Started out ordering our kitchen in two orders that were to be delivered. They delivered drawers, shelves and doors for base cabinets that were back ordered. We went to the store to pick up cabinets that were still back ordered, because they weren’t available for delivery. They order a lot of extra parts and they ordered the wrong drawers for our cook top cabinet. The cabinet needed short drawers for ventilation and they assured us they would order it that way, but didn’t. Two trips to get the correct drawers and return the incorrect one (after assembling and finding they were the wrong size, and then disassembling so I could fit them in the car). I have spent close to 12 hours on the phone, mostly on hold, trying to resolve issues about wrong cabinets to non functioning cooktop. The cook top instructions had me call Electrolux for issues, and it took 60 minutes to determine that I needed to talk to IKEA, but they transferred me.

After 40 minutes on hold, I was disconnected. Called back, on hold for 20 minutes, 30 minutes for them to determine that they would send me a new cooktop, pick up the old one. The day the cooktop was slated to arrive, no cooktop showed. Called ikea, and after 20 minutes got a coworker who explained that my order was cancelled. St. Louis did have a few cooktops and we packed this huge cooktop in the car and drove top ikea and swapped it out. It is 10 weeks since we initiated our orders, and we are still waiting on 3 Wall cabinets, which Ike’s had, just not in a local store, and they won’t ship them to me from the other locations. In store pick up is hot and cold.

We picked up 3 cabinets at one visit that they put on 2 orders. They brought the first one out after about 10 minutes. 45 minutes later I asked for a supervisor to explain why they fulfilled 6 other customers' orders while mine was still waiting. We watched him grab out stuff off the shelf, so they were right there. No explanation no nothing. No offers to remedy the situations and no offer to compensate me for my time effort and trouble.

I purchase a basic bed and a night stand with the assembly. I received an offer from Task for 55 $ for 1hour and half of work. The guy showed up and he took 2 hours only to install the bed. I had to send him away and install the nightstand bymyself. They charged me $71. This is a scam. Ikea is the worst. Awful.

If I could give a negative star review I would! I placed an online order a week ago for three new beds for my children who are about to move into our new house. IKEA specifically told me my delivery date would be Sunday of this weekend between 12 and 4 PM. I scheduled someone to come in and put the beds together for me based on the time that they would be delivered and Sunday come 330 when no beds had arrived I called them. After holding for over 25 minutes I finally got hold of someone who said that from what they could see my order never made it to the delivery company and that it would be delivered on Tuesday instead. Not only was I frustrated about the fact that, obviously IKEA knew earlier that day that my order did not make it to the delivery company and nobody notified me but it took my call at the last minute to find out that I wasn’t going to get it until days later.

Luckily, the person who was scheduled to build the beds was available to come later on Wednesday to make the beds before my children arrive. But to make things even worse, when I got home today, expecting to see my delivery at my doorstep again was not delivered as expected. I held for another 20 minutes to talk to somebody who told me the exact same thing that my delivery never made it to the delivery company, and that now it will be delivered on Thursday. The day before my children arrive.

I have absolutely no faith in IKEA right now as they told me the same thing on Sunday about my Tuesday delivery. I just pray to God that they arrive as scheduled so that I will have beds for my children to sleep in when they arrive home. I will NEVER order from IKEA again. This has been one of the most stressful experiences of my life! And sadly, I don’t even know whether this whole circumstance is over or not. As I’m now waiting and holding my breathe for two more days. And to make it even worse, I have requested a supervisor to speak to and both times was told that someone would call me back and nobody has. I am so disappointed in their company right now and I would discourage anyone from dealing with online ordering from IKEA!!!

Ordered a new pantry cabinet for my kitchen. Was told that the only day they could deliver was Sunday. Well weird but ok. You have to wait until the day before the delivery to get a text and they'll give you a 3 hour window. So I get my window of 9:00 - 1:00. Sitting in my condo, ready at 9:00 am...waiting....waiting....waiting. At about 12:30 a call is made. My brother actually made the call because he was the one who ordered this for me and had all the info. After being on hold for at least 30 min, someone finally answers and looks up the delivery. "Oh, it's not getting delivered today and you'll have to call and reschedule." WTH?!!? IKEA, you told us the specific day and time frame this delivery was going to occur and then canceled it??? No notice given, no reason for it. I've sat here for 5 1/2 hours now waiting for a delivery that was apparently never going to happen today. And now I'll have to do this again. Beyond angry.

I find completely unprofessional that that Ikea cancelled my order after the delivery window was closed instead of cancelling it after I placed the order if there were any issues. They gave no justification as of why they cancelled my order. I counted with the delivery as I had people coming over my house and was left without the furniture I counted with.

After designing a kitchen, sorting what was or wasn't available and talking to a helpful representative, I placed an order for all new kitchen cabinets in December 21, 2023. I was told 4 cabinets were temporarily out of stock. I placed the order believing "temporary" to be a week or two behind the bulk of the order. I seriously regret that decision. The part of the order in stock was promptly delivered. After that I heard nothing. I called today, 23 January 2024. I learned that apparently no one at Ikea cares once some part of an order is shipped, there is no follow up at all, nothing. After over 3 hours on the phone and via "chat" I have learned that Ikea can't tell me when, if ever, my remaining cabinets will ever come. The 4th person I talked to finally said she had an approximate date; "sometime like February 14th or after". I don't have a usable kitchen Ikea. They just don't care.

Today is January 22, 2024. I have been TRYING to return a very large item to IKEA. The item was shipped to me in December 2023. I never opened it. I decided I didn't want it for reason that are personal. I called IKEA and set up a pickup of the item on January 5, 2024. No one ever arrived to pick up the item. I called IKEA and set up another pickup and no one arrived. I called T-Force Enterprises who is the third-party company IKEA uses to deliver and pick up furniture to make sure they come this time. T-Force assured me that they will pick up on January 8. They never arrived. I called IKEA to set up another pickup. IKEA set a pickup for January 10. I called T-Force to make sure they got the memo. T-Force said they will pick up the item, rest assured. January 10 comes and goes and there was no pickup. Round and round we go on this pickup thing for a total of 5 times.

Last week I called T-Force and they said, "Oh, we don't do pickups for IKEA anymore." I called IKEA to tell them what T-Force told me about not doing pickups and the IKEA rep ignored me, stating that that is not true, and set up another pickup which of course never happened. I called T-Force last Friday and they again told me, "We no longer do pickups for IKEA." My son called IKEA on Friday and was told by an IKEA rep, "I am so sorry. Please simply keep the item and we will give you a refund." When my son told the rep we don't want to keep the item and we need it out of our condo, the rep set up yet another pickup for today, January 22, 2024, with T-Force after he just told her that T-Force said they don't do pickups anymore." Well, here we are on January 22, 2024 and still no pickup. I cannot get this HUGE and VERY HEAVY item out of my condo and I have not received my money back.

I am being held hostage by a company that is ignoring me all the while I am stuck having to store their item at a cost of $150 to me. I feel as if I am in the TWILIGHT ZONE! I called IKEA today and spoke to Karen who apologized to me but she did say that IKEA does in fact work with T-Force And so I asked her to do a three-way call with me and T-Force so she can hear it for herself as I listen in. Karen did the three-way call and voila! The T-Force rep said, "We do not do pickups for IKEA anymore." Karen asked when they stopped doing pickups and they said January 19, 2024, WHICH WAS A LIE because they told me last we they stopped on December 19, 2024, and if they did stop on January 19, 2024, then WHY DIDN'T THEY PICK UP MY ITEM ON January 5, 8, 10, 13? All I want is what was promised to me, that being, the item taken out of my home and my money back. How hard is this? Needless to say, I will not shop at IKEA anymore. Buyers Beware!

He knew I had limited time, so he helped with the entire process and showed me how to pay right there so I could skip the other check out line and head directly to pick up. Today, 11/24/2023, at approximately 12:30pm at the Ikea in Tempe, AZ I was systematically refused service for insisting the checkout assistant follow Arizona Administrative Code ("A.A.C.") R3-7-402(A)(6). After scanning all our items at the self-checkout, a candle holder did not have a upc code so we called over the checkout assistant- The bigger burly guy working the self-check-out closest to the escalators and main exit. He entered the candle holder number into his tablet and stated the price for the black one was $6.99. The candle holder we were trying to purchase was grey and was posted at $4.99. The clerk refused to fix the price. I asked if he would send an associate to confirm the price as mandated by R3-7-402(A)(6) and he refused. He refused to confirm the price using any store resource other than his tablet and then only to enter the price of the black candle holder. By now the line had swelled and he said we would have to run all the way back and take a picture.

I quickly shared with him R3-7-402(A)(6) and explained that I was not required to waste any more of my time to “prove” the listed price. He refused to check the price again and again. Finally, after around 15 minutes I asked for a manager. The manager entered the candle holder and the price was, as stated $4.99. After 15 minutes of calling us liars in front of the whole self-checkout line and refusing to check the price, the clerk not only refused to apologize, but then refused to allow us to pay. He refused to allow us to purchase the items we had already scanned stating that he must conduct a “random security check” of our scanned items. I stated “This is retaliation for insisting you honor R3-7-402(A)(6) isn’t it.” The clerk just smiled and laughed. I stated I would not be subject to any further humiliation. I informed him that I was a 100% disabled veteran and that his harassment, refusal of service, and public humiliation was triggering my PTSD and that I could not endure any further harassment.

He simply refused to allow us to purchase the items unless we allowed him to subject us to further humiliation stating for “security purposes” he couldn’t accept payment until he rescanned every item in our cart. As he had already subjected us to 15 minutes of accusations, harassment, refusals to assist or look up the price, and public humiliation and completely ignored my ADA request for my disability, we abandoned the cart and left without being able to purchase our items. As a combat veteran of Iraq and a 100% disabled veteran I would like to ask why I was subjected to this clear retaliation for asking the store clerk to honor R3-7-402(A)(6). I would like to know why a disabled veteran who identified his disability was refused service unless they agreed to be subjected to further humiliation and harassment? We are filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as the Attorney General’s office of Arizona.

Ikea for one has terrible products. They are not sturdy and they are made from cheap material. When they deliver to your address they give you a 12 hour window of delivery when you order. However they never call you the night before like they say they will giving an estimated time of arrival. I ordered a dresser and I had to return it. For both delivery and pick up they did not give me a courtesy call like they claim they will. Instead they called me when they arrived. Save your money and get pre-built furniture instead of this garbage.

I don't understand how this company can still do business in USA with this attitude. Every year it tries to become a more disgraceful place to be a company. I bought a Hemnes dresser. One piece was a direct manufacturing defect. Another piece was broken. I called IKEA and told them to take it back and bring me a new one. Ikea said that it can't go into the house and go up 3 floors, so insert them one by one and bring them down. I said I couldn't do that. I said I could fix these broken pieces and I could use it that way. So I said at least give me a discount, but they wouldn't do that either. The advice Ikea gave me was to find a strong man and take the pieces down one by one. I have bought many of my furniture, including the kitchen in my house, but I have never seen such a terrible customer service in my life. I hope you will leave the USA market with your ridiculous advice as soon as possible.

I am doing a kitchen remodel with IKEA cabinets and appliances and it has been the most stressful, time consuming, and horrible customer service experience that I can remember. They have charged me over $1500 for items they didn't send from my original order that were ALREADY PAID FOR and sent several items more than once and charged me for each of them as well.

I started by designing the kitchen with someone online. DO NOT DO THIS. I thankfully decided I should go in to check on everything. When I went in the person I worked with at the East Palo Alto store in Northern California explained that so much was wrong with the design that she had to go through it all to correct the dimensions and replace and change items that were ordered.

I was grateful very for her time and after several hours together and a payment for all of the items on my shopping list except for 9 items that were placed on a waitlist I thought I was finished. BEWARE, your waitlist items are for you to find. I had to call over and over again to try and locate them. I did that and after two weeks was finally told that two of the items were no longer made by IKEA and that a replacement SHOULD be coming in 2024.

They sold me this kitchen design in early September. That meant I couldn't finish my cabinets. I searched and found them at other stores, but they said their policy does not allow for transfers between stores. No one seemed to care that they sold me a kitchen plan that could not be completed. My original items for delivery were promised in 2 shipments, one on a Sat so I didn't miss another day of work. They were finally sent in different 5 deliveries that I had to be home for with a window of 24 hours each until they texted that morning with a 4-hour window.

I had to keep track of what was still missing and make endless calls that included hold times of over an hour each time just to be told they would be sent separately. When I finally thought I had all of the items, my cabinet guy went through them and made a list of what was still missing based on my original receipt. I called the kitchen resolutions dept, as instructed, and after 9 hours on the phone over several days begging to talk to a supervisor (one was never available) I cried and they sent me through to a very nice gentleman who had a woman named Amber call me back.

We spoke for 3.5 hours just that night as I explained what I had gone through. She said it was the worst customer service experience she had ever encountered and was so sorry. She said that she'd be happy to send the stuff over but indicated that I would have to pay for it again in order to get the items here asap (I had paid contractors doing nothing based on the precise schedule I was given by IKEA) but that Id be called within 24 hours and refunded for all of it right away. She gave me her extension and I thought I was finally through with the nightmare. I was so wrong. The endless stress and frustration continued and has gone on for about a month now.

I've tracked my calls with them and I'm up to 18.5 hours either explaining my case and relisting the items still missing as well as the ones they sent twice without my request and charged me for anyway. Each time I was promised that I would get a call within 24 to 48 hours. I have now been promised that eight times and laugh when they say it. No one has ever called.

When I tried to reach out to the helpful Amber to tell her I did not get my refund I was told over and over again that they can't call extensions from their customer service lines and no one should have told me that and that they had no idea who she was. I emailed her several times. She ghosted me. Never heard back.

In the meanwhile, I can't wrote to me and said they found my to cover panels that we're still missing and told me I had to buy a gift card and use that gift card to purchase them and just write them back with the information after I made the purchase. I spent another $129 in an effort to finish my project but my information went into the ether and I never heard back from anyone. I called to get refunded it was promised I would but never received a refund for that either.

When I called to ask them to at least come pick up the stuff they delivered that was NOT REQUESTED they asked that I pay $89 for the pick up process. I am at a loss. I have not received one dime in a refund. I have huge packages that won't fit in my car and no recourse whatsoever. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE. They are great at the outset but anything that requires customer service will result in hours of hold times, promises that never come to fruition and endless case and order numbers you're suppose to keep track of just to be told they'll call for the refund and never hear a thing. It might seem like the budget option but it is not. I'm so frustrated and upset and THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO. BEWARE!!

We decided to cancel a $24.00 dollar order, which we did, the same day of order because of a $6.00 shipping fee and we could do without the item. Regardless, the order arrived 2 days later. We called to return the item and learned it would cost $6.00 for the return. We were informed there was a 2hr window in which to cancel without incurring the return fee. They sent a return label for Fed Ex that didn't work at the on site counter. They sent a 2nd label that wouldn't download at the on site counter. After an unacceptable amount of drive and phone time we were told we needed to go to an actual authorized Fed Ex shipment center. The E-order cancellation policy should be very apparent from the start of the order process. Another consumer beware!!

They asked for the store number, the till number and wasted time with no offer to just send the hardware. We had IKEA do a complete kitchen remodel and that was the most frustrating experience. I like IKEA furniture and what we have has held up really well considering we have 4 kids (now grown). So, we drove the 2 hours to IKEA to look at what they had knowing we would need to have it delivered. We then tried to order it online but some pieces were not available...well on the item page they said they were available for delivery but when we tried to schedule it in the cart, they were listed as unavailable for delivery. So, I did a chat, and apparently, a piece from one of the items was not available so therefore no delivery. ??? So, we waited and a couple of weeks later, both items were available for delivery on the item page AND in the checkout. I made the purchase and got an e-mail that the order was being processed. What I missed was an e-mail that IKEA canceled the order stating that the bank declined payment. I contacted the bank and they didn't decline payment, IKEA did.

When I went to reorder, one of the items was no longer in stock. Three weeks later the items were again in stock, so I placed my order. However, I accidentally ordered a wrong item and had to jump on a chat to get that order canceled (they couldn't change it). He assured me that it was canceled and that I could go ahead and reorder the correct items. He also told me to clear my cache and cookies to prevent the credit card problem I experienced before. I did all those things and then contacted the credit card company (a different one than before) to make sure the charge was put through.

Woke up the next day to e-mails that, the order I had canceled had gone through and was preparing to ship, and that the order I had subsequently placed was declined and canceled. I got on another chat and re-canceled the order then called and spoke with a customer service representative who took my order and assured me that the credit card transaction has gone through. I have never had this much trouble ordering anything in my life. Worst IKEA experience I've ever had. The only reason we stuck with this furniture is because it has a slipcover that can be taken off, washed, and replaced when necessary.

I wish I read these reviews prior to choosing IKEA for my kitchen renovation. Their customer experience leaves something to be desired. It is absolutely awful. The kitchen planner allows you to do things that are not actually possible for IKEA to do and when you get to the check out portion you find out half your items are not available and they can’t give you an ETA on when to expect it. Which would be less annoying if they did not make you pay 140$ on delivery for each item as it becomes available. They won’t hold your items as they become available so they can send you the second half in one batch. They make the customer pay the consequences of their poor logistics. And then when you try to reason with them you’re met with a wall of this is our policy on all fronts.

I couldn’t even get to a manager because I was told they don’t have access to chat and they don’t take phone calls. One employee told me they’d submit my request and the manager would call me and I never got a call. They send you the wrong thing and when you call to get it organized they blame you for not knowing which item you need. If I’m the customer it’s not my job to know every single ikea item. My contractor said it would have been quicker and cheaper to go to Home Depot. I should have listened to him.

I complained but afterwards spent the next 2 weeks, over 2 dozen phone calls, emails and chats trying to get this furniture assembled. No supervisor was ever available at IKEA, Task Rabbit was a nightmare. And in the end I was told they just couldn’t assemble my furniture. So I’m taking everything back. I will NEVER EVER buy from IKEA again. Worst service I’ve ever had in my life.

IKEA promotes an offer of $25 off when you open up an IKEA credit card and make a first purchase of $25+. So I applied for the card many months ago and it took almost 2 months to receive it. I promptly made a $25+ purchase but still have not received the $25 off. I have called several times but the representatives seem to have no knowledge of this offer (which is on their website) and all basically giving me the run-around. So I will be cancelling this card and certainly would not recommend IKEA or their card! Don’t get taken in by their false offers!

Terrible experience. Terrible customer service. My son ordered a bedroom set for college that was to be delivered in two separate deliveries on Saturday August 5th. One arrived. Another was rescheduled for Sunday. They never showed. They later rescheduled for Friday. Again no call no show. My son reached out to them and they said all he was missing was the bed frame and he could pick that up at the store. I then called to inform them we were missing far more than the frame and we weren’t driving to pick up items we paid to have delivered. All we had was the night stands, two of three boxes for the dresser and bed rails. We were missing almost the entire bed and had a useless couple of boxes for a dresser.

Spent 30 minutes on the phone explaining what we needed. I was assured yet again that the items would be delivered. Didn’t show Saturday. Didn’t show Sunday. Called again and spent another hour on the phone to get a refund. Complete waste of time. Obviously their customer service members are completely clueless and just tell you what you want to hear. Finally, these morons wanted us to return the useless crap they had delivered in order to receive the refund. Really? More time out of my day for your ineptitude? Never order from these idiots.

I don't even know how this pathetic and sad excuse for a company is still in business. Once upon a time their designs were cute knock offs of other simple high end designs. Cheaply produced with no durability whatsoever but they looked nice enough to justify paying for it. Fast forward to the Covid pandemic and like every greedy corporation has done, prices are jacked up sky high and they keep blaming the pandemic for these outrageous costs even though we are past the initial emergency phase of the pandemic.

Customer service has always been trash but I hardly ever had to deal with it until I started purchasing from them online. Almost every single order was problematic starting with the shipping. If you order a fridge from them and glassware their incompetent staff members would find a way to throw the entire fridge in an oversized box and throw the glassware in there as well rolling around with no protection whatsoever and hand this over to the shipping company to deliver. Of course when you receive it some items are broken or at the least scratched and dinged up.

Ikea was always a poor excuse for a company and a disaster when it comes to aftercare regarding their brick and mortar product sales but they had the nerve to jump into the e-commerce aspect of selling and it has been a disastrous experience in my case. Almost every order was problematic, their customer abuse representatives are obnoxious rude and argumentative, most of them belong working in a fish market instead of dealing with frustrated customers.

On my 2nd to last order the shipping carrier left my very heavy package abandoned out in the open down 3 flights of stairs instead of delivering it to my door. Calling Ikea's customer abuse Department was quite an experience in which the customer abuse agent kept blaming me for fedex mishandling and failure to deliver my package. They insisted this was my problem not theirs as if I was the one who had a contract with fedex. The agent even went as far as saying 'you need to figure out why fedex keeps mis-delivering your packages'.

Of course I am a sucker for punishment so about a month later I placed an order for a clock, a filing cabinet and some other small items. Based on my past experience with their sloppy shipping practices, the heavy filing cabinet was thrown together as expected in a large box with the clock and other items banging around on its way to my destination. I received a broken clock, defective looking filing cabinet parts, bent metal with cracking and paint peeling everywhere. I called The customer abuse line and this time the rep was very pleasant in her conversation with me and promised to replace the broken clock and refund me for the filing cabinet. I requested the refund in the form of store credit so I could put it towards another purchase with the company. I also asked if I needed to pack the unit back up for them to retrieve it since I had started assembling it and paused the process once I realize there were some defective parts.

I was instructed to take photos of the defects and provide them via email so an assessment could be done to see if the item needed to be sent back or disposed of. After supplying the photos via email there was no confirmation email of a return being accepted, photos received...NOTHING. 3 weeks passed and I called them to inquire about my refund and was told that a refund was issued 5 days or so prior to me calling so I thanked the rep and went on my merry way. 3 more weeks passed and still no gift card arrived via email. I called them once again and this time a rep told me a refund was issued but it was back to my original form of payment.

I told him there was no refund received on my end and asked them for this information in writing and to provide some kind of confirmation and this is where things got really weird. The rep claimed this was impossible because the case was closed. He insisted he could provide no proof then put me on hold for almost a half an hr only to come back and tell me he had nothing. I asked to speak to a supervisor he said his supervisor insisted that he should refuse to transfer me to anyone higher up. I insisted on speaking to a manager and he once again put me on hold for about ten minutes then came back saying that he went ahead and canceled the original refund and issued another one but still could provide nothing in writing about the specifics of the refund. At this point I told him that I am going to hang up and call back to speak to someone else because I felt like I was getting the runaround and simply pure dishonesty. I attempted to call back and all I got was a message saying "You're call cannot be completed at this time".

So to sum it all up this crooked company shipped me a defective item, lied to me about refunding my money and after I called in to get down to the bottom of it I was continually lied to then they blocked my number from calling their 1888 customer abuse line while still holding my refund hostage. I have been shopping with them locally for over 20 years and I am officially done with them and a charge back will be filed for the defective product they sent me.

You may also return open products within 180 days, with your proof of purchase, for a full refund."

I purchased kitchen items December 5, 2022 and I was not satisfied with their quality after using them once or twice. The items returned were plates, utensils, jugs, and containers. I went to the local Ikea at Burbank, CA to return them on April 17, 2023 at approximately 5:30 pm. Please note that these items are well within the 180 days for open items per the Ikea policies. I had my receipt for quick return, the items were in excellent condition. However, the associate at the return area was giving us the hardest time after waiting a long time in the return line. Also, the manager (Dan) refused to take the return stating that these items were opened and they only accept unopened and unused items. Please note that the manager only glanced at the amount of items I returned, he did not check which items were used and which items were not used.

My time and money were wasted, not to mention feeling deceived because the Ikea employees do not adhere to the written policies. I have called the Ikea resolution team several time, and they have advised me to reach out to corporate Ikea. I contacted corporate Ikea only to received an automated general response stating:

"Thank you for contacting IKEA Corporate Relations. Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. At IKEA, we pride ourselves in our efforts to provide consistency throughout our entire organization, while being guided by the vision of providing a better life for the many people. As such, we reviewed and investigated this matter. According to our records and findings, the return decision in questions was valid as it was based on our policies and procedures. Our policy states the following: We do not accept returns on plants, cut fabric, customer countertops and as-is products."

The items to be returned were not plants, fabric, modified, dirty or damaged. Half of these items were not even used. I’m not sure what kind of "investigation" they have done, when they don’t even have the products with them to ensure what their employee said were to be true. It is all based on opinions of your employees. Utterly speechless. I am never shop at this business ever again. They are mislead and deceiving.

The drivers attempt to deliver another person's order. If I had not looked at the paperwork attached to the box, someone else would have been very unhappy about not getting their items. Delivery guys say, "Your stuff isn't in the truck. I don't know why they left it in our GPS to come to your home. I don't know why they did not contact you. Look at my handwritten note that says your item was missing and not put on the truck before we left the warehouse early in the morning. You need to call the store." No apologies, no thank you for catching our mistake. Hey, we live in a world where accountability seems to be lost on many people. I've accepted this. Moving on.

Call the 'store' - WAIT! You cannot actually contact the store! I call the 1-888.... number, go through the automated prompts, and finally get to talk with Charlene. She was mortified about the delivery mishap and that I did not receive any notification the delivery was going to not happen and that there was any issue. She transferred me to escalation, because she couldn't see anything on her end on the computer. She was delightful and really seemed to care about getting me the help I needed. She even insisted that I get a case number from the next person. That person was Brian. All he wanted to do was reschedule. He was resistant to giving me a case number as Charlene insisted that I ask for.

Brian had no details on why the delivery was delayed or missing. He only wanted to reschedule and call it good. I don't think Brian really is that invested in making sure my case got 'escalated'. I rescheduled, anyway and got my case number after becoming 'pushy'. Funny thing, during the lengthy phone call and hold times with Brian, I got notification from Ikea in the form of an email and text that I should call them because my delivery failed!

Fast forward one week to the new delivery time/date. I received that 4-hour window text the night before to confirm my order was on its way. WOO-HOO! It's coming. Being without our sofa for a week wasn't so bad. New delivery date morning is here, and I'm super excited, until for no reason in particular, I decided to check my email. There is an email from the delivery service that my order was delayed. At least they contacted me this time even if it wasn't a call or text (why did they need my phone number again?). No reason given or communication to even contact IKEA.

I contact IKEA and again go through the automated system and finally speak to Cynthia who makes me verify all my information again, and she tells me there is a note saying it is still scheduled for delivery on the same day and time. She transferred my call to Patrice in Resolutions. (Again, both women were delightful and patient.) I again confirm all my information, email, phone number, name, order number, case number, address... And she decides to reschedule my delivery as well. Wait a second, this feels a little like my conversation Brian a week ago. I asked Patrice if there is any way she can ensure the delivery will happen as scheduled and that the item I ordered is actually in stock because I looked up the website and it says it is. (I really was looking at it right then. What else do you do when you get put on hold so many times?)

Patrice explained to me that she was chatting (like a messenger app on the computer) with the delivery team. They were going to be able to deliver it on the date I needed. I asked her if she was sure the warehouse even had my item since the delivery team is a 3rd party company. Turns out Patrice cannot contact the warehouse or store the item is supposed to come from to ensure it's really in stock. WHAT???

I ended up canceling my order. If there is no way for the call center people to contact the warehouse people directly to ensure items are in stock, then the system is completely ineffective. Even better, the almost $1000 that they charged for my order and took out literally within seconds will take 7 - 14 days to be returned. The only guarantee I have so far is the handwritten case number she told me to take down over the phone. It sure would be nice to get an email confirmation that I had to cancel my order, and some sort of statement showing the money will be returned. Am I asking too much?

My wife is a fan of Ikea and has been on the odd shopping trip to Murcia so when she decided we needed new dining room furniture, that's where it came from. The table and chairs were quite good and the other unit was Havsta Combi Armario which is a white painted wood unit (2 piece with glass doors). I reluctantly had to agree it looked quite good.

However, after a few months brownish/yellowish marks started to appear all over and we couldn't figure out what it was. Seemed like some sort of reaction to sunlight (we had used nothing to clean it so couldn't have been that). I contacted them via Twitter and they were very helpful and responsive and immediately arranged replacements after seeing the photos (more bloody assembly). The replacement arrived slightly damaged but we accepted as no marks. But, 2 months later the marks started to appear again, some worse than before. I had already told them that I suspected it was something in the process, maybe a coating or glue to cover defects prior to painting.

Now, being pretty pissed off, I sent more photos and the explanation came back, as it's natural wood you have to expect this (resin coming out of the wood).

So, if anyone is considering buying painted wood units from Ikea, best keep them out of the light. We'll have to repaint as you can see from just this one photo of one mark.

Here's their explanation word for word. "We have checked the problem with our quality colleagues. They tell us that the HAVSTA furniture is made of solid, natural wood and that the yellowish stains come from the resin in the wood. Furthermore, as you can see in the photos, it is more likely that they are coming out of the wood grain. If the furniture is exposed to a lot of sunlight, it takes less time for the stains to appear. Therefore, we do not consider this to be a quality defect, but rather a natural part of the wood. Good day!"

I purchased the Linanas sofa, which was delivered. After a few days, it was clear that this sofa did not fit my needs and is not very comfortable. I had to go into the store to pay a pick up fee to return it, as it wouldn't fit into my vehicle. Because I work, I was told I could get a later window for pick up. After several attempts to get a window where I could be there, I received notification for a 3-7 PM, which I jumped on and accepted through the text they sent. It confirmed and stated "Thank you". Immediately following, I got another text saying my window was 9AM - 1PM. I tried to reach someone, anyone, to explain why this wouldn't work due to my work schedule.

I will fast forward past endless phone calls where customer service, escalation, and the store do not seem to have a line of communication with one another. I made a pick up appointment for Saturday, 8/13. I waited for any sort of text confirmation or window, to have an idea of when I needed to be home. I started calling the store, asking for any information, and they informed me that the pick up would call 30 minutes before and that was all the notice I would get. I continued to wait. Hours later, I called back to see confirm this was still going to happen. I was given some sort of excuse that "someone" canceled my pick up. I was then told to call customer resolution the following day, and that is when I hit what I thought was a breaking point. After speaking with a manager and back to John, who set up the Saturday pick up, I was told I would have one on Sunday.

It is 5:30PM on Sunday 8/14. I have spent my entire weekend waiting on something yet to happen. I cannot get a call back from the Orlando Ikea, despite THREE calls where I was promised each time that someone would get "right back to me". I received some cryptic email stating I could not be reached - which is interesting, since my phone number is on all my paperwork, the same one used to contact me previously, and also the one I give to confirm my identity with them each time. I was then told the case was marked resolved. How is that even possible?

I cannot say enough about how poor the customer service is with Ikea. I do not think I've ever been lied to or treated so poorly by any company. My time clearly has no value and at no level has anyone taken any responsibility for this mess. Sure, Ikea's return policy looks great, until you actually try to use it. I've purchased many things from Ikea, but that comes to an end now.

No. They tell us their fork lift guy called out and it was on the third row! Now we can not order this product because we live in an area where you do not deliver. That is why we drive two hours to my favorite store. Now I also work for a corporation that is all over the world. Aafes. I will do what ever in my power to get someone anything they need. So you're telling me the night manager or anyone for that matter does not operate a fork lift and you only have one operator for a warehouse?

I explained to them we are Military and just drove two hours and this will be our last trip to IKEA due to us moving in four days and the next state we are moving to does not have an IKEA and on top of that we don’t have a house to deliver to because we don’t have a house yet because the Airforce will give us one on base when we arrive. All you had to do was find someone to lower it instead of looking at me and stating, "We don’t have a fork lift driver today. Come back tomorrow." I will continue to shop at IKEA because I love this store and 70 percent of my furniture is IKEA. That is why I am more disappointed in the customer service department. My question is what type of TRUST does IKEA has for their employees. Floor manager don't even have authorization to overwrite price???? No one can change the system price. Meaning some innocents customer will pay the wrong price (if did not double check their price receipt) till they get the "CEO" to correct the price? Their only solution is you will have to pay their incorrect price and willing to walk to customer service wait on queue and get back the money. Is Ikea making customers take the responsible for IKEA mistake. Ikea solved my issue "given I have a medical condition", so I'm happy. But, still, beware that although they have 180-day return policy for open products, mattresses are an exception! They have only 90 days to be returned. It is not that Ikea is lying in their website, it's just that the exception is mentioned in a different paragraph, more to the bottom of the page, no star * on the "180 days"... So, beware! And thanks Ikea for solving my issue.

    Original Review: May 5, 2022

I'm very frustrated with Ikea. I spent 700 dollars in Ikea's most expensive Mattress and trusted their "Love It or Change It" program that gave 180 days to return. 4 months later, when my wife started getting aches in her back and I'm getting aches in my shoulder and neck and I tried to return it, Ikea didn't accept and said I had only 90 days to return it... I'm very frustrated. The 180 days return policy is in Ikea's website, but we can't trust them. The experience I had was that the "Love It or Change It" program is a complete Lie! That it's only fake marketing! If I had purchased a cheap Mattress, I wouldn't be so frustrated, but I spent 700 dollars and expected a better Mattress, and a better Customer Service. By the way, their Mattresses are mid firm only for three months, then the foam sags... really bad... I don't know what I'll do with this... Avoid Ikea!

The colour of the walls and floor tile was then matched to the designed kitchen. The kitchen could only be installed once the room was ready in terms of walls, ceiling, floor, electricity and water. The team arrived on the assigned day (very professional) fixed the cupboards deftly and efficiently but alas when they opened box after box of the countertops all they encountered were flawed countertops. Not a single piece could have passed any quality control check.

Over two months down the line and a few more trips to have the same experience we are left without a kitchen. These tops were checked for us in other countries and found to be in good condition which makes us wonder if we are receiving rejects into this part of the world. Such a pity as we do like IKEA and have no complaints with any of our previous purchases, in fact they are excellent pieces and have stood time well. To top this experience we bought a table with four chairs and on opening it found the table to have the same flaws in the wood. Clearly a case of having a supplier who produces inferior products taking the good name of IKEA down.

July of 2020 I purchased a Haugesund mattress. It was a great price, the mattress was the most comfortable mattress ever... for about 6 months. Then out of the blue, one side sag. And this happened almost instantly. It's like something broke inside. So I turn the mattress around and use the other side for another 6 months, and it happened again. Now the whole mattress was unusable, left me with a horrible backache. Ikea was decent enough on the phone and arranged to deliver me another one (which is why I give them three stars). And just like the first mattress, it arrived and was incredibly comfortable and I was happy... Until the second mattress did exactly the same thing. I've had the 2nd mattress since November of 2021 and both sides have broken (5.5 months). I'm 159 lb, was this mattress only rated for women or men under 150 lbs?

I'd like to clarify that it actually breaks. It's not like it's sags gradually, it's like the area you sit on before laying down must weaken somehow, and then snap or break or what-- I don't know. But it has now happen to two mattresses, on both sides of each mattress. So I have experienced this "breaking" 4 times. No one expects to buy a mattress every 6 months. With that said, I found other reviews stating the exact same thing, and Ikea keeps selling them and they are definitely a very poor product.

I got home to find that the sofa was missing a box and so I went back the next day to see about picking it up. When I got to the store I was told that they didn't have the box and that they would arrange a delivery from their Reading store that would arrive in 4/5 days. I waited 5 days and then called customer services to chase up the package. I was told there had been an issue and that they were going to have it picked and sent that day and again I would have to wait 4/5 days for the delivery. I waited 5 days again and still no sign of the package.

I called again on the 5th day and was yet again told that they were picking and sending the order! This time it would arrive within 1/2 days. I waited 2 days and STILL no sign of it. I called back again and was told the order hadn't been completed by the previous customer service agent and that I would have to wait ANOTHER 7 DAYS! I have absolutely no faith that this box will ever show up and suspect I will be forever trapped in this endless Ikea hell loop. By the time this thing is due to arrive it will have been 3 weeks without anywhere to sit in my new home. I will never return to Ikea after this. Never have I dealt with such an inept and incompetent company in my life. Do yourself a favour and cough up the extra money to go with another supplier.

The initial experience with the Kitchen Planning staff, creation of rendering and drawings for your designed kitchen is good. Once you get to purchase that's when the nightmare begins. Each time you call to order your Out OF Stock items, you get a new list depending on how many items from your Master List are available either for pick up or for delivery. Also, I'm on my 11th order number, it's very confusing to keep track of all the pieces every time your order number changes. YES, you (the customer) need to cross-reference to make sure you are getting all the right items and quantities. Also, if you don't mention that your shipping fee should be waived, they will charge you for as many times as your Out of Stock items ship. RIDICULOUS! Every week you must call at least 2x's per week to verify if ANY of your items have come into stock. It's been over a month since my initial purchase date.

Very complex and confusing process! Seems everyone you talk to explains process differently. We order a large order of various cabinets for wife’s craft room. First arrived with a chalk board easel we didn’t order. Also many out of stock parts. We received a random email that said something was at Fishers store and drove 2.5 hours to get it only to be told it wasn’t there even though their system still says it is there.

They seem to have a different answer for everything and very defensive about it when you challenge them. They always ask who did you talk to. This seemed like it would be a problem from the day we can do order. Very disorganized in put orders together. It took an hour and then we were hand a huge 20 pages of information. I can’t describe how complex and inefficient their process! They should send their entire team to to Amazon to learn how to handle customers!!! I won’t recommend them for a large order unless you like being told different things from multiple people.

I recently tried to call IKEA starting on the 28/2 about my $450 returns card had expired and would they override the expiration as I have had Covid lost my job and been unwell and forgot I had to use voucher. Yes my fault, but it’s a lot of money for me. Other companies are advertising extra time to use vouchers. After many calls and since my first email sent on the 3/3/22 with no reply and no one wanting to help on the phone after asking for it to be escalated. I went to IKEA at Tempe Sydney Australia 12/3/22 and the manager at customer Service just didn’t want anything to do with me kept saying call the customer service line, I tried to tell him I had and I was kept on hold each time for 20-30 mins and when I got through I had asked to escalate higher which wasn’t happening. Pretty much treated the same way by phone, email. So I go in person thinking it is the best way to work with them. WOW how wrong I was. Way worse!

His attitude that it’s ok to take over $400 of people's money and treat me with contempt and when I said you’re happy for me to put a bad review up he said, "Go ahead. Do it" and walked away and left the girl at the counter with me who at least was saying sorry. I would hate to think how many people are being ripped off and treated not like a customer. Just a problem they want nothing to do with. Ikea has no customer service skills or empathy. I understand from a business point, but they truly don’t care they have my money now so I’m like a bug inconsequential to a big company.

And If that’s what you train your managers or your company’s way of working with people IKEA really needs to get their morals right. I work in customer service and would be reprimanded if I had that tone and attitude towards our customers. It’s just down right rude. Unhelpful. Basically told it’s my fault voucher ran out. I guess they have never forgotten anything, a bit of compassion and common sense would have been good like, "Let me see if I can try to help you." I will never buy anything from IKEA again. In the past few years I have been furnishing my apartment and recommending IKEA to friends and family about their products. March 7th was a game changer. I've been very interested in a sofa "Applard" 990506241 and daily I have been watching for stores near me for when its available. Using the IKEA app I was advised the product was available at a store in New Haven CT, 1 and half hrs away from the Bronx NY. As it's was something I wanted, I set out to go pick it up. Once I get to the store I checked again and the store still showed it was still available. Went straight to the warehouse area of the store and a store Rep confirmed it was available and proceeded to print me the Order for purchase (**).

I paid and went to the pick up area and waiting 29 mins for a Rep at the store to advise me they no longer had it. I asked for any alternative such as a call for when it is available as I did travel 1 hour and a half to just be turned away. The rep repeated several times there was nothing she could do besides refund me what I paid. I requested to speak to the Manager and he said the same thing and not even once I was offered an apology or empathy for my loss of time, gas and efforts.

Furthermore I was recommended to shop online even though I said several times that is exactly how I was driven to come to this store in the first place. I mention again live in New York City and all he said was "We don't deliver out of state". With the price of gas and the time I wasted traveling, paying and waiting for the product I feel an apology or a little bit of empathy would of gone a very long way as I highly doubt I will be stepping foot in a any IKEA ever again. After all there are plenty of great places to shop with fast delivery, and quality products. Order Number: **.

We ordered a large modular bookshelf to upgrade something we currently own. IKEA shipped part of the shelf through FedEx and the rest was scheduled to be delivered by the store. The night before the delivery, after we had already received our shelf extenders, we were informed that some of the modules were oversold and would not be delivered. While they were gracious enough to refund us for the portion that was oversold with no action on our part, it left us wondering what exactly IKEA thought we would want 2/3 of a bookshelf for. We called customer service. The representative was very friendly, and tried to find a solution that would get us a satisfactory shelf, but given supply shortages that was not possible. They were able to cancel and refund the portion of the order that had not shipped.

However, for the portion that had already been delivered, we were informed that IKEA could not refund us unless we returned the items to the store ourselves (this is not possible in our current situation, that's why we paid to have it delivered in the first place) or paid for the return shipping out of our own pocket. If we had ordered something we decided we didn't like and wanted to return it, this policy would be totally reasonable. However, we ordered and paid upfront for something we wanted and IKEA was the one who dropped the ball. It's not reasonable for IKEA to expect us to take the time out of our day to lug a heavy package back to FedEx and then pay out of our own pocket to ship it back when it was their mistake that caused this situation in the first place. We'll probably end up tossing the package in the trash, but it really sucks to be out the $75 for parts of a shelf we can't use.

If you do have a problem in the first 90 days and have the original boxes and original sales receipt they say they will pick up the product and replace it later. In late December 2021, I went to Ikea in Richmond, BC, Canada, and bought a bed, but I only received part of the bed. The main box, which is the bed frame, hasn’t arrived yet. I have called Ikea several times, and the answer has always been the same: “call us again if you didn’t get a call from us by next week.” It has been really frustrating. I have to keep all these boxes in my home without being able to assemble the bed.

Additionally, I noticed the bed was available for new purchases online twice this month. This means that Ikea prefers to sell the bed to new customers than deliver it to a customer that had already bought it a month ago. Ikea has gotten my money and, apparently, does not plan to deliver what I bought. After many calls, they started to say that they did not charge me for the bad frame even though I have the receipt and proof of payment. I am really disappointed with Ikea and I don’t know what to do anymore. Case number **.

Less than 5 minutes after they had left our house we realized the mistake and called the delivery team but they told us they weren't allowed to come pick up merchandise after drop off and we had to call the store. Called the store and they told us they were so understaffed that no one could handle support calls and we should call again the next day. Tried online chat and they said we needed to call the store.

Called the store the next day and finally got someone who said we would have to drive the couch, which was a truckload of large boxes too heavy for us to carry and too large to fit in our cars, in order to get a refund. This is for THEIR mistake. We finally did a chargeback with our credit card company after going around in circles and getting no help for Ikea (all while our living room was filled with huge boxes for an unwanted couch and by the way, we had no couch because we had gotten our old one picked up for charity before the new couch's delivery) and Ikea send a HUGE packet of falsified 'documentation' about our case. Meaning they spent more time than they were willing to spend with us to resolve the issue to make sure they got their money back from our bank. I will never shop at Ikea again. In 2013 my wife and I spent over $12,000 on a kitchen remodel purchasing all elements from IKEA. Recently the kitchen faucet...model Elverdam...began to leak due failure of the retractable hose which is feature of the model. I called customer service and was told that after 8 years we were still covered by the 10 year warranty, simply bring the defective unit to the store (Bloomington, MN) and get store credit towards purchase as that model was discontinued in 2017.

I was issued a refund and told the supervisor I would like to purchase a similar model, the Vimmern, which also advertises a 10 year warranty. After purchase I was advised that this new model, in my case, did not carry a 10 year warranty but only 2 years, the remaining amount of time on my original faucet's warranty. Pardon me? It was explained that I could potentially return every 8 years looking for a new faucet!! One can see the scam here. My original faucet did not last the guaranteed 10 years.

Money refunded. New faucet advertises a 10 year warranty...but not for me! No reset, no product confidence on the part of IKEA, the supervisor called a rep from the store's "resolutions" dept. to tell me that's just "the way it is". How any merchant can do business in this fashion, let alone an international corporation, is beyond me. I am being penalized for their product failure and can only hope my new faucet will last at least the ten years that other customers are promised...but not me! Everything was noted as in stock and I completed the order. They added a $9.99 delivery charge at the very end of the process. OK, well we really want these pillows.

About a week later a small box arrived, and I got an email saying my order was delivered. Sheets only, no pillows. No notification of the order being split. Nothing about backordered items. Just multiple messages (text and email) about a successful delivery. I contacted IKEA customer support online, and was told the pillows were backordered but I should get a notice in 2-5 business days that they were available and would be shipped. I verified this was what I was being told so there was no misunderstanding.

Before the end of the day I had an email from IKEA saying the pillows were out of stock and they would refund my money. I contacted support again, this time talking to someone after the chat could not answer my question. I was told that because they had delivered the sheets they could not refund me the delivery charge. The sheets I never would've ordered without the pillows. The pillows were available at a different IKEA store but they said it was against their policy to ship from one store to another, or to fulfill one store's order from another. They provided good service helping me design the kitchen but as soon as that part os over the nightmare began. I needed a 5 thousand purchase to fall in the 24 months bracket and my first order was 4920.00. This is because they failed to tell me that I would not find everything on the first day I ordered. I had to place about 8 other orders to get everything and go from store to store (VA and MD) picking up stuff plus a few Fedex stores to get the parts and not pay $50 for each delivery or because some parts could not be delivered for whatever reason. Not even store pickup was available because the "stock was low". So I had to travel from these 2 stores as quickly as possible before anyone got there??!!... There is no help after you buy.

The customer service is a joke, I can tell the funniest stores on answers I got from unprepared people and zero solutions. The same with customer service from the bank that holds the card. It's been a month so far and I have no answer on my request to fall on the 24 months bracket, even having spent 6000 on this project. I was also not told the cabinets don't come assembled and I had to hire more people to assemble them. I did not hire IKEa because I had a contract with a contractor to do my renovation and his schedule was all mixed up with all the delays of the parts. It took me over 3 weeks to get all the parts and some nonessential I just gave up. No help from the store, even going in person to talk to a manager. He tried, but he found no one to help me with the credit card. So, for big projects, just use your local cabinet store and forget this crazy idea to save money. Nightmare!!!

I traveled 3 hours to buy HEMNES Daybed. Began assembling at home, only to realize that at least 20 screws were missing. I need the bed for company - THIS WEEK. No hardware store carries the unique screws. So, I called IKEA. As if they’re doing me a favor, the rep says, “we’d be happy to send those to you” and went on to tell me that “it will take 7-10 days”!!!! I spent $800 at that store yesterday and am at a complete standstill because the sorry packing process omitted critically important screws. They should have sent them to me (and others who have experienced this) overnight.

I will never spend another dime at IKEA and strongly discourage anyone from doing so. If all the parts aren’t packaged - the message is this: “too bad, we’re oh-so very sorry, but you’ll have to wait 7-10 days”. I tried to Chat with a rep online and after he wrote this: “I hope you’re taking care of your family during pandemic” he also told me 7-10 days. IKEA used to be a stand up store. No more! Spend your money elsewhere!

To potential Kitchen customers: I would recommend the IKEA kitchen designs but would not recommend the IKEA Kitchen & Kitchen appliances as the after-sales support is limited (& you would need that after a year with any kitchen). To any IKEA employees: My order number is **; just so you know that I am a genuine & dissatisfied customer.

A real bad experience. Zero transparency. Zero accountability. Zero assistance. If you're (IKEA) trying to copy Amazon with respect to delivery, at least have a track of where the product is and when it will be delivered. Fooling the customer by changing and delaying delivery date (3 days, 5 days then 20 days) repeatedly. Only a "helpline" number whose receiver can do nothing but say "We are very Sorry Sir". The staff at the shop are uninitiated people who can't even give details about the delivery process.

I finally chose the option to leave a message and the mailbox was full. I went online to chat and it was not available. I called IKEA customer service this morning. I was on hold for 43 minutes. The customer service operator could tell me nothing except that I needed to reschedule my order. Worst customer service that I have ever received. If you’re in the market for cabinets I suggest that you DO NOT choose IKEA unless you are prepared to wait six months and deal with incompetent delivery personnel.

I cannot imagine a company that better exemplifies total incompetence and fragmentation of service at the expense of their customers, other than IKEA. Do yourself a favor. Pay a bit more and shop elsewhere. Had we known what we were in for with IKEA, my family would have gladly waited to make our purchases elsewhere and paid more.

My husband and I were desperate for new appliances, which as luck would have it decided to "die" in rapid succession over the last year. Between COVID shortages and the building boom- there were few to be found and the wait was long. So, we took a chance and went online and found matching appliances at IKEA within our budget. At first, all seemed well. They were scheduled to arrive within 4 weeks, and we even rec'd the confirmation emails that they had gotten to Spokane, WA safely. All our paperwork said delivery was due 7/29/21. We were told by two IKEA reps that we would have delivery to "room of choice" and the delivery men would take the old items out of the house. I had my old fridge and oven turned off and taped up for ease of removal and all food gone. (Figured I was being helpful.)

Then, the 29th came and no one showed up. By 4pm I called IKEA and was told first that "someone will be there by 9 pm for sure" and then as 9 pm came and went, was told the 29th was not our "actual delivery date, but a tentative date"... The following day, I was on the phone again, this time with the delivery company. This time, I find out that IKEA ROUTINELY TELLS CUSTOMERS THE WRONG DATES OF DELIVERY AND MY SITUATION IS NOT UNIQUE. I am told that according to the them (the delivery company) we weren't scheduled to receive our appliances until 8/6/21. I found out that IKEA subcontracts all deliveries, and unless you live in a major city- those subcontractors might subcontract the delivery to an even smaller delivery company. This is what happened to us.

CRST, (which was STI Logistics and now ICATT Transport according to our paperwork) sent our items to Spokane Logistics and then to Golden Services-who FINALLY delivered our items on 8/5/21. So, we went a full WEEK with no appliances, no way to cook or cool food- with kids in the house. It was AWFUL. But that's NOT the worst of it. So, the night before delivery, Golden Services calls and ensures we will be home to accept the delivery, and I say to the lady on the phone that given all the miscommunication so far, "I just want to clarify- regarding my old appliances- where will your guys be putting them- by my garage or down by the street for pick up?" You could of heard a pin drop.

DeAnne then tells me in no uncertain terms- "we don't do anything with your old appliances." This then starts a back and forth where I explain what I was told by IKEA, and they say "no," and essentially I am given the ultimatum- either we get rid of our own old appliances or the new ones aren't coming. Great. So, my husband and I scramble to figure out what to do with our old appliances and quickly find a local place to donate them to who was willing to pick them up. At least SOMETHING is seemingly working out, right?

The appliances arrive the following day and I attempt to inspect them (as the IKEA website AND my paperwork states) however, the delivery crew then says that they don't have time to wait for me to unbox each item and inspect them. I tell them it's not really "unboxing" but just a quick once-over for dings. Still, they refuse and tell me that all I am signing for is that the items were delivered on today's date and that I received two pallets with them too- that they ALSO would NOT take back with them for some weird reason. So, I could ONLY inspect the OUTER BOXES of my appliances, which from what I could see, did not have visible damage. However, I will say this- The delivery people were quick to get the items off the truck and in retrospect- may have conveniently concealed the damage I later found. But, I am getting ahead of myself...

So, the 3 person crew starts to get the items into my home and I can clearly see that they are going to have a bit of trouble. I tell them that the charity who picked up my old appliances took off my front door and they stared at me wide-eyed like they had never heard of such an idea. Yikes. They decided NOT to use an appliance dolly and instead chose to LIFT the items up the 15 STAIRS. YOWSA. Halfway up the stairs the female of the trio yells "stop!" and asks, "what is happening to the stairs?" And my heart sank. I looked over the banister to see a white line of demarcation where the guys on holding the fridge had basically DRAGGED it up 6 stairs, scratching it as they went, leaving deep gouges in my wood. Nice. Then, as they somehow finally made it to the top landing, one of the guys decided to leave only his brethren holding the back end and he basically lost his grip effectively DROPPING IT.

This move left a 2-in GOUGE in my wood at the top of my stairs on the landing. I just stood there in shock, wondering what sort of MORONS IKEA had contracted with, and I was lucky enough to have ambling through my home. Finally, all appliances were upstairs and I tried to reason with the female of the group that- considering all things, I should get to inspect the appliances before they left. She refused. I tried frantically to start "cutting along the dotted line" before they left my driveway, but it was useless. They were gone in a split second.

No sooner did they leave my home did I find that THE ENTIRE BACK OF THE OVEN WAS DENTED IN. I quickly had my teen soon check the fridge- YOU GUESSED IT- THE GRILL/COIL IN THE REAR-- ALL SMASHED IN. I could of screamed. I tried calling the delivery company first, figuring that they would simply come right back. Nope. The delivery folks were less than 25 miles away but the manager said "without an authorization pick up number from IKEA (there's that fragmentation again) we can't do anything for you; our drivers can only drive so many hours in one day....-sorry" Huh?

I was beyond upset and getting nowhere. So, I then called IKEA and sat on hold for 65 minutes until I FINALLY reached the correct department, the name of which I found to be super ironic. IKEA actually has two separate departments specifically designated to handle complaints such as mine- E-COMMERCE COMPLAINTS and AFTER-SALES KITCHEN SPECIALISTS. This should tell you something. Enough folks out there have issue with E-commerce that they built an ENTIRE DEPARTMENT just to handle the sheer volume of complaints. Ditto for After-Sales Kitchen Specialists.

By the time I reached the appropriate human I was seeing stars. I kept having to explain and re-explain what had just occurred, and knew there was zero chance that I was going to receive a resolution anytime soon. I now had non-working IKEA appliances sitting half-unboxed in my kitchen/dining room, no way to cook or cool my own food having successfully DONATED my own appliances the day previous, had the delivery people damage my flooring, stairs and as I was to find out later- my handrail--as an added bonus- had PAID almost $4000 for the experience. WHAT DID IKEA HAVE TO SAY? I don't think I have ever had more representatives apologize to me as often as these folks did -without actually DOING ANYTHING.

I'd like to blame the representatives I spoke with each and every time, but I scarcely believe they are the ones responsible for the overall TERRIBLE service and FRAGMENTATION of customer care. This is TRULY an example of "the right hand not talking to the left hand." No sooner would I get off the phone with one representative and believe that I had solved the issue and the IKEA appliances would be picked up (we were REPEATEDLY told by reps that they were putting in for "expedited pickup") only to get an email the following day telling us that "Due to the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19, we are temporarily suspending all pick-ups of merchandise. If you wish to have a pickup and refund of your merchandise, we ask that you please contact us back when IKEA locations have reopened...." SAY WHAT???

So now, they are using COVID as an excuse NOT to refund or pick up the defective merchandise. I call my friends at IKEA once AGAIN. We are on a first name basis now. Camryn- this is the 2nd time I've talked to her. Of course- I have to repeat much of my story... *sigh* however, she assures me that she DEFINITELY put my refund through on 8/10, and I "should" have it by Friday, 8/13 or Monday at the "latest." I am not hopeful. I ask about the appliances that my family and I have been accommodating for the last week- when will they be picked up? She has zero idea. Lovely. On her end she ACTUALLY READS AN INTERNAL EMAIL TO ME THAT SAYS : "customer is responsible for returning appliances to local store." It just keeps getting better. I tell her- "Renton, WA IKEA is 400 miles from my doorstep."

If I could have driven to my local IKEA, I would have... I suggest that IKEA pay for someone local in my town to move these item out of my home at least and they refuse but do offer a gift card of $130, which I am told I will receive in my email today. Unfortunately, THE GIFT CARD HAS YET TO MATERIALIZE, JUST AS WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR REFUND AS PROMISED. I cannot stress enough that the low prices that IKEA uses to ENTICE customers are a DISTRACTION, designed to LURE and PREOCCUPY customers so they hopefully will not see the truth about this company which is that it simply CARES MORE ABOUT QUANTITY VS. QUALITY- that is, the "bottom line" vs. the people they call customers and the products they use. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. PAY A BIT MORE AND SHOP ELSEWHERE. SERIOUSLY.

This happened in 5-6 re-delivery attempts to the point where I decided to call to cancel my order and have a refund.

Part 2: Hell I didn't know my nightmare didn't stop in part 1. After my refund request, I waited for two weeks, because it takes Ikea 6-8 business days to process a refund. After two weeks, I still didn't get the refund per my bank statement. Called customer the 10th time, and they asked me to call my bank lol. I didn't give up and ask Ikea customer services to check again, and they found that the local store (Schaumburg), instead of issuing a cash refund, had issued a STORE CREDIT without even mentioning to me or getting my consent.

I eventually just purchased what I needed elsewhere (which was better quality -- might I add), and when I tried to call to get my money refunded I waited for an hour to speak to a representative and when I finally reached someone they hung up on me....then had to wait on hold for another hour. My first experience at IKEA will be my last. Saturday, March 20, 2021, I drove an hour and a half from my home to IKEA. I was so excited for my first time, as I am a huge lover of interior design and home decor. I went in after some research looking for some clear dining chairs. I fell in love with the TOBIAS chair and had my mind set on getting them. I looked on the website that morning to confirm they were in stock before my drive. After walking through the showroom and grabbing some additional cute things, I went to go and grab the chairs. I find the aisle and bin only to find bottoms and not the tops. I look around to make sure they weren't misplaced and go and ask a team member for help.

I looked again on the website, where it showed there was still availability for them. He looks at his tablet and it shows inventory on the chairs are 14. He walks me down the aisle and says, someone might have bought them and forgotten the bottoms that more chairs would be in on Monday. Disappointed, I returned to the showroom to see if any other chairs would work. I saw about 6-7 of the clear TOBIAS chairs on the floor and thought I would ask another team member if those can be sold since I made such a far drive. Again, to my disappointment, floor models cannot be sold unless they are discontinued. She said they can be ordered and shipped to my house, to go back to the self-serve warehouse and have someone build an order for them. I spoke with a manager, who waived the delivery fee, and said I can come pick them up the next day, Sunday, at the store, that they were getting another shipment.

So, one person told me Monday, another told me Sunday, the website shows availability on the chairs, and the inventory on the team members tablet showed availability as well. There is so much inconsistency. So, I go ahead and have the team member order the chairs for me to ship to my house since it was a far drive for me. The team member guaranteed the chairs would be delivered by Monday. I hadn't checked my email until Monday morning, to see an email from IKEA, excited, hoping it was shipping details. No, it's an email from SATURDAY, the day I put in the order, stating they are out of stock. The day the team member ordered them for me. So easily my money was taken but they weren't even available. AND to this day, I’m still waiting for them to return my money for them. I am appalled, disappointed and so unsatisfied with my experience with this company. I will never recommend or shop here ever again. Ever. This is so ridiculous.

It is my first time ordering items from Ikea. I would love to provide 5 start review but unfortunately, IKEA has failed me miserably. I ordered a set of 6 pieces of cookware and 2 separate frying pan (7” and the other 9 ½”) so the total should be 8 pieces altogether. The order was placed on 03/25/21. When the order arrived at the FedEx location, I was never notified that the order is ready for pick up. I came by FedEx to pick up the order today 04/05/21. The box is extremely light for 8 pieces. I looked at the label and it said 2.1 lbs. I open up and only one item, a 9 ½ “ frying pan in there, which is one of 8 pieces. The rest of my items is unknown.

I called the customer service number. The ladies answered the phone and asked me if the items were supposed to ship to California. I told her no, the ending address suppose to be in Colorado. She then apologizes that she was reading the origin address and not the destination address. I told her the issue. She then proceeds to tell me this issue needs to go to tier 2 for an assistant. I have been on hold for a tier 2 person for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Scott was the tier 2 person I finally spoke to. After he took down my order number, name, email address, billing address, etc…He also asked what items I received and what I items were missing, then he said he need to create a case# and researching the issue. So I was back on hold again.

Scott came back and told me that the 6 pieces of cookware were on backorder and he does not know when they will be available. When I placed my order, the system didn’t inform me this item is on backorder. I asked him why the customer was not notified that part of the order is on backorder. And what happened to the 7” frying pan that is available but not ships together with the other 9 ½” I received in the box today. Scott does not have an answer to either of my questions. He said all he can do is ship out your 7” frying pan on 04/16/21, today is 04/05/21. I asked how will I know when the backorder is ship out or not, will I be notified. The answer is unknown.

IKEA charged my CC for the total amount purchased and let me chased after that them for items, not ship or on backorder. Furthermore, there is no chat online for customer service. When you call the customer service number 1-888-888-4532, the wait time to spoke to anyone is 1-hour plus. I would never purchase anything with IKEA again.

In November of 2020, I ordered an Alex drawer unit. The delivery was set for a month out ($50 extra for shipping). On the day it was to be delivered, a completely other item came instead (a desk). I promptly called IKEA to let them know that the wrong item had been delivered. A mix-up, these things happen -- and they initiated a refund while saying that I could keep the desk. Great. I had not received a refund well into January, almost a month and a half later.

I tried for several months to order the same item or another, larger Alex unit from the Atlanta store with no success. Finally, in March of 2021, the larger Alex drawer unit was in stock to order and the shipping was only a week out. So I paid the $50 shipping again, hoping this time things would be different. March 8 was set as the date of delivery. March 8th came and went. I thought "Hey! I'll just give it some time. That shipping did seem quick." So I waited a week, still nothing from IKEA or the delivery company. I called IKEA on Monday, March 15. They see that the items are with the delivery company and asked if I would like the number. I'm sorry but isn't that IKEA's job to track the order down and make sure it arrives?

I decide to be patient again and see if the order arrived that same day or the following day. When the order didn't arrive on March 16 either, I called IKEA AGAIN -- this time to get the name and number of the delivery company. I called the delivery company, waited for an hour or more but couldn't get through. So I find the delivery company, Pilot Air Freight, online. Using the IKEA tracking number, I look up the order through their site. They had the actual delivery set for Tuesday, March 16 after all, but it obviously never arrived. So I "rescheduled" the delivery for Thursday, March 18 for 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Thursday came and went, still no update from the delivery company nor IKEA. So AGAIN, I call IKEA -- they say they will get in touch with the delivery company and CALL me back.

I did not receive a callback from either entity. So again, I called IKEA today, March 19. The resolutions department tries again to contact Pilot Air Freight. This time, IKEA says that the delivery company has lost the order or can't find it. My only recourse is to take a refund and try to track down the drawer at an actual store. I am completely frustrated by this point and the IKEA resolutions department refuses to put me through to someone who can help. Instead, I call back to get someone else -- this time, they tell me that the item will be discontinued in July, so there probably won't be any more in production. So in actuality, the likelihood of me finding one in the store or ordering again is futile.

So to recap. Order in November 2020, wrong item arrives, a refund takes a month and half. Order in March 2021, items never arrived, and spend countless hours tracking my order down only to find the delivery company doesn't have it and all IKEA can do is refund me money and tell me to go look for the items in a store. I’m completely skeptical that my refund will even arrive at this point.

My first inclination was to chalk it up to my expectations being too high. The way shopping online nowadays is and how quickly you can get things from Amazon, it’s easy to have high expectations. However, IKEA's support, ordering (giving stock indications online only for them to disappear or not actually be in stock), and their shipping practices are something more akin to the archaic online shopping of the mid-2000's. The problem doesn’t seem to be my expectations, but IKEA’s expectations of themselves, that they just can’t seem to measure up to.

We purchased the Fabrikor metal and glass display cabinet in February 2021. We purchased it online and paid for shipping. It arrived and we put it together. The doors to not align. As others have mentioned, I went through the web of customer service on 2/21/21 and was told by a young man to destroy the cabinet, they could not take it back because of COVID, and he had ordered me a replacement that would arrive in 3-5 days and he would email me the order number. I kept checking my email, awaiting the replacement order number, which never arrived. I called Customer Service again on 2/23 and there was no record of this conversation on my original order number. The young woman I spoke with ordered me a replacement, provided me with an order number and told me that the replacement would arrive on 3/1.

On Saturday 2/27 I received two calls from the logistics company confirming my delivery for Monday. On Monday 3/1 I received a phone call letting me know that my delivery would occur in 30 minutes. It never arrived. I called Ikea that evening to inquire where the product was, initially I was greeted by a young man who left me on hold for about 30 minutes. Then I was greeted by a young woman who told me that the piece was on backorder and that it was never intended to arrive today. They told me that my only option now was to receive a refund. They cancelled my replacement order and said they are issuing me a refund. Stay away from Ikea. It's not worth it.

Having recently arrived as an international scholar in Chicago, I was in need of new furniture. But the hope that ordering from IKEA would be a fast and cheap solution turned out to be the completely misguided. What I experienced/am experiencing is the antithesis of fast and cheap. It is not fast ---- Currently I am awaiting the 5th attempt to deliver my order. What happened in 4 previous ones? Two things. First. After delaying the hour of delivery on the day of delivery, the delivery company would fail to show up. Without giving you a call, they will later on simply lie that nobody was present. Know that there is a custodian present 24/7 in the apartment complex who sees and receives everyone in front of the building. Second. The delivery succeeded but with a few single items of the almost 50 item order were being handed over.

Don't try to contact the delivery service yourself since you'll be put on a seemingly infinite time hold. I have never been able to reach them. The IKEA customer service is reachable but a complete disaster. Every time you contact them be prepared to spend more than 3 hours of waiting, being reconnected and thrown out of the system (after which you'll have to start all over).

It is not cheap ---- Four times I had to take time off work to be able to receive my order. Take that plus the hours of dealing with a Kafkaesque customer service. Then there is the fact that because of their incompetence to live up to the agreed delivery date I was forced for a month to sleep on a mat in my apartment improvising how to get through the day. Ordering at IKEA came with a much greater cost than the price of their goods.

Conclusion ----- I believe that what I'm experiencing is a cover-up on the side of IKEA. They are short in stock because of issues concerning the COVID-19 pandemic but are dishonest about it to the customers. Of course that still doesn't explain the delivery services and their utterly utterly deranged behavior. Maybe they are playing along or just never received any items.

We began our Ikea kitchen design last October and it is now mid February. After purchasing the parts needed to build our kitchen, we have been met with a series of errors and crappy compromises. First off, we have an average sized kitchen and ordered basic cabinets and they still never got the order straight. We paid $79 for an official measurement and that measurement was incorrect. The excuse was new staff.... After 3 deliveries of random goods, delivered to the sidewalk in front of our house, we also had to go buy more parts and return wrong parts 9 times within a month and a half. All during a Global pandemic and no phone payments or orders taken. We had to travel south 40 minutes each time, go into the corn maze and pay and then drive 5 more miles east to their warehouse for pick up.

Our final plan shows the upper cabinets going to the ceiling but when they were building it out we were told that was not an option/not part of the plan? We used Traemand because supposedly they know how to build Ikea designs but they proved to be a huge disappointment and were a integral part of the confusion with all the conflicting parts we ended up with.

The final straw was that they built one whole side of our kitchen incorrectly. We could not open our fridge because the wall oven and microwave area was too close to the fridge door. Keep in mind we gave the Ikea designers and Traemand all appliance cut out dimensions in the design and build phase. The only resolution Ikea had was to have Traemand move our cabinets on that wall 2 inches to the right. This required that our countertop on that side be removed. American Marble works in conjunction with Ikea kitchens so we used them. Ikea would not agree to anything unless we came into the store once again and pay an additional $1300 dollars for a new countertop, in the event they could not use the original one. What could we do? We were stuck with appliances that could not be installed! We paid thinking they could reuse the piece since it was a simple cut that only needed to be shortened 2 inches on one side.

Traemand came back out and all fits somewhat but the appliances still look crowded on that side so not aesthetically pleasing. While waiting for American Marble to reinstall, they took forever to get back to us, insisted on a $225 measure appointment for that minor adjustment that could have been done on site. When I finally called and asked what the delay was they said the countertop for that side needed to be remade and it would be another 2 weeks. At this point I lost it. I questioned why they needed to replace that piece and they said they didn't know (I'm just a scheduler). I guess it's easy to just press that button and buy when the expense is on another person.

After sending a nasty email to the trio (Ikea, Traemand and America Marble), I was told by American Marble that they could actually reuse that countertop piece after all. Still 2 weeks to wait for a half hour install. I still haven't gotten a response from Ikea. Also, the Traemand carpenters had to Jerry rig an area on that messed up side so when Best Buy came to install the wall oven and microwave with trim kit, no go. It doesn't fit. Traemand excuse was we didn't use Ikea appliances. Funny appliances are all standard sizes and we weren't told any of that when we gave them the cut out dimensions over 3 months ago.

We since hired a Task Rabbit to come and resolve their screw up. I can't wait to have to go back into Ikea and try to get a refund for that additional countertop we paid for, The moral of this long story is you get what you pay for! I chose Ikea because I love the modern look and the price seemed good. In the end, it would have been better to see out a more professional, quality cabinet designer and builder. God knows what I will be paying for therapy and blood pressure medication in the future!

I got a card, and had to waste my time get some junk for $5 since there was nothing else had any need or desire for. This was about 4 years ago. I just found the card and threw it out. I used to spend over $300 a year at IKEA for several years but have never gone back because of this incident. They do not have many convenient locations either. A normal business would take into consideration the amount of a refund and how many days over some specified time is involved ... the gist being to retain customers, a policy which IKEA has proven to NOT be something they care about.

Very practical furniture but not always for a long term perspective for usage. What I meant is that quality of the materials used in making it not so good. And I have to remark the ingenuity of the designers from IKEA. They are one of the best in the whole world and in the same time this is reflected into the price that it is kind of high for some of the items they sell. Very nice stores and very "direct" and they are not for the customer that comes just to "browse" because got bored with the furniture he already has. Clean and very shiny from the lights they used all around their furniture. Like they say, the better the looks the faster the sale!!!

I found the exact item and the price point I was looking for. The entire process was flawless and will purchase from IKEA in the future. They are competitive with their prices and it’s easy to find furniture in their store.

What I like most about IKEA is all the hardware is available when you purchase certain items requiring it. They have a simple return policy. They have quality products in a wide variety. They display in order to give you perfect visual of how it is used.

Ikea has a very large selection of products to choose from. Their prices are a little high for the quality of the product. Ikea is a very innovative company. You can buy stuff that others don't offer.

In general I Love IKEA...BUT...customer service last couple of years in GTA is very poor. Not enough of them and not too helpful. Especially if you planning on doing new kitchen!! You will wait to just get help for at least 40 min. Last summer we came with idea to pick new countertop... After long waiting time, we just left to different place, that not IKEA.

I use the one in New Haven, CT. It is very large and is fun to walk around. I don't typically buy any of the food from the dining area but I have bought food from here before. Some of my favorite pieces of furniture have been from IKEA. I'm not crazy about their couches, though or mattresses. I have bought bed frames, bedside tables, dressers and plenty of other household items from here. I absolutely LOVE assembling their products and I have never had any issues. Anything I have bought from here has lasted me forever.

I love that Ikea creating displays looking like real living places. I think it's genius idea, instead just slopping furniture in huge showroom. What Ikea does, it makes these cozy living like nooks, that looks like real living space. That allows me to see actual size of the furniture. I had bought sofa- bed at Raymour and Flanigan Outlet probably 7 years ago, in showroom it looked normal size, but when it got delivered, it looked to bulky in my living-room. Yes, measuring will help, but visual display the way Ikea does, very helpful as well. Just do not go to Ikea on weekends, it's a zoo.

Ikea has a great selection for a great price. You need to be handy at putting the furniture together and many times the directions are a little hard to figure out. You will also need a good size car to pick up the items and transport them. Our wait for the items in the warehouse was pretty long.

Trying to call in to get information one is told that wait times to speak with a service representative is longer than normal and so one should go to the website instead. How is it possible that wait times are longer than normal when no option in the phone tree leads actually leads to one speaking to a service representative and there is no option to wait? Why not just say that they are too cheap to actually provide phone support and that one should go elsewhere in the future instead?

I ordered a PAX wardrobe and a sofa, with 3.5 weeks notice, for the day after I moved into a new property. The ordered did not arrive. After being on hold for over 2 hours, they have given me another date, 1.5 weeks away - meaning I will be sitting on the floor and have no wardrobe in which to unpack!!! All Ikea staff can do is apologise, they wont help by sorting out a quicker delivery. I tried to ask to send a van to collect, as the items come from 'distribution', they wont allow it.

The store was filthy. However, they were very busy and maybe I caught them on a bad day. Help is friendly but hard to find. I had to go to CS for a refund. That sucked. The LED bulbs I purchased didn't last but a few months. Not a bad place, just not for me.

It is good to be able to walk around without anyone bothering you to sell you something. It has lots of good stuff and the prices are very good although you need to do the work. The issue is sometimes finding someone to help since there are not that many people working at the store.

Hi World of Buyer, I bought a tabletop and the same delivered to me as on 6th Nov. However, the product was damaged manufacturing defect and I registered a complaint as on 8th Nov 2020 and followed up 9 times by calling customer care till 22nd. Every time representative from Ikea confirmed that complaint is registered and it will be addressed and you will get confirmation call by tomorrow. I never received any confirmation call till 22nd and I was truly surprised when I told my complaint not registered till 22nd. I don't know how this big company's treating their customers and playing with their money. Very pathetic so be cautious when you buy products from Ikea specifically large products.

I wanted to leave a comment about my experience at IKEA. I went in a second time to return a broken dresser. Then decided to go to “as is” to find something else I’d like since everything I buy online was broken. I found the dresser I wanted and as I walked to register to pay, a woman walks up to the dresser. I told her “miss I’m purchasing that dresser.” She disregarded me and began to put it on her cart. She knew I was in line to purchase it. I got out of line, and headed to stand in the way of her cart. I told her “why would you do that if you knew I was paying for it." It that scene the managers rushed over. They told me if she was the one snatching it that it was hers. I told them... “that doesn’t make it right." She knew I was in line to pay for item. It was too big for me to carry on my own. I told them, "Look at the cameras." They ignored me.

I told them, “So it’s ok for someone who is in line for a parking spot and someone just pulls into the space disregarding the person waiting.” That’s ok too. “We should all act like wild animals and disrespect others,” I said to the manager. Most of managers sided with me but the one who had final say sided with her. It was disappointed. I was very tormented and in these days that is a very dangerous situation that escalated quickly. I felt VERY discriminated. VERY overlooked. It was not right. The only thing I can do now is take legal action to solve this issue in court.

I'm a big fan of the furniture at IKEA because I can find pieces at every price point, all in one store. Their styles range from classic and simple to modern and fun. Parents with children have the option of signing their children into the Play Area where there are supervised activities for children.
