Going to Sit 'n Sleep was a good experience. Jesse and Philip had a lot of knowledge on serving me what I needed to get done. They directed me on the mattress that fit me one hundred percent.. Great customer service and very knowledgeable all the way down to the delivery service.

Our minds were made up after sleeping on the Helix mattress in a AirbNB a few months ago. We walked into the Sit N Sleep in Moreno Valley and was greeted by Manager Javier **. We were treated with patience and amazing knowledge of the Midnight Luxe mattress. We were given great details of our purchase. We plan to start our journey of great nights of sleep. We are 70 years old and this purchase is an investment, very well spent.

Very happy with my new mattress. Having a large selection of different options was great. Was able to get my mattress delivered with little to no fuss. Very happy with my King Koil mattress! The deliverymen came and took my old bed away before setting up the new one. They were very quick and polite.

Working with Clete made our purchase so easy but extra kudos to the fantastic follow up team. I was contacted to confirm my purchase that was to be delivered the next day and told that someone would call with a delivery window that evening which they did. The morning of my delivery I received a call that they were finishing up a delivery and I would be next. The delivery was quick and efficient. I then received a follow up call asking how my delivery went. Thank you for the best customer service I have experienced in a long while.

Excellent service. The installers were very nice. Removed our old bed which was heavy and cumbersome. No problem. Setup new bed. All said and done in about 30 minutes. Excellent! I would recommend Sit 'n Sleep to anyone without hesitation.

The delivery men Homer and his partner were excellent. They set up my new bed where I wanted it and removed my old bed without disturbing anything in my home. Before they arrived, I was worried that they might accidentally bump into a breakable item in my home on the way to the bedroom. I had no worries after they arrived. I was impressed that they arrived on time within the window they had given me.

We were greeted by Chris at the Costa Mesa location on Newport BLVD. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I truly recommend this store, location and Chris. We ended up purchasing two amazing beds, we have never slept so well.

Sit n Sleep sold me a bed that I was told was discounted because they were overstock & trying to get rid of them to bring in newer models. When I got the mattress, it was obvious it was an exchange; it was wrapped in plastic that was taped up like a kindergartner did it. I was told it had to be new because it came in a box.
I was also told it’s against the law to sell an exchanged mattress without a yellow tag telling you that’s what it is. Once I moved it to the bedroom under better lighting, I could see stains on the bed. I called Sit n Sleep back and spoke to someone else who told me that yes, it was an exchange, that anytime a mattress is sold for even a dollar off, it’s an exchange. So I was lied to by the delivery drivers and the store manager. It was another floor associate who told me the truth. I’m furious and expect a replacement with a new mattress at no additional cost, or I’ll be contacting an attorney.

Bought a Stearns and Foster mattress. I had one before and it was great! This one lasted about 6 months. BIG sag. The warranty adjuster came out and said it was with in specs(?) after measuring with a standard measuring tape? I got a good mattress from another store and it is still good after many years. Buyer beware!! No help from S and S!!

I purchased a King Koil mattress from Sit 'n Sleep in January. It is now sagging on both sides and has a large lump in the middle. I was told by Sit n Sleep it was not damaged enough. The manufacturer told Sit n Sleep handles their warranty. I have to sleep on my recliner because the mattress is to uncomfortable. And I have a bad back. Guess I am out of 3800 dollars.

Today at Pasadena store I requested to exchange my two mattress bases. The Assistant Manager said he cannot help me at the store level and told me to call the customer service, or come again several days later when the manager is here. I stayed at the store and called the customer service number that he gave me. Customer services representative asked me which store I purchased it and I told him it was Pasadena. He then put my call on hold and called Pasadena store. The Pasadena store manager heard the phone rang, picked it up and IMMEDIATELY hanged up.
I continued staying in the store and called the customer service number again. In the middle of my conversation with the customer services, the Assistant Manager without my consensus hijacked my call by grabbing my phone, talked to the customer rep. and told him to dismiss my request. I was totally SHOCKED! I don't deserved to be mistreated.
It was not about whether the request was approved or not, but the way they treating and handling customers. I requested to exchange the bases but not the mattresses and ended up the customer service INFORMED me they were cancelling my whole order (2 mattress and 2 bases which have been delivered and worth $8000+) and scheduling a pick up. Ridiculous!

I have been told my body is the problem, not the most expensive mattress in the class I requested. I tried to return it several times before the trial period was over. The sleazy salesperson told me I was wrong, not breaking in the mattress right etc. I passed the trial period. They refuse to let me return this mattress even though I believed the salesperson that said it was me...not the mattress. Don't ever shop here! Sleepy people who lie about what they tell you about anything. I'll never shop here again!!!

Very disappointing. This company is scamming people! They never mention anything about non- returnable policy of their mattresses!!! If fact their salesperson, Ken said that they except returns within 30 days, if still sealed in a plastic bag. None of their managers want to be responsible or work with the customers. Talk in a diminishing and sarcastic tone while pointing out how could I not know all mattresses sales are nonrefundable!!! The mattress is also very cheap quality. Disgusting company. I have no idea how they are still around.

KAT (KATHLEEN **) IS VERY UNETHICAL, USES SHADY TACTICS TO MAKE HER COMMISSIONS, AND DOES NOT FULLY DISCLOSE INFORMATION. She omitted information from me. On 5-22-22 I purchased a TEMPUR-PEDIC adjustable mattress, $6,526.61. I informed Kat I had low back pain and need a firm mattress. She showed me 4 mattresses. I reiterated; I need a firm mattress (even their testing machine confirmed I need a firm mattress). Kat said, it's a firm mattress and the one I would receive will be even firmer. Kat said, if I am not comfortable with the mattress I can return it, the re-stock fee is $250.
I had the mattress for 5 days. Since day one it did not feel right for me. The mattress is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, I sink, the adjustable bed includes a massager -- it's noisy, and when I adjust the mattress, it has a mind of its own: it self adjusts after I adjusted it and set the remote control aside. $6,526.61 for poor quality!! Day 5 I decided I need to exchange it for a firm mattress. I called Kat and left a message. Kat did not return my call. On 5/30/22 I went to the store to meet with Kat. While Kat was helping an other customer, I explored and tested other mattresses. I noticed there were tags: Red for firm, Blue medium firm, and green soft. Kat sold me a BLUE TAG mattress/medium firm, when it should have been a RED firm tag. She sold me what she felt was the firmest Tempur-Pedic (Price is not an issue if it's worth it to me and the product is effective).
Kat approached me when she was finished with the other customer. I explained that I need a firmer mattress. Kat interrupted me and said, "You must keep the mattress for 30 days before you can return it for a credit and use the credit for equal or greater value of your purchase. We do not refund. All sales are final". I was in shock. I told her, "You never told me this and never gave me supporting documentation of the terms and conditions." Kat lied to me, just to make her commission. I asked her for the agreement. Kat said she didn't have it; she would have customer service email it to me.
On 05/31/22 I called and left customer service messages, faxed, emailed, and texted. I spoke to a customer service rep: Nakeshia **, she told me once the mattress is delivered all sales are final. Kat purposely did not give me the agreement. Had she of given me the agreement I would have read it and NEVER agreed to it. WHAT A RIP OFF and CHEAP salesmanship. A manager was suppose to call me and never did. At this point I just want my refund and for the mattress to be picked up. I have no problem paying the re-stock fee, since she made me aware of that on the day of sale. I financed the mattress, I signed those doc. She gave me paperwork on the financing, but omitted both verbal and written information that all sales are final/no refunds.
The 30 day trail is "IF" I want to exchange it for a different mattress, so legally I am not bind to anything. I don't want to exchange it. I want my money back less the re-stock fee. I WAS NEVER GIVEN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. KAT IS A LIAR, CHEATER, AND THIEF. I tried to email Larry ** and contact him: the information he has posted online is inaccurate. You can not get a hold of him. I want to speak with someone that has the AUTHORITY to make things right for me. If not KAT has placed me in a position, where I have to pursue stronger measures in order to correct and make this sale right. I am a PT. I have great influence in California. I can make it known to all patients and spread the word to not buy from Sit 'N Sleep. I am very disappointed and disgusted. Sit 'n Sleep you need to know that Kat uses SHADY SALES TACTICS to make her commissions and cause DAMAGE TO YOUR BRAND AND REPUTATION. I am hoping to hear from a fair and ethical manager soon.

Beyond disappointed that Sit 'n Sleep does not actually allow you to 'return' a mattress for a refund. They only let you 'exchange' it for a 20% restocking fee. That means I have to pay them 20% and ALSO buy a new mattress from them. I feel totally held hostage by this policy as they do not carry the mattress that I now want. They need to rename their return policy to 'exchange policy'... or maybe go with something like the "Rest Assured Promise" as the Mattress Firm does rather than imply the returns for a refund are possible.
They say they will beat anyone's advertised price, or my mattress is FREE. This is also ** as the contract with suppliers to rebrand the mattresses for their stores only. Try finding a Sealy "Malibu Palms, Carmel Creek, Estero or Bixby" or a Beautyrest "Mandevile, Cruz Bay, or Cocoa Beach" at any other mattress store. You can't! If they really want to beat anyone's advertised price, they should also include anyone's return policy and count Costco as a competitor. You can always return mattresses at Costco for a full refund. You are better off taking your chances on a Costco mattress. You'll sleep better knowing that Costco has your back!

This review focuses on Sit N Sleep's online shopping experience and says nothing of their product quality. In short, Sit N Sleep maintains a poor, confusing, and bordering on dishonest, online shopping experience. Many mattress and furniture businesses have scaled their digital buying experience so that shoppers can receive an estimated delivery date at some point in their shopping session. For example, when buying a bed at Costco, you are given an estimated delivery date by the end of checkout. If a particular product is not in stock or backlogged, the shopper is made aware of it and prevented from adding the item to their shopping cart in the first place. Simple and intuitive, right?
This is not the case with Sit N Sleep. On Sit N Sleep's website, the shopper can outright purchase items that are out of stock. To make matters worse, the shopper is not made aware of this at any point within their shopping session. The shopper only finds out about this small but significant detail AFTER THEY HAVE COMPLETED THEIR PURCHASE. Several hours after the purchase has been finalized, Sit N Sleep will shoot out an email informing the buyer that so and so product is unavailable and when it is expected to be restocked (usually a few weeks out). The buyer is allowed to adjust / exchange their purchase but must reach out to a salesperson by phone / web in order to do so.
Purchasing a mattress is not a small, inconsequential decision. There is generally a lot of thought that gets invested into the purchase. I personally like performing a certain amount of due diligence, poring over user reviews, and consulting with friends and family, before deciding. It is certainly not a good feeling to have gone through this personal shopping ritual, to go as far as making the purchase, then be slammed with "whoops... we don't have this thing that we sold to you..." @ Sit N Sleep. It is a simple fix. Just bake in the delay times and backlogged item status to your online sales system, similar to how the other big-brand retailers (Costco, Amazon, Best Buy, every big-brand retailer but Sit N Sleep) are doing it.

The installers left a mess of the house with box material all over the floors. Additionally, the bunkie boards we ordered did not fit the bead frame! When I tried to return them, I was told that I would not receive a full refund. They will charge a 20% restocking fee even if you never used their product! They didn't respond to any of my emails about this issue. I'll never do business with Sit 'n Sleep again, and I strongly advise all other buyers to be wary of purchasing from this company.

Customer service good, different option. It's great but I will say the pricing are somewhat high. But everything else it's okay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants variety opinions.

I purchased a box spring and mattress in 2017 for my son. Recently found out that the bed was sagging and box spring frame was broken. I called my go-to neighborhood Sit 'n Sleep where I've purchased for many years. Unfortunately they no longer deal with Sherwood product (falling out) and they gave me a number to call for the warranty/claims. It's like jumping through hoops, trying to get someone on the phone for Sherwood.
After a week of trying and finally getting someone to email me, they sent an inspector to review the items. I then received an email with approval for new mattress and box spring, but I would need to pay for shipping from Arizona + added removal of old items via mail along with the tags. At this current Covid time, I'm finding myself in a financial hardship with one person working in the home since March of last year. I reached back to Sit n Sleep to speak with a supervisor, but she's been in training and will be for the remaining week. I'm stuck and my son continues to sleep on the floor.
According to our records - this has been taken care of. Guest was given an exchange.

Love my Hybrid Mattress. Very comfortable and fits my body and style, able to sleep comfortably and no more backaches. I also like the protector that I purchase to put over the mattress it feels like silk. Really love it and it was worth all my coins.

Very good experience. They observed Covid protocols by giving us a pellon sheet to place on the beds before laying on them. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase. We weren't planning on a purchase that day, but did so anyway. Delivery was spot on! Arrived and set up right on schedule.

Lisa ** was extremely helpful in assisting us in choosing the right bed and adjustable system for the mattress. She also helped us with pillows. We ended up with the Nectar Lush and it has fallen a little short of our expectations. It was much firmer than we anticipated, so we've purchased a 2" foam topper that has helped. My wife had done some preliminary research and asked to see the Nectar mattress first, perhaps we should have looked into some others. But the staff at the store was excellent and delivery guys were very good as well. Sit'N Sleep got 5 stars, the product got 4.

During Covid, it's impossible to get something like a bed delivered in a reasonable time frame. Sit 'n Sleep helped me place the order online, gave me a discount, and delivered the next day. The bed is amazingly comfortable, and even my husband is pleased (a rare thing). I would give Sit 'n Sleep the highest rating possible.

I was in the market for two twin mattresses. When I walked in I was greeted by Alan, who turned out to be one of the best sales people I’ve ever dealt with. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny and was able to meet and exceed all of my expectations. I have already referred 3 people to Alan because of his amazing work.

When we bought a hybrid mattress, we had a great sales rep and delivery service. But when we first got our mattress, the box spring was too high. Even the delivery guy recommended getting the low-profile ones and to call Sit 'n Sleep back. The delivery people came in and switched them out. It was really easy. The mattress is good and it's comfortable. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to it but I'm fine now.

Beware! Buying process may be nice, but they don't stand by their products. We bought 4 mattresses from them 4 years ago, and one of them broke. Like, an over 3 inch hole appeared not in the fabric, but the springs, etc. of the mattress. Contacted them and they sent out an "independent" company to verify. They now allege that there is a "stain" on the mattress that voids the warranty -- despite the fact that it has spent the last four years wrapped in the zippered waterproof cover we bought from them. They will do nothing except offer a discount on buying another mattress from them. No thank you. I'll buy from someone who stands by their products.

We purchased the memory foam from Sit 'n Sleep. We purchased the base too, the one that goes up and down. We are super happy with everything. The sales rep was really good and helpful. I had an issue with the delivery though. There was a slight hiccup. There was a disagreement between the delivery people about where to put something and they raised their voices with each other so it was a little chaotic.

Everything has been working out okay with our mattress from Sit 'n Sleep. It feels good. It's better than the one we had before. The sales reps were good. However, we had to exchange, ‘cause the one that we had was just too hard. It seemed okay when we tried it in the store. We exchanged it for the same mattress, but with a pillow top. This is working out better. But we had to pay the difference and the stocking fee. I wish we could have gotten a better deal on that.
The delivery was good. The people who came to deliver were all wearing masks. They were really cautious of the mattress when they brought it in, and they were taking care of everything. However, I was trying to price match and there's no way I can find the same name mattress anywhere else. So, that slogan, “We'll beat anybody,” doesn't apply really ‘cause there's no mattress out there you can compare it that’s the same.

I bought Sit 'n Sleep a few years ago for my son and he loved it, so I bought another for my daughter, and they liked it. My aunt bought one 15 years ago and she was the one who told me about it. It was a really good experience with their sales rep. He knew his stuff. The delivery was good too. But they could have a better price.

I just moved into a new place with my wife and she's pregnant. So I was looking for a better mattress that can make her more comfortable and feel more support during the pregnancy. I felt good about the Sit 'n Sleep mattress and it was comfortable when I tried it at the store. I got a hybrid mattress and it has been good so far. There were three guys who did the delivery and it was okay. But the attitude of one of the guys was not that good. He wanted me to sign the delivery paper and at that time, he just threw the mattress topper on the floor instead of handing it to me directly. I felt bad about that kind of action and at the same time, I noticed that the cover was not something that was necessary to use. So, I returned that instead at the end. But we're satisfied with the quality of the mattress.

Our family has enjoyed the healthy support of our Tempur-pedic memory foam since 2011. Now we have two queens and two reclining twin extra-longs. Mom when she had cancer and Dad now with his stroke benefit from the memory foam radiating mass load from body protrusions eliminating pressure sores. Air mattresses magnify the mass load on body surface contact zones.

I used this base for slightly over a month. On September 19, 2020 it quit working. I’m still waiting for a technician to come to find out what part is needed. October 12 is the soonest they could get someone out, almost a month. Then they will have to bring the part and fix it!

I bought a new mattress, bed frame, side table, linens and pillows. The salesperson was very respectful of my wishes and helped me find the perfect mattress. I also bought a very attractive bed frame with an attachable side table. I do not like to spend a long time shopping and the whole process was very smooth. My order was delivered the next day. It is the most comfortable bed I have ever owned.

I was amazed at how clean the store was. Michael, who help me, wore a mask, gave me a cloth sheet to use when trying mattresses. He never touched it again, I moved it when I tried different mattresses, and he said me to pick it up and take it with me. I told Michael what I was looking for, he did not try to up sale me.

I had shopped for mattresses before and finally decided to make the leap. The woman helping me knew exactly which mattress I came back to find based on my description. I tried it, knew it was the one I remembered, and bought it. I was in and out quickly, my mattress was delivered and set up quickly and I'm now thoroughly enjoying the good night's rest on this thing. I've become a morning person now. The second I lay down and turn off the light, I fall asleep. I get a full 8 hours rest and I wake up refreshed instead of in pain and still tired. This was a great experience, this is a great mattress, and I'm incredibly grateful to you guys for providing this experience.

Bought a mattress a year ago and it hard as a rock, I thought support was the way to go. I went back to Sit 'n Sleep and they said I had a 365 day exchange policy. The delivery crew has come 3x now and won't do the exchange. Also they don't wear masks, gloves, speak English, and their hands were all dirty. I inspected the mattress before they came (I also use 2 mattress protectors). They took my mattress to the truck and brought my new one in then they brought the old one back in and said it was stained and it was damp. Each time they come they find some other reason to not exchange the mattress.
Customer service doesn't care and now I have a mattress that for all I know they did something to it in the truck the 1st time! I would have noticed a damp stain before they came. I'm so upset and now have no mattress I feel comfortable sleeping on. With Covid I'm not even sure I want it in my house now. BEWARE OF EXCHANGE SCAMMM!! I have no idea what they did once it was on the truck! Customer service is rude and dismissive. Now I have to go spend money in this economy for a new one.

We bought an expensive bed, base and linen. We also bought a 10 warranty that is not being accommodated. Sit-n-Sleep uses a company called Servco, we have been in touch with them since early August. Not only did Sit-n-Sleep drop the ball back in late June early July, this company Servco keeps giving me the run-around. I've been scheduled for a service more times than I can count. We haven't even had the bed for a year but by the time services will be rendered my warranty will be up. Today I called Sit-n-Sleep customer service HQ's and because people are working from home, the call kept dropping. They have my number which is attached to my account. They use my number as a point of reference so why can't they call me back? Lesson learned, next time we will buy the base elsewhere like we did the first time we bought a mattress from Sit-n-Sleep. It was much cheaper and we never had an issue, we just passed it on to a relative.

We've been on different mattresses, but we were still sleeping on the same waterbed furniture. When our last one sprung a leak, it was an ordeal getting it drained and getting it taken care of. We realized at our age that we're not physically able to deal with the downside of having a waterbed, which is a catastrophic leak. We travel a lot, so we spend enough time on conventional mattresses that we know we can sleep on one. Nothing beats a waterbed, but we're getting older now. We decided to change back to a conventional mattress and bought one from a local Sit 'n Sleep store. A mattresses is a mattress, is a mattress but the price is good. It was also everything we expected it to be and the fella who helped to us at the store was very professional and took care of us.
The delivery came off just as advertised. We have a two-story house and they took the new mattress upstairs. They also removed the old, empty waterbed mattress, which still weighed a couple hundred pounds because of all the residual water in the baffling. They took that down, disposed of it, and the installation went perfectly. I called the sales rep about two weeks later and let him know that it had all gone off exactly the way he had said it was going to. If I was gonna recommend Sit 'n Sleep to someone else, one of the biggest factors for me is that they kept their word, so I would call them reliable.

Hi! My in-store experience was really good -the salesperson who helped me was very kind and nice. According to your mattress matching technology, I needed one that was in the softer side. I chose one in that range. It was definitely not the best match for me, and unfortunately because it was a floor model, I can not return or exchange it. On 2/28/20 I walked into the Torrance Sit-n-Sleep store and was immediately greeted by RAFAEL **. He asked me a few qualifying questions. Once I answered them he took me to the Sealy Posturpedic area. Rafael was very knowledgeable and was focused on what I wanted not on what he wanted to sell me. Rafael then took me over to a mattress that helps to determine what firmness bed would be best for me. Usually, I hate dealing with salespeople but working with Rafael was a pleasure. I ended buying a Sealy Hybrid Silver Chill 'F' mattress, sheets, and two pillows. And I couldn't be happier. Excellent experience and have already recommended SnS to a number of friends and co-workers.

I bought a mattress at the Lancaster location, and was so impressed by the salesman I shelled out $1250 for a king mattress and frame. Ended up coming back 2 weeks later for a queen in my guest room, dropping another $800. I don’t remember his name sadly, but I know he had moved there from Tennessee if that helps you find him. May not be right but Jim or James or something maybe? Very impressive service, from sales to delivery. I know where to get future mattresses.

You sold me a mattress with a "lifetime" warranty. I specifically asked your store manager, mattress lifetime or my lifetime, he specifically said it was my lifetime. To date, my $5000.00 mattress still needs to be replaced. You sent me a frame support that I didn't need but according to your moron inspector it did, even though you installed it!!! I wouldn't use you again if I had to. I've purchase many mattresses from you and would've bought more, but not now. You don't stand behind your product, which says a lot. If you give a lifetime warranty, then keep it, don't find 900 excuses to not stand behind it.

I use Sit 'n Sleep for my bed and I like my mattress. This time, I needed a mattress for a baby who needed his very first big boy bed. This whole COVID thing happened, so we couldn’t go into the store. I ordered it online, which was very easy. Also, the mattress was supposed to be shipped out at a different date and I contacted them to ask if I could get it a day earlier for his birthday. Richard was so accommodating. I got it on time for the baby's birthday, so I super appreciate that. That gentleman went above and beyond what he had to do and I wrote him this great email.

I do not normally write reviews but wanted to warn others due to our experience. My husband and I were tired of cheap mattresses. We decided to spend some money and get something decent. We spent about $1,000.00 on a new King Koil. We both loved the feel and it came with a 10 year non-prorated warranty. It has now been only 2 years and there are permanent indentations in the mattress despite flipping it periodically. We called and they sent out a person to measure the indentations. After review, they deemed it was normal wear and tear. Mind you, we purchased a very expensive mattress protector (Frio) which has remained on the mattress to this day. We also placed a nice topper on it so there is no way body perspiration could cause a breakdown this quickly.
Let me just say that I am now sleeping on a bed with an indentation or sag that hurts my back and no longer provides the support it had 2 years ago. I called Sit 'n Sleep because no one would call me with the decision about what they'd planned to do after the company they hired came out to inspect. That is when the gal at Sit 'n Sleep told me it was considered normal wear and tear. I asked for a manager and of course there was NO manager there to speak with. I asked if one could call me and she said yes and took my info. But... you guessed it, no one called me back. Therefore I decided to write this review. We will not be returning to Sit 'n Sleep.

I purchased a mattress and what I assumed was a box spring that met the specifications of the mattress. When the products were delivered the mattress was larger, in width than the box spring. I immediately notified the customer service department of Sit and Sleep to let them know of the problem. Even the delivery person told the customer service rep. that he agreed that there was a problem. I heard nothing for at least two weeks and I finally went back to the store to speak to the salesman. After I finally convinced him, by showing the tags on both items, which included their sizes, he called customer service. They said that a new box spring was on its way.
I received the new box spring which was the same size as the original one and did not match the size of the mattress. The delivery person called customer service to let them know that the box spring was smaller than the mattress. It is quite obvious that customer service has no clue or just not care about the customer or the company is selling mismatched products. I now have to make another trip to the store and convince the salesman that they have sent the same size box spring, as they had before and waste my time trying to get this problem resolved. I certainly would not recommend buying any product from Sit and Sleep and I am going to advise anyone who asks to avoid them at all costs.

I went in to make a very simple purchase, a foundation for a mattress. First I was told they could deliver the next day if I let them know by four. I called at 3:45 and was told it would have to wait until two days later (this after being given the runaround by another equally incompetent mattress store). OK, fine, great, we'll spend another night on the floor. I was told that the foundation would arrive between 10:30 and 1:30. At 9:17, two guys are banging on my front door like they were the cops. I let them in and they very hastily set up the frame. I say "hang on a second," with the intention to check the frame and give them a tip. Before I got to the last syllable, they had run out the door.
They did a shabby job setting up the frame. It has legs on each side and in the center. The ones in the center are loose, causing the bed to wobble and be unstable. This is, as you imagine, not ideal for a couple, and less so for one who has a dog that frequently sleeps under the bed. After leaving two messages and not getting any call back, I finally set up an appointment for them to rectify their mistake or bring out a new frame.
OK, first attempt. I was told they'd be there between 12 and 3:30. I said I can only stay until 2. They said they would call me *an hour* before they arrived to make sure I was home. I stayed home until 3:15, putting my whole day behind schedule, and NO CALL. Just before four, I get a 20-minute heads up, supposedly, except there were there within a few minutes. We had to reschedule for the following day. I told them to make it the same time frame or slightly earlier. They made it between 7:30 and 10:30 AM. OK, now I, who work nights until 1 AM, get up early in the morning. They don't show up. At 9:30 I take my wife 10 minutes down the road. They call me and say they can wait 15 minutes. I say I will be there in 10. When I got there, they were gone without a trace.
I spent an hour on the phone getting transferred around and hung up on. They promise a window between 10 AM and 2PM and a call by 12:30. I got no call and a 3PM to 6PM window instead. They transfer you "to a manager" but that just means you wait forever, get put back to the main menu have to re-explain the issues to some other stooge. COLOSSAL WASTE OF TIME AND GROSSLY INCOMPETENT SERVICE. DO NOT USE THEM.

Why I will never buy another mattress from Sit 'n Sleep? It’s not because their salesmen are not polite or their delivery service is not excellent—they are. It’s because their salesmen are not sleep experts as advertised, their management is not responsive to feedback or questions if using their email contact, and they make no exceptions to their one exchange only policy, even when the “expert” (2 of them) got it wrong and gave very bad advice.

Purchased (paid for) 2 mattresses (1 Queen and 1 Cal King) from Sit' n Sleep on 11/09/2019. Delivery date was set for Saturday Dec. 7th but was told we could change to any date (before or after) Dec. 7th. I called on Nov. 19th to request an earlier delivery date (Nov. 26th) and was told that they sold out of the Cal King mattress and wouldn't get more in until around Dec. 16th. We had assumed since we paid in full for both mattresses on Nov 9th that they would be held for us! Not sold out from under us! We are very disappointed. We got the keys to our new house but won't have a bed to sleep in until mid to late December. What a bad business practice Sit 'n Sleep. We've been loyal customers but will likely look elsewhere for future purchases. If I find the Cal King mattress elsewhere, (or one comparable) that I can have delivered sooner, I will buy and cancel this order.

We purchased two Tempur-pedic mattresses in July from the Murietta Sit 'n Sleep store. When we left the store we were very happy with our customer service representative. However, after sleeping on the mattresses we were not happy with them. Also the mattress protectors that we purchased for the mattresses we’re very ill fitting, loose and wrinkly. We contacted our customer service representative. She said that she would work with us to return the mattresses for credit and replace or credit the protectors. We were planning on buying additional mattresses with the store credit. Our original intention was to purchase four mattresses in all. After many phone calls and many weeks, nothing was done to credit the original purchase of the two mattresses or the issue with the mattress protectors. We have purchased the additional mattresses we needed from another store. I would not recommend Sit 'n Sleep to anyone.

I had the worst experience. I felt like I was dealing with a used car dealer. Dealt with a sales rep named Raymond. I went to store. Great selection of mattresses. Found the mattresses I wanted to purchase, sales rep quoted me a price that was several thousand more than I thought was reasonable. I left the store, rep calls me back, lowers the price price by $3,000. I drive back to the store to make the purchase and he tells me he needs to charge me an additional $800 more because he did not include the box spring after on the phone he told me it was included. Experience was horrible. I called back the second day to tell corporate of my experience. Spoke to a nice lady but did not have the ability to help more than promise to have someone call me.

I got a queen-sized basic bed frame from Sit 'n Sleep and I got it delivered. It was fast and they didn’t scrape anything, so that was cool. Everyone was quick, smart and nice. The only downside is that one of the guys had tremendous body odor that got into my carpet but he was good at his job and it was not his fault. The price was good, the delivery was great and there were no complaints. I’ve owned the bed frame for one month and it fit the bed perfectly.

It was an Okay experience. Salespeople didn't provide accurate information. On the other hand they do allow returns which is almost always needed when you are sold a type of a mattress you don't need. They have a nice selection but you always need to be careful about what you see on the floor is not what you get in the way the floor models are more worked in and much softer.

We have a foam mattress and an IKEA bed. The frame to rise was easy to install and we really love it!! I'm not happy with the presets but it is easy to adjust. We have not used vibration yet but will in the future. Customer service was great and so was Installation. The price seems good and it does make watching TV from bed quite nice. I think that is all I have to say about this. It's just a frame.

I’ve had my other bed for 15 years and I needed a new bed. I bought a queen-size from Sit 'n Sleep and they set up the delivery for one day but it was too late in the day so, I couldn’t take it. So, they set it up for the next day and they were right on time. It was four days after I bought it. They set up everything and they were wonderful. The bed is a little better than my old one. The quality is good and I like it. It was a little pricey and I have seen them less at two other places but I’ve always bought my stuff at Sit ‘n Sleep so, I stayed there.

The bed I bought from Sit 'n Sleep is the best bed in the world. It’s a Tempur-Pedic that has the thing that folds up and down. It’s really cool. I have the memory foam and although the bed I had prior was also a memory foam, I get more bed rest now. This one is night and day, and I don’t toss and turn as much. They also sold me a pillow and that helps a ton too. I have back problems so I appreciate whatever helps. In fact, I don’t wanna get out of bed now.
The delivery was quick too. The people came in, unwrapped everything, set everything up, picked up all the trash and took it out. They told me to have a great day and I did. They also showed me how the remote control worked. But they had already shown us at the store and although this guy showed us a little bit more, it was pretty much what I had already seen. I had really gotten a good rundown from the guy at the store. He was great. In fact, I thought I was gonna go in there and just pick the first one I saw at the lowest price but I was sold into buying something that was more than investment. And I feel like it was worth every penny. I thought I was only gonna be there for 20 minutes but we ended up there for two hours. They treated me well and the guy helped us go through and try out different beds. I didn’t think I would take so long buying a bed but it ended up being a great experience.

Everything worked out well with Sit ‘n Sleep and we're happy with everything. We got the mattress that had a pillow top on it and we had a good salesperson. Everything was positive. We even went back and got the bed frame. Our new bed is comfortable, and compared to our bed of 15 years, this new one is nicer.

My Sit 'n Sleep mattress is the gel type and it is good. When it was delivered, the guys were there for five minutes and they helped me bring it into my unit. My experience with them was pretty good. But from time to time, I'd notice that it doesn’t entirely help with my back and shoulder pains. Still, I like it overall and I'll be keeping it. Also, the pillow that came kinda goes flat sometimes and I gotta put two pillows together now to make up for it. But I'd recommend Sit 'n Sleep. It's not really their fault that I wasn’t highly satisfied with the mattress. Also, their customer service was better than many others were. In other stores, the reps were kinda pushy but the Sit 'n Sleep people were very cool to be around with.

I hadn't researched beds, but I needed a good one asap. Figured Sit 'n Sleep should know! So I chose one that felt firm and pushed up on my spine, because I've had surgeries on my spine and a "bad back" forever. So after about 3-6 months? I noticed it was sagging too much for me and my back was going back to its original pain and weakness. So I exchanged it for a super firm mattress and the same thing happened. So my third bed was, I believe second to top in firmness that you have, and it seems to be better for now (knocking on wood?). I could barely FIND a bed firm enough in your store. This one is a twin and I wanted the full size but apparently it just kept getting more and more expensive.
My salesperson was great, VERY helpful and accommodating, thankfully. I guess you don't even carry orthopaedic beds...I assumed everyone would want a mattress to hold their spine in place securely. So unfortunately I couldn't afford another $150 to get the full size. The one I have now seems okay? Time will tell. The frio mattress covers are not what I expected....nothing cooling about it. $250 after tax? So, my salesperson exchanged that too. I haven't tried the new one yet, but it seems to be a bizarre, useless product. I do feel let down with that. I should've just gone to an orthopaedic store, but I figured Sit 'n Sleep would know best. My sales associate was awesome, but your products????

When we went into the showroom, Sit 'n Sleep's reps had us lay down on this mattress, which then determined the kind and firmness of the mattress that we should get for our body type and weight. I liked the fact that it was a scientific way of figuring out what type of mattress you needed, so we went with them. We bought an heirloom mattress and I sleep better on it. We had our old bed for about 10 years and the new one’s much better. Sit 'n Sleep's delivery team was also great. They came, set up the new mattress, unpacked it all, and hauled away the old mattress in box springs. They were here for about 10 minutes and were very efficient. They did their work and left.

I bought a mattress from Sit 'n Sleep. I went to Sears and they were like kinda expensive. They didn't have what I was looking for. But the sales guy there, John, was very extremely helpful. My new mattress is a gajillion times better than my old one of 20 years. I sleep better on it. Everything was fantastic. My twin brother went to Sears too and bought a bed eight months later. It was the same name brand, but it was an upgraded model.

I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you need a mattress or anything from their store, definitely go see her, even if it's a far drive. It WILL be worth it!

Simmons Black L-Class Mattress. This mattress is better than most; cooling top is better than average which is great for hot sleepers. However, after only 2 months, there is some dipping on my and my husband's areas forming a small, firm mountain in the middle of the bed. I should note, my husband is 6'5" at 300lbs and I am 5'5" at 170lbs. But still, spending over 2k I thought it would not have this problem so soon. We previously had bought a Helix and this happened too but it was half the cost. The mattress remains firm even with the dipping, making it a comfortable sleep after having a lumbar spinal fusion-just wish there was no dipping.

Excellent experience with manager at the Camarillo/Oxnard store. He was able to offer a recently returned mattress at a tremendous value. Truly listened to our needs. He took us through the custom mattress selection process. Allowed us to try several mattresses in line with our preferences. When he perceived that cost was our major concern, he explained the procedure for buying a return and how carefully it is processed.

My experience with Sit 'n Sleep in Pasadena was excellent. Bryan was very attentive and knowledgeable about the product. I am very happy with the mattress thus far. However, the company that is used to deliver the mattress was subpar. They dragged the mattress over the floors of the house and seemed to not care. They were very rude and disrespectful.

I bought an adjustable bed, a mattresses, a bed frame and sheets from Sit 'n Sleep and it's all good. I paid it off in like 2 months. My old bed is totally different because now my new one's adjustable. The delivery guys were wonderful. They came too early and I was totally not ready, but they said they'd take care of it, and they did. I was sick and just not together but they did everything perfectly. The only issue is that I had to buy all new sheets and they are expensive.

I'm a single mom Private Eye who decided to buy a nice bed for my daughter and I. We went with the King Koil. Within a few months, the material was coming apart. It was inspected and denied. Frustrating! I just spent almost two grand! I then contacted Adan **, a Sit N Sleep Customer Service Representative. He was so warm, professional, prompt and efficient. I want to hire him! He respectfully asked for better pictures and discussed the case in detail with me. He was able to resolve this matter with the manufacturer for me in no time. I cannot express enough how comforting it is to know that some businesses still aim to please their clients and that it's not all about money. For that, I will be back to buy more and will refer the hundreds of attorneys I work with to them for great beds and customer service. Adan should be promoted.

This was the only mattress store that I felt comfortable in. The salesperson was very knowledgeable about the products. I felt guided to the right product without being pushed. The price was fair. I really enjoyed my experience while searching for a mattress at Sit N Sleep, Commerce, Ca. Our sales rep was great. He was very knowledgeable on the different mattresses in the showroom and even better, he never pressured us into anything. He explained the differences and left us alone a bit to let us make a selection on our own. He did check in with us on and off but didn't rush or pressure us. Delivery day went smoothly as well. In store service and delivery was exceptional! There was a defect on the base and the reporting/replacement was incredibly easy. The delivery driver took pictures of the defect and said that he would report it. Customer service contacted me 5 minutes after they left. Awesome!

Box spring was coming apart at bottom at dust screen. Had to restaple myself. Was disappointed that mattress was not reversible for equal wear. Can only use on one side. Salesman did not point this out and did not think to ask.

You can rotate the mattress (in fact it's encouraged) from head-to-toe every few months - this will ensure that both sides (left and right) receive even wear. I ordered an $8,000 bed and a whole bunch of Gore-Tex covers from Sit 'n Sleep. I'm extremely satisfied with the products that I purchased. And the bed affected my sleep in a very positive way. Other than that, I had an amazing interaction with the Sit 'n Sleep sales rep. She was friendly, thorough, scientific and not pushy. She made me feel comfortable. The delivery team was also good.

I had a horrible experience with Living Spaces, so I tried Sit ‘n Sleep. Mike, the gentleman who helped us out in the store, was very helpful. He gave us five options to choose from, the different types of mattresses and didn’t do the hard sale nor push one over another. He let us come up with our decision and so, I appreciate him. He was very knowledgeable and it was a great experience with him. The mattress was delivered to me and the delivery experience was outstanding. My old bed did not have as much rigidness that I need and I have better sleep with Sit ‘n Sleep.

We bought a king-size and a queen-size bed from Sit ‘n Sleep. The old mattresses were worn out so, the new mattresses were awesome. Now, I sleep through the whole night. I have no more backaches. The two gentlemen we worked with were knowledgeable and when we told them what our problems were, they knew exactly what we needed. However, I wasn’t happy with the delivery guys when the first bed was delivered. They scraped a lot of walls going up my stairs. On the other hand, the second set of guys were good.

My wife and I purchased a 3 thousand dollar Airloom mattress from Sit 'n Sleep in 2015 just hitting the 5 mark. The mattress was amazing the first year yet we noticed as the months passed we were having to rotate the mattress more often than we should. Fast forward today... I'm now suffering more and more from chronic back and neck pains at that start of the morning when getting out of bed. Since there is a 10 year warranty on the mattress we decided to call Sit 'n Sleep to see if we could have the mattress inspected. A technician came out on site and validated the mattress is well in the specs of a replacement and would file his report back to Sit 'n Sleep.
We called Sit 'n Sleep for an update and were told that the technician made note of a small stain and that I need to call the mattress protector sheet we purchased from Sit 'n Sleep and that they would need to clean it the mattress first and would insure the mattress. Keep in mind the technician took NO pictures so now it's a he said she said finger pointing game. I called again hoping to speak to someone else with less attitude since the rep would not allow me to speak to a manager and this time I was told If we pay to have it clean Sit 'n Sleep would send someone out to re-inspect but would cost $68.00 and that they still might not honor the warranty since it's their discretion...
As a Marine Corps Veteran I dealt with a lot of push back and nastiness throughout my tour, but having to get put through the wringer on something like this is insane. I get the feeling that rules are being made just to differ me from pleading a case with Sit 'n Sleep. This has gotten to a point to where it feels like I'm dealing with an insurance company who doesn't want to cover something they agreed to cover. It's sad when the only way to get through to them is to post a complaint.
A complaint I already went over with 2 different customer service reps. I want those out there that are reviewing who to buy mattresses from to read this and be warned of the fallout you have to deal with to get a fair compliance to a warranty that clearly was pushed by their sales teams when purchasing. As of now my case is still open and will probably never reach corporate since they hide their information from us consumers... Larry has officially let me down and laid me to rest.

Every morning for the past few months my husband and I have been grumbling that we need a new bed. This afternoon, when I stumbled on the paperwork from the purchase of our bed, I was appalled to find out that it was delivered to us only 27 months ago - on Oct 2, 2016. I just asked my husband how old he thought the bed is. He said 7 years. When I said "try again" he said 5 or 6 years. We were not very happy with this bed in the first place. Unfortunately we went back to the store about a month after the 60 day trial period. The salesman said there was nothing he could do. When we went back a second time, he suggested that we get a foam pad and eventually the bed would soften up.
So we spent about $150 on a good foam pad and additional money on deeper pocket sheets that would fit over the pad and tried that for about 15 to 18 months. The bed was better, but not really comfortable with the foam pad. And now without it, the bed is downright UNCOMFORTABLE. After (or possible during) the Northridge Earthquake in January 1994, we realized that our water bed had to go. Since then, we have purchased all our beds at Sit 'n Sleep. We were always happy with our purchases, comfort and customer service until this current bed.

I purchased a mattress and box springs from Sit n' Sleep. It's a good mattress for the price and I got a good deal. I like it a lot. It's very comfortable and it's a major upgrade from my old one. Their customer service rep was fantastic. She was very attentive and friendly. The only negative experience that I had was with the delivery guy. I live in a mobile home park and he needed to call and get directions on how to get to my place. He could not speak English very well and he didn't understand what I was saying so it was very difficult trying to communicate with him. Nonetheless, he was nice and super friendly. It was a good experience overall. I'd recommend Sit 'n Sleep and I would definitely shop there again.

I was assured by salesperson D. ** on 12/2/2018, that the Two Memory Foam Pillows and two Mattress Protectors were FREE. Yet on the receipt, I was charged $510 for the Mattress Protectors and $119.98 for the Pillows. After reading over 200 complaints and negative reviews I canceled the delivery of all merchandise and put a STOP payment on my check. 12/3/2018. Due to the misrepresentation and lies. On 12/3/18 the manager offered me a credit of approx. $300. I refused. I told him that was not acceptable since I was charged a great deal more. When I told him I canceled the delivery and put a stop payment, he said, "You wasted both of out time." The contract states that "All Sales are Final Upon Delivery," the merchandise was never delivered or received by me. If I'm found responsible for this debt, I would rather the debt go into my credit report, rather than giving these people the satisfaction of continued misrepresentation.
I don't trust or want any merchandise from this Sit n Sleep, Studio City store. After reading complaints, I don't trust that they will give me NEW, quality, Firm, memory foam mattresses. I do not want used floor models. I do not want overpriced Pillows & Mattress Protectors. They do not honor their advertisement, that they will honor a lower price at other stores. I had a positive experience on 12/5/18 from Sit n Sleep, Burbank 91502, from the store manager, Vicki **. No lies. No misrepresentation. I purchased one Queen Chocolate Nutmeg Platform Bed.

I purchased a bed at Sit 'n Sleep 15 years ago and I was treated pretty well when I was there. So, I decided to go back and I went there looking for a Tempur-Pedic bed. Bob, the salesman who spoke with me, was fantastic. He was helpful and informative. He really knows his stuff and he wanted to make sure that I was happy and comfortable, not just physically but monetarily as well. He had all kinds of great suggestions. He gave me a lot of tips that I hadn't even considered and when I did, I realized how valuable they were. He acted as if I was the only customer that he has ever had and that sold me. He said that he would be happy to sell me a Tempur-Pedic bed, but he wanted me to know what was out there and suggested that I take a look at all the different beds.
I ended up buying a different bed and I purchased a memory foam bed that goes up and down, and all around. The folks who came in to set the bed up for me were in and out in two seconds and they did a really good job. It's a great bed and I love it. I can't wait to get to bed at night. The whole experience has been really good and I would do it again. In fact, I've even told my daughter and her husband, as well as a couple of my friends at church, about the great customer service I had with Sit 'n Sleep and they claimed that they're gonna go and take a look there too.

I had a good experience at Sit 'n Sleep and I'd tell others to use them as well. I chose the Sit 'n Sleep mattress due to advertising and the fact that it's local. It's a Stearns & Foster and I absolutely like the quality so far. I’ve only used it for a couple of weeks and it's better than my old mattress. I had that for about six and a half years and it wore out. Plus I had some back problems before and that's a little bit better now.

We bought our mattress and bought the adjustable with it. Salesperson, brand new to SNS, did NOT tell my husband the adjustable wasn't returnable. He/we, would never have taken it home had we known if we didn't like it, it could go back. Spent a ton of money, don't like it, can't return. This is such bad business! You'll take a mattress you will take back and destroy, but not a mechanical item you can resell?
Rubbish! We will never shop with this company again! I'll be on FB this weekend to tell all the issues we had. The beds that were on sale, gone, the tags that said black Friday blowout? REGULAR PRICES!!! Salesperson admitted it. Fraudulent advertising. Never, ever will I recommend this company nor shop there again. Figured Larry would be honest and a good deal, Larry's sign says, 100% satisfaction guaranteed... not on ANYTHING but the mattress with a 20% restock fee! That isn't a restock. They destroy it. I wanted to return our adjustable and get a custom box spring. They said they told us it was non-refundable. They did not. We're stuck with it and I'm highly pissed off.

Please forward this email to a corporate supervisor. I purchased a mattress a couple months ago. When it was delivered, it was defective. Sagging. I had to pay a restocking fee to get another mattress, even though this one was approved as defective. I received a second mattress a month ago. It was defective. The main seam stitching was unraveling exposing the mattress material underneath. The day I received it, I took pictures, spoke to Yesenia at corporate. She said to email her pictures, she would send to the manufacturer and would get back to me. She sent me an email confirming she received my pictures. Weeks went by, no follow up by Yesenia. I called her. She approved another mattress exchange and, this time, said I would not have to pay a restock fee.
Last week, I went into the Laguna Hills store. Salesman Michael ** greeted me warmly. When he found out I was there for an exchange, he was immediately not happy and no longer friendly. He said "we are very busy today, this is not a good day for an exchange, you should try another day and you should go back to the store you purchased it from". I said I was told by Yesenia that I could go to any store. He was rude and frustrated and called corporate. Corporate could not find Yesenia's notes. Corporate told him they had not received my pictures of the defective mattress (I have an email from Yesenia 4 weeks prior confirming receipt of my pictures). Corporate and Michael ** told me they could not help me. I had to leave with no mattress. They told me to try again when Yesenia was working because they couldn't find her notes.
I called days later when Yesenia was working. I spoke to Alex who spoke to Yesenia. Alex told me the notes were in the system and apologized that the corporate rep could not find them. That, I was approved for an exchange. He told me to go back to the store and try again. I went back to the store and picked out a new mattress. The mattress was delivered today, 4 weeks after I reported that it was defective. The delivery guy's hands were dirty. When he was inspecting my old mattress, he left a 1/8th inch dirt smudge on the mattress. He then told me he had to call corporate. Corporate rejected my delivery of the new mattress because it was stained.
It was not stained. It was a tiny 1/8th inch dirt smudge from the delivery guy. At all times, I had the $80 top of the line mattress protector on the mattress, that I had purchased from Sit 'n Sleep. The delivery guys quickly left with my new mattress. I took a dry paper towel and wiped the smudge and it came right off. Not a wet paper towel, a dry one.
I called corporate and told them what happened and asked them to send back my new mattress as it had only been 5 minutes and the delivery guys were still on my street. They told me there is a 5 day wait period before I can even schedule to get my mattress, because I probably used a wet towel to clean it and it had to have time to dry. I told him I did NOT use a wet towel, it was dry. He said no exceptions. I had to wait another 5 days to call back. I asked for a supervisor. He said the supervisor does not take direct calls as she is busy calling back people who left messages. I left her a message. 2 defective mattresses and 2 months later, I still have no bed.

I bought a hybrid mattress and this new bed is much better than the one I had before. I’m happy when I’m asleep and when I’m waking up, I'm much happier. I like this mattress better than what we had before. When I made the purchase, location was a factor for me to choose Sit 'n Sleep and at least the service was average, not below average. But all in all, I’m extremely satisfied.

Make this a cautionary review of Sit 'n Sleep produce not the sales staff. When I went into the store in Rancho Cucamonga the salesperson greeted me, ask if it was my if time in the store. I explained I was a side sleeper and preferred my right side. He had me tested on the bed machine (Red, Blue, Green and Gold ratings) and was rated to be "Blue". The salesperson explained how the store was laid out by price and invited me to take my time and test the "blue' labeled beds and he would check back. I went about testing beds and after about 5 minutes he returned and ask if I had any questions, I ask about the differences in price, why some were deeper than others, why the stitching designs and if that affected the quality of sleep, did pillow tops change the firmness of the bed.
Without hesitation he answered each of my questions. I found the Kingsdown Bed the most comfortable. We sat down and wrote up the transaction and he explained every bit of the paperwork in detail from the warranty, sleep trail and set up and delivery date. Sunday, I got a call the day before the delivery to set a 3 hour delivery time. Monday, 45 minutes before delivery I got a call the delivery was on the way. The bed was delivered on time, they quick and efficient, in and out in ten minutes. I put on the bed dressing and that night laid in the bed. The middle section of the bed was firmer than the head or foot to the point my body was in a convex shape laying on my back or side.
About 2 am I bolted awake from a reflex reaction (the stomach is higher than the head) so the rest of the night I slept across the head section of the bed in a fetal position (I'm 6 ft. tall). Tuesday I called the store to talk to the salesperson and was told he would not be in until Wednesday. That night I slept in the guest room with over $1,000 of bed in the master I couldn't sleep on.
Wednesday, I go back to the store but the salesman is not in and I explain my problem, the bed I got was not the same as the display in the store, to a different salesman. His reply was, "The bed needed to be broken in". I told him the comfort of the bed in the store was extreme from what I had at home. He said, "The display bed had been on the floor for about 10 months and was broken in. Walk on the bed, jump up and down on it, get kids to jump up and down on it or got a bed topper from Costco. It could take 3 or 4 months to fully break the bed in".
I told him I would return the next day to speak to the original salesman. Again, another night of sleeping in the guest bedroom and a over $1,000 bed in the master can't use. Thursday, I returned, again explained my problem to the original salesman. Was reminded of the return and exchange policy I had signed. A $174 return fee and only an exchange. We finally agreed I could exchange the bed for the floor display if I did the exchange with my own truck. The display was stained so this would be the only exchange.
Again, another night sleeping in the guest bedroom and a over $1,000 bed in the master I can't use. I rented a truck and did the exchange the next day. So, in one week over a $1,000 gone out the window. No more Sit 'n Sleep and telling all of my friends, family and social media of my adventure of being taken by Sit 'n Sleep.

We purchased a whole bed with a spring mattress from Sit 'n Sleep and the service that I got from them was really good, so I really appreciated that. I came in a couple of times and the gentleman that helped me was really nice and helpful, answered all my questions, and I felt no pressure. We’ve had our old bed for about ten years and this one is much better and softer. There are set times that I have to go to bed and wake up, so it’s all the same. But in terms of how I feel about sleeping, this is definitely more comfortable. I definitely would recommend Sit 'n Sleep.

Sit 'n Sleep is the company my mom purchases her beds from and she recommended it. We recently came back into the country and we purchased two queen size beds. Sit 'n Sleep is a very good quality bed. It's very firm and we definitely get good rest from it.

I purchased a mattress for my 10-year old son at Sit 'n Sleep. They were local and it was the closest place to me and it had a selection of decent quality mattresses. The customer service was good, too. They delivered the mattress the next day and the delivery guys were great. All in all, everything went smoothly.

I had to see a chiropractor for a while and I was wondering what was going on. It turned out my old mattress was bad. I couldn’t sleep in very well and I kept having neck pains. I also had a lot of back pains from the dip in the bed. Now I am feeling a lot better. This new queen Sit 'n Sleep bed I got is a lot better. It’s firmer. My boyfriend had been the one who told me to go to Sit 'n Sleep first. I really wanted to go to Macy’s but he was a customer before and he said that Sit 'n Sleep has a really good warranty. When I went in, the salesperson told me, “You can go to Macy’s and we’ll wait for you ‘cause we know you’ll come back." "Let me save you the time.” He was so confident so I ended up staying and I purchased it there.

Our first set of mattresses began sagging in center and deemed defective after 6 months. We upgraded to more expensive set and 4 months later, we have a hole to crawl out of each morning. We both have severe shoulder pain from this and even though this is the second set of defective mattresses, Sit 'n Sleep's only response is to give us a store credit??? We want our money back, not your cheap mattresses!! Who's going to pay our doctor bills?? Terrible customer service! No matter where you call, you always speak to the same person, Keesha, who is absolutely no help at all. Obviously customer service is not a priority here. DO NOT BUY FROM SIT 'N SLEEP! RIP OFF!!!

We are very happy with the entire experience. Peter the sleep consultant was extremely patient, helpful and got us a great deal. The delivery drivers Kevin and Chris called about 30 minutes before they arrived. They were very professional, arrived on time, they put the permanent mattress cover on for us and had the old mattress out and the new one set up in a matter of minutes!

I was concerned that I might not be able to afford a new mattress or a box-spring but Sit 'n Sleep has a really good pricing. I purchased a memory foam mattress and a box-spring and they were within my budget. Then, the delivery was great. The guys were very helpful, very nice, courteous, and polite. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to take care of something because of the time that was originally given for the delivery window but they were able to make it earlier. It all worked out in the end and I was able to take care of what I needed to take care of. Also, I had my old bed for five or six years and it cannot compare with the new bed. The new one that I have is so much better and much more comfortable and I'm sleeping better.

I purchased Dreamfit Bamboo Sheets for Tempur-Pedic split king bed. Two sets costing almost $400. The sheets don't fit my bed and Sit 'n Sleep Culver City is not returning my calls. The sales person ordered the sheets from my original purchase profile. I expected better service.

I bought a frame, a Simmons Plush Foam mattress and the thing where the mattress sits on at Sit 'n Sleep. I got it a month ago and I bought everything brand new. It feels so much better and I sleep better now. I can sit down and it makes me fall asleep on it, that's how comfortable it is. My girlfriend was shopping for a new bed then. We were deciding on which bed was better to sleep and then we both liked the same bed. She had money first so she got it first. I tried to finance it through the financial credit thing and then I got credit and I ended up getting the same bed. It's been a great experience to lie on it and I'm so happy with my new bed. I would recommend it to anybody out there.

The Simmons Beautysleep that I bought from Sit n Sleep for my daughter was a great mattress and she loves it. The price was very reasonable. I started to buy it online but I did not have a way online to not accept the box spring, which I didn't need. So I emailed Sit n Sleep and got a response from one of their representatives. He was a delightful gentleman. Then I called him on the phone and we worked out our deal.
Their delivery team arrived within the window they gave, and they were very conscientious in terms of being careful not to knock stuff off the walls. They were just top-drawer people. This has been one of the most pleasant retail experiences I have ever had. I've had some typical buying experiences and Sit n Sleep just jumped out of the crowd. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

The old mattress that we've had for a couple of years was too soft for us. We got the base and mattress from Sit 'n Sleep for we wanted to try the bed mattress technology and see how will it work for us. Our house was burnt in the Thomas Fire that's why we purchased the bed from Sit n Sleep. The sales rep was excellent and very informative. The delivery was wonderful as well. We’ve had a futon mattress for five years and it was terrible compared to the bed frame and mattress we got from Sit ‘n Sleep. We now get much better support and comfort using our new bed. We heard some good reviews about the Sit 'n Sleep store, and so we went out there. The saleslady was very nice and explained everything. We tried beds out and made the final decision. We purchased an entire bed, including the mattress, the mattress box spring adjustable bed and two pillows. The delivery was easy. We have enough stairs, so the whole thing went a little heavy for the two guys who delivered it, but they set it up and there was no problem. We've had it for a month now and we love it. My husband and I sleep better in our new bed. It was a very nice experience and I've recommended them.

We are really disappointed with the brand new mattress that we bought less 4 months ago. When independent inspector came, he was surprised with level of indentation thinking it was an old mattress. My companion is a senior citizen with a bad back and now they declined to exchange the mattress. Below is what they emailed us: "Although mattress body impressions exceed normal warranty parameters Foundation(s) border/grid wires bent and/or damaged, which indicates abuse and is not a manufacturing defect covered by warranty."

I purchased a traditional spring mattress and box spring and had a great experience with Sit ‘n Sleep. I had a previous bed for 25 years that had a dual pillow, and the Sit ‘n Sleep didn’t, but I prefer the Sit ‘n Sleep because it’s firmer. The Sit ‘n Sleep manager was great. We prefer the new queen-size bed set we bought from Sit 'n Sleep. It's a little firmer while the other one was beginning to sag a bit. We've worked with that branch previously and have always gotten good service, so we went back to who we knew. We really weren't crawling out of a hole in the old mattress, but to a certain extent, we were. This has got a different feel and I'm a bit more refreshed now. They came, pulled the old mattress, set up the new one, and did everything they were supposed to do on time. It was a good experience. We expected a good service and a good product and we got that.

Sit n Sleep had a sale and we purchased a mattress. We had the old mattress for about four years and the one from Sit n Sleep is better so we're happy. Also, the manager who helped us was a nice guy. He was very interactive, entertaining and kind. He listened to what we wanted and didn't try to sell us something that we didn't want. He had other people that would come in and out and while he would help us and if he needed to go and help those other people, he would excuse himself and then come back to us. He would be there and not just leave us alone to tend to ourselves. I love Sit n Sleep and I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

We went in for the Labor Day sale. We were sized in their machine and sampled numerous beds before buying the KING AIRELOOM and accessories. We even played around and videotaped our experience for ourselves. We love the bed, definitely worth the expense. Delivery was smooth and timely. The bad: They switched salesmen without explanation and sold us pillows ($200 each) in queen, not telling us that they did not come in king. I have purchased many beds and I would still recommend Sit 'n Sleep and their products.

It was an ok experience. Did the bed we bought cure my sleeping issues? Hell no! It's 1:15am right now and I am awake. Is any of this do to your company? That would be another HELL NO!! Buying the bed was easy and painless. I think the cost of beds are a little pricey. Really isn't as comfortable as I hoped it would be. But better then the old stiff one we did have. The installation was so fast that if you blinked you missed it. Three guys came in. Each had something in their hands and knew exactly what needed to be done. It was a well organized Symphony. Not even 5 min and they were walking out with the plastic wrap. We signed the paperwork and they were gone. Amazing!!
Your sales department made their end quick and easy also. My wife loves it. Maybe when we took the sleep test. It dialed her in more than me. I don't know what it is. I just can't get comfortable seems like. Trust me I am ok with it. Like I said better than the old shot out extra firm one that was handed down to us and we had it for years. Sit and sleep was a good experience and I would tell friends who don't want the hassle of shopping around for the best deal, best fit, and don't have the extra time to do so like myself. To just go to sit and sleep and get it over with. Totally a painless process. Very good at what they do. Wish we would of got pillows with the deal. I read all the reviews and felt I was buying the best mattress available for the money. After sleeping on the mattress for a month now I would have to say it was not as advertised. It feels lumpy and not real comfortable, I wish I would have spent a little bit more and got something I would have liked better. My advice go to the store and buy, forget the online reviews because they can be misleading.

We bought a cushier Beautyrest and found, after one night, we needed the less cushy one that we'd liked in the first place, when testing all the beds at the store. Without issue, the salesman had the first one picked up and replaced it with the one we really wanted. It's been a couple of months now and we love it!

After purchasing a European pillow top king size bed, we noticed about a year later the bed started to bow from the head to the feet. This made sleeping extremely difficult as our heads and feet were up like we were in tacos. We waited to call Sit n Sleep almost another two years (just procrastinating). After calling, everyone was so kind and we were allowed to return that bed and choose another. We loved how comfortable that bed was and was sorry to return it as there was not an exact replacement. The manager at Sit n Sleep assisted us in choosing a similar bed.

I had a cheap I-just-moved-to-a-new-town-and-I-had-to-get-something sort of bed for eight years and it was so old. We went to Sit 'n Sleep and everything was good. My bed is much better and I am definitely sleeping better. It's bigger and more comfortable. My experience was an easy process, and the bed has been great.

I really enjoyed my sales experiences with Sit 'n Sleep. When I tried to take advantage of my trial mattress exchange, I was told that only ONE exchange was allowed, even though I was not informed of that prior to my purchase. The first mattress I bought was far too firm, and then I paid extra to get another one that cost a little more, but was far too soft. One can only really find out when they sleep on the mattress for a while, because although it might feel comfortable in the store, it can change when spending 8 hours on it. The second mattress is far too soft, and I am riddled with lower back pain, but because I had exchanged my original mattress once, I was denied a second exchange.
Despite paying about $1,500 in total, I'm very disappointed, and besides disappointment as a consumer, I am now in constant pain and cannot afford to purchase another mattress. The policy of only allowing one exchange needs to be revised, because logically the Goldilocks method of trying out a mattress will ring true no matter what. One might be too hard, the other too soft, until you finally find the one that will support you in comfortable sleep.

We bought the Sit 'n Sleep mattress and the bed with the headboard. We also bought pillow slips and sheets because they were extra long and my husband is tall. We had them delivered and set up. The delivery crew was very quick. I didn’t even realize they had finished. I was in the kitchen and by the time I got my tea, they were done and walking out. That was very nice. The only thing is, the sheets need to be ironed every single day we use them. The cloth itself wasn’t good, so we don’t use it anymore. The bed itself is perfect and my husband loves it. The Sit 'n Sleep people were great too. I saw my husband talking and laughing with their sales reps. I can’t sleep in the bed, though, because I like a softer bed. But it's for my husband, not for me. He chose a hard bed because that’s what he likes to sleep in.

Hello! We had our new mattress delivered today. We were very happy with the delivery/set up by Erik and Valencia. Our sales person was Michael ** at the Torrance store. This is our 3rd mattress purchase from your store. Just an FYI, there was a VERY long wait on the phone getting to speak with customer service on multiple occasions. I also received mis-information about how to get a warranty claim taken care of for my old mattress encasement. I spent a lot of time with calls and e-mail to that company, (pure care) from information that was given to me by your attendant, only to find out that mine was from a different company that you used years ago. Your customer service attendant had called up my old info and should have been able to see the manufacturer. Anyway, I am giving a 5 star for the order and delivery. If it wasn't for the nice service from them I probably would never shop at Sit n Sleep again!

I take care of my 92-year-old mother and I needed a bed to be in her bedroom with her. It's not dire but I was sleeping on a futon. I walked into a Sit ‘n Sleep store and the salesperson was really patient and knowledgeable. I liked the fact that everyone was very professionally dressed and they’re respectful among themselves. I didn't feel pounced upon but very well taken care of and treated very respectfully and professionally. There wasn't any need for me to shop further because they had provided me with everything I wanted to know, a decent price and they delivered on time. I've been sleeping on the bed for the past couple of months since the 4th of July and it has been great. I need a good night's sleep when I'm with my mom because I'm sort of a lifeguard for her. It's not a super fancy bed but it's super comfortable and it allows me to get sleep when I can get it. It was a good experience all around.

It was about 14 years ago after we just got married when we first purchased our most heavenly Beautyrest World Exceptional mattress at the Culver City SNS store. Given our then-superb-purchasing experience, we returned to SNS without a doubt but this time in Glendale & bought another most comfortable, luxurious Stearns & Foster mattress. And the store manager, Ali, was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient through our buying process that spanned over 2 weeks! He gave us such a great deal which we so appreciated!
I also had to talk to another sales associate, Danny, and he too was very helpful and sincere in addressing my needs! And when the delivery crew came, they were so efficient, courteous, and helpful in setting up our mattress and made sure everything checked out perfectly before they cleaned up after themselves and left. I purchased a name-brand king size mattress & box springs from Sit 'n Sleep. Once delivered, I discovered the weight of the actual mattress alone (not with the box springs) was 187 pounds, and I could not move it in order to meet warranty requirements of turning every few months. While the mattress was firm and comfortable, I was disappointed that I would not be able to turn it without significant help. I contacted the Manager, Allie at my local store. He was very accommodating in finding another mattress set that would be lighter and more manageable for me, while also satisfying my comfort level.
Within the appropriate timeframe, they had a new mattress delivered to me that met more reasonable requirements, and I did not have to pay anymore other than the restocking fee. This is a second set I have purchased from Sit 'n Sleep during a period of several years and I would return again in the future if necessary when I am ready for another new mattress.

Robert ** was great to work with. He sold us a Tempurpedic bed that we later decided to exchange for another brand. My beef is with the delivery guys. When they came to exchange the beds, they picked up the Tempurpedic with dirty hands and smudged the bed, then took photos claiming we did it. They didn't photograph the bed until they stood it up.

My search for a good mattress finally ended when an employee of Sit 'n Sleep suggested I take a "sleep test" on the machine at their Palmdale store in order to determine what kind of mattress would best fit my need. Being burdened by an extremely sensitive body hurt, I took the test. Voile, I went with the choice of the machine, and am finally sleeping much better and not getting up feeling hurt in the morning. Never thought I'd pay so much for a mattress, but it's worth every penny. All in all, the service the sales lady extended to me was excellent, patiently and graciously taking time to satisfy a NOT-EASY customer.

Mattress was replaced due to damage, and ergm-2000sslegs was exchanged from 8.5 inches to 5' black powder legs and it’s done by Erik **. He drilled extra holes to the master head board to fit it to bed frame which resulted in more stabilized condition. First installer only used two screws to attached the head board. Done very poorly and unprofessional way.
