Overall, my experience with Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids is good except with the gentleman I worked with at Sears in Livingston. So now I’m working with Anthony at their Fair Lawn office. I knew him and he had worked with me before. He definitely knows his business. I like my hearing aids very much and I’m happy with them. I've had other hearing aids but I think Miracle-Ear’s service is superior to any other service I've ever got with the hearing aid. I did recommend them to a friend. The company also has good offers from time to time, which is very helpful because it's not cheap to buy hearing aids. On two occasions, I lost or something has happened with my hearing aids and I bought them when they had a special deal on it so to have special offers on them from time to time is very helpful.

I went to Miracle-Ear because I didn't like the hearing aids that I found in another shop. Results going to Miracle-Ear were worthwhile. Their hearing aid has been very helpful. I've heard some things that I have never heard for a long time like raindrops on my car. We've also had excellent service from their people since we started with them. They're nice to talk to, helpful and pleasant to work with.

There's a Miracle-Ear place here where I live and they would do a free hearing-test when you go there. The feel appealed to me, so I went in. The receptionist there was pleasant and nice, and the hearing specialist medically knew what he was talking about. He tested the hearing aid to make sure that it worked for me. I got the one in two pieces where the mechanism is behind my ear and there's a small tube on the end that goes in my ear. It wasn't the super expensive one, around $1500. My experience with Miracle-Ear was helpful, pleasant because now I can hear better.

My old hearing aid weren't doing anything for me so my children took me to Miracle-Ear. The gentleman who took care of me has helped very much and the young lady in the office is good. I’ve had a very good experience. I'm very happy with them and would say nothing against them to anybody who spoke to me. My Miracle-Ear is top-notch, the best I've had.

My husband got the newest style of hearing aid from Miracle-Ear because it has the most advantages to someone who is hard of hearing. He has had used Miracle-Ear for fifteen years and has had a lot of success. It certainly helped him to be in groups, to watch TV, and improved his quality of life. We had a good experience with their customer service as well. My husband was disabled and the lady who was at the desk came out to the door where I let him off at the store and helped him to come in while I parked the car. The hostess and the technician were both very gracious and certainly took plenty of time with us. They had the appointment on time and we did not feel rushed. We were very pleased with our experience.

I like Miracle Ear but I had another brand prior to this. And I don’t find Miracle-Ear quite as user-friendly as the other one was. They’re fine but I was put in a position to buy a smartphone in order to get Genesis around my neck so that I could control the volume and the transmitters. My old hearing aids were fine with my old phone. It was an added $ 500 or $ 600 expense that I didn’t foresee as I bought the premium package.
I’m not at all happy with the rechargeable batteries. If I put them in around, 6 or 6:30 in the morning, by around 7:00 which is 13 hours, 7 or 8 o’clock in the evening, they’re beeping at me and I have to take them out. At my age, it's prime TV watching time or sleeping time. I probably would not have bought that charging thing because I really don’t think it’s worth the money. It does take regular 312 batteries and I do have those on hand but I find the additional cost for that charger was unnecessary. Still I’m pretty happy with my Miracle Ear. It's much better than not having them. I'd recommend them but with reservations because of the Genesis.

I knew Miracle-Ear was available at our local shopping center, so that's the first place I went to when I decided to look into getting hearing aids. I like their service and they were so convenient to me because they’re within a mile from my home. When I first got my first hearing aid set, they were in-the-ear type canal hearing aids and it was noticeably different. It’s been God-sent in a way. My ability to hear was greatly enhanced and now I’m on my third set which is behind-the-ear type. This is my second behind-the-ear set and the technology is much better than the in-the-ear type. They were just a good fit and I felt I really liked them right away.
The store that was nearby to me closed and moved down further south in Stockbridge, Georgia. It was not that inconvenient to go down there and the staff have been super. Their people are very qualified, and has been very caring and patient. Steve is my hearing aid specialist there and he knows what I need and how I feel because he is hearing impaired too and wears hearing aids. He has an affinity for taking care of the customer because he knows what they’re going through and that means a lot. My whole experience with Miracle-Ear has been fantastic.

I had to have my hearing tested and I went to three or four different places and I decided to go with Miracle-Ear. Though Miracle-Ear was a little bit more expensive, the girl that was there was probably the most knowledgeable of all the people I worked with. She seemed to have more knowledge of the product and my hearing problem so I was happy to go with her. I also liked that Miracle-Ear is close to my house and they have more places across the country than the other companies. I purchased the behind the ear hearing aids, and it made it easier to hear different things and sounds that I couldn’t hear before. It’s definitely improved my hearing.
Miracle-Ear have always been very prompt. If I had a hearing problem, I can always get in and be seen almost immediately. That’s a big thing when you have a problem that you wanted taken care of. The reception was always very helpful to get me in as soon as possible and when we rescheduled my appointment, it was definitely for my convenience. They provide excellent service and a three-year warranty. I hope everything works out for the price we paid and that it would be longer than a three-year experience.

Miracle-Ear has been good to me. They've been monitoring what the equipment is doing and I told the rep that it's doing real good. She gave me the ability to turn it up and down, and that's been working. I went to them recently this week, and she sent me over to the doctor to get my ears flushed out. I did that and that's helped a great deal. And then we made an appointment for November.
I worked over at the arsenal for 33 years and for the last couple of years, I've had hearing loss. They were supposed to send me to somebody like Miracle-Ear but they didn't follow up. I didn't get back with them and then I retired. My brother got his hearing aids from Miracle-Ear and I decided to get my hearing checked there. I received a flyer in the mail about Miracle-Ear and they had a substantial savings and some kind of gift card. So I called them and set up the appointment. They confirmed I've got hearing loss and said they can help me. The rep went with this particular style of hearing aids, and I said okay. I gave them my insurance card which helped out.
The only discerning thing was the flyer said 50% off and it wasn't. I told the rep that's not 50%, and she said something about "Well, up to 50%." I'm not sure if I read that correctly or just what it was. It ended up around $7,000, and Miracle-Ear dropped it down to around $5,000. But I still had to finance $3,000 of it. I should have paid only half of that $5,000. Other than that, the rep told me that the first hearing aid that they gave me was a number 3200, and they weren't working correctly. I kept going back every week and she kept turning them up a little bit at a time, and I kept saying to her that I still can't hear correctly. And she kept turning them up. But by the third time I came back, I said "No, I don't think they're working." And she says, "Well we can either look into this more or we can just order you this brand new, updated pair which is a model 3300." And I said "Well let's do that."
She went ahead and gave me the updated pair which I'm wearing now. When I came in to get the new set, the rep said, "I'll tell you what. Other than gradually turning up at a time and have you coming back, I'm gonna let you have the ability to turn them up and down. Then when I see you again, we're gonna see what range you had them at." She said I could turn them up. The updated hearing aids are marvelous. They're working good, and I like the ability to turn them up and down. I was in this restaurant, and they were really loud in there, so I had to turn them way down. But when I'm at home, I like the fact that I can turn them up and hear the television late at night, and then the television doesn't disturb my wife in bed. So that's been really good on that. The people at Miracle-Ear have been working with me all along and getting things straightened out, and I've been pleased with that.
They've got a great receptionist over there, and the doctor is very professional and explains everything so people can understand. If you have a problem with your hearing, they will get to the bottom of it and they're going to make sure that you're hearing at your optimum level. And they're going to recommend the best Miracle-Ear for your application. If you don't know anything about hearing aids, they will provide what you need and get it right.

Miracle-Ear sent out a little mailer but I used it after a couple of months. I then thought I needed to have mine checked and so I did. They were relatively close to the house so I selected them. I had a light colored piece that goes behind the ear. Nobody even notices it. In fact, nobody's ever asked me even about them. Miracle-Ear's customer service team was fine. I've had several other appointments, making sure everything was working right and they've been very pleasant to deal with, always on time, ready in very professional outfit. I really like them. They have impacted my life tremendously and I'm sorry I didn't do it years ago. It's just been a pleasant experience with them.

I bought my hearing aid that has receivers in the back of the ear and a tube that comes down into the ear from Miracle-Ear since I didn’t want a device that could be easily seen, and this one’s pretty well hidden. Everyone from their sales and customer service has been very pleasant, willing to answer questions that I had, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I hear better using the device, and I can join in the conversation at the table because I hear well the sentence being said, instead of just thinking what I heard. Miracle Ear’s been great, and I’ve recommended them to somebody who also got a device from them.

I went to Miracle-Ear because my wife has been bugging me for years about getting a hearing aid, and I know I have some kind of hearing impairment because I’ve had it checked before by a doctor. The Miracle-Ear hearing aids helped me to listen to television. Before, I would ask my wife “What did they just say?” and she says "the TV's a little too loud, lower it." But when I had the hearing aids in, she tells me the TV’s too low and make it louder. I purchased the model that goes behind the ear which has five different settings. It has a little wire that runs down and goes in the ear. Their customer service team has been fine. They call to check on my scheduled appointments, and they give me batteries whenever I need them. They clean that hearing aid when needed but I take care of them pretty good so they just ask me if I have any problems with it. They've been good, and I’ve had no problem with the people there. I would recommend them.

My girlfriend kept telling me that I have a hearing loss. I went ahead and had it checked and sure enough, I do have a bit of it. I worked at Walmart and that’s a challenge because of the blowers upfront and I’m a greeter at the door so I’m by those blowers all day. They have high decibel and that’s what affected my hearing. So I purchased the Miracle-Ear hearing aids. I bought the one that comes with the little earbud and the microphone which goes everything over the ear. The local rep has been really great about making tweaks on the hearing aid here and there to help with low and high tones and giving adjustments. It seemed to be too crisp like wadding up paper or the rustling of a plastic bag but when she made an adjustment, it’s not quite as crisp now.
I wish the rep has the license or the ability to flush earwax out on the spot. I still have to go to a doctor twice a year to have earwax taken out as it gets in the earbuds all the time. I have to be constantly cleaning those things every time I use them. If the rep could do it, it would save me a trip to the doctor. The hearing aids hasn’t been screened but I do notice that I am hearing things that I normally wouldn’t. I used to hear the loudspeakers outside across the place where I live but barely hear them inside. With the hearing aids on, I could hear them inside now so it does make a difference.

Miracle-Ear was the one I saw coming up most in the advertisements so I wrote to them to find out about their products and they sent me a brochure. The first time I went to a technician, he explained everything to me. He was very understanding and helpful. Everything went great. He impressed me a lot. He was pleasant and a very upbeat young man. I was advised to use the small, flesh-colored behind the ear model. It's almost invisible. It's small and discreet, it looks as if I'm in the Secret Service.
It has made a lot of changes for me. I'm partially deaf on the left ear and when people are talking to me, I have to turn or I wouldn't understand what was said and I was embarrassed to tell them. Some people I would tell, others I would just pretend I understand what they're saying. With this hearing aid, I don't even have to turn my head to the right side to hear. It's working as it's supposed to. There's hardly any background noise. I travel the subway a lot. At first I thought with the noise in the subway, it would increase in the hearing aid but that's not true. That's what impressed me most about the hearing aid; it limits the amount of noise that is going through. You may hear a hissing sound now and then but that's it.

I passed by the counter in Sears and selected Miracle-Ear. It has a tube going into the ear and fits behind it. It's working great but I still need some adjustments on it so I dealt with their Sears' office. I've had great service there and the product is fine with me especially the newer model. But unfortunately, my insurance company doesn't cover it, and neither does Medicare. They've been very responsive to my needs. Very satisfactory experience with Miracle-Ear.

Also, I don’t have to turn the TV up full blast, and I like that I don’t have to keep saying, “What? What?” I went with their top of the line model because my hearing was bad that Miracle-Ear suggested that range, and my husband said, “Go for the top of the line, Jane.” The guy that I go to in their office is fantastic. I went to the Miracle-Ear office because I got a flyer in the mail that said they were having a special on the hearing aids for $595. I heard these things cost as much as $1,500 to $2,000 a piece. That made me move. I got the one that's over the ear, has four settings and I can do one beep or two beeps - one for normal and two for directional. However I don't see a whole lot of difference with the Miracle-Ear, but my wife says she does. I do know that there are times when I can hear better than the other times. He tested my ears thoroughly and came up with a solution. I had another hearing aid before, but this one far surpasses the one I had. It serves me well. However, there are some things I don’t like about it. For example, I don’t like having to go for a new battery every week, which seems excessive. I got to wonder sometimes if it’s a money making idea or the truth. Another one is the little string-like plastic that’s tucked inside the ear which Miracle-Ear makes it too long. I’ve cut it multiple times because it was coming out and going past my earlobe. Next is that there are times when I get itching in the ear because my ears perspire a little bit and so I have to remove my hearing aid. I had to get hearing aids because I couldn't hear my little grandchildren, and I was working in a library and I couldn't hear the girls. I used to have three sets of Miracle-Ear hearing aids that went into the ear, but now I prefer to use the one that's behind the ear. I go in Miracle-Ear's office every 4 months for cleaning, and I met a girl there that is marvelous and very good in cleaning my aids. I chose Miracle-Ear over others because it's pretty well-known, got good ratings, and reliable. With the hearing aid, I'm hearing things that I haven't heard in quite a while. I go to them every few months to have my ears and the hearing aids checked. Chad, their rep, has been very professional and helpful - he answers any questions I might have. Also, Jean the receptionist has been very good about changing my schedule as there several occasions where she's had to change my appointment due to my work. I really appreciate that because I work in retail and my schedule can be very fluctuating.

The last two years that I have Miracle-Ear, my hearing has gotten worse. I'm wondering if the amplifying has an effect on that part. But when I wear it, the hearing is better except sometimes I think it's too loud. I have the hearing aid model which is in the canal because I just didn't want it showing, and that's what Miracle-Ear recommended. And one of my other concern is that the right fits better than the left because the left still sticks out.
Also I've been to three of Miracle-Ear's offices, and the people in Palm Beach were fantastic. Unfortunately, they closed that office. Then I went to someone in West Palm Beach. My first experience was not good but they made up for it the second time. My first experience was the air conditioner in the office was down and somehow there was some confusion why I was there, and I just had a feeling that it was lunchtime but they said that was not the case. Then someone called and I corrected the situation but I wasn't going to come back until two weeks later. Then I went to somebody out in New York, and he was terrific and really special. So all in all, my experience with them has been pretty good.

I had my first Miracle-Ear 30 years ago and a couple a years later I got the second one. In those years I only had one episode where I had to give up one to have it repaired. So I have never had to be without them. Now that I am 72 years old, with my hearing deteriorated, I am very dependent on them. I have been more than happy with the service that I got from them, and I still am. I have two sons, and with the hearing being a family trait, will probably be in the market for some hearing aids in the near future. I have told them that that’s where they should go.

Miracle-Ear hearing aids are expensive but you get what you pay for. I am happy with them and I certainly recognize that they’re doing as much as they can. Peggy ** was the Miracle-Ear representative in Madison, and she was very good, and we have had good service from her. We adjusted the aids well and she was very pleasant to work with. If one of the hearing aids wasn’t working or something needed cleaning, they’ve always been very accommodating and I appreciate that.
My biggest complaint, however, and I know I’m not alone in this, is that when I get into crowded situations, I don’t hear so well because I still get a lot of feedback from everybody. And the one conversation that I’d like to concentrate on is usually overwhelmed by a lot of noise around that I can’t separate out all the time. But that’s very typical, I found out from my friends who also have both Miracle-Ear and other brands. And so we learn to live with.

So when I saw the discount in the paper last November, I thought it's the time to take care of my hearing. I feel like I've had very good service so it's been a good experience so far. I haven't had to tell people to turn up the TV and I can hear people speak much better, especially at our big convent where we have many people at round tables and there's a lot of sound around. I try to wear my Miracle-Ear hearing aid as much as possible because I don't have my hearing impacted too much in one ear but I have no hearing in the other ear. I have read and believe that if I don't use my hearing aid, my brain won't recognize sounds after a while. I am not at that point yet but I'm going to use it all the time, even if I do hear somewhat. I don't have perfect hearing in the other ear because I use it too much, and probably because I'm not using the other ear.
The Miracle-Ear sales and customer service reps in Webster are very helpful. The lady who books the appointments is very congenial and nice, and did me a big service by helping me get my insurance to cover it because they didn't want to, and I can pay installments for six months. She said she'll handle it and she did. Phillip on the other hand is really intelligent and good about explaining things, and he's a pleasant person to go to. You don't dread it like when you'd go to a dentist. I like the fact that the charge for the hearing aid service includes many appointments spaced out around the year to check on how the hearing aid is. The Miracle-Ear tech makes sure it's not waxed or dirty. My friend said they don't get that service with their hearing aid company, so I'm very happy.

Then it got to the point where I missed something somebody would say to me when they were to my side or behind me. But now that I have the hearing aids, I'm aware of the people when they say something to me from any direction without difficulty. Some voices are tough to make sense out of it but I understand people easily when I'm wearing it.
The sales rep we encountered has excellent customer service skills. Having experience with different people who served hearing aids to my parents over the years, I would rate her skill as a diagnostician as one of the best. Having been a caretaker for a mother-in-law who is deaf in one ear and impaired in another and wearing a hearing aid in which I was involved in her care for 6 years, and then my father wore hearing aids for probably 20 years before he passed, and I was involved with him in our home, her level of skill's as good as anybody I've come across in terms of diagnosing and testing. I can't be without my Miracle-Ear hearing aid, that's for sure. I had to find a place to get a hearing aid because my other one was very old, and then my granddaughter works with one. Miracle-Ear keeps me happy when it works. It's terrible when you can't hear people. My interactions with their sales and customer service reps were very pleasant because I was happy to get the hearing aid. This is the fourth time I got a hearing aid. When you need something like this, it's a blessing that you have something that helps you. And of course, I definitely needed it.

My grandma used to have the old-fashioned kind that you could see them and they were hard to work with. This one is easy to work with and painless.
As for the people whom we worked with, there's a girl when we walked in the door that has been great to answer questions and schedule appointments, and then the lady that actually views her hearing and adjusted the hearing aids was very helpful and informative.

Before I got the hearing aid, I wouldn't participate in conversations because quite often, I'd misunderstand what people were saying and then I'd get embarrassed. The interactions that I've had with the Miracle-Ear sales and customer service team have all been positive. They keep up with my needs with batteries and exams. When I was purchasing my Miracle-Ear, the sales and customer service reps did an excellent job. I got the behind-the-ear style, which is what they recommended. I like the design of the product, that it is comfortable to wear, and that the batteries were readily available. Although it is expensive, I like its lifetime guarantee and I go in for checkups every three months. Since using it, I can hear birds and I can hear my wife a little better now, particularly if we're in the same room - it's difficult to hear anybody when they're talking to me from another room. But what it has impacted primarily is when I'm outside in a convenience store where I have had difficulty understanding people at the counters because I wasn't hearing the higher consonants and intonations; so, that has improved. The Miracle-Ear team at Torrington is very accommodating and thorough, and they address any problem. Overall, it has been a good experience.

You cannot wear somebody else’s hearing aids.” But I got along fine with them, because apparently, my mother and I had the same ear canal, otherwise the hearing aids would not have fit in my ear. They couldn’t believe it, but I showed them and they saw how it fit into my ear. I got along fine with that pair but later on, I decided I needed my own. I did have my very first pair, but I didn't care for those because when I comb my hair, they come out. I've worn hearing aids for 20 years and I had one that needs to be fixed. So I took it to Miracle-Ear, but I ended up buying new ones. I started off with an aid that I wear within the ear and I found that the one behind the ear was more comfortable for me so I've always used them. It's a very small hearing aid, and I have a hard molded earpiece that goes in, but this is much better for me rather than the loose ones that I've had all along. Alan, the fellow who worked with me really wanted to get me going in a good sense, and for a while I had to come back a couple of times and he had to readjust it.
I have a very pronounced hearing loss in high frequencies. In fact, there are some frequencies I can't hear at all. But this particular hearing aid has a nice feature that it can take some of the frequencies that I can't hear and they can put that same frequency into something that I can hear. For example, I used to be able to stand right alongside a tea kettle and not hear it at all, but now with this hearing aid, I can. It's not the same frequency but it's one frequency that I can hear on. I'm happy when I get a good general hearing and my brain is trained now that background noise is not eliminated. I hear it but it's just not predominant. Miracle-Ear is not the most expensive, but it's the very best that I've had, and I like the service and dealing with them.

I had tried a couple of hearing aids and had a lot of discomfort. They wouldn't work. Miracle-Ear fills the bill. It helps a lot. I've heard little sounds that I hadn't heard in a long time. I went with the basic, the $4,200 one. My interactions with the Miracle-Ear them wasn't very good at the start. When I read the serial number of the first set that I got, it said that they were 6 or 7 years old but they were new hearing aids. In addition, the guy told me that my insurance paid for them 100%. I went back to ask him about 7 or 8 times when I had my hearing aid adjusted and each time, he said I didn't owe anything, my insurance paid for it.
A year and one day after I got them, I got a bill for $4,200. It said my insurance didn't pay anything. I thought for a whole year that my insurance did pay for them. That guy's gone; they got rid of him. I called the supervisor there and I asked him, "Would you look at these and tell me how they are? The serial numbers say that they're approximately 7 years old." He said, "No, there isn't a way that it can happen." I said, "Well, it has. I just wanna give them back since I owe you $4,200." He said, "Let me get with the plan." I said, "No." He said, "How about if we give you a brand new pair, with a brand new date on them?" So they swapped out the old ones for a pair with brand new date which I paid for.
However, there wasn't that much difference in the effectiveness of them. They also didn't know how in the world a 7-year old set slipped through and sold as new. $4,200 for a used set is just tough. The supervisor assured me that they updated them every six months. This last year and a half, I've been good with them. They have called me, made appointments, sent my hearing aid batteries, checked on me 2 or 3 times and sent me a birthday card. Overall, with the rest of the people now, they were very, very courteous and helpful.

I've had some issues with my Miracle-Ear but the people are very nice about taking care of them. I had some wax build-up that affected the hearing aid. I like it but it has its inherent problems too. When you're wearing a hearing aid, you're picking up all of the surrounding noises, so I have difficulty hearing at times because I hear everything besides the persons talking. Generally I have a particularly hard time on the telephone. If I put the phone on speaker, I can hear a little better and people have to talk slower because it just takes time to resonate properly. If I'm watching TV in a room and anybody comes in and starts talking, I can't hear the TV. It's making so much noise. Sometimes I'm better off to shut the hearing aids and use the headphones for the TV. I also find it difficult sometimes to go into a restaurant to eat because of all the background noises.
I bought them in Massachusetts but I was in Florida and went to the outlet there and they were extremely nice with me like I was their own customer. They cleaned them on a couple of occasions. Then I got back up here and had a couple of services. After this last visit, the person from Miracle-Ear cleaned and redid them, and they're working super. Without them, I can't hear. It's on the ear piece as well as with the remote. I chose this model because it was the least fussy and it seemed right. The first interaction that I had with sales and customer service representative was absolutely brilliant.
Then there was a brief interval with a kid who was absolutely super, absolutely charming, and delighted everyone. However, he procured me a model which had not got (as it should have done) the remote included with it, and he had to do an expensive backup order to obtain a remote which I had to pay. I'd recommend Miracle-Ear hearing Aids. I got the model for behind the ear for $5,000.00 and it's been very good. Their customer service reps are knowledgeable and able to explain everything so I've had no problem.

My hearing aid is the one placed behind the ear with the tubes that go in the canal. People don't even notice that I got them most of the time. In fact, I've worn them for years and there are people who still come up today and they'll notice a tube and say, "I didn't know you wore hearing aids!" It has impacted my life greatly. I'm the mayor of this city and I'm constantly with people who speak softly or have different pitch voices. If I don't have my hearing aids, I could not do this job effectively.
On a regular basis I'd go in and have my Miracle-Ear checked. Then occasionally we do another ear exam to make sure I haven't lost anything. Dan is the guy who is taking care of the store that I go to now. He's very professional, efficient and quick about his service because he knows that my time is valuable. He's always answered all my questions and has always solved all my problems. It's a very friendly meeting but also very business-like and efficient.

Nowadays I feel there are too many companies taking advantage of the elderly. My parents live alone in South Carolina. I am in TN. My father recently purchased a hearing aid from your company for over 5,000 dollars. From day 1 he has nothing but issues. Never helped him. 1 year later (yesterday) he was told it was not strong enough he would need the 8,000 dollar unit. I find this unacceptable to have paid that much for the wrong one. On top of that my father questioned the price and he had researched and found Sam's had same unit for 3000 dollars and was pressured into purchasing from you. Luckily he did not get a second one from you. I know every business focus is to make money, what about helping people! Maybe look at it as would I want my parents treated that way?

My experience with Miracle-Ear has been very good for the last ten years. My representative is a guy by the name of Jim who is now in a new town. I've had very good relations with him. He's a product of a hearing problem since he's been a kid so he knows what he's talking about. He's very knowledgeable and able to explain products and warranties to me. He's been very helpful. I go to him every three months. He cleans it out, adjusts it and whatever has to be done. My Miracle-Ear hearing aid lets me hear - that's the big thing. I've recommended Miracle-Ear to quite a few friends of mine.

I've had Miracle-Ear for a little over a year and it was $9,000. I'm in my 80s, retired, very limited income. These people treated me very nice and are very polite. They take care of me very well. I send them a payment every once in a while and everybody's happy. I got it in Auburn, Maine. It's a local couple that's running the store down there and they treat me with dignity and respect, and do as much as they can with their computer.
My hearing is better than it was without it. I can't hear good at the movies, in a crowded restaurant, a group of people. I don't hear with background noise and at the racetrack, etc. It doesn't go back to what it was through the years and the damage that you have in your ears is not recovered by a mechanical device that you shove in your ear every day. The price just seems way higher than all others in the market. Other than that, I like the care, the people, and the way it works as it does what it's supposed to.

I had signed an agreement to have ordered on 5/19/15 for hearing aids. Last night I changed my mind and left a message to cancel them. I was due to come in 6/2/15 to get them.. The man that I had dealt with said he had to pay out of pocket for them, stating that I would be responsible for paying him back. Nowhere on the purchase agreement does it state that. Am I responsible?

Ear doctor suggested I not get a sound amplifier as it will only amplify the distorted weak hearing that suddenly occurred. So I paid thousands to get the best Miracle Ear available. The increase in hearing was minimal and what it does amplify is the distorted sound. When I went back and had it adjusted, it only worked for a short time. This model is suppose to be AGC (automatic gain control). It does not. And if it supposed to be automatic, then why does it need adjusting at their location and why is there an adjustment button on it? I am very sorry I bought this and wish I had tried a cheap sound amplifier first which I still might try. I bought it under a 1 year payment plan at no interest. I am paying monthly. Maybe I will stop until I get one that works.

If you're not satisfied with the product they will refund 100% of your money back. No return fee, no restock fee, 100% money back. The staff here is excellent. The training they offer is enlightening. I've learned there is more to hearing and understanding than just a hearing aid in your ear. If you need help hearing I recommend ** office.

**, the technician at Sterling Hts Miracle Ear, is dishonest. The best way to handle this guy is to put the aids on a credit card, then if you have any problems, you can dispute the charge with your credit card company. ** told me I could not get a refund on aids I had not picked up and that I would owe 20% of the cost. ** gave me the runaround when I asked for contact info for his manager. My boyfriend has had permanent hearing loss since the age of 2, he is now 42. When we went into the local office in Orlando and spoke with Heidi, we gave her all of his medical information. After completing the testing, her suggestion was to purchase a particular model. This is suppose to be her area of expertise, so we waited until we could pay the $3,500 and ordered what she suggested. We paid and begin this horrible nightmare. We would go for adjustments and within minutes of leaving the office, those adjustments were "lost". Several visits and failed attempts, we were referred to go see an ENT, Heidi was absolutely convinced that the patient had some inner ear infection! So we paid money to see the ENT. It's was no surprise to find out he had no infection. It was additionally verified by the ENT his type of hearing loss and suggested demoing aids to find one that worked.
Furthermore, informing us the aid we had was defective. What a marvelous idea, one not suggested by Miracle Ear. Our ENT office did not have a model that worked for him, which she then referred us to a few other companies. Imagine someone acknowledging we can't help you but understood the importance of finding the "right" product to work! This was NEVER Miracle Ears reputation. After all, isn't that the ultimate goal to be able to buy an aid that works? Miracle Ear replaced this aid with the same model. Again multitude adjustments later, the aid still didn't work. At this point we asked for a refund. At this point we were further insulted by being told we had not invested our money into the correct product! Remember now we BOUGHT what we were told would work for him. We didn't buy a lower grade model. They didn't want to send us a refund so they upgraded us to their "best" model.
Within the 1st month, the aid stopped working TWICE! During this time we are still going through adjustments. We asked for a refund and we were advised we could get this model to work with adjustments. During our adjustment period we met at a different office. We were then informed that it would not work without a secondary aid. Please now cough up another $3,500! At this point we attempted to contact the office we had ordered from. We are now in the holiday season and having difficulties getting through. Heidi then informs us BOTH her and her boss believe 1 aid would still work.
At this time I am beginning research. The conclusion is NO ONE that has ALWAYS had to use 2 aids could EVER have just 1 work. So what kind of professionals could we be dealing with? We demanded our money back so we could ultimately buy a product that would work for us. Heidi refused to inform us if we could have a refund. She promised to get back to us the next day. She NEVER called us back. I waited 4 days before I called her. When she returned my call later that day we were informed that not only were they denying us a refund but her boss wanted to meet with us. This appointment would have to wait 2 weeks before he would make the trip to see us. All THOSE adjustments pushed us back their 30 day refund window.
However we were within the 90 day manufacture warranty, instead of them refunding our money and dealing directly with the company they refused. They were willing to keep adjusting the aid, with the knowledge that this aid would never work. We even asked to demo a duplicate aid, allowing us to see if the secondary aid would give us success. After all, we are becoming desperate to find a solution so that he can just hear! I could not believe they wanted another $3,500 up front with NO GUARANTEE the secondary aid would be our solution. There is no way I am handing out more money with no knowledge we would have a solution. So we could then be out $7,000 and have no working aids and get no refund on the second monies issued?
So I then began to dispute the portion put on a credit card. Miracle Ears comment was they were willing to work with us. Their solution is still to keep adjusting. Why continue to go through adjustments to further frustrate ourselves. NO AMOUNT OF ADJUSTMENTS WILL MAKE THIS AID WORK! I can't believe their goal isn't to ensure we can go somewhere that actually works for us. Their company’s reputation isn't about improving lives but how much money can they make! This type of mentality is a disgrace when you are dealing with people’s livelihoods and quality of life. We are waiting to finally hear from Miracle Ears corporate office so they can hopefully do the right thing by allowing us to afford to go somewhere else. The sad thing is we paid completely out of pocket and without this refund he will have to most likely go a year longer without an aid. Thank you Miracle Ear for believing our lives should be suffer to this extent.
The amazing news is we have found a local company that demos models with amazing customer service. This company has demoed us 2 aids that will work! This last month has been so amazing being able to have normal conversations. We just have to come up with the cash again! This company is AHT located in Sanford, Florida phone number 407-792-3048. Feel free to say the referral is from Robert **. I believe in recognizing great customer service is important.

Myself and son went for a hearing test at Miracle Ear in Texarkana, Texas just before Christmas 2014. I had received a card that read to have ears tested and bring a friend. And you would get a ham or turkey each and batteries for life. We didn't get either one. Nor did I get batteries for my old hearing aid. I consider this as false advertising. The man that tested our hearing told his receptionist to send me a ticket for a ham in the mail. We still have not received anything. And no batteries were given to me either. I would like to complain to the corporate office about this incident. I live on a fixed income and cannot afford many batteries at a time. I was thrilled that I would get batteries for a life time for my old hearing aid. Who should I contact regarding this? I'm very disappointed with this company. Thank you.

Since my contract with miracle, I have had repeated visits with them on one or the other hearing aid not performing, hearing noise, ear to ear, screeching. I lost one, I had insurance with them, and had to pay a fee to get the one replaced. Now, they will not give me that one back from repair, they said I have to find the lost one, and that the left ear belongs to them and apparently she did not register it.

Miracle Ear office: 1517 Farmers Lane, Santa Rosa, CA- 95405-7525. It's so-called hearing specialist; alleged board certified; Mr. **. He tried to rig the audio tests to convince me(a senior citizen) my hearing had deteriorated since a 2009 exam in order to sell me a hearing aid. When I expressed doubt re: the low scores I got from his in- the booth- test of my hearing, he pulled out all of the stops to make his commission. He placed one of the hearing aids on me, claiming that it would also alleviate the Tinnitus I have. Mr. ** gave me another hearing test - w/o headphones & out of the booth - he purposely ran a pencil over a sheet of paper on his desk so I wouldn't be able to detect the tonal sounds. He claimed that my tinnitus would get worse & threw in dementia as my fate w/o purchase of a Miracle Ear device. I just got a second audiogram at a medical clinic & it refuted "hearing specialist" **'s claim that I had suffered severe hearing loss. According to Kaiser Hospital, my hearing in the right ear (I was born deaf in the left side - which Miracle Ear knew) hasn't changed since 1998! I feel sorry for fellow seniors who might be conned by Mr. **.

The hearing aids didn't fit comfortably and I kept going back week after week. I tried to return both of them as I was getting disgusted with it and they told me if I returned it they would have to take 3000.00 of the 6000.00 I paid. The hearing aid in the right ear itched so they took off the mold and gave me something else. This was worse so now I am waiting for several weeks now for another replacement. This is so totally unfair, but I signed a contract and now I am paying for it. I should have read the comments from the other people before I went to them.
