the fact that I was I was getting x amount of accessories and the technician didn't have the proper order. He took the time to make a call to his supervisor and got it mostly right. I believe I was still left without at least one extra accessory. Don't know where the fault lies. Maybe I should have written down all the order while chatting with the sales rep. but trusted that all would be okay. Lesson learned.

We have AT&T-installed cameras that we use through ADT that go out more often than wanted, but we've been with them so long that it doesn’t really matter anymore. The cameras run on the internet and the internet sucks because of the area that we're in. ADT's good as a company, but they don’t come out when the alarm goes off. If we turned the alarm off within a certain amount of time, they’d call with a recording that says my alarm went off and it was turned off. The reps used to call, but they don’t anymore.

I understand that you have some concerns regarding ADT’s alarm procedures and why you are not called or you received a recorded message if the alarm is tripped and you enter your code to disarm your system. If you accidentally set off your alarm and enter your code to disarm the system, you may or may not be notified. To further explain this, on a burglar alarm the signal will transmit 30 seconds after the siren activates. On fire/carbon monoxide/medical/or any type of life safety device the signal transmits upon activation of the siren. Once the alarm signal is received in the monitoring center, the agent will start notification procedures of the signal. However, if an authorized restoral code is received, the agent may disregard the alarm and an Interactive Voice Response call is placed to the premise number. This procedure is to help reduce false alarms being reported to authorities.

Technicians were quick and knowledgeable. All my questions were answered. I now feel my home is safe again after having been broken into while we were away. The loss of our property and damage to our home was heart-breaking and scary. I now feel protected.

We used to have a different service and it was bought by ADT. The installation team set it up once and it works beautifully. We like ADT a lot. We have all new hardware and everything is modern. We're very happy with how we can turn the system on with our phone. It's very convenient. We turn our lights on and off from the outside. And we know we're safe because we can turn our system on or off in the car. We can turn it off before we get in the house. We don't have to do the old way which is having to run and hit the wall code off. ADT takes care of all our needs, and it's a nice service. I would definitely tell my friends to have it.

Corporate vs local "authorized" dealer - one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. If the local "authorized" dealer tells you something - DON'T BELIEVE IT. Especially when it comes to canceling. I moved and they wanted to still charge cancellation even though the LOCAL representative said, "No, that won't happen," when I SPECIFICALLY asked about it. Corporate says you can have someone come out and fix an issue at no charge. Another phone number says they will charge. Who do you call?

If you choose to cancel the services, without relocating and are still under contract, then early termination charges equal to 75% of the reaming balance would still apply. We’ve had ADT for almost 30 years. Our original one was hardwired and then, we have a new one in our new house that’s wireless. I really like the Pulse system which we did not have with the old one because it was hardwired. I like being able in the summer to control my air conditioning from the phone if we’d been away, and we up it then the house is cool when we get home and I can see what’s going on in the house. It tells you if any sensors have been tripped, or if it’s armed, you can disarm it from the phone, or arm it from the phone. If you forget to arm it and you’re out somewhere and you want to check, you can go on and arm it. We may add cameras in the next month or so.
I'm very happy with the service. If something goes wrong, they call immediately, or I get a text or an email. If there’s an alert, they’re very responsive. If the tech has to come, they’re always right on time. We use paperless billing, so I always get a nod up, “Your bill’s going to hit" and we pay quarterly.

I've had ADT for almost three years and couldn't be more disappointed with their "service." I had no problems for about two years. However, this past year has been a nightmare. On multiple occasions if an alarm was triggered they would not get the signal received on their end. On another occasion ADT gave our account number to another customer somehow, when their alarms were triggered the fire department and police showed up at our door. With all this, not one time did they offer a reimbursement for the useless alarm system. I'm currently in a three year contract and will be ending my business with them at that time. If you want a security system that provides no piece of mind, this is the one for you.

They are big liars! They promised me that I was going to get the 27.99 monthly promotion rate & that they were going to add to my existing window & door contacts. After they installed their alarm system, I was informed that my monthly bill would be 54.99 because I didn't have a landline (never mentioned this prior to installation) and they disconnected all my prior contacts on my window & doors that were still working & told me that I had to use theirs because my old ones were hardwired & my new system is wireless (again never informed me of this until after installation) and one of my motion detectors doesn't even work! Also, they removed my old keypad & placed their new keypad in a different location & left a hole in my wall where the old keypad was. Now I have to find someone to come patch the hole up in my drywall. Absolutely the poorest service that I have ever seen!

The company I had bought out ADT and it was a gradual transition. Everything was already intact and we just changed over. Their service has been perfect and I'm very happy with them.

I've had ADT before and they accidentally canceled it on me for some reason. So, we went with another company but they went out, so I went back to ADT. I have the wireless keychain but I don't have the smartphone. So far, ADT has been fine. I have it on two houses, my home and the one over in Franklin, a hundred miles away that no one's there most of the time. Also, their customer service team has taken care of everything that I've asked. Some of my friends that have ADT seem positive about it as well.

ADT what a jock. What a scam! They promise something over the phone, and when they come to my house after installing the system they want to charge me over $500 saying that wasn't in the package that I choose! In the meantime I didn't get an email with what the package we agree so was very easy for them to turn around! Their customer service and employees don't inspire any confidence. After speaking with their manager which agree to the package I purchase, the technician uninstall the whole system leaving holes around and took his equipment and left because I didn't agree paying their hidden fees. I look on yelp and see how many "great reviews" they have and now I know why! Stay away. Stay away! If I had a way to have them pay for the damages that they did in my new house I will.

The installer was very polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was thorough in his explanation of how the system works, and answered all my questions. The electrician was also friendly and did her job quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased with this experience. The ADT representative arrived at the appointed time. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. The installation went very well. I had a pre-existing system which he disconnected and used the same location to install the new monitoring board so as to cover the existing hole in the wall. He was thorough in his explanation of how the system works, and answered all my questions. The electrician was also friendly and did her job quickly and efficiently. One of the worst experiences I have had but with another company. I scheduled an appointment based on a flyer I received advertising a free security system and free installation for $27.99 per month. The technician was very nice but seemed like more of a salesman than an installer. He installed the system and explained that for no additional fee I could sign up for their pulse system and I could watch my home from my cell phone. He only had to install 3 of the 15 sensors advertised for free in the flyer because the place had already been wired for an alarm. He provided an alarm with the siren coming from the keypad and a motion sensor. When I got my first credit card statement there were charges on there that I did not authorize and did not know they would be charging. He did explain that the pulse system would cost extra or a total of $52.99 per month which I agreed to.
Before he left I asked where the free video camera was and he stated that he did not have any with him and he would come back in a week or so and bring a camera. After waiting 2 weeks with no response I contacted ADT and was told that I would have to contact Protect your home. I contacted Defenders Protect Your Home and was told that there would be a $299 installation charge for the camera. I refused to pay this charge because the flyer stated free installation and now I am paying 52.99 for a service that is only worth 27.99.
This is a classic bait and switch tactic which is a violation of Federal regulations and may expose them to legal liability. I am a retired Administrative Judge and it may be that I will be forced to file a lawsuit against them in the United States District in the Northern District of Georgia. I will draw up a template for a suit against them that can be customizable for any state so others can available themselves of representing themselves in court without the need for a lawyer. I have tried to discuss this with a manager but no one has returned my calls. I would not do business with this company ever again If I had known what type of company I would not have done any business. I gave them a one star simply because I could not rate them any lower.

I've had ADT for over 25 years. And although there was never a break in, the alarm had been set off a couple of times and I've gotten calls from them. I had my system upgraded recently and I'm happy with the features that it has. And while the ADT representatives have been fine, the cost is an issue. Like all services, they give you a hell of a deal and get you on board and then after a couple of years, the price starts to rise. Still, I would recommend ADT, and I tell my friends I'm satisfied with it.

I have a basic alarm system from ADT that covers the doors and windows with the breakers, and it's got glass breakage on them. The only problem we've had is with the battery going dead every so often, and they come out and service that. We had a bad sensor one time that caused the alarm to go off. They came out and replaced that, but they did so quickly and promptly so I'm completely satisfied. They were very professional, thorough and polite.

We’ve been with ADT for four years now. We have a basic service and it’s been good. We’ve had a couple of times when we set the alarm off and ADT had a good response. We’ve also had some people helping watch our house and accidentally set it off. It seems like the security system works like it should. I’d recommend ADT. My neighbor, who had no service from ADT, had his house burgled about a year and a half ago. Ours didn’t get hit because we had a service. After the incident, my neighbor signed up for ADT as well.

We were with Brink's before and got rolled into ADT when Brink's was bought out. We've been customers of ADT for more than a decade. We have the equipment on board, so it doesn't pay the switch and change equipment out. Their rates have been reasonable. We've had a couple of problems with our equipment and they were attentive at fixing the problem. When we call, we are able to speak with somebody right away. Their system works and we don't think much about it. We turn it on when we leave the house and at night.

I've been with ADT for over 20 years. If there's a problem, they take care of it and they'll walk me through certain things. They're a little on the high price side, but after looking around at other companies that are in the same field, I feel they're very dependable so I've stayed with them. They've responded and answered questions, not always to my liking, but they give me answers that I can live with. And they take care of the essentials, and that's all I'm concerned about. Sometimes it takes a little longer than I would like when I have to dial in and I get shifted from one to another, but they're a reliable company and their equipment is good.

We used to have Brinks then ADT bought them out so we're on ADT and we've been with them for about 30 years now. I have never changed my home security company since ADT can do me justice when I need help and I get quick responses with them. We’ve had the system serviced three or four different times over the years, but the ADT team comes out and seem to do good service and repair it properly. I have an antique keyboard and ADT put a new keyboard. Everything seems to be working good now and I'm satisfied with the service. ADT is good, secure, and I never had issues with them. If I had a service need, they come out fast and accomplish the required fix-up. Also, we live out in a rural area so it takes the police a little longer to get here but they always come out for show or let us know about it. I’d recommend ADT.

Jared, the installer, was excellent and explained everything he was going to do, made recommendations and explained why he preferred certain options and locations for different sensors. I've been a member of ADT services for the past five or more years. They are always there when I call and they are very helpful. The technicians are always very pleasant and usually very Timely. If they're not going to be on time they generally will call ahead. A good example of their professionalism is when home by myself I had a small grease fire in my kitchen with my two small children at home and they were very quick to respond and send help. Made me feel very comfortable knowing they were there and they responded promptly.

ADT had a $28 thing going but I let their salesman talk me into spending $52 every month. So, initially, it was the price that led me to sign up with them but I ended up paying 50 bucks anyway. With ADT, I could turn my burglar alarm on through my cell phone in case I left home or if I wanted to shut it off when somebody was coming back or a relative was coming by, I could do that anywhere. Sometimes, I had deliveries coming to the house and I had somebody at the house to accept the delivery while I was at work. When that person got confused with the password, I had to shut it down myself.
Their reps were nice people, too. After the system was installed, I thought one of the motion sensors was broke. If I turned it on at a certain spot, it didn't work. I got an attached garage and I was going through it. But the motion sensor was not connected to the door that goes from my main room to the garage and I didn't know that in order for the motion detector to be turned on, I had to go out one of the doors that the alarm was connected to. So, ADT came out and they realized what was going on. They showed me how to do it and I know what to do now. But they said that if I used the remote, it alarmed the whole thing. And if I didn't use the remote, I would have to go out. But if I wanted the motion detector to be on, I would have to go out one of the doors that it was connected to. Other than that, everything seems to be okay. I like them and I'm satisfied at the moment.

I have been with ADT for many years because it gives me extra security. I'm now alone so that's particularly important. Knowing that I have it gives an extra peace of mind. Their customer service reps have always been very good, very reliable, and informative. There's only one thing I wish. They have a camera that they're offering now and I wish they give me one of those cameras. But that's only if you're getting a new install.

We have a very independent 91 year old sweet as pie grandmother who had recently been having stability issues. After a disastrous fall one evening that had her sleeping on a cold, hard, cement garage floor we were able to talk her into allowing us to contact ADT to install a system that aided in helping her loved ones keep a watch on her as she continues with independent living. We spent half a day on the phone with ADT setting up arrangements to have cameras, alarm and a fall detection necklace. At EACH level we spoke to ADT representatives we explained the situation and clearly stated she did not have the internet.
The first representative was just the call taker. I would really understand and would accept her not knowing the equipment as well as the next two ADT representatives. The next step was the sales department. We began explaining that we wanted to monitor our grandmother who had NO INTERNET. He expressed that we did not need internet that everything would go through a landline.
I again questioned the cameras. He assured us that yes we would still be able to monitor her through the cameras WITHOUT INTERNET. As we were completing the call, contract and payment he was reading off the contract as he got to the INTERNET portion again I paused him and said, "Wait, you explained that we did not need the internet." His response was, "That is correct. I was reading from the wrong section. Disregard that. YOU DO NOT NEED INTERNET." We finished that portion and he went on to transfer me to the Life Alert Department. Again reassuring me that internet was not necessary.
So the next phone call I receive is confirming the appointment and again the internet conversation comes up again. This one says to make sure we have internet up when they arrive. AGAIN I explain that she does not have internet and that is was discussed that we did not need it that the system would go through the landline. So here we are at the appointment date. The installers come and tell us there is nothing they can do without INTERNET. I call ADT up and explained to that representative the whole situation her response is "Uh Huh, Uh huh, sorry about that... we can reschedule after you have internet... did you get the Life Alert set up?" My jaw dropping response... did hear anything I said. There is a contract signed under false pretenses that is going to go into affect without cameras.
Again her response is, "Would you like me to transfer you to the Life Alert Department to get you set up (meantime the Life Alert package has not even came yet.) I go on to say, "I would like to speak to someone above you to rectify this situation." She tells me they are out of the office. I tell her I find that hard to believe that all supervisory staff are all out of the office. She goes on to say, "I can transfer you to a voice mail." I ask her to speak to a corporate office. She says, "I am speaking to a corporate office and there is NO supervisory staff but I can transfer you to a voice mail." I explained I would like to speak to a live person. She goes on to say okay... and transfers me to a voice message.
Nothing accomplished. Still waiting for a response and/or resolution. Life Alert package still has not come. This is THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, EMPLOYEE TRAINING, AND HUGE LACK OF EDUCATED IN THE FIELD THEY ARE EMPLOYED SERVICE I have ever received. This is how a 91 year old sweet, loving and compassionate lady that has been fiercely independent with a family that deeply loves and cares for her was treated. Where is the human side of this business that is supposed to care and specialize in these situations? I did not get that from 4 out of 4 ADT employees.

We are very pleased with the excellent service ADT has provided! Thankfully, our service has not involved an actual intrusion, but rather with our mistaken alarms - ( ie. Accidentally causing the key fob to be pressed while inside a pocket...) However, it is very reassuring that ADT responds within a few seconds... The technician was very friendly, but it took a long time and it finished very late. I am not at my best after 8 pm and so I may have missed some things. Another tech is coming in a couple of weeks to see if we still could get cellular service. I am not sure if we need anything else. I am still not quite clear on whether we are "active" or not. I'm not sure about the billing since the tech did not leave a list attached to contract. All the reps I spoke to last week were very helpful. And I just found out as a member of USAA we get an additional discount which I'm looking forward to discussing. I am hopeful it will all work out and not have false alarms!

We had Brinks and had it set up after someone was in the house. Our child who was a baby back then, is now 34. So we've been with them for at least 32 years. Some years ago, they gave us all new equipment. We have three pads in our big house. They imported some people from Canada to work on it which took hours. Two guys were working on the wiring for the whole thing. But that was no charge for us.
Once, the alarm went off at 3:00 AM so I got up and turned it off. Someone called and I asked her to stay with me on the phone. Then, I went looking around the first floor and didn't see anybody but just something that fell off. I called the company the next day and said that it was a motion in the hallway. Also, there was a time before our recent experience with them, when I came in from the back door. I may have set something down and it took a minute and 14 seconds for them to respond. It was just a tiny beep but I thought I'd better wait for the phone call. It just seems longer when I'm waiting for their response. But I'm all in all satisfied and I recommend ADT.

My husband's a New Yorker, so he's very security conscious and he thinks fiber tin locks on the door might not be enough. We also worked a lot and were away from home a lot so he wanted to have the security in the house in case we weren't home. And possibly, even if we were. Years ago, we started out with another company, then, ADT bought them out. We have the fire alarm, the gas protection, the carbon monoxide, and the doors and the windows. We have all the security features and we have a key hid. A couple of times, when the grandkids came in, we couldn't remember the security code. But we live in town so the police were here in no time, flat, and we felt good about that.
ADT's reps were also polite. We have three doors and one time, our side door alarm wouldn't set because the side door contact didn't seem to be working. They came out, went right to work and did what they needed to do. They replaced that contact and were efficient. They got us back up and running and we were happy. Other than that, we appreciate the monitoring that they do and the phone calls that they make any time the alarm goes off. I would like the price to be lower, though. We got security in 1994 so, we've had it for a long time but the price consistently keeps increasing. Still, we want their service bad enough that we'd continue paying their price. We haven't shopped anywhere or looked at another company with a lesser price. ADT's comparable with other companies and we would recommend them.

Notified alarm was triggered. Checked out and no entry. Had tech change batteries. Alarm continues to trigger in error. Asked for stationed be ignored. Still getting calls. Could be bad sensor but not able to have it repaired at this time. Perhaps tech should have tested when replacing batteries. Need to do a better job noting ignore station.

I contacted ADT for info on security. The intake reps Megan ** and David were very helpful. They transferred me to Jacksonville FL for so called security specialist aka hood specialist. Solomon basically told me Comcast pricing was better. Didn't bother to give me details on ADT products. I called back and got Beth who also sucked. Got mad because I wanted to speak to management and disconnected my call. I called back a 3rd time and got Telethia who also sucked. Refused a Supervisor and a corporate address and didn't give any basic details on the ADT Pulse Service but yet wanted to set an appointment to have a rep come out for a quote. They are extremely GHETTO in the Jacksonville FL call center lacking interpersonal skills no customer service skill just HOOD as if they are paying me to have the service. Needless to say I will NOT be getting the service if they can't handle a phone call how on earth can they protect my home!
Shameful ADT should stop getting cheap labor for it's costing them sales. I see why Solomon pushed me into Comcast doors. He wishes he worked there but his sales drive lacks so they probably would not hire him. 2 thumbs down. I hope Corporate is happy losing money to its competitors thanks to the sales team in FL...I am truly embarrassed for ADT to have such poor service. I can only imagine how the ball drops if someone breaks into your home since handling a call appears to be extremely challenging for the idiots allowed to answer their phone. TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN FROM ADT OTHERWISE YOU WILL REGRET IT. They cant protect your home. If customer service to get the system sucks I can only imagine the headache after getting the service. We had another company and we asked our neighbors about ADT and they said that they were very happy with them and we weren't happy with the other company. We've been with ADT for years and we're very happy. We haven't had any break-ins and we have it on our rentals house right next door also. There were times when I go next-door to do projects and when I'm carrying stuff in and I don't get to the alarm quick enough and it goes off. I'm always worried what's going to happen, but when we call, we tell them what happened and they ask for the password. Once they get that, then they're fine. I like that feedback immediately so that's good. But I can always use more signs if ADT wants to send us more.
I have recommended them to relatives and friends. I told them our experiences and how accessible ADT always is. Sometimes, we have to take long vacations to be with our grandchildren and we always call them and let them know that, but we have a neighbor who knows our passwords. ADT has never failed and they've done a very good job with what we've asked them to do. I feel very safe when we leave to go on vacation that nothing is going to happen without us being made aware of it right away.

The technician (Todd/Christopher **) that installed our system was proficient, professional, and caring. He worked diligently to get our system installed so that we could rest easier after our recent break-in. I was impressed at how quickly ADT responded to our request to have a security system installed. We called on Saturday and a technician arrived on Monday to complete the task. We love having ADT security even though we don't use it much. When we moved to the country we were broken into right away and we got ADT immediately after. We joked it was like Fort Knox. We upgraded several other areas to better security as well. We also have someone come to the house every day we are gone. But we are retired so that doesn't happen often.

I would most definitely recommend ADT security service to anyone. I live in NJ and Florida. My local plumber and the local police department look over my NJ property when I am away. We have two motion detectors and three open window detectors from ADT and I like all the features. About three weeks ago, the siren went off and ADT called us. Their rep was very good. My wife told her not to call the police ‘cause we were only a few minutes away from home. We were off in our car and we slammed on the brakes, turned around, and came back home and disabled the alarm. We couldn’t figure out what tripped the alarm. We were in a hurry leaving and my wife was still in the living room coming towards the back door of the connecting garage door to the house. I was there standing by the back door and she was talking to me but she was within the range of the motion detector and I hit the go button and it might’ve picked her up.
However, we got a mail yesterday from the local police department. It isn’t a bill yet because they’d give us two mess-ups free and then they started billing us $50 for each event where that kind of thing happens. Apparently, they were called and we had specifically tried to avoid that by asking the rep not to call the police ‘cause we’re going to take care of it and indeed we did. But overall, the service of ADT is very satisfactory.

I had Protect America and they wouldn't keep an equipment up. And every time they came, it cost me. So I decided to switch. I used to be a police officer, so I wanted and needed an alarm to kind of watch around my house. ADT's equipment out there, the monthly rate, as well as their price were right, and in comparison with other companies, they were the best. I got the control panel, three doors, the ADT post, and a camera. I have a motion detector too, which was what I needed to protect my home. And when I'm away, the camera gives me a view of my house and how everything is going. I would like to have another camera but I couldn't afford it.
I love my service and I don't have a problem with it. I've got alarms went off when I wasn't here and the police came. My local police knew how to get me in the house, plus, I've got a key and they knew how to get the man to come in and check. I could also watch them when they were there checking. Thankfully I haven't had to have them for anything else, just an alarm going off. ADT's technicians that came out to do things, if something was wrong with my system, have been excellent. My internet here is Verizon and it's weak. I have to run my system through that and when I was having a lot problems, ADT's tech came out and boosted it, so it's better now. Everyone of ADT's reps have been excellent, too, in their manner and in explaining everything that I needed explained. They were pretty quick and it didn't take them two weeks to send help and take care of any problems that I've had.
I recommended them to several people and told them that with ADT, I don't worry about my home when I'm away. I know that they are dependable and so far, they've done me great. Their price could be a little cheaper, though. I'm retired and on a fixed income. So if there was some way that they could lower some of their prices, especially for a customer that has been with them for years, like a senior discount or something, it would help.

Wanted to know, the reason, why I was not contacted, when my alarm went off. I was given the explanation as to why. The alarm has to be going off for a specific length of time. My alarm event did not fit that criteria, at that time, I was told by the Representative.

I have been pleased with ADT since inception. I do wish I could get a senior discount. I have read that home security systems now offer discounts for those 55+. I am 65. The main thing we watch at home is the movement of fan blades when alarm system is on, so we try to stop the movement before exiting.

Strange events and alarm going off: All of my connections were checked and all batteries checked. He did a wonderful job. Politely and efficiently. I was very happy with the results of the visit. I have used ADT in a house I owned prior to this one and a robber was scared off by the system. He did attempt to break into a window he thought was opened but it was alarmed. I will only use ADT. They are professional, established and all the latest technology. The price is reasonable and I can be in my house or away with total peace of mind.

With all the sensors on windows and doors, I feel safer than I used to. The support has been really good. Construction in my home set off some alarms, and the company was really helpful, including suspending one sensor for a while. The firemen were nice about the incident, saying, "Better safe than sorry."

All of my neighbors around here seem to have ADT. So, I assumed they must be pretty good. My service package with them has most of the motion sensor, and I have all the windows and all the doors with sensors. The team that installed the equipment explained everything, and showed me what they were going to do and where they were going to put them. So far, ADT's service has been great. One time, the control box was beeping. So we had a technician come out and he fixed it. He was very good and answered any questions I had. He also filled me on the system and made sure that I knew how to work it. I'd highly recommend ADT.

ADT is much higher priced than every other security in our area. But I had ADT for 20 plus years and I haven't changed that. I had Brink's to start with and then Brink's changed to ADT so we are just keeping it. Even if it's a little high since we got the system for so long we got a little lower rate. I would recommend them to anybody. So far I'm happy except with the rate.

I have been a customer since 2002. I am a retired Police Officer and believe everyone should have alarms on their homes. At my current home I've been with ADT since 2003. I always speak highly of ADT because of your service and standards. My alarm had never malfunctioned since 2003. A few months ago my kitchen motion set off a false alarm in the middle of the night. About a month a go the same kitchen motion set off a false alarm in the afternoon while it was armed and I was home in the shower.
After these 2 false alarms I knew there must be something wrong with the kitchen motion sensor. I called your customer service Dept to request that a technician be sent out to fix this problem. They told me that they would have to charge me for that. I was shocked to hear that you would charge your customer to come out and fix your alarm equipment. I am paying a monthly fee to have a monitoring service and an alarm system that works properly. I called your Loyalty department and they apologized for what the Customer Service Dept. told me and scheduled the service for me at no charge. I appreciate that, but this is not how it should be. You should fix your equipment at no charge to your customers. It's sad that many companies in America have resorted to this tactic. However it ultimately reflects poorly on the company.

Lately been having trouble with auto deduction after over six years of doing it. ADT can't figure out problem, now I'm behind in a payment. Keep saying they didn't get November's payment. My credit union show that they did. Now it January and they didn't take it out on the first again.

ADT has good customer service and will accommodate to get their customers the right price for an alarm system. They are willing to work with their customers to keep the customers satisfied. I would recommend ADT to a friend. Whenever I had a problem with the alarm system they were there to fix the solution at free of charge.

Called customer service to find out what was needed to be done, at first customer service said I needed a tech. to come out and disconnect window sensors @ $100.00 for the first 30 mins. & $25.00 for every additional 15 mins. (called twice) Said I would cancel and get a different security company. Later ADT customer retention called and said to cut wires to sensors and install windows & patio door, and they would install new wireless alarm system. Thank you very much. (Customer for 23 years).

There appear to be a lot more options out there now for home security at much less cost. As we have paid top dollar for years to ADT, including installation, think it might be to your advantage to give us a reduction in the monthly fee as long standing very little trouble customers.

I had my service installed a month ago, and I had the nicest installer his name was David **. He installed my system and stayed here until me and my husband learned how to use it. It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks but he was very patient with us, which let me know I did the right thing when I picked ADT. I was recently hospitalized and my husband stayed at the Hospital a lot. It was nice to know my house was safely protected. Thanks ADT!!!

I'm very pleased with ADT services and their prompt response whenever I have an issue. Recently we had an issue with our system backup battery. When I called ADT and they offered a complimentary one. I got the replacement battery within a week as I was promised. Also whenever I have any issues configuring my system I called ADT and I get the right answer by the way. I’ve always had good experience with ADT. I've had them for many, many years and all their customer service agents have been very courteous and very professional. Their equipment works good. The only times the alarm goes off is when I forget to deactivate it when I open the door. So I had no attempted break-ins or anything like that. I got the glass breakage. It alarmed and everything has been great. If you don’t have an alarm system, get an ADT.

Spoke to a sales rep by phone on specifics, when tech arrived, installer was told to install less of what I agreed to. Called the salesperson and argued to get what I was told was coming, once that was straightened out, a month later I’m told they put me on a trial for the camera app not much more a month, but was lead to believe it was included in the price when I specifically asked for this. Seems like a bait and switch. Of course the telephone people say they don’t know anything about this and if I want to cancel due to being misrepresented by the salesperson, I have to pay a termination fee. Honesty is not one of ADT's qualities. Not recommended.

I had ADT for about 20 years but I had to let them go for a year when there was flood and my house was out but I picked them back out. it’s a good service. When I call and have a question, everybody is wonderful. The guy that came out to do the installation was great too. He told me when he would be here and he came in on time. He came in, told me what he’s going to do and went on and did it. If you want somebody good and reasonable, go to ADT!

I have the home burglary monitoring with ADT and I am very satisfied with it. I got the system as a preventative measure and when I signed up, their sales representative was very nice. Their customer service reps were very knowledgeable as well. I feel very safe having ADT. I'm a senior citizen and I set the system at night then I don't have to worry about somebody coming or breaking in during the night while I'm sleeping. Plus, I'm safer when I leave. One time, one of the doors that was monitored wasn't shut completely. So, it set when I left, but after a little bit it triggered. It was a door to the garage and I figured that when I closed the door, it caused the suction to kind of move. All in all, I'm happy with ADT so far and I'd recommend them. They've been very good to me.

During the hurricane my alarm was off for 5 days. When I finally got power I couldn't set the alarm because the battery light was on. Talked to ADT and was told it would be back on very soon as it had to charge. And it was!!

I have not had my ADT Security System very long, but so far it's done exactly what I hoped for. I was out of town for three weeks around Christmas and because we have had a lot of break-ins in my community I worried about leaving. My mistakenly set the alarm while I was in the back room. I moved and the alarm went off. I cleared it at the panel. A call came in from ADT. She asked for my passcode. I did not remember it. She asked pertinent questions, which allowed her to know I was the homeowner. I was impressed with her questioning about our location and me.

When I built my home 17 years ago, we were able to pre-wire it for an ADT Security System. This system worked well for several years until I was swept away with a door-to-door salesman selling a "whizbango" security system. I was wowed by the video motion sensors and other "amazing" features. However, ever since installing the new system with a new vendor, in addition to having the monitoring service sold four times over roughly 7 years, the system had many failures. It seemed I had repairmen in my home all the time.
Finally, when the smoke detectors started to fail, I realized that the reliability of this system was a joke! Thinking back to how well the original ADT system had worked, I looked up the number of my local ADT representative and scheduled a meeting. Needless to say, I had all of the previous system removed and all of the previous ADT system reactivated, with much of it needing to be updated to current technology. Now, roughly six months in with my ADT system, I have had no problems of any kind, with everything working as it should. I am very happy with my ADT system and the reliability of it.

We have found ADT a very reliable, customer friendly security system. We are looking for security cameras to place outside our front door and in our backyard to monitor who is ringing the doorbell or who is damaging our property around our house to assist the police department to find the people responsible for these actions. The Sales Rep. was very professional and polite, he did not try to sell me more than I needed. He scheduled an appointment for the installer in the next day. The installer arrived on time and completed his work quickly. He showed me how to program the system and also installed the app on my smartphone. ADT contacted me to check out if the system was what I required and made sure that we knew the procedures on the system. I would recommend ADT to anyone that needed a security system.

The glass breakage alarms were so sensitive that my loud sneeze set them off resulting in an immediate call from ADT. The service tech (Scott?) came and reset them to be a little less sensitive. He also walked me through all procedures needed to use Ring and a surveillance camera. I am now 1400 miles away and feel comfortable knowing all is well.

I called on 3 separate occasions for the exact same billing issue and nothing on my account was adjusted. Not once was I told that the credit would appear on my next billing cycle, but each time I was assured it would be handle promptly. A very simple explanation would have served better than telling me the matter would be attended to promptly. Do your reps not know policy and procedure? Apparently, they do not.

ADT was and is responsive - with false alarms, testing and responsiveness to upgrade adding cellular adapter when they changed systems (unknowing shut down of system here) for a fair price ($100 and small income ease to bill). I now would like to see a deal on outside camera upgrade now that I have the cellular in place! As a senior it would mean a lot to have that discounted!

When my backup battery died, ADT replaced it. We had a panel that was so old ADT techs did not have documentation. ADT replaced my panel. Other than that, we have not had to contact ADT because everything works fine since 1998.

My experience with ADT has been pretty simple. I turn the system on, and it works as promised. I post a number of ADT signs and stickers around our locaton to let anyone who might think about breaking in know we are protected, and we have had no break in here. ADT has good customer service and tech support to give infomation and answer questions. The few times that the alarm has gone off was when I accidentally set it off! I'm happy with the experience.

We have been satisfied with system. However it has been ten years + since it was installed. We have a bunch of extra coverage and it seems like ADT would review equipment to see that it was functioning properly. On the few occasions we have had false alarms response was satisfactory and it was old sensors that gave out. A preemptive maintenance check would have saved us all a little inconvenience.

Did not realize that payments were being taken without my knowledge. When installer came I emphasized that Mr. ** was in a nursing home and I would need statements sent regarding payments. He called someone and said it was not the policy of the company, but believe it could be done. However, Nov/Dec payments were taken and I did not notice it until time to make a payment at the nursing home and account was short. You had already taken $808.12 out of account. Upon calling ADT I got nowhere with each representative that I spoke to. Bottom line account has been closed so I am waiting for statement in regards to February payment. Thank you.

I have had the best service with ADT. I feel very safe and I trust ADT, they are always there when I need any help. I needed a new battery for my system and they walked me through the process of changing it. To me I couldn't do without my security system anymore. I am glad to have ADT.

After receiving a call, I was told of a device with a weak battery! I purchased the battery I was told was needed, but could not get the device off the wall. I agreed to the $25.00 fee to have the technician come to replace the battery. He had trouble getting the unit down too. The batteries needed was two “AA” not the kind I was told was needed (that was very expensive). I was not charged for his visit.

I appreciate and feel safe having ADT as my security company. Hopefully your prices don't keep increasing as I'm a senior citizen and am watching every cent I spend. The ADT Pulse system was installed in my new home in 2016. I have the same system in 2 other homes I own and have used ADT for years with no problems. For the first 3 months after installation in the new home, the system would go "stupid" at times. During this period you could open doors, and/or walk around the house and the system would not recognize that an alarm should be sounded. However, since ADT repaired this initial installation problem (June-2016), I have had absolutely ZERO problems with the system since. It has worked during power outages, storms, ice and snow with no problems whatsoever. Great job, ADT!!

I have used ADT since 2005 and have always been happy with the kindness of representatives, quick response to needs and when I needed a new battery it was sent at no cost to me! I have recommended ADT to my friends who are also happy with the service. I will not be switching companies.

After all the billing issues & horrendous customer service, hopefully we have our account as it should be. As a customer service manager with one of the biggest wireless carriers I can say your customer service needs vast improvements... I was hung up on as well as lied to over and over. I have since spoken with a department that seems to care, unlike all those prior agents.

The company delivers on it promises of providing an extra layer of security. Like the price I was able to negotiate with them. Have an old (ancient) hard wired system. Cheaper to leave it in place and reduce my monthly rate than do a replacement.

The technician that installed the equipment was very knowledgeable about the system and how it works. He explained the different plans and the pros and cons for each and the costs allowing us to pick the best for us. After installing the equipment he went through different scenarios and the corrective actions for each. I am very pleased with the system.

ADT is the only one that could keep alarm system up. We have problems with lighting burning out motherboard. This happen about 5 times. Have not had any more problems after ADT took over. Their service is quick if you have problems.

I can actually sleep knowing I have the ADT system. My house was robbed and was a very scary experience for me. I could not sleep for days. I got the ADT system and feel comfortable enough to sleep. I always take my remote to bed where I know all I have to do is push a button.

ADT has done a fine job for me in every way! The installation was completed in a timely manner and has word well. The only suggestion I have is to install an alarm that one with poor hearing can hear.

Great service. Went in garage instead of front door and set alarm off. I think that if the alarm goes off from any other door or windows other than the front door just call the Police not the house phone.

I chose ADT to provide my home security service because of reputation. I’m totally satisfied with their products and service. My system was installed quickly and the installer was very professional in explaining my options for choosing the proper equipment. After the system was in place, he walked me through complete operation and made sure that I understood completely how to use the it. I hired ADT to protect my vacation home in 2009 and was pleased with their attention to detail. More recently I became concerned about unsavory people who had moved into my permanent home area and decided to add ADT to this house. The installer was extremely careful and chose to add more protection that has made me feel very secure.

I have never had a problem with ADT. They are always very courteous & helpful if I have to call them for anything. When my battery has gone out, they send me a new one free of charge that I can change out myself. I would definitely recommend them to friends.

Customer Service is outstanding; any issues that we have had get dealt with quickly and completely... never feel rushed during the call and they go out of the way to make sure that you are satisfied at the end of the call.

I am happy with my alarm system. Glad I have never had to use it in any other way except to set the alarm and turn off the alarm. ADT has updated my units. They were 17 years old. The only thing I worry about is the window alarms as to if they are still working. ADT does a great job.

ADT is always helpful to resolve technical issues that my pop up from time to time. Great customer service. Most recent request was to get help in replacing batteries in the units. Also provided the code numbers for individual units/sensors in each room.

I have had ADT for over 10 years now and have been very satisfied with alarm response and service. A year ago one of the door sensors malfunctioned and we had several false alarms. The service technician diagnosed the problem and made repairs at no cost. I was grateful and surprised on a 10 year old system. Response operators are always friendly and courteous. Great company!

I like the time I talked to them about changing batteries in my sensors. She took time to explain where I could get batteries. She asked if I had any more questions. She checked my information to see if all things was filled out right and checked to see if my contacts was up to date.

If you're looking for an alarm company to make you feel secure this is the way to go! Anytime our alarm has gone off they are immediately calling in to make sure we are okay. Someone broke into our house through a window that was hidden behind foliage. We were not home. When they walked into the hallway, the alarm went off. This was a Sunday afternoon. ADT immediately called us and we told them to call the police. We also called a friend who lived nearby and has a key to our house. We asked him to go to our house. He went to the house and when he unlocked and walked into the house with the police, the alarm went off again. ADT called again. We were very happy with ADT's rapid response.

I called for an upgrade which was advertised on tv for $49.00. My upgrade was $105.00 and less equipment than shower on t.v. The serviceman very professional courteous. He explained the new system I would liked paper directions for reference.

ADT has set my mind at ease for years. My house was broken into a couple of years ago and never did I think I needed security. I called ADT that evening and they were there the next day, I have never felt more secure having ADT security in my home. They notify you immediately when any adverse action happens on your property.

I’ve had ADT for almost 3 years now and I am very satisfied with the service and security, I would highly recommend ADT to my friends and family to keep their home safe and secured in the event of fire or break in. I also had a security camera installed inside so I can keep an eye on my dogs while we are out. Also have fire and motion detector. Everything works well. No problems.

I have had ADT since 1985 (when Sears owned the company). They have always provided me with great professional service. Their Techs are the best. They determine what needs to be done to fix my problem and then they do it! They never leave my house until they are sure I fully understand everything. No question I ask is ever “too dumb”. From my initial phone call for service until the tech leaves I am treated with compassion, care and professionalism.

My wireless system does the job for me with complete peace of mind that nobody can tamper. Easy to activate and confident that any disturbance is monitored by a dedicated agent. Long time customer of 9 years with ADT Security, I work with ADT in the transferring of service from home residence to an apartment residence. I was informed that I would have discontinue the service at my old residence and install a new service at my new residence. After paying a new installation fee of $105.00 on 11/30/17, I was also informed that the termination fee of $639.00 would be waived since there was no service termination. There was mixed up on ADT with the installing of my service at the new residence which a sales consultant had to come out and start the whole process over again.
I also received a letter from ADT Security Services stating the they cancelled my account. As a result I would be charged $691.59, and the amount would be debited from my bank account. I called the representative on 1/8/2018 and was informed to disregard this letter since I'm having a new system installed on 1/30/2018. My account was debited $637.56 (putting in a negative balance and incurring bank charges), called again on 1/17/2018 and was informed that this was a normal process by ADT and would have to call back on 2/3/2018 after the new installation has been completed. Totally untrustworthy company.

A neighbor who was watching my house and pets while I was on vacation set off the alarm as she entered. ADT called me while I was driving. I was fairly certain that it was my neighbor but couldn't call since I was driving. They were kind enough to call my neighbor (my alternate emergency contact) and verify that it was her.

I feel much safer in my home since having the security system installed in my home after my husband passed away. For months I wasn’t able to sleep at nights and now I can. The system was rather pricey but I guess peace is mind doesn’t come cheap. I consider it a good investment.

Works nicely and we feel safer in our home! Sleep better at night, less worries about break in’s. Children feel safer when home alone, and we feel Better about them if they're home alone and still have a safe eye on them as well as help is close by if needed‼️
