We ordered a buffet server from them through Amazon. It was shipped and arrived a month later. It has a cracked frame, shredded door and chips through our the item. It was bought through their stores on Amazon. I tried to get a number and it will only talk on a chat .They offered a 30% discount to live with it but it's useless. I have pics to verify .All I want is them to pick it up and refund my money.

I purchased a very well made Coaster Co Queen Headboard for my teenage granddaughter. I ordered through Amazon and accidentally put the wrong address. I contacted Cymax via chat and they worked with FedEx to redirect to the correct address to have delivered the next day. Cymax has great, attentive caring customer service. The bedazzled headboard is also of great quality. I would purchase products from them again.

I purchased 2 nightstands which they claimed was in stock and I would receive in two weeks. It has been five and haven’t received them or a date for delivery. If you call to place an order the phone is answered. If you call for customer service it only gives an email address to write to and they go unanswered. So I called the order department and they transferred me to customer service and I spoke to a person who said they would reach out to the manufacturer to get a delivery date and I needed to wait 24-48 hours for a response. Six days now and no response. Never again will I purchase from this horrible company. They should be put out of business!

This company is very deceptive. The product listing is very different than the item I received. The customer service number is a sham - it hangs up after 1 ring. E-mails go unanswered. I have made multiple attempts at a resolution. I am shocked to see that Google shows this company as a trusted seller with 4 stars!

Just awful customer service!!! I ordered barstools from them as a seller on Amazon. They look cheap and flimsy and they will not send a return shipping label for me to send them back. UPS wants $459 to ship them back--more than they cost. Do not order from them!!

Cymax fails to disclose ANYWHERE on their website that furniture is NOT as pictured, it must be ASSEMBLED. Imagine receiving your loveseat in a box with 20+ pieces. And don't dare open the box or they will not accept returns!

I bought a desk on January 25th. The delivery date was February 9th. It was supposed to have 4 big packages delivered but instead I got 2. The company is giving me the running around and no one to answer the phone or emails. This is a scam!!!! Don't buy anything from them. After I got defrauded of $1600, I checked their reviews, and this is what they do to everyone!!!

Yes I ordered a sculpture that was made from shells. It came to me without the words fragile anywhere on the box and upon opening it, it was completely smashed into a hundred pieces. After contacting them with photos and evidence they told me I could either get a 30% refund or I could go on about my way with nothing. I refused that offer and demanded a phone number to reach them. They couldn’t give me a straight answer. Then on a Sunday they email me and tell me someone is coming to my house the following day to inspect the package for proof that it is damaged. Unfortunately I don’t have a job where I can just sit at home all day and wait around for whoever was coming. It was super sketchy and they told me to wait at home from 8 AM to 6 PM. I am in the process of filing a complaint. Do NOT do business with them.

We bought a rather expensive desk and like others have noted, only received 1 of 2 packages. They are giving us the run around and we fear we've been scammed. I have, and suggest you do to, tweet about them using the hashtag #cymaxscam. May sound silly, but really hating this circumstance.

Didn’t receive what I paid for. Communication is only through email. Poor service across the board. The order say a set and I ordered quantity of 2 set and only received one. Calling and can’t speak with no one who could help. Was directed to use email.

Non-existent customer service. 2 of the items delivered with significant damage, no phone number to call, it takes them weeks to get back to you via email. They provide wrong order statuses and invalid shipping info. Trying to get a refund without any luck at this point. Every time I reach out via email similar scripted response comes in. At this point thinking of reaching out to a credit card company to get my money back.

I placed an order for a natural maple headboard for our daughter's bed. It arrived promptly, however it was damaged AND it was the wrong color. Impossible to talk to anyone but a sales person. Submitted return form, with photos, on website. No response. Email response is sketchy and just keeps asking for more information and totally not helpful. Worst possible customer service ever. Still awaiting resolution of their issue, but "out: my money...over $200". Poorly-run business for sure.

After multiple attempts via email and phone calls that were not returned I was forced to pay over half the cost of the original item to ship it back within 30 day time frame. Bush Industries was also included in communications and refused to assist.

SCAMMED>..I ordered a pack bed frame with storage and headboard. The headboard was missing a piece and the bed frame was of such poor material that likely would of broke before a years time. I immediately tried contacting the company to receive shipping labels and a refund. I was not ever able to reach a live person. It took 2 and a half weeks to receive a response for shipping labels. After receiving the labels I returned the Items to UPS in two days time. Then the next week I received an email as a follow up saying they are assuming I changed my mind and are closing the request. It's been a month and a half, I have sent 5 emails disputing this with proof of my return receipt from UPS, and I still can't get a reply. So basically I have been scammed for $599.77. Also beware because they are located in Canada and Virginia, this makes it difficult to take them to small claims.

I ordered a desk chair from Cymax. The ordering process was easy enough. The cost of the chair was reasonable. The delivery was was a little slow but reasonable. When I got the chair it was exactly what I ordered, however, the description of the chair said it was a high back chair measuring 36 inches high. I don't know where they are taking their measurements but from the seat to the top of the seat back is not 36 inches. It's too short and I want to return it.
I cannot get a hold of anyone in customer service. They don't answer the phone and they don't reply to emails. When I call they say that my wait time exceeds their limits and the automated call is terminated. If they stall me long enough it will exceed their 30 day limit to request a return and then they are off the hook. They also said the chair is "leather". Well that depends on your definition of leather. It's definitely not real leather or certainly not quality leather. I should have known better for the price I paid but it was their description that said leather and did not qualify what kind. I'm still trying to contact them for a return but I'm not having any luck so far.

I placed an order on May 17 2020 when I go to my account I can not view anything but especially not my order. My credit card has been charged. Nothing has shipped. I have emailed and called the company and have not been able to get any response. When I call they say my wait time exceeds their policy and they hang up on me. Pretty sure the reason they are cheap is because they are not going to actually send you anything just try to take your money. My next step will be cancelling payment through my credit card.

I bought a steel double bunk bed from Cymax, (Through Walmart), and received the bed in early September. I bought the bed set for guests I have coming in March. After receiving the bed set (in two huge boxes), I had a wedding in August, a trip in October, a wedding in November and a wedding in December. Because of all the trips I did not have time to put together the beds until mid December.
As I was putting the beds together I noticed a "slice" cut in the solid steel headboard. I took pictures and described the issue and sent that info/pics to Cymax. Their brief response said "We are sorry you are not happy, but we will not replace the damaged part because our RETURN/REPLACEMENT policy is 30 days"!!! REALLY!!! As I sent in my description to Cymax, it was OBVIOUSLY DAMAGE FROM A FORKLIFT!!! And I do not have one thing in my house that has a sharp enough edge and the power to slice through metal! They would not replace the damaged part! I will not ever buy from them again! Ridiculous!!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Sent the completely wrong item and instead of following their own statement on Amazon about offering a replacement they refused to send the correct item. They would not sell me the bed I originally bought at the price I paid. They also kept offering to sell me the item they sent which I stated I did not need or want. It is the company's job to check listings and make sure they are correct if not remove them or honor them. Then wanted me to take the item somewhere to ship back instead of picking it up!

I ordered two flat file cabinets with bases from a company called Homesquare on the Walmart "marketplace" platform. This turned out to be Cymax. When the items shipped, I noticed that they had only shipped the bases. When I contacted them, they said it was a "listing error." The bases have no use without the cabinets. Bait and switch. They still have not arrived and my card has been charged.

DON'T EVER TRY TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE/COMPANY. We purchased a sofa set which cost us $3000 then it came with defect and broken for two chairs and one Loveseat. Now we haven't received the large sofa yet! It's been over one month and no customer service reply so sales even don't care at all!!! Their customer service won't reply and they don't have phone number to contact what we have been told from the sales person. Which we can't believe. We are wondering if this is fake company. Will proceed with legal process if it is necessary.

Order Cancelled Without Notice. Found the vanity of my dreams and customized by bathroom tile and framing around it. Shipping was confirmed and 3 days later got a refund notice. Cymax refused to call me and was unable to rectify my issues. Would not recommend at all.

If I could put no stars...that’s what I would do. It got to my house in the 2 days that it said it would (because it came from a warehouse 20 min from where I live in Blainville Quebec). But the color did not match the description. Therefore did not match my bed. When I requested the form to return it, I learnt that there was no form...just a number. And that the shipping back wasn’t free and the warehouse to be sent was in Burnaby BC... Cost $1200!!! Crazy!! Contacted the seller to see if I could send it back to the same warehouse where it came from but they refused. BUY HEADBOARDS or any other furniture for other companies, their product are not worth the headache!!!! (And their customer service is even worse than the products they sale!!!) I will put reviews everywhere I can just to prevent other people to deal with the same problems I had.

I purchased a swivel rocking recliner chair from them on Amazon. The mechanism on the chair broke 8 days after Cymax's 30 day return policy. I made contact with seller and I jumped thru all the hoops they ask... Told me to contact MFG to get service from them. It got to the point of getting the complete runaround. I tried to call MFG, HMI PULASKI, but all of the numbers Cymax and Amazon gave me were either disconnected or useless. I tried the MFG website but it states for warranty to go thru ORIGINAL SELLER being Cymax! There was no other contact info. I can find absolutely NO contact info for the MFG.
I have a 6 week old unusable broken chair and out $350 and I cannot get any support from Amazon, Cymax or MFG. Amazon states that because it is from a 3rd party seller and it's past Cymax's 30 day return policy they will not help me either. This is unethical business practices by all three companies, CYMAX, HMI Pulaski and AMAZON. I went thru Amazon's return claim process but again they say I am on my own with this. They will do nothing. Amazon's always been very good about making things right with the very few problems I've had, until now. Someone needs to be held accountable, the consumer should not have to eat the loss of a faulty 6 week old, several hundred dollar piece of furniture. NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered this bed originally through Amazon over a month ago and it was on backorder, so Amazon cancelled it. This time I figured I would go right through Cymax. They sent the wrong bed. They changed my order because the one I wanted was still backordered, however, they are denying it. They have four similar beds with two different makes. Atlantic and Leo & Lacey. Two are Mission Style and two are Nantucket Style, 4 different prices. They are pretty similar and I asked if I could just exchange the Headboard/Footboard for the correct one. They are telling me that this is the bed I ordered so if they were to replace a part it would be the same part. It took them 6 days to reply to my email and now I am being ignored. I even called and talked to a sales person (as this is the only human you can talk to) and they referred me back to email.
I told them I just want to return the entire bed and they have not answered me. It is in 4 heavy boxes and I cannot get it to the facility to ship it back. I will never do business with Cymax again. I do not understand how they are getting away with this. There are so many complaints and I wish I had read them before I placed my order.

I have been trying to initiate a return for 10 days. I have followed their online protocol, which included uploading pictures, and making a detailed case about why the product was not as specified. The pub-height chair seat was advertised to be 30" but it only came to 27.5". I managed to locate a customer service email address and contacted them numerous times. They responded once asking for a SKU number, then I heard nothing. Finally I contacted my credit card company and was issued a temporary refund based on an investigation. However if you read the reviews here, who knows if someone there will also lie about my case? Another reviewer was denied the credit card refund when Cymax lied. Do not purchase anything from Home Square - Cymax.

Placed an order at 10pm, cancelled at 10am the next morning. Received a notification that FedEx picked up the package at 7pm that day, and it arrived at the FedEx facility at 9pm. They contacted me and offered me a 10% discount if I would take it anyway, which I refused, or I had the option to start the returns process. I e-mailed 5 times over the next 20 days and received no response. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. The dispute was not resolved in my favor, which allowed me to see the information provided by HomeSquare. Someone named Jose ** provided information to my credit card company which included lies about the dates on which I contacted them and lies about them providing me with a pre-paid label for me to return the merchandise for a full refund. I will never deal with this company again.

This company is horrible!! I ordered a table and chairs. 2 days after my order I received an email that the product had shipped. I contacted the carrier to track my order to be informed that they tried to pick up my order but Cymax did not release it to them. It is now a month later and I still have not recieved my order and neither has the carrier. I tried to contact customer service at Cymax and they only communicate via email. Multiple emails sent by me but still no response, so I have no idea where my shipment is!

Purchased high end wicker ($1600) patio set with aluminum frame. Order arrived a month late. Table arrived damaged. Within first month three legs broke off sectional couch. Cymax refused to replace table. The frame and legs rusted shortly after breaking. Turns out the tack welds failed. The frame is actually powder coated steel. Cymax refused to accept a return because I could not repack in original shipping boxes. Purchased on Amazon. They refused to honor their A-Z refund policy. Can you say fraud.
