On May 7th my husband and I went to the DeLand Florida North Woodland Wendy's store. We ordered two number threes and they were horrible. The meat was over cooked and dried out. The tomatoes and lettuce were withered and the fries so limpy. We called in and talk to management to get the corporate number to file a complaint and (Carrie) who is the manager at the store was so combative. She stated, "you might as well talk to us because you're just going to get a free meal" and I explained that this is happening too many times now and that I believed that this was a management issue or internal with the employees. I stated that; "this is not about a free meal, it's about getting good food and good customer service from our hard-earned dollars that are being spent at this location"!!! I left my number for her general manager to call. She stated in 20 minutes. That call never happened.

I called back the next day and Carrie stated again that, "She's going to call you shortly" and that never happened. I'm asking that every customer stop going to this location because they have a lot of issues going on at the store. If you look online you will see hundreds of complaints against Wendy's. It's very frustrating when you go through the drive-thru and you wait 20 minutes and asked if your food is fresh and are told that it is and you leave to find out it had to be sitting in the window for hours and there's no receipt in your bag, no condiments or napkins. Again all customers think about this review before you go to this location and if you do make sure before you pull off that you have everything you requested; how you requested it. God bless!!!

Received my coupons from the paper and noticed that now Wendy's have a coupon code on them. Burger King coupons are reusable and all you need to provide is the coupon code and keep the coupon so you can use it again until the expiry date which makes a lot of sense to increase buy. So, I'm thinking that's the same thing that Wendy's is doing so I ask for my order and the person ask me for my coupon code which I provided. When I got to the window she wanted me to give her the coupon. I usually rarely go to Wendy's because of the HIGH prices. The coupons is the reason why I would go more often. I will not go back unless I have a coupon but being that they take them and ALL the coupons have the same code just doesn't make sense to me. I thought this time they was looking out for the consumer but I see Wendy's is still ALL about money. I will be going back to Burger King and use my REUSABLE coupon codes.

I went to Wendy's at 6 pm Central time on 3-29-2017 and ordered two 4 for $4 and a number 10 (10 piece nugget meal), with my nugget meal I asked for Baconator Fries. I was asked if I wanted the ranch ones I said "no", explained I just wanted the normal cheese and bacon ones and still ended up with ranch and bacon fries. I went out of my way and drove 10 minutes back to the location to get my fries fixed. As I tried explaining to the manager she was very rude and cut me off, told me to keep what I had and said she would correct it. I explained that I did not want the ranch ones as I do not like ranch. She grabs them from the counter and tosses them in the garbage. She immediately comes back with the correct ones and when I look in the bag it had fries with sprinkled cheese (not melted) and bacon. I set the bag on the counter, stated that I did not want them and walked out.

From the parking lot I called into the store and asked for a supervisor. The woman said she was. I explained the situation. She stated that she was the one I dealt with inside and that the cheese was melted on there and that I WAS BEING RUDE and said that I can talk to another manager and she will tell me that the cheese was melted too. As she tried to put the other manager on the phone all I hear is "UGHHH" in the background, never spoke with another person, and the same woman responds "she said it was melted too and you can call the store manager tomorrow if you want". I told her I will definitely be doing that and that she was VERY RUDE. She once again stated that I THE CUSTOMER WAS BEING RUDE which yes I was upset but I was nowhere near rude. If anyone had to leave from their home to go get an order corrected they would be upset.

It is the job of the employee (especially in a managerial position) to make sure that the customer is totally satisfied. Instead she stated "if you didn't like the shredded cheese on there you should have just said that". Instead of saying "I am so sorry I would be happy to correct that for you" that is the response I get. If my order would have been right not only the first time but the second time as well I might not have been upset. Then to be treated like I was the one in the wrong and pointing the finger at me when all I wanted was my order correct. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! Never have I ever been so outraged about an experience!! Also might I add I am NEVER one to complain. I usually just let it go, but when you mess up twice and then as a manager you treat your customers like that, that is totally unacceptable. NOT OK!!

On 3/28/2017, a Wendy's employee whose name is ** (whose name on the receipt) attended me at the drive-thru window at 7363 Jonesboro Rd, Morrow, GA 30260. The cashier stole my Chase freedom credit card. To describe the situation in detail, when I gave her my card to make payment at the window, she never gave me my drink nor my receipt and credit card. She just told me to move my vehicle to the front corner of the building to wait for the food.

Another lady who seemed to be a manager came out with my food and card and receipt as well as drinks but I did not realize until I came home that the card they gave me was not my card but someone else's chase debit card... What...the... I have never had this type of terrible customer service at any fast food restaurant here in America and the fact that it had to be Wendy's really disappointed me very very very much...

Went to Wendy's 3 days in a row, as I had coupons and was home alone. The first day, Apple pecan full size salad and a chili, good but I forgot coupon so it was expensive, $10. The next day got an apple pecan full size salad and a chili and a fries. $15 WITH $2 full size salad coupon! Not even a drink. The last day, I had one salad coupon left ($2 off full size) and my fiancé got home, so I ordered 2 taco full size salads and two chilis. Used a $2 coupon and it was $20! Trouble is, it was SO gross. I didn't realize they give you chili to put on a bunch of lettuce to make it 'Taco' - some yucky salsa, a sour cream and some big round chips. So we didn't even eat the extra chilis I bought. Not going back. Too expensive and not good. Their chili used to be thicker, now it's runny. Looks smaller too, even though I asked for large. Bummed.

I went to the Wendy's restaurant at 560 N. State Rd. 7 in Royal Palm Beach, Florida this week to grab something quick for lunch. I ordered a single Baconator burger and the lady rung me up for a whole meal. When she told me the total I said, "Are you sure, I only ordered a sandwich?" She then rolled her eyes at me and said "I have to get someone to take this stuff off!" The other lady come over and does the override and walks off. Then cashier then gives me a second total which again is WRONG! I explained to her that I only want a single burger, she forgot to remove the drink in which the whole sequence starts again with the other lady. Now I'm looking around and the whole place (behind the counters) is total chaos! I'm asking myself "Who is the damn manager here?"

I finally pay for just the burger and go over to the other pick up counter. The cashier told me to just keep the cup. The lady who performed the override was there looking at me with an attitude as if I did something wrong. She yells over at the cashier "Did you charge him for this cup?" I replied, "I don't need it, keep it!" She then slams my burger in the bag and drops it on the counter and walks away. I always thought Wendy's was supposed to set the standard for the best fast food joint but they dropped the ball big time because this is the WORST excuse of a Wendy's I have ever seen!!! Whomever that manager is needs to be demoted or fired - PERIOD!

I went to the drive-thru window and gave them my gift card my daughter gave me for my birthday, it was a $20 card. I ordered a combo and went to the next window, they gave me a bacon burger, but I didn't want bacon and I didn't want onions... but they added that too. My wife checked the order before we left the window. When I questioned the manager about it (he was of Indian, Middle Eastern descent) and he wanted to see my receipt, but the first window did not give me one. He said that I didn't pay for my meal and didn't give me back my food or money.

I called the police and told them about my situation, and requested that they write a report, since I was in Law Enforcement now retired, but they said there is nothing they can do about it... So, we left. I never go to Wendy's anymore since then and it's been around a year now. I wanted to add this problem to Consumer Affairs so other people can see this and write in about their experience. I went to the Wendy's on RT 31 in Flemington, NJ.

Upon visiting my local Wendy's this evening (7th st in Altoona PA) I went to the ladies' room and found the single stall to be clogged with feces. I went to the counter and informed staff and they sent a man to clean it. When ordering our food I noticed that the woman was wearing plastic gloves, handling money and credit cards, and then proceeding to handle food in the same gloves. As I also work in food service (and have some common sense) I know this is a huge food safety violation. But that was nothing compared to what else occurred this evening. It wasn't the kitchen being absolutely disgusting...dirty counters, fryer bins that would turn anyone's stomach, food all over the floor and clearly kicked into piles under the fryer unit. It wasn't the fact that there were no clean tables. It wasn't the fact that someone finally came to clean the tables around us while we were eating...spraying a nauseating cleaner which made it difficult to eat.

What really scarred me for life was when the same man who had been asked to unclog the toilet filled with feces just minutes earlier came to our table and rather than inform us of the survey on the back of our receipt, reached his hands onto our tray where our food was lying unwrapped as we were eating to grab the receipt and show us the survey! That was it. I couldn't eat another bite. You better believe I completed their survey! This location should be shut down! I will NEVER enter this restaurant again...let alone eat there. At the very least management needs to be replaced, and food safety needs to be enforced. If this restaurant is allowed to continue operating as is, I can guarantee they'll be facing several lawsuits. It's only a matter of time.

I honestly have no idea how these people haven't been shut down or fined! Food safety is a very serious issue and can be fatal. Dave Thomas would be ashamed to have his name associated with such a vile disgusting restaurant. This specific location was just remodeled...they should have followed suit and replaced management as well because they're just going to run it into the ground. Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to the day when they get a surprise inspection! Damn. I should have taken pictures.

I recall many years ago when Wendy's made a decent batch of chili. It had all the standard ingredients that a fast food chain could safely use. Since then the quality has crashed. Recently my wife hankered for some Wendy's chili. What she brought home was nothing but beans... and a good number of them were tough skinned kidney beans. As for the meat... there was none. Chili is more than just a pot full of beans and (very) mild mixture. Chili means chili meat, beef. This stuff Wendy's passes for chili doesn't has half the amount of their cheapest hamburger. No more for me... I'll make my own with a better balance of quality beef and pinto beans, not tough skinned kidney beans.

She also expressed that it would be funny to put everything on it (out of spite), but fortunately that didn't happen. We decided to go to Wendy's because we were going to watch a movie that did not start for an hour later. When we finished our meal my girlfriend said she wanted to go looking at clothes in a store close to Wendy's so I said I would just catch up on my emails and wait in Wendy's until she returned. What guy likes to go clothes shopping right?

The restaurant was almost empty and I was just using my cell phone when the manager Mike came over and told me I needed to leave as I had stayed more than 15 minutes after finishing my meal. I could not believe my ears. I am a 50 year old company CEO and I could not believe that I was being treated like some homeless person. I understand that it's not my house and they don't want people staying there if they are busy but I was in there less than 45 minutes total. Does the manager of the Cedar Hill TX Wendy's dump cans of old navy beans into the chili when nobody is looking? Or does this crap come pre-mixed in gigantic plastic bags and then dumped into a pot? How cheap can you get? Their chili, as presented to customers, is no longer edible. It was bad enough they eliminated the light red kidney beans and chose navy beans instead. Now you might as well ground it up and make hummus with it and even that will taste awful. TERRIBLE CHILI.

Then she asked me to hold on, when she finally came back to me she said they had potatoes. I gave my order, then she asked me to hold on again. Eventually someone else came on and asked for my order, I stated that I did order, she found it and repeated it to me, then gave me the total cost. She asked me to hold on again. I waited.

Then someone else came to the window and asked for my order. I told that person I already ordered. I was asked to hold on again. Eventually she came back and said to pull up to the second window. At the window I was immediately asked to pay another $1 and change, I didn't understand but wanted to get out of there and paid. Then they told me to park out front and my food would be brought to me. I asked if I was supposed to get my drink while there by the soft drinks, then was given my drink.

I waited another good 10 minutes out front for my order, and it never came. So I went inside to wait for it, still took forever. All this procrastinating wasn't for any apparent reason, there weren't any customers inside who were keeping the place busy. Also it struck me that the kitchen floor was really dirty. While waiting for my drink in the drive thru line, the woman who gave me my drink was sweeping the floor while talking to me.

Honestly, I found it odd to do that while telling me my order would cost more and while waiting on me. When inside, it also struck me that her sweeping lacked any accuracy. There were fries and ripped pieces of paper on the floor, right by where she had been sweeping. Still was slow to get my order, everyone just seemed to be in slow mo. The place just seemed chaotically run for no good reason. Plus, when I got my order, it was awful. Hardly ANY cheese whiz on the potatoes I ordered. No application so can't ask about that either so nothing to say all this time. She could of simply ask questions from a app or have her fill one out prior or there!!! She has no common sense questions?!? She knew all this prior. Why even ask her to come back?! Who does that? I am disgusted and will never come here again.

My husband and I were waiting to order and a previous customer came to area to show that his burger was single and not double as he ordered. The person at register threw it away and ordered another for the person. The manager was angry that he threw it away. "Should have just put another burger on it." I stated to the customer "did you bite into it." He hadn't. So I said to the register person "of course you did the right thing. Anything taken away from that counter can not be fixed with that same food. It's contaminated whether he bit into it or not. You should challenge your manager on this" and secondly he should not have disciplined him in front of other customers.

My husband and myself have been in the food service area for years and we think you need to address this with that manager. It's the Wendy's on Commerce Way in Plymouth, Mass. Thank you. I recently went to Wendy's near our office to have dinner. As I entered the store, the crew opened the door and greeted me. I appreciated that a lot. Not all food chains are like that. Some show no concerns for their customers. I have been to this food chain where I sat on a table where the plates and leftover food of the previous customer were still on the table. It took me at least 15 minutes for the crew to even notice me and clean my table. It was so irritating. But with Wendy's I have never experienced that. Their crew is polite, friendly, always smiling, helpful, attentive, and fast. They make sure that their customers are satisfied. And I was satisfied with the service they have given me. Kudos to all of them. I will never think twice going back. My experience has been good.

Also the food tastes great. I love their Frosty. I use it as a dip for my fries. So good! Heavenly! They are a perfect combination. Hot and cold. I always have them whenever I watch a movie. I just have one question though... Who is Wendy?? I asked one of the crews but he did know. Hmm. I think that should be part of their training. Learning the history of their business...

The burgers at Wendy's are INSANELY OVERPRICED. Look, I get that their burgers are really really good, but the expensive prices are too high for me to enjoy eating there. All I can think of as I chew on their burgers is the fact that I just spent a lot of money on something that probably won't even satisfy me. Yeah it's delicious, but I'll still feel hungry afterwards and I won't have enough money to buy anything else there or anywhere. It's just not worth it. I'd rather eat at a moderately priced burger joint and eat a mildly satisfying burger/s to my heart's content than to settle for something delicious but so expensive. You're a fast food joint Wendy's, not a gourmet restaurant! Lower your prices a bit so that more people will appreciate what you have to offer.

So, now they fill the large chili halfway (supposedly there is an imaginary line) and get you for more money. Geez, it would be terrible for Wendy's if they fill the chili up to the top. It may cause them to go bankrupt... lol. The food is cold the burgers are tasteless and the fries are greasy.

We frequent the Wendy's on North Oak Rd. in Plymouth Indiana. My husband always orders a burger without cheese due to severe anaphylaxis to dairy and dairy proteins. He is not simply lactose intolerant; his throat swells closed if he ingests cheese. On this night, we ordered his food as usual with no cheese via drive-thru. Due to severe nature of his allergy, I always pull out of the drive-thru and park to check the food. It was late evening and getting dark, so from what I could tell, the order was correct. I drove home, which is about 10 minutes from the restaurant. Upon his first bite, his mouth started to itch. He said, "Something is wrong." so I grabbed his food and looked it over. There was cheese residue all over the burger patty, as though they had slapped on the cheese and then peeled it off.

After giving him his medication to calm the reaction, I called the store. The manager, Lisa, was possibly the rudest individual I have ever encountered. I explained the situation, and the severity of it, and she actually stifled a laugh. At that point, I became angry. Her only solution was to send coupons in the mail (which we never received) and she stated that "maybe he shouldn't eat there if he's allergic". The manager would not give me the name of her superior. I called the 800 # and they said they would "look into it". Be very wary if you or your loved ones have serious food allergies; apparently this franchise thinks it's a joke or laughing matter.

I gave my friend the baconator thinking it was the junior (not my fault). Went back in the store and told the lady what happened and all she could do was ask what the problem was. The Wendy's located in Westerville Ohio on Maxtown road use to be good. They took your order and would have your change ready at the first window and your order ready at the second window. I had surgery and my stomach was removed and I ate a lot of Chili. It got to where the food was not consistent. The chili was not stirred most of the time. You either got all juice or all beans and very little meat. Then they remodeled and put in 2 lines and service went downhill from there.

Today I ordered a large chili and a value fry. I was given an amount and when I finally reached the window I was given a different amount so I confirmed the order and she then gave me the correct amount. I drove to the next window. She had the bag ready and holding it out the window. I confirmed what that it was a large chili and fry. She said yes.

I drove away only to discover that it was a small chili and a sandwich I cannot eat. I drove back and went in and explained the error. The lady at the counter never apologized and took her good time. They were out of chili and I had to wait until they brought more out. Still no apology. I finally received my order and left but still had no spoon. Went home and attempted to eat the Chili and it was inedible. It didn't taste right and the beans were crunchy hard. It's sad as I really use to like their chili. I have never complained before but felt this was necessary for me and for them. Thank you.

I suppose there are worse things to complain about but I am pretty miffed that the white Easter dress I bought my 4-year-old is now ruined. The Danville Wendy's is by far the worst, serving the most disgusting bread imaginable. The Somerset Wendy's had it beat a few days ago when my family decided to give it another try. The drinks were all flat.

This is the first time my kids wouldn't eat the food. NEVER AGAIN. We will never eat at this restaurant again. They were closed inside and the manager was polite and helpful but one young man in particular was a cook and he jumped in the conversation and thought it was funny. That made me even more upset. Initially when the manager opened the potato lid, the he jumped and said "Whoa!" but when he realized the issues and protocol I was taking, he proceeded professionally to de-escalate the matter.

I tried to give the benefit of the doubt that it was a sprout growing out of the potato but presentation is the key and I do not feel as though I should be served ANYTHING that looks that way! The employees tried to show me more cooked potatoes that had sprouts growing out of them but NONE of them resembled mine. It's not about the money. I let her know that wasn't possible as I was already back at work and couldn't leave again. She got slightly irate & said, "Fine, bring it when you get off work." I also explained that I wasn't given a receipt.

She argued that they always give receipts so I must have lost it. I nicely explained that no, I didn't lose it. I gave her the amount of the meal, let her know I paid with a $20 and the 21 cents in change. I told her I would come in when I got off work and I could just get my money back. She told me she couldn't give me my money back if I didn't have a receipt and questioned why I couldn't come back then. I explained again that I was at work & couldn't leave again until it was time to go home. She got very agitated and sighed. I asked her name & at that point she hung up on me. Why did Wendy's give us bad food? If they wasn't cooking then why couldn't they just say they had no fresh food not give us nasty food that could give us food poisoning? It ruined our day and a waste of $20. We should get our money back. It was at the Hunting Park Shopping area next to Little Caesars Pizza.

I went through the Wendy's drive through in Easley, SC. I ordered a large chili with a 6 piece spicy chicken nugget. When I opened my chili, it was basically all water. I had to scrape the bottom to get any meat/vegetables. This made me angry, but I decided to let it go. When I went to eat my nuggets, I saw there were only 5. Not only that, 2 WERE REGULAR NUGGETS! I saw red. I went inside to make them rectify the problem, and the girl in the back gave me attitude and said "I poured that chili, it ain't watered down." When the manager got involved, she brought me a small chili from the back and said "You had the small chili?" I corrected her and told her I had a large chili. She went to the back and handed me my order. I was so mad I just took it and left. Only when I got back to the car did I realize she gave me the exact same cup she tried to pass off on me the first time. I've never been treated so disrespectfully in my life.

To be as accurate as possible and 100% honest, I am a victim, you are a victim, and we asked Wendy's three times to protect our food. Protect our kids from getting sick from this Wendy's. But they failed to do anything yet and the first complaint about same issue went in a yr ago and they still have same manager there today June 22. We as in a whole car of people filmed a woman manager eating off a prep tray or dish and going back several times, fingers in mouth like a crane, and stuffing with her head back handfuls of either shredded cheese or something into her mouth wide open, and then prepping the food as if it wasn't touched and ready to start fixing your food! And we witnessed this and we all took the video with our own cameras.

We have it to show people why eating at this Wendy's isn't safe until that manager is gone! We called the corp. They said that they would fire her but she's still there and they asked us for our video. Several people have the video on their own cameras from the car and there was a car full! We still see that manager there! We called twice. They said they would get her away from food. We called again today. She's still around food! We called the health dept and gave them the info that the Wendy's corp was notified and they still have her there. The health dept was shown the video! And they mean business. Wendy's asked for the video. No they can't have it. Witnesses should be enough and they need to turn on their cameras in their prep area now!

Warning and beware this person is a manager. She needs no training. She is not moral enough to handle our food with care. We want her fired and we want you to record it so she doesn't go work around food anyplace on the east coast!!! Wendy's Putnam CT manager **! The woman who got caught on cam eating from prep trays and putting her hands into food into her open mouth inside her mouth. Her name is **. Fire her now! Yesterday, May 26, 2015, I had a friend purchase a large chili from the Jonestown Road location here in Winston Salem, NC. It was nothing but a lot of beans with very little meat. This was my second try as last week, the same thing happened. I have loved Wendy's and been a faithful customer for the last 12 years. The chili I am used to eating has pieces of meat you see in the chili (your chunks of burgers broken in small pieces in it) but in these 2 instances, you had to really look for the meat. The beans in it took over the product. Due to recent hospitalization and illness, I cannot drive so my food is dependent on my friends getting it for me. I realize expenses have risen in all eatable products but I really like the old recipe with more meat in it as before. This was a disappointing meal. Since my friend bought the chili both times, I do not have any receipt. Just thought I would share this with you.

I had went to Wendy's drive through and placed my order, after I received my order I saw that there were no spoons, napkins or condiments in my bag. Instead of going through the drive through I parked across the window and honked and asked for what was missing in my bag, so they brought it out, and I went on my way. When I went to eat my fries I noticed that they were old hard and cold. So I went to the door which was locked and asked for a refund. An employee opened the front door and let me in so I could get a refund but started saying things to me about how rude I was. I asked to speak to the manager who was talking to me and the other employee kept on arguing with me and harassing me. I told her she had a big mouth for a little girl and what she should do was get to work. The manager asked her to "please be quiet" and asked her to "please leave" to the back of the kitchen which she did.

I apologized to the manager and I explained that the children were hungry. She said she understood and explained that they were very busy. We both apologized and we were about to finish up business when the abusive employee returned and came from the back smirking. I said good night to the manager thanked her and turned to leave, when the abusive employee yelled out laughing "have a good evening." I turned around and asked the manager to "please control her" but then a male employee came up and started saying things to me. Also telling me he didn't like my attitude and was going to call the cops.

At that time both of them were walking towards the counter. One employee was holding the abusive girl telling her to be quiet and to stop and at that time the manager had to hold her hand out to tell them to stop and yelled at her employees to get them under control. I did feel threatened when they started walking to the counter and said she was going to have to call the main manager if they didn't stop. I apologized to the manager turned and left. I did get the manager's name and number to report the incident.

We were completely ignored. In the meantime, we could see that gloves and hygiene were not a priority here. I have read in other posts that if employees are black and the customers are white they won't get good service. I don't know if that is why we got such a bad service. One day I decided to give it a try and I was actually impressed. The quality seemed decent for what they were charging. Tonight however I decided to eat it after a few months and I have to admit it definitely reminded me why I want to quit eating fast food in general. I got two chicken crispy jrs and when I got home I was seriously disgusted that I paid 1.39 for a small burger with literally a single, SMALL piece of lettuce. Are you kidding me? I should have invested those $3 in a legit burger at Red Robin or BJs. What a disappoint. I will never eat there again. I guess the portions match the buildings and reputation. Great job Wendy's!

I really like Wendy's chili. A lot. It's not as good as my wife's, but I can get it any time I want. The problem is consistency. You would think it would be the same at every location. Right? Wrong. Some stores like to water it down. I have complained to Wendy's, but they don't even care to reply to me. It would be like a frosty that has been kept at room temperature for a few hours. Since I am a road warrior, I am actually going to have to start a log so that I know which Wendy's to avoid. If they water down the chili, what else do they do?

The reason I am writing this today is that I am on the road. I have looked forward to my chili all day. I went through the drive through and got my two large chili's. I got to the motel and not only was it watered down, but one of them was only 2/3 full. They got me both ways. So, this particular Wendy's at 3621 IN-38, Lafayette, IN goes on the list. So does the one near my office at 3333 W Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV. Maybe I will start a website if it's not taken. WateryWendysChili.com.

On 12/19/2014 I went to the friend's house to pick up $1,000, the money for the materials I bought to help her replace her kitchen cabinets and remodel the kitchen. On the way home, I stopped with my family at Wendy's to eat. This was around 8:00 PM. I realized the next morning that I forgot my purse at the restaurant. I drove back to ask if anyone has turned in the purse. I was relieved when the female manager said they found it . She gave me the purse and the list of the things they wrote that were in the purse. She said they had to do it in case something was missing. Listed on the list were some (not all the credit/debit, shopping cards and just the two of IDs in my wallet, there were 4 IDs) and $76 in cash. They even opened the envelope in my purse and wrote the contents! It was a big envelope with my son's action figure I bought online. But most of the things in the wallet were not listed.

I told them that $1,000 was missing and the manager got upset yelling that that their employees didn't take it. My husband told her to calm down and try to put herself in our shoes. We said, "We're not accusing you but we need help to find out what happened." She told us that it was another customer that found the purse and gave it them, so maybe they took it. She was VERY defensive. I proceed to call the police and the manager wouldn't give me the Wendy's address at first. I finally got her to give me the address and while we were waiting for the police, the manager was calling last evening shift manager, got out and talked on the phone in Spanish. The other (male) manager came and he too said that they are not responsible and it's my fault for forgetting the purse. I told them I know that but if someone takes the money that doesn't belong to them that's stealing and that I am just trying to get my money back and that I don't know why are they rude to me and that they should be working to get to the bottom of it, instead just blaming me for forgetting the purse.

This happened on 12/19, 6 days away from Christmas! The female manager asked me what time was it when I came to Wendy's, I told her I don't know exact time but I know I was at the restaurant from about 8 to 8:30. She then went in the back to check the security cameras. I called my friend that paid me $1,000 the night before to come and confirm my story about the money in case the police asks. She came and explained it to the guy manager. She even said she can get the bank slip showing she took out $1000 the day before. My friend, the man manager, me and my husband were trying to assure each other that we all understand the situation and we're not accusing anyone and we just want to find out what happened to the money. The female manager added (again very defensively).

The police came. One cop went to talk to the managers, the other one came to talk to us. We explained the story, he then went back. They all went in the back to check the cameras. The police officer came back after about 10 min. and told us that on the surveillance there is footage of us leaving the restaurant and and my purse is visible hanging on the chair after we left. Then the shift manager comes and takes the purse. Then there is a footage of her in the back office checking the purse and writing the list. There was no footage of what happened in the time frame between when she took MY purse to the office to make the list.

I am 100% sure my money was in the wallet when I was paying for the meal and the only explanation is that the Wendy's manager took the money where there are no cameras. Disgusting person with no human decency. I used to be Wendy's regular customer but never again! What they did to their customer was right out stealing! They put their hands in my purse and went through my stuff and took my money. That's the God's truth! No shame, no Christmas spirit, no values! Shame on you. What comes around goes around.

This Wendy's is known for their bad service along with every other fast food place in Poquoson. My family and I ordered 3 orders of the 10 pc chicken nuggets in the drive thru. After paying we were directed to wait in a parking spot along with other customers waiting for their food as well (aka not fast food). After waiting for 25 minutes we drove through the drive thru again, of course we got no help or response from any employee. We FINALLY got our food but of course they forgot our drinks. Our simple order became a chaotic event that ruined our night.

The young lady leaned out the window and said "Please don't throw trash in our parking lot. We have to pay someone to clean it up." I asked what she was talking about she replied "The employee at the first window told her I threw my receipt out the window. So I showed her the receipt he gave me since I still had it and she didn't back down. She was rude and hatefully while smiling this big I am in charge grin. And insisted that I had thrown my receipt out my window. I have emailed twice and called 3 times only one was not ignored and I received an email from the manager saying she was sorry and she would take care of it internally. I took that to mean sorry you contacted us.

I was told to send a copy of my receipt, I said you don't get a receipt at Wendy's until you get your food and receipt is on the tray or bag. I was told more less I was a liar by the person on the phone also. After the way I was treated I will never take myself or my family to another Wendy's as long as I live and because the way I was treated my friend who was with me that day heard it all and has not been back for his self or with his family. I hurried back to our office because I knew they were hungry & could not get away from the office. After searching through the paper bags, the burgers were left out. (I had my receipt.) So my wife called Wendy's. They sincerely apologized, and they found the burgers that were forgotten. Wendy's is mailing us a coupon to more than take care of it -- going above & beyond to make things right. I am proud of the Wendy's (50313) because they admitted their mistake. This Wendy's location will continue to be our favorite location. Always great food, and fast & friendly. FIVE STARS in my book.

I agree with the comments about Wendy's management staff, they are worthless. Wendy's need to hire a more professional management staff. They treat their customers any kind of way and they are very unprofessional. The restaurant on Harford Road in Baltimore, Maryland is the worst! They condone their store manager to assault her baby's father in the store parking lot, then return to work after he was taken to the hospital. I guess it was ok with Wendy's because it was a women doing the domestic violence act so that made it ok.

We had people filing complaints with Wendy's, but since the baby's father’s parents know some of the witnesses they did not believe them. Rest assure Wendy's did not believe them, even though we have a police and hospital reports, but their voice will be heard when she is brought up on charges. Wendy's may not care, but the courts has charged her with 2nd degree assault. Don't worry she is still working at Wendy's on Harford Rd in Baltimore, Maryland as a manager. Maybe we will get justice in the courts since Wendy's don't give a damn about domestic violence. Oh I forgot, it's ok with them because it was not a man assaulting a woman!

There were two employees working registers, one talking and flirting with a black man at the counter, the other taking an order from a woman who could not speak English and working another lost order issue. A white lady who seemed to be in charge told them two times, "You have customers to wait on" and they just blew her off. When the lady waiting on people in front of me got done she just walked off.

Then the other lady shooting the bull with the black guy turned around and walked off when the guy left. I stood there another two minutes and no one came to wait on me. It appeared the entire staff working there was black, except for the white lady in charge. I heard her say again "we have customers to wait on." I turned around and told my wife we were leaving, that the staff would not wait on us. I am a FURIOUS EMPLOYEEE!! I work for store#1834 in Melbourne Fl. Name is DeArana **. I have been at Wendy's for a year and seen the in and outs of that place. The atmosphere is terrible and discouraging! This why Wendy's lose good employees because y'all are giving people manager positions who DO NOT KNOW how to talk to people. Wendy's can't even keep new employees because your so call managers are rude and disrespectful and they run new people away! People aren't being trained because your MANAGERS are too lazy to get up off their BUTTS and train people!!!!

I understand Wendy's is a job and someone has to do it but y'all need understand people lives DO NOT revolve around that place! We as employees shouldn't have to suffer for other people absence or those who quit. Is that not what a manager is for? To fill that position until they can find someone? Just making sure. People have families and homes to take care of. I can only speak for myself but I'm tired of talking and these managers aren't listening. This is how people get raped and murdered! I continued to tell them stop putting to work with one of the younger managers because he's upset about personal problems. He has called me out by name, MIND YOU in front of our General Manager!

Every time they put me on schedule with this young man, there always seem to be a problem. I try not to speak to him because I know how I can get. Mind you he written me up on 10/15/2014 twice in one night. The reasons weren't even valid enough. He just wanted to write me up for nothing. As of today 10/21/2014 I ignored him as soon as I clocked in at 5. I told myself to just keep quiet and not say anything. Of course he then bothers me and ask me to step into his office with the GM present. I said "I don't like working with you and I don't need to speak to you." Out of pettiness he told me "clock out at 8:30" that is it. I called my GM-Tan and let her know.

EVERY TIME I am on that schedule with him, altercations happen and it's petty and pathetic. He is very disrespectful and rude and say vulgar comments under his breath or to other employees. If the definition of your managers is a person that is rude and disrespectful y'all might as well go out of business. If the managers would listen to people and stop focusing on filling people in their schedule, stupid things like this wouldn't need to happen. "A manager - a person responsible for controlling or administering all or part of a company or similar organization". Wendy's need to retrain their managers on what a MANAGER is and the task of a MANAGER.

If everyone is treated with respect and talked to sensibly, my store would have a solid team but because we have ignorance running around, the place is falling apart. I'm fed up and tired of it all! Wendy's need to retrain their people correctly or stop putting ignorance in a position it doesn't belongs. No wonder why people are always quitting because the managers are very RUDE! Employee shouldn't have to be treated like that. Not even just at my store but anywhere else. The atmosphere should be welcoming and excited to work in. Nobody wants to be around miserable managers yelling and screaming at you all the time. A customer shouldn't have to witness cruelty coming from a MANAGER! Employees are busting their butts to get their job done but can't seem to get the proper training.

Wendy's need a whole new training system and some serious rules. Nobody should feel worthless or discourage after putting their all into a job. It's absolutely not right. WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS. The things employees do on night shifts DO NOT get acknowledge at all. It sad and not right. What's the use of having managers for? They act just like regular employees but only with little more authority. Something has to change! Your company can't keep employees because of your managers and your rules. To actually be able to change someone's schedule because it doesn't meet the GM's needs. To have to be flexible for a job that doesn't pay the bills is crazy.

If you have an employee that knows the job and can do it exactly the way you ask, to be pushed or forced to quit is just wrong. There's no one to fix the problem because you guys are all affiliated. I think this is very wrong. If this person comes to work and does their job why should it be a problem? I think you guys should evaluate your managers before they actually become one. To turn someone's life around because they feel like it is not a business. It's a power trip. I suggest that you guys start investigating your managers and not your workers because they are the root to your problems.

Most of these times, it sounds like 2-3 people are talking to me. The receiver is full of static and very low, so I'm not sure how new or updated it is. Also during each time, someone has raised their voice to get through which comes off VERY rude. The last time, it was actually the store manager, **. He said, "We waiting on you..." in a loud, impatient voice after they realized I couldn't hear them. I told them myself I couldn't hear them and I waited for the static to phase out.

I did put in my order but I drove up to speak to him to voice my concerns because this has happened several times. He also seemed to ignore my concerns when I voiced them even though I was professional about it. He did admit that they have had issues with the receiver and he doesn't recall "yelling" at me. I told them, that is how it comes off when you have several people talking to you and then you come on the air loud and with the words, "We waiting on you!" That's not cool. Wendy's at Pilot in Dunnigan, CA, where I ordered #2 'hot n' juicy' with an advertisement 'take a bite' amongst a 'Born to be Bold' sign, therefore thinking it would have some type of spicy to it - wrong... After I went up to ask about it, the manager explained it's not the case, it's just a double cheeseburger, nothing else to it. He even attempted to exchange the sandwich for something spicy... So it's not the facility but rather Wendy's 'PR' it advertisement being deceiving to just turn a fast buck, which they did, all $8.99 worth.

So I called Customer support and they have nothing more to say. "We advertised it correctly and sorry for the inconvenience" - yet they didn't earn that money, but why should they care? They're a big corporation and really don't care about consumers, because I've made complaints before about quality of food and rsst uranyl, amongst good ones and they never even go to the stores or for my knowledge to anyone other than a computer that disentangle care either. Wendy's to go good on the 'appearance' for people, yet when it comes to turning a buck, they real don't care about the consumer, but at least the Manager tried to make it right, where the corporation takes the feedback and doesn't concern themselves with it in realism... Being a trucker, I hope that the food and advertisement at their faculty are the same product being expected by the consumer, yet it is false advertisement as far as I'm concerned.

We are frequent buyers at Wendy's. On Sunday, 5/26/13, in Silverdale, WA, we stopped in for a Frosty. I ordered a medium and my wife ordered a small. What we got was a child's size in a paper cup, and a small in a plastic cup. I asked the teller about the sizes. They said that's what we ordered. The frosty that we got wasn't even frozen. It was like a runny chocolate Malt. I was on my way home and said I would give them one more chance, but every time I think about it, I need to say something. If Wendy's is going to follow the trend of packaging things smaller and with less quality just to make profit, you just lost a customer.

I have had problems at this location before (3/15-ish/13) and had another problem at the 10729 Park Rd, Charlotte NC location. It was a simple order (3 things - Baconator combo, spicy chicken nuggets and a drink; and all they got right was the drink). I tried to tell the DM and he blew me off. I wrote a letter to the BBB and the franchise ignored it. After calling for 3 weeks, I finally got a call from the DM, and he started off with an attitude. He yelled at me and even told me to shut the hell up. He also said that he refused to refund my money (a whopping $8.53) and that I can call who ever I want because he knows everyone; and they love him, and his job is secure, and so on. I was blown away with the way he talked to me. He even said that I can take my business to Chick-fil-A. Well that is what I am going to do! I have never been treated so badly by a company ever! I don't even know what to do anymore.

Well, at 9:30, I was told that breakfast was no longer being served so I settled for a burger. Well, it was a bad idea as it must have been leftover from last night; it was terrible. But here's the kicker. 4 people after me went up and asked for breakfast so she asked the manager. She said several people asked for lunch at 9:00. The manager was rude. We'll never stop in VA again. In fact, we will never stop at Wendy's again. I guess you have to be a rocket scientist to work there.

It took about 6 or 7 mins. I ordered the fish with no tartar but with mayo, lettuce and tomatoes. I ordered the chicken with no mayo. I can't have mayo. I got the fish with nothing - just plain. I got the chicken with lettuce and tomato and mayo. Totally ridiculous. I tried calling but no answer. I tried again - the same. An hour after waking up from the nap, my 2-year-old son and I threw up all night. Thinking it was the flu, we went to the hospital. The doctor told us that my son and I had food poisoning. Now to remind you, I never said anything to the doctor about what we ate that day. Wendy's was the first and only meal I ate that day, and look at the outcome. I ended up going to the hospital for food poisoning. It was unbelievable. I have had some bad service from fast food restaurants and have the time. I can't stand McDonald's, but I will never go back to Wendy's. I am going to post this comment on every website I possibly can to get the word out about this food. Call it poor management or the "I don't want to be here" syndrome because they were running that counter like a drill sergeant at boot camp. The female counter person yelled "Next" instead of "May I help you!?" She also would leave the counter for long periods of time to collect orders and flat just let the customers pile up and wait! Very poor service! When I ordered a Baconator, I was given a smaller version (Son of Baconator). When I returned the mistaken sandwich to the counter, I was given the correct sandwich after some hassle conversation with whoever was in charge. I wish Dave Thomas was alive. He was formally from Fort Wayne, IN where I live and by all accounts a great guy! I don't think Dave or Wendy, for that matter, would stand for poor service and employees from this location! My family and I recently stopped at a Wendy's in Ottawa, Ontario for lunch. We were excited because we have all enjoyed Wendy's for many years. Our order for the 3 of us came to about $30 Canadian dollars. I asked for a Son of Baconator. When we got to our table, we first discovered that the fries were dry and almost cold. Then when I bit into my SOB with a napkin and paper wrapped around the bottom (force of habit), something started dripping down my chin. I looked and there was a steady drip of pure grease dripping onto my new shirt and on the tray! I ruined a new shirt!

When I touched the puddles on the tray, I discovered it was thick pure oil of some sort! Disgusting. The patties were dry and crisp outside and almost raw. The bun was toasted and soaked in greasy substance. It was the most disgusting meal I have had at Wendy's in 25 years! Dave would turn over in his grave if he knew this was happening. I took the tray back and approached the manager, pointed it out, wiped my finger in the now cold grease and she said, "We have them that way because we want to make sure that our burgers are fresh!" This was far from fresh. Well, she offered to top off my drink!

A $35 shirt and bruised pride after. It was the very worst I have ever, ever encountered. Being a senior on fixed income, I can't waste money like that on a meal for my family that wasn't worth the paper it was wrapped in. It was Wendy's on Innes Road Ottawa, Ontario. I am contemplating on reporting this to the health department and taking legal action. Thanks for your attention and a response would be great.

My daughter, who is 17, went to Wendy's for a summer job. Orlando, who is the manager there, said she was hired. She filled out all the forms, got working papers, and brought them back. Then we heard nothing from them. She asked about the start date, and he said he would let her know. She called several times to find out and was always told the same thing: "I will call you to let you know." I told her to go there on July 17 to find out what is going on, and they gave her the W2 and said to have me (her mother) review it. Because this is her first job, she was extremely excited but misunderstood or they didn't tell her correctly. But she said I needed to go there to fill out a form. I didn't understand why but went there and spoke with Orlando.

I advised him that my daughter said I needed to fill out a form, and he brought out her file with everything in there. He said the file looked complete and there wasn't anything I needed to do. I asked when would she be started, and he said that Friday. He wanted her to come in at 10:30 to start her training. When I got home, she showed me the W2 Form and said this needed to go back. I told her that she could bring that with her on Friday, because Orlando advised me that no other papers were due at that time. On Friday, one hour prior to her leaving, Orlando called my daughter and told her that she couldn't come in because there was an inspection and that he would call her the next week to let her know when to come in.

Because they gave her the days of Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, I told her to call on Tuesday - the day the supervisor said that because she didn't bring her papers back (W2), she lost the spot. She said to call Orlando to find out if he could get her another spot. I called her to find out what had happened, and she said that had my daughter brought back the W2, then she would have kept the spot but now Orlando gave it to someone else. I advised her of my meeting with him and he didn't say anything about bringing the W2 back up to him on that day. I explained that had she started when he said, she would have brought it back then. I told her I would call Orlando this evening but decided against it, as he has continually lied to her and I'm tired of hearing the lies. With all the identity theft going on now, I'm being proactive to try to prevent a potential problem of my daughter's identity being stolen. I am also filing a complaint with the Prosecutors' Office in Middlesex and the FTC.

I felt humiliated in front of my two children, who I was buying dinner for at the time. I asked for a receipt and he snatched it and walked away. I asked for the manager, he said he was the manager. I asked for his name and he said, “You don't need my name.” The man was very abusive in front of his employees at me. He kept yelling, “Your order is not in here, stop cutting the drive-thru line for about 3 minutes,” before he entered the order again. All the time stating that I should wait my turn instead of cutting the line. In the meantime there were 4 cars behind me waiting for their food, while this man was too busy berating me in front of my kids.

I asked the girl for the phone number to complain, and he ran back, yelling, “There is no number, go to next window.” Meanwhile, there was already a minivan at the other window waiting for their food. I asked the girl at the 2nd window for a receipt and she said you should have gotten one from the other window. I continued to say he kept my receipt, and then she looked at the massive amount of receipt printouts in front of her and found my order. The info on my receipt is register 4, time was 7:50pm address was 331 Rockaway Turnpike, Lawrence, NY. I tried calling the number at the bottom of the mini receipt I was given, 516-371-2346. And for 1 hour after 10 rings someone would pick up and then hang up the phone. I will never frequent this Wendy's ever again. Then I was told that we would have to drive back around to place separate orders, in a very disrespectful manner. I was shocked! There was no one behind us at that time and I have been an active patron of this Wendy’s for the last five years and have never been subjected to this type of disrespect. I have had split orders several times before, so I was confused on what the big deal was.

Furthermore, even if they told me they couldn't have split the orders, that would have been perfectly ok. But to ask me to drive back around is crazy. I then drove up to the window to attempt to place our order and then I was told I'd have to drive back around in a cocky manner. I was absolutely shocked that, for the fourth time, our order was being denied. I started to just drive off and then I felt like I needed to make a manager aware of this incredibly unprofessional situation.

I reversed back up to the window and I asked to speak to a manager. I was told by Aerial that she was the "manager" in a very sarcastic manner and she stood firm in saying I'd have to drive back around. By this point, there were several cars in line and this is nearing five minutes. There were several team members that all rushed up to the window and a few of them had some comments to add.

In addition, one gentleman in particular who was very tall, started to yell out of the window at me before being restrained. I am completely disgusted and appalled that I was treated like this. It is absolutely mind boggling that this would even occur. I know that this isn't the way Wendy's wants their brand represented.

We went around 9:40 PM and the doors were locked. The janitorial lady was cleaning the lobby and said the manager said it was closed!

I don't think that the sign should say “open till 11” if they are going to close 2 hours earlier. Plus my friend’s boyfriend used to work there and also said that the reason they do this is to go get high in the back.

I have no proof of this but would really like it investigated. Thank you. It happened yesterday, August 14, 2011!

I ordered #5 combo and asked for no salt on fries and large regular chocolate Frosty at about 5:00PM or so. Worker put Frosty and drink on the counter. I watched the worker put frozen fries in deep fryer. I waited for a long time, saying maybe less than 10 minutes, and Frosty began to soften like melting. They moved me to the side of the counter and served other people first. I was there first before them. Why? I am deaf. They need to treat everyone equal. I watched workers' performance. They talked too much although they would tell you that they were waiting for fries to be cooked. Why I got my fries and hamburger cold instead of hot. So I asked for my money back, but the manager won't let me and gave me the cold hamburger, fries and melted Frosty.

You want me to rate Wendy's in Pearl? I am sorry to say that I rate it none. My deaf sister went there first to order her food while I waited in the truck. I waited for her for a long time. When she came out of Wendy's, I went there to order my food and she waited for me for a long time too.

It did not happen first time, but many times. We, deaf people, begin to lose our respect for your company. We are very sorry that they served us very poorly. Not only in Pearl, but all over in Jackson, Mississippi. We, deaf people, will fight for our rights if you do not do something about our rights.

    Have a good day,

Friday, July 27, 2011, me and three other family members stopped to eat at Wendy's at Main St. at 610 So Loop. As we were finishing our meal, a friend discovered a fried roach in her french fries. We were shocked! We didn't eat another bite.

I asked for the manager to view the finding. He stated that the exterminator had been notified and that he was sorry and a full refund will be given. We felt sick to find good size bug in our food. We stayed a while longer to see if the manager would throw out the contaminated oil, well it didn't happen. The crew kept serving french fries.

I frequent this Wendy's several times a month, usually at lunch hour with good service. On March 11, 2011, I visited the restaurant at a later time, around 3 pm. Business was relatively slow with 4 people including me in line. Two young girls at the front of the line appeared to be placing complicated orders as they stood conversing with the cashier for an extended period. After a while, I determined the two girls were friends of the cashier, and they were having a personal conversation.

I was next in line and established eye contact with the cashier, at which time she moved in front of the cash register and stared at me without saying anything. I then asked if she was ready to take my order. She said, "Yes". My order was simple, a combo no. 2, large size with a diet Coke. It took her two tries to repeat the order correctly. I also told her that the order was "for here". The order was filled rather promptly but bagged for carry out. I told her it was "for here" and that I had told her that once before. She then becomes defensive and starts arguing with me.

Meanwhile, there are five employees there. One working the drive-through, one making burgers, two joking with each other, while one is also texting, and the girl I was dealing with. I ended the event by informing the girl that I was unhappy with the customer service and would like to speak to the manager. She said, "Sure, there's one here, and here, and here," pointing to three other employees. They then all broke into laughter. I ate my food and left.

An ongoing problem that has emerged in places which still utilize high schoolers as the majority of fast food workers is the number of "friends" who appear in these restaurants to converse with the workers. Often, they place a small order and then loiter around the counter exchanging small talk. Other customers are delayed or made to feel marginalized. Many of these young workers have smart mouths that would have gotten them fired in previous eras. Everybody appears to be a shift manager with no accountability for their subordinate's actions. Dave Thomas would not be proud.

On August 18th, 2010, my mother brought home Wendy's from the store at 104 N. Center Street in Joliet. I popped chicken nugget into my mouth, chewed it, and swallowed. Something got caught in my throat. My mother, being a retired CNA, told me to induce vomiting. The guilty party was a poultry bone. My throat was raw for 3 days. I went through the usual channels at Wendy's, and their district manager handed me over to Tyson Foods.

This has resulted in me not being able to speak or breathe right for 3 days. The bone being stuck gave me a panic attack, and I take anxiety meds, The panic attack resulted in a full blown asthma attack. The night was very frightening. Bart *** said that because I did not go and see a doctor, I was entitled to anything but 2 food coupons from the company that caused the problems in the first place. The thing is, it could have been a lot worse for me. I asked for a settlement; one I thought was more than fair. No dice. Because I had a CNA right there, I am being brushed aside and shined on by this company.

I live less than 1 mile from this particular location and being single, I eat out quite often. Over the last several months, I have gone through the drive thru about 6 times but usually walk-in because my order is usually perfect when I do so. I don’t always have time to walk in so on occasion I use the drive thru. I have never had even one order right when I use the drive thru.

My orders are quite small and simple as well. I will never use this location again or any of their locations for that matter due to the ignorance and incompetence of the majority of their employees. I have walked in the last 3 times, handed my food back to them, demanded, and received a full refund. There are too many struggling businesses out there that are working hard to make their customer’s happy and Wendy’s is not one of them. I can see them going down the drain eventually if they keep up the poor service!

I gave Wendy's drive-through cashier $20.20. My total was $10.16. I didn't get the change. When I asked for my $10.04 of change, he told me I only gave him $10. I told the manager and she said she would count his register. She came out to my car and said his drawer was $4.00 short, so she could not give me my change. So I went in to see if there was another person I could talk to concerning my transaction. When I went in the store, the cashier yelled at me in front of the whole restaurant, saying that I was calling him thief (which I hadn't said). At first, I had thought he genuinely made a mistake by not giving me my change. But when I asked for it, he denied that I gave him a 20.

The manager was rude to me, so I told her that I would call the police if she refused to do something about it. Then the cashier yelled, "Yeah, right, over $10.00 of change?" Which contradicts the fact he said he didn't receive a 20. Headquarters didn't do anything either! I called headquarters and they said the camera didn't indicate he received a 20 because he has to put the 20s under the drawer and they were offended that I would imply that their employee would steal. I said that I was offended that they thought I lied about the amount I gave to the cashier. Even if it had been a 10, the camera never indicated that they tried to give me my 4 cents back either. What do you think?

To top that off I ordered a #5 Med it cost me $7.12 in which money isn't the issue but when I pay that much for fast food at a low level place the food should be good for that price well it wasn’t!

The meat was raw not all the way cooked the fries which they are suppose to be new in better tasted badly burnt. The lemonade tasted watered down I told them about this in the rude worker just said oh we forgot to change it gave me a coke instead in that was no better it was flat they rolled their eyes when I complained. I just left and thought I could take this up with corporate what a joke the number was long distance. They didn't give a care person who answered the phone just placed me on hold and never came back now I see why the Employees have very bad attitudes they know nothing is going to happen to them they get away with serving nasty food and giving bad attitudes I was all chocked up with the little nasty bite that I ate of the fries I soon felt very sick! All whilst wearing a pair of rubber gloves that looked like she had been wearing them all day long. Needless to say, I was completely grossed out and left and went to subway where I enjoyed a lovely lunch.

I immediately spit the remainder of the food out of my mouth and told my girlfriend that I thought something was wrong with my sandwich. As soon I made that statement, my girlfriend stated that my breath smelled like I consumed bleach. I immediately checked the sandwich and discovered that the whole bun smelled as if it were dipped in some kind of cleaning solution. I began to experience a slight burning sensation so I rushed to the bathroom and flushed my mouth with water. My girlfriend and I immediately went to the emergency room where we were both examined by a nurse. We both experienced nausea and my mouth had a burning sensation.

Wendy's has a Crispy Chicken sandwich for $.99. The sandwich comes with lettuce and mayonnaise. Every Wendy's I go to, I order the sandwich with cheese, tomatoes, pickles and onions. I am charged accordingly. The Wendy's in Green Acres Mall wanted to charge me an additional $1.49 to add only pickles and onions. If I wanted cheese, it would be an additional cost ($.40 I believe she said). Now, they have just changed a $.99 sandwich into a $3.00 sandwich. If I am going to pay this price, I may as well get one of their specialty chicken sandwiches, which is what they want you to do. This is a ripoff to consumers. If you advertise a smaller sandwich for $.99, and try and force consumers to pay the price for a specialty sandwich, then you have falsely advertised your product.

I went to the drive through at Wendy's in Leonardtown, Maryland today at 4:21pm. The lady came over the speaker and asked if I wanted a combo. I told her no, that I wanted a Double Stack Value Meal with ketchup and onions only with a Coke. The lady asked what size and I told her small. I pulled around to the window and gave the lady my money and she handed me my change, a soda, and a bag. When I looked in the bag, I saw there were no fries. I counted my change and there was too much. I waited for the lady to open the window and told her that my order was wrong. She told me that it was not wrong. I told her that I ordered a Double Stack Value Meal. She told me that I did not say value meal. I told her again yes I did. She raised her voice and told me again that I did not say that and she does not need this and slams the window.

I put my car in park and waited a couple of minutes for a manager to come to the window. The manager said, “Are you missing a fry???” I told her my issue was I ordered a value meal and was only charged/given a sandwich and coke. She then started to get loud and tell me that she heard me order my food and I did not say value meal. I told the lady that I was not going to argue with her and that I will give back my sandwich, soda, and change, and for her to give me back my five dollar bill. She said that was just fine and she took my change, soda, and sandwich, and she gave me back my five dollar bill. I left Wendy's and called the store to get the manager and woman's name at the window. A woman answered the phone. I asked for the manager and she told me that she was the manager. I asked for her name and she would not give it to me. She told me to look on the receipt. So I did and it said **.

Finally, she told me her name was not ** and it was **. I told her that I was the lady that was just at the store and wanted her name and the woman at the window's name and that I was going to call and make a complaint. She then asked me what my problem was with the lady at the window. I told her that the lady at the window was a nasty ** to me. Then she told me that the lady was not nasty and in a roundabout way that I am the problem. She also told me that she called her boss already about me. I told her that was fine and that I was still going to make my complaint. She then hung up on me.

I called her back and asked for her boss’s phone number and she hung up on me. I tried to get someone from Wendy's corporate office on the phone, but no one was in the office to take my call, so I was told. I finally left a complaint with customer service and told them that I would like a call back. I was told that if I don't receive a call back within a couple days, to call back. This whole problem could have been resolved if the lady would have just said I did not hear you, let me correct the order. I was willing to pay the difference, but was never given the opportunity.

A fast food restaurant should never have a person handling the window who has no customer service skills. I also can believe that Wendy's has this lady ** as a manager. She has no customer service skills like her employee and no management skills. If she had management skills, this issue would have been solved at the store and I would not be making this complaint right now. I was embarrassed by the whole situation, in front of customers that were in the store ordering, customers behind me in line that heard the whole thing, and by other employees that were listening.
