I signed up and emailed them and said "I was allergic to ** so please refund me now if you cannot work around my allergy". I got a response a week or two later saying they will let me know. That was it. 5 weeks I have been with them and NOTHING. I have emailed them over and over asking why no consultation, why no labs order created, why nothing beyond what to eat and a scale sent to my house... NOTHING. I started with emails about hey...what next and NOTHING. Then I decided I refuse to work with a company like this so then I started asking for my money back. NOTHING. Over and over the past 3 weeks I have requested my money back and where to send their welcome box back to ... NOTHING. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! They take your money and then RUN.

The app update has made it IMPOSSIBLE to hit 85% recording of goals daily, the support team will string you along for a month at a time. They will not cancel or refund you when they fail to help you or reply to you. Don't make the 1600 dollar mistake I did, these guys are liars and will never reply with anything helpful these days. The past 6 months or so support has tanked and I am now at risk of missing a trip I need paperwork and stuck with a medication prescription they won't change even though I have side effects and cannot meet the schedule despite best efforts to "tough it out". They are trying to make me not meet the refund requirements so that I can't ever get my money back, skipped calls, difficult app, non responsive medical team but you're 100% supposed to follow their medication schedules. Predatory.

I joined Calibrate several months ago, paying almost $2K. I waited months for my first and only doctor appointment and I still haven't received my prescriptions. In addition, today I waited for 45 minutes in a Zoom call for my FIRST coaching appointment. The coach finally showed up at 12:15, when the appointment is supposed to end and she disconnected the call. I have never experienced such atrocious customer service. DO NOT JOIN.

I followed the steps for cancellation on their website and my requests have been ignored. Now I am out $1700 for nothing. Please beware! This is a total scam. They don’t follow their refund policies that are clearly listed on their website.

BIGGEST PROBLEM - lots of pretty pictures, but no substance or true support behind the slick marketing and colorful app. It seemed like a great concept at first glance. It seemed to make sense based on a touted blend of technology, science and the support that was promised in addition to that online aspect, well sign me up. Almost immediately after agreeing to participate, at a cost that is well over 1K for a year, support did not line up, responses took forever, meds that were promised to be covered involved getting on the phone with multiple providers to argue about what is covered and the worst part - no way to get to a human easily. This became very apparent when I was offered a new role at my organization that involved a cross country move.

During a that involved relocation that started in June of 2022, I need to pause this program. They offer this, and I took advantage, since it is hard to travel with ** med pens and be on point with everything while trying to introduce myself to a new district 2500 miles from home. My coach was fully aware of the pause and set new appointments close to the end of the pause to resume the program. Out of nowhere, those new appointments were cancelled and not one person reached out to me to explain why or to reschedule with a new coach. Because it is virtually impossible to connect with a human, and I was very busy trying to integrate into my new role and coordinate a move during a very fluid real estate climate, I put it off to the side.

Now 18 months after starting this, and a year from when I "paused" with no personal contact after being ghosted and not being able to get any support, I am getting some sort of “end of program” notice? I feel like the money spent on this program was a waste, from day one there were problems with the app, problems with securing medication and quite frankly, while a good idea in theory, just poorly executed. I feel if the concern and support of the weight loss candidate is the priority, this would not have been my experience. This is yet another program that promises much and delivers nothing. Now that I have been reminded of the negative experience, I am taking the time to rate it accordingly so others can avoid losing cash (and nothing else). Weight loss candidate, beware!

My doctor recommended Calibrate because the medication works, not knowing that the service was trash. I decided to join. Normally when $1600 is involved I would do research but thought since my doc recommended it would likely be ok. I was %1000 wrong. I joined through affirm, made the first payment, received the welcome kit, filled out all the info, did the labs, started keeping track of my stats, set up my appointments... Then I try to open the app one morning and I am prompted to update the app. I do this and all my info is gone. I had been tracking all my things and everything seemed to have disappeared, including the labs I uploaded. I checked my 1st appointments and they had been cancelled. I had no messages in the app so I had no idea why.

The new app wouldn't let me reschedule the appointments either. I had 7 different tickets open asking them to help me get things back on track. After 2 months of no response and them about to take the 3rd payment, I was growing suspicious about this whole program. It wasn't until I called affirm and told them I wanted to open a fraud case against Calibrate because I couldn't get a hold of anyone and they just kept taking money from my account and I had no counseling, no medication and quite literally nothing to show for this entire experience... That's when I finally got a response from Calibrate. Then the person I spoke to was so snide and made me feel like it was my fault that I "failed" their program.

They were so sorry I couldn't make it work for me. What these assholes need to recognize is that this is the last hope for a lot of people. We have been lied to so many times about bogus medications, fad diets, useless supplements, told to starve ourselves, to break ourselves to loose weight. So when you don't respond and leave us hanging we immediately lose any faith that you can help us. People have taken our money for all kinds of ** and it turns out Calibrate is just another greedy company preying on people's last hope. I did finally receive my refund, minus $200 for their stupid notebook, some motivational stickers, and a scale exactly like the one I already had. So I basically paid $200 to be utterly disappointed again. Find something better, y'all because this ain't it.

Calibrate is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, which is especially frustrating given that I have paid them over $1600 for their service. I have been trying to get them to renew my prior authorization for medication, which they said they would complete in 7-10 business days, but never sent the info to my insurance company despite repeated requests from them. I called the customer service voicemail 2 times in the course of a month (once with the initial request, and once with a follow-up after 10 business days have passed) and now they have blocked my phone number from calling again. I verified this by both calling from another number and hiding my number using *67. It's shocking to me that a business would take $1600 from me and then block me from making requests to fulfill the basic requirements of my membership. Stay away from this business.

My husband and I signed up for this program together in June. We each paid $1600. We were ready for a lifestyle change. We believed in the programs’ goals. HOWEVER, this company doesn’t care about how much money you lose, how much time you spend getting your labs done and sent to them, how many times your support questions go unanswered by Their fake bot auto reply “customer support” link, and they don’t care about their reputation. I’m writing reviews to spread the word so that other people don’t do what we did. They do not respond. They do not follow through with their promises that play on innocent customers’ emotions.

My husband and I went to our doctors and we did our own labs and sent the results only for Calibrate support team to reply for 4 days “Welcome to Calibrate! Warning! Be careful signing up with Calibrate. I signed up for its service and had no way to contact customer service with questions other than sending a message through the app and the only responses I received were not relevant to my questions. I timely requested a refund and received an email acknowledging cancelation of the service but they have refused to refund me the money. They have also stopped responding to my messages. My next step and apparently only option is to email/call the members of the advisory board, council and venture partners (information is located on the About Us but you need to do your own searches for their contact information).

I started the program in April of 2023, When I joined the program was web based and I could use their website to do everything. A few weeks later I try to log on to update my weight etc. and everything was moved to their app. There is too much information to read off of a little cell phone screen. I also had to re-enter all of my information on the App. I Couldn't book my first appointment with the Dr. until May 31 2023. The support team was responsive all the way up to the first meeting with the Dr. after that it was like I was dead to them.

I finally got approved for the medication and my prescription was called into my pharmacy. I went to pick up my meds and the pharmacy wouldn't give them to me because the dosing information was unclear to the Pharmacist. The Pharmacy has been trying to reach calibrate support since June 12, 2023. I wrote to the support team on behalf of my pharmacy and the note went unanswered. On June 20 I had a meeting Scheduled with my counselor, I thought I might get help from her. Not surprising She never showed up for my meeting. Wrote to support after my scheduled meeting and again no response from support. I get another call from my pharmacy, Now there is an issue with the Insurance. I write into support again on the 20th, this time threatening to cancel my membership. I finally get a response asking why I want to cancel that was June 29. I write a 4 paragraph response and then I sit and a wait for a response.

Today July 6, 2023 I get an email saying that they can cancel my membership, but I am not eligible for a refund. According to terms contract. Would I still like to cancel? - They also said that they are small company that is overwhelmed with support issues and that responses can take some time. I re-read the terms contract and it states that if they can't fill a prescription in 90 days and at a cost of $25.00 then I would be eligible for a full refund minus the $250.00. So I responded saying don't cancel, get my prescription correct and reset up all of my counseling appointments. I also told them that not having enough staff to support their product and program is not a MY problem but a their problem that they shouldn't be pawning off on their customers! I'm sure it will be a few weeks before I hear back from them. It also looks like I just wasted $1600.00 Plus dollars on a scam! -

When reading about this program, I was very excited. There a two components to this program; the medical team and the coaching team. The medical team has much room for improvement. The only way of contacting them is through the Calibrate app. However, if they respond at all, the wait time is extremely long. I had lapses in medication over the course of my one year in this program and very poor communications. The coaching aspect is fabulous and the coaches show up for the meetings. My suggestion is to get the medication from your primary care physician. You can work with your own doctor and he can monitor the results and your blood work. After I had my initial meeting with the doctor and was on the medication, I never once spoke to a doctor again nor was I asked to do blood work for monitoring.

I sent an email complaint and after a few weeks someone wrote back and offered a refund minus the $250 doctor fee (that I tried to cancel several times starting 2 weeks prior to appt). Still no rescheduled doctor appt, no response on meds in spite of them having my insurance info and pharmacy info for the last 3 months. From what I am reading in other reviews, my insurance likely won't cover it (unless i have diabetes, which I do not) and its an additional $1000-$1500 a month, which I cannot afford. No transparency at all from Calibrate on this hidden charge. I am going to cancel this plan and use whatever means at my disposal to get a full refund. This is The Worst online scam I've seen... and absolutely no way to run a business.

I am considering reporting them to https://reportfraud.ftc.gov if I don't get my refund within 2 weeks (I suspect they spend our money as soon as they get it and the delay in refunds is because they no longer have the funds to return to the customer.) I was initially filled with great enthusiasm about this program. I promptly completed my laboratory work upon signing up, although it took a couple of weeks to secure a doctor's appointment. Upon approval of the medication, the healthcare provider assured me that they would initiate the process of submitting a pre-authorization request to my insurance company. The doctor informed me that if, within a 90-day period, they were unable to obtain approval for the medication, I could request a refund, minus the $250 fee for the doctor's visit.

Around the 60-day mark, I began inquiring with my assigned coach about the status of the medication, only to be informed that their records indicated that I had yet to receive approval. Finally, through a message in their application, I received the disheartening news that my insurance company had declined coverage for the prescribed medication. To make matters worse, I was given a mere 7-day window to notify them if I intended to cancel, otherwise it would be assumed that I wished to proceed with the program. This situation seems incredibly unreasonable and frustrating.

Upon reading the message, I immediately reached out to them, but I have yet to receive a response. This lack of communication is highly concerning, as it suggests a lack of accountability and professionalism on their part. It appears that once they have received payment, they become unresponsive and fail to uphold effective communication practices. If I do not receive a reply from them within the next seven days, I will be compelled to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

She stated that due to prescribed insurance issues, I would be able to get my doc visit waived if needed. The next week I had my first counselor meeting and found out that the meds in question are not covered at all unless you are type 2 diabetic. Fine so I contacted Calibrate that day with concerns with no response.

After 26 times of trying to contact in 11 days via calls, emails, apps contacts, Twitter, and Instagram a person finally responded after 11 days. It was an altered standard email of they have 90 days to continue working on doing something before a refund is an option minus the $250 that the doctor said she would waive. Mind you this is on day 46 of this lengthy journey. Why is it so hard for a company to communicate with its clients/customers? Why is a support company not supporting us? Because they don't know how and have removed that option as of January's layoffs.

Things I learned: always google complaints, always call the numbers provided and see if someone is on the line, always make sure that you get everything in writing, and always call insurance and ask what would be needed to get a med like this covered each month (because it could be lengthy each and every month for approvals) and if they do not respond file a dispute via your bank.

Hopefully this post will help, as I have see others scammed out of their money as well from other reports on other websites.

Like others on here, my insurance company "approved" my glp-1. It will cost me $1478. This is not realistic. Calibrate's only response to my concerns has been to quote their refund policy. Coaching is 15 minutes of their script....not much concern for the realities of my situation. I debated about signing up for this for quite a while. I should have trusted my gut. DO NOT DO IT!!!

I have joined Calibrate a little over one year ago and have very much enjoyed the program and the results obtained, however, I have experienced difficulties in getting the medication - there is always an issue with the insurance, the doctor's approval and therefore, I have abruptly interrupted the treatment on several occasions.

Communicating with Calibrate team is almost an impossible mission - the only way to reach out to them is via the app chat - you send them a message and it takes 2 to 3 days minimum for them to reply back to you. The coach is not a great help either, when it comes to medication matters. It can be extremely frustrating for the patient not getting the answers and the guidance from the Calibrate nurses and doctors since it takes them a long time to reply to your message.

I have tried calling them in the past without success.

Again, the program is good, and the results are also good, but they need to focus on the communication. They need to be available to the patients and have a more effective communication. It is unacceptable to have to wait 2 or 3 days to get an answer. I am currently waiting for an answer from them as to the approval of my medications. I have been out of the medication for 5 weeks now - in fact I have just renewed my plan and I am hoping to get an answer ASAP if not, I will cancel my plan.

Honestly, they had my insurance info from day one. They would’ve known that my insurance would not cover any of these medications - so honestly, they should never have let me get to the point of evening having a doctor's appt which alone costs $250. Despite prior auths at they claim take a while, all they had to do was call my insurance company like I finally ended up doing, and ask if any of these meds would be covered for weight loss as I do not have diabetes.

I have been requesting a refund from the program because Calibrate was unable to provide a low cost GLP-1 within the 90 day period as advertised and promised. They have completely ghosted me and zero communication. I will now turn to the BBB and see if I can get them involved to get my refund. This company is not sustainable as is. ALL insurance providers are declining GLP-1 medications.

I started with Calibrate in August 2022. While the coaching is great the rest of the process is nothing but a headache. They prescribed medication that I haven't been able to get filled since January (it's now May). I left several messages and nobody is getting back to me. Horrible customer service. I had labs done about a month ago and nobody has contacted me regarding the results. I finally had to get my primary dr involved and get me the prescription. Thankfully he was happy to help but said for the money I am paying they really should be the ones handling this and tracking the progress. So unfortunately, due to the ridiculous customer service I would not recommend this company. Find another company that actually cares about their customers' health.

Was very excited to join Calibrate and it started great. Met with doctor after I got my labs. Got me started on ** right away. Then the trouble began. Kept getting messages that GLP1 was approved. Found out it was approved at 100% cost to ME - $1600+ a month. Also, it is almost 90 days out from start and they have yet to schedule me with a coach. What the heck am I paying for? There is no good way to reach them, they do not respond to messages on the app and I am ready to call an attorney. The day I hit the 90 day (their guarantee or money back timeline), I will be calling one.

I signed up with Calibrate about 3 months ago and my insurance company granted an authorization for **, 0.25mg/1.5 ml pen. Unfortunately the maker of ** no longer makes the 1.5 ml pen and I was told by PillPack that Calibrate would need to request another insurance prior authorization for me to get the 3 ml pen. I relayed this to Calibrate via the customer care app and on the 17th of March, they responded by saying that my request had been sent to their medical team. To this date, no new prior authorization request has been sent to my insurance company so I have decided to cancel the service. I have sent two cancellation requests in via the email that Calibrate provided and I have reached out via the app but have heard NOTHING.

The premise behind Calibrate is a good one but they clearly cannot execute the customer service or product delivery aspect of this. I am recommending that my wife cancel the service and we’ll instead see if our PCP can assist. In the meantime, I need Calibrate to cancel my service. The coaching isn’t worth the money and I’d already lost 30 lbs. on my own by following the DASH diet and working out; I’d hoped the GLP1 would speed my progress up some… Wouldn’t recommend this service.

I have used every line of communication possible with this company and can’t get an answer. I signed up for the program and was told that I would get my lab orders within 48 hours. It’s going on 2 weeks with no answer. I have an appointment with a Calibrate doctor on May 18 that requires blood work results. I can’t get the orders for the testing but I’ll be charged for the doctor visit. I should’ve believed all of the reviews about the poor customer service. I just want to start the program but can’t get any help. I’m very disappointed.

I was initially so excited to start the Calibrate weight loss program, thinking that I might finally be successful in shedding this extra weight. At more than 90 days from my initial virtual doctor's meeting during which my lab work was reviewed, etc., I have been prescribed **, but only immediately after I complained to the coach of my disappointment of no progress on medication and little to no communication, and when messages are acknowledged (as there is no other way to communicate with Calibrate) the replies are “canned”, wholly unresponsive to the message.

In fact, I learned that a more desirable medication was available through my insurance, and although the cost is more than $25, I was not given the opportunity to pay out-of-pocket. I have requested the other medication, indicating that I have verified my cost and agree to pay but it is now 7 days and I have yet to receive a reply. It will soon be 5 months since I started /paid Calibrate in full. That balloon of optimism has certainly deflated and I feel scammed.

I signed up for Calibrate based on their marketing materials saying that they would diligently pursue getting GLP-1 medication covered by insurance, that over 95% of their customers got GLP-1 medication covered by insurance, and if they couldn't get it covered by insurance within 90 days of the medical visit they would give a full refund (less $250). It's now been 117 days since my medical visit, and (no surprise here) my insurance company declined coverage. Several weeks ago when I requested the refund they just stopped responding. I'm giving them a little more time before trying small claims court. Just want others to know that Calibrate violates its contracts and isn't trustworthy.

I joined Calibrate to help lose some weight as I’m post partum and unable to shed any weight. I thought the program covered the cost of medication. Some insurances cover and some don’t. If your insurance doesn’t cover, it’s 500-1300 a month just for the medication not including Calibrate program. After I signed up to this day one month later I never received a lab order. Ever. You cannot start the program without labs. I emailed multiple times and still nothing so I decided to cancel. I finally emailed to cancel due to no ability to call. Still no replies. Three weeks in I get sent a box to jumpstart but still no labs. I sent the box back and have been asking to cancel. I was just told I would still be charged 250$ for just pushing sign up Even though no one replies to my emails and still no lab order. I would check with insurance first to make sure you can afford the meds then if you lock go be ready for terrible customer service and a 200$ plus fee for alien magic.

I participated in almost a complete year of the Calibrate program and would not recommend. Their coaching is great but they are weeks out on responding to medical needs or customer service needs. Took nearly a month to get a response from their medical team when I was having issues with the medication. This is a serious medical problem. I reached out through their app regarding my concerns and it took nearly a month for them to respond to my concerns. Even though the program and medication is good for weight loss, it does not make up for very poor customer service. Especially when investing hundreds of dollars. I suggest you look at other weight loss programs.
