I am in the midst of wedding preparations and was time to order a table for this event. Made sure I had enough time for delivery before I ordered. The company Cymax said it would be delivered on the 30th of July. The wedding is the 10th. So everything was in working order I thought. The table did not arrive until the 31st without enough help to get this 200lb table out of the truck. Nice. Then there were 9 sets of engrained bar code lines in the wood of the table and each set of these lines were good size and approx 13 lines to each set of them.

I wrote them a rather truthful review on their FB page explaining how horrible this company is!!!!!!!! Of course, they now have blocked me from their page! Ordered a 9 pc. dining set over a month and a half ago. When I ordered it, my package was est. to be delivered in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks passed, we did not get a phone call so we called them. When we asked about the package, no explanation was given, just that our package will be delivered in 2 weeks (so I guess they NEVER ordered it to be shipped).

After my complaint thru Consumer Affairs then Cymax DID the right thing and did refund my full purchase price. Thank you Consumer Affiars.

This end table was just what I wanted. It was very inexpensive but you can't tell by looking at it. I liked it so much that I ordered another table from the same collection. It was very easy to put together. You can't tell by looking at it that it is the type of furniture that you put together yourself. I am very pleased with the looks and quality of this end table.

Beautiful piece of furniture - difficult to assemble - takes some time but worth it once it’s done.

The table was delivered on time and it was a very affordable price. It's very good quality and is exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfectly in my guest room!

I bought 2 of the 72" high, in light wood color. This color makes them not dominate the room, and lets the books and things show. The only complaint is that the backing was packed flat. But when we took it out, it curled and wouldn't stay flat during construction. It even ripped itself up a seam. I used tape on the backside so it looks okay now.

This computer desk is just what I was looking for. It is compact yet services my purposes nicely. It was a reasonable price also.

Ordered desk and lateral file in May. Delivery June 12. Waited all day - 5 minutes before the latest time they show up. 470 pound desk shipped upside down, wrapped in cardboard. Asked them how they were going to get the desk in. They said they hadn't thought about it. They couldn't pick it up, but managed to roll it over. Brought it closer to the house with a hand truck and unwrapped to check for damage. I suggested taking out the drawers to at least make it lighter. We then saw the lower right drawer guide had broken loose, and there was damage to the above panel. I told them I wasn't accepting delivery, and they wrapped it with plastic and put it back on the truck. I didn't accept delivery of the lateral file either - they were a matching set.

Am very happy with my most recent online purchase from Cymax. Am a repeat customer. Previous orders were only for media storage units. This recent order was for four (4) furniture items: a corner unit TV stand, plus matching coffee table, end table, and sofa table - all in oak finishes. All four items were delivered on the same day [six business days after ordering]. After assembly, I was very happy with the look and color of all pieces. Their appearance and wood grains matched very well and looked even better than expected from their online catalog photos. My son and I are quite satisfied with these new additions to our living room. I have already re-visited the Cymax Stores website in anticipation of placing an additional order for other items for our home.

Bush 36" Return - I ordered this for our office and it shipped earlier than what I was told it was going to. It is exactly the color we wanted and is very sturdy.

I ordered three sets of dark wood bookshelves. The ordering experience was simple and fast and they were delivered as stated! Although the directions for putting them together was incorrect, they can be assembled by looking at the pictures very easily. They look very "high end" standing side by side as I attached them together.

Bush Series - Lateral Filing Cabinets. The assembly instructions need a written explanation as well as the pictures. Can be very confusing. We were missing two screws.

We are very pleased with the table. There was a problem in assembling the table. The allen wrench that came with the table to assemble it was of very poor quality. We had to go buy one to put the table together.

These backless bar stools are very nice. They came quickly and already assembled! Great quality for the price. Great purchase - would totally recommend.

I ordered four items and received three. Still waiting to learn what happened to the fourth item. Otherwise, the other three items arrived without incident and were in good shape.

Sauder August Hill Corner TV Stand in Oiled Oak - The back cover is made of a sturdy cardboard. The bottom doors have open spaces NOT draws. Overall, for 100 bucks this was a good buy.

I have been very happy with my purchase. My bedroom looks great. The prices of my furniture store nowhere meets all the pieces I received from Cymax. They were easy to put together. I just hope they’re durable in the end; something we will have to wait and see.

The furniture I got was a u-shaped office desk. The price was very reasonable and the delivery was fast too. However, when we put the desk together, we realized there was a little dent on the desk itself. The bridge and lateral file was in good shape. So overall, I'm a little disappointed with that dent.

This is the second item we have ordered from Cymax, and would certainly order from Cymax in the future. The price is right, the quality of the product is excellent, and the service is excellent.

Purchased a South Shore Back Bay Platform Bed Frame. Shipping was a bit slower than I expected, but then again, I didn't quite realize how big the package was and that it was literally coming from the other side of the continent. Overall, the frame is great, was easy to assemble (with a 2nd person - this to my knowledge was not openly mentioned), and the parts had no damage upon arrival. I'd do business with Cymax again.

I ordered 3 beds for our vacation rental from Cymax because they had the quickest delivery times. Whenever I called to check on the progress of my delivery, it was always "on the way". I finally got the beds almost a full month later than promised. In order to get the beds in time for our first guests, I had to drive an hour, intercept the delivery and pick up everything myself. I shop online often but I have never had an experience this bad.

Well made bookshelf and affordable. A step up from the ones from Target, etc. Looks great in our game room. The only problem was that it was missing 1 bolt so we had to improvise. Would definitely recommend it.

The desk is an excellent value for the price. Assembly does take an experienced person and does take several hours. The finished product, however, is more than worth the time, effort, and dollars.

I was very happy with how quickly my order arrived as stated. The product was also a nice quality and I was satisfied with the materials.

All I needed was a screwdriver. The unit came as a kit, and I find, with those, it's best to take things very slow making sure you have the right part and are connecting it properly. When I did that here, it took a little longer, but the result was a sturdy night table in my guest room for when my adult kids come to visit. It looks great; it's durable, and the drawers open and close smoothly. I'm very happy with the result.

This is my second purchase from Cymax and I am very pleased with both. I purchased the china cabinet with the stainless steel top several years ago. It has held up very well and I have received several compliments on the style so I decided to purchase the matching buffet server. The assembly instructions can be a bit frustrating but with patience and two people, it can be done. I have found that Pledge is the best product to clean the stainless steel tops but you need to wipe in the direction of the grain. They both look great in our dining room and will probably last me for years to come.

This was the second time we purchased furniture through Cymax. The first time was fantastic; this last one however wasn't so much. We bought two night stands, an armoire and a dresser. The night stands were in great condition, the armoire and dresser had broken parts so we couldn't put it together. We called Cymax and they were very nice and said they'd send those broken parts right away. I hope they arrive in one piece this time.

We purchased this white corner TV stand on 4/30/13. We were remodeling the living room and did not open it right away since there was so much dust in the house. We stashed it in a corner of our bedroom until today. We spent the morning putting it together and it was an ordeal. When they say assembly required, they do not mean just screwing on legs! Every little piece has to be put together. We finally got to the top piece and although it fit, the entire top was crazed under the finish - lines and cracks were running everywhere. It’s not very pretty or new looking. Also, the magnetic closure for the top of one of the cabinet doors is missing. The other door has the magnetic plate attached to it and so it closes. We will try to get one at a hardware store. One of the handles will not bolt on to the door, too. The hole must be milled wrong, as this bolt is the same size as the other one that went right on. We will also try to find a bolt that is the same thickness, but just a little bit longer when we go to the hardware store. All in all, I was disappointed in the experience. My husband says that's what I get for buying furniture made in China, but I did not realize that was the case when purchasing. Maybe it did say that somewhere, but I didn't see it!

This cabinet made a messy pile of DVDs become an organized phenomenon. The construction was easily accomplished in about 2 hours. The instructions were easy to follow. It's a classy addition to my living room.

I ordered a stand-up desk. It was shipped immediately. It turned out to be an inferior item and not as described. It was unusable. I asked for a return authorization, but the manufacturer would not accept a return. The manufacturer (Winsome) would not stand behind this item! Cymax is allowing me to donate the item to charity in Cymax's name and is giving me a full refund! So even though the manufacturer would not accept a return of its item that was not as described, Cymax is willing to give me credit. Every single person I dealt with at Cymax was friendly, helpful and diligent in following up and letting me know the status of my request. Cymax is definitely 5 stars when it comes to customer service. I would recommend Cymax to anyone, just don't buy the Winsome Home Office Cart!

The furniture I ordered online came in the time frame in which I was given. The instructions to assemble the furniture were easy to negotiate, I'm pleased to say. Only one piece came with a little damage; it was in a place that could not be seen, so we did not have to return it. One suggestion I would offer... include a stain pen, etc. to match the furniture for touch ups of joints. I would not hesitate to order with Cymax again.

King size storage bed, black with shelves for headboard - This is a great buy! It looks solid like a more expensive version and it has a nice rich color. People have commented that it is hard to put together. I can't think that's true, as my 13-year old son did it himself with very little guidance. And he's severely dyslexic so reading the directions isn't really very easy for him and yet it only took him about 5 hours in total!

I've ordered several pieces from Cymax and have consistently been impressed by not only the large and varied selections, but also with the fine quality. In one instance where something arrived damaged during shipping, Cymax was very easy to deal with and quickly remedied the situation.

It took me about 3 hours to put together. It's really nice except for the lock. I have not been able to get the lock to work properly.

I purchased 2 twin beds with storage from Cymax. They were easy to put together. I did have a problem with one of the drawers but when I called, I gave the piece numbers and they were shipped to me within 4 days. I would highly recommend them.

After much shopping, we located the Sauder 2-drawer wood file. Our last purchase of another brand file ended in disaster when the drawer fell off the tracks when filled. The Sauder is a much better quality product and works perfectly for us. Directions are a challenge to follow but the project was completed. This is a beautiful piece of furniture for our computer room.

Item delivered was broken and I had to wait another 8 days to get the replacement parts. The cabinet is beautiful and works well. I am happy with that but FedEx sucks and I will not order again from anyone that uses them.

The dresser was okay except for the top. It sat in my living room for a week until the top came in. A bit of an inconvenience for the damaged top but quickly resolved by the customer service rep who was incredibly friendly.

The product went together well. It's sturdy and doing a great job. My only reservation, the assembly would have gone better if the fasteners had all been identified and bagged separately. Instead, I had to isolate, compare and by the process of elimination, figure out what was what and then label them myself. And I have the advantage of being a retired graphic designer who has done a lot of instruction sheets myself. From there, all went smoothly. The manufacturer should do that organization for the customer. Of course, this comment refers to the manufacturer, not necessarily the seller.

Executive Trestle Desk - The description on the website should have warned that there are many, many pieces to assemble and a substantial number did not come with an identification number so I had to spend a lot of time upfront to identify the piece by the description in the instructions and label it myself. The instructions were difficult to follow. Each step was listed as an abbreviated sentence. More text is needed. And the final task that led to my dissatisfaction is that the heavy desk top in no way can be installed on the few fragile cam dowels. The desk is too heavy to lay down on such small protrusions. And after the first try, the plastic casings were stripped. We had to install brackets throughout because there was no way to do it the way the instructions details. I would not recommend this desk to anyone else.

I found the product I wanted, ordered it, paid for it, tracked it and received it - all with NO problems!

Assembly was easy but somewhere instructions were slightly off as to which side was the right side. I had to redo a couple of furniture. I had altogether bought 6 pieces of bedroom set. Sauder Shoal Creek lateral file in jamocha wood item #371070 - The price was great compared to other sites! Quality product delivered as promised by Cymax. Patience is key when assembling this line of furniture, but the finished product is beautiful - especially given the affordable pricing for office furniture. We also have the matching desk and 2 bookshelves and it all coordinates perfectly! Thanks for a great value and a wonderful purchase experience!

South Shore Cosmos 5 Drawer Chest in Black Onyx Finish - The chest looks great. It has a very modern appearance and looks great with my son's grey metal bed frame. However, the drawer glides and other pieces for putting the chest together are made of plastic. I hope the chest will hold up to use by a teenage boy. Also, read the description carefully. The drawers are not as deep as they appear in the pictures.

It's a solid table and easy to assemble. Color is very accurate to picture. Great value.

I love my new bed frame with the built-in drawers. I also got the matching headboard with the three open slots which come in handy to place a push light in the middle of it as well as a tissue box in one of the slots.

I have previously bought pieces made by Bush Furniture and was extremely happy. This purchase was of the quality as I expected. It was packed well, no damages found. While the assembly took a bit of time for me (I'm a petite female, the desktop was on the heavy side, but still manageable), the instructions were very straightforward. Everything fit together as it should. It is a good-looking solid desk, nicely finished, perfect for my needs. The only complaint I would have is the shipping/delivery notification via email was not exactly accurate. However, whenever I contacted Cymax customer service, they were always pleasant and helpful and gave me a more realistic shipping report. It arrived within a few days of purchase. Definitely a painless purchase and a very good value.

I found a king size headboard at a price and quality that some well-known retailer were asking anywhere from $500 to $700 for a similar headboard, plus shipping. Your merchandise was quality and was delivered promptly.

The shipping was slow, but not due to Cymax. The order placed was coming from Canada and had to clear customs. I called Cymax and the rep called UPS since the tracking was unavailable. The rep stated the item was waiting in customs. Funny how the next day the package was delivered to the house.

Delivered in a timely fashion and also packed extremely well so there was no possibility of damage in shipping process.

This is easily one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. I spent over $1000 on a desk and it came damaged (there are 4 pieces and each had damage). It has been more than 2 weeks and this still hasn't been resolved. Their customer service is horrible, and one gave me attitude for calling about a status update. I will never shop with this company again and neither should anyone else.

I ordered three items from Cymax recently and was very pleased with the quality of the furniture, a Bush Series C Bookcase, a door kit for the bookcase and a 2-drawer kit for a Bush Series C desk I previously purchased from Cymax. One of the drawer fronts had a slight finish problem and after calling, I received a replacement within days at no charge. I would highly recommend Cymax for the selection and quality of the products they sell. I also appreciate the great service I receive from them.

I purchased a Catnapper Oversized Teddybear Recliner from Cymax online. I was a little leerry at first, buying a recliner online from a store I have never heard of, buying it without being able to sit in it to see if it is comfortable, so I knew I was taking a big chance. But I went with it and believe me, I am so happy that I got this recliner from Cymax. It is the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in and laid in. It swivels and glides when you lay back, it is very big and has oversized arm pads to make you more comfortable. I love it! From the time I purchased the recliner online, I had my Teddybear recliner within a few weeks. I cannot even go to a furniture store here in my home town and get a recliner as quick as I got this from Cymax. The complete shipping and receiving process was fantastic. Love My Dining Chairs And Bar Stools! Beautiful abaca mahogany leaf dining chairs and antique walnut bar stools. They look great in our beach home and coordinate very nicely with other items recently purchased for updating three rooms.

Love everything! 4 Abaca dining chairs and 3 bar stools I ordered are everything I wanted them to be for our beach home. They blend not only with the new living room furniture I recently purchased locally, but made the glass dining room table we kept have a whole new look. Everything was reasonably priced and of great quality!

I ordered Pub Tables and Saddle Chairs for a retail store my wife and I are opening. Unfortunately, I initially ordered the wrong height table and chairs. I didn't even open the original order before realizing my mistake (not Cymax's mistake). I reordered the Pub Tables and Saddle Chairs which came promptly. I love the look, the size, and the price was just right. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five stars is because returning the original order was a bit of a hassle, and took longer than expected. I will definitely shop at Cymax again.

First and foremost - it's fast shipping. I thought I was going to be waiting weeks; everything arrived quickly... The furniture was easy to put together - I got a total of 4 pieces that took roughly 2 hours. Once the furniture was put together, it looked amazing and durable! Thank you.

The description of the product stated easy assembly. It was hardly easy after package was opened and looking at all the hardware provided to assemble it. I have purchased other items that required assembly but nothing that required this time and effort. I also was not certain if it was solid wood.

I bought South Shore Prairie dresser, Queen/Full headboard, and 2 nightstands! They were very well made and not too hard to put together. Headboard is not as sturdy as I like on the full but overall, it's a nice set for my guest bedroom. The dresser was bigger than I thought and the nightstands are very nice.

I purchased a desk that was pre-assembled. I was thrilled that a pre-assembled desk was offered. It was delivered in a timely fashion. The desk itself was just as it shows and described on line. It did, however, have a few problems. The screws that it came with to put the drawer handles on were not long enough. The back panel behind the drawers fell off and it had a dent in the upper left corner. I called about this and another desk was not available, though I had been told this was a new product and I was the first person to buy one. I thought that was weird. The agent was very nice and offered me a discount. Since there was not another desk, I took the offer. I was able to put the back panel on and I was able to find the proper screws to fit, though that was a pain. I will live with the dent.

I have nothing but awesome things to say about this company and their products. They have a huge selection of merchandise and priced very fairly. My last purchase was a TV stand, and it was the easiest thing I have ever had to assemble. It is strong and sturdy and just looks elegant. Will be shopping again and again and again with Cymax!

I purchased a DVD Cabinet and I'm very pleased with how it looked - real wood with glass doors. It came in good shape. Nothing was wrong with it. I received it within the week, very quick delivery. My son was here and helped put it together for me. I had only a small area to put it in. It's perfect for the space I had and it looks very nice. I'm very pleased with this cabinet.

They had just what I was looking for at a good price and free shipping. I received the island ahead of the scheduled delivery. I'm very pleased. I would purchase from Cymax again. They had it in before the painter arrived to redo the kitchen cabinets. I had it finished to match. It fit in perfectly for the space I had.

I found a dresser/mirror combo that I absolutely loved and wanted in our little girl's nursery on a different website, but the price was more than I was willing to pay. After scouring the internet for this combo, I came across Cymax and found that they had the best deal on this item. Ordering was easy and the items came very carefully wrapped. I was so worried that the mirror was going to come to me broken, but it was wrapped up wonderfully! It also came on time with the schedule I was told in my order confirmation emails. I would definitely buy from Cymax again and will be telling everyone who asks me where I got the items that they came from Cymax!

The product was fine, but Cymax Customer Service (Resolution Team) was awful!!! It turns out they submitted my order twice...there was no confirmation email of the original order so I thought it never went through. How would I know that the original order was submitted without confirmation? The Resolution Team was totally unsympathetic regarding what happened and would charge a $60 restocking fee for me to return the second unwanted table, which was unopened in its original packaging. I’m so disappointed with Cymax...I will never deal with Cymax again.

Made in the USA. Nice wood, prefect color. Easy assembly.

Although the quality of the TV stand is okay for something that is not real wood. We were shipped our product without adequate number of cam dowels to put it together. Two pieces were also cracked, so better packaging is needed. The company did ship us replacement parts, but they used standard shipping so we had to wait 5-7 days for it to arrive. No compensation or discount offered for the inconvenience.

Appears to be of excellen quality. Just had it assembled today and I am looking forward to using it.

I bought this book shelf after several options and it fit well in the allocated space and it's very strong. Installation is easy and instructions are very clear. I would recommend this.

I recently ordered the Sauder Orchard Hills large desk and hutch. This was my first experience with Cymex and I was very pleased with their competitive prices and free delivery. The desk and hutch arrived within a week of ordering and was exactly as described.

It's a great looking piece of furniture, easier to put together than most such products, and my wife loved it, a sight unseen when I ordered it.

I am very pleased with this product. If I needed a new bed again, I would definitely buy another one... It was a little tough to put the drawer together, but other wise, 4 stars.

Very happy with the Bush 48" Credenza. Although it came damaged, the replacements came very quickly at no cost to me. Easy to put together, sturdy and very attractive. I had previously purchased a Bush Series A corner desk and then purchased two credenzas to finish off my office work desk. Very happy with the product and the service.

I received my headboard sooner than expected! It was packed beautifully, damage to parts. The price was great! The instructions were very clear and I put it together MYSELF... It would have been faster and easier if I had a second person! It is sturdy and looks great! Would definitely recommend it.

The headboard arrived as promised. When we opened the package, the presentation side had a large crack in the veneer. My son solved that by reversing the faces, and I filled the holes where the screws should have gone with wood-colored putty to match the cherry finish. I'm not all that impressed but couldn't see wasting time and effort to return. It looks good in place.

I am happy with my order. I ordered the Southshore platform bed. The directions are not the best, but the bed is great. I was very pleased that it was delivered on time as I was sleeping on a futon.

The table was absolutely beautiful just what I wanted. The height and color was just right. It is sturdy with a sleek finish.

Excellent computer table works perfectly for my needs. It is somewhat challenging to assemble but close attention to the plans made it relatively easy. It is a very nice looking unit and I would recommend it to anyone needing this sort of desk.

On April 28, I placed an order on my credit card to help my disabled neighbor get a captain's bed and nightstand. Cymax phoned me on April 30 to say they had my e-mail address wrong and the tracking number for the shipment had come back to them. After they found their error, I was told that the furniture was released for shipment. When it had not arrived within two weeks, I responded negatively to an online satisfaction survey request.

I ordered a desk and a chair from them on 24 April 2013. I ordered a Hooker desk that I could have purchased on several sites for the same price. I liked their free white glove service included and I opted for them. The first week of May, my chair arrives. I work from home and have only just moved here after having rented furnished, so I have no furniture. I am keen for the desk to arrive. They use a separate company, Mana, to do deliveries. Mana emailed and asked me to schedule a delivery date for my desk. I scheduled the 10th of May. They called my husband on the 9th to tell him desk is not coming and to have me call to reschedule. I am baffled.
