I went to AD in Myrtle Beach. They lie to you and take your money. I got dentures in Columbus, OH and need new O-rings for my bottom. I went in and they said they could do it and would order them. They charged my card twice and did get back the extra charge. Now they are saying that they are not responsible to replace them. The Dr. told me they would order them right away. What a shame.

Went to Affordable Dentures earlier this year, to have a broken lower bottom tooth removed. The dentist also removed other bottom teeth, and wanted to make a partial for the bottom, and a new one for the top. I had a mandibular tori, which almost met in the middle that also needed to be removed. I explained that I didn't think a partial was the best idea, as a previous dentist had told me that the tooth he was hooking the partial to also needed to be removed. He told me the tooth was fine. He proceeded to take pics as he removed the mandibular tori, to show his colleagues, which took months to heal, and he kept suturing the bottom of my tongue to the bottom of my mouth, causing sutures to tear. A couple of months later the partial denture and the top denture became very painful, and it was past the adjustment time.

I then saw another dentist and they are to remove the teeth that hold the partial in and a couple more next month. This will leave me with 4 bottom teeth for 10 years, until my insurance will pay for another set. I did call the Affordable Dentures customer service line and explained the situation. They assured me they'd look into your and get back to me. I've heard nothing to date, 2 months later. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. I wish 0 stars was an option.

The wait time is unbearable. After having teeth extracted staff doesn’t check to see how are you doing, just hand a bag of gauze and written extremely vague instructions. Basically telling the patient to get out of the chair and to gone back at 2pm of which one had to wait another 3-4 hours while bleeding. Then dentures are literally shoved in your mouth of which you as the patient are in more pain. I should have gone to Aspen Dental. With that said the dentures cause pain and really are not a great fit even though the teeth look great.

Wish I did not have to even give a star. Went for a simple realign, dentist messed up the top and bottom, they cause an overbite, I could actually put my finger between my top and bottom teeth. Worst part, they did not want to fix it for ten days. So I asked for refund, they only wanted to give me a partial refund because they said the bottom was fine, it was was not, the bottom denture dug into the lingual to the point it was bleeding. So next it will be credit card company, if that fails it will be picketing the site and going to small claims.

I can honestly say that what Andel **, practitioner at Affordable Dentures & Implants the one who ripped every tooth out of my face with only novacaine, put me on a brutal, unconscionable, 24 hour a day 7 days a week, now @ three years and counting. I complained to corporate at Affordable Dentures and implants and he was supposed to REPLACE everything he did. And make it right. He did not. He took my old, used, improperly constructed denture and snap in implant and reworked them, giving me more pain and torture. And this was after he yelled at me for contacting corporate and complaining. Because he refused to fix all of the horrible problems, telling me to get used to them.

I now know that I was his first victim after getting out of school. If he had an ounce of decency he would have admitted his horrible wrongdoing and made it right. Corporate obviously does not care whom they sell to, as long as they get there cut. The only decent thing that I can do is file a formal complaint and report his office with his other practitioners and hope that someone is spared the expense and the lifelong agony that I am going through.

The Florida department of Health is my next step, but that will not take the pain away nor will it replace the damage that he and his staff did to me. I find it strange how there are no reviews from 2022 and 2023 when he started his practice with Affordable dentures and implants. I know I refused to because I knew what he did was so wrong. Again, he was supposed to replace all of the hardware in my mouth and did not. I went back in September again and he did a little adjustment, charged me almost 300$ and I called as soon as I got home and said it was not right, they said oh well it must be such and such that will be 320$ more. They could get me in the next day. My bottom implant BROKE two weeks later.

PRICE IN WRITING NOT HONORED...NO customer service or desire to keep business!!! The "manager"/Safia ** needs customer service training bad!!..Took my 88 yr old handicap mom for consultation 8/6/25. Received a quote (see photo). Mom called a couple times with additional questions and finally scheduled appt for 10/30/25 to begin the process of getting upper dentures.

Long story short, the quote Safia ** gave us with a 15% discount was eventually a "corporate discount" that expired the end of Sept. NOWHERE on this quote does it state any expiration date. She said she told us verbally, she did not! After trying to see if they would honor the discount (as it is only one month past their so called expiration date) she said and I quote "we can do it or not" and let us leave. Being in the business world, there are many times I would love to say that but would lose my job if I ever said that to a customer. If they were truly about their customers she could have made this right, or offered something in a way of a discount. No offer of ANY kind was offered. $300 is nothing to them but to an 88 yr old with limited income, it's A Lot!!..We left and will never return.

I lost a tooth due to periodontal disease I didn't know I had. I went here to get an implant. The dentist informed me that I had it and would eventually lose all my teeth and talked me into letting him pull all my teeth. It took 2 hours to pull all my teeth because I still had some very strong good teeth. I'm 2 weeks post op and have been by there 3 times already because the dentures are too big for me. The bite is off and he knew it the first time they put the immediate dentures in. He said one or the other would have to be redone. He took the top denture back and shaved some off. They're rubbing, they give me headaches and they're gagging me. I have chewed up my lip and the side of my gum from the bite being off. They put this realignment stuff in and while it's soft it doesn't help with the fit. The dentures make me look like a monkey and I have big spots in my mouth from the uncomfortable fit.

I was literally in the chair crying during the post op appointment and they lied to me and said the teeth weren't making my lips bulge out. This is the absolute worst mistake I have ever made in my life. They take your money and then don't care after the fact of what your self esteem is or the fact that you can't eat. I've lost so much weight from not being able to eat anything but basically liquid for 2 weeks. I am going to try again this week to get them to fix these teeth. If they don't I am going to pursue it legally. I paid over $5k to sit and cry every single day because these dentures are horrible. I'm going to try to see if my credit card company can fight at least half of the cost. I don't want to rip them off for pulling my teeth but I am taking my X-rays to another dentist and this man better hope he wasn't lying to me about needing to get all of my teeth pulled.

February 2024, approximately $5,000 CASH (wrote a check-actually two-checks, one for one visit then a few weeks later another for that visit= 5,000--Feeling hopeful. Had 4-5 teeth pulled, bone grafting done, leaving me with a temporary partial until 6 months down to August 2025. Went in for my initial impression 8-20-2025, then called a few days later for them to ask me to come back in on 8-28-2025 for them to do a "digital scan for my upper and lower "partials." So, I obliged. It is now October 21st, 2025 and after several calls to local office, corporate office, still no phone call back to when I will be able to come in to get an initial fitting for my permanent partials. If and when they ever come in, I will have to be as positive as possible about the whole experience due to staff telling me "you need to be more positive."

After over 5 years of dealing with missing teeth, failed implants, etc, from another dentist/surgeon, I chose Affordable Dentures and Implants as my last hope, and drained 5,000 from savings to make it happen. I am no longer hopeful, but more incredibly disappointed in the poor service I have received as a patient. I'm embracing and acknowledging my disappointment as the old adage states, "Everything happens for a reason." As of today, I will continue to practice gratitude and remain as optimistic as possible. The staff was friendly. They made me a new set of dentures in August of 2024, top and bottom. They used my old dentures, which were 10 years old and no good because the old O-rings in the bottom denture were not available anymore and had worn out. The bottom plate is a snap-in denture and does not fit right now. They hurt all the time. I have been back many times, but they still hurt. Both of the plates they made are twice as big as the original ones, so I bite my lower lip and cheeks all the time. After a couple of hours, I have to take them out. I'd be better off having the mini implants unscrewed and just buying a new set of dentures. If they had not used my old dentures, they might have worked all right. On 08/01/2024 -$1500.00 down and on 08/19/ $1430.00= $2930.00 total.

If I pay for it myself, I would not be reimbursed. Affordable Dentures employees lied to me about their policies. I found a reputable dental service that does deal with federal agency grants. They seemed great, and maybe they are most of the time. At my initial consultation, they did not prescribe me the antibiotics or steroids I was apparently supposed to take the morning of my procedure (multiple implants), nor did they provide the literature they were apparently supposed to give me telling me to take them the day of the procedure. The day of my procedure, they said they were prescribing three different pain killers, the steroids and the antibiotics I was supposed to have already been prescribed. The pharmacy again did not get a prescription for the antibiotics. Since it was 5:15 pm when I realized this, we called and left a voicemail on the after hours line. They never called back.

The prescription for the antibiotics finally went in the next day but since I was on pain killers and couldn't drive, I didn't get them until the following day. Turns out that even though I talked the dentist through my medical history at length - including that I was immunocompromised (they also had my med list showing this), and had a history of infection and sepsis, he still prescribed a strong steroid. In hindsight, I should have looked more into the steroid since I had never been on it before, but I trusted them not to prescribe me something that would make an immunocompromised person even more immunocompromised without telling me.

I've been in the ER twice since the procedure two weeks ago, and still am fighting an antibiotic-resistant infection and a separate skin infection that was caused by the steroid. If the infection isn't improving by tomorrow, I'll be admitted to inpatient care until it is, meaning I miss even more work after already having 10 days of not being paid. On top of this, they gave me the post-procedure directions for the wrong procedure and only one of the pages of directions for the correct procedure.

At this point, I likely won't be going back to even get the bridge and crown that's supposed to be going into the implants. I'd rather be missing four teeth than risk getting another infection. This is all after a two-hour wait for my consultation appointment. I was fine with it at the time; they were unexpectedly short-staffed, and things happen. But they never once said anything to me in the waiting room, saying they were behind, and clearly they rushed through the appointment, if they didn't even talk about me taking medications for the procedure or send them in.

This place is a butcher's shop! They botched a tooth extraction on me and denied me pain medication because the dentist wasn't authorized to do so. Some months later, a qualified dentist found that they had only removed part of the tooth in question. This required me to have another operation to correct their amateurish procedure. If I were to do it over, I would hire a lawyer and seek damages. Please stay away from these butchers!

Update 8-16-2025: Since I posted this review, I have just received an invoice for $455.00 with no explanation of the charges. Keep in mind my procedure was over a year ago! LOL. The feedback hurt their feelings, so I will file a complaint with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) along with the Texas Medical Board for issues related to the physician. Affordable Dentures & Implants has been the subject of multiple lawsuits. These lawsuits allege issues such as unlicensed dental work, negligence, and poor-quality dentures. Some patients have reported receiving substandard care, experiencing discomfort, and even incurring financial losses due to these issues.

If you're considering getting implants from Affordable Dentures in Clearwater with Dr. **, I advise you to avoid Place. Their focus is purely on making money, and my experience reflects that. I spent over $40,000, and it has been three years since the procedure. Unfortunately, I faced some of the worst customer service imaginable. What I received was far from what I expected. My implants resemble "false teeth that are bolted to the roof of my mouth". They are only 1/8 inch thick, making it impossible for me to chew meat or even enjoy a sandwich. I've lost most of my sense of taste, and chewing has become a significant challenge.

When I raised my concerns with Affordable Dentures, they insisted that they had never had this problem with anyone. However, what was presented to me and what I received were completely different. Correcting teeth can be beneficial. I have reservations about the practices at Affordable Dentures. They are great until they receive your payment, but after that, the service goes downhill. They do not offer any follow-up check-ups; once they have your money, they are finished with you. Make sure you are clear about what you are getting. Affordable Dentures are nothing more than a rip-off. I have had to find another dentist to correct the problem and spend another $20,000.

They're putting Dental Lab Technicians to attend patients. THAT'S COMPLETELY ILLEGAL...! Can dental technicians see patients? In most cases, no, dental lab technicians are not legally allowed to see and attend to patients directly. Here's why: Practicing Dentistry: In most states, only licensed dentists can perform procedures in the mouth and take responsibility for patient care. Working directly with patients would be considered the unlicensed practice of dentistry. Focus of the Role: Dental lab technicians primarily work behind the scenes, using impressions and prescriptions from dentists to create appliances like crowns, dentures, and bridges. Their expertise lies in the fabrication of these items, not direct patient care.

Limited Patient Contact: While they work closely with dentists, their contact with patients is generally very limited. Exceptions (Rare): Shade Matching: Some states allow patients to visit a dental lab for shade matching purposes. Denturists: A few states license denturists, who are trained to make dentures and may have a limited scope of practice with patients, usually after completing specific education and licensure exams, according to the National Association of Dental Laboratories. Key takeaway: The general rule is that direct patient care is reserved for licensed dentists, and dental lab technicians operate as a crucial part of the dental team by fabricating the necessary appliances based on the dentist's instructions.
