What is ReflexMD?

ReflexMD is an online telehealth provider that provides consultations and prescriptions for weight loss medications — semaglutide and tirzepatide —  to people in the United States with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 and up. There are restrictions on patients with a BMI under 30 or who have certain health conditions.

According to the website, ReflexMD was born out of the pandemic when in-person practitioner visits became more inconvenient and not safe and the company wanted to develop a fix “that leverages technology to connect customers and doctors directly.”

The company offers a three-step prescription process, which it claims relies on cutting-edge technology along with clinical expertise to “dramatically shorten” the time needed to get a prescription.

How does ReflexMD work?

To take part in ReflexMD, the first step is to answer a series of questions as part of a health survey. The survey will ask you questions such as: “What was your gender at birth?” and “How tall are you?” It will then ask you about your weight and what your weight loss goal is. Next it asks for personal information like your birthday, email address and if you want to sign up for secure text notifications.

It will then ask what goals you are looking to accomplish (options include: lose weight, improve general health, look better, improve confidence, increase energy, better sex) and it will ask you what you have tried in the past to reach these goals (e.g., exercise, dieting, intermittent fasting, etc.).

ReflexMD will then offer you a customized prescription plan. The plan includes a medical consultation, prescription, one month's supply of semaglutide or tirzepatide medication and free express shipping.

You also need to upload a full body photo and provide identity verification before proceeding.

After completing the medical quiz and making the payment, a U.S.-based medical team will then review your answers and determine if you are eligible for medication and which is best for you. You may then set up a virtual consultation. The company connects you — via a secure platform — with a licensed medical practitioner with whom you can discuss your health concerns. In terms of privacy, ReflexMD promises that a patient’s medical data and order history will only be viewed by a medical team and prescribers.

After your evaluation, if you are eligible for treatment, the medical team will prescribe “the most suitable” medication. ReflexMD says it will prioritize the use of “cost-effective generic alternatives whenever possible.” However, the company only offers two medications at the present time: semaglutide and tirzepatide.

If the team determines a person is ineligible for weight loss medication, they will receive a refund. Reasons you may be found ineligible for treatment include: your BMI is lower than 30 or you have certain comorbidities, a spokesperson for the company said.

The company says it will ship the medicine directly to your home and claims this action will do away with the need for “time-consuming” pharmacy visits. Participants may receive medications in the mail monthly, according to the ReflexMD website. The company uses plain packaging, so there is no visible branding or identifying labels.

    Reviewed March 18, 2026

I used ReflexMD semaglutide compounded prescription from April to December 2025. I lost about 30 pounds (13%) of my body weight during that period without any serious side effects. Most of that loss came prior to October. The compounded medication was changed in September. The medication received in September did not produce any weight loss for the next 3 months. I found that frustrating and canceled further prescriptions. I would offer this advice. Avoid the compounded medication and use only medication produced by the manufacturer.

    Billing

    Reviewed Oct. 26, 2025

This product has caused significant chronic health issues. I've canceled several times and yet they continue to bill my credit card 1500 every few months. Looks like I will need to retain an attorney to make them pay for their criminal negligence and fraud.
