I am extremely disappointed in this company. I signed up for the month to month and paid more instead of the subscription. I understood that if I did not fill out the request for a refill each month, I would not be billed. Well, I was wrong. They will bill you no matter what. Also, the last two months, I requested to reduce my dosage to get on maintenance since I had reached my weight goal and they refused. The doctor said I needed to continue the same dosage for another month. I am sure to keep me paying my monthly fee. Even though I told her I was experiencing dehydration regularly. So, they did not change my dosage. Well, I lost more weight than I wanted and continued to not feel good. I guess the lesson here is make sure you contact them and cancel, regardless of the plan you choose with them. I'm sure there are better companies out there that provide the same service and do not push the drugs without concern for the patient's symptoms.

They sent the wrong dose at the wrong time. Packed poorly so the “refrigerated” package was actually hot upon arrival. It’s 94 degrees in the south this week. No accountability and impossible to talk to a human or get a new vial sent. The pharmacies listed on their website are not the pharmacy that compounded and sent my vial. Literally nothing has been done correctly. I’ve been using HERS and switched due to cost. I had no issues like this with HERS. Will switch back immediately.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I went with them because even though they cost slightly more than others, they were supposed to be honest and not raise the rates. The amount they charged my card doubled. I emailed to cancel. They stopped sending the medication but kept charging my card. I called to cancel, thought it was done, then got a call back saying they needed to speak to my partner, who they had already spoken to, to confirm. This has been such a costly hassle! The one bright spot is that the medication does work.

I cancelled my account, wrote 10 emails, posted communications on their portal and called several times asking them not to rebill my account since the product did not work for me. They charged my card anyway, and when I called, they became hostile and said they could not cancel and were keeping my money. When I said I would be calling the police, they hung up on me and kept the charge on my account. I would stay far away from this company. The customer service reps they hire do not care about people.

Difficulties making contact with providers for necessary appointment, in queue for 15+ minutes, then would be disconnected.. this happened several times. Medvi charged my account multiple times while failing to provide the services I paid for.
● I was charged multiple payments of $299.
● No medication was ever shipped or received.
● No treatment was provided.
● I was unable to complete the required process despite multiple attempts.
● I received inadequate support and delayed communication regarding this matter.
Charging a patient repeatedly without delivering medication or treatment raises serious concerns regarding billing practices and failure to render services.

I started with them a month ago. I was charged twice for a medication and when I called they refunded the money, but then I never received the medication and missed my dose. When I called all they could do is create an escalation ticket. When I requested to speak with a manager they were all busy…. Surprise…. So now I’m out $399, missed my weekly dose, got no resolution, but they are sorry for the inconvenience 👍. I’ll be canceling my subscription and getting my money back. DO NOT GO THROUGH MEDVI FOR ANYTHING! Their company is a train wreck.

Horrible service. Stay away. Sent wrong medication after being with them for 6 months. Was told accident but didn't take charge off. When received correct they changed compounders and have had severe nausea ever since. I elected not to refill and was still charged, even though no medication sent, due to being on "subscription". MEDVi caused multiple issues and will not fix them.

I paused my subscription and was later charged $399 for an automatic renewal that I did not intend to continue. I immediately requested a refund, but despite multiple emails, I only received the same generic policy response and no individualized review. I was paying $299 a month for Semaglutide and then was charged an additional $299 a month from Open Loop Healthcare which Medvi uses. I was never told I would be charged these additional fees. Updated on 06/27/2026: The customer service representative contacted me and promised to resolve the issue and refund my $400 for the medication that was never sent. I will update you if the refund is complete.
Original Review: I had a horrible experience with online telehealth clinic. I saw their ad for Tirzepatide for weight loss. I started corresponding with the company and I agreed on getting one month supply for around $145 and I specifically clarified vis email and during a phone call with their customer service that I don’t want to bu put on a monthly plan until I try the product and make sure it works fine for my body, First of all the medication didn’t do nothing on the I didn’t lose one pound during the month I used the injection. Moreover, It made me very lethargic and out of energy so I decided I am not ordering this thing again.
Surprisingly next month and despite me request not to be put on a monthly plan my account was deducted for $400 bucks (which is double the advertised price) without my permission and when I tried to contact Medvi customer service they were very hostile, unprofessional and she refused to offer any solutions or even cancel my subscription. They charge me for $400 and didn’t even send the medication !!!! So I was charged for nothing. I tried to call them to resolve this matter with no response whatsoever. So my whole experience was a nightmare, this company is a scam. Watch out and be very careful, I don’t recommend dealing with them at all.

My experience with MEDVi, so everyone is aware. I ordered a 3-month weight loss medication package and received deliveries in March and April 2026. However, I never received the May shipment. At the time, I was reassessing whether the medication was beneficial for me, so I did not follow up on the missing delivery. On June 10, 2026, I received a debit alert showing I had been charged for another 3-month billing cycle (June–September 2026). I immediately contacted customer service to cancel, as I no longer needed the service.
The first representative told me the new billing cycle had been canceled and encouraged me to order the final medication shipment from the package I had already paid for in March, which I did. However, when I logged into my account after the call, I noticed it still showed as active until September 2, 2026. I called back and spoke with another representative, who told me he could only cancel the last two months of the subscription but could not cancel the new 3-month billing cycle that had just been charged, despite the fact that I had not used the service. I requested to speak with a manager, but instead of being transferred, a support ticket was created and I was told someone would contact me. Unfortunately, the follow-up was not helpful in any way, and my concerns remained unresolved. Based on my experience, I found the company’s billing and cancellation practices extremely frustrating and concerning.

I chose MEDVi after researching numerous GLP-1 providers. The medication was effective, and over approximately 8 months I lost 25 pounds. For that, I am grateful. Unfortunately, my experience changed when the formulation of my medication was changed without my knowledge. After months of using the same compounded medication without issue, I had an adverse reaction to a new vial. During a telehealth visit, I was instructed by a provider to stop using the medication and dispose of the vial, and I was told a replacement would be sent. Because I trusted the provider and the company, I followed those instructions. It never occurred to me to ask whether I would later be responsible for the cost of medication I had been medically advised not to use. The medication worked, but the way this situation was handled ultimately led me to seek treatment elsewhere.
For anyone considering MEDVi, I encourage you to ask detailed questions before starting treatment:
• Will you be notified if your medication formulation changes?• What happens if you have an adverse reaction?
• If a provider instructs you to dispose of a medication, are you still responsible for the cost?
• How are disputes regarding provider instructions handled?
One final consideration is cost. While MEDVi does not charge a monthly membership fee, it was one of the more expensive options I found. Over the course of treatment, I invested more than $3,000 in my care. I would encourage prospective patients to compare providers carefully and evaluate not only pricing, but also policies, communication, and customer support. My intention is not to discourage anyone from using MEDVi, but to help others make a fully informed decision.

Rethink your decision. I have been a customer since November and let’s be honest, this stuff is not cheap. My meds was shipped on Friday and was supposed to receive on Saturday, but wasn’t delivered until Monday. The ice pack and meds was hot. I put a thermometer on the ice pack and the temperature registered at 82 degrees. Called immediately on Monday when received and didn’t get response until Wednesday, which is their “approved policy timeframe”. Seems keeping medication cold is not necessary even though must be stored in refrigerator. They used the term “temporary warm” is totally acceptable and told me to use the meds. The ice pack and meds was not “temporary warm” (their way to justify not rectifying the situation), it was hot. When we pay the money we do, feel the meds should be 100% viable with no questions. I do not think it is safe to take the meds and not worth risking it. Just love wasting money. Beware everyone.

I had a very frustrating experience with Medvi. I was led to believe this was not a subscription, but I was charged every month afterward. When I tried to resolve the issue and request a refund, I was told refunds would not be provided. The lack of clarity around recurring billing and the refusal to refund charges made the experience feel misleading and unfair. Customers should be clearly informed upfront if they are enrolling in a monthly subscription, how much they will be charged, and exactly how cancellation and refunds work. I would not recommend Medvi to anyone who wants transparent billing or responsive customer support. Also they charge you more each month without notice. The medication does not work at all. They have also received a warning letter from the FDA **.

Charged $300 for a vial of Semaglutide. 1st order arrived WARM with melted ice pack (took 4 days to arrive, instead of overnight). Contacted company as medication was unsafe. Initially they refused to assist with the matter. After countless emails having to dispute with them, they finally agreed to send a “replacement”. The “replacement” I received was NOT SEALED and damaged!! The top of the vial was very loose and barely connected to the bottle. It was very apparent the “replacement” sent was a defective bottle that was not otherwise salable. I began my journey with Medvi, hoping to gain control over my hunger and food cravings through their GLP-1 medication. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. From the start, the medication did not curb my hunger or reduce the constant noise of food thoughts. After giving it a fair chance, I decided to cancel my subscription. However, to my dismay, Medvi continued to charge my card despite my cancellation.
Each time I reached out to their customer service for a refund, I was met with denial. They acknowledged that they hadn't sent any medication and confirmed that I was no longer enrolled in the program, yet they still refused to refund my money. This lack of accountability and transparency is incredibly concerning. In my opinion, the medication simply does not work, and the potential for continued charges after cancellation is alarming. My advice? Run far away from this company. Save yourself the headache and frustration, as it seems they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction.

I initially had a good experience with MEDVi and the semaglutide injections my first round (12 weeks). The issue was with my 2nd order. I called in the order, asking for the same 12-week supply and dosage. I was sent 3 bottles of the semaglutide that had slightly different dosage amounts. So, I began with bottle #1 and within 12 hours of taking it on 5/3/26, I became severely ill. I get hormonal migraines (which I shared in my phone call when ordering it) and got one that didn't go away for 2+ days. I was also vomiting everything I'd eaten prior to taking the medication and couldn't even keep water down for nearly 48 hours. I had the chills, but no fever luckily. If it had gotten any worse, my husband was going to take me to the ER. I had to call out of work for 2 days because I was so sick.
On 5/5/26, I called the MEDVi assistance line, asking to speak to the medical team. The person from the answering service assured me that they'd relate my message and call me within 48 hours, after taking down my symptoms/reason for calling. On 5/8/26, almost 72 hours later, I called again because I had received no call/text back from MEDVi. Another person from their answering service then 'escalated' my ticket and told me that the medical team doesn't call on weekends, saying to expect a call on Monday (5/11/26). Well, by the weekend I was feeling a bit better, could eat light foods. I went out with my husband on a short hike on Sunday, 5/10/26 (Mother's Day) -later finding a missed call and text from the medical team. I responded to their text once back in service.
The next 3 weeks were spent calling to get feedback from my MEDVi provider, as I was told that they may guide me through a change my dosage (injection) amount. In the meantime, I had stopped taking the semaglutide, as I was advised to do so from two people who identified via phone as nursing/medical team staff. Each time I spoke with someone identifying with this title, they would bring up my case and add more notes -BUT - each time I was also told that no one had escalated my case to the provider. My final phone conversation was on 5/29/26 with a staff member who assured me they would get my case in front of a provider. MEDVi then sent me a follow up text stating that they agree with halt on taking the medication. So, it took them 4 weeks (with me pursuing their team at least 6 times) to tell me that. What a complete waste of time and money.

My daughter, a pharmacist, researched companies for a reputable manufacturer for weight loss for diabetics. She told me to try Medvi. Although very pricey compared to other companies, she thought the meds were tested and likely to be safe. For first 5 to 6 months, weight loss was steady. I lost about 30 to 35 pounds. The last 6 months I had no weight loss at all, and actually gained 10 pounds during the last two months. I was advised by their nurses and practitioners that I may need to switch from tirzepatide to semaglutide or go off completely to allow my body to reset. I had to go out of town for family emergency so I tried to cancel my subscription to avoid additional $399 charges. I wouldn't be home to receive the shipment.
The cancellation didn't go through. So in the past when I had overlapping charges between shipments I had been given refunds. Now I have been denied refunds for April and May billings and I didn't order a refill or receive medications. I currently am not qualified for the program as told by their providers because I'm gaining weight. I was given six or seven different customer service reps to speak with (none of which seemed to understand English well except the practitioners). I was told a rep would contact me two days in a row, but received an email saying I was denied refunds instead, and blocked my number.
I have disputed with my credit card, and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I also have contacted the South Carolina General Attorney Office to report fraud, and investigate for a class action suit. This company has numerous complaints about ignoring cancelation and refunds for meds not delivered. I will make it my number one mission to get the word out about their shady business policy and scamming folks. I'm retiring so I got time on my side Medvi.

Choose anyone, Medvi! They lie to lock you in and then you can never get anyone on the phone. I have gone through a different company before and had great results and decided to try Medvi out and it was my worst mistake. It showed it was locked in for 199 and then after the first month, it jumped up to $400 so I sent an email as soon as I seen that and requested a cancellation and stop of the second shipment. After a day of no response, I sent a follow-up email. Now that the money had already been taken out of my account, they sent a reply saying it was being reviewed. I still never got a shipment and then I got told my account was closed. When asked about when I would receive my refund. They said they would have to get back to me after a couple more days of no response. They told me that I did not qualify for a refund because I didn’t cancel within 72 hours.
I have email receipts that show I did in fact, start the process and the email the day of the money being taken out. It has now been over a month and a half and they won’t respond. Now I still never got a second shipment and they have never returned the $400 charge. On top of that, I had reached out to the customer service number they put in the email and spoke with four different representatives who then said they started the process, but I needed to call this other third-party company called GPay to give them the card information to complete the refund. It started out okay, but once they hook you in for a few months, things start to go downhill, including with the meds they provide you.
On my fourth month, they switched pharmacies and lowered my dose and the amount of units I was taking, and suddenly I started to get terrible stomach aches when up until then I had never had a single issue or problem. Started Jan 4 drank 80 oz water a day, high protein lots of veggies walked 5 miles a day…zero weight loss, zero side effects (I’d taken injectable previously and you had decreased appetite some nausea) nothing with this oral type. I reached out to support multiple times, increased my dose (was charged even before I asked for refill, price also increased from original plan quote) they kept telling me I was doing all the right stuff I could switch to injection if I wanted.
Well basically after approx $1100 wasted and absolutely not even 2 pounds weight loss by end of March 2026 I canceled and asked for the refund as per the money back guarantee promise when I signed up. I was told there wasn’t one after prescription sent out. Now I do research to see which works better oral vs injection and all the info I see is there is no such thing as oral Tirzepatide so what was I sent???? I have sent an email to medic support asking again for a refund of ALL I spent . We shall see what they say But be warned it is a scam in my opinion.
