I bought two recliners in Dec 2016. By Oct 2020 the swivel bases are broken, and my hardwood floor destroyed by scratches from the broken parts, which is doubly frustrating. The product came with a "Lifetime Warranty", but when I contacted them to ask for replacements, they asked me to pay for them. The warranty states customer pays for shipping, but the parts(other than the leather) should be covered. When I asked for an explanation about the contradiction with their own warranty, they stopped responding. I contacted the retailer too to inform them of their supplier's behavior.

I purchased a loveseat and sofa. Both were purchased for their ability to handle heavy weight. The steel construction was well made. The padding was good, though the lower back support faded quickly and the cushions themselves are free floating so they can twist easily. The power recline works and is heavy duty. Now we come to the single point of failure. They use the same feet discs for these heavy couches as they do for the light one. Plastic that twists and cracks off. Leaving a metal bolt head scraping a hole in your floor. Or ripping your carpet. Etc, etc, etc. You cannot find replacement parts even through their dealers. Even if you could replace them the discs are substandard. They should be machined out of metal, IE same item but of metal, with a felt lining. Even a simple thick disk with half the center milled out so the bolt head could recess.

Having moved I found most of the disc legs showed fatigue, half were cracked and 6 were broken off completely. I now sit with the loveseat wrapped in my new living room as I cannot put it back together until I figure out a way to get new feet discs. And the couch is using the best I had left but I have little faith that they will last. There is no way to contact the company that gets you a response. I will NOT buy this product again nor would I recommend them to anyone. No matter how well constructed they are if they have nothing to stand on they are worse than useless.

First I had to wait 5 weeks for the delivery. First day I sit and try to recline and get almost all the way back and it tips forward throwing me on my feet with the back holding me down! For the same price as Jackson/Catnapper pieces, you could go to Ashley and get something made twice as cheaply. The frames of Jackson/Catnapper are all steel-reinforced with a limited lifetime warranty, the cushions have thick inner coil springs with a limited lifetime warranty, and all the recliner mechanisms have a limited lifetime warranty. The cushions are second to none when it comes to retaining their shape and the company themselves are the most excellent when it comes to claims.

Bought 2 Catnapper recliners from PC Richards. Warranty is limited lifetime on frame. Both PC Richards and Catnapper/Jackson are the worst with customer service. Chairs are put together with staples and small little scraps of wood. The arm of the chair separated from the body rendering the chair useless. We had a repairman come out and said it was covered under warranty. However he didn't leave us any paperwork with his phone number or name and now no one knows who it was that came out or won't tell us. PC Richards is saying we have to pay for another repairman to come out and pay for repair. What!!! Catnapper is saying PC Richards is handling it. I have always had recliners some 20 years old and did better than these recliners for a 3rd of the price. Never will buy anything from Jackson or PC Richards ever again.

Upon further inspection their steel frame isn't even attached to real wood. It's particle/plywood material and just stapled together not even nailed or screwed to the frame. I would not buy this furniture again. Highly dissatisfied. After being a Jackson customer for years they have lost my business. It's not like I bought a cheap set. They cost close to 3,000 new. I bought Catnapper Lift Chair in April for over $1200. One arm of it was sinking in more and more. After I had it for 6 months, I made a few calls to furniture store. They send someone to see and repair. There is a piece of wood that goes front to back on top and attaches at each end to cross pieces. The long one that is front to back was much too short and not attached at back end; it was just hanging there. The man replaced wood and did a good job. I’m pleased. BUT - I sent message to Jackson Catnapper Company ONLY to let them know so they can probably check that department quality control.

Ha! I received an apparently GENERIC email, (from Tamra **), telling me they don’t take care of repair issues but they have a limited warranty, and to call the selling dealer to get my repair done. The woman didn’t even address my issue/concern. *I already had told them repair was done. So, I sent another email to let them know I didn’t appreciate the Generic response and to suggest they check quality control. I never heard back. We have owned 3 Catnapper Cloud 12 Power Chaise Recliner - Camel. A huge disappointment. Let me say that this is a beautiful chair and the fabric is very nice. Catnapper in my opinion is all about aesthetics for a quick sale, not quality or longevity. However, don't be fooled by looks. The inside is poorly made of particle board and cheap filling. The power is a failure along with comfort after 6 months. That's when the problems begin. We are average size adults, under 150 lbs. We have no pets, no small children. This Catnapper Cloud 12 Power Chaise Recliner - Camel was the first purchase from the largest on-line retailer. It was not cheap by my standards. Said it was built to last!

Catnapper Cloud 12 Power Chaise Recliner - Camel #1 Looks beautiful, fabric is awesome, plush and comfy for the first 6 months until the cheap filling starts sagging and comes out from the bottom. The strong "particle board" that it is built with broke on the left side of the recliner within 13 months. Power totally stopped working within 13 as well. We cannot use it anymore. Yes, I still have this one, it's beautiful. It was put in a bedroom for looks.

Catnapper Cloud 12 Power Chaise Recliner - Camel #2 My husband loved this chair so much that I decided to buy him one for Christmas exactly like this one 2 months after I purchased mine. I purchased it from a local furniture store. It was awesome the first 6 months, then problems started with his. The entire chair collapsed due to poor quality and workmanship. We took it back to the furniture store. They allowed us to trade it in on a Lazy Boy at their suggestion. They told us that this among other styles by Catnapper has the same poor quality build and they were in the process of discontinuing the brand.

Catnapper Cloud 12 Power Chaise Recliner - Camel #3 Being swooned by my new chair, I also ordered Catnapper Cloud 12 Power Chaise Recliner - Came for my daughter for Christmas as I did my husband. I ordered it from another popular on line company as she lives out of state. Within 13 months of ownership the power was touch and go, sometimes it worked, most times it wouldn't. When it did work it sounded like a train. Very loud, finally stopped working at all. She said that her chair began to pop in the seat area and started sagging and dispensing cheap thin filler all under the chair. Like mine, still looked good. She took her chair to the dump.

After 15 years with the same living room furniture, we decided we wanted a change. The furniture was still in very good shape. No tears or worn spots. We decided we wanted to buy a good quality set so we purchased a sofa, loveseat and two recliners. It is just myself and my husband (no pets or children). While the sofa and loveseat is sturdy and functional, after 2 years the "bonded leather" began peeling off. There hasn't been any chemicals used to clean. Only an occasional damp cloth. The recliners were horrible. The frame on one seems to be warped and the material has almost completely worn off of the back headrest area and arms.

When checking on what we thought was a lifetime warranty, the small print states a one year limited warranty on certain parts and materials, with no warranty on leather or vinyl. I will never purchase another catnapper piece of furniture. I've noticed similar reviews about peeling leather. I normally do not write reviews but am writing today in hopes that someone may avoid this problem. I fell asleep on it one night and the next day I felt like someone had a blow torch down my throat. I'm not sure if the smell is coming from the fake leather, (I was led to believe by the store it was real leather btw), or if it is formaldehyde gasses from the cheap plywood in the frame!

They said they would have to staple the back on. If they did that there is no access to the back to put more fill in or to take apart the backs from the bottoms so a person could move the couch. It is very very heavy. So I still have this damaged couch. They are the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.

We bought a sofa from Jackson/Catnapper in 2015. With 4 kids it was important for us that it was well made and had a lifetime frame warranty (so I read their warranty online before we bought it--attached). Jackson/Catnapper emphasis on their website how well made and durable their furniture is. This sofa replaced a sofa that we had purchased 15 years earlier and had never had a problem with the frame. We also have a sofa in the family room that is older than the kids—no frame problems ever. The frame on the Jackson/Catnapper sofa broke after about 4 years of normal use. When I contacted the company to get warranty support they said that their frame warrant is limited by the 1-year labor warranty.

Therefore (1) I needed to pay for a furniture repair person to come over and access the sofa, (2) send the repair person’s report to Jackson/Catnapper, (3) Jackson/Catnapper would send me any needed parts (I would have to pay for shipping), (4) the furniture repair person would need to come back a second time and take apart the sofa (if this was a bottom rail that would be major work) and put it back together—all of which I would have to pay for.

The only thing that Jackson/Catnapper would pay for would be the parts—a few pieces of wood or metal (that I would have to pay shipping on). Their deceptive reading of their frame warranty essentially makes it worthless. My answer was that they could ship me a new sofa (what I had expected) with me paying for shipping. I write this so that other people know what kind of company Jackson/Catnapper really is. Realistically (when you add up the costs) the “lifetime” frame warranty is just a 1-year warranty.

The recline mechanism failed after 16 months. Read the small print. Warranty is only for one year. When reclining, 2 small 1/4" bolts is supposed to hold and move a sitting 450# person, impossible for an extended period of time. If you are looking at this chair-run and run fast. We purchased our Catnapper Couch and Loveseat approximately 3 years ago. Since the purchased this I have had the cushion in the leg/footrest portion of one of the sides of the couch start to fall as if someone reached between the leather and yanked a corner down. Keep in mind no one sits on this side of the couch. The other side has had the leather flake in the headrest area, on the seat near the stitching down the middle, and on the armrest on the stitching area, below it and above it. Where the armrest is there is an indent from the little bit of wood falling in. Then to top it off the motor broke.

When my husband went to figure out what happened (our is an electronic recliner) he found that a couple of the pieces to keep the arm that pulls the footrest up and down are made up of cheap plastic. He swapped this out for the side that is not used in less than a year this one has now broken. He looked at the pieces on the loveseat where he sits and they are cracked and breaking.

I purchased this couch from RC Willey in Utah being told this was a great couch for someone my size. I don't "Plop, Bounce or Jump" on my couches, my 10 and 15-pound dogs (1 each size) sleep next to me when I am on them but that is it. When I raise the feet I pull my legs up as much as I can to keep as much pressure off the mechanics as possible. To have these motors break, the padding fall, the leather flake, and the armrest where an arm doesn't sit break are unacceptable. Don't we take pride in what is made in the US anymore?

I have emailed the company to see what they will do to assist us since obviously, the Warranty is now out of date. Had I have seen all of these comments on this product and company before I would never have purchased from here. Shame on me for not doing enough homework. This is very disheartening and draining on people who had to scrape and save for a nice set already, now to hunt for another one.... in the middle of finding out devastating news in the family, and possibly losing my job, this does not sit well with me.

Most poorly made couch I have ever seen. Boy did I fall for it. We loved the look and feel of the floor model, so we bought the sectional couch and two recliner sofas to furnish our new home. The recliners are doing pretty well, but the couch is trash. First thing that happened is that the frame broke as a result of that "I'm home, time to fall on the couch" crash. It was still under warranty, so they came and got it, repaired it, returned it. Except that their repair was them shooting up the frame with long nails to put it back together, which we noticed poking through the couch. We had to hammer down the sharp points so as not to be stabbed. Come to find out, the frame is made of cheap pine, which is light and fragile.

Now, two years later, the couch is pretty much unusable. I'm replacing it with my tax return. The arms have been pushed away from the rest of the frame somehow. The frame has been stretched (?) or separated (?) I'm not sure which, but the cushions no longer fit and there's about a four inch gap between them on both sides of the sectional. If you sit there, you sink in between the cushions, and you get to feel the frame in your backside. I was also sold the furniture because the cushions have actual springs, stronger cushions that hold up better, they say. Well, they don't. You sit on the edge of the couch, you get to feel the frame in your legs. Basically I have a couch frame now. It's everything but comfortable. Don't waste your money. Buy a cheap couch at Big Lots and never, ever go to a furniture store.

My wife purchased the "Catnapper" Recliner via the Post Exchange (PX) online sales. Once we set it up, I sat down in it and first was surprised at the seat height. I'm average height and my feet didn't touch the floor. When I raised the footrest the back went all the way back to a horizontal position. There was no stop where I could raise the footrest and have the back in a vertical position. Then, and this the real problem, when I tried to use the handle on the side of the chair to lower the footrest and raise the back to a vertical position again, the handle would not budge! I had to push down hard with the lower portion of my leg. In fact pushing down hard didn't work… VERY hard did. I finally was able to get the back upright again and the footrest in the down position.

There is obviously a mechanical problem with the pivot point locations in the mechanism. They are not located in the proper position for the chair to function properly. Consequently, the chair needs to be examined by a mechanical engineer in order for the problem to be rectified. Or judging from other reviews I have read on this chair the manufacturer could continue making it the same way and expect different results; Einstein called that INSANITY. HOWEVER, THAT'S NOT THE ENTIRE PROBLEM... Over the next few days I tried to use the chair, but continued to have difficulty in righting the chair to the normal upright position from the full horizontal position. In fact the difficulty was so great that I strained the quadricep ligament in my right leg and ended up in the emergency room. I have been in considerable pain for a week now as a result.

My wife wanted to get a lawyer and file suit against the manufacturer; I am not pursuing that course though. As the chair is currently configured I would not recommend the chair to an enemy let alone a friend. Quality control on this item seems nonexistent, as far as the mechanicals are concerned. The leather of the chair is a very good quality, and is the chair's only saving grace IMHO. I am following through to have the chair removed from the Military PX system so fellow soldiers will not suffer the same results, by purchasing this item, as I have. IMHO this "Catnapper" as configured is good only for firewood. However, a minimum investment by the manufacturer could make this a VERY good product.

Furniture that peels from normal weather within a few years of purchase is absolutely absurd. The furniture pieces are not cheap so you would expect them to hold up. Our pieces were purchased from Wolf furniture in Harrisburg and like the long list of everyone else, the leather is cracked and sealed and the pieces are essentially needed to be thrown in to the trash.

I'm not sure how a company can sell a product that is so poorly made. The pieces are honestly a health risk to anyone with children who can easily put the flaked off pieces of leather into their mouths. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. We purchased three beautiful pieces, one sofa and two loveseats. After a couple years the “leather” has peeled and shedded. I literally vacuum up pieces of this couch. What a huge waste of money! These were NOT cheap $300 couches! We paid $2500 for three pieces that are now useless. The store is out of business and we basically have to replace all of our living room furniture. We are beyond disappointed! While looking at a furniture store the saleslady suggested Catnapper. No. Freaking. Way will I ever buy Catnapper or Jackson furniture again. With all of the complaints on the exact same piece you would think the company would recall it. This company has been around forever, I would have thought we were buying a quality piece of furniture, not throwing $2500 down the drain.

My wife and I purchased a leather reclining loveseat and sofa with a warranty. Due to a period of moving, the sofa was wrapped up and placed in storage (w/o a mark) for two years. The leather on the loveseat started peeling off after about a year, and upon settling into our new home, it looked like the sofa didn't fare any better as the leather was separating from the cloth backing as well. When we called to get the sofa and loveseat repaired under warranty, a person came out and looked at the furniture, took pictures, and advised us that they wouldn't repair the faulty workmanship.

The furniture is now another year older and the leather has started to peel off in such small pieces that we are constantly sweeping up little bit of leather off the hardwood floor and pieces that stick to clothing or body parts are all over the house, including the bedding. I will NEVER recommend nor purchase anything from this company again. The warranty was useless as well. I probably should've read the reviews first. In hindsight, looking at where the company address is, and as much as MAGA is a scam given where that brand originated from, I shouldn't be surprised.

Purchased two Jackson Catnapper couches from Homemakers in 2016. Leather is peeling off of both couches with no extraordinary use. No animals or kids climbing on them. We simply watch television in the evenings while sitting on the couches. They explained that the couch falling apart is "normal wear and tear". I have never heard of couches falling apart due to people sitting on them when they're only two years old. Purchased the extended warranty but apparently that does not matter either. Neither Jackson Catnapper, nor Homemakers will make it right. What kind of business is fine with manufacturing goods that fall apart with normal use after two years? This is rubbish furniture and both Jackson Catnapper and Homemakers should be ashamed for scamming people. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from these businesses.

I used to live in Northeast Ohio and I bought what I thought was a gorgeous catnapper sectional with Chaise for $2000. I moved to Toledo Ohio taking my brand new furniture with me. Less than a year I had it I started to have issues with the structure of the large couch portion of the sectional. Found springs had came loose and curled. The braces holding the bottom broke and I have wood pieces trying to poke out the back of that portion. Stitching is coming out of all the back cushions as well. I contacted Catnapper directly and they told me they do nothing with the warranties. It’s the dealer's responsibility. I contacted the dealer. He said he couldn’t do anything for me because I had moved. He did tell me he would have his sales rep contact me to help me. I never got a call. In looking at his Facebook page, he doesn’t follow up on any of his warranty issues. People are also still waiting on product to be delivered.

I continued to contact Roger with Catnapper and now I’m getting no response at all. My warranty is now up and I’m stuck with junk. I found this site and all it sounds like is Catnapper is giving all the excuses as to why they don’t have to help customers. When I purchased my sectional it was a floor model. I was told I had all the warranties that come with Catnapper a new products. According to Catnapper the same warranties do not apply to display models. The only thing I have is a receipt, I have nothing to prove what I was told. I work for General Motors. General Motors certifies all of their dealers. When our dealers start screwing up they yank the certification from the dealer.

Catnapper shame on you for not keeping tabs on your dealers. Falsely telling consumers things that don’t apply to product being sold to make a buck. Shame on you for making an unsafe product and not doing anything to improve what’s happening. You have a ton of unhappy people posting in here. What are you doing to improve these issues? All I am seeing is grey areas that keeps you out of it and you still manufacture junk. If I did my job like you guys do people would die. You are injuring people with your product. Pictures on here prove it. Thank God I found my problem before it hurt a member of my family. Shame on you Catnapper. But you still get your money. You haven’t heard the last from me.

After I complained about the response to my problem the company help desk did provide additional information. They asked me for the product serial number, found what product I had and found that it was still in production so I could get replacement material. The material cannot be repaired itself, replacement is the only option. This is actual customer support and what should have happened the first time! The peeling problem still rates the product a 1 star but I will give credit to the representatives of Jackson Furniture for providing some customer support.

The furniture - a couch and a large chair were purchased four years ago. Faux leather - but not cheap - $600 each. Placed in a movie room which is not the daily family area - movies, video games, etc. sometimes a week goes by with nobody using it. A few months ago there was some flaking of the leather material but now it is really getting bad. Of course the warranty has long expired, I contacted Jackson and reply was to call a local furniture repair person and see if they could fix it and a lot of explanation was added that the warranty was out and that Jackson had no responsibility at all.

I was not expecting them to take care of a four year old product but SOMETHING would have been nice. If they could tell me the flaking could even be repaired or not would save me the cost of having a local person come out to say "Nope - can't fix it". So - terrible product - will be sure to not buy a Jackson-made furniture product again.

I called the store where we purchased it because I remembered the sales lady tell us this product has a warranty with it and we bought an extended warranty. I called Howell Furniture to inquire about what could be done. I was told it was covered only for one year from the manufacturer and the extended warranty on covered accidental cuts and tears and they would charge me fifty dollars to come out to take pictures of it and forty dollars an hour. We bought the Jordan Sectional Sofa and are very dissatisfied with the quality of the product. My son, I guess I would say, "plopped down" on the sofa and broke it. He didn't jump on it. He just didn't set down with ease. We called Standard Furniture and told them it was broken (we had it less that 6 months at that time) and they got with the company and they sent out a person to look at it. The first guy that came out and looked at it said he wouldn't be able to fix it by himself so he took some pictures and said someone would be getting back in touch with me. When he had the bottom pulled back I could tell that the part that broke was some kind of particle board looking material.

A couple of weeks later another repair guy called and said he was coming out to look at it and I asked if he had someone with him and he said no but the first guy was probably new and couldn't fix it by himself like he could. This guy said he couldn't fix it either and that the company would either replace that part of the sectional or they would pick it up and send it off to be fixed. A couple of weeks later after not hearing from anybody we called Standard Furniture and they said the company would not fix it due to customer neglect.

So I emailed the company from their contact page (because there is no customer service number to call) to talk to them personally and checked that my preferred contact was by phone and then waited a couple of weeks and received no call or email. The second time I went back and did the same thing again and received an email this time asking me to email back with what my problem was so they could put me in touch with the correct department. But, in my comments on the 'contact us' page I said it was due to a problem with damage to the furniture.

By that time I was just frustrated and didn't want to deal with them anymore. I can understand where they see that it was our fault with it being damaged but prior to this piece of furniture we have never had problems like this. Our last two couches were Ashley and they lasted very long with no problems. With this furniture I have to constantly reposition the cushions and if anybody sits on the chase part it moves every time. It and the other cushions are held in place with a small piece of velcro that doesn't work. The stitching is fraying in different spots also. The sectional itself is pretty. We get a lot of compliments on it. But after this experience and the issues we have had I just tell people that I don't recommend them buying one. If they would have just taken the time to call me and see if we could work something out it might have been different but this will be my first and last purchase from Jackson Furniture.

I bought a Jackson chaise and loveseat in June of 2017 (4377-75 and 4377-42). In less than 2 months the frame on the loveseat cracked and broke. The arm on the chaise caved in in 2 spots, felt like it was particle board that got pushed in. I contacted the retailer, Suniland Furniture who have been wonderful, and they contacted Jackson. They eventually sent out a technician to assess the damage. When the tech lifted the loveseat part, he removed the tacking on the back and bottom and the entire frame fell out of the loveseat!! He took pictures and said, "hmmmm" a few times. I explained that the loveseat cracked when my husband sat down, he did not jump on it, plop on it, stand on it. It cracked from a regular sit. The arm of the chaise got pushed in when I was getting off of the chaise, you have to brace yourself on the arm and push to get out of the deep seated chaise that I now sank into because the frame was broken.

These defects are not from "misuse". No one has jumped on or stood on this furniture. It is absolutely ridiculous that the technician and Jackson furniture deemed these defects are from misuse. The tech put the tacking back on after he shoved the broken pieces of frame back in and sealed it up. All of these issues are under the 1 year manufacture's warranty, which obviously means NOTHING to Jackson Furniture. I didn't hear back from the company for more than a month so I called Suniland and they told me that Jackson deemed the defects were misuse. I asked Suniland to contact them again because I need to appeal that decision. This has been more than 2 months, Suniland has contacted Jackson and they were supposed to send another tech out to assess my dangerous and falling apart furniture. I still have not heard from the technician to schedule the appointment.

My hand, arm and my daughter's hand have been cut by broken pieces of wood and tacks sticking out of the broken frame. When the remote slides under the cushions like it always does, it's risking a serious injury to try to fish the remote out from under the cushions. At this point I am prepared to go to the State Deputy Attorney General who is a family member to address these issues. I also have a rather large following on social media and will be letting everyone I know about the low quality and terrible customer service with Jackson Furniture.

I was having surgery in the near future and wanted a recliner that would recline almost flat. My condition was such that I couldn't actually get out to a store to shop. I searched online and found a recliner at BOSCOV'S in Scranton. I ordered it and it arrived fairly quickly. Easy to assemble by a friend. I sat in it and noticed that the stuffing was very firm. I expected that it would soften with wear. But I also noticed that the stuffing in the seat was poorly done. It was divided into three sections. The first and second sections were even and well stuffed. The third section was stuffed at an angle going up onto the arm of the chair. You could only sit on the first and second part of the cushion. If you used the third part of the seat you were sitting at an angle. Since my surgery was two days away I couldn't do much except hope that the stuffing would even itself out in time, especially since I would probably be spending about 12 hours in it each day for 6+ weeks.

Well it didn't happen. It's 20 month old and you need to sit at an angle or use only part of the seat cushion. However the back of the chair did settle out very quickly. Sitting in it for only a short time gives you such a backache that nobody wants to sit in it. I try to use cushions and blankets to pad the lower back of the cushion but it just doesn't work very well. I now have a $600.00 decoration that nobody will go near. It's really is a pretty decoration. The material is quality and the reclining mechanism works very well. I survived my 6 weeks using the blankets and pillows and it was nice to have it recline as far as it did. My pain medications also helped lots. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN will I purchase another CATNAPPER piece of furniture. I can't even GIVE the chair away. Nobody who has sat in it will go near it.

    Denise,

Per your warranty. If your furniture is less than 1 year from date of purchase you must contact the dealer you purchased the furniture from as they carry all warranties. The exception to this would be "These limited warranties do not apply to (i) merchandise that was, at any time, used as a floor sample or display model, (ii) any merchandise purchased "as is" or second-hand, (iii) any merchandise purchased at a distress sale or a going-out-of-business sale, or (iv) any merchandise purchased from a liquidator." Please know we are not saying this is your circumstance only that if any of these apply there is no warranty with the furniture. If none of these apply please contact the dealer for further assistance. Thank You.

The fabric is quality and cleans up easily. However, we've had a lot of problems with quality/workmanship such as seams coming apart and broken-down components. We've had the recliner repaired on two separate occasions after owning for only a short time. For no more than it was used, there was no excuse for the issues we experienced with our recliner. I wouldn't expect the types of problems we had until after years of use.

My experience has been mostly with RC Willey where we purchased the Jackson furniture from. The Sofa and Chair on display in the showroom was comfortable and we liked the way it looked so we bought it. When we purchased the furniture we were never told that there was no warranty coverage for faulty material problems either by RC Willey or the manufacturer. They did offer a treatment for the faux leather which we agreed to have put on to have an extra layer of protection. We purchased the furniture on 12/9/2011 and some of it was delivered on 12/16/2011. The love seat came on 1/5/2012; which we exchanged for another chair as it did not fit the room. The other chair showed up on 2/3/2012. We were excited to have some new furniture that we thought was going to last a long time and be comfortable.

When we sat down on the sofa it was not near as comfortable as the one in the showroom. We just figured that it was that way because it was new. It is still pretty much the same way. So we use it but not all that much and only for short periods of time. Just about 2 and half years after purchasing it we started to notice some crinkles in the faux leather (bonded fake leather) which actually looked like what real leather does and we thought nothing of it at the time until we started seeing little pieces of brown stuff on the floor. It just looked like small pieces of dirt and then we realized that it was the furniture that was shedding its skin. We called RC Willey who unsympathetically informed us that we outside of the warranty period and there was nothing they could do for us.

After a couple of more phone conversations they did give the number of the company they use to do repairs. He came out and took some pictures and we never heard or saw him or RC Willey again. They never mentioned to try and talk to the manufacturer to see if they could do something. So one day someone tells me that RC Willeys' was being sued for some furniture issues. So I thought I would check into to this and see if there might be a resolution to this problem. Nothing turned up there but it did take me to this web page where I have found several articles describing in detail my same experience with this furniture. At first I was relieved, but as I continued to read further what I saw was that nothing was getting resolved by Jackson Furniture. Just the same standard response "No warranty on materials". So I did not see any sense in talking to them about it.

I understand that they can't be responsible for how people use their furniture; everyone is different. Yet when there is a definite pattern developing over quite a period of time and a company does nothing to stop using those defective materials, they are in their actions saying they don't care. Even worse; they know it's defective, but they are going to sell it to you anyway. I believe there are some consumer protection laws against these types of business practices. I would be curious to find out if anyone has become sick by this decomposing material; especially small children or pets. I can't imagine the dust from these materials are all too healthy to breathe, especially the glue used to Bond the materials together.

We have put covers over all 3 pieces of furniture to try and keep the stuff from falling all around the furniture and to keep the dust down that comes up when you sit down. We are planning on getting new furniture for the house. This furniture will most likely go to the dump as we would not feel good about giving it to anyone else. Actually the worst part is Jackson Furniture's declaration on this website about how much they care and are dedicated to building quality furniture.

    Morris,

We appreciate that you took the time to contact us, however I must inform you our warranty card is clear regarding floor stock or sample furniture purchases. Under ALL PRODUCTS These limited warranties do not apply to merchandise that was, at any time, used as a floor sample or display model. The warranty information regarding what isn't covered goes on, but this part of the warranty applies to your situation. A copy of the warranty card is being sent to the e-mail address you provided. With this said, because you purchased a display model there would be no coverage for any part(s) for your furniture. Also, had there been warranty, at over 5 years from date of purchase there wouldn't be any coverage for the issues you describe. I hope this information is helpful in explaining the warranty and coverage.

    Ted,

The warranty doesn't cover pet damage to the furniture. If you wish to have the furniture re-covered you would need to locate an upholster in your local area to assess and order the fabric parts needed to repair. Once they have determined what parts are needed they can contact us at customerservice@jacksonfurnind.com with a list of parts needed at which point we will provide them pricing for the parts being requested. There is also a area at the end of the couch doing the same thing. At the cost of $988 it SHOULD be a safe assumption the couch would last more than a year (or more than 5 for that matter). The couch is lightly used and 9 times out of 10, the ottoman we bought with the couch is used so it's not like people are kicking it. There are only my husband and I in our home and I rarely sit on it. As time goes on it is wearing horribly and in places where no one hardly sits. We are so upset with the lack of service, quality, and condition of the sofa.

** AVOID CATNAPPER PRODUCTS ** Within the three year warranty period our catnapper recliner stopped working. Happily we reported this to the seller of the chair thinking being still under warranty there would be a minimal expense to us. It was diagnosed as requiring both a replacement actuator AND a wand control - apparently both have broken at the same time. We have been advised only the actuator is covered, the cost of shipping of the actuator - from the manufacturer in the US to us in Canada - which is not covered - we have been told by the seller of the chair is $150 alone!

On top of this we do have to pay for a service call, a replacement wand all adding up - before 13% tax in Ont Canada, to $400 to have our "warrantied" item fixed. I look at the Catnapper brochure - motto reads "Designed for comfort... Made to Last", I question the made to last part, in less than 3 years it has significant mechanical issues. Search Youtube/Google for all the "how to fix" your catnapper - this tells you something right there when videos show over and over again all the mechanical issues that develop with this product and how to fix them yourself as the cost of repairs, even via warranty, is prohibitive. **AVOID CATNAPPER PRODUCTS **

According to the information you provided on our web portal the chair is over 3 years old. Please understand we cannot account for the pricing you were provided through your dealer. Also understand we do not manufacture the electrical parts, these are provided by a supplier. As with anything electrical the life expectancy varies. We have had people who had motors last 10 years or as little as 2 years, it varies. The warranty for motors is only 3 years, however shipping & handling for any part is only covered 1 year from date of purchase. This information as it relates to shipping & handling as well as service is provided on the warranty card in the 1st paragraph. The armrest was loose. Goldsteins repairman came out and found that the entire armrest had been broken (made of OSB). This item was replaced. Within another 2 months, the matching sofa recliner motor assembly was broken. Repairman came out again to confirm. Repairman ordered a new motor assembly which took 6 weeks to come in. When he opened the box to repair, the motor was cracked. I was told that it would be another 6 weeks and I am still waiting.

I asked the repairman to write a full report as I have no confidence in the furniture or company. I requested to return the furniture for a refund/the opportunity to pick another product. I was told that would be Jackson's decision. Last I talked to Goldsteins 2 weeks ago, they are still waiting on the part. I asked about the return, and they stated that they placed my request and have not heard back. I am disgusted with the manufacture as well as the store I bought it from. I asked for the return in the fall and have played their game. Soon I will be contacting an attorney as this has gone on long enough. Also springs in the comfort coil cushions are breaking and creating large lumps. Finally, the entire center support has fallen out of the back and the back has sunk in all the way to the wall.

The chain store said they will replace one cushion and try to staple the center brace back into the back. In my humble opinion avoid any recliners or other products from Catnapper also known as Jackson Catnapper. I bought 2 and one needed minor service. My suggestion is that you read the entire warranty very carefully. Jackson Catnapper told me on the phone the retailer where I bought the recliners is responsible for year one of the warranty. The Exchange said they are a distribution center and not involved in warranties. But Exchange did say they would let me return the chairs for replacements if within 30 days. So in effect the warranty is good for 30 days thanks to Military Exchange with neither the Exchange or Jackson Catnapper covering the remaining 11 months of year one. But read Catnapper's warranty. It's a long one that covers parts but not labor using the repairman of your choice. And it's parts only. You cover the labor.

Getting warranty service beyond 30 days apparently isn't going to happen for me. Parts are not covered by a lifetime warranty... the frame is. The frame won't break I would say. I got involved email chatting with Jason of Catnappers (phone clerk). He says year 1 is not their problem. Exchange says the same... it's not their responsibility. Exchange says they will pick up the recliners and give me a refund. Bless the Exchange's hearts but waiting for the delivery people is like waiting for the cable guy. I probably don't want to stay home all day waiting for the same freight company to pick them up then wait at home waiting for them to come back weeks later with the non Catnapper replacements.

Read the warranty if you have your heart set on Catnapper. It's a weak warranty that Catnapper will not stand behind. I donated my 2 old worn out recliners. I guess I can move my sofa in front of the TV while my recliners go back and new something else gets shipped. Read the warranty. I would have passed if I knew I was going through all this. I asked for advice from Catnapper on how I can correct the issue myself but they don't disclose that kind of info to the public. No, I do not recommend this product or company.

I was told I had to pay an outside company $200.00 to have the piece repaired. They brought the wrong side, charged me $200.00 then was told I had to get another piece for the other side, 200.00 more!

I was away for a few months, come back and the same problem on the seat! I believe this was defective leather from the beginning. How could Catnapper not have any kind of guarantee at all on quality of leather? I live alone. There is no excuse for such poor quality of leather. This will cost me total to repair the cheap leather almost the cost that I paid for it (989.10). I don’t know what to do but Catnapper should be ashamed! Then I googled for a 1800 number. I found one and called 4 different times and left a detailed message each and every time. GUESS WHAT? NO RESPONSE. My last resort was to write them a letter with my problem, I left them my email address, my phone number (home and cell), and my address. I went a step further and sent it certified. I paid for a signature stating they received my problem. GUESS WHAT, no response. I love the Catnapper recliner but this will be my last one I purchase. Jackson Furniture Industries is a very nice store. I like the decor and I really enjoy how pretty it is. I like the rustic look that it has and it definitely helps me want to buy more furniture. But I didn't have a very nice experience with them. The ladies who work there are nice but the cashiers/salesmen are rather rude and I really don't like them. My problem is how they treated me and my family. It also seemed as if they were trying to rip me off. They didn't accept my coupons that did validate with the furniture I wanted. They should get better people and change the cashiers or salesmen.

I really recommend this brand, I can include that in my parents' house they use and they have a lot of antiquity and they are still in perfect condition. My furniture is still in perfect condition and it is very easy to clean, which makes this brand an excellent option to buy furniture. I feel totally comfortable with them. It looked good temporarily and again faded badly. This happened in multiple places. I called Boscov's again and was given the name/number of “repair” guy to get it fixed again. He never returned my call. The quality of this chair is awful! Cry comfortable by shoddy workmanship! I’m left with trying to figure out how to fix the stain that looks SO bad, these chairs look like something I picked up off of the curb! I’d never recommend Catnapper and not entirely happy with Boscov's lack of customer care.

I am writing this review to let Catnapper know how horrible they are. They truly are a bottom line, zero customer service business. We have had a leather sectional. Since we bought this, it has flaked and continues to flake even though we have had numerous fabric repairs, that we have had to pay for. After this last time, I reached out to Catnapper because our dealer was out of business. I asked for either replacement furniture or payment to help settle this. They replied with coldness. They did not offer us anything, meet us 1/2 way or do anything to stand behind their product. I only have one question for Catnapper that I would love them to answer: Why? Why not help a customer and stand behind your product? Your motto is "Your comfort is our priority." If this was the case you would work to resolve any issue.

Updated on 02/21/2018: I was glad that Jackson reached out, however, they again, reached out in a cold hearted way. Their response is below. The funny thing is, the product failed within the year warranty and we were offered solutions, such as repairing the fabric, but we had to pay for it. Now this issue continues to happen and Rothman is out of business. We are requesting that Jackson Furniture repair the furniture one last time. I believe this is a reasonable solution. Below is their response. As you all can see, no solutions or help offered, just bottom line.

"Tim, I have talked with management. We will not be assisting you any further. We have answered you complaint multiple times as you state through the BBB, emails and now Consumer Affairs. Each time it has been with the same response. We do not assist Rothman’s customers, we will not be covering anything, at over 4 years old you are no longer covered under any type of warranty for service, labor, fabric parts etc….. Rothman’s handle their consumers as long as they were within the warranty terms. In your case even if Rothman’s was still in business they wouldn’t cover these issues. I have answered your concerns and your questions."

I like the fact that their furniture designs are designed in a cool and creative band matter, and some of their products are rare items that you can only find within this company. I also love that their products are extremely durable and you can rely on them to last for years. However, sometimes some products or product styles on the higher quality types of furniture that I usually search for are not always in stock and are sold out. The manufacture's warranty only covers fabric 12 months with a few exceptions made if less than 2 years from date of purchase. Your comments clearly state 2013 as date of purchase which puts you out of any type of warranty coverage for service and parts. If you wish to have repairs please contact a repair/upholster in your area for assistance. Once they assess they can contact us with the list of parts and we will provide them with pricing.

I purchased a Catnapper Recliner on 18 October 2017, for the express purpose - that I was having extensive Rotator-Cuff Tendon surgery, and I knew I would be unable to sleep flat on my bed. I needed something I could sleep-on, in an inclined position during post-surgical recovery. Purchased through Unclaimed Freight, in Fort Worth TX after taxes & delivery I paid >$1200 for the chair. Upon delivery I'd noticed that the seam on the seat was nearly burst and that it somehow wasn't stuffed correctly or perhaps even not constructed properly. It visibly leaned awkwardly down and to the right (looking straight at it). This, within 2-days of my surgery, I had no time to pursue immediate return/replacement communications with the store of-purchase. I live alone, so I had no one to assist me with the situation in the meanwhile.

It was all I could do to simply get through the day for 6 long weeks. Let alone try to contact the store to deal with customer service communications. After 6 weeks of sitting/sleeping on this chair, I was utterly and completely dissatisfied with the chair: The bottom cushion is improperly installed - it is visibly off-center to the right from front to back. The arm cushions are not of equal size nor are they stuffed equally. There is a hole in the fabric on the footrest where they missed a staple. The back of the chair... for lack of a better term, is an abortion! It is installed incorrectly - it visibly tilts and leans down and to one side. The left side of the back is visibly stuffed far better than the right (nearly no stuffing at the bottom of this side).

The 'center' of the seat-bottom is visibly misaligned to the 'center' of the back. When reclined the seat bottom and back separate so much that I would literally fall-in the 'hole' it created. The misalignment of the back to front caused me to ease into the under-stuffed side of the chair and the large gap created when reclined. All this while having to rest/sleep with an arm brace after having shoulder surgery. This chair did not provide the comfort I'd expected it would for the price I'd paid for it. Period.

After 6 weeks of slow surgical recovery, I was finally physically strong enough to go back to the store to contact their customer service process to express my displeasure and request either a refund or replacement. They put me in touch with their Customer Service Rep (Shelly). Shelly scheduled a 'repairman' to come take a look at the chair and assess the extent of any 'repairs' necessary. The repairman did come to my house and examined the chair thoroughly. He turned it upside-down to examine the internal mechanics. He did confirm that the internal frame is misaligned and that the chair has not been stuffed properly. He also confirmed the seam on the bottom seat is nearly splitting. He took several photos as well of the chair.

Here's where my problem begins. I do not feel that I should accept repairing a brand-new chair that I paid >$1200 for. The quality of workmanship of this chair is utterly remiss and its mere sales borders on fraudulent for the price paid. When Shelly with Unclaimed Freight last spoke with me, she was going to contact the Customer Service at Jackson Furniture on my behalf to investigate any Warranty process. That was well over a week ago - I have not heard back from her. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt in that it’s the holidays...

However, judging from the reviews and comments I've read online, regarding Jackson Furniture, their products, and their customer service, I'm not at-all hopeful of getting this issue resolved in an acceptable manner. I've also read some reviews hinting to class action lawsuits - if this is so, I'd surely like to include my complaint with the rest of the public at large that's invested rather large amounts of their money in this poor quality furniture. Had I spent the time to look up reviews of this chair I surely would-not have purchased it.

I cannot sit in the chair any longer - it leaves bruises on me due to the misalignment and improper stuffing of the back/bottom cushions. I'm still awaiting contact back from Unclaimed Freight Customer Service to see if refund or replacement can be provided under some manner of Warranty, otherwise at-least schedule the repairman to implement the repairs necessary that the repairman confirmed was needed. It's unimaginable that I should have to have a brand-new chair (that I paid >$1200) REPAIRED at all and not replaced or even refunded.

I'm beginning to think I need to simply call the Salvation Army and have this awful chair removed from my house and count my losses. I surely can't sell it, given the visibly poor shape it is currently in. Not like they likely care, but I sure won't purchase furniture from Jackson nor Unclaimed Freight again. If I could select '0' stars, I would. Buyer beware!

Purchased a sofa recliner and love seat for a good amount of money. Less than a year after the purchase the material, fake leather started to peel and to this day is still peeling and looks awful. I as a consumer have never been so disappointed on any product I ever purchased. Shame on every one of you that run that business.

I rated this product one star only because zero stars weren’t allowed. How disheartening that this furniture, that was advertised as leather and sold at real leather prices, began to peel. Everywhere. We bought the extended warranty on both the couch and loveseat but after reading the fine print we find this peeling to not be covered. I am extremely disappointed in this purchase and this company for putting out such a product. I do not recommend this company or this product at all.

To the person or persons who work on the LEFT side of the power-reclining sofa's: you need to be reprimanded and fired!!! I was judging the craftsmanship of our couches by the high cost of the furniture!!! We paid right around $6000.00 dollars for this garbage!!! I should have sent it back when I had the chance while it was within warranty!!! The left sides of both my couches are just made wrong & are not stuffed enough! My husband & I sit on the console. We bought the matching sofa for our guests. The furniture store that I ordered the 2 couches from sent out a guy to add stuffing to my side of the console well within warranty. And a little while after that 1st time of "restuffing" at my house, I told the furniture store, again, about my needing more stuffing on my side.

And we waited on someone to come out to our house, AGAIN. The repairman eventually showed up about a week before our warranty ran-out on our couches. But never got around to stuffing my side of the console again, because by this time I really checked-out the sofa's!!! (Which I should have done when we first got them!). SO NOW WE ARE STUCK WITH 2 PIECES OF GARBAGE JUST BECAUSE OUR WARRANTY RAN OUT!!! So everyone, if you see the name CATNAPPER run the other direction!!! The couches "look" great, but they are not made right or stuffed enough!!! Double check every inch of this furniture. Or better yet, play it safe and just don't get any of it!!! Look other places, especially away from small towns.

In March of 2015, my husband and I purchased a Jackson Furniture Bonded Leather Sleeper Sofa. We have enjoyed this sofa, up until very recently. The leather is beginning to peel. I called customer service to see if there was any manufacturer's warranty on the sofa, and while there was, it was only for 1 year. We did purchase the Guardsman Leather Care, but the store tells me that this would be considered normal wear and tear, and would not be something they would cover. Previously, we had purchased a sofa and loveseat (also probably bonded leather and vinyl) from Big Lots, and had it for 10 years with no peeling, scratches, or any other kind of "wear and tear" damage. I guess next time I'll go to Big Lots.

I bought the Jackson Brantley love seat and couch in January 2015 from Ford’s Furniture in Bowling Green Kentucky. I fell in love with the set and was told it was a popular set and would hold up well. I was told it had a 5 year frame warranty and I bought an extended warranty. Last month I noticed that wood was trying to poke out the back of both my couch and love seat.

I called the store I bought it from and was told only parts were covered not Labor. Needless to say I just had to pay $250 for someone to come in and reinforce the whole set because the staples they used in production didn’t hold. But tonight, while sitting in my couch I have noticed it beginning to peel around the seams. I paid well over $1700 for both pieces and now it’s falling apart after not even 3 years! Of course the furniture store tells me it’s not their problem, it’s a manufacture problem! I am disgusted that I now have so much money invested in this only to put throw blankets over everything because it looks horrible. I have called and left several messages with Jackson and no response! I just want my couch fixed!

My husband and I purchased a Catnapper in 2016. It worked fine for one day. On the second day I was stuck in the chair due to the feet not wanting go back down. After crawling out of it we loaded it up (as it was) and took it back to the store. We got it back 4 weeks later with what was suppose to be a new frame. Two days later it was doing the same thing. The only way to get the feet to go down was to slide your body forward close to the end of the seat and struggle with the handle. This makes the chair raise up in the air as you force the foot rest down. It’s only good if you want to sit in it and feel like you’re sitting in a reclined airline seat. Very disappointed.

    Barb,

From you message it sounds as though you are still in warranty through the dealer. Please contact the dealer for further assistance, as they carry the warranty for the first year. This is something you will need to get taken care of before your 1 year service warranty runs out. This is handled through the dealer unless purchased "AS IS" going out of business, clearance or floor sample none of which carry any warranty. I hope this answers your questions and concerns.

I put 4 stars but really I'm being a bit cautious, need to see how well it holds up for the next year or 2 as it's so new right now. I think I need to leave it at 4 just in case and come back after some time with it. Either to raise it to 5 (which if it holds up is def a 5'er!), or lower it if it deserves to be lowered by then. I'll be back, one way or the other to raise or lower the 4 stars, along with my personal reasoning why. But until then, I love this new couch so far, a lot!

I bought this Jackson couch yesterday. Was 999 for the couch alone if you don't buy the full couch/love-seat set, for like 1700. But they lowered it from 999 to 750 for us, also gave free delivery. It def feels way more comfortable than a 4 or 500 dollar couch! It does seem like a thousand dollar couch and I'm 52, been through a lot of furniture over the decades. It looks ex too! Because they were able to separate it from the set I was able to pair it up with my loveseat that was still good from the couch/loveseat set I bought 10 years ago for 2000. Now, after 10 years, that couch has worn to where it's time for a new one but the loveseat is still fine. This Jackson couch matches it really well so I didn't have to buy an entire set this time. I def liked being able to do that, a lot! Saves a lot of money.

This sofa/couch (whatever you call them), is very impressive so far. Def worth the money they charge for this Jackson model, and if it holds up, I'll make sure to come back to update. But, if it doesn't hold up, has sagging or worn out cushions or springs anytime soon, or any other weird stuff going on with it, I'll be back to update that as well. WITH PICS. But as of right now (12-7-17), I love the comfort of this couch a LOT! Liked the price they charged and the cherry on top is the real nice looks of it! It has a great look to it on top of everything else. I'm really happy right now, hope it stays that way. Thanks Jackson Furniture!

Oh, and I found out it's made in America when I came on here to leave review, and based on lots of reviews here, I saw that they actually take care of issues after the sale, should I have any! Man, the more I think about it and with all the furniture I looked at everywhere prior to buying this one, the more I'm thrilled to have found this store in my town that sells Jackson along with all the other brands they sell here, like Ashley and others. Feel really good right now.

Within 6 months the frame on one of them wouldn't let the footrest go down completely and the controller on the other one did not perform the heat and massage functions. A serviceman was sent from Pittsburgh and he ordered a new controller and new frame for the footrest. The frame arrived but the controller did not. (June 2017) He had to re-order it; they sent the wrong one; he re-ordered again (Aug. 2017). It is now December 2017 and we have heard nothing. I tried calling and could only get a recording that said my call would be returned in 48 hours. I have called twice and no response.

My husband and I bought a couch, loveseat, and chair by Catnapper in November of 2015. There was a defect in the fabric... Strange spotting on pieces. Your Home (store name) was great. They took the furniture back and allowed us to pick another set. We liked the look and feel of Catnapper so we picked another style since the original set we purchased was no longer available.

Our second set was ordered on July 21, 2016. I'm not sure when it was delivered. We had to wait for everything to come in. At first, we loved the new set, but a small tear appeared on the loveseat where my husband sits each day. It has grown larger in size... It is from simple wear and tear. The fabric on the arm of this same piece of furniture is fraying at the seam. It didn't happen right away. It was into the spring of 2017 when I noticed the problem. This shouldn't be happening. The furniture was purchased in July of 2016. I wrote them a letter on 9/11/17 asking for help since the store where I bought the furniture is out of business. In that same letter, I asked for assistance with purchasing "parts" to replace the arm of my couch where my dog did damage. I completely expected to pay for the parts where my dog did the damage.

I sent a letter detailing all of this information. I also sent pictures showing the damage and a copy of my invoice. I did receive a phone call from Vicki at Catnapper on 9/26/17. She simply stated that the parts for my couch were no longer available and wished me a good day! What? There was essentially nothing they would do for me... Just wish me luck! We spent approximately $2600 on the set (which included the extended warranty). I called back to speak with Vicki, but she was out. I did leave a message but did not ask for a reply. I intended to fight a little bit harder for some help, but my job keeps me busy. I don't have time to "fight" for help and don't feel that I should have to. This is where I would expect customer service to kick in and offer me, the customer, some service.

I never purchased Catnapper furniture before this. I never will do it again. It's unfortunate because I love the look of the furniture. I expected some type of help. I wasn't far beyond my one year warranty when I wrote the letter to Catnapper. I wasn't quite sure who to write to for help since the store (Your Home) where I purchased the furniture went out of business.

I am a school administrator. I entertain often. I was so proud to show off my new furniture when we got it. My MANY colleagues and relatives were shocked when they saw the condition of our rather new furniture. They were even more stunned that the company offered no assistance. I want to caution others about the fact that Jackson Furniture Industries is NOT helpful to the consumer. They were polite but not at all helpful. I feel I would have had more support from the store where I bought the furniture if they were still in business.

    Kristen,

While I understand your feelings of being dismissed this wasn't the intent. When a fabric is discontinued this isn't the Customer Service Representatives call they can only provide you with the information regarding whether fabric is available or not. With this said I will be happy to double check the style and fabric for availability, but I will need for you to provide this information. Please provide the style number as well as the fabric codes for your furniture and I will check to see if fabric is available.

On or around 9-7-2017 we called the furniture store and told them that we were having problems with the seat "bunching" up. Finally got a serviceman to come out to replace the seat cushion on 10-11. Not a week later the seat started doing the same thing. Called the furniture store again and now we are waiting for a call that they got in touch with the Catnapper rep. Said they e-mailed 2 or 3 times but no answer. Do you all not have a phone? With this kind of service and this kind of product we will never buy another Catnapper again.

My husband and I purchased a living room set (couch, loveseat and large chair) less than 5 years ago. It has very quickly started to crack, flake and peel. We had bought this set when we moved into our home and were very excited as new homeowners. It's a huge disappointment to already need new furniture due to the level of low quality we unknowingly purchased. It's frustrating when you find pieces of your couch on your toddler's hands, in your dryer, on the floor and on your own clothes. We paid a lot of money for this set and unfortunately do not have money to replace it. Would love to know what can be done about this.

    Sandy,

Please provide the serial number off the furniture. On Catnapper pieces the serial number is located under the footrest on a white sticker. This is a 7 digit number and contains only numbers. Please provide the original bill of sale as well as the dealers name you purchased through. You can send this information to customerservice@jacksonfurnind.com

Bought a sectional couch from Jackson Furniture that was delivered in August of this year. First of all it was missing a piece of fabric on the side of the couch (THANKFULLY that was covered under warranty). Secondly, when the tech came out to look at it, I told him about the giant dip in my armrest that it came with too; he said "Yeah that manufacturer does not put a piece of wood the entire distance of the armrest. They stop it and just fill the rest in with cardboard" which apparently translates into NOT covered by insurance and is considered normal wear and tear. I already had to order new cushions too because of "wear and tear"... I've been using the couch for 2 months and had issues with it since day one. This couch is terrible.

We purchased the Catnapper Power Sofa Recliner and 2 Catnapper Recliners close to 3 years ago. 1 chair has a spring that has come undone under the chair which we have only sat in a couple of times. The sofa has already had to be filled in with cushion by their consultant once, had to replace the power recliner portion of the left side, and is sagging on the left side so the couch looks lopsided and also feels like it is breaking in half when the recliner is used. The leather is peeling both where you sit and behind your back on the chair which didn't happen with the last sofa we had until about 8 years of use. Definitely not happy with this product and won't make the mistake of buying another one unless they are willing to fix their poorly crafted furniture we currently have.

These are 2 years old. 2 people in the household, I am very dissatisfied with this furniture. Talked to the salesperson about this. Now she tells me that this bonded leather is very bad for doing this. Thought I was getting better furniture. Should have saved my money for Big Lots Furniture. I think this is false advertising for the company that sells it and Jackson that makes it. Customers should be told this is a problem. I have read other stories on here about people having same problem. Also took about 5 times to get a couch from this company that did not have place on the leather. I am not going to stay quiet about this problem. People have a right to expect reliability for our money. That saying about getting what you pay for is not true this time.
