Cord Blood Registry was what was recommended. I went through a fertility clinic for my son's birth and, thankfully, I was able to get pregnant on the third try and he was born in December of 2024. He'll be two this December. The CBR representatives were wonderful. They explained everything very well and very professionally. They helped me understand exactly how it all works. It was a little bit expensive because it's not really something that we're currently using, but if something were to happen in the future and we needed to use it, we have it available. We took the kit to the hospital and everything was good. But it took me a while to get the kit picked up. I thought in that kit it said they would come in a couple of hours but it took me almost six hours after I called and they came and collected the kit. Everything went exactly as they said it would when it was happening. We have three children, and we've banked stem cells with all three. There's no guarantee that all three would have the same cord blood, so we did all three. We're still paying for it.
