Chipotle has specialized in fast-casual Mexican cuisine since 1993. The company offers customizable burritos, bowls, tacos and salads, using a build-your-own approach. Last Saturday went to Chipotle to eat, and wait for a client that I was supposed to meet next door at the coffee place 2 hours later. I ordered a bowl of black beans, rice, lettuce, tofu (they said it is non-GMO) and sauce of tomatoes, onions like pico de gallo. While eating I worked on my computer around 35-45 minutes when I started feeling sick in my stomach with pain, cramps, discomfort. I was almost done with the meal, had a bit left but couldn't continue eating. I was sweating cold and felt dizzy. While putting my computer in the computer case felt I needed to throw up, so I called for help to the counter person. They saw me pale and sick and brought me near the bathroom, where I fell by the floor with very low blood pressure. The employee that was with me gave me water, brought me inside the bathroom, where I had diarrhea and vomit several times. It was very scary. I was very weak and shaking. They called the paramedics.
When they arrived, they confirmed my blood pressure was very low and I couldn't breathe normal from the vomiting and weakness. They took me to the hospital where the doctor saw me and confirmed it was food poison. I have the diagnosed from the hospital. They did all kind of test to see if it was something else. The test were normal. I knew I was well before I ate at Chipotle restaurant. I saw clients that afternoon. I have normal energy, and my blood pressure is always normal. The diagnosed from the hospital, FOOD POISON, which can occur within one hour to 24 hours depends on the amount of bacteria enter in the system, and the person's digestive tract reaction to it. My case, I was lucky it happen soon. Imagine if it happen one two hours later when I was with my clients or driving home. Chipotle Safety Department called me 2 days later. They didn't apologized. They ask me questions about that day.
The lady told me that they didn't think it was food poison according to their perspective because nobody else got sick that day. I asked about the expenses from the paramedics (which is very expensive) and the hospital bill. She said that they won't pay for any expenses and if I need to talk to them again I need to hire a lawyer, because that is their process. She said we are a BIG company and that is how we function. She gave an address and that was it. Just by curiosity I checked in the internet. By my surprised, Chipotle has several cases of food poison, in different states. Check by yourself. I don’t think it is safe to eat there, especially in California where lately they have other cases of food poison.

Our company did a group online order. The order was picked up successfully and brought back to the office. When I opened my burrito bowl I was in shock on how much was in the bowl. It wasn't even a normal order. Very little rice when I ordered extra, asked for extra chicken, paid for it, there was no extra chicken, and asked for extra cheese and had very little cheese on it. If the online order form asked for comments on extra's are they not being read?

I am an Acid Chipotle patron. I frequent their establishment often at least a few times a week. I went to the one at 5175 Peachtree Parkway Norcross GA 30092 and normally at other locations the employees have their hair pulled back in a bun or the guys have on hats. This location in particular doesn't require either. The girl cooking in the back had a long loose ponytail. She was playing in her hair and swinging it casually as she was talking with the other employees. She then came out in the front and began prepping food to be set out in the food case. I thought perhaps she was on break but when I received my chicken bowl there a strand of hair about 10 inches long mixed in with my chicken when I took a bite. My wife and I have never been more disgusted.
We reported the incident to the manager who offered us a new plate (which would have been from the Same Batch That the tainted food came from). NEEDLESS TO SAY: We Declined. I am completely turned off from this establishment now unless they establish better sanitation habits and enforce a standard hairnet or hair maintenance policy.

I have been to Chipotle a moth ago in San Mateo California and noticed that there was a fly/insect in the lettuce. When shown it to one of your employee we got the money back. Today, I have order Chipotle online through postmates.com, the service was good and the food reached within time. Once I started having it, I have seen two flies/insects in my burrito bowl. I understand that your products are organic and fresh produce but does that mean they don't clean it well? I started vomiting after seeing the two insects because at that point I already had some Chipotle. I have taken the pictures of the flies as a proof. Giving back a refund wouldn't help customers if you don't serve clean food. There is no point to go to Chipotle when I want to have healthy food. DO you have any solution?? Please zoom the picture and you can clearly see the flies.

10 years ago when I first started going to Chipotle, it was one of the most delicious things I had ever had (at least for $7). I was hooked immediately and spent the next 10 years eating Chipotle at least three times a week. Over the years, I noticed that the size of the burrito started getting smaller and smaller and the employees were becoming more rude and more stingy with portions. Then a couple more years passed and I noticed it wasn't tasting nearly as good, ingredients weren't as fresh, the taste wasn't nearly as powerful and delicious as it once was, growing more and more disappointed with what used to be my favorite restaurant watching it slipping slowly into sellout/fastfood mode.
Fast forward to today I had the absolute worst burrito I've ever eaten... Not just at Chipotle but the worst burrito I've ever eaten from any restaurant... It tasted literally like cardboard and I couldn't even finish it. After 10 years of loyalty, I am absolutely done with this sellout cop out company and I am going to spend the rest of this company's existence telling everyone that will listen what an incredibly terrible company they've become, as well as telling them about their inedible food. DONE with Chipotle!

The last interview was with a manager named Anna... whom which decided I did not meet the 13 requirements. Of which was new to me. Christopher felt my knowledge of cooking was good enough... yet Ms. Anna waited to tell me on a 3rd interview that I didn't fit requirements that was never listed.

Me and my co workers ordered lunch. We were missing chips and salsa and a side of guacamole. I called the store and the guy told me they gave it to us. I asked to speak to the manager, a woman came on and said the same thing. So I guess they're calling us liars. Great way to treat a customer, we called the corp office and they advised us to call customer service. Very poorly run business. Disappointing!

Been going to this Chipotle in Fountain Valley for two years now. Just last month I decided to go to other Chipotles and see how my burrito is made. First off, I don't feel I'm being treated different by the staff in any way. I also know that it is a hard job working in the food industry and I give people chances to prove themselves. Today was last time going. I get the same burrito in 3 different Chipotles and wrapped very well from all three different places. With great customer service. Every time I come here I get the same runner and the same thing happens to me. I get poor customer service and handling of the product I'm buying. Please train your employees how to wrap a burrito.

On 8/1/15 & 8/8/15, I visited CHIPOTLE AT 4768 Third Avenue BX, NY 10458. I ordered a steak burrito & a chicken bowl which both came with white rice. As I started to eat the burrito the rice was under cooked & hard & crunchy. I went back to the store on 8/2/15 & spoke to the GM, M ** & she heard my concerns & was non apologetic. On 8/8/15 I gave it another try, but I asked first to sample the rice. It was undercooked again. I spoke to assistant manager Saul. He was very concerned, professional & removed the rice & very apologetic & said the employees responsible for the rice should have added more water to it.
On 8/9/15 I reached out to the GM via telephone explained my concerns again & she blatantly told me maybe I should not come back to her store & to go somewhere else. HOW RUDE WAS THAT? Mr. or Ms. regional director of this store someone needs to have a sensitivity class for all staff. I understand that dealing with the public is not an easy task but this is what all staff applied for, not rude behavior but to uphold the store's protocol. Most likely I will return to that location to see if staff is following food standards. Also I notice employees coughing in their hands not washing them, wiping their face in a open faced kitchen. Thanks.

I have tried to reach out to Chipotle several times and to bring to their notice the racist nature of servers at Chipotle at Short Pump. I have been visiting the place for close to 7 years, and I have almost always noticed that there is no clear criteria of how much rice is being given in the bowl. The servers don't measure how much rice is being given to each person and most of the times they will cringe if you bring this to their notice. The reason I said racist was because this is not done to people of certain color.
I have closely observed the amount of rice in the bowls of people and I have noticed that they are always given more than others. Kindly look into the practices of this particular establishment but more importantly bring consistency in your practices about how much of each items is served when everyone is paying the same amount. Every customer should feel valued and amount of food should be exactly the same for the price being paid. Looking forward to your response.

Finally an establishment that offers me the nutrients I need, all for less than a large meal at McDonalds. I live in Louisiana, in the Metairie area and I frequent Chipotle quite often. Recently I went inside the one in Elmwood shopping center and I was outraged at what happened. This very young girl greeted me and she was VERY polite, great interaction with customers and she talked clearly and politely. What infuriated me was her "manager" was hovering over this poor girl and making fun of every little thing she did. The young girl touched my burrito (she had gloves on) and the manager yelled at her for a good two minutes while the people behind me just kept coming. Then the manager continues to just STAND THERE while customer after customer pours in. Learn to respect your employees, they're people too.

I waited as they fumbled through this order and the line backed 20 people deep, then I look down to see them throwing stuff on my fajita bowl without asking me what I wanted. So now are they going to make me another and back the line up even more or do I tell them to keep their fajita bowl and leave? I choose the latter. There has to be a better way to make phone orders like have a separate area set for them or just don't do them at all because this was ridiculous.

2 weeks ago, the service scooped up 1/2 of my lettuce that fell out of her serving spoon off the counter and put it right into my bowl. Line was too long and I was too rushed to have them remake it. Today, the line was 24 people long. As I watched for the 20 minutes while on line, 2-3 food prep guys in the back DID NOT WEAR GLOVES and made the rice, adding cilantro, etc. They directly touched the rice, pushing them from the big bowl into the rectangular containers for the front slots.
As it turns out, one of the 3 was the manager who later came to the front line to "help out" without gloves again. I then spoke to this manager to remind him gloves should be wore by the back guys as well as front servers. He said "Only the front servers need to wear gloves!!!" So, the gloves are for show! What's the point of the front servers wearing gloves if the back food preparations people are not and their facial hairs are not covered either. The only reason customers don't see the dirty is the nature of the wildly mixed bowl/burrito wrap of slop! What a dirty place!!!

I am a regular visitor to Chipotle in Los Angeles and enjoy the food and ambiance. On this particular occasion, a female employee named ** was very rude and gave me attitude making my burrito bowl. Every single item I requested made her angrier and angrier, until she talked back to me on the last two items. I order my food the same way each time and know how to speak to people properly. Her behavior was very irrational and didn't make any sense. She then asked another employee at the counter how long her break was and immediately left on her break. I don't believe I treated this employee badly in any way and believe the problem lies with the employee.
I asked to speak with a Manager regarding the treatment and all I got was a dumbfounded reaction by him. I'm not even sure if he was a Manager. He didn't introduce himself or get the employee from the back to resolve the issue. Then a female employee came out with another guy claiming to be a Manager as well. The girl tried to fix the problem but the guys seemed to not be interested in what I had to say and just agreed to refund my money after I suggested it. The girl offered a card for a free burrito on next visit, which was very nice but the problem was not fixed or will even be addressed with management about this employee's behavior. Chipotle higher ups ... need to wake up when it comes to customer service. You enter a restaurant and the line crosses the threshold of the business, poor layout. Should be more counters and not just one. People pay good money for food. The way they serve is similar to how prisons serve. The food is just plopped down. After reading many of these comments, it seems that not many people on here fully understand the company and the presence of human error (both by the crew and customers). Let me explain: I can approach this from two sides: both as a customer and also as a former employee. A few years ago, before I even thought of working in a Chipotle, I was one of the "regulars" that attended my local Chipotle. I had my fair share of good and not-so-good days.
Once, I remember, I had to wait five minutes for chicken because it was still on the grill. It was a little annoying, but the line worders behind the counter were trying to make the best of the situation. They couldn't help that they had run out of food--they weren't the ones cooking it. Unfortunately not everyone in line understood that and the person behind me in line was very much giving the employees a piece of her mind. Soon the general manager came upfront and addressed the customer and sat with her at a table and they talked for about fifteen minutes or so, and the food for her was free.
From what I picked up from their conversation (they sat near where I was) the manager explained to her that this restaurant is working on growing and becoming a better Chipotle. He then laid out the company's General model, which I'll explain in a moment. About three months later, I applied at that same Chipotle and got the Job after three interviews. First with their apprentice, (basically the GM in training) then the GM and finally the crew. I see many people who were "fired" or quit Chipotle ranting and raving that the company doesn't care about its employees. I can honestly say that these claims are extremely untrue--at least when the company as a whole is represented.
Here's how Chipotle works. When individuals are interviewed, there are thirteen characteristics that management and the crew look for. They can't be taught and are basically traits an individual needs to have in order to successfully work at Chipotle (e.g. Conscientious, enthusiastic, honest). Now though this may seem slightly discriminatory or selective, there is a purpose for it. Chipotle, contrary to what the general public may believe, is NOT, I repeat NOT A BASIC FAST FOOD JOB. The founder designed the restaurants to run similar to the kitchens in larger, five-star type restaurants. Those who are hired and interviewed are told this and warned it is high stress and high expectation, and there is an expectation for everyone who works in the restaurant to be their very best, or in Chipotle language, a Top Performer.
The goal from there is to create a culture among the crew and with the customers that is encouraging and where there is room to grow. I don't like bringing in numbers but 97% of managers started off as crew inside the restaurant. If a restaurant successfully has a team of all top performers and an encouraging culture, they become restaurateur, a highly sought after level. The bottom line is, if anyone gets fired or feels the need to quit, it is because the structure of the company is not for everyone, just like not everyone is meant to be a nurse or construction worker.
So, with all this in mind, if all of what I said is true about the company, why are there so many negative experiences? The diagnosis to this problem has several factors. One, is that the right people aren't being hired. Another is that the environment inside the store behind the counter is not good, which is not the customers' fault. What I'm saying is that while there may be many Chipotles out there that are not quite close to being perfect, the company as a whole is designed to create a better people culture. There is diversity in the crew and management, and the goal of every restaurant is clear (also if GMs don't do a good enough job of connecting and building an excellent team, they too can be demoted). The company has high standards and it's sad that they don't always get met. I recently stopped working for Chipotle due to schooling and family issues, but I wouldn't take any of my time there back.

I asked for three burrito bowls as I always do when I go here. They are so skimpy with everything. You can still see the bottom of the bowl...something I've NEVER experienced before...and for money it's suppose to get legitimate amount of toppings and meat when I can still see to the bottom of the bowl -- that's ridiculous. At least the rest of the stores give you at least two spoonfuls then if you ask for another spoonful then you're charged. But not here...they give you one spoonful of everything and charge you for more thereafter.
I ALWAYS pay no more than 25.00, maybe 27.00 the most, I ordered the same thing and keep in mind I had to get at least two spoonfuls for which I was being charged and didn't know it till I got to the register and the cashier said 43.00. I was, "What?" I've NEVER paid this much. Now either the workers give less so they can take home or do things on their own time and it won't look like they're dipping in the food or they not making fresh food the next day and they are re-using the product which isn't suppose to happen but the lack of servings that they are giving, along with the price gouging, is not cute.
This needs to be looked into 'cause this is the only store so far I've been to that does this and I go to at least 4 different one -- 3 in brooklyn and 1 in manhattan -- and I've never experienced that and best believe this will be the last time I ever go there again. And if I do I will be recording and doing a story with examples of how this Chipotles works cause it's toooo many other great eateries in that neighborhood for this one to be half ass and all it takes is for word of mouth and business will diminish and customers will be lost 'cause we don't need this type of foolery in this area.

So I ordered a burrito and took a plate in front of the cashier. The cashier took the plate and returned it again. And she called me rude. I was like, call the manager. And the manager even lectured me in front of the other customers. Seriously, being paid $9 an hr as cashier and $12 an hour as manager, is that what they are paid for? The Chipotle China Town DC is the worst Chipotle. Giving small portions, dirty place, rude line people and crazy manager. Being embarrassed in front of other customers was the worst!

Today was any other day at my local Dover location Chipotle. I came in for my usual but unfortunately due to certain people I could not get my usual. Their beans were overcooked. The new girl stuffed my rice in a bowl on a tortilla. Everything about the service was aggravating. I tried to be understanding the first time because I have worked for fastfood but these people were horrible. How they prepared my food was the icing on the cake. No manager was available. Tragic. Definitely won't be attending that restaurant anymore!!!

I worked for Chipotle for only a month before I put in my two weeks. I started April 2014 and I went home from my job crying every day. You don't get breaks, you aren't allowed to eat, you can't move from your spot for a total of four hours, and the shifts are incredibly long. If you're on the schedule from 7 am to 4 pm, you aren't leaving there until 6 pm, when they finally tell you can go. They insist on having the cashier run from the cash register to the dining room to restock the drink station, sweep the floors, wipe down tables, and gather baskets and trays, which is impossible to finish before having to run back to the cash register.
Not only that, if you come in during a day that you are not working, and they are busy, they expect you to jump behind the counter, without clocking in, to help them out. The entire staff was cult-like in their repetition of Chipotle's "rules and regulations." The niceties they exchange are completely insincere and disturbing. I put in my two weeks notice as of May 2014, and two days later, they fired me for "not meeting Chipotle's standards."
As far as a dissatisfied customer, I have had very few positive meals from Chipotle. The tortillas are often stale and brittle, the chips are soggy and over-salted, the guacamole sits in the fridge for multiple days, only scraping off the top layer of brown guacamole before putting it out again, and the meat is fatty and chewy, constantly. Not to mention the prices, but that's what comes from eating at Chipotle, so I guess I can't complain about that.

Today I visited Chipotle during the lunch hour. Upon my arrival the first lady to greet me was fairly pleasant, but when I got the 2nd gentleman, he was very rude and his exact words were "I'm a person. Look at me, don't look at the food". First of all I was very shocked to hear a worker talk to a customer like that. Second, of course I knew he was a person but if I did not look down at the food, how would I know what I wanted in the bowl. Last, the lady that took my money was also rude and I just don't appreciate being treated like that. I can always take my business and along with others some place else. I started to call all the news stations but decided to write this complaint first. I do think it was all because I was an African American.

It's our favorite place to eat and even though the past month we have went there four times, yesterday was the worst time ever. We were in line and they announced they only had one sauce but we still ordered two burritos. They were not fresh at all. They actually scraped burnt green peppers and burnt onions out of the pan and put them on my burrito. I am really upset about this. Took two bites and threw it away. The same for my girlfriend. We are really not satisfied.

I left the Chipotle restaurant in downtown Hopkins Minnesota at 2:40 pm on December 23, 2014. As I was leaving I had no intentions on ever returning to another Chipotle restaurant ever again. In all honesty it was the worst experience I've ever had ordering food. The cashier was representing her black Antichrist gauged earrings while ringing her customers up and telling them to have a nice day. Her hat was so low you could barely see her eyes and to a customer you may wonder if she was on drugs or hung over. Employees were not working and instead talking to their peers while customers were waiting for their food. From my experience the Hopkins Chipotle restaurant is delivering poor business and in turn has become a hangout for the workers' friends and the Antichrist cashier.

Between my husband, myself, our son and his girlfriend, we frequent Chipotle 4 to 5 times a month. Each time the restaurant is out of at least one of the major items; chicken three weeks ago, last week brown rice, and today both the black beans and the Pino beans and pork were out. However there is no compensation in price or discounts for future visits, considering the same price is being charged for less food. Chipotle would only lose profit if a potential customer decides not to purchase anything. The manager appears to need some training in determining the required inventory needed from previous sales history giving special attention to weekends. Every sale lost is not only a dollar lost, but a customer(s) loss as well. My husband doesn't want us to purchase food there anymore. So not sure when we'll go back.

Chipotle in West Chester, PA - I went in here to get a burrito last week and was disgusted. This girl that was at the register I guess had just got off her break because she walked past me and was still blowing out cigarette smoke from when she was smoking out front of the store. So then she proceeds to stand there and make small talk with another employee instead of doing anything to get meals sold to the customers (she's supposed to be the cashier). Then, she just stands there with a thousand yard stare right past me and, as if she wasn't standing in the front of a restaurant, proceeds to PUT HER HAND DOWN INSIDE THE FRONT OF HER PANTS AND SCRATCH HER "LADY PARTS". LIKE 5 FEET FROM ME! This girl has long braids in her hair and frequently works the cashier position. She is nasty and the fact that she would just absentmindedly do this in front of customers and think it was okay speaks volumes to the quality of staff and management at this location. I was disgusted.
The food prep area is usually dirty. They make a burrito by just slapping down a blob of say guac, meat, rice, beans. So your first bite is all guac, your second is a chunk of meat with some fat on it, third is pure rice etc. The items are supposed to be distributed evenly but they could care less. A small child who was trying to make a burrito could do a better job than them because they are Not trying. They get paid the same whether you like it or not.

They fire anyone at any time for no reason, and with no warning. This is how they do business. It is very strange. My daughter was trained on "prep" for 3 days. And although she was an excellent employee, reliable, punctual, friendly, enthusiastic and hard working, she just wasn't fast enough on the prep and was fired on the spot after less than one month. No warnings, no coaching or additional training. Just "next!". They hire and fire at the drop of a hat. The Vero Beach Florida Chipotle has job fairs every Tuesday, what business has job fairs every week that only employs 40 people! Clean the ablutions in same aprons that they lean on counter to serve food with, clean seats and tables with same cloths, do not change gloves often enough.... For example they go and clean tables, go through doors and then go help serve food and not change gloves. The bottoms of the "crunchy" tacos were wet and soft from the ingredients and the meat was absolutely bland and tasteless. Just because carnitas is the non-spicy meat choice it doesn't have to mean flavorless!! It was also dry because they don't have a "mild" salsa choice for those of us who don't like spicy! I was able to get down 1 1/2 tacos because of hunger and no other food at the office but just couldn't stomach the rest and started daydreaming about my dinner meal! They continuously give small scoops of meat in the bowls/burritos to rip people off. Something has to be done about this because I've witnessed so many arguments occur behind this... When you're paying your money you should be pleased with what you purchase and satisfied instead of having to encounter unnecessary conflict because Chipotle workers are ripping their customers off and they're charging nearly $7 for their burritos and bowls. I was employed by Chipotle for two years. I loved going to work every day. The guests are the best and everything about the food is awesome. Everyday talking about culture and recipes and what our goals were was very exciting. There were some issues, outside of work drama and results for the store's business was affected. As upper management, the current Supervisors were very demanding and didn't give much thought to us not being able to make people do what was expected. Chipotle hires people that have 13 Characteristics that can't be taught. What an awesome process.
During my time there, many people lasted, some didn't. Some like myself let go because we didn't fit into the outside activities that employees did. Holding everyone accountable and challenging the Team to be better is a requirement. I found that when it came to sexual Harassment and bringing up these issues was a red flag and I was let go. I asked several times to speak with others about the issues and some of the things that were affecting the rest of our staff. The threats to my career if certain people weren't fired were Stressful so much that I suffered a stroke last October 2013. When on medical leave, I was not notified about a Christmas party or invited to attend.
I'm very disappointed with a company that claims Food with Integrity and everything we are taught, yet treatment of staff and management is not with the same integrity. I know that there are people that do what they choose and some think differently, but what represents a company worth $8 Billion should care about those of us bothered by practices of those that represent the company that we believe in and desire to work for. In a nutshell, I'm very upset at the way I was treated not helped and then let go when practices of certain upper management that were inappropriate were turned away from For money instead of integrity.

As a former employee of Chipotle I thought I'd share some of my experiences with this particular corporation. Let me start off by saying I was NOT fired from this establishment. I only worked there part time while I attended college. Once I graduated I left to work in my field of study. The Chipotle I was employed with was in Canton, Ohio. At first I loved the job. Chipotle was one of my favorite places to eat, so naturally I was ecstatic to work there. However during my slight over a year employment I noticed a few horrible things.
First off, I'd like to touch base on what Chipotle's idea of "clean" was. A few spots in the restaurant housed sanitizer buckets that were supposed to be changed every half hour. Chipotle provided us with a timer that would beep very loudly, reminding us it was time for them to be changed. I was once working on the line, preparing food for customers when the alarm went off. I told the other two people making the food with me that I was going to step off for a second and change our sanitizer bucket and wipe down the food prep line. As I started to clean up with fresh sanitizer water and a clean towel I was reprimanded by my manager in front of customers. She asked "Why I thought I had the right to clean the line." I was taught to have integrity, to step up at my job and take action when I saw something that needed to be done. Apparently cleaning wasn't part of that. My managers began to become very sketchy to me. During the year I was employed I had 15 different managers. Only 2 of which remain with the company today.
One morning during an opening shift I was putting away sour cream I had just portioned and labeling it according to code. While putting it away I noticed a few left from the previous afternoon. It was expired according to our standards so I grabbed it and went to dispose of it. My Apprentice (second highest manager in the store) approached me asking me what I was doing. So I pointed out the dates of the sour cream I was throwing away. She then pulled out a marker from her pocket and scratched out the expired date on the one I hadn't thrown away yet. Before I could say anything she walked away with it and stuck it back in the cooler. Food with integrity?
Another manager asked me to clean up around the fax line (where we made the on line orders). Of course I did as I was told. When cleaning behind a fridge I noticed a bit of mold on the wall. I pointed it out to my GM. She took note of it and then I scrubbed the wall until it was gone. The next day she fired the girl who had worked the fax line that day.
In another instance I was carrying dishes to the dish room. A guy who was newer to Chipotle was doing dishes, he maybe worked there three weeks. We were VERY busy. He had a ton of dishes. He was going as fast as he could. Once 4 rolled around and his shift was over he was fired for not doing the dishes fast enough.
I enjoyed working on the cash register, but it had many cons. You were not permitted to use the restroom in the 7.5 hours you had to stand there for your shift. The only time you were allowed to do so was when you got your half hour lunch break that you had to eat on also. One of my fellow employees had to go so bad one day and all the managers were "doing a trash run," aka, smoking out back. She went very quickly and returned to ring out customers that had only been waiting a few minutes. She was fired at the end of her shift.
One Thursday morning I was on the opening shift. Which means my hours were from 8 to 4. We were a bit understaffed that day so I stayed until 5:30. My general manager approached me and asked me to stay a little longer, which I had no problem with since I didn't have plans that day. She then asked me to clock out, when I asked her why she replied, "we are over on our hours for the week. You'll have to work off the clock." She was asking me to work off the clock, without being paid... So illegal, yet after seeing what other people were fired for, and I needed the job I went along with it.
I also noticed on here a few comments about people feeling sick after eating Chipotle. Let me clear that up. Three times in the year I worked there the restaurant was Quarantined. Meaning none of us were allowed to work at other stores, and every day we showed up to work we had to take a health test. The test was a series of 6 questions. If you answered yes to even one of the questions you were forced to go home and have 7 days off without pay. The questions were asking about symptoms that may have been associated with an illness Chipotle kept having wind up in the restaurant. So if an employee answered yes to one symptom we were sent home, yet the restaurant was still open? Serving food to customers that had no knowledge of the quarantine? We were told if we discussed the terms of the quarantine we would be fired on the spot.
One of my fellow employees was later hospitalized for whatever this illness was. They had to remove parts of her intestines due to some sort of bacteria they found. The managers refused to disclose any more information to us than that. Shortly after another one of my fellow employees was missing from work. We were told she tested positive for salmonella and the health department required her to stay at home and not return to work until she tested negative. She was gone for over a month. Still the restaurant remained open...
So many things about that place were just off to me. People around me were fired for nonsense reasons. Like putting something in the wrong spot, or stepping away from the food prep line to wash their hands. Customers kept in the dark about a food borne illness that was infecting the employees. Yet their motto is that they have so much integrity their heads would explode? It's a double standard.
I pray this post allows other former employees to step up and discuss these issues. I know for a fact it's not just this one restaurant. I volunteered to work at others in the area to get a few more hours when they were understaffed. These issues are real.

We stopped in for burritos yesterday at the Streetsboro location at 9754 State Route 14. When we got home and sat down to eat, we noticed that the rice wasn't even cooked (crunchy rice). My husband had white rice, and I had the brown rice. My food had big pieces of fat from the meat in my food. There was very little meat in our burritos, just tons of fat. I didn't think it could get any worse, but it did. I found a hair in my food. I put the rest in the trash. Thanks, Chipotle.

Very unhappy with the quality here. When this store first opened, I gave it a try. "Dry" best described the steak burrito w/rice, cheese, avocado, and salsa. I thought, well maybe they’re working out the kinks, and left it at that. Didn't really have the desire to ever go back. I know my burritos. Yesterday, my wife was promised a carne asada burrito from a restaurant I pass by in my home town of Montebello from time to time. I forgot! I told her I'd go down the hill to Chipotle and bring her back something of like kind. I should have went to Pedros Tacos on El Camino Real instead - half the price, juicy, loaded and I'll tell you why.
Chipotle’s steak burrito was served up with very little steak, a little sprinkle of cheese, pico de gallo, and a $1.50 dollop of guacamole served up less than room temperature. I live less than 3 minutes from this store, and when my wife opened the bag and unwrapped it, she said "It's cold," and I verified it. Do you know how microwaved guacamole tastes?
I gave this store a second chance, and they absolutely blew it! By the way, just looking at the receipt right now for $8.80, and it says "Chicken Burrito". I ordered steak, but I guess that all their meat tastes the same. You know, there’s a new "Smash Burger" that opened last week right next door, and I'm told that some of the Chipotle employees are eating lunch there. What does that tell you? 2 strikes and you're...Out! This place is a total joke. Mexican? I don't think so. I'm white and will blow your burritos out of the water in my kitchen, or should I say...Cocina! Chipotle translated into English means "Crap Wrapped Cow Stack". Save your money, and go somewhere else

I visited Chipotle on Clarkson Road Chesterfield, MO 63017 approximately 11:30 a.m. on August 22, 2013 on my way to work - I start at 12:00 p.m./noon and work nearby. I requested a steak salad. As has been my experience on a few other occasions, I noticed the person preparing my food was picking up traces of food (cheese & lettuce) to put back into the metal containers of ingredients, which really was a turn off. Also, right as my order was being completed, this same worker picked up food droppings and put it into my salad, a complete turn off. Also, I have seen them do this with the meats. I told the worker, "Please don't pick up food from the counter and put it in my food..." She said, "Okay." I didn't have time to wait for her to make a whole salad for me again - it was time to make it to work. My bill was $11.82 ~ I don't normally spend that much for lunch but I decided I wanted a great salad yesterday. I was so hungry and desired the freshness of the ingredients I get from Chipotle.
This is not the first instance this has happened to me. It has happened at the location on Manchester & Clarkson Road in Ellisville, Missouri too. I decided "not" to contact the manager of the store today because I have done that before and new training was supposed to be in place for it not to happen again. Also the manager was serving as well when the worker was picking up cheese from the counter dropping it back into the container of food; not sure how long it had been laying there.
Also, I am offered a free order of food, which is great, but by "not" calling this time and making my review public, I hope they "really" do implement training for the workers not to do this as previously promised to me; to just get rid of the old food droppings on the counter and not put it back into the container as my worker did to me. I'm disappointed because this has been going on for a few years now and just when I think they won't do it anymore - it happens again. This is one of my very favorite restaurants and for the most part their food has integrity - please train your workers - company-wide so this stops happening. I hate this practice with a passion.

I feel like I have received the worst experience ever at the Chipotle in Matteson. When I arrived, I wasn't greeted. They were joking around and having a good time, and even though they saw me, I was ignored. Then a young lady noticed, still did NOT say hello, did not positively acknowledge me in any way, but said, "One minute". I was instantly displeased at her treatment. So, I waited patiently. After a minute had passed, and no one had even looked in my direction, I said, "Never mind," and walked to the door. On a second thought, I turned and asked to speak to a manager. As the assistant manager came out, the girl who was supposed to be making my order claimed that she greeted me. She did not. She attempted to make me look like a liar. It was embarrassing and stressful.
I asked for a number to call for corporate and the assistant manager coldly told me to go on the website and send an email. She was extremely dismissive and rude. She honestly did not seem to care that her employees were not properly doing their jobs. I have never been treated like this in ANY establishment, especially not a Chipotle. I went to Taco Bell instead, and while the food is not as good, the service was excellent.
I am a business owner, with a new location right across the way from Chipotle. I am also vegan and was looking for a regular restaurant that could cater to my needs. I was disappointed and totally unsatisfied with the treatment I received. I will not visit this location again, but I would like an explanation for their unprofessional actions. I will NOT recommend this Chipotle to my employees or other vegan friends.

I went at that time, but the assistant manager said he was busy and told me to go home or make another appointment. I got bailed 2 times. If they are managers, aren’t they supposed to keep time/promises? Ok, I understand that they are busy, and I’m not mad at the fact that I couldn’t get an interview. I requested more and she said it's $1 extra. Excuse me. You have got to be kidding! She said, "You get only 2 ounces of cheese." I said, "Ma'am, that is not 2 ounces." It wasn't even a spoonful and I am not exaggerating. She then gets tired of talking to me and shoves my bowl away so I quickly asked to speak with a manager. Yet the servers (especially the female servers) are usually on a mission to rush through the orders. First, it happened a couple of times, which I ignored. But then I saw a pattern (especially when the place is not crowded). You go to the front and order, say Chicken Burrito Bowl. Immediately they ask what type of rice and beans. By the time you reach the beans (1-2 ft), your bowl is filled (if you are lucky) with rice, beans, chicken; and they are ready with the salsa type. The salsa platter is at the end prior to the cheese/lettuce area. If you say "hot" salsa, you might be mistaken for "corn" (because it happened to me 3 times).
The server doesn't even make the slightest attempt to apologize. Usually I don't move from the rice station. I ask the server to add more rice, which she grudgingly does, and then ask for little bit of vegetables. My complaint was with the College Park, MD Chipotle, closest to IKEA. This is what I wrote to Chipotle's customer support:
"We ordered a bowl and a burrito. Despite telling the server more, everything regarding the bowl was measured out in 1/4 - 1/2 slotted spoonfuls, including the chicken. The end result was we got a miserable, partially full bowl. My daughter knew I was getting angry and told me to drop it. It was clear the servers were rationing. The two items cost me $17. Yesterday, Saturday, May 19, 2012, my son, daughter-in-law and I stopped for a take out order. We were on our way home from volunteering the Koman Race for the Cure in downtown Columbus. We had been there since 6:30 am and were very hungry. At about 11:30 am, we entered the store and there was a line into the dinning area. Several people came in and left because of the line. It was very warm/hot in the store. It appeared that no air-conditioning was on or working. Everyone in line was committing on the long line and the heat in the store. A customer came back because his order was not made to his satisfaction. The staff started to remake his order which was okay.
We waited in line for approximately 35 minutes or more before getting to place an order. During the wait, one of the staff went out the side door for about 5 minutes and then came back without replacing his gloves. He started making orders again. When we got to place our order, a gentleman next to us fainted. The customers in line went to his aid. Not one of your staff made an effort to help until customers started to say something. The young man did stop and tell the manager, who was outside. She did come over to the customer to look at the situation. By this time, the man behind me called 911. It was crystal clear that the staff had no idea what to do. It was apparent to all the customers that they had not been trained on what to do in case of an emergency.
The young man completing orders said that had happened several days ago and had been very hot in the store also. At that time, I said to him, "You did not change your gloves after being outside." He asked me if I wanted him to remake my order. I said no, that he should have changed them before now. He did change his gloves at that time and the word spread that the "head manager" was coming in. He ran to get an apron, which he did not have on. Isn't that something that all employees should be wearing at all times? We got our order and left. The ambulance had not arrived when we were leaving. It does not take an experienced restaurant person to see that there was definitely a problem with this site. They were not trained properly in several areas - emergency and proper handling of food.
The entire situation was not handled well by your staff. I eat at one of your restaurants in Dublin, Ohio, at least once a week. However, I will not be doing that again. This restaurant is close to my home. Going forward, this site will definitely be off my list. I would love to get in there and clean up the place. It appears that no one seems to take pride in working and doing a good job. Shame on the young people of our country. I just came back from Ireland, Scotland and the U.K. I did not see a restaurant that I ate at as disturbing as this one. I can't believe that there aren't people out there that would be glad to have this job and do an excellent job. This is the first time I have ever written a restaurant about the bad food or service and it won't be the last time either.
I am tired of spending my hard-earned money for bad service and food. By the way, the girl at the register was not a happy person and it showed. There were comments made about her from people waiting in line. This was a very upsetting situation. It is going to be very interesting to see if I get a response from this email. I am betting not! Again, this will be the last time that I will enter your restaurant which I am sure does not matter to you or your company. Maybe your CEO needs to go undercover to see what really happens in your stores.

He continued to defend his friend in a mean manner. No one apologized at this restaurant at all. I was so upset the way I was treated. I called Corporate Headquarters (Denver I believe) and spoke with Ashley, and she advised me that she will have the area manager call me, someone by the name of **. She did offer me a card for a free burrito due to the problem I had at this place, which was nice but does not help on how I was treated.
The area manager ** called me and told me that based on the video, he could see on how the server got confused on who was next, which I told him, no, the server knew that I was next as he told me that he would be right with me! Such BS, ** was covering ** - Manager's rear end on this issue. I will never, ever go back to this Chipotle and I will keep advising others to avoid this place that is located off of 67th Avenue - Hialeah, FL. To this day, it still bothers me on how I was treated as a customer. No customer should be ever treated this way! No excuse. Please avoid this place!

Long wait at the Forest Park Chipotle in Cincinnati. I don't think there is enough staff. I have been going here for a long time and there has always been long lines, but they went fast because they had staff that knew what they were doing. The first person who asks what you would like was so gross, rude and sloppy-looking. I asked for black beans in my burrito bowl. I got home and guess what? No beans. I can't believe this guy even works there, never mind being the first person you talk to. Chipotle is really going downhill. I'm not going back. It's a shame because I really liked their food.

On Saturday, March 3rd, I went to the Chipotle in Berwyn with my family for dinner. I was beginning to get frustrated that the staff was not prepared or not properly trained to handle the amount of people coming in to eat. I waited in line 30 minutes to order only to find out that they ran out of white rice, steak and chicken. I was told I would have to wait another 20 minutes for the meat to be cooked. At this time, my family had already placed their carry out order and had to wait for mine so I cancelled my order and paid for what my family ordered but with great disappointment and frustration. I must say I was shocked at the lack of service especially since Chipotle is one of my family's favorite restaurants. We are frequent customers to the Oak Park site since they have opened and have always been satisfied there as well as at all the other Chipotle sites we have been to.
What made the night worse was when we got home, my wife noticed her burrito bowl was not the one she had ordered. She was given the order of the customer that was behind us. To be honest, I even offered my services in the kitchen because I saw how ill prepared the staff was that night. Just by my observations, I knew they were going to run out of food again considering when I was ordering my food, the line was all the way to the door again. I am not sure what was cooking in the kitchen but the grill that was in front only had about eight steaks cooking when there probably should have been double or triple the amount since there was a very long line of people waiting to order. I hope there is an improvement in service to this location because it is actually closer to my home that's the Oak Park site.

The line was out to the door which was fine. I waited and as I was placing order for 2 burritos, I was told they just ran out of chicken and would be 5 minutes. They made the second Barbaco Burrito and I waited and waited. They offered me a free soda, which I didn't want. I kept waiting. The chicken arrived, but they started filling online orders first and ran out again and said only one more minute. My now cold Barbaco Burrito had been sitting at the register all this time. I finally canceled order and asked for refund. The cashier had to call the manager to refund. No apology, zip, nada. I won't be back. Worst service ever.

The spoon from the corn was put in meat bowls for other customers, the food was not hot, and the onions/peppers were burned. I went to get chips and guacamole for my son since his barbecue was cold. The employee, who was sweeping then, got the scoop for the food without washing his hands. I was disgusted and want a full refund. i will never eat at this location again. Chipotle, to me is all about health. I visit Chipotle at 1851 Morse Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43229.On two different occasions. I ordered the chicken burrito. The first time when it was time to wrap, they put a big hole in it. Instead of doing it over, they put another wrap around it. I stated I did not want all the bread, the help stated it will make you full.
I went home and called back talk to the manager who was very nice and gave me a credit for another burrito. When I went back again to use my credit the same thing happen, however this time they put it in a bowel. My complaint comes here when I talk to the manager and her comment stayed with me. I stated to her I did not want another credit, but would she consider getting another wrapper. Her comment to me was, remember they were new and that they had only been open for three weeks. My concern is should I not expect the same good service I have expected in other Chipotle, should I not be able to go in and get what I order. Maybe instead of opening, another week of training was needed so everyone would be pleased. If this had been my first time at a Chipotle, it would have been my last.

I recently lost my job and, for the first time ever, have been forced to collect unemployment. As if this has not been difficult enough, I was informed that I have been working for Chipotle for the last few months.
Now, due to this company's lack of diligence in hiring and verification process, even my meager unemployment benefits have been cut off until Chipotle decides to comply with the State's request for information/verification. As if things were not hard enough since I lost my job, I have now not received any money in over a month as a result of this situation.
This is a complete disgrace! Somehow, a message needs to get to these companies. Whether it is an honest mistake (though I'm not sure how as they are reporting with my entire name and SSN), or this is a situation with someone in trouble, illegal, or whatever the situation who is working under my name to avoid using their own. I feel that Chipotle is ultimately responsible for ensuring accuracy in these matters. But, after all, they are a huge corporation. The last time I had been in this Chipotle, I noticed a sign that stated, "Buy $25 or more in gift cards, get a free burrito on your next visit." Two days ago, I returned to Chipotle and purchased five $5-gift certificates. When the transaction was complete, I asked the cashier for my coupon. She told me I was not entitled to a free burrito because my gift cards were $5 a piece and, in order to qualify for the burrito, I needed to purchase a $25 gift card ($25 all on one card). I showed her the sign and explained to her that the sign didn't say one $25 gift card, it said $25 in gift cards--plural.
She shrugged and refused to consider my interpretation of the advertisement. I then asked for the number to their corporate office in order to express my discontent and she called over the manager. The manager reaffirmed what the cashier told me and he, too, was unwilling to consider that the sign conveyed a different message. His response was, "We just do what corporate tells us." I then asked for the number to "corporate" and was told they were not allowed to give out the phone number--that I would have to contact the company via the Internet.

I have a serious complaint with the service I received at Chipotle yesterday evening. After faxing a large order the previous night, I arrived at 16:00 to confirm that they had received my order accurately. Upon confirmation, I spoke to the manager who stated that if my order was going to be eaten at 19:30, we should pick up our food at 19:00. I arrived at 18:45 and stated that I was there to pickup a 75-burrito order. The cashier acknowledged me, told the back room and proceeded to work the register.
Ten minutes had gone by and there was no delivery of the food. At this point, I considered it late and inquired. The manager stated "five burritos left" in which, naturally, I believed. Five minutes had gone by and still there was no order. This time I asked the cashier, who went to the back and stated "five minutes" in which, naturally, believe. Five minutes further and no order. When I began to inquire further, it appeared that there were actually no burritos being made. In fact, instead of bringing the burritos from the back they halted the entire line, and made 75 burritos hastily, and in poor quality on the front store. By the time the burritos had been made, the line was far out the door and there were many people looking at me, as the culprit, for why the had to wait to eat.
After hailing what I thought was all the food to my car, the employee working the register brought one final bag and stated that was it. I thanked him and drove away. Not two minutes later, I got a call saying, "You forgot the bowls." At this point, I was furious. I stated I was late, but I would turn around and to run them outside. The employee stated okay. Pulling into a very busy shopping lot, with no available parking spots, I double parked and looked. No employee. I ran inside, still double parked, and inquired. No bowls. "Can't you see we have a line" was the reply by the employee.
Furious that they hadn't even been prepared, I stated that I expected a refund and left the store. It's an absolute joke that Chipotle can consider itself as a competitor in the catering market when a confirmed order is not only delayed by a solid thirty minutes but that the employees have little understanding of the impact that this could create for an entire event.
Please consider looking at the sales receipts for the store, as well as the order I faxed in the night before. You will see the time I actually ended up paying for the meal, and you will also notice the lengthy delay in "sales" as the store operations were suspended as they hastily made 75 burritos on the front line. What could they have possibly been doing the entire time in the back of the store during the initial 15 minutes and who in their right mind would state "five burritos" and "five minutes" when it's an outright lie.

On Monday August 23rd, 2010 my husband and I visited the store in The Kentlands, Gaithersburg, Md. On previous visits, we noticed that he would always receive varying amounts of food and the quantity was never uniform. I told him that it just depended on who prepared our food and how generous they were feeling. On yesterday's visit it was different, though. He and I were in line to order. There were a couple of people both in front of us and behind us. As the people in front of us ordered, we noticed that the ladies that prepared their food were very generous with both the meat and the other ingredients. We thought that we had come on a good day.
When it was our turn to order, his burrito and my bowl was the very minimum amount. My husband asked the people in front of us who were Spanish if they had ordered extra meat and toppings, but they told him "no". We then noticed the lady behind us whose bowl was heaping with ingredients. I asked her if she ordered extra and she said, "no" as well. So my husband and I came to the conclusion since we are not Spanish, that in their servers' (who were all Spanish) opinion, we didn't deserve the same quantity of food as their other customers.
We found this very disturbing and, at that minute, decided never to eat at Chipotle again. Once we got home with the food, we noticed that the extra salsa, the lettuce in my bowl and the separate tortilla that we paid for was not in the bag. In this day and age, no one should be treated with the kind of blatant racism that we received. We made sure to tell our friends and family members about our experience there. The bad treatment that we received from Chipotle simply is not worth paying for.

On May 30, 2010, my daughter, grand aughter and I ate at the Chipotle Mexican Grill at Riverside Plaza Drive, 92506, Riverside, California. I am sad to say that my experience was not a pleasant one. This was my first experience eating at a Chipotle restaurant. I was looking over the menu and what others were eating and noticed how large and wonderful their salad looked. I decided on the salad. The woman who was initially creating my salad was named Rosa. When it came to the next person to add to my salad, I asked her if I could have some more meat as in my mind my salad was surely not looking that great. The girl said for an extra two dollars. I said really, wow you do not get very much meat.
Then Rosa, the woman who first helped me started showing me exactly how much meat was supposed to be given, going on to show me the cup size. She was giving me an "in your face" attitude. I responded with, "okay, okay, that is fine." I am just not really happy with it but okay. I really did not think much of it at that point until she rudely tossed onto my plate a very small piece of meat no larger than half a fork size and said, "there, here."
I could not believe what she had just done in front of the line of customers. I turned to her and said, "Ma'am, that was very rude of you to do that." She said, "What! You wanted more so I gave you more." I told her again, "You know what you did, and that was very rude." As I was paying, I told the person who was now working the register, "Did you see what she did to me? Who was that woman?" The young girl responded with "she is our manager." I told the person at the register that I could not believe that a manager could be so rude to a customer. The young lady apologized for her manager's actions.
First of all, I did not tell Rosa I wanted more meat nor did I make a big deal of it. Yes, I was surprised of the extra costs, of guacamole, which I did not know was $1.69 extra. I believe she was offended because I was not happy with what she served me. Second of all, I believe she just wanted to speak her mind no matter how many customers were in line waiting. Thirdly, I believe she threw that morsel of meat on my plate to embarrass me. And she did.
What kind of manager would act such a way? Is this the type of people representing their establishment? Too many people are starving for jobs right now to be treating someone less than human. I am not writing because I want to be compensated! At the very least, I hope someone brings her rude behavior to her attention so she will not treat any more customers in such a rude manner. I was humiliated in front of more than a dozen people. My daughter could not believe how I was treated and told me, "Mom, if that would have been me, I would have said, nope, do not want it, and walked out."
I was humiliated in front of people, and I could not sleep over how I was treated. Did I look like the type of person someone could easily bully?

Fellow patrons behind me followed me to the area where the Tabasco sauce was and said "good for you for saying something, that was rude and came across as insulting."
Last night, March 28, 2010 at 7:28pm, I visited Cupertino Chipotle and ordered a Fajita Bowl and two margaritas. I ate at the restaurant and was conducting business on my iPhone and stayed later than usual. I ordered one more margarita. The cooks overheard me order another margarita and started chipper away, "tres margaritas, hee, hee, hee, tres margaritas, hee, hee, hee." I felt insulted and humiliated as I am a good paying customer. I called the manager after I drove home because I was steaming mad and felt insulted. I am a good, paying customer and did not feel that I deserved to be made fun of. Luis, the acting manager at the time apologized and offered to compensate me with 20 meals. He wanted me to come by today and speak with the General Manager at 2:30pm.
Today, when I arrived, Michael G, Area Manager, did not listen to my story. He just stated that he "had heard the story", defended the cooks and stated that he would give me just 2 free burritos. I explained to him that this was the second time that the cooks had humiliated me. He then stated that he would give me 3 Burritos but not $150 Gift Certificate. I relayed to him that not only did it take time out of my schedule today to come by but most people would not complain, they just would not return. Michael G did not seem to care about my business or any of my company's future business. When I stated that I was going to write a bad review on YELP and contact Franchise, Michael G. became insulting with me, and with a strong, loud voice, forcefully yelled at me to "Leave the Restaurant Immediately!” All the customers in the restaurant heard this. "There's the Door!" Michael G barked pointed and forcefully pointed to an exit door! And told me to never come back! He was very bullish, aggressive and displayed customer abuse. Now I feel even more humiliated!
Their Area Manager, Michael G. is demonstrating to the Chipotle employees that derogatory behavior and treatment to good customers like me is the protocol. Corporate really needs to be aware of this and replace or retrain him. I have never been treated so badly in my life. They need to know how Chipotle customers are being treated. From the top down, their company will lose valuable patrons like me. I feel very humiliated. I have been frequenting the store at least once a week to date. The first time that the cooks made fun of me, I let it go. But last night, I realized that if I am treated this way, others most likely are being made fun of also. And now, the treatment from Michael G, wow!

Chipotle has always been a good experience for me, until a couple of days ago at the Belden Village location in Canton. I went there with maybe not quite an hour left until closing time expecting a quality burrito. What I was given however were cold stares and cold food. The employees looked irritated and treated me as though they were irritated specifically with me because I came to get a burrito when they were still open.
Also, you could tell the food wasn't fresh and had been sitting in there for awhile which proved to be accurate when I arrived home, approximately 5 minutes away from the location, to bite into a cold and not very appetizing burrito. Economically, I wasted over $15.00 getting burritos just to throw them away due to poor quality and taste.

The pain still persists and I have an appointment on August 8th to get a crown. If it still hurts, I will need a root canal.
Chipotle had their insurance company get in touch with me and asked me about my claim. I told them what happened and they denied any involvement. They are solely responsible for my tooth cracking. I had my laptop in a Chipotle store, while eating it was stolen. I had it behind me inside my bag. I was with my mother. At the time it was stolen all the people in the store, workers changed, they were gone one by one. The attitude was more than suspicious. No one came to help me. No one seemed to care. The strangest thing is that according to them they only have one camera for the cashier only. There are many aspects of my case that do make me think that are responsible, and people who work there know about what really happened to my laptop.
No one came to help me, the person in the cashier register seemed very absent, and then she approached me identifying herself as one person who only works there. I called the police but they took over 1 hour and 20 minutes to come over. I did call 911, 25 times. The people at the store gave me the most mistrust, as soon as I started to inquire about my laptop; they got together behind the store and all started to leave. A woman came to clean the tables and said "Ah, this happens here all the time, we know that" As soon as she said that she was called and left in 5 minutes. She did not look at me as she left. Something was said to her. The all the people at the store seemed to ignore me. I had to scream at the woman, the cashier to pay attention to me and then she identifies herself as the person in charge who would call. Now I have learned that despite Apple has three cases about my laptop they made the mistake of registering the laptop under the name of another person called Gonzalez.
I am Latino too, as well as all the people who were working at the store at the time I was there, neat DuPont Circle. I cannot say with evidence, but one thing makes me say that either the people at Chipotle know what happened or someone or more than one of those people are working with the robbers. The situation was very fussy. There was not support from the store, Chipotle. When I called, there was not help of any kind and excuses. Something happened to me there. The treatment I received was awful and bad. No one care, no one called the police, no name was taken from me, and the store did not care at all about my case. Is there anything to be done about it?
