Affordable Dentures in Lakewood Colorado. I have only 4 teeth on the top of my mouth. This causes me to be pretty depressed. Maybe this is why I fell for it. I went to my free consultation, this I found out later was free because they would get money later. I explained to them I have been told I have a lot of bone loss so worry I am not able to get this done. The doctor came in after the 2d exam and explained to me he could do one with 4 implants. Although not the one I wanted as I want the nonremovable, these were affordable and could be done. They then come in and give you a sheet with the full plan.
The start is a 3D exam and radiology report to put implants in a safe spot. It cost 500 dollars upfront. My panic hit, I again told them I was told due to bone loss I couldn’t have implants so I was afraid to pay the 500. I was reassured that it’s just to find the placement. “He wouldn’t start it if he didn’t think he could help you” I was told. So I paid the 500 and went home super excited. I drained money from my 401k knowing I’ll have tax penalties but didn’t care because finally I would have dentures that didn’t fall out and could eat normal.
A week later they called to set up an appt for my impressions, but when the lady said “In case” I’m a candidate I panicked. I said, "So you're not sure he can do this?" She said, "Pretty sure but he still needs to review 3D but he likes to be ready." Well that would be another 400, thank goodness my gut said wait. I was told they could not help me but they would give me a referral to a surgeon. So they got 500 to tell me what I told them? Why have a free consultation? Is it to make you pay for one after because anywhere else after a free consultation if they can do it they set it up, if they can’t they don’t. So just know the free consultation does not matter, you will get no real answer until you pay the 500. Truly sad and suckered.

Multiple "attempts" to correct issues, everyone has failed. Told to do one-thing by corp. Then does what they want. Never gets any better. Only worse. I have been trying for years now to get my dentures to fit and sit properly. I have no idea why they keep fixing broken dentures time and time again. When I first transferred my account from Fresno CA to Tulsa OK for my implants that was a whole ordeal itself with one Dr not wanting to release the funds to the new office, not helping by talking to the Fresno Dr directly only through email. But eventually it was done and started all the issues.
Soon after they were put in before my washers were put in they cracked. Then the office refused to service them because it was from another office which they knew when they transferred my account. I dealt for weeks without my teeth and Virginia ** from home office then said that she would speak to the office and approve to create a new set of bottoms to fix the broken ones. I get to the office and they did not have my shade of teeth (different vendors) and then they said they can take all the teeth out and place them in the new mold. I agreed to try and not be difficult and trusted in them.
When this was done my bite felt even worse off but they said it will feel tight. 1 month later my top set started to lose teeth told by a desk agent to super glue it in (BTW THAT VOIDS WARRANTY) but don't tell anyone. Once again 3 months after the bottoms crack again. I call the office. They said to bring them in and they will repair. I explain the bite is what's doing this. They said they would look at it and correct. Then I call V. **. After much explaining and deliberating, She said that she would have the office create me a complete new set. I go in and the prostatiton and dentist said that, "This is a easy fix. We can adjust the teeth again and reset the bite with a reline etc." I heard them say that they were backed up and didn't want to create a new set.
Once again thinking that it may work and not be too difficult I agree. Again even know V. ** said a full new set, they did what they want instead of what was told. The bite hurt my implants and started to ache after he did his fix. Another tooth fell out of the top. I called. He said use the mouthwash and if doesn't get better let him know. Well it started to feel better then I pulled my bottoms out to clean and with it came a implant. At that point I was DONE. All the money that was put into the teeth and I never, never had a secure fit. With teeth that never fitted I had to overfill the top teeth with denture past to compensate for the bottoms, causing me to choke on the denture paste when it leaks down my the back of my mouth. They never listen, they do only what they want.
I have medical disorder that has me to make limited interactions with people and hearing the office say they don't know what they can do for me and saying they fix things when it's outside of warranty without payment. Made me feel less that I just wanted to run out of the office so belittle and overwhelmed. I never demand free repairs but I begged and pleaded with the office to correct what they broke. I called customer service again. I couldn't reach V. ** anymore and the person who I spoke with said there is nothing that can be done at their level anymore and said he will note the account but it is considered closed. At this point I begged the office further to help me. I mean begged.
They told me to come in and they would repair the implant. Then I came in. He said, "What do you want me to do? Fix it or take it out?" I didn't pay for the service for you to take them out and at that time I shut down again and I just wanted out of there. He made a appt the following week to put it back in. Filed it down and said, "Come back in a couple of months to get the washer." Well they still didn't fit right. Once again explained to him again that If he would have done what V ** said to do we wouldn't be going through all this. He never recalled that but I explained in detail what happened. Then he went and talked to the staff and the staff pointed blame at someone and said they never relayed that message to them so they were never aware.
He then said, "Let me try and make this right, I know I can." Well it's been approx 2 to 3 months since my implant was put back in and TODAY MY TEETH CRACKED/BROKE AGAIN! I just can't keep doing this. I can't eat right, I can't chew my food properly, I swallow food whole or eat soup. It's doing havoc on my digestive system. This needs to be fixed at this point. I need a new top and bottoms or a full refund of the teeth and implants. The teeth in my mouth chew as good as Halloween vampire teeth.

There is no phone number for the actual dentist office so I had to make an appointment thru a representative in N.C. I drive 45 miles to the office only to find out they were closed! I called customer service back to find out what's going on and they didn't even have record of me having an appointment! So I angrily drive another 45 miles back home! I made another appointment but after reading all the negative reviews on them, I'm thinking it was a blessing in disguise that my appointment got screwed up and decided I am going to seek services with anyone but Affordable Dentures!

If it was possible I would give them an absolute minus 10 Stars. First off I go in the office. The staff that greeted me was polite that I will give them. Had X-rays done. Was waiting to see what the doctor would say. When he came in he had no bedside manner. I was leaning back in a chair and shook his hand and he said he would try to save a couple of teeth whatever. Was talking for a little bit and then walked out of the room. I don't know if it was an assistant I assume was telling me options I had. Then the doctor Vick walked in and I thought he was joking at first. He asked me why I squeeze his hand so hard when I shook it. Mind you the hand I shook with has been broken and operated on before and still has issues.
So when I shook his hand I was in the laying down position in the chair and he was standing up. Totally could not believe that I actually hurt somebody's hand. I even showed my wife how hard I shook his hand and she was like totally baffled. I was so irritated when I found out that he was literally being serious. I'm not going to lie. I told him to kiss my rear end. I would never intentionally try to hurt somebody but I got a feeling that something wasn't right to begin with. For he was apprehensive about even shaking and hand when he first walk in.
And all my business experience as that's the first thing you do when you greet somebody in a professional manner shake their hand. I really never meant to harm his hand and still now do not believe that that was the case. I would tell you this, I have a strong gut feeling from the time I was in there and only increase the longer I was there. Needless to say it ended with me telling him that there's no way I could have harmed him by the amount of pressure I squeeze with my hand on a handshake.
Again I've had surgery on that hand. I walked out. Told him I was leaving. He said, "Leave and don't come back," and that was that. No worries. They're so if you do decide to go to this dentist please beware if you have to shake his hand make sure you don't do anything but put your hand out there and let him shake it. I am totally floored and still cannot understand whatever got in this guy. If I really felt that I did something to her and him I would have apologized but there is absolutely no way that was possible when I shake hands my hands crackle.
Totally would never recommend this place and they don't even have somebody in there to put the dentures together let alone was they able to do anything at that point because their lab technician walked out apparently for no apparent reason. Warning warning warning very bad vibes here. 1 + the lady at the counter was very courteous and dealing with and when she did my x-rays was very courteous. After that it all went downhill. I pray you all read this because the way I feel right now I'm not sure how I want to feel. I'm angry yet I'm troubled because it was such an eerie feeling when I was in that room. I can't explain. I never put reviews up like this but I really want to stress anybody considering to go to this dentist reconsider. Bottom line is I had to initial consultation and that was the end of that. God bless.

Been struggling with getting my dentures since June. After waiting weeks for first appointment, came back for second appointment. Was told can't complete services because location was then closing for a week because first doc was fired. Asked me to reschedule at least a week after reopening since they'd need to catch up. So I rearranged my schedule. OK. Came back yesterday, Thursday, and the girl dropped my impression on the floor right in front of me, then told me to come back at 1:00. I asked if needed to redo the impression but she just brushed it off. As soon as I was 10 miles away, I was called back to redo the impression because they needed a better one. OK. So I return and make another impression, and left with pain, bleeding, and swelling. Told to return at 1:30 to get my new teeth. OK.
Unfortunately the dentures sat at an angle horizontally, and didn't allow me to close my mouth; there was a big gap between my upper and lower teeth. But I was told I was good to go... Fortunately I'd asked for a mirror before they scooted me out the door. So, I was then informed they'd have to make yet another mold, told they would be closed today, Friday, and to return Monday to make yet another mold. Another 3 days? Hmm. OK. Then informed they had no openings until 1:00 Monday, so wouldn't know if I would get dentures that fit until I returned Tuesday, 5 days later.
Apparently the providing my first satisfactory set of teeth is not priority after handing over my payment, and there are obvious issues with the lab work? In pain, weary, and confidence in Affordable dashed, I returned to implore them to notify me asap if any cancellations for Monday morning so can get my molds into the lab Monday (which would seems a little more fair and least one could expect?). A tech then told me if I can wait (after a 7 1/2 hour day at Affordable already) maybe they can try to adjust them. OK.
However, as I wait, I realize, that not only are they crooked in my mouth, and I cannot close my mouth, but the actual teeth are all slanted in the gums, not 90 degrees vertical, and not aligned correctly at the bottom, with one of the front teeth obviously set quite lower than the other. I wouldn't expect my own customers to pay full price for less than acceptable treatment or quality, but I haven't experienced the same standards at Affordable, despite my trying to work with them. So, although I would like to claim I am satisfied, I am astonished at the apparent lack of competence, customer concern and service so far, and still don't know if I will receive anything in return for my trouble, money, patience, other than more missed days of work!

I had dentures for 16 yrs but had recently lost a lot of weight. Since I receive SSI, I can't afford a lot. Went to Affordable Dentures in Cartersville GA. Staff was very nice. Got my dentures and was told that I would need adhesive for the bottom plate. Okay understood. Plate didn't even come close to fitting my gums. Went back and they filed them down. Still didn't fit. Went back again. Filed down again. Still didn't fit. Went back a 3rd time and was told that there was nothing else they could do.
Can't wear my bottom plate for more than a couple of hours at a time and that's with using a numbing agent! Can't eat anything with any substance. And can't afford to go anywhere else. I now have to wait until open enrollment for insurance and hope I can afford to upgrade to dental insurance at that time. The top plate also has to be adhesived in. And I mean all the way around the plate. Wanted to go back again and was told that I would be charged a fee! REALLY? Will not recommend this company.

DENTURES DO NOT FIT! DO NOT USE AFFORDABLE! #BOYCOTTAFFORDABLEDENTURES. My father went in for dentures, they are so loose he cannot eat healthy. The first time he went back they put a liner in the uppers to make them tighter, he is using a lot of Poligrip on both the uppers and lowers. He had teeth removed from the bottom and they waited for the gums to heal before measuring for dentures. It has been about 3 months and the dentures, especially the bottom are so loose it hurts him to eat because food gets stuck under the dentures. It is funny because on his first visit the Affordable dentist made fun of how loose his upper dentures were (he has had them for 4 years), they were done by a different dentist. On his first visit he was told by the dentist that the Affordable dentures would fit tight, they don't!
He went back again because he wants them to fix them, they told him to pay more money or come back in 5 months. It has been almost 3 months and they said another 5 months, their excuse is the swelling. There was no swelling in the uppers, he hasn't had in upper teeth for over 4 years, what is their excuse for the uppers not fitting. He did not get his dentures for over two weeks, not same day as advertised, he was okay with that because he wanted them to fit. He paid them in full, he has no dental insurance and paid in cash. In my opinion I think they are taking advantage of a fragile 90 year old man! Do not use this dentist and if you have no choice but Affordable, do not pay them in full until you are satisfied with their work!

They didn't fit right when they first put them in. They said it would be fine. A week later had to go back. Made a adjustment. Told the girl that it still wasn't fitting right. Said it will be fine. Two weeks later had to go back again. Then the fourth and fifth time. Very unhappy with the staff. They were making my dentures worse. I would not recommend this company. Save your money and go to a experience dentist. After a year of living with these dentures that didn't fit I went to real dentist. They were surprise to see how bad the dentures were made.

I saved to get dentures. Went to this company in Virginia Beach. Dentist decided I had 11 good teeth and recommended partials instead. So I went for the partials. First pulled teeth said one had to be surgically removed, but all those teeth were loose so didn't understand. I was then given temporary partials that had to be adjusted many times as they were always in a hurry to get me out so a new person could be seen. Then I got my permanent ones. They allowed 1 adjustment then they charge after that. I had no money for that. So I was left with too tight ones. I said at the time it was too tight but was told they would get looser. They didn't and it hurts bad to try to get them on. Taking them off felt like I was pulling out the real teeth and it hurt a lot.
I have not been able to wear them yet. Paid over $4000 for them. They just don't care. What shoddy work they do as long as you pay upfront the whole cost. So they got my money and I am stuck with the permanent partials. I am still wearing the temporary ones. It has been over 4 years and I just can't afford the adjustments. I never recommend this office of this company.

Secondly, they make you wait 9 months instead of 7 to heal your gum after pulling out original teeth. Final product (ultimate fit) break after 2 months in the mouth while eating pasta. Low quality material!!! Fighting to get our money back. :((

My heart goes out to people who have had a negative experience with Affordable Dentures. I’ve heard that the location of the different offices matters, and this must be right, because I have had a positive experience overall at the Cedar Rapids location. I had 22 teeth extracted and immediate dentures placed in May, 2017. The dentist there is a little spitfire — Dr ** — and she worked like a dog extracting my teeth. At the same time she was also gentle. The procedure didn’t leave me with bruises on my chin and jaw caused by the dentist leaning on you.
They placed my immediate dentures and I was pleased with the results. Over the past year I’ve had several relines as my gums have healed and that worked well. Finally, my gums healed up enough for the permanent denture and I love my smile. My bottom denture seems a bit loose, but they offer free adjustments within 100 days of getting the denture, so I’ll be heading back for the adjustment. I’ve had a really positive experience with this location (Cedar Rapids). The price, service, and quality can’t be beat.

BEWARE: I have purchased the most expensive denture offered called the "Ultimate Fit Package". Upper denture only at $1200.00. This is my experience in this office. I went in for my first visit at Affordable Dentures in Shelbyville, with Dr. Marvo **, in October 2017. My upper teeth had already been extracted 2 months earlier at a local dentist office in Lewisburg. I spent a lot of time researching all of the available options online at Affordable Dentures in Shelbyville, TN., before contacting them to set up an appointment. I purposely chose the "Ultimate Fit Denture" because it was supposed to fit every contour of my mouth, the oral topography was touted as being "second-to-none" plus it comes with a 7 year warranty.
I went in for my initial appointment and was fitted for the immediate denture. That denture fit my mouth fine and I was happy that I could speak clearly with it in my mouth. However, when I got home I was practicing speaking in front of the mirror and noticed that the teeth were not visible at all when I spoke. All that could be seen while I was speaking was my bottom teeth. I called the office the next morning to let them know about this issue and was very grudgingly given a return appointment to correct the problem. I was chastised on the phone while explaining the situation and also on that return appointment that I hadn't told Dentist ** about the issue during my original appointment.
Dentist ** was very agitated that I had returned to have this problem corrected. He was extremely condescending and impatient with me during that entire visit. He brought his lab technician into my exam room where he began telling her that I had also had an issue with the original denture that the lab from the Lewisburg dental office had created for me. They were actually smirking at each other while they were discussing me. I was humiliated and incensed but I held my tongue as Dentist ** had already told me that he didn't think that he could satisfy me. He had told me that he would refund my money and that I could go someplace else for a denture! I was absolutely shocked by his behavior when clearly his lab had not placed the teeth in the correct position.
I was polite and felt that I had to walk on eggshells with him at this point as I still needed the immediate denture redone so that it could be seen while speaking and because he held the future of my permanent "Ultimate Fit" denture in his hands. I was NOT trying to be a trouble-maker. The lab reset the teeth in the immediate denture and all was fine until I went back on May 25, 2018 to have the molds done for my permanent "Ultimate Fit" denture. I told Dentist ** that the mold fit loose in my mouth. He told me not to worry about the fit that I just needed to tell him if it hurt. It didn't hurt. It was loose.
I picked up my permanent denture on May 30, 2018. It did not fit. It was falling down onto my tongue while in the exam chair. He told me that he would set another appointment and redo the denture. Once again he told me that I couldn't be satisfied! Hello, the denture was falling out of mouth upon pick-up. He left the room and sent his assistant in to inform me that I could be given a $445 refund. Meaning I have paid $755 for an immediate denture period.
I called Affordable Denture customer service. They can do nothing. These offices are independently owned. So, I returned the ill fitting denture today, had the $445 refund credited to my Care Credit account. I had to sign a paper stating that the dentist had done nothing wrong and that I would not sue him to get the $445 refund. Proceed at your own risk. That's all that I'm saying.

WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO GO TO BELIEVE ME. THEY PULLED 10 TEETH. That's where everything started to go south. I purchased the ultimate dentures. So first you start off with economy set. 5 plates later nothing fit, Some bizarre looking teeth, Lots of pain sores. Nothing fit right. Every time it went to lab came back crooked, warped, and fit worse. One set the was very crooked they as they said Mcgyvered it to fit in my mouth. What a joke. I kept hearing different excuses on why they did not fit. Some blamed my jaw bone, others my bite, and kept trying to sell me implants as that was going to help the upper fit. Some blamed the lab. Many times the lab was behind as they are short staffed I was told multiple times.
They caused TMJ, loss of other teeth due to improper fit and undue pressure. Never had so much trouble with anything in my life. The stress was terrible. Always in pain no smile. But still am waiting for my final at Affordable. Not sure what to do get it or not. HOPING TO GET REFUND. But don't think they will do it since it's over the 100 days. Very sad. I also was assured that the ultimate plate would be so different. One year of major stress over 30 visits out $1900... Went elsewhere and got one that fit first try, They made me a plate that looks and feels good. On the first try for much less. So people save yourself suicidal thoughts from all the stress they put you through. Go elsewhere!

We are very disappointed today. I hate putting our dirty laundry on Facebook but if it can help someone else then it is worth it. A little over 1 yr old Evan started his journey to a beautiful smile at Affordable Dentures in Cedar Rapids. His teeth were bad and made him very self-conscious. We went in and were presented a set of packages, we choose the second least expensive, Economy Plus. In buying this package we had $3800 tied up in teeth. This had to be paid in advance before they would do any work at all. This paid for teeth extraction, a set of temporary teeth to wear while the swelling went completely down (1 yr) and then he would receive his permanent teeth after 1 yr. Everything had to be paid for upfront.
On Friday Affordable Dentures called to confirm his appointment for today. While on the phone they informed Evan we owed $193. Evan said no we paid upfront. They say no this is our balance. We have received no bills over the last year. Anyone that knows me knows I am anal about paying bills. Well on Friday Evan had 3 conversations with Affordable Dental and the bill changed with each call. So onto today... We had to be in Cedar Rapids at 7am. Evan works tonight so we drove up last night and stayed here in town. He is at his appointment at 7 and back to the hotel room at 8:30am. No new teeth. The bill is now almost $900. They say we did not buy a package, that he now needs to buy a package. If we do not pay 900 then no teeth. Evan had to pay the money. He is getting his teeth.
I called the main office to request all of Evan's past and present paperwork be sent home with him. They said they do not have it but the office he is at should have it. Called Evan and told him I needed him to bring all this paperwork home with him. I am betting we get no paperwork. I will be going home to see if I can find the folder with his paperwork but I am betting it is gone. I am pretty sure hubby had it and WELLL he is not the best at keeping track of stuff. DO NOT GO TO AFFORDABLE DENTURES. This is getting very expensive. I am disappointed and disgusted. With myself and this crappy business.

Hello, I hate to leave a bad review about anything but I started my "new teeth" adventure in May 2017, my husband had paid upfront for the ultimate fit package and I was 100% sure there were no teeth solid enough to leave in my mouth, but, they (Dr **) & Staff did. I feel from what was told to me by the Dr., the bottom front 6... they are absolutely not supposed to be in my mouth and after the horrible almost year of no teeth except for the rotted bottom and being told one thing yet getting the exact opposite when the appointment took place and at the end of the journey to get my permanent's on top and a very sketchy partial which had already poked a hole through the enamel on my own tooth, repeated calls and in person visit being told that I "had to wait until they fall out"..??!! REALLY?!
I have never had teeth in my mouth to eat properly and I had waited a long time for the dentures, to be treated like I'd not paid a dime yet I had paid upfront in full?! I am not able to get past the very rude phone answerer "Phyllis", nor do I care to at this point. I really wanted to give them a awesome review yet, in fairness to the next person who is like me, I say to you... GO TO ANOTHER DR!!! This place has been a long unfunny joke, I have a beautiful set of top teeth I'm so proud of that I can't wear without discomfort in my bottom front teeth that were too "much to deal with"?!!!
This point is not worth your time money or sanity! They think I will be back to have them do my bottom set... NOT EVEN CLOSE! My husband has to have his done yet was treated with respect only by the overzealous "phone answerer" & overall I wish I had gone to the one in Denton, Texas because they are giving. The Wichita Falls, Texas branch is a joke! I am highly disappointed and frustrated and disgusted by the entire process but mainly because of the branch I went to.

We paid for extraction and dentures and it was for 2 sets one to wear until gums heal and so we did but it took so much time because they said not ready on gums. This went on & on and then they would NOT answer their phone when we called for the permanent set (we paid for) and they would not return messages. So 2 years have gone and I am left with the first set used until gum set and they are awful and this place is in Odessa, Texas. They are cheats and liars.

WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO GO TO BELIEVE ME. 1 YEAR AGO 04/09/2017 THEY PULLED 8 TEETH. That's where everything started to go south. I purchased the ultimate dentures. So first you start off with economy set. 5 plates later nothing fit, Some bizarre looking teeth. One set the mid-line was very crooked. What a joke. (It looked as I was walking sideways.) I kept hearing different excuses on why they did not fit. Some blamed my jaw bone (which is not unique). Some blamed the lab. One of the dentists said on plated number 3 before it came out of the cup, "Oh good JR made them," so of course I asked, he said "when things come out of the lab with the initials JR on them I can breathe easier." I'm thinking, "Great only 1 guy in the lab who does a good job."
I also was assured that the ultimate plate would be so different. SAME CRAP JOB OR EVEN WORSE... I never got to pick out the teeth like they said I would be able to. NOTHING is as you are told. I did receive a partial refund big ** deal. One year of major stress over 20 visits out $1900. I went to Comfort Dental on Lomas. They made me a plate that looks and feels Perfect. On the first try. I did find out Affordable Dentures does not custom fit dentures. They have 3 mold sizes small, medium & large and depend on relines to fill the gap. So people save yourself suicidal thoughts from all the stress they put you through. Go elsewhere!

Went in Affordable Dentures in Covington Louisiana off Pinnacle Parkway to have upper and lower partial repaired. Was told I needed new ones and two teeth extracted. I did need two teeth pulled so dentist gave me antibiotics and told me to come back in a couple of days so I did. The extraction hurt really bad even though my mouth was numb. The next morning once the numbness wore off I realized dentist had pulled one of the wrong teeth. He pulled a wisdom tooth that wasn’t bothering me. Went to office to complain then went to my dentist who cleans my teeth and he told me that the dentist at Affordable Dentures should have never tried to pull my wisdom tooth. That an oral surgeon should have done that. I was in so much pain my blood pressure was super high. Dentist at Affordable Dentures only gave me ** 800 mg so my regular dentist had to give me pain medication once my mouth was healed.
I put my upper and lower partials in. Went to eat and top ones were so loose I almost swallowed them. A few days later I was taking bottom partial out and it broke in two. Went the next day for them to repair them and dentist at Affordable Dentures told me I needed another wisdom tooth pulled. I told him he wasn’t pulling another tooth of mine so partial was repaired and 3 days later I was taking it out and it broke again.
Today March 27 2018 I went back for them to fix them again and he had his nurse tell me he would not fix them again until I had that wisdom tooth pulled. A tooth that is not bothering me. Then tonight I took upper partial out and wire to hold it in broke. In the meantime earlier today when I was at Affordable Dentures I ask for a refund for my bottom partial. Was told that corporate would have to ok a refund. Called corporate today and they told me it was up to the Affordable Dentures place that I went to refund me my money so the Affordable Dentures lied just to get me out of there because I was very upset. I will be consulting my lawyer tomorrow. If I would have read the reviews I would have never set foot in that place. Read the reviews. They are absolutely a nightmare.

I had the procedure done about 5 years ago and I'm down to one implant left. After the other 3 failed, I can say that one of them was my fault but the others I just feel were not seated properly and from what I researched I think 2 of my implants the dentist burned the bones so they inevitably failed. In fact the 1st one failed within 6 months and I knew walking out the day of the procedure something wasn't right with it but I was told it was just "healing".
Fast forward to today cause I need to have my bottoms all ripped out and the same thing done. I come to find a new dentist has taken over and they yanked the license of the guy who did mine which makes me think should I try the legal route because of what happened? Cause now the new dentist wants me to basically get a whole new full mouth of dentures and all new implants, and this was after paying almost 8k out of my pocket as I don't have insurance. So basically 5 years later have nothing to show but a clip on denture that's only held in with 1 implant now and a whole lotta glue.

I did recommend them. But please understand my frustration. Just got 9 teeth extracted in November. Went through a whole bunch of adjusting and was even able just to walk in a few times because I was already in the area. They were starting to fit pretty good. Then the dog ate them!? So I had to buy new ones. Got them made and picked up the next day for them not to fit right. Which I suspect is normal till you get them adjusted just right. Then the dentist gets arrested. Then the office gets shut down.
Call patient services for them to direct me to another AD which is almost two hours away. Drive there for a 7:30 a.m. appt for them to tell me that they aren’t taking any patients from my office that got shut down. But he had went there and helped clean that office and felt bad for me so he went ahead and did the adjustment for me. Went home and called the patient services for them to tell me I can’t go till April 16th. Call the actual office a hundred thousand times to be redirected back to patient services.
Tried today to go to another office even farther away and patient services told me that I had to know the zip code of the office I was trying to schedule an appt with. Hung up. Tried to call the farther away office myself to be redirected back to patient services again. And tell them again what I want to do and with another representative on the phone he knew the number and zip code! Anyway long story short, I’m very flustered! I haven’t even had my hard alignment. I have had one adjustment made on this denture. I am in pain and work with the public. I can’t wait till April 16th for a two minute adjustment.

Disgusted with the service. Went for top denture ended with top and bottom partial, with 7 extractions, the temporary partials poorly made, pinch my cheek. The metal hook on top not lined up to fasten on tooth, crooked and cutting into my lip, $2800 dollars, the dentist shot me up with ** numerous times. No gum numbing prior, had 7 extractions, then told me to come back 4 hours later for the temporary partials, shoved into my mouth, look like baby teeth, not even checking the metal hook lined up with tooth it fastens on, sent me on my way. Said not to take the partials out for 24 hours, they act as a seal to heal. I looked in mirror on the hour ride home, the pinching, tearing of my lip, was already experiencing issues!
The dentist was rough, and just concerned about rushing through it, there was no dental lab for dentures just an employee taking impressions and mixing things upon on counter outside the rooms, I even had to use the suction tool myself as my teeth were being pulled, I have never experienced anything like this in my life! No assistant to dentist, there were three staffed at this office, the dentist, the girl doing impressions, x-rays, and fabrication of partials and dentures, and lady taking appointments, phone calls, and payments. Lots of people in and out for adjustments, which explains a lot.

Affordable Dentures DeSoto, Tx - Dr. Simeon **, DDS & his staff were the absolute worst I've ever had the non privilege of dealing with! I chose the economy dentures for my top denture. I had 2 teeth that were normal extractions yet they charged the $115 complicated extraction charge with NO explanation. The denture that was being replaced was pretty white. When the tech saw it, she immediately said, "your dentures won't be this white!" Now I'm sure if someone was paying for their ultimate package, they could get their dentures as white as they want them!
The absolute worst part of my visit to this dentist was the lack of any empathy to the patient in his chair, ME! As he was injecting meds to numb the area around the 2 teeth to be extracted, I was literally screaming & fighting to get out of the chair! Wouldn't that give any caring doctor cause to stop? No! This dentist never spoke any kind words in my worst nightmare sitting in a dental chair with him driving my pain!! His dental assistant was just as bad! "Keep your mouth open, Ma'am!"
When the horrific extractions were completed, the "so-called dentist, Dr. Simeon **, DDS," inserted the new denture in my mouth & left the room without a word spoken to me. The blindfold kept in place, my tears of pure anguish & terror pouring down my face, was finally removed. I ran out of this office as fast as I could!! I sat in my car for a good 15 minutes screaming in agony & total terror of what had just happened to me. My daughter, who drove me to this appointment, trying to understand me in the hysterical status I had been driven to by this dental experience.
I am diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, depression & anxiety. This so called doctor took none of that into consideration in caring for me. If you have childhood or past bad dental experiences, this is the last place to choose for dental care!! I only write this review to prevent anybody else from experiencing such horrible treatment. The staff of this office is rude & uncaring! It's not about good dental care. It's about the all mighty dollar.

She inserted dentures over it that were way too large, did not fit then nor 1 week later still does not. They told him they were temporary and to wear them and come back in 6 months for the permanent set. Then he discovers that the tooth is still there just broken off at the level of the gum. When she was pulling them it was very painful to him and she was so rough with him. I paid over $1800.00 for this and he still has broken teeth in his mouth and dentures he cannot wear. I purchased my dentures from Affordable Dentures about 3 years ago after breaking my lower plate in half. I have had several sets of dentures over the years wearing them for 10 to 15 years for each set. I purchased them from local dental offices. I went to Affordable Dentures as their ads stated they repair broken dentures. I found out they only repair their own dentures. I had to buy new dentures. They start me off with the "economy" grade and told me they may not be able to make them fit properly and suggested I take the next up. I did and they were miserable. The fit was awful on the bottom plate. Adjustments after 30 days were $25.00 and after numerous visits and months I adjusted them myself which took awhile. I finally got them right and I broke a tooth. They repaired it free because it was less than a year, almost a year later I broke a different tooth which cost $115.
This time, less than a year later, I broke the same tooth repaired the first time, another $115. I called for an appointment and had to wait a week. I got there and I never saw the dental tech. I stood at the desk, in public, told to remove my dentures and put them into a bin in front of everyone in the office. I have been married 47 years and my wife has seen me without my teeth only a few times when I was sick. At any rate, I was told they would be done at 3:45 and asked to come inside to the side of the desk where they charged $115. Pay in private but remove your teeth in public. At Affordable Dentures, the patient is a number, nothing more or less. When I tried to talk to them about this being the third tooth breaking, they said sorry but $115. When I said I would not be back for new dentures they said "sometimes that happens. See you at 3:45". There is no customer service, only a number.

01/25/2018 - First of all I feel I was overdosed when having the six extractions done, I did not wake up for over 24 hours. I told the tech this and was told this happened to some people. I was in so much pain I have had several teeth removed in the past many more than 6 and never felt pain like this. On 01/29/2018 I went in and I was told I was just healing, we tried these so called temporary dentures that were so big I couldn't get in my mouth. 02/06/2018 I went back still in so much pain. Have not ate anything besides smashed potatoes, and cream of wheat since the start of this whole thing. I had so many pieces of bone sticking out of my gums it was very painful just touching my mouth. On 02/09/2018 3 days later I went it for a alveoloplasty. This is when they split your gums open and shave the bone straight or so I thought wrong, but the pain of bone sticking out of my gums was gone.
On 02/13/2018 I went in to have the last stitch removed and to have another temporary made, the impression was taken only of the lower. They stated the top was perfect. Just needed adjusting. I was told to come back in about an hour and a half for try on. When I came back in they put this thing in my mouth that no way fitted. The left side was on a downhill slope. Teeth not aligned at all. The Dr. came in looked at the teeth and put more stuff on it to build it up. I guess that's what he did. I was then told to come back later that afternoon to pick up the temporary. Guess what? There was no way these so called temporaries were going to fit in my mouth. The assistant who I will say is a very sweet lady told me to come back if I needed more adjustments done.
On 02/19/2018 I went to my husband's dentist. Needless to say assembly line dentistry is not for me. To make a long story short I listen to my gut feeling. Going to get a second opinion. I'm scheduled for surgery for a true alveoloplasty to clean up this mess on 02/28/2018, and to place my implants, I was also told that I would not be able to wear any denture for at least 8 weeks to 4 months. I will also add you get what you pay for. Instead of this costing me $7,658.00 it is now over $12,000.00. I will see if I can get the money I paid up front for the dentures back. One last thing if this is how I was treated paying top dollar, how are the people who can only afford the cheapest denture, and have no other choice being treated.

First of all I went to an office in Pleasant Prairie, WI, they give you their speak. The dentist tells me they will make the plates and if you are not satisfied they will correct them. If you still aren't satisfied with them they will make you knew. Horrible office, they had no tech to make them because he quit or got fired. They had a temp in there which she was nice and helped me with what I wanted (it is my mouth after all). After my permanent ones were made she went back to where she came from and the tech made them way too large, I couldn't even close my lips together, the right front tooth was made right in the middle of my mouth which made me look like a rabbit. I was so aggravated with them that I told them I would sue them, they immediately gave me my money back.
After all that I went to the original place which is in Milwaukee, WI, I had a partial made years prior, same speech and all the mumbo jumbo. The top teeth turned out nice, they apparently can't work from scratch because they used my crappy dentures that were years old. I forgot to mention so did the last place, my old dentures were way too small and on a slant and completely crooked.
Anyways they promised me they would make it correct that they were just using them because they would get a better impression. Wrong. The bottom teeth came out exactly like the old set except straighter than the old ones. They were still too small and didn't match up to the top teeth which cause an overbite. Horrible work and I've been back twice, the dentist wouldn't even listen to me and insisted that's how they should be. Also said he would not make me a new bottom denture and told me he would refund me. Apparently they should change their slogan to here's your money back because we aren't going to replace your dentures. Worst place and experience I've ever had in a dental office, I will be contacting their corporate office and see if I can speak to someone concerning the process they go through. Please take my advice and do not go there in the first place!!!

I haven't gotten any work done yet. I need 17 complex extractions which wasn't even covered by my 1500 dollar allowance with Delta Dental PPO. I was shown videos by a woman who barely spoke English and kept repeating herself. She tried to convince me, by showing me images that scared the hell out of me, that if I didn't get what turned out to be cosmetic bone grafts my face would basically look like that of a 60 yr old within a year. That would have been 4 times 200 bucks a pop; $800 I don't have. We didn't discuss alveoloplasty and it is included in my estimate approved by insurance. That also puts me over budget and I have been wearing a lower partial for a year; my gums feel smooth. This is for immediate dentures and I had no idea I could have the procedure done later if I end up needing it and have researched the topic and not everyone does.
I am thinking this is standard, just as the way Aspen Dental operates with their toothbrush and double cleaning. Now, I am a very anxious patient with a low pain tolerance. My only sedation option is ** and the dentist, as many in NY, does not want to prescribe pain meds. One I had contacted previously but cost too much said ** was offered. This lady said ** and **. Hell no. I have a bad back and I get nothing for that and am given the same advice and use ** for quality of life. I read heavy painkillers are prescribed the first few days with this procedure. If I need it, I will get it done later at a place that offers IV sedation and pain meds afterward, not when there is greater risk of dry socket. I would end up in agony and I would have to wait until the beginning of April if I sprung for this at the time of extraction as well. I want my damn teeth already.
Updated on 02/26/2018: Assistant really should speak and understand better English considering how much responsibility she is given. Receptionist is Jekyl/ Hyde. My 17 teeth were extracted Friday. Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday could not get them to stay put; were way too loose. Bone spur was taken care of and the dentist is nice overall. They tried to use one of my 2 relines covered for 5 years today at my post OP appt. Don't know how they managed it but I ended up with a severe overbite and donkey teeth so they removed the relines. Assistant put a bunch of Fixodent inside the teeth. I have struggled about 5 times a day for 20 minutes a stretch so they would stay in place.
I was told come back tomorrow after over 2 hours, crying my eyes out, and having hard plastic crammed into my gums over and over while I was assured by the staff they looked fine but I looked like I was beaten with an ugly stick. Dentist could see places they are crooked and will remake them but I was told to keep them in until next Tuesday when I go back. Had to take the bottoms back out an hour ago. They are way too long and hurt like hell in front; whose gums extend that far down?!? Hope this doesn't happen all over again next week. Is worse than the actual extractions!

I have been a denture wearer for 30 years. I have had good results from the practice in Columbia, MO, for 7 years. But when they raised their prices, I went to a practice in Sullivan, MO, which is 82 miles and an hour and 45 minutes from my home. Worth the drive to save a few hundred dollars, right? Wrong! On day 7 of the new dentures, they have a hole in the palate area. I never saw the dentist (Christopher **) although in my experience the dentist will typically look at your gums to ensure they are healthy. The tech who worked with me was bossy, rude, and refused to listen to me, even though my 30 years as a denture wearer surely qualify me to understand the process of being fitted for new dentures, to know when something is wrong, and to offer an educated opinion regarding the fitting and making of MY dentures.
When I was fitted with the wax try-in dentures, I told her they were too big and explained exactly where they needed to be smaller. She said, “Oh, these are just the try-ins, they don't mean anything.” Well, yes, they do. They are what the lab uses as the model for your dentures. While the wax model will obviously not fit exactly like your finished dentures, they should be close - not too large and painful when inserted. When the final dentures were done, they were of course much too large, and she hurt me when she shoved them into my mouth. She spent a minimum of 20 minutes filing them down where I told her they were wrong on the wax model. It's the wax you fix BEFORE you make the dentures. That's the entire point of the wax model. When the dentures were finally finished I told her there was a spot on the palate that was much too thin.
She said, “You have a Tori (it's a bony protrusion in the roof of the mouth; the roof of my mouth is just made a little weird) and if we make that part any thicker you'll have a huge bubble back there”. Well, that's not true, as for the past 30 years, I have had dentures made that are magically able to accommodate the Tori without a huge "bubble". Since she would not send the teeth back to the lab to have this thin spot reinforced, there is a hole in the exact spot I TOLD her was too thin. I have been wearing them for 7 days. She also sold me a "comfort liner" for the bottom teeth (an extra $165) that she applied after the teeth were made. She did an incredibly sloppy job; the liner is smeared all over the outside of the denture, and there's a spot in the back that wasn't smoothed down and is now an irritant.
I cannot tell the difference between my old dentures without the "comfort liner" and these - none at all. Since these ($1,060) dentures are now broken after 7 days of wear, I have to miss another full day of work, drive an hour and forty-five minutes (one way) to start all over again. In my experience, they will not be able to simply fix the hole, they will have to make an entirely new set of teeth, which means another 12 hours (counting driving time) wasted on them. I am so incredibly upset and angry over this experience. I want everyone to know that not all Affordable Dentures practices are the same. I will never use this one again, and will certainly never recommend it to anyone.

They just try to shuffle you out like cattle. The doctor (Dr. **) blows off everything you say and doesn’t act like she wants to be in the room more than 5 minutes. Now after almost 2 weeks my gums are still hurting and large chunks of tooth are starting to break through my gums. So since I live 80 miles away I went to waste time. I came back at 330. They told me they tried calling me to ask me to come after 5. The lab was having trouble and very behind. I said I will wait. So when they were ready I went back. The girl that was putting them in my mouth. I told her right away my teeth feel crooked inside. Top and bottom is hurting bad. So she takes out bottom grinds it, telling me to reinsert. I replied, "There's grit inside." She acts like I was wasting her time. She goes and rinses off. I ask, "Can you at least put powder to help hold? They are wiggling." She did. Well as soon as I got down the highway they were loose again. This is very unhealthy. I was told by her before I left give it 3 to 4 days to adjust. So I did. I called. Made appt on to get them readjusted.
I went in and this lady that helped me was nice but I felt very uneased, I told her my teeth are not correct. She said where. I said bottom hurts bad and top feels weird so she takes bottom out. After I point out the spot on 1 place she goes and buffs it down. Said it won't poke my mouth since she did. I showed her the difference in my old teeth and these. She said, "Well I can't do these like that. You are going to have to use adhesive constantly to hold in place." I never showed her defective top because how I was just brushed off.
When I got home I called the main office. Filed a complaint. Told them I want my refund, I cant wear these and according to warranty guarantee. I am very displeased. My top denture where the 2 front teeth are my gums are sitting on that, no cushion and the middle of denture that has the v in front is way off to the EYE tooth (not in center). I am so tired of driving 160 round trip just to get a runaround and laughed at and treated disrespectfully and hearing nothing but Spanish speaking to each other. And since then I have closed my credit card after it went through.

I am retired and live on Social Security and odd jobs so money is always short. I went to AD for a couple extractions and a lower partial. During the exam and initial treatment the dentist (Rebecca **) was very rough and acted like there was a very limited time she could bother with me. The injections to numb my mouth are very painful for me. The dentist actually had me in a headlock and kept giving me injection after injection (5 in total) non stop despite my objections and request to stop for a moment so I could breathe.
I went back there today because the temporary partial was cutting into my gums and creating ulcers at the points of contact. When I called for my appointment I also let them know that the partial didn't fit and kept falling out. The office staff suggested that I use the fixative they supplied. When I arrived there this morning the dentist started cleaning the adhesive from my mouth very roughly, including the areas where ulcers developed and my gum started to bleed from the rough treatment.
When I objected to the rough treatment she replied that I shouldn't use the fixative when coming in for an appointment. I told her that staff and suggested it and she basically called me a liar and kept up the rough cleaning. Time will tell if the permanent partial will fit and how much agony is yet to come. The person should not be a dentist, and is too rough to be a car or truck mechanic.

I Took my 83-year-old Mother, to Affordable Dentures in Myrtle Beach. She needed a few (5 or 6) teeth pulled and then dentures. Today marked her 8th or 9th trip there. Without a doubt, this is the worst run Healthcare office that I’ve ever visited. Unprofessional, rude, ignorant... and that’s just the Doctor. He spoke so rudely to my mom when she was in the chair, that I told him, “Don’t talk to my Mom like that. You are so disrespectful and ignorantly rude.” I thought about telling her... “Let’s get out of here.” If I had known the level of incompetence and rudeness that we were to encounter over the next few visits, we would have ran out of there. The Dr has no patience or respectfulness in his chair side manner. He was in such a rush and it was evident in all his behavior. Condescending, smart-ass remarks. No compassion. No concern. They schedule 6 or more patients at the same time. We had to wait 2-3 hours, for her to be seen every time.
While you’re in the waiting room the rude brash receptionist keeps her sliding window open, so no privacy as the patients check out. Everyone in waiting room hears everything between receptionist and patients, as well as her conversations on the phone. Once in exam room A saleswoman comes into the exam room, (none with doors, all just cubbyholes off the hallway.) I think doors would just slow down the employees running in and out. She explained all the different plans, and Mom spent over $1200 to get temporary dentures right away, then permanent ones later. Such crappy looking dentures, with a terrible fit. She had nothing but problems. They’ve relined and adjusted them a few times, but the dentures and other materials are so shoddy, that any benefits from the procedures only last a few days. If you want an inferior set of dentures, be sure to visit them.
If you like being treated rudely by a staff that hates their jobs and the company that employs them, be sure to visit. If you like waiting 3 hours AFTER your scheduled appointment, they will accommodate. Today, we waited 3 hours again, then after she went back, they told her they couldn’t do anything to help her with the terrible dentures. Mom, finally fed up with their tactics, told them she wanted a refund of her package. They would only refund $200 even though she still had not received her permanent teeth. They kept over $500 of her money and charged her $30 today for telling her that can’t do anything.
When I commented on how unprofessional their practice was... I was told to go outside with a rude hand gesture. My mom made a comment about the rudeness of the staff, and the receptionist told her she could just go stand outside and wait. Neither of us left until they gave her a pitifully small percentage refund. Mom said she was glad to pay $500 to have nothing further to do with them. OMG. Don’t go to this business location. Go to an actual Dentist that has no corporate ties. AVOID Myrtle Beach Affordable Dentures. Shaking my head.

I first went in to get a denture repaired. It went very well. I decided to get a replacement pair. They sold me on the most expensive set because I wanted implants in the future. On my first visit they took the mold. This took several attempts. This in turn irritated the Dr. On my second visit I was to try in the wax mold. They first came so large I could barely fit them in my mouth. They said it would be about 45min. They called me in for the second fitting and they came out with tiny teeth and the front 2 were completely rounded. I asked the Dr if he could square them off like my current pair. He told me they were just worn so I said, "Well yours are squared," and he said, "Well women are more curvy if you know what I mean."
I said I would still like it done and mentioned the size. Once again 45 min wait. They called me in the 3rd time, he placed them in my mouth and they were still small but squared off. They then sent me home to come back the next day. I live 45 minutes away. The next day there was new construction backed up for miles which put me 15 minutes late to my appt. I called and the receptionist was extremely rude. When I got there and went in for my fitting I told the Dr I hated them. He said, "I will not do another thing to them. If you don't want them just get your money back." I was floored because I am crazy non confrontational.
I just started to cry and said, "But the bottom teeth are laying over and you think that's normal" and he said that is all he can do. I just said okay, defeated. I signed a form and they told me to come back in 2 days. I walked in, the tech gave me the dentures. She asked how they felt. I said fine and she went to get me a cup to hold my backup dentures. I proceeded to put the new pair in the cup, she said okay and I walked out the door. A very expensive backup pair of dentures. Needless to say I have NEVER been treated so badly by any establishment. I will never return and would never recommend them to anyone. After reading reviews it sounded like we all saw the same rude Dr. Sad.

First I would like to say the people in the office were very nice. With that being said first trip impression, second trip wax impression, third trip dentures. I do not think a person that has never had a set of dentures should be making dentures young kid. They made me a set of dentures with baby teeth. The dentures were too long and choked me. The side of my dentures were too high and cut into my gums. If you look at my dentures they have thin spots you can see through. My dentures are too thick in some places.
I have had dentures since I was 12 so I know what I'm talking about. I was told I needed time for my dentures to adjust to my mouth. Not happy at all and I will not keep going back to get my dentures fixed. Waste of an entire day. I should have listened to the people that have went there and also were not happy. At my last visit, which started off as an 8 am appointment dragged on and I was told to come back at 12 pm then 1 pm d finally 3:30 pm. In the end they tried making 2 partials and neither fit!! I made an appointment about a month ago. It's over an hour travel from my home. Upon arrival at 730 am they didn't have me down for having an appointment. They did see me though and I got in fairly quickly. The 1st part of the appointment went well although they kept trying to get me to upgrade what I was getting done (5 teeth pulled and full set economy dentures).
I was excused at 915 ish and told to come back at 1030 to have the teeth pulled. When I got back there was a new receptionist who was rude. She had been having a private conversation when I arrived so I sat to wait until she was done. As soon as she was done she asked "and you are?" So I let her know and she promptly closed the window without saying anything else. Around 1130 the dentist himself came out and told me it would be about a half hr longer wait as he had a couple of emergencies come in. At this point I was a little aggravated but what could I do?
I was finally called in at 10 minutes to 1! Now I do have quite a bit of anxiety over the dentist which I explained to them this visit and at previous visits. I was taken back and numbed. When the dentist came in he didn't say a word literally just grabbed the pliers and pulled my mouth open and started yanking! I was taken back. He didn't even make sure I was numb or say a word! When he was done he shoved gauze in my mouth practically choking me, grabbed a wipe and wiped my face and walked out of the room. I was shocked. All this without saying a word.
An assistant came in and changed the gauze 2 more times and then came in a third time with the dentist. Again without saying a word she picked up an instrument to hold my lips away from teeth and the dentist leans my head back and opens my mouth. Saying nothing he proceeded to give me stitches. This time before leaving the room he hands me the sucker and tells me to suck the saliva not to spit. I just start crying and said I didn't know how. He said, "flip the switch," stuffed more gauze in my mouth and left. I felt like crap and of course at this point what can I do? After about 10 minutes another assistant comes in changes the gauze and tells me I can wait in the waiting room or come back at 2 pm for my dentures. It's about 115.
I go out to my car where I am still bleeding pretty good and wait. I go in at 2 and they take me right back. Change the gauze once again and we wait. About 230 they bring in the dentures and the assistant practically shoves them down my throat. I tell her to please take it easy and I put in my top denture. I have been wearing a full top plate for a few years.
She puts in the bottom with some stuff on it to measure for the reline. Mind you this is where the 5 teeth were pulled and now the ** is wearing off and they are pretty sore. Pulls them back out pulling on the stitches. I tell her that one side is rubbing and she said once the reline is on it won't and leaves to put the reline on. Comes in a few minutes later and puts them in pushing on them again aggravating the tender spots.
When asked how they feel I tell her the back is rubbing and digging into my gum. She said it was from being sore from the teeth being pulled. I said no it's a different spot. These dentures are bulky and huge. Not at all like the partial I had before and cut way down where the cheek and gum meet. I try to explain this to get which is hard because I'm still bleeding and sore as hell. She says they can do adjustments at a later date after my mouth heals a bit. I have to wonder how they can adjust something so big and bulky? The reline looks and feels terrible and they look so unprofessionally made. I understand they are the economical and therefore cheapest model but seriously I just spent 1200$ with you and get such crappy workmanship? Very disappointed with the dentures and the professionalism of the dentist himself and his staff.

Came in for my adjustment at 9:30 a.m. My dentures were made in another state. No problem they could adjust them. They ruined my $2500 dentures. Haven't had dentures since May. Have made 4 trips to Tupelo. 4 hours round trip each time. All the dentist offered me is $360 off a new pair of dentures. His excuse was that my other dentures were not made by them. Is the reason they couldn't adjust them. They shouldn't have tried. 1st pair was too short, painful. You could only see the ragged part of the tips on the top dentures. 2nd set of dentures were big bulky long down into my lower lips. Making me buck-tooth like Bugs Bunny. 3rd set is too big for my mouth. They fall out of my mouth even with adhesive.
On the 4th trip. New owner of the dental practice. Saw me as I was coming in the room. He just hit my shoulder almost knocking me over. That is considered simple assault. Leaned over right in my face and said, "You're difficult." Never returning to the room. Each time they insist that the dentures they made were perfect. When I called the service representative. She said I could make a complaint. Have a mediator. Kelly called from the office. I asked what his job title was. He said "umm sorta like Office Manager. Mmm I work I the lap." He giggled over speaking to other people as I was asking for my money again. I would like my $845. He said that the dentist would only give me back $425. So much for the 100 day guarantee.
My dentures that I came in with were ruined where I am unable to wear them. The dentures they make are see through. Taste like wax. Big bulky where I can't even close my mouth. Teeth are huge. Painful edges that make my gums bleed. I have no teeth that I can wear. New owner as of Jan of this year. He won't even speak to me. Won't return my money. Charging me for ruining my dentures I came in with. Just blowing it off because they were not made there. I want my money back. All of it. He should pay for my travel expensive. Plus for ruining my dentures that just needed adjusting. I'm on a fixed income. I have explained this to them on many occasions. The office staff and dentist still push the most expensive on you. I have observed the return of money in cash for 2 clients. 2 clients that waited all day for an adjustment. By any means should I be charged $360 for that dental office ruining my dentures. Only willing to return $425.
Kelly said it was at the discretion of the owner Dr. Abby Raymond who decided how much refund you would receive. My papers say 100% refund if you are not happy. Final dentures were delivered less than 2 months ago. You have a 100 day certificate that is worthless I again want the $845 total amount I paid. Until this is resolved I will have no teeth. This has caused me pain, suffering, anxiety, depression. And unable to go out in the world toothless. No one at Affordable Dentures will mediate so far. These dentures are huge. I am unable to close my mouth. My top lips sticks out so far it has wrinkle. My jaws hurt. I was asked to try 1 more time. I did. Again I asked for a full refund. Over and over I have been refused what is advertised. Asked Kelly when I would hear from him again after he spoke to the owner/dentist about my FULL refund. He giggled and said when we are able to call you. Hung up.

I went to Affordable Dental to have a new upper done. I had a bad experience with a dentist that did my temp so I thought that I would have better luck with a company that specializes in dentures. I called about a month in advance and got an appointment for 8am on a Friday. I drove an hour to get there. I arrived to see a parking lot with at least 8 other cars that also had 8am appointments. When they opened the doors at 8 we all filed in like cattle. By this time there was at least 20 people coming in. There was a sign that said you would be seen according to what the practice deemed important. I took a seat and watched several other people file in. The waiting room had over 30 people waiting and then they started calling names. People that had later appointments were being seen before me. I finally got called in around 10:30am. I looked around the exam room and it was very outdated.
The walls needed paint and the white equipment was a dingy yellow. I asked the tech if she wanted me to remove my dentures since they were "glued" in my mouth and she snapped at me and said that I should have had them already out. Because I only had them for 8 months, she said it was too soon to have my permanents so I was just going to have an alignment done. I was told to see the lady at the desk. I was charged 175.00 and told to come back between 2 and 4. Now where am I going to go without my denture, so I stayed there and people watched. I was sitting right in front of the door leading back to the examine rooms. I was shocked to see the techs wearing blue gloves, picking up files, going into the reception area and touching paper, pens, phones and so on, then opening the door by the handle, calling another person in still sporting the same gloves.
I began to really rethink what I was doing there. But they had my denture so I felt stuck and hopeless. Finally at 5:15pm I was called to go back to the examine room. And yes the tech was holding my file, touching the doorknob and the pen with the same blue gloves on. My gut told me to get my denture and just leave but here it was on a Friday night and no one else would be able to see me that night or the next day. The tech came back into the room with my denture and I couldn't even get it to go in on one side. So I showed him where it hurt and he sent out and came back a short time later. I tried again, but the pain was horrible. I told him the same spot was not right so he went out again and I heard him filing it down. The third time he came back I was able to get it into my mouth but that same area gave me unbearable pain. He checked it while it was in my mouth, then took it out, and began to put this powder stuff on it.
I asked him what that was for and he explained it was adhesive. He said I needed it to keep my dentures in. What!!! I just paid for an alignment and I have to use adhesive now. They were too big except for the area that was giving me pain. I told him they still hurt really bad and he said, go home and give it a few days and if it didn't get better to come back. At this point I had my denture and it didn't fit, and it hurt and I'm in worse shape than when I first got there. I got up, looked in the garbage can to see if I could see any blue gloves which there were none and walked out. For 2 days I couldn't eat and I was in so much pain.
My friend who also wears dentures took a look and found that there was a large sharp piece of plastic in the area of my pain. He took out his Dremel and filed it down and polished it up. I developed a sore due to the sharp ridge. They also didn't cut back for the piece of skin that hangs from your gum to your lip so I got a blister there too. My friend also adjusted that area too. The day after I was there, shockingly I developed a sore on my bottom lip. 2 weeks later my denture doesn't hurt thanks to my friend fixing them and the sore is gone and the blister inside is getting smaller, but I still have to use adhesive everyday just to keep them in my mouth. So I ask myself - I wasted an entire day, and came out with more problems than I went in with. Would I ever go back or recommend this place? No.

In the beginning I was having a good experience with this place. I was going for an upper partial. Paid over $1000 for a good one. I went back to the office around 8 times because my partial wouldn’t fit correctly and was putting blood blisters on the inside of my jaw. I signed a 100% money back guarantee. (And have a copy) It states it is good for 100 days. Full refund if not satisfied within 100 days. Trust me - I tried everything to make this partial work. After just having enough of going to the office and not ever getting it right - I asked for my refund. It had been 90 days. I felt like I was getting the run around when I mentioned it. I was finally told my refund wouldn’t be 100% - that it would be 70/30. That the office kept 30% for their trouble.
I paid over $1000 "cash" for my partial and they are telling me I wouldn’t get cash back. It would have to be processed and faxed somewhere and eventually a check would be sent to me. A check for 70% of what I paid that should have been, as the paper states, 100%. I just don’t understand how they keep getting away with screwing people over. I wasn’t a bad customer and I never took too much time - and I didn’t even throw a fit about the 70/30% deal. But if you state in your ad, and online, and on the infomercials that are on the tv in your office, that it’s 100% money back guarantee... then follow through and don't lie to get customers. And if I pay cash for something - give me cash back - Don't make me wait for a check to come in an unknown amount of time. Don’t think I will be going back. And hopefully I actually receive my refund??

About two years I got my temporary dentures. I was a real newbie and I had a lot to learn about wearing dentures. From the beginning, I got lots of the sticky adhesive on my lips and it wasn't easy to remove leaving my lips super dry and cracked. The adhesive would gather in my mouth and even mix with my makeup leaving a beige streaky color to my lips that was impossible to remove.
After months of this I chalked it up to lack knowledge on my part regarding all the repercussions of having dentures. Well the situation worsened over time and I was left with a sticky residue on my lips and in my mouth. My lips have never been the same. I mentioned all this to the Affordable Dentures Dentist and was told to come into the office to have my permanent denture done.
When they gave me the new denture, I noticed that the fit seemed better on top, but the bottom denture felt too big to me. I had no choice but to give the new dentures a chance. I've done that. Now my bottom denture requires adhesive several times per day and its usually a sticky yucky mess to clean out my mouth, clean up where ever I am, and to clean the denture. I cannot eat anything because after a couple of bites the denture breaks the seal with the adhesive and ends up moving around and then causes sore spots on my gums, lips and the side of my mouth when I would bite it because of the denture movement. Worst of all though, I have had Angular Cheilitis!!! It's so terribly painful that there were times I just cried. This all went on for a while.
I called to make a follow up appointment to have the bottom denture look at and to reiterate the problems I was having with the bottom denture. During my appointment, the first person to come into was I guess the tech. I assumed that since I got my permanent denture, I didn't warrant attention any longer from the dentist. Well the tech disappeared twice leaving me sitting there for a considerable period of time. I told her about the Angular Cheilitis and she said she would adjust the denture. The dentist breezed by and I got her attention. I told her about the constant stickiness on my lips and how it had ruined the skin on my lips and how the poor fitting denture caused the Angular Cheilitis, and about how much pain I've been.
She asked me a few questions. I answered. I told her exactly what I had been going through with my new dentures. She asked if I licked my lips because they were very dry. I responded that I did and that it's just a constant subconscious thing now because the lips are so dry, cracking and I have sores at each corner of my mouth that are very painful. Desperately I asked her for some solutions to the problems; the poor fitting bottom denture, dry sticky sore cracked lips and the Angular Cheilitis. Her response? She told me to stop licking my lips, to use Burt's Bees, and to try a different adhesive.
I thought to myself that I was way beyond having those minor solutions fix my issues. I require a more drastic fix and I don't even know where to begin. If Affordable Dentures was willing to help me, the dentist would have given me a more viable solution. But that didn't happen. I am still in lots of pain because of poorly fitting dentures, and the constant reapplying of adhesive after a drink, a couple of bites of food, or a conversation continue, the stickiness is worse than ever and the Angular Cheilitis continues to rule my life. Please! If there is anyone out there that has a suggestion, I am very willing to hear you out. Post and I will read!!

She told me I had to have an appointment even though they were making a sore, and my round trip was 1 1/2 hours. I had to come back the next day. I went back and the corner of my mouth was sore so I asked for them to pull one side at a time. Jackie came back with the metal thing to make an impression. She grabbed my mouth and pulled. When I complained she gave me a nasty look and went out of the room. It could have been put in slowly. She then came back and asked me if I had dry mouth, and I told her occasionally I did. She said that was caused by the medication I was taking; which it was not as I only had it occasionally. I think that the paste I was using to hold these dentures in was causing my dry mouth.
I had purchased an upper dental, and a partial before the new management, and I had a great experience. Jackie is a terrible customer service representative. She actually is just MEAN. Once in there the woman that put that nasty gunk in my mouth which made me gag as she kept pushing it up further and further to the roof of my mouth as she saying "breath in and out your mouth" it has to stay in for few more! As if she was saying under her breath oh god here again another gagged!!! By this point I'm ready for it to come out of my mouth as I'm trying to push her hand away from pulling that crap out of my mouth she's like, "Ma'am don't touch my hand." RUDE! No compassion for all the gagging I was doing!
The people including the dentist was very rude no compassion at all. Didn't listen to anything I said, how I wanted my teeth to look after trying to tell her several times! After all I'm spending $1900 for ultimate teeth. So finally I spoke my mind how I felt I was being treated... How I felt as if I was one of get em in get em out kind. After speaking my mind it only seemed I got treated worse from there. I didn't think it could get any worse than it already was! And wait all day to be treated like crap!
So I after all that they said my teeth should be in 5 to 10 days. I called on 10th day to see if they were in... NOPE! They would set up an app on July 10th to get teeth I was seen on June 19th!!! Needless to say I wanted my money refunded! Note to all... They want to charge me 15% for restocking??? What does that mean??? Restocking teeth that only fit my mouth??? And charging me $300. I will be contracting a lawyer! After the treatment I got from this place! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Horrible experience!!! I felt like was getting teeth at Walmart.

I been a customer for several years obviously they switch employees frequently at the Hopkinsville KY location. They don't listen to the patient. They blame the patient insisting you wear your dentures 24/7 instead of taking them out when your sleeping. They give you baby teeth & short you all the back teeth all crucial for chewing so you can't eat meat or apples or cucumbers or nuts only baby food. They fall out 'cause they are not made right. They should have dentures made in the same day. They keep you coming back 5 times at Hopkinsville & in Nashville by the airport. I spent a lot of money but I have to go somewhere else even though I just got new dentures a month ago.

My 80 year old handicapped mother called on June 27 to make an appointment to get some bottom dentures made, as her other bottom dentures accidentally got thrown away when she was recently in the hospital for a severe lung infection. When she called on the 27th the lady explained to my mother that she needed to bring 260 dollars to the appointment, and scheduled my mom's appointment for July 3. My mother had to cash in her change in order to have enough to pay the 260 dollars. I took her to her appointment on July 3rd and as we were sitting in the waiting room I saw an elderly woman at the desk practically in tears arguing with the lady at the front desk named Emily. I felt very sorry for the elderly woman I am not sure what the issue was but it was clear that the elderly lady was upset.
After witnessing the front desk lady Emily treat several elderly patients badly when my mom was ready to check out I made sure I was right by her side and sure enough they told my mom she owed 325 dollars. We said to this lady Emily that we were told it was 260. She said, "NO IT'S 325!!" And that the 260 was the sale price that had just ended on the 30th. First of all why would the lady that took my mother's appointment quote her the sale price and then schedule it after the sale was over? These old folks are being bullied and scammed! I witnessed it! Emily told my mom she had to get the other 65 dollars and when my mom asked her if she could just give her the 260 and bring the other 65 dollars when she came back to pick up the dentures the lady Emily rolled her eyes and said, "No we have to have it now!" My mother was so upset. I had to leave my mom sitting there and run up the street to get the rest of the money. I would never recommend that place.

I have been in miserable pain ever since they pulled my lower teeth and put in this ill fitting lower denture. I have made two emergency appointments. It was supposed to be $795 for their economy denture. It's going to end up being over $4000. I have been unable to eat anything but liquid. I can't bite with my front teeth. I can't eat anything that has to be chewed. Their commercials are bold faced lies. I have been totally humiliated in front of coworkers when I tried to eat a simple lunch which caused my denture to fall out. If I had any money left, I would hire a lawyer and sue them. I am a disabled adult and they really scammed me.

Different times as One year ago I went for the Ultimate top denture which at that time was $1100. I used my Care Credit. 45 min drive for every liner (4) and a year wait for permanent plate. Everything was fine until the permanent was ready. It was now $175 more for special warranty and new process. Ok. The Teeth were TOO LONG and when I put them in it slit my Superior Labial Frenulum! I have an implant in my foot which I explained I had to be extremely cautious about infections in my mouth. I usually take antibiotics before any work on my teeth that involves open wounds. I had the assistant make more room for my Frenulum but it took 1 hour and 3 ell as shortening those fangs! He was working with two other patients as well. I was very frustrated so the third time I just left. Could not wear the new denture due to the Frenulum so I wore the Temp for a week and made another appointment. When He had my teeth shortened that looked sawed off!
So next visit I get the Dentist Lady who I thought was very nice but not this day! They do not appreciate dissatisfaction at all! She claimed the teeth were NOT shortened by the assistant cause they ARE NOT allowed to do so. They send to lab. I said all I know is I gave the teeth back to him 3 times to make room for the Frenulum and shorten the teeth! Where he took them I do not know! I was here for over an hour! Could not wear new until Frenulum healed! She turned into a Shrew! Kept insisting her lab would Not do this! I also informed her that taking the impression from my Temp Plate was not a good idea! It should have been done from my mouth!!! Common sense and Logic! She argued! She had me do the bite impression and sent teeth to lab. They came back a little better fit but now they have chip marks and no good shape and still protrude a bit!
I am completely dissatisfied and wanted a new pair which is covered under the 100 day guarantee! No Way! They have you sign a paper when you get the new which they state is just for fit and color but watch out signing it! I ran into another dissatisfied customer in parking lot and we also swapped phone numbers. I was horrified when she told me her story! She put her new (added $175) to price partial in and OMG, she couldn't talk right! Sounded like she had a swollen tongue and mouth full of something! They tried to sell her more expensive too! She just texted and said the new one is still wrong! She ran into two more customers were dissatisfied! My advice is if you have to use the warranty or guarantee, you will be treated badly and get very tired of traveling! The other lady drives an hour and a half! I added the proof that I charged $1100 to my care credit but don't forget I also just charged another $175! Ripped off!

I bought their Premium Denture 9 months ago which comes with a 4 YEAR WARRANTY. Last night the lower denture cracked in half. When I went into their office this morning for repair the nurse when she saw it was cracked in half said that a repair would never hold but they would try anyway. Then she handed me a form to sign which releases them from all liability for the repair. WHAT KIND OF WARRANTY IS THAT? Once they repaired the denture it no longer fit. Then they said it would cost me $180.00 dollars for a re-alignment.
Bottom line is they will not honor the warranty they say comes with their product. They try and fleece you for more money if you have a warranty issue. That the product cracked under normal use. That their product is garbage. When I got out of their chair I felt I had garbage in my mouth. I will not allow their filthy crooked hands touch my mouth again. And I am hoping others will read this and head warning. Beware of doing business with this company.

After spending $1800 for custom dentures at Affordable Dentures of Augusta, GA, I still do not have proper fitting dentures. My first visit was to have remaining teeth pulled and the first set of dentures put in. I returned for a second visit to make adjustments on the first set of dentures and to have a second set of dentures made, which was done, however the second set was molded from the original casting. Because of the time lapse between the original casting and my second visit my gums had shrunk and the dentures did not fit properly. I complained to the person fitting my dentures that they did not feel right or look right. I was assured that would be corrected at my final fitting.
Today when I went for my final fitting I was informed that the existing second set was my final fitting. I had previously taken my paperwork to another franchise in Stockbridge, GA to see if they could do the final fitting and they confirmed that I was due a final fitting but if they did the work they would have to charge for it. After several trips from Atlanta to Augusta, I still do not have proper fitting dentures as well as one tooth missing that broke off when eating a smooth peanut butter sandwich that I could have replaced for $195.
It has been like PULLING TEETH to get any cooperation or results from the Augusta franchise. It is my belief that the franchise changed its offers and guarantees from my first visit to my most recent visit. I was led to believe that I would have two temporary sets before getting my final set as part of the Custom Made package. Oh, they will make me a third set but they will also charge me another $800 to do that! I paid $1800 for a Custom Package, which they do not have any more, I still do not have them and not one person in that office has offered a good explanation as to why.
I would really like to have some permanent dentures that looked nice and fit properly, but that is obviously not going to happen with Affordable Dentures. I would like my money refunded for services not rendered so that I can put it towards some properly fitting dentures. I can be reached at the following number through Wednesday till noon: **. The advertisement on their website states 1795.00 for single implant. The employees will not answer phones or return calls and it's in Va. Beach Va. and I live in Moyock NC. You go in for dental work and before you leave you pay itemize work of what they did on the implant. So the 1795.00 price is false as you see I've paid 1680.00 and still owe 895.00 that just don't add up to the price that's advertised. The overall hygiene of the office should've turned me away immediately but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake.
They also don't allow family members back with their patients. Why? Because they have a lot to hide. No running water in the rooms. Overall filth of the rooms. This place should be shut down and Jennifer ** should be put away. The waiting room floor has stains all over the carpet. The one good thing I can say is I found a new dentist. Affordable and extremely great experience and have been able to turn several people away from going to Bedford. I wouldn't let them work on the mouth of a cadaver let alone on anyone I know. What will it take for this place to be shut down. The filth alone should be reason enough to close their doors.

I had my teeth pulled and was given temporary dentures. After numerous times of going back with not being able to wear my bottom dentures at all, the dentist was good enough to make me a whole new set of temporary dentures. I have had them for a week. First I told his assistant that the bottom ones don't fit because they stick out on very bottom. Her answer was it is because they are temporary and in order to have them not do that, I would probably have to upgrade from Economy to avoid this when I get my permanent dentures. My mouth literally sticks out on the bottom and is very noticeable. In addition, I cannot eat anything without the bottom ones coming lose and I then have to take them out.
I like the dentist that did my work, but, I feel that the advertising for "Affordable Dentures" is really not true. I wonder if people realize before having work done there that the teeth actually are not good. I say that after talking with numerous people that wear dentures and never had the same problem. In addition, I pointed out an area on my upper left gum line that sticks out. I was told it is bone spurs. I do have discomfort in that area and do not feel it is from the upper denture. I feel like they should be checking more carefully for things that may or may not be right after pulling the teeth. You would think that they would x-ray or something to avoid these problems. I have not called the dentist again because they continue to give me the same answers. I will, of course, have to continue to go there in order to get my permanent teeth and then I still have no guarantee that the bottom won't stick out without paying more. Very unhappy.

I worked at this location faithfully for eight long years as a dental technician, before I was abruptly fired for taking 2 personal days because my 2-year-old son was sick. During those 8 years I went above and beyond the call of duty and was forced to work and do things outside the scope of my job description. Because I am from Peru I was always the one made to clean up the lab, take out the bathroom trash and do other menial things not related to my job. I was talked down to, abused and discriminated against by the management repeatedly and on an ongoing basis. I always tried to take care of the customer by taking my time and making nice dentures that would actually fit and be comfortable but I was always rushed and pushed to just get as many out as quickly as I could, with no regard for the comfort of the patient. I was called horrible names all the time, simply because I wanted the patient to be comfortable and be happy with their dentures.
At one point I actually overheard someone say, "We are here to make money, ** the patient." Then every week they would brag about how much money they made that week, it was disgusting. The dentures I put out are a reflection of my skills and very important to me and the patient but I was never allowed to do my best here. This establishment cares absolutely nothing about the customer and puts profits before patients' well-being. For you to get dentures the dentist will require forced extractions which are usually not necessary. I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and I suggest anyone (customer or employee) who is or has been abused or discriminated against by this office to do the same so that this organization can no longer abuse their patients and employees. The bad reviews here are true! The management here is absolutely horrible and the patients deserve better.

Doesn't matter what "package" you pick, you're paying to NOT wear em! Let me break it down. I received care at the Stockbridge Ga. Location. I haven't even reached the 2 week mark yet and this is horrible! I had to in the day of my surgery for them to adjust them to even fit. They told me to have a seat and they'd call me up. WHAT?! After about 15 to 20 mins, my bf went up and pointed out the fact that I was bleeding and post op and that's when they got me back in a hurry. Another 3 days later I made another appointment for another adjustment. They acted like it was such of an inconvenience to worry with and would barely let me tell her WHERE it was bothering me. She then brought them back, placed them and then when I was saying they still didn't feel right, she wasn't even in the room anymore!
I tried catching another nurse to tell her they still weren't right, she said, "Well hun it's a process and will take some time." I left a little angry, but ok. Now the problem is the sores and cuts in my mouth have gotten worse! So much so that I can't even wear them!! I had an appt. scheduled for tomorrow in Stockbridge, but I actually had to come to Tx for family issues. They assures me that the location here would handle it, now I find out they wanna charge me for an adjustment here!! Such BS for soooo much money!! The dentist was so great, the entire staff at this facility was wonderful. The dentist took his time when extracting my teeth and made sure in every way that I was comfortable and not in pain.
I was a nervous wreck with having so many teeth pulled at one time, the dentist was wonderful. The entire staff was great and very helpful. My whole experience besides the wait time I would have to give 5 stars. Once I received my new dentures I have to. I was very happy with them. They made sure they fit correctly. Also the look and the size of the denture was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone having teeth pulled and getting dentures.

Upon arriving a week later for 3:30 appt. I asked if she talked to him. She said "No". This is after driving 25 miles to appt. Salt Lake to American Fork office. She said they frown on that, that accounting dept gets upset if too many adjustments are made. Well, this isn't TOO MUCH, or too many, it's one. Anyway, after sitting there for 35 minutes, 4:05. I told my son (the patient), "Come on, let's go". This is because I witnessed every procedure room full. Clients in each chair. Dentist Adams was back and forth, in and out, seemed to be filing, working on a denture right out in the hallway.
A person came out to waiting room, then called back in patient's room. Another person came in from outside, they were called back for work, while we just watched and waited for our turn. Half hr. later I left with son. Told lady "Call us when you can get us in when you say so. Don't over book!" She said, "You don't need to come back, dentist won't waive the scan, xray cost". That was unprofessional! - and a negative adolescent idiotic comment. Should have apologized for half hr. delay, we got milked into the office with false comments. I realized when seeing hoards of clients, corralled, shuffled and packed in there, this along with her statement, means I will not go back there. My husband had Dr ** from Affordable Dentures located in Rochester NY on Sept 13, 2016 place 4 implants and a full upper denture. The quality of his service was to say the least the poorest quality work we have ever experienced. When we attempted to get help from the dentist our complaints were not given any corrective response until we filed a complaint the local BBB office. A refund is being provided by the dentist from his personal account as he did not want to go thru the corporate office he says because he did not want to delay the refund. I think he wants to avoid the corporate office finding out of his negligence poor customer service.
The pain and discomfort my husband is and has gone thru should never be experienced by another person associated with the Rochester office the Dr should not be allowed to do implants as he does not take the proper care when he is implanting the posts. The two front posts were clearly crooked and the sinus pain and the pressure my husband is still experiencing with the 1 front post is a daily and constant issue. We are now waiting for the refund and the complete set of records to be forwarded to us. We have been waiting since Dec 2016 for a solution to this situation. THIS dentist needs to be held accountable for his neglect and failure of quality service. As you can see the service were paid in full. That is one reason why I feel the dentist did nothing to respond to our numerous complaints and we had to turn to the BBB for help.

04/20/2017. I am a 74 year old man from the last generation which did not have the benefit of fluoridated water and toothpaste and relatively pain free dentistry. I let my teeth get out of control long ago and the chickens finally came home to roost a month or 2 ago. For the last several weeks I have been running an oral pain level, gums and teeth, of about 6-7 on a 1-10 scale with spikes up to about 25 if I ate the wrong thing or let the wrong food touch some of the most ill teeth. It is not the best way to lose weight but it works.
A neighbor had told me about having a great experience with Affordable Dentures in Oregon. Last week I finally got to the point where I knew I had to act, it was not going to get better on its own. No amount of sensitive tooth toothpaste and mouthwash was going to fix the damage. Last Thursday I went to my local dentist who did a thorough exam and recommended a treatment plan which would have cost many thousands of dollars and many hours of dental chair agony. He did give me antibiotics which stopped the worst of the pain after a few days. That visit and estimate really helped me decide how to proceed. The next day I called the nearest AD office about 90 miles from my home in Southern California. They had no appointments available until May. That was not going to work so I called the Sun City, AZ, office and they were able to give me an appointment Monday afternoon with the possibility of extraction and fitting on Tuesday.
Monday morning I drove with a neighbor, Bob, the 275 miles to the Sun City office for a 2:20 PM appointment. They had a crowd on hand and I was taken in a little late. I had the complimentary full mouth x-ray and one of the assistants/technicians came in and helped me solidify my decision to purchase the "Premium" package. In a short time Dr. ** appeared and not only looked me over but made impressions for the dentures as well. I had expected to have that as well as the extractions done the next morning and then to have to hang out the rest of the day until the dentures were ready. Instead they gave me a handful of prescriptions and told me I could come in at 3:30 Tuesday. We got the prescriptions filled at the Safeway Pharmacy next door and had a pleasant dinner, evening and night at and near the motel about 3 miles away from the office.
The next morning during breakfast Affordable Dentures sent me a text saying I could come in at 1:30 PM. I did not see the message until about 11:00 (I had silenced my phone) and called immediately to see if the slot was still open. It was. We went to lunch about noon. I had had a decent breakfast which was my final insult and goodbye to my poor natural teeth. About 12:30 I took the first of the 2 ** (tranquilizer) tablets they had prescribed. My neighbor drove me to the office at 1:30. I took the second ** and they took me in. The doc came in and shot me up. Beyond that it is a blur of sorts. I recall seeing teeth dropped into a plastic cup and having a couple that were not completely numb. When I yelped he immediately numbed them up and soldiered on. At some point someone came in and put dentures in my mouth and sent me on my way with Bob of course at the wheel.
We were home by 10:00. I have no recollection of any significant pain nor do I have any now 30+ hours later. Pain was my biggest fear. I have a low pain threshold and I had mentioned that to him on Monday and he took care of it. Today my face is swollen and places are sore to the touch but I have no serious pain. I have been taking the antibiotics and ** he prescribed but have not had to use the narcotic pain med (fortunately I had some from a prior surgery to use last week). I have had a protein shake, applesauce, chocolate putting, jello, Cream of Chicken soup and have tried to drink extra water although it has been hard to swallow it (especially with pills) because swallowing moves the mouth in some way that causes the bottom denture to hurt the gum more than I want. This is already much better tonight than this morning.
Bottom line? 10 stars out of 5! Great people, a very composed and good doctor and very reasonable prices. Of course I cannot comment on the fit or quality of the dentures although they look and feel fine at present. I had the technician pick the sample color that matched my original teeth. Somebody asked me today why they are so yellow so perhaps over the next 6-12 months before the permanent set is made I will decided to go to a whiter shade. I do not want a sparkling white mouth that glows in the dark but I do not care to have it look like I just smoked a carton of cigarettes either especially since I have not smoked for 30 years.
I will update this or write a new review after I have some experience with actually using the dentures. For the next few days they are mostly decorative. I have been wearing partials for the last 1 1/2 years so my adjustment to them will be a little easier than for a totally greenhorn. The bottom bottom line? Take care of your teeth but if you do meet my fate and require dentures these people are highly professional, affordable and do it right! 10 STARS!

Beware of the false advertisement that (Affordable Dentures) advertise. The advertisement is packed with a bunch of lies. They advertise upper or lower dentures only or a set. When I went in for my appointment they had to pull one tooth. I asked if I could wait til the gum healed before they would make me a bottom denture, because I feared it would not fit properly with the gum not being healed. I was told no that they would pull the tooth and make the lower denture the same day that it would be ok to do it that way. This was at the end of January I believe or first few days of February 2017. Here we are in April and my lower denture is still not fitting right. I went in today April 10, 2017.
I told the lady who came in to make an adjustment that I could not hardly eat because it makes me bite my tongue on one side and the other side pinches the inside of my cheek, and there is a large space between the top and bottom where they pulled the tooth and you can't even see the bottom teeth when I smile. She herself said she could see where it does not fit properly. All I asked was for them to remake the bottom denture for me to get a proper fit, she said "no" they would not do that. She said "when you already have an upper denture and you try to make a lower not at the same time it will not ever fit right". I said "why didn't ya'll tell me that before, when I came to get this done?", she said "all we can do is try." I said "then ya'll are falsely advertising about what ya'll say ya'll can do".
Instead of remaking the already cheaply made denture and have a satisfied customer, they just want to give you a refund and get rid of you, now that they have made some money of you, because believe me will get you to spend more money some kind of way. If you read their advertisement you will see what I am talking about. I will never have anything good to say about this place and would discourage anyone from going there. The dentures are very cheaply made. I have used Efferdent almost daily and brushed them after eating. The few times I was able to eat with them and still you can see they do not come clean. This is very embarrassing and unhealthy to use.
I was told it is the dentist that owns the business and Affordable Dentures 800 number that you call is only there to give you information (which is false), and the dentist office that you go to is not a franchise with them. They are individually owned by the dentist and the dentist has the final decision. In this case the dentist is "Donovan **" Lafayette Louisiana. If you read this review please do yourself a favor. Spend the few extra dollars it takes and go somewhere else where you get what you pay for and not a cheaply made denture that is ill fitting and you can't use and you have to throw away $325.00. That is what I had to pay for something I can't use. If you read this review please pass this message on to anyone that you know that may be thinking of going there.
Also if you know anyone who has been there and had had a bad experience, ask them to write a review and also write a letter to ConsumerAffairs and eventually something will get done with businesses like this. One person can't do it alone. I realize today they really don't care about you the patient as long as they can make money off of you. I told them today that I was going to leave a bad review with ConsumerAffairs. The lady said "go ahead that's ok." If everyone who has been dissatisfied comes together we can do something about a place like this.

When I explained this to the technician she replied that I would have to train my jaw to adjust my bite. The lower denture was extremely uncomfortable and because I refused to accept the dentures Affordable Denture decided to remake the lower denture from the beginning. This meant that because it was late afternoon I would have to return the next day to refit the replacement. I traveled 90 miles to get to the appointment that day making a 180 mile round trip.
When I told the staff at Affordable Denture that I could not make the trip back the next day because of gas cost and other scheduled engagements I was informed Affordable Denture had recently opened and office closer to my area and would mail my bottom plate to that office and that office would contact me to schedule me once received at that location. I was sent home with the dentures they made and attempted to wear them as directed attempting to adjust to feel and fit of dentures in my mouth. One week later I was called to go get my plate.
I went to get my plate and the tech had some difficulty adjusting the new bottom plate but got them to fit more comfortably in my jaw. Still the dentures did not meet properly and required the allotted three attempts at readjustment. By the third and final allowed adjustment the gums of my jaw were too tender to allow the dentures to sit on them. My gums were pushed down under the plate causing the edge of the denture to indent my gums making a flat spot on top pushing my gums down the jaw bone.
Making a long story short the bottoms have never fit or worked properly enough to be usable. I can not eat with them in place, can't talk with them in because they will not stay seated on the gums even with any adhesive. The bottom plate has never been usable and after trying to adjust to them they have damaged my jaw and gums and I have been told by two other dental offices the only way to get a plate to be functional I will require anchors implanted to secure a plate on my jaw, it may be possible but doubtful that the lower plate could be used but most likely would require a new plate made. Also that at the time have having the plates made that if my gums and or jaw could not support lower dentures I should have been informed that these anchors would be required and making a set of dentures would be useless.
After hearing this it is my opinion Affordable Denture did not inform me of this need for anchors either because I did not need them and they just made a bad lower plate or that they knew there should be anchors and omitted this fact made the dentures anyway to get my money. At any rate, their bottom plate has permanently damaged my lower gum and jaw. My only income is Social Security and I am a single father of three children all under the age of thirteen. I receive public assistance for both housing and food. It was hard to scrape the money together to get dentures made even with help from family. I can not afford the cost of anchor implants. I do not have the resources to take Affordable Denture to court in an attempt to make this right. If I could take them to court I most certainly would not give them a second chance to damage my mouth again.
The teeth the tech chose to use for the upper plate were too small. You cannot tell I have dentures in my mouth when I speak or smile. When consulting another denture maker I was told it appeared that the teeth were too small. The top plate fits fairly well to my gums but can not stay suctioned to the roof of my mouth without a large amount of adhesive applied requiring reapplication a couple times through the day. As I stated my natural teeth had been removed two years before I was able to get dentures made so any shrinkage of gum should have been done by the time these plates were made. All said Affordable Denture is not as affordable as one may think or as advertised. I will never recommend anyone to this business.

Then and then they relined them and that extended my service period by a year they told me. And so couple month passes the original service period runs out in 2 days. I go get fitted go the next day to pick up some hunk of metal they call the premium or some crap. Supposed next step better than what I paid for but the reason I chose economy cause I wanted the pink fiberglass reg. dentures not that metal contraption. I was told to just try them a month. I didnt like them. We would do something different. Well when I went back they wouldn't Because service period was over and the only thing they obligated to work on for me is my temporary set.

Very poor communication about what to expect from implant procedure. 4 infections, paid for 2 second opinions, one who advised her what she did wrong. Implant has problems she will not even try to fix. A shrug of the shoulders is all I got. Will never recommend this Dr. or company. I will end up paying more than if I had gone to a competent Dr in the first place.

I went to this office to get ultra upper. I was rushed and I almost had to argue to get to the teeth moved out further on one side so they looked more natural. One side looked dented in so when I bit down my bottom teeth did not line up to the top denture on that side. The teeth on that side of the denture set behind bottom teeth so my bottom teeth stuck out farther on that side. She tried to tell me they could not be brought out any further, but took them to the back and lab tech brought them further out. They do look better but could have come out farther. I did not get to talk to or have input with the lab tech who made them to discuss my concerns. Because the teeth set back too far I have already bitten the back corner off of one of the front teeth and feel like the same thing may happen to the tooth beside it.
I chose this office because they did the implants, but when I explained to the nurse who was helping me that I had bought the expensive ones because I wanted to have them secured with the implants. So I could loose the roof the mouth portion of the denture she shook her head in a disagreeable way. She tried to make me understand she was dentist down in Mexico and these implants were not a good idea. I am so not a confrontational person so I approved the denture and left. I was kind of wondering if she knew this dentist would not do a good job with the implants. I had did so much research on the implant procedure that when talking to the actual dentist about it.
After she looked at my x-ray she said she could put an implant between the two front tooth sockets to get 5 in to support my denture. I knew something was not right. These implants go in the socket not in between them. It was a red flag so when the nurse gave me the disapproving look during our implant discussion I took it seriously. They do fit well, and the piece I bit off does not show to much as it is on the back side. Did not go back as I was afraid of the confrontation of it all. I will need new dentures if I decide on implants again in the future. I will not go back to this office. My one year was up starting the March.

I absolutely love Dr. **! My mom was visiting from NYC and decided to get dentures while she was here. We called and were scheduled, almost immediately, for a consultation. We came back a week later for the extractions in the am and returned for the dentures that afternoon. Dr. ** and her staff explained the procedure, the costs, the materials and the healing process in expert fashion. She took her time during the extractions to make sure my mom was comfortable. When the pain started to increase she stopped to provide additional numbing medicine and waited until it took effect. My mom was in no pain when she left the office. We even saw Dr ** one evening while we were out, we struck up a lovely conversation where mom modeled her new smile. One word for Dr. **, AMAZING!

Once I got to the back for x-rays the dental assistants were very unprofessional and their uniforms looked dirty and wrinkled. I was charge $85 for x-rays. After I received my lower partial dentures they didn't explain to me how to care for the dentures. They were upset cause I declined the upgrade package. I wanted the basic cheaper partial cause that's all I could afford.
After I paid for the partial no one explain how to care for the partial. I was showed to the front door. This is my very first time wearing partial dentures... From the moment you check in for your appointment to the moment you check out, the staff at the Commerce, Ga Affordable Denture are extremely pleasant. My first appointment was a consultation. I meet with a dental assistant who examined me and explained the possible options. She took the time to help me pick the direction we would ultimately go in. I made my next appointment for 8:00 am 3/3/17. It was explained to me that the morning of my appointment there would be a line at the door waiting for the office to open but understand people are called back based on their needs not necessarily by their appointment time and I should expect to spend the full day there.
So, we planned accordingly. Dr ** is the best dentist I have ever seen. He is extremely kind, considerate, gentle and I would wholeheartedly recommend him and his staff. It was explained to me the reason they are affordable is because they do what they do in volume. But just because they see large volumes of patients on a daily basis doesn't mean the care they provide you is anything less than excellent. The care I received by Dr ** and his staff made me feel like I was their only patient he had that day.

When I started with Affordable Dentures in Nashville, Tn I was beyond happy... I had my teeth pulled at another office and they couldn't get them to fit to stay in because of my ridge so they suggested implants in my upper gum. I went to Dr. Andy ** for a consultation and was well pleased and I made an appointment and we did it. At first, it was great but then the teeth started popping loose from one side. The entire staff was Americans... Nice, sweet, friendly, helpful and there for YOU. I was a person, not a number. They changed my O'rings and things got better. Then Dr. ** got very sick, and was hospitalized. He hired a new office manager before he got sick and she was in charge, I guess! I went back several times and every time I went back one of the American staff was gone and replaced with a person that I couldn't understand or they couldn't understand me.
The staff I started with was completely gone, all of them... I go back to get the O'rings changed and the staff asked me what color I needed... Ok, I don't work there, I have no idea what color and why don't you look in my chart? It has been downhill since. I am now a number and no longer a person. Dr. ** is back and still has a staff that shakes their head yes and takes your teeth and Lord knows you don't know what your teeth will come back like cause nobody understands nobody... My teeth have a crack in them and it is like the 6th one. They are like this because they don't fit properly. They teeter tot back and forth coming loose on the right side and I have IMPLANTS. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what is happening but they repair them and send me home. I had the crack repaired again in Jan. and now it is cracked again.
The dentist won't see me until he talks to me about derogative statements I made about his staff. They may be Americans but you still can't understand them. If I said something about them it was not being derogatory, it was just the plain hard truth. Everyone is the same in God's eyes but if we can't understand each other how do you get proper results. I mean the ENTIRE STAFF changed. I was told by one of the old staff that she left because the new office manager made it about the money, not the patient. Dr. ** is a very nice man and I thought a great dentist until he decided we need to add 4 more implants to my already 4. This is to stop the teeter toting but in reality if they do the impression correctly it should fit.
Now, I have teeter toting teeth with a crack and don't know what dentist to change to because not many dentists in a 2 hour radius does upper denture that have implants. Or dentists I can afford or same day dentist. It is bad when someone starts the job and you are left standing in the rain with no umbrella. Beware of this office because staff just doesn't turn over like I have seen it do since my first visit...

My purpose in going to Affordable Dentures was to replace a partial lower denture that was old and does not fit well. My first appointment was almost two hours later than the appointment I had scheduled. The receptionist Kim was very pleasant as was Scott the dental assistant. THEY SHOULD OWN THIS BUSINESS!! Their doctor, Dr. ** should have had his license revoked and has absolutely no professional courtesy whatsoever!! I heard him speak disrespectfully and rudely to both patients in the adjoining room to the one I was in. X-rays were take with the existing dentures I have in my mouth. Of course they had to take another set of x-rays which added to the time and frustration spent in this office.
The next appointment Scott told me that the doctor would explain options and costs with me when he came in which never happened. He came in with a mold full of material used to make impressions and promptly forced it onto my lower jaw and he proceeded by telling me he would only have this partial denture made with the understanding that I agree to have a total new upper denture (which was not necessary). I strongly recommend you do not waste your time going to this Myrtle Beach facility unless Dr. ** is removed from the business. If this review saves one person from having the worst medical experience of their life I will feel that I have helped save them from the ordeal I went through. I am not afraid to list my name.

Back in 2013 I have to have dentures made because I have periodontal disease. The first Dentist that I spoke with said that he could fix my bottom teeth and that I would just need to have my top row of teeth removed and a full denture put in its place. Then the Dentist that "owns" the practice decided to pull all of my teeth and then put the denture in right after all of the teeth were removed. That night I was in so much pain because the only thing they would give me for pain was **. you can't pull 22 teeth and give someone ** for pain. I quickly learned that they do NOT care about the patient at ALL. All they want is money and they do not care about a patient's well being.
I finally ** enough and they gave me ** which didn't help but they said that was the strongest medication they could give. After my final pair of dentures were made, I bought the ultra set hoping they would be great and they were horrible. They didn't fit well at all and I had to go in multiple times to have them adjusted and have soft liners put in to help them fit. Ever since I went to them I have constant pain in my jaw and my gums hurt constantly. I asked for a refund and was told to bring in both sets of dentures and I would receive my refund at the office. Well they lied again. I have to wait 2 weeks for a check to come to me, but they received their dentures back which I find to be completely absurd. All this practice does is lie to people to get their money. They need to but shut down and they need to be investigated by the Dental Association.
I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to them. They are liars and they are scam artists. Now I have to live with the pain that they cause me for the rest of my life and I'm only 27. It's sickening that places like this are allowed to do things like this and get away with it. We need to get together and file a class action suit against all Affordable Dentures that have screwed people over.

I have dealt with Affordable in the past - not really pleased with the service or quality of the product. The dentures I purchased did not fit correctly, needed to be repaired about a dozen times, and FINALLY BROKE, of which I swallowed a portion. Since we are going to move, I wanted to purchase an inexpensive set of partial dentures (purchase a better pair after the move). We agreed about a price on the phone and when I went to my appointment EVERYTHING CHANGED!!! I was charged for xrays (that I did not need).
At this point I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED TO PURCHASE A MORE EXPENSIVE SET OF DENTURES, and when I REFUSED, they said I was a hostile patient and REFUSED ME TREATMENT!!! I am in poor health. I have had 3 open heart surgeries, and I was treated SO POORLY. I left there in tears. For a company that treats mostly elderly, and people on fixed incomes, THIS IS DEPLORABLE!!! By the way, the denture that needed all of the repairs, and broke, was their more expensive denture. Beware!!!

My first appointment with Affordable Dentures was in the Forest Park, OH (Cincinnati) location, mid last year, 2015. I was there for a consultation. I was told that they could make my removable implants or crowns. I was told they would start with the uppers. I was given prices for the uppers & lower implants. I agreed to the procedure & prices. The reason they wanted to start with the uppers is because the lowers required removing my remaining lower natural teeth & surgically evening out my gums because of the decrease in the mandible bone laterally. Therefore, the front lower gum, where my natural teeth were was higher.
This location at that time did not have the sedation or putting the patient to sleep method. (The sedation method is now done at this location) They suggested that I either wait approx. until they started that procedure later this year or 2017. They also suggested the option of having the surgery done elsewhere & return to them to make the implants. They made a beautiful set of upper implants after I chose the color that I wanted. The uppers also required Orings. They used Black Orings to help hold the Implants in on the plate & posts on my maxillary bone because I have small bone structure & cannot wear a regular denture..
The new upper implants looked nice & fitted tightly. In fact it is very difficult to remove them for cleaning. It is still difficult to remove them, sometimes they will not come out. When I complained or mentioned this, the tech would listen & made one or two adjustments. However, that did not prevent the problem from happening again. The dentist seemed to be upset when I mentioned any problems with the denture. Anyway, I decided to go elsewhere to have the lower surgery done, so I could be put to sleep. As A.D. was aware of, after the surgery, there is a 3 month waiting period of healing &shrinkage of the gums, before the new implants can be put in.
When I called A.D. back to have them make the new lower dentures, they refused. The dentist would not come out to talk to me. The waiting room was empty, I was the only one there. So the receptionist told me they could not do the work at the same price as quoted previously & that they did not do that procedure anymore. She also said let me go talk to the dentist because I am not sure. When she returned (this was after the dentist & his tech came out of his office into another room, glancing in my directions, w/out comment). She said, " The dentist said there is nothing else he can do for you. You will have to go somewhere else." Then she turned away from me & begin doing some work on the computer.

I chose Affordable Dentures in Akron Ohio, merchant ID number 03102373, because of one day service although I knew there was no way they could do one day service. Two days maybe. Nearest office was 32 miles away, 64 round trip. First appointment was 8 AM. I was there 15 minutes early. They were 10 minutes late opening up. Sat in the waiting room 30+ minutes, then sat in the chair over one hour. They tried to get me to pull two teeth on my lower jaw. Being retired with no insurance it wasn't going to happen. All I needed was an upper denture replaced. I picked their 2nd highest priced dentures. $920.00. They did the impression of my upper gums as well as my existing denture. They had me pick the shade of teeth I wanted. They told me to come back at 2 PM. I killed 5 hours walking around Walmart and restaurants.
I returned at 2 PM and after an hour was seated in the chair. They brought a wax cast in with white teeth installed. Although mine wasn't stained they weren't pure white. They said they only keep white teeth there and would have to order anything else. A week later I got a call said they had them. Another 64 miles. They had the new teeth in a wax casting and it was still not what I ordered but settled because they were only a couple shades off. They said come back around 2 PM. I wasn't going to try and kill another 5 hours so went home then went back at 2 PM. Another 64 miles. The teeth was finished or so they said. They put them in and they were so uncomfortable and the teeth stuck out like a cartoon donkey's teeth would look like. They ground 7-8 times trying to make them work. Each time my gums hurt worse. Finally they sent me home and said if they needed adjustments they would do them the next day.
That night I tried to eat a sandwich. Every bite I took the suction would release and the dentures would come out in my sandwich. Next day, another 64 mile trip. Set in the chair over an hour. Finally got in and was told nothing was wrong with them. I showed them when pressure was put on the front the back released. Again they ground and ground. Gums hurt worse after each time and the dentures got looser. After several times they said they would need relined. I refused to make another trip. They took more impressions and said give them one hour and they would make it right with me. I set in the waiting room over two hours. Finally I went up demanded my money back. Since it's the digital age I now have to wait 2 weeks before a refund will be sent to my account. DO NOT GO TO AFFORDABLE DENTURES. There is no exaggeration or misrepresentations to this complaint.

I received my permanent dentures 2 weeks ago. I was upset with the practice because my dentures were loose. I complained but got a second opinion. Turns out my dentures are loose because I have a flattened ridge. I wish I were told that every time I went to the practice. Maybe I was told once, but do not remember. The dentures are absolutely beautiful. I did disparage the practice, but now I want to apologize. I did not know about my flat ridge/bone. The sad thing is I know people who have had gum disease and smoked for decades and don't use denture cream. I know life's not fair. So, Poligrip I will be using you for a long time. People, don't always blame the dentist for poorly fitting dentures. Sometimes you have realized it is part genetics and part gum disease that determines how dentures fit. My apologies to the Port St. Lucie office.

First I would like to say that I had a great experience with the techs and the front desk. So, kudos to them. I am a senior living on a fixed income. I have spent close to $5000 on Affordable Dentures with my extractions, temp dentures and top of the line permanent dentures. I had extractions and temporary dentures done in March 2016. Finally, In November 2016 I got my permanent dentures. They are beautiful, but they are loose. One day I asked for an opinion from the dentist who runs the Affordable Dentures in my area. He explained that I didn't have a lot of bone for the dentures to hold onto. But it is what he did next that upset me.
Again, I am a low income senior. It must be tough for those sitting in their ivory tower to understand that there are those of us who really are elderly and don't have unlimited funds. The doctor asked if I wanted to run my credit to see if I could get a loan for implants. Meanwhile, I owe a ton of money to Care Credit. I HAVE LIMITED FUNDS, DOCTOR. What about that does he not understand?? I was crushed. He could have spent more time with me. But I then realized he doesn't have a bit of empathy. It's all about money for him.
People, spend more somewhere else. Although the staff were perfect, if the person who owns the franchise doesn't care if you live or die, it is time to go somewhere where one is valued. He spent maybe five minutes with me because he had to run off. No doctor in my life has ever treated me this way. Ever. I live in Port St. Lucie FL.

"What a laugh" as if I know how, and then she said I needed to pay for a new set according to DR Herron the owner of the place. I told them no way since it was still under warranty. So I'm looking for anybody that has go under my circumstances because I'm going to take them to court after almost a year of suffering and want to know who wants to join me on this?

I've worn a partial denture for my front tooth since I was 14, I'm 34 now. I've had 4 different sets, all done at different Affordable Denture locations. I've always been at the least content and satisfied in how it looked. Not always a great fit but it's more appearances first for me. The Davis Hwy branch was terrible from A-Z! First, my appointment was for 7:30 a.m, they opened the door at 8. Ok, no problem. I get to the back and the assistant inspecting my mouth, missing its front, is insisting negatives about getting dentures as opposed to an implant. I'm quoting him saying "This is garbage".
So yeah, I'm feeling real great about being me now, having hard enough time getting enough money together for the cheaper, dentures. Right! Still, I'm ecstatic because I'm getting my smile back today. Then we do the impression and try the wax mold. So the tooth is 1/2 the size of my front tooth next to it, it's sticking out and doing so crooked and denture plate won't allow me to close my mouth. I tell the assistant after she takes it out she says I'm going to tell the dentist. So the lady comes back very argumentative about not being able to eat with a denture so now it won't close all the way. I tried telling her without her cutting me off that I'm not talking about eating with the Denture I'm talking about being able to close my mouth and half size tooth sticking out crooked.
So instead of putting it back in my mouth, she brings the mold and ruler, demanding they are the same size. I finally convince her to place it back in my mouth and discuss then. (Wow)!! So when she sees it, Oh, it's shorter! But I can't get her to listen about closing the Gap in between my two front teeth a little bit. She keeps telling me it can't be done even though I know I can. So this went on for a few hours and when I got the denture at least where it looks like the same size and my mouth almost to close I left and even told them if they didn't want to fix it I would go home with a Dremel and fix it myself. Because they were so mad at that I was saying it wasn't right. The Denture plate does not even touch the top of mouth only sits on the teeth.
If this would have been my first time I would have accepted what they were saying that these pictures are just for cosmetics and very temporary just to get you to the implant. However the truth is a lot of people including myself cannot afford an implant without dental insurance and have to live with the Denture. And if they took an ounce of Pride like they were supposed to in putting my tooth in somewhat straight it's something I could live with but these people disrespecting me and made me feel so low and degraded cause I can't afford an implant. I don't even want to go back and have them fix it if they did it for free that which I know they wouldn't anyways. Hands down one of my worst experiences in my life ever.

We went to a different dentist and found out these dentures are made so cheap wouldn't last for over a year. If I could give no stars I most definitely would! Worst experience I have ever had in my 63 years! I had a complete custom upper plate made to replace one I had made when I lived in the Philippines and they were five+ years old, BUT I only paid $100 for them and they fit great! The dentist at the Redding clinic was rude and would not listen to what I wanted and did what she wanted instead which caused me to have to wait two weeks for her and staff to return from vacation. After they returned on June 15, 2016 I was told I had to make an appointment for adjustment so I made an appointment for the 17th at 8:00 am. After we sat there in the waiting room for almost two hours, they finally came and took me to one of the rooms to wait for the dentist. When she came back to see what I needed I explained that I was in need of an adjustment and had to wear my old dentures to eat because the new upper would not stay in.
After sitting in the dental chair another forty five minutes the dentist came back and says; "We are too busy today to adjust your denture so you will need another appointment tomorrow." We showed up again on the 18th at 8:00 am and we sat for almost 2 hours again. Then after I was called to go to a dental room I sat in there over an hour before anyone came to see what I needed. After I explained what was needed I sat another 45 minutes. All in all I sat in that room a total of 3 hours plus the waiting room time and I still did not get what I asked for and they rip you off by making you pay in advance. I wasted $665.00 at this terrible facility and a lot of time. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially those on a fixed income! If you complain they make it seem like it is your fault for their 3rd rate business practices.
Plus she would chew out her staff in front of customers for everyone to hear. Many patients left those 2 days because of excessive waiting and told to come back another time. I forgot to mention that I had to pay $90 for x-rays I did not need! Plus I had a Free $25 consultation card that my sister gave me which as a new customer I was to get a Free complete consultation. I never received a consultation, none at all! I was so livid I could have exploded especially after 4 months one of the eye teeth on my brand new custom upper plate fell out while I was eating a cheese sandwich and before I knew it, I swallowed the damned thing! No I didn't look for it. Lol! Still wearing my old denture.

My dentures have split down the center into 2 pieces 3 times & each time I miss an entire day of work. This happened a week ago. I paid $100 for the repair & now here it is Friday & it's broke again! I am stuck at home all weekend and will be missing another day at work on Monday! Maybe if a dentist were there to properly fit my denture or figure out why it is breaking, I wouldn't be in this situation again! I have never seen a dentist there, even when I was getting a new denture. One time I did see a very dirty, ungroomed man go in with a patient and wondered who he could be but I don't think I would ever let someone like him even touch my mouth. It just seems strange to me that the patients don't see a dentist. Affordable Dentures needs to be looked into.

I suffered at home for days with excruciating pain from a dry socket and could not get help from this outfit. I finally self-treated with clove oil and Q-tip. The office charges before you go into the back to see the dentist. While I was getting X-rayed the attendant who did the actual X-ray told me she just had dentures made there and showed me a mouth full of probably the ugliest looking set of dentures I ever saw. I had dentures made at this office. Big mistake. The ladies in the back seem to care but the office guy and owner (note father and son) protect the company and don't care. I had my first set made. Bought the 800 package. I came back 2 days later to get it adjusted. It was rubbing and was handed a piece of paper saying adjustments are by appointment only and from 10-11am. I said, "Folks work. I can't take off all the time to adjust these." Around and around we went. Finally the rubbing stopped but became extremely loose. The girl said, "Ok, we'll try a temp adjustment." They did that and my mouth tasted horrid. I broke out in blisters and got a severe headache.
I called the office on Monday. Said I was having an allergic reaction to the temp filler and they said use Listerine and hung up. I called back and said, "It not just the taste but I'm sicker than a dog from these." They didn't care. I then took a knife and pulled the filler out piece by piece til it was gone and was back to wearing the loose fitting (but the nausea and headache were gone). Went back and said I just want my final done so they did it. The office mgr, not a tech, not the dentist the office mgr did it and it was wrong. It wouldn't fit right. Couldn't eat, can't smile, can't talk.
I went back again and said, "You would fix these. They don't even line up!" They assured me they were fine but would fill in this set to make it better. I went to Aspen (2nd mistake), got a 2nd opinion and x-ray. They could not believe the horrid denture I had and assured me they would fix it and make it great. 3 weeks wait. I can't do that so Aspen is out, Affordable won't warranty the work and I continue to lose weight, no smile and stressed out. If I could find a lawyer that did dental cases I would sue Affordable. Oh and any review you put on facebook they remove and block you so only happy clients ever show. Wish I knew about this site prior.

I have had bad teeth most of my life, due to genetics. I have always wanted a beautiful, white smile. Unfortunately, I am not a rich person, and Affordable Dentures was the only way I could afford "new" teeth. I had several teeth pulled, which believe it or not was a nice experience, due to the care and manner of the dentist there. I have no complaints on her at all. What I do have complaints on is their lab techs and their other workers who take the impressions and such. My dentures have never fit right. They are off center, and are way too big. They are also way too long, and with that and the ill fitting way, I can't wear them because I gag. Seriously. I explained this to them and they gave me an adjustment, which was included in my new denture wearer package. The adjustment didn't do anything. They were still too long, too big, and I was still gagging. So back I go again. I heard excuses from them.
After another trip, they give me a soft liner. So I was no longer allowed to clean my dentures unless it's with bleach water! Otherwise, the liner will bubble, they say. They still were way too long, way too big. So, another trip to their office. The tech used a grinder on them some, but still it did nothing for me. In the meantime, my partial on the bottom cut into my gums, and are also too big. The tech ground them down alright. Not the part where it cuts into my gums, but the actual tooth part!! They said that the roof of my mouth was flat and that's why the denture wasn't fitting properly and they couldn't do anything for me. So I asked for my permanent denture, which is part of my package I have already paid for in full. They refused, saying they would not make them until a year was up. And that they would do a hard liner in 4 months, but not until. They sprayed my denture with something, and stuck them in my mouth and sent me on my way.
Whatever it was they sprayed on my denture made the soft liner bubble up, so now not only do I have too big, too long, ill fitting denture, I have one that hurts because the liner bubbled and went into hard little lumps. They will not do anything for me at all. The techs refuse to listen or take responsibility for their bad craftsmanship of these unwearable dentures!! Now I look horrible, with no teeth and unwearable dentures. They do not care about their patients, they only want to bring money in. They are holding the money for a denture (and I went with the top of the line Ultra package) that they refuse to do until next year. This is wrong, and they should be held accountable for what they have done and make a new set for me that actually fit!! Beware. If you can afford another place other than Affordable Dentures, go there instead.

First of all, I had to take out a whopping loan from Care credit to get extractions and dentures. It is called a package. But Affordable doesn't give you the permanent dentures for a YEAR. This means they are floating the money I paid them for a full year and I do not have the permanent dentures. This is strange. A full year to get permanent dentures when most other places make you wait six months at the most. This is not to have your gums heal, the heal within six months. It is to float your money and put off getting the permanent dentures till the last minute. I had a fairly good initial visit with the place, however the tops of the healing dentures had to be remade because they looked like buck teeth. My dentures got loose... you get one temporary reline with this place, that is it.
I went for my temp reline a week ago and now it is peeling off. I was told not to soak them, I did not soak them. I washed them with a toothbrush and soap and water. Now the temp liner is coming off. Kind of disappointed. I know the ladies where I go will make a fuss. They usually do. Well... if you didn't do this, or didn't do that, this would have not happened. Yeah, right. I want to see what their reason is for the peeling off of the temp liner. I have not soaked it. I really want to wait only six months for the permanent dentures. I do not want AFFORDABLE to float the money I am paying on credit for a year. Seems unethical.

I was immediately fitted with temporary dentures. At that time, they were staffed with a female dentist named Amy, who had horrible bedside manners, and I had to go back several times to get them relined, etc. For the last year I have tried but been unable to eat solid food with the temporary dentures. I have had to blend everything, even chunky soup! They just wouldn't work and they were so uncomfortable. I left them out most of the time. I went into a depression but reconciled myself to the fact that I would never eat a cheeseburger or anything solid for the rest of my life.
Anyway fast forward to June 27, 2016, when I returned to Affordable Dentures to get my permanent dentures. I had opted (and paid $1,700) for the ultimate package which is their top of the line dentures. So they had an entirely new staff, new dentist named Chris when I came in. Chris was amazing! He remarked, "No wonder you couldn't eat with these things -- they are totally misaligned and the bite is way off. I will make sure your new dentures have the perfect bite." Imagine my shock when I got the new dentures the very next day and I was FINALLY able to eat and chew solid food again without blending or even cutting the food up!!
The entire staff at Affordable Dentures are so friendly, so amazing. I can't say enough great things about them! My smile is perfect. The teeth look so much like real ones compared to the fake, awful temporary ones. They are so comfy. I leave them in all day now and hardly notice them. I still am pinching myself to see if I'm dreaming after biting into a cheeseburger for the first time in over a year. I am in heaven!! THANKS A MILLION TO CHRIS AND ALL THE STAFF AT AFFORDABLE DENTURES! You see, I really believe the experience you have with dentures highly depends on the quality of dentist you get.

After the X-rays went to the back. The doctor looked at her within two minutes said "we have to removed all her top teeth." My mom who is a sweet middle-aged lady looked frightened (she doesn't speak a lot of English) but understood and I told her. What was awkward that the doctor stared at her without breaking eye contact for her, biting his pen and then said "well this is what happens when you don't clean your teeth" and I took that as way too upfront and aggressive. He then said we're done, quoted us $4000. After reading all this reviews I will NOT be taking my mom there. They sound like butchers. Same stories, rude, aggressive. When I knew I could get my upper replaced with Affordable Dentures that would cost me a little over 400.00. So now I have put out 1,000.00 more but I have a warranty for 3 years now. I know they will last longer than 2 years. Affordable Dentures staff was rude and they made me feel like I was wasting their time. So what I have to say is SAVE THE TRIP WITH AFFORDABLE DENTURES AND FIND A COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT YOU.

I have been going to Affordable Dentures for over 10 years and I have never had a set of dentures that fit as poorly as the new ones I had done a month ago. I have been back to get ADJUSTMENTS made and they still don't fit right. The bottom denture is crooked and does not line up in any direction which I feel is creating the soreness in my mouth. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone ever. They do not take care of you as I feel they should. Really disgusted with this place.

I had a great experience at the Affordable Dentures clinic in Cedar Rapids, IA. I needed multiple root canals, which I could not afford. I told my dentist that I wanted all my teeth pulled and dentures placed. He refused because my teeth could be saved. A friend recommended the Affordable Dentures in Cedar Rapids Iowa. They were great. I told them I wanted all my teeth pulled and full dentures. They didn't try to talk me out of it at all. They set up an appointment to do it all in one day. They did impressions in the morning. I came back in the afternoon and she pulled my teeth and placed immediate dentures. I came back a few months later and she placed the final set of dentures. I had two adjustments and now they fit perfectly. The doctor and her staff were all super nice! I definitely recommend them!

Wow, have I been lucky. The Lake Charles, LA office is wonderfully staffed with friendly nice people. I wish all my dentists had had such a good chairside manner. I'd been so traumatized as a child, I hyperventilate, regardless. He was funny and sweet and had me so relaxed in no time. My teeth came out easier than they ever had anywhere else, even the old canine crowns I hated. They came out with bone (but I wasn't surprised. They were very sturdy.). Through all the adjustments they have been cordial, polite, friendly and competent. My lowers have broken 4 times, but not from anything they could help. I had horrible swelling at the front, and they had to remove so much material, to put in enough soft lining it didn't hurt. Every time they have awesome about repairs.
They have always told me to come back any time I had to if they hurt, to not let it become a sore. I think if you can, make a trip down here to see them. I live 50 miles away, I have a battery powered acrylic nail file ($8.00 Wal-Mart) that I use for fine tuning, so I don't have to traipse back and forth so much. Get one! You can buy Reline-It at Walgreens for $6.00 if you have to. It is possible to live a distance away, and go back now and then.

On 3/10/16 I went to the Affordable Dental clinic on Poplar Ave. in Memphis, TN. I had researched them on their website and knew which service I wanted. I have worn an upper denture and a lower partial for 30+ years so I knew I wanted to get a full set of dentures. I, like probably most of their patients, chose the most economical, the basic denture. The dentist pulled the remaining 5 teeth I had and then I waited a couple of hours while they made the dentures. The top one was fine, no problem. The lower, the tech had to take it back and work on some places that were rubbing on my gums. She did this two or three times. When she came back she put it in my mouth and told me to wear them for a few days and see how it went.
I could tell they were way too loose but she never looked at them in my mouth or felt of them to see if they fit. She never checked them at all. I left knowing they were way too loose but she had more or less dismissed me. Since that time whenever I try to eat I would have to cut my food into tiny pieces and even then the dentures would come out when I tried to eat. A couple of weeks later I happened to be in Memphis and stopped by there. They had said walk-ins were welcome and I thought they might could see me. She said if I wanted to wait they could see me in a couple of hours - BUT - if I wanted to pay $30.00 they would put me at the top of the list. So does that mean if you pay extra you get preferential treatment. I did neither and left.
Today, 4/21, I went back over there (I had made an appointment). I knew one of the conditions of my services was that I could get 2 adjustments within 60 days. Imagine my surprise when I was told that an adjustment is when they do something to the denture like. What I needed was a reline. The "good" reline was $200.00 and a "soft" reline was $70.00. So even though they never "fitted" me with the lower denture and the only place my gums have shrunk is in one little spot where two teeth were pulled, I had to pay for a reline - and it's a temporary one at that. I don't know if it will last a year or a day. But now I have a feeling it won't last long.
We aren't rich people, we live on Social Security and try to spend wisely. I went to Affordable Dentures because of their low prices but I did expect to get what I was paying for. I feel since no one checked and saw how loose my bottom denture was that I should not have to pay for a reline. It makes me wonder if this is just a way to get extra money.
Updated on 05/16/2016: This is a follow-up to my previous experience with this office. On May 16th I called Affordable Dentures in Memphis to make an appointment to have a hard reline done on my 2-month-old denture. The girl said she would pull my chart and call me back. An hour and a half later I called again and was told the dentist was not in yet but they would call me back. (I should have known something was up when she just didn't make the appointment for me). Shortly after I got a call from them and I believe the person said her name was Dr. **, she proceeded to tell me that she would not see me anymore because I had written a libelous letter about them on the Internet. I did write the letter and sent to their corporate office and several other places but there was not one seed of untruth in it.
She proceeded to tell me that she is also a lawyer and was considering bringing me up on charges. I told her that my daughter was also an attorney and I had talked with her before I wrote the first letter. At that time Dr. ** said "well bring her on"! I told her no, that was not what I wanted to do. I simply wanted to come in with my cash money and have a hard reline done. She said I was the ONLY person to ever say the soft reline only lasted 2 days but as you can see in my letter above, I never said that! In truth, it was about 5-6 days. She kept saying that I lied but I kept asking her what I lied about and she never answered. First she said that she would not see me anymore and I said "not even to finish the work you started?" Then she said she would see me one more time, for an adjustment and that would cost me $40.
I asked her what she meant by adjustment and she said to take care of any problems or pain I might be having. I told her I had no pain, I just need a reline. She said "I refuse to see you anymore, you will get a letter stating so and I will refer you to a specialist." And then she promptly hung up on me. This woman was so angry with me I could almost smell the smoke coming through the phone. I have not said anything at all that was not true. All she had to do was reline my denture, take my money, and it would have all been over. But now I've been threatened to be brought up on charges!? Like I said DOCTOR, my daughter is a lawyer also so in your own words "bring it on". By the way, I am getting my reline and it's less expensive than your charges!

I truly wish I had read all of these reviews prior to making an appointment to get a partial. If I could give this place a negative 10, I would. When I initially called to inquire about services, I asked if they took walk-ins. The receptionist indicated that I should make an appointment because they do take walk-ins, but those with appointments took precedence. So I scheduled an appointment to get a replacement partial. When I arrived and checked in, I waited about 30 minutes. The technician was extremely rude and abrupt and didn't offer much assistance other than guiding me to the highest priced partial, which I purchased. The dentist was in an out and told me to come back tomorrow at 10 am. She didn't say why, just come back tomorrow at 10 as she went into the next room. I paid at the receptionist desk and told her I guess I was done and needed to come back the next day. She told me it probably was for a try in.
I returned the following day at my scheduled time and waited 50 minutes before being called back. After being called back I sat in the chair for another 20 minutes. I got up and went to the receptionist and said that I just wanted a refund. I could understand the wait if I didn't have an appointment but it was ridiculous. The technician and dentist then came running and saw me immediately when I asked for a refund. They explained that it was extremely busy because it was income tax season. I tried in the partial, explained what I didn't like and it took about 20 minutes. Three weeks later I got a call that the partial was ready. I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived there was a 45 minute wait. I figured they had my money so they didn't care anymore. When I put the partial in, none of the changes that I requested during the try in had been made. The dentist encouraged me that it looked great and to try it.
I called back the following day because I did not like the look at all. All of the back teeth were shorter than the rest of my teeth. Scheduled another appointment with another 40 minute wait to get more impressions. The rude technician didn't understand what I was explaining about the teeth being shorter than the rest of my teeth and appeared as if I was inconveniencing her. She even said to the dentist ''I don't know what she's talking about.'' The dentist came in and when I compared their partial to my current partial, she said ''yes - she is correct.'' Then yet another appointment the following day for another try in. I arrived and checked in and sat for an hour and fifteen minutes. I saw people that came in after me being called back, so I finally asked the technician when she came to call someone else back where I was in their pile. She said "let me check" and found the receptionist.
The receptionist asked ''did I check you in - oh my bad, I must have forgot'' and all I could do was shake my head. I felt like my hands were tied but really wished I had listened to my initial instincts and gotten that refund when I asked during my second visit. I went back and when they brought the wax try in, one of the side teeth fell out. They kept running back to replace the tooth and after several attempts it was placed where I wanted it. I took pictures because I didn't want them coming back to say I approved the try in when I knew the tooth kept falling out. I stayed about an hour trying to get the partial the way that I wanted it, but the dentist was rushing, didn't take the time to focus directly on me, as she was back and forth between patients. I left and made sure that I took pictures to document what I had approved. Three weeks later I got a call that the partial was ready.
When I got there, I was called back in about 5 minutes. First time that had ever happened, but I soon found out why that was the case. Another technician gave me the partial and I put it in. I noticed that the side tooth that kept falling out during the try in was pushed way up in the partial. After a little while, the dentist came in and said "how do you like it." I said I don't and I showed her the tooth in question. She had another partial in her hand and said "oh no that's the wrong one, this is the new one." I put the one that she had in her hand in and it was the same partial that I had previously asked to be redone. I told her that and she said "no it's not" and I said "well let me show you the pictures and you can compare." She didn't look at the pictures because she knew what she had done.
At that point I asked for a refund. The dentist told me that they didn't give refunds and they could only send it to the lab for repair. I told her that we would have to settle it in court because I wasn't giving anyone $1000 for something that I didn't like and I was not coming back for another appointment with them. I explained that I had missed so much time from work and I didn't mind including that lost time in my legal case. She then said that they could contact the "lab" to get a refund because the lab had made it and they would call me the following day to let me know the determination. I left the partial but recorded my interaction because I had some uneasy feelings about the integrity. About 20 minutes later, I got a call from the receptionist asking if I was still in the area because she had contacted "corporate" and they could issue the refund but I needed to sign some forms.
I told her I was back at work and asked if she could fax them and just credit my card that I used to pay. She said she would check and let me know. I never got a response so I called the following morning to schedule a time to just go back and sign the forms and confirm that they actually had the necessary forms to get my refund. I asked her if I could come at 12:30. She said she had a meeting at 12:30 but she had the forms and she would just get me to sign and run back to her meeting. I arrived at 12:15 trying to get there and just sign the form and swipe my card before her meeting. When I walk through the door no one was at the desk. I was very appalled because patient files were sitting in the desk and there was no privacy of the information that is supposed to be protected. I even went to the back and looked around in the immediate patient areas, but didn't see anyone immediately.
I sat until about 12:45 and then I called their corporate office and explained my situation and that I just wanted my refund processed. They told me that they operated independently and they issue the refunds locally and that corporate has no involvement in that. Totally contradicted what they tried to tell me but, I knew that. One of the technicians finally came from the back when someone else came in and I let her know that I was there for a refund and asked if anyone could help me. She found the form that I needed to sign on the receptionist desk but she didn't know how to process the refund. She said she didn't know where the receptionist was and thought she was at lunch and had gone to the food lion store. She said she should be back shortly.
After another 15 minutes of waiting I called back and let the technician know that I needed to return to work and had a 12:30 appointment scheduled and that if the receptionist was going to be at lunch or not available I don't know why she confirmed this time. But that was so much if the reason why I would NEVER waste my time or money with them again. The technician said she was going to call the receptionist to see where she was. Five minutes later the technician came and said that the receptionist was in the back eating lunch (and mind you they don't have a back door). I said I figured as such. She came walking up a few minutes later (and only probably because another patient finished up and she had to process her payment). It took five minutes to get all of the paperwork straight and swipe my card.
I'm not sure if they collectively were trying to see if I would hold out on getting my refund if they made me wait or are just plain incompetent but their tactics will bankrupt them. They truly made me realize that affordable means you will sacrifice quality or service and in this case both. The dentist is way over her head but she's greedy so they will pile people in and inconvenience them to make a quick dollar. Beware.

I had to have my implant pulled and out and had three infections around the implant. I was told that I had enough bone to have implants. So I paid for all my services. Then the doctor pulled my 10 teeth on bottom jaw. He was rough. Guess he wanted to go home. The teeth are cheap and they broke. They said "Next time you have to pay and should get deluxe set.." I said "Really. You told me I was getting the deluxe set when I got these."
The worse thing that happened was when they pulled my teeth I had to take my top plate off and lay it on the counter where the dentist was. I left my teeth but they were closed. Went back the next day I asked the dentist who pulled my teeth "Oh" he said "The cleaners must have thrown them away". I couldn't believe it. Well I went up front to office to ask if anyone turned them in no one had. PS Don't go to this place. In the time I went there I saw a new dentist. Last I count I counted 4. Swinging door. Never saw a person that was young in there. If you need implants or teeth work done. and hear about this place. save the pain. Run run run!!! And I lived in Katy Texas when I had this work done.

I've worn dentures since 2004. Decided to get new dentures back in 2008 at Affordable Dentures in the Weeki Wachee FL location, and in 2013 I asked to get them relined because they started to feel loose, and was told it won't work. The doctor then started to explain to me about implants and I said "I don't want the implants", because I already knew I don't have the bone and am not a good candidate for implants. I also explained to him that I have a heart problem and take blood thinners which would not be good for me to have the surgery and implants. But he continued to discuss implants, and then I was charged $25.00 for consultation about talking about implants which I didn't even asked about.
On April 4, 2016 by appointment I went back to get a new pair of the best dentures they sell "The Ultra" at the cost of $1595 and to have a tooth repaired on my other set of the premium set of dentures. The dental tech came in and said "I see you're here for a repair", and I said "Yes, but I also made the appointment for a new pair of dentures too." She said, "Ok I'll be right back", and then she came back and said right to my face that she was told to tell me that I'm not eligible for a new pair and that they will not sell me another pair of dentures.
Let me say I was paying full price, with no insurance involved. I asked why I'm not eligible and she didn't know what to say after that. Then she said that I need to make an appointment again with the dentist to discuss implants. I told her I've been through this back in 2013 about me not able to have implants and she said "That is what they told me to tell you." So I asked to speak with the office manager to find out why they won't sell me another pair of dentures. They told me that there is no guarantee that the new pair of dentures will fit any better than what I have, and I said "What about taking new impressions?", they said "Still no guarantee". I told them "Ok I fully understand that and would like to have a new back-up pair since every so often either a tooth falls out or chips from my premium pair, and let me say, these were the best dentures they had at the time."
Anyway, they still didn't want to sell me another pair of dentures. I got the impression now that they are now pushing implants for dentures more than just a set of dentures. They told me to my face to go to another place called Value Dental, which shocked me. Then when I said to the office manager that I was going to refer two friends of mine and speak with my lawyer, it seems then she said they will sell me just new dentures with no implants. So now that all this was happening, I decided not to get the new dentures there because I was afraid that they will make me the worst pair ever to keep me from coming back again.
When I got my first pair of dentures back in 2008 from Affordable Dentures in Weeki Wachee, the dentist back then was the most wonderful person, but he had to leave due to personal reasons, and now this new dentist is nothing but a money hungry. So sad that this used to be a very nice location until the new people took over. Trust me when I say, they will sell you your first pair of dentures, but when you go back to upgrade for a new pair of dentures, they will not sell you another pair unless you get the implants to go with the dentures. I do not recommend Affordable Dentures at Weeki Wachee Florida Location!! Do what you want, but you were warned!!!

This place was like a chop shop, in and out, just to make monies and by the way the dentist owned the company. I made appointment to have two extraction and really the one tooth was so loose I could have pulled it out myself (wish I had). They do X-rays then made me take off the bib they had on me to go up front to pay my $400 prior to pulling my teeth? I couldn't believe it? Also I had some swelling on the one side where one of the teeth were pulled. I asked the doctor is this was some type of infection. He said no, it was from chewing on my gum. I was confused because before the tooth was pulled that day my gum did not touch my bottom gum? He gave me antibiotic after pulling the tooth so swelling went down.
Two weeks later I wake up with the whole side of my face swollen and had to go to the hospital. Hospital gave me antibiotic and said it was infection. Gave me a name of another dentist who I went to and he knew right off that it was an infection. I had to go back and have gum cut open. I had dead tooth in there. He showed it to me. It was quite large. It went so far to my sinus he told me not to sneeze. He removed all of the dead tooth and put cadaver tooth in there and stitched up my gum. He is the best dentist I have been to. But affordable dentist in Woodbridge, VA should be monitored and possible shut down. He was the worst, most incompetent dentist I have ever been to and I hope he is exposed so no one else receives this kind of poor treatment.

They were very unfriendly to begin with, never called her back, they waited 1 hour 45 min until my husband went and asked, then they said they forgot about her, sorry and gave them some paperwork to fill out. After my mom's visit she really didn't understand what the doctor thought she should do. The doctor did apologize for the wait stating they have a bunch of new people in the front and they apparently don't know what they are doing. Would not recommend that place.

I was in dire need, due to advanced periodontal disease which was genetically passed down by both of my parents. Being 60 years old, over the last 5 years had various infections which loosened a number of my teeth and had to have them removed. In doing this, I still had 25 teeth left in my mouth, which about 6 were very loose. It came to the point where my teeth which were (at one time) so close together, overlapping and not even being able to get dental floss between them. And with the extractions of single teeth over the last 5 years, my teeth began to spread out immensely and resulted in a most unfavorable set of teeth. I was totally embarrassed how I looked. My bottom front tooth had become so loose it just fell out and had a giant gap between my 2 upper front teeth.
It had finally come to the point where I had difficulty with eating food, so I applied for Care Credit and decided to finally bite the bullet. I went to a Dentist here in Phoenix, and they wanted nearly 12,000 to extract my teeth and replace with full dentures. Well, I am a poor person and do not have that kind of money, and never will. So, when I left that office I made a call to Immediate Dentures on Bethany Home Road in Phoenix. I did a lot of research previously as well as read many reviews. I personally was hesitant to make my decision to call this Affordable Denture office but I did. As I am sure, many of you have read reviews for this company, across our Nation, and have read horror stories, and personally I know a person who had uppers removed by this company in Conway Arkansas and was a total NIGHTMARE.
Now, I did call, and they said I could come in at 8:00 am the next morning for X-rays and Consultation, and would be able if I choose to have teeth extracted that same afternoon. I went to this office and had the procedure done. I did request Nitrous Oxide as I am not good with Needles and Pain in my mouth. I can't say that I felt any effects from the Nitrous Oxide and I do have to say, the Needles with whatever kind of Painkiller they used, DID HURT, A LOT. They had to put shots in places like the roof of your mouth, as I had to have all 25 remaining teeth removed. Which I only felt pressure and NO PAIN with the Removals.
Which brings me to after the fact. I do want to say that the all the staff at this office were nice, very nice, the Dentist was very knowledgeable and they are continuing to help me with this process. The Dentist took her time and did her best to remove any remaining broken tooth fragments. I had to have a new upper plate remade because 1. the original teeth were big and fat, as the Lab decided what teeth to place originally, and 2. the mid-line was way off center. They did not have any problem with re-making the top denture for me, they made a wax try-in with different, more feminine teeth. With the Immediate Dentures, they take mold cast with your teeth in and guesstimate the size of gums. Well, I have a very small head and mouth, and the dentures have quite a bit wider bite than my original teeth, I just hope that I will learn to eat solid food in time, as I feel my bite is where my denture gums are, not the teeth.
I had my teeth extracted on a Friday and was able to go back to work on Monday. Did have to have teeth glued in. I had my first Reline today, 3 weeks after my extractions. I have not had any ulcers, but I do have bone protruding out of my gums, which dentist said would wear down over time. The last 2 days was way too painful to put my dentures in so I went toothless and excused myself to my customers. The Reline has made a positive difference how the dentures fit and makes them more tolerable to have them in my mouth. Did, and probably will have to have lowers glued in all the time. Uppers fit pretty good now without any adhesive, But, I may utilize adhesive on the top plate as well. So all, in all, I am giving this particular office a favorable review. I will have next reline in 8 weeks and permanent dentures made in 9 months, and will probably have adjustments done in the meantime.

Originally went there to discuss dentures. Ended up with a bottom plate following extractions by another dentist. They have a 60 day period to take care of adjustments. I came back once because the plate was rubbing up against my gum. I waited in the chair for 45 minutes past my appointment time. They adjusted the plate and it was fine. I got a lecture fit for a child about how I should have gone with a plan that covers these sort of things and was reminded of all the waivers I signed. I asked the dentist to speak slowly as I am disabled. I returned two weeks later because the lower plate was loose. I was well within the 60 day period. I waited in the lobby for one hour this time. When I was taken back, two people I think were techs looked at my mouth. After about 30 minutes the dentist came in, lectured me about the waivers I signed and refused to adjust my plate.
I was pretty much subjected to a dentist who was very uptight about my decision to go for something cheaper, and I had already told her I understood the consequences, sure didn't need another lecture. I felt chastised like a child through much of my encounters. Being disabled and needing accommodation... speak slower... Isn't such a big deal and easy to remedy. They start out efficient but if you don't take the dentist/owner recommendations, things go downhill and she communicates her disapproval by making you wait extraordinarily long. Just because I asked the dentist to speak slower, and am disabled, does not mean that I should be treated like a child.
Perhaps the dentist felt I didn't understand stand what she was explaining, but I did, asked appropriate questions, and was subjected to a rant. I think the product I got is pretty good given what's going on with my teeth. Just wanted it tightened. Making a person wait more and more with each visit and having to listen to a rant is poor customer service to say the least and is intended to degrade the patient.

AFFORDABLE DENTURES ADVERTISES NO MORE LOOSE DENTURES. Aren't I, a loose-denture client, entitled to a re-do or a refund based on that ad? My dentures should fit. I EXPECTED IT. For every procedure the entire amount is due the morning of the first visit. All the risk is surely yours. My "ULTIMATE" Affordable Dentures, their most expensive package, rock from side to side, are uncomfortably loose and cause headaches. I can't talk or laugh without adhesive. Whenever I drink liquids it negates the adhesive and it must be reapplied again and again no matter where I am. Going out to dinner USE TO BE fun from what I can remember.
THE FRAUD: The trial teeth from their lab are ridiculously loose both times. You express concern about it and they tell you they'll CORRECT THE FIT LATER. Immediately they have you SIGN OFF ON THEIR FORM THAT THE TEST TEETH FIT. They pressure you to sign before the final denture is readjusted in the lab or retried again in the mouth. Once again they are covered whether you are happy or not with the finished product..
AT THE FINAL FITTING, LO AND BEHOLD the denture is far too loose AGAIN, does not line up with the bottom teeth AGAIN, so they tell you to wait six months (their catch phrase for lab errors). You wait six months, go back in and the teeth are even looser than the first day. The Tech stated since they redid mine before (off-center with bottom teeth), so I am not entitled to another re-do. I began to cry and asked the technician WHAT DID I DO WRONG! I paid for my teeth and signed their damn documents before I knew if my final dentures even fit. Their lab did not correctly make my dentures or they would fit perfectly. Isn't that AFFORDABLE DENTURES error each and every time it happens? YES.
So I contact AFFORDABLE DENTURES corporate office, the woman handling complaints. She contacts them and they tell her they redid my dentures once already (off-center the first and their second/final attempt "but that's as close as they will get to centering the teeth" and improperly hitting on the bottom teeth both times). She tells me it is up to each AFFORDABLE DENTIST to re-do, not re-do, refund, or not refund.
Dr. Mann decided I would not be receiving a re-do or refund. They were only willing to do adjustments if I had sore spots. Since the dentures are so loose I have no sore spots. What I do have lumps of flesh pinched inside my lip from the upper part of the denture flopping around. So I told this lady corporate is wasting money paying her to intervene if the decision is up to the individual dentists. Her contacting them has no impact whatsoever (no matter how much sense MY SIDE makes that all ill-fitting dentures are the fault of their lab PERIOD). The DENTIST did not wait on me at all that final day at their office. What an expensive lesson to learn at age 62. Thousands of dollars are gone from my bank account and expired dental insurance in December 2013. When I retired I will never again trust an assembly-line dentist that preys on the bulk of their patients whom are elderly!

After receiving temporary Dentures after ortho surgery, within 8 months the top plate (the only ones I ordered) had broken and was unable to wear. Had to attend Christmas holidays toothless since they were closed. I went back in and ordered their "PREMIUM" Dentures which are supposed to be the best, real looking, non staining Dentures available. They didn't fit at the time of receipt which was supposed to be the same day but was postponed til the next day. It has been exactly 60 days, and where the files them to fit, has broken and they are refusing to honor their own handy work without additional money, and I just want my money back so I can find some reliable Dentures elsewhere.
Regardless of the 745.00 I spent, all I got was stuck with them, and a hard time. And wanna mention that I'm currently residing in a homeless shelter and need the teeth to fight malnutrition. If you want what you pay for, do not get your dentures there. They have given me 2 broken top dentures in a one yr period and wanna charge me after offering free alignment for 60 days and today is the 60th day. Shame on you... Crooks.

Because I am a senior on Medicare without dental insurance, I called Affordable Dentures near where I live. When I arrived they examined me and I was told that I needed 8 upper teeth removed. I would only have local anesthesia because that was all they did. The extractions were all considered complex extractions at $185 per tooth. I also needed special x rays at $125. After my teeth were extracted, I would need to have the bone spurs smoothed off of my jawbone at $205 per quadrant = $410. Impressions were done and I chose the middle priced denture package for first time denture wearers at $1395.
After injecting many injections of local anesthesia into my upper jaw and the roof of my mouth, the doctor proceeded to take my 8 teeth out and then cut my gums to smooth down the jawbone and then stitched up all of my upper jaw. I was given Amoxicillin for a week for antibiotic and my temporary denture was placed in my mouth and sent home without any meds for pain. I also gave the receptionist a check for $3000, all out of pocket.
On 2/8 I returned for a recheck and explained how much pain I was having. The doctor gave me a peroxide based liquid to swish and spit and that was it. On 2/14, I was in so much pain and could feel areas of either sharp pieces of teeth or bone. I could not wear the dentures that were too horror my mouth and gagged me. I went to urgent care and was given another course of antibiotics, Clindamycin for 7 days and 5 pills for pain. I continued to try to deal with the pain and the sharp points of teeth or bone poking out of my jaw.
On 2/28, I was seen at our local ER at the hospital and was given another course of Clindamycin at a higher dose and 5 pills for pain and instructed to have an emergency appt. today. I went back to Affordable Dentures to be seen and was treated horrible. I started to cry out of frustration and continued pain and was told by the doctor, "Don't cry in here." I also was told that there was no bone or tooth pieces out of my gum. I told the doctor that they had even taken pictures of this in the ER. I left the office with my temporary dentures and called my primary care provider and they are getting me into an oral surgeon tomorrow. By the way, when I got home from Affordable Dentures, 2 pieces of those teeth or bone got loose and came out. I have them for proof when I go to get help with at least a partial refund of my $3000. I only wish that I had read these reviews before I went through this. Please be warned!!

The office is dead quiet. No one talks to patients. Even when I got my first pair under the new denture program I wasn't given any info on cleaning or how to use adhesive or even put dentures in correctly. When I've needed adjustments I've had to wait over a week each time. (Sign says, "Please give 24 hours notice if coming in.") Also all adjustments are at 9:30 a.m. I live 2 hours away. Signs are now up telling people. I guess enough complained.
It is 3 person office and the nurse is exceptionally rude. She will not allow you to ask questions or tell her what hurts. The dentist was there at time of first adjustment and I had a list with questions, and he looked at blisters, and told me he could only do one thing at a time. Then he left the office. The rude nurse brought my dentures back, placed them in my mouth. Trying to make nice I said how much better they felt. She said something about they don't need list, they know where dentures are rubbing, etc., true marks show, but I had questions on when do I come back for my "real" pair of ultimate dentures? My teeth are beautiful but very large as I've seen many describe. I'm ok since these are temporary. Also I wasn't asked any personal questions hopefully because my final pair is what they consider important.
If you have insurance they will not file of course but they also won't cooperate with your company when they have questions. I found out too late through local social media that I am not alone in all these feelings. I understand the assembly line they have set up. 6 people show up at 7:30 daily and pick up teeth at 1:00 or so. 9:30 is time for adjustments. The in-between is for making the teeth and the place is lights out by 3:00 on the days I've been there. (Store next door said that's the norm.) The level of disrespect to patients, lack of information, and delay in getting back in for adjustments that take only minutes is so unbelievable. Low prices are supposed to be due to mass services of some product, NOT due to rude staff and robotic-type treatment of patients!!!

I recently decided to have the rest of my teeth pulled and replaced with dentures. I choose Affordable Dentures as it was convenient to where I reside. The location of this establishment is on Bearss Avenue and Florida (US 41), Tampa, Florida. My initial visit was approximately 3 months ago for a consultation. All went well and was looking forward to the procedure and having a new smile! I went on the web the night before my procedure to see if there were any reviews on Affordable Dentures and lo and behold there were. After reading the reviews I became a little skeptical of their practices. I showed up for my appointment, which I did not receive a courteous call to remind me being I made the appointment over 3 month prior.
I was checked in and called in to exam room. The first remark from the assistant was "You have not been here in 90 days and our prices have increased. I will need to review your chart and give you a new quote" (1 of the reviews I read, mention this tactic). I mention to the assistant "I was a little curious" as I informed her I read some of the reviews posted online and they were mostly negative. She turned and looked at me and said "No one is forcing you to have your procedure here". Well the red flag went up, I informed her "With an attitude like that I definitely will not be having my procedure done here!" She told me to have a good day! I would definitely not recommend this facility to anyone to have their dental needs met.

I just wanted to write a follow-up review about Affordable Dentures in Rochester Minnesota, today I was seen in their office to fix the dentures that I have received from them previously in early February which I was not happy with nor was I happy with the cleanliness of the office. The doctor agreed to redo my dentures for free. Upon walking in the office, the atmosphere immediately was different, it seemed like he made some staff changes, the offices, and dental chairs were super clean. The dental assistant that helped me was super awesome, very polite, she was respectful and understanding, which was a good change from my previous visit.
The Dr. also gave me a free upgrade which I didn't really ask for but It was greatly appreciated. He genuinely felt bad about the situation. So I decided to rewrite this review because it's obvious that there were good changes in this business and I believe this particular office deserved a better review than what I gave them. Thank you for the awesome service today!

I called Affordable Dentures in Rochester, MN. I talked to Sharon the secretary to get some input on how I should do the process of dentures since this would be my second transaction with them (the first was just as bad). I only had 5 teeth left, Sharon told me that I needed to get the dentures beforehand so the dentist could put them in my mouth for proper healing. Well, surprise, surprise. When I went to the dentist, got my procedure done, my dentures were about 3 times too big. Every time I spoke or tried to put them in my mouth I choked and threw up. I should have never went before my teeth were pulled. The dentist who pulled my teeth confirmed that. I was taking the advice of Sharon. (Little did I know it is a return scam) I went back.
They did a soft re-line after arguing with the dentist for a half hour. (It was a free soft re-line) She was so animate to explain why I was wrong and she was right!! All the soft re-line did was fill in so my dentures were tighter (bottom). Now I have to wear these dentures 3x too big I look like a horse and I wasted $1300. The staff was defensive and rude. The office was dirty. Example: the nurse instructed me to put my top plate on a tray where there was someone else's tissue. Disgusting!!! I pointed it out and she totally dismissed it as if I was being rude!! I could go on and on. The only way I am getting a denture that fits is to pay for a new one - as stated by the young female doctor, because it's not their fault or responsibility!!
I took the advice of the secretary and when I met with a good dentist he was shocked at the condition of my dentures. I was scammed to feed the piggy!! Urggg I did not pay for the new wearer package because I did not need it, so this is what I get!! WORSE, HORRIBLE AND disgusting place I have ever been. Would not recommend at all. Don't waste your money!!! I will be driving 2 hours away to get my dentures fixed and call it a loss here. There is no reason to try. Worse people ever and for the redhead assistant there, she has an attitude the only thing she did the whole time I was there is rolled her eyes and smacked her lips. Be careful. I am serious. Heed my caution!!

The New Dr. that took over the Greenfield Office in Milwaukee was extremely rude to me. I only went in to have an implant bridge tighten. At the time he was tightening the implant screw he was making one nasty remark after another. The next day the screw had broken. I am now under the care of a courteous and skilled Dr. located in Brookfield. It cost more but now I really understand you get what you pay for. I personally think this office should be reported to a Board. Closing them down until they can come up to better standard. Oh must say the manager of this office, she was a great help during my transition.

On http://www.affordabledentures-riverdale.com/, the advertised price is $345 + $95 Routine extraction, but it shows a total price of $495. I should have known something was fishy because $345 + $95 do not add up to $495. Nowhere in the LARGE advertising language on the homepage does it say Routine Extractions are "per tooth". You have to go to "fees and schedules" before you can find, in very small print, the words, "per tooth". My Mom only had 5 teeth extracted, yet it cost me $1600+ for her new dentures.
One of the biggest scams is that for the $495, not only do you get the "basic" teeth, but you only get 30 days of "fittings". If you want follow up visits, it will cost you more, which I paid for. The extractions were 4 months ago and I made yet another appointment today for her to go in for a fitting. This is the 4th or 5th "fitting", the dentures are still rubbing sores on her gums.
On two of the "fitting" visits, they actually found bone slivers working their way out through the skin. Where did those come from and why did they not show up on the x-rays? The receptionist was rude, the nurse was awesome and the Dentist had about as much personality as a doorknob. I hope by writing this review, I can help someone else avoid the scam Affordable Dentures is perpetrating.

I read the hundreds of negative reviews. I knew the risks and still went anyway. Why? The simple truth is I was broke like I imagine most people who use Affordable Dentures are. The total cost to save my teeth was looking to be upwards of 10,000 dollars. I wanted my teeth pulled and Affordable Dentures was my only option due to financial issues.
The first visit was nice enough. The receptionists were polite even if they didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing. The only bad experience I had was a very rude lady who dealt with the mountains of paperwork I was filling out. You could clearly tell that she hated her job. With that being said you run into unpleasant people every day and unless you are incredibly thin skinned it shouldn't bother you. It was the least of my problems.
The initial appointment started with a consultation. I didn't actually have anything done that day. The dentist and an assistant came in and gave me the costs as well as explained the process. They were fairly thorough and had no problems answering my questions. At this point I figured that I had maybe dodged a bullet. I was very hopeful that I was going to be one of the lucky ones. I began to get suspicious when they refused to pull my teeth unless I agreed to buy their most expensive package. Being in a dire financial situation I really didn't have much a choice. The most expensive package isn't what I wanted but it was still far cheaper than getting work done elsewhere. I agreed and signed the necessary paperwork. My next appointment was going to be about a week later.
The next week I came in early in the morning to have my impressions made. This was fairly quick and I was only in the office for about an hour total. The impression taking process was very unpleasant and I gagged the entire way through. I personally don't blame the dentist because I do have a very strong gag reflex. Other than the whole process was very smooth. So far so good right?
Later that afternoon I came back to have 16 teeth extracted. I got to the office and waited about 30 minutes before I was seen. I got to the back and began injections. After this I went to a full blown panic attack and came close to passing out. The one positive is the dentist who was working on me took it in stride. I wasn't treated disrespectfully and after about 30 minutes the panic subsided and she was able to finish my injections and begin pulling teeth.
Getting 16 teeth pulled is about as pleasant as it sounds. I have had many teeth extracted in the past and this was by far the most unpleasant experience I have had. The most curious thing about this visit was there NO assistant involved in the actual dental work. The dentist was working alone for the entire time. Maybe this is standard procedure at some places but it felt odd to me. The dentist was VERY rough and borderline careless during the extractions. She had to yank especially hard to remove some of the teeth at the bottom of my mouth. I immediately felt pain despite being numb. Once the numbness wore off I could not open my mouth fully for days. It took a full week before I was out of severe pain. It honestly felt like she had broken my jaw. I decided to tough it out as I have a phobia of dentists. Once the severe pain was over my jaw was sore for the next two months. I'm fairly certain that isn't the norm for routine extractions.
Once the actual extractions were over they stitched my mouth up and inserted my temporary denture. Now I consider myself a very tolerant person. I was willing to look past the sales pitches, the potentially broken jaw, and the incompetent receptionists. What really set me off is when the denture itself was so poorly made that it would not even stay in my mouth. I knew something was up when the lady who inserted the denture told me that I would need to wear "a lot" of adhesive to get the denture to stay in. Fast forward a few months later and the denture does not fit at all. Even with adhesive it falls right out. I have several family members who have been through the same process elsewhere and they NEVER had these issues with their temp dentures.
As of now I essentially have no teeth and won't until at least 2-3 months later when I am supposed to return for my "permanent denture". It is incredibly humiliating. I returned to ask what they could do and they wanted around 300 bucks for a reline but recommended I just get a new denture made (which they of course wanted to charge me around 600 bucks for). I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They made an awful denture and refused to fix it. Suddenly all of the nightmare stories began to make sense. I kindly told them to screw off and that I would just wait a few months.
Remember when I mentioned the people up front being incompetent? The worst part is that they botched the paperwork with my insurance company and now I owe Affordable Dentures 700 bucks (which I really don't have). I implore anyone who is thinking about Affordable Dentures to listen to what I am saying. If possible save your money and wait or perhaps see if you have a family member who can help you pay to get the work done at a reputable dentist. You'll have the terrible experience that the rest of us did if you choose Affordable Dentures. You have been warned and you have no one to blame but yourself if you agree to their scam. For the record this was the office in Greenville, SC.

I spent over 1500.00 myself plus the money from my insurance with Affordable Dentures of Sun City, Arizona, only to be left with some temporary dentures and a Dentist who abandoned his patient. And did not refund the money I spent. Now I have sent email after email to Sibera ** and he has not responded. First I had to pay up front for the dentures, the best they had and was supposed to get them after a year. Every time I went into the office there was always another customer complaining. And the wait times were ridiculous, over an hour every time. To go along with that they actually called me the day before my appointment right until I paid the bill, after which they informed me they would no longer be providing any type of appointment reminder at all.
So now it is over a year later I still have the same original temporary dentures they made for me and they fit terrible, and I can get no response from the professional dentist associate with affordable dentures. I have even submitted a request for assistance through the website and got no response. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. Too late I found out what kind of a person he is and that he has several issues that have been disciplined for from the Arizona Dental Board. I plan to file a complaint with them as well as file civil suits, and inform my insurance company about the fraud this "trusted professional" had committed.

I'd like to start out by saying my smile has always been a sore spot in my life. With that being said I can't tell you how happy I was to finally be financially able to have my mouth redone. As far as the staff goes I will say they have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable. But I'm thinking when you're spending $3000 cash in advance for best materials they sell it tends to put them at ease. But my experience with these dentures have been far from good. The teeth keep falling out and I have swallowed too and now that they are 2 yrs old they don't want to cover anything. Something is truly wrong when you're eating a hotdog, spaghetti or any soft food for that matter and the teeth fall out. I think for further reference I will be getting second opinions and checking BBB for any purchases made in the future.

After taking a full mouth X-ray she broke one tooth off at the gums and after digging and drilling for thirty minutes said she still had to leave a piece of the root in there. She stitched about two inches across my mouth. She then said the roots on my teeth were too large. Why didn't she see that in the X-ray? I now have bone or roots sticking out of my gums on both sides and will likely have to go to an oral surgeon. She shouldn't be practicing.

This is not a negative review but a positive experience. I had an amazing and very pleasant experience. I'm new at dentures. I had 16 extractions and 3 implants done in my lower jaw. I went into the office originally on 12/7/2015 for my consult. Dr. ** spent time to answer all my questions (almost 30 min). I got my estimate and went to schedule my next visit. I returned on Friday 12/11/2015 for my implant consult and X-ray and my impressions. Dr. ** did my impressions and made sure they were done correctly. Had to do them twice cause the trays were too large.
My next day was set up for 12/14/2015 to have my extractions and implant done. Dr. ** numbed me up wonderfully! I have to say the extractions were not overly painful. He made sure I was very comfortable. The office staff is wonderful by making me feel comfortable and at ease. Carmen is WONDERFUL upfront! My teeth look good. I had recently relocated from MI to TX. Early spring I had a new lower partial made but had to add a tooth. That tooth was applying pressure to the partial and of course it broke in half after I moved. MI dentist unable to assist. Insurance won't pay for another one and I found no dentist who would repair my new partial. So I went to Denton Affordable. Now mind you I am 56 and have had dental prosthetic of some kind since age 12 due to an accident. But I know nothing about the process, RIGHT! After pulling 3 additional lower teeth that I just this week learned did not need to be pulled, Denton Affordable placed a large piece of plastic in my mouth. It had not fit since I received it. Every week I am in there asking for adjustments or something so I can eat, or avoid pain. My gums were lined with blisters. The teeth sit lower/shorter than my natural teeth, the bite is off, my jaw is now popping and painful.
I had asked that they replace it early on and was told it just takes time and they will keep putting a soft liner in it. I know this not to be true and this is not my first rodeo. Anyhow, after 8 weeks of back and forth I finally told them unacceptable and I want a refund. They offered to replace it, why would I want to go through that again? They also said they will refund it. But it comes with terms. They request refund from Corporate office and get a check in 7 days and I have to pick up in 7 days and hand over the denture. I asked that they give me the common courtesy to get another one made before they take this one. No that isn't happening. They pulled all the teeth, screwed up the denture and now can't even work with me. They could care a less about their customers. You believe that. Because whether they refund me in 14 days or 28 makes no difference to the bottom line. They can't resale the denture.
The only difference is they are forcing me out into public with nothing while I go through this process with a reputable dentist who won't make a denture overnight. You clearly get what you pay for. Unless you can afford the multiple visits to the facility to keep getting repairs and excuses for a shoddy lab, don't go there. Also be prepared to deal only with dental assistants. The dentist doesn't do anything in this facility but pull teeth. Everything else is done by the assistants. So I was given a phone # to call Corporate. After 45 min wait on phone, I learned that wasn't Corporate, it was patient relations. I asked what the refund policy was for Affordable. I was told that it is decided by the individual facility as they are individually owned. Well I was just told yesterday by Denton office, that the corporate policy is 30 days. Now how can it be 30 days if the final product isn't even fitting yet. 30 days from what?
They claim you just can't wear it 60-90 days and expect to get a refund. This makes no sense if you don't have a finished product. Then they continue to bully me and say you have until Monday 12/14/15 to request a refund and go without teeth (while your new one is being made by new dentist) or let Denton Affordable make me a new one and endure another 60 days of hell, or all options off table and you get nothing. So decide by Monday. While speaking to customer relations today I was told all they can do is take the complaint. And someone will call me back. The rep went so far as to tell me they only have two people, Mr. ** and Mr. ** that return calls on complaints for entire franchise LOL. I wonder when I might get that call. Surely not before Monday. Not really certain what my next move will be. I am certain Denton Affordable Dentures won't be making me a new one. I am pretty certain the horrible work has led to my jaw popping. Don't go there. There are other options.

Got so bad I called while I was away because I couldn't eat anything. They wouldn't stay in even with adhesive. Went straight back there when I got home. They convinced me to continue with adjustments. They are so unprofessional over there. I finally got to speak to the doctor again. Then he tells me my problem was I have bone loss and.that's just the way those teeth would fit. No X-rays are taken, just impressions by the technician. And she tells me it's whatever the lab sends back. What?!!! After you supposedly took proper impressions. Well I finally had enough and got my money back. Don't do it!!!

After having 18 teeth extracted two years ago and a lot of difficulty with lower dentures, I decided to have two implants on lower done. After having the one on the left placed in at an angle, it became very painful and infected. Three rounds of antibiotics and steroids didn't help so it was removed and after three weeks, replaced. When I finally had my dentures placed which I upgraded from economy to custom, the bottoms rub sores on my gums and the tops totally don't fit. No suction and hurt my mouth.
I have to fill them with paste and powder but after several hours, the pain is too much. I am very upset at the fact I was told by the two dentists at the office in Panama City, FL. that "I am just a person, that dentures may never fit and will always have to use paste. Let's face it, dentures are a pain in the butt." I was also told there is nothing else they can do to help me. Then my question is why did you take my almost $900.00 for something I can't wear and you can't help. If that's the case and "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION" means anything to your office, why wasn't I offered a refund? I would not recommend this office and am very displeased.

Worst experience ever. I went expecting quality functional dental implants. However, after my first visit when payment over $5,000 was paid. My concerns seemed unimportant. My smile was crooked, the top did not line up with the bottom. The housing to the the implant came loose... I only was asking for smile I wasn't embarrassed to show and functional teeth... I received neither. I went back and forth. Make note, I did not live in the same city. Every time, the staff seemed upset that I was back. In fact, a month after getting them I was taking a bite and a tooth fell out. I went this morning only to go back this afternoon, so apparently they have time to glue my tooth back in. I guess, I will be back for another visit next week. Not once in the multiple visits has the actual dentist came in to check on any of the challenges that I his patient is dealing with.

I have twice gone back to Affordable Dentures to complain that the dentures are not aligned with the center of my nose. They have yet to correct the problem. You pay for what you get and I bought the Premium dentures.

I went to the Greenville R.I. location a year ago, and once in 2007. I am a repeating customer. The last economy set I purchased was so poorly made that they even agreed to remake the bottom, again, then within 6 months it snapped in half eating a apple and caused me a lot of pain. So I just called them 10 minutes ago explaining my concerns and that I now have have Medicaid which they always took, but as July stopped taking. So I told them I need them to repair the denture that snapped free of charge since it was poorly made, and she said "NO YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THAT." I said "that's not right. You made me a terrible full set." Even the top in my mouth now has a chipped front tooth so, I will just go write some REVIEWS of your business. OVERALL, I am extremely dissatisfied and also it's hard to get them on the phone. They don't return calls!!!

I went to the Jacksonville office on 11/09/2015. I needed a new upper partial. I arrived for my 8 am appointment at 7.45. I was greeted by a warm friendly lady. 5 mins later I was in the chair. Told them what I needed as a result of my financial constraints. Dr. ** was fantastic as were all his staff. I left the office at 8.30 am returned at 2pm and was fitted with an excellent partial. I would highly recommend Affordable dentures in Jacksonville, Florida. Great job guys.

Buyer beware!!! Like most franchises, on the surface, it all looks very professional. In my attempt to be kind, I must say Dr ** and Dr ** are energetic, young and good looking personalities. Both are pleasant and mild mannered. So much so, it can easily catch you off guard. Even after day one of going through a brutal procedure of 18 extractions and botched up Alveoloplasty, I stayed positive and forgiving thinking it would all be worth it in the end. I am sorry to say that after 2 years, I see no end to the suffering. I have waited this long to make my comments hoping I could do so without my emotions getting the best of me. However, I continue to feel traumatized and robbed of my dignity, not to mention my $3000.00. I have read many of the other complaints and can relate.
I can say that I identify with most all of them. When you have been treated like less than an intelligent human being, it is literally adding insult to injury. Because I have been in the position of a business owner in the past, I see how easily they could have compromised their integrity. From my perspective, the doctors and all the staff seemed under tremendous pressure to see the fledgling business succeed and salvage their individual livelihood at all cost. In my opinion, they all suffer from compassion fatigue. To my observation, it looked like the dental assistance with the most compassion did not last long.

The clinic in Spokane was small, and the staff there were extremely rude. When my teeth were pulled and tried my new dentures on, I was disappointed with the look. One side of my denture had a tooth that looked like it had slipped in when they poured the mold. But the worst part were my back teeth! Also the gums were about three inches tall and they went way up beyond what I had room in my mouth for. I used to wear the instant smile teeth before I had my dentures made and they looked a lot better than what my dentures did. Affordable dentures is a joke. I saw some dentures in the Halloween store that looked a lot better than mine.

Went to have bottom plate replaced, and this office really screwed the job up. Took sloppy impressions, the new teeth didn't fit at all, and the "Tech" blamed my UPPER plate as the reason the new lowers didn't fit, and if I would just agree to have my upper plate done as well, she promised me that she would make a new lower plate that fits the new upper plate. 495.00 later, and a FULL SET of economy Dentures that DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE to fitting correctly, I was advised that I'd need to make another appointment (a week later), and she would "RE-LINE" my brand new upper plate, so it fits correctly, and stays in place without adhesives.
The so called "Tech" actually ground a hole into my new upper plate in an attempt to "Make it fit". After 2 weeks of not having even partially usable Dentures, excuses and lies are what I've been given for my money, not the "BEAUTIFUL NEW SMILE" I was promised. I'm on s.s.i., get 733.00 from the government. 3/4 of my MONTHLY INCOME has been spent at "Affordable Dentures" in 2 1/2 weeks, and I have absolutely nothing to show for my trust, but poorly made dentures that don't fit, and the same promise to reline my new Dentures. I've worn upper and lower Dentures for over ten years, so the excuse that my mouth shrank up in a matter of 5 hours doesn't make sense, when the impressions were taken that same morning at 8:30 am. I feel as if I've been ripped completely off, and plan to speak with a lawyer about this issue.

About 2 weeks ago, I went to see Dr. M. ** at affordable dentures. Dr. ** explained what I needed, how it would be done, what to expect. I have a top denture (all of my top teeth pulled) and a bottom partial, and the experience with the Dr. and the whole staff was AMAZING. AND IT WAS VIRTUALLY PAINLESS! Since that day, if I call with a question, they don't hesitate to help. After the swelling in my gums went down, I needed an adjustment on my partial and denture. They had me in within 24 hours of my call. I WILL recommend Dr. ** and his staff to anyone considering dentures and it truly is affordable!

I first went to Affordable Dentures in 2009. I had my teeth pulled in a hospital, as most of them were surgical extractions. Because of the deep roots, I had not much gum tissue left, and I acknowledge that my dentures were difficult to work on. Paid for the premium package, got the temporary ones to put in after surgery. They looked OK at first, but in a couple of days my gums swelled up so much I could not get them in.
I went to the office when the swelling started going down because they would not stay in and I could not eat with them at all. The tech put a ton of glue on them and said bite down. When I opened my mouth again, they fell right out. I was grinding up all my food for over a year. I didn't wear the lowers, as they looked awful and were bigger than the uppers. Kept telling them they looked awful but they disagreed with me, though anyone who knew me said, don't wear those! They tried making more for me but just could not get it right. I went back after a year and 3 months for the "permanent" teeth. After much pleading and explaining my problems, they finally made a set of teeth I could wear, though I had to glue in the lowers.
After 6-1/2 years, they were digging into my gums so much that I was in constant pain. I figured I needed relines, so I went back and paid $360 for the relines, but they were still digging into the gums, and had a bunch of plastic lumps on the outside which I had to file off. Went back and almost had to grab them and force them to listen to me explain the problem I was having. The second reline just dug in a little lower and I was soon in just as much pain. I finally decided that they were incapable of doing this right.
After 6 months, a tooth broke off the top. I called them and she tells me, "oh, these teeth only last 5 to 7 years anyway, you probably need new ones." So I went in and asked them why they let me pay for relines on expired teeth. Then it's "oh no, some of our customers have teeth that last 10 years. Maybe you're not taking care of them." Not true. I said that if they would refund my $360 for the relines, I would pay for new teeth. They said their warranty was only for 3 months and would not refund anything. I was NEVER told, in all the years I've been going there, that the teeth were only good for 5 years or so. Now I have to find another place to make me new teeth and I don't trust any of them. Looking for someone more expensive. The best thing I can say about Affordable Dentures is that they're affordable.

My experience is with the Affordable Dentures - Dr **. 5301 Main Street, Suite 111, Del City, OK 73115. STAY AWAY FROM THERE IF YOU WANT PRETTY TEETH THAT FIT PROPERLY!!! I still have my own bottom teeth so I only needed a top denture. I chose their top of the line package, Ultra Dentures, because I wanted to have the most natural looking teeth available. The fee is $815 for Ultra full upper denture. This is what they advertise for the Ultra package, "The Ultra Denture is made using three-layered, high-density, "portrait quality" denture teeth, which provide the highest natural appearance. Our Ultra Denture also offers the highest level of durability and stain resistance, and we use a leading acrylic gum base for strength, durability and visual appeal. As with the Premium Denture, a try-in preview allows you to see your new smile before it is custom finished."
They pulled 11 top teeth. The fee for routine extraction with New Denture Wearer Package is $50 per tooth or $90 per tooth for a complex extraction. I had 2 complex, so 9 teeth @ $50 plus 2 teeth @ $90 = $630 for extractions. I have worn the temporary denture for one year. **, the assistant, said I could design my own permanent denture. She told me to "pick a photo from a magazine" to show them what I wanted. I did that. I took 3 similar photos & explained exactly what I wanted.
When I returned for the 1st wax try in I saw the teeth they used were way too big for my mouth. I looked like I had horse teeth. It was an awful feeling to think I wouldn't have that perfect smile that I've always wanted & that I had paid for. The receptionist, **, walked by & when she looked at them she said, "Well, you can always tell people you had Botox done." That's how much the denture changed the look of my face. The staff lied to me (about choosing my own look - the denture did not look like any pictures I showed them). The dentist laughed at me when I was trying to explain why I didn't like the look. He said he didn't understand what I was saying. That's because he kept interrupting me before I could complete a sentence. I didn't think there was anything funny about it at all!!
I refused to wear them out of the office that day. I asked them to make another set with smaller teeth. When I returned for the wax try in of the 2nd set, it wasn't any better. They made 2-3 adjustments since the lab in on-site. The jaw teeth did fit better after the adjustments but the front teeth still looked very wrong. I let them know I wasn't comfortable with them. Two of the staff members ridiculed me saying they thought I just don't like change. I was very upset at their unprofessional behavior. ** convinced me to wear them for a while to get used to them. I wore them home. And as the dentist suggested, I looked in the mirror & talked to myself trying to get used to them. My family agreed with me, they did not fit or look good.
Just a couple hours after I left the dentist office, I called & asked ** if I could return them for a partial refund. Because they couldn't make a permanent denture to my satisfaction, I ended up keeping the temporary denture which is basically their Economy (cheapest denture they offer - $275 for full upper denture). ** said I would be responsible for a $75 lab fee. I agreed that was fair.
Since I didn't keep the Ultra Denture package they raised the fee for the extractions from $50 per tooth to $90 and the complex extractions changed from $90 per tooth to $145 per tooth. That makes no sense to me since I'm still a New Denture Wearer. If I had known they couldn't satisfactorily make the Ultra denture I would have simply paid $275 for the Economy denture & had my extractions done at a dentist who accepts my insurance. The routine extractions, after insurance, would have cost me $45 per tooth. The difference for the extractions went from $630 (that I originally paid) to $1100...same service, nothing changed. They gave me a refund of $200. I believe they owe me another $470 for the price change of the extractions. I discussed this in the office at the time of the refund. I also contacted corporate of Affordable Dentures. They told me it is up to each individual dentist to make their office policy.

But when he had the perm. made they are far from comfortable. They did not fit at all. They said, "Just give it some time, they will be okay." Went back now they tell him "It is your gums." They cannot do anything. Why do the first temp. fit but not the perm.? They just do not want to lose any money to make the customer happy. We just want to have teeth that look good, feel good, so he can eat! I would never tell anyone to go there. VERY UPSET, NOT A HAPPY customer at all.

The staff at the Affordable Dentures location in Mesquite are very friendly and sweet and Dr. ** is wonderful. That being said, I would not recommend them. After pulling all of my top teeth, I was given a temporary set of dentures to wear for a year, giving my gums time to shrink so I could be fitted for my permanent set. The temporaries were okay but the teeth pointed inward. A partial piece of tooth was left exposed in my gums that had to be removed when I went back for my permanent.
My second pair is awful. The gum portion is smaller and fits better but the teeth are awful. They were not set properly so they are off center and they are huge so I cannot close my mouth when I wear them. When I expressed this concern during my fitting, I was told I would just have to get used to them. Now I'm left having wasted money on two sets of dentures that basically worthless. I wear my temporary set in public when I'm forced to but cannot eat comfortably with either pair, even with denture adhesive.

I cannot eat. They flip out of my mouth even with mashed potatoes, which is what is suggested to begin eating. I now have no bottom teeth. I have to find another dentist to make a new plate, but Affordable Dentures did give me a full refund and a pre-printed, triplicate, color-coded release form. I haven't seen pre-printed, carbon form like that in years. They apparently have many dissatisfied customer. It is my personal opinion that if you need dentures, run - don't walk away from the office in Las Vegas.

To make a long, long story short... do not go to this place! The girl that made my dentures is very sweet and very good at what she does. She made them look exactly the way I wanted! Dentist told me to come back as many times as I needed to if I have any sore spots and let me tell you... there was only 2 sore spots, but the nurses that tried to grind the places in my lower denture that made the sore spots... and totally screwed them up! Then I asked her to make the part that's in the middle of my top denture where the little slit is.. just a tad longer, because my blisters there was so bad. She drilled way too big. After that... THEY DIDN'T SUCTION ANYMORE! Also.. after "fixing" the spots in my lower... they were so messed up, now my bite is off and I get migraines from it.
The dentist informed me that my dentures were dropped when they were the wax try in. Well.. I know it was him that dropped them, coz the girl that made them and the nurses knew nothing about it. They had to remake the bottom and now top and lower are horrible!!!! Every time I wear them, I can't keep them in coz they are so huge for my mouth and it forces air down my throat which is causing digestive problems for me now. Medicaid will only pay for new ones in 5 years I think... it's only been 1 year. I went back at least 7 times to get the sore spots fixed.. they just kept messing them up more and started to get very rude.

I took a 76 years old neighbor to have a consultation with the dentist about his options for a lower denture. The receptionists were rude to him. They kept trying to get him to sign paperwork that said "signature optional". He clearly explained that he wanted a consultation with the dentist and they refused unless he had an X-ray. All he wanted was to find out about a lower denture and how long you should wait to have it made after teeth were pulled. They doubled the price of the consultation and absolutely refused to let him see the dentist without an X-ray. He won't be going back and will have dentures made elsewhere.

I called for an appointment to have dentures adjusted because my mouth was sore to the point that I could barely talk and could not eat. The receptionist told me I had to wait for a week. I told them I couldn't wait that long because I was in so much pain. She told me to just keep them out. I informed them again that I am a teacher and I can't just keep them out. When I did get to see the Dentist, Dr. **, she told me the pain was all in my mind. I was terribly offended because I know when something is hurting me. They can be very rude in this location (Stockbridge). I must say that one assistant, I think her name is Genesis (not sure) did really try to work with me. I am still unable to eat certain foods because of the pain. I am going to call back tomorrow to try and get another appointment to try and correct this issue.
I will not recommend Affordable Denture to anyone. I detest the way that I was spoken to. So far I've had to take off 2 days to go back to the office. They tell you the only time they can make adjustments is 9-11. Had I known this, I would have never gone there. Most people are at work at that time. This place is awful. Needless to say, I must try and get in because I still can't eat. Do I want to? No, I don't have a choice.
