When ordering one Chipotle burrito from the Chipotle app there was an issue getting the burrito remade or getting a refund. The individual Chipotle restaurant (2484 E. Main St Bexley, Oh 43209) I was told could not refund one single burrito because I was not able to pick it up at the available time. I wanted to get it remade but they would not do it so I ask for a refund and they said I had to send an e-mail through the app which does not solve the problem here and now. The worker were very unprofessional when dealing with customers. I've seen this over and over again with this particular location. That's why I usually avoid this location but decided to order here today. This will be my final time ordering from this location.

This was by far the most poorly ran Chipotle I have ever been to. ALL the tables were dirty and not wiped off and empty. The line was long and SO slow by the time we did get our food it was cold. They had NO forks or small tortillas. The last time I was there they didn't have ice. I had to ask for the tables to be wiped twice. I also spoke to the manager when I tried to get a fork and he didn't seem to care much at all. Said they were working on things but seriously didn't care his store was a wreck.

I asked for a little guac to sub for them being out of cheese, how can this place be out of cheese?? The guy says “NO” we have to charge for that, so I said well is my food cheaper since I cannot get what is supposed to come with it? He had the worst attitude ever! I ended up buying chips and guac which he filled a quarter full just to be a complete jerk. The cashier never said hello or goodbye. All I got always a frown and "please step aside". So, If you hate your job find a different one. There were 3 people hanging out talking (while working) and nowhere to sit for customers. Like, grab a rag dude so the PAYING customers can sit down to eat their partial meals that they paid full price for!!
Absolutely horrendous experience and I will not be back and I am going to tell EVERYONE I know how I was treated!! This is probably the 4th or 5th time in this particular store that it has been an embarrassing visit for them. EVERYONE working there has an attitude for some reason and I mean EVERYONE on the front line. I can promise you I will not be back. Wendy’s and other places are right there and guess what? They are friendly...

I walked into the location on 2303 W. 95th today. And I ordered a chicken bowl then after informing my server about what to put on my bowl, the next server grab my bowl. Third she goes to the manager. I want cilantro instead of lettuce so he says that he can’t allow me the cilantro then after 15 mins of debating with me he screams out, "You have to pay extra."

I had to laugh because I was looking at Google news and on there it said that Chipotle won’t offer beyond burgers or impossible burgers because they are processed!!!! The funny part of this is in that same ad it said they will still offer a tofu vegetarian dish. HELLO.... tofu is processed, along with fries, chicken nuggets, etc. Do they really think people are that blind and dumb? Chipotle you better get your stories straight before speaking especially on Google!!!!

I placed a catering order with Chipotle catering, outside the 24 hour time frame. I received a confirmation email saying my catering order would be delivered at 12:00 on July 3. The day of July 3rd, I received a phone call from the New York Chipotle store at 11:15 stating they had to cancel my order as they had not received it until now. Being that it was only 45 min until my business lunch, and I received a confirmation email, I was a little upset. I asked if she could still prepare the food, and I would come and pick it up. The store said they did not have enough food and could not offer me anything, the order had to be cancelled. Later that afternoon, after I scrambled to get lunch for a very important office, I called customer Customer Service and stated that I had been charged for the lunch. Customer Service said I would hear from them within 24 business hours. Being that it was a Holiday weekend, I waited to call back.
As of today, July 10th, I had still not heard from anyone at Chipotle. I called customer once again. There was no record of my complaint with Customer Service, and I have yet to receive my refund. I understand that things happen, but the way both the store and Customer Service handled this situation is beyond unprofessional. There were no solutions, apologies, or how can they fix their mistake offered. Being in an industry where I use catering daily, I will definitely take my business elsewhere. Highly disappointed in the way this situation has been handled.

I visited the Mentor Avenue location in Mentor, Ohio. The front line staff was very rude and unprofessional. The food was also salty. The cashier Ashley put the icing on the cake. She never made eye contact and handed me my card back as if it was gross. She didn't offer to hand me my receipt and when I said thank you twice (second time louder). Ashley never responded as if I wasn't standing there. It's funny how companies want sell cultured food but don't respect the culture. With this ** on the line, it will for sure hurt the business. I tried to give a one star rating but I had to choose 1. :(

On 06/06 at 9:30 I walked into Chipotle and ordered 2 chicken bowls. One's with extra meat along with a juice, 3 bags of chips and guacamole. Once at checkout the total came to around $28.00. When I was at checkout I asked do they have more chips. There was only one bag up front. She was very rude and said, "Yes we always have chips. Do you want the order." I then stated yes. I needed 3 bags of chips. She went in the back and came back with 3 bags of chips.
Once I got home I immediately noticed the chips were completely stale. I then taste chips from the other 2 bags and those were stale as well. I immediately called the store and spoke to AMBER which was the rude lady at checkout. I advised the chips were stale. I asked if I can come get fresh bags. She stated they were closed. I told her, "I eat my chips with the bowl. If I don't have chips we cannot eat the bowls." It was for me and my 10 yr old son. She then stated I can come up there for a full refund. I told her, "I left the receipt on the counter. It should still be there." She stated, "No worries. What is your name and number? I will leave a message for a refund on the bowl and chips only" since they were closed and I could not go back 20 min drive and get fresh chips. She stated, "Come in the morning. They will issue a refund."
When I got there the manager was extremely rude. Her Name is Gloria **. She offered me a $1.50 refund on a $28.00 order. I was extremely embarrassed at this point. I explained to her not only have I wasted 40 min in gas I was not able to eat the bowls without the chips! She then kept stating it was fraud with no receipt. When she had clearly told me she was able to pull the cameras and saw me in the store and my receipt on the counter.
I come here normally on my lunch as I work close by. I will tell all my coworkers never to visit this place not only are they rude they are serving stale food!!! Now not only have I wasted 40 min in gas I was not able to eat the bowls. I'm confused on how she stated it was fraud and she seen me on the cameras! This was embarrassing at the least. Customer service is not hard. You treat people with respect! I will be posting this on my FB, my Twitter and the BBB website. She acted like because I'm a ** female I'm fraud. I have you know I make 80K a year!!! With a very prestigious job!
I'm outraged of the disrespect and lies I was told. Furthermore to say it's fraud is completely unnecessary. Not only did she see me on camera I have phone records I called the store around 10 pm and spoke to AMBER. So how is this fraud? I'm very disappointing in the store as I love Chipotle. I spend a lot of money on every visit I come. She judged me by my skin color! When in reality I can buy that store with my stocks!!!
I did not expect this coming from Chipotle as I was disrespected, embarrassed and judged off the color of my skin. Because I'm ** and spent $28 it must be fraud? Then she stated because of the large amount she was not issuing a refund! So I drove 20 min there and back 2X, Got bowls I could not eat with 3 bags of chips I could not eat and she offered me $1.50. This is a slap in the face!!! You have not heard the last of me as I plan to take this discrimination serious and will be heard!

Sadly I have had more than one issue with Chipotle. First issue was ordering a large order in advance for pick up. 3 hours in advance. When I arrived, Not only was it not ready, but they had me wait another 30 minutes while they got it ready, defeating the whole purpose of ordering in advance. 2nd issue is.. I do not recommend getting Chipotle through a delivery service. I did this twice, and both times ordered a burrito bowl, and got nothing but a $8 bowl full of rice, If you are not there to watch them make it, they will screw you.

So on 5/14/19 we ordered some Chipotle in advance for my sister's birthday party. When my mom went into the place they said that they couldn't see the order in the system which was weird because we clearly called the place on the official number. We were upset and mad because we ordered like 3 hours in advance. My mom said they would make it on the spot, but she simply didn't have the time to wait another hour or so to wait for her food. So then we had to make our self food which pushed the party, we were gonna eat at 5 pm but we ended up eating around 7 pm.

I used to go to Chipotle on my lunch break at least two or three times per week, the one at 51 Boston Wharf Rd in Boston MA. I order ahead, and on the site you're allowed to specify a pick up time. I went to the pick up time, and stood in a mob of others, about half of which called in ahead, and the rest just walking in. Guess who got served first?
Those who haven't yet given any money to chipotle. I stood there waiting for 25 minutes for food I had ordered in advance, and watched a swarm of walk-ins get served before me (As well as other people who called ahead). So everyone who walked in got served, everyone who called ahead ended up being about 20-30 minutes late for going back to work. Sometimes stuff just happens, and maybe the manager was new, or understaffed or something. I told her I was upset and disappointed with my experience, and asked for a refund. She looked me in the eye, and walked away doing busy work. Came back a minute later, and asked what I wanted. I told her a refund, and reiterated what happened. She again went off and threw herself into busy work, effectively closing the door on me.
That experience was super lame, and I'll never go to that spot again. But the reason I'll never patronize ANY Chipotle was how corporate responded, when I emailed them what happened. I described the experience, again said I want a refund, and they instead of addressing my concern or request, asked for identifying personal information unrelated to this. They asked me for my mailing address, phone number, and other info irrelevant to everything except marketing and data mining. It's been over a year now and still no refund. The food really wasn't bad, and it's a shame the manager at that spot was so terrible, and that the corporate follow up was even worse. I will never go there again.

I haven’t eaten at Chipotle for about 5 years...until today, and then I remembered why. I ordered a burrito at the Concord CA location. The worst burrito ever! The rice was uncooked (they didn’t use enough water). The tortilla’s edges were hard (stale), the pinto beans were flavorless, and the carnitas was bland. When it was being put together, the server didn’t bother draining the meat or the beans making it very soggy. I took one bite and it literally fell apart on my plate. I will NEVER eat at Chipotle ever again!!!

Even if you say light or a little, they just slap it on as if they do not hear you, and as if you aren't the one paying for what you're ordering.

First off: the store was out of everything. My girlfriend went to the gym next door and thought enough to get us dinner late at night. Not only was the place OUT OF EVERYTHING, she brought a simple chicken burrito home for me. I literally ate less than a third and 30 minutes later I’m still on the couch with my tongue hanging out because it was so ** hot. Like, seriously, so ** hot and so great for my stomach before a day for 4-5 hours of training tomorrow. I haven’t had Chipotle in almost a year because every store around here is such crap. I take a chance on a Friday night and this is what I get. It’s like the store closes at 7 pm and dishes out the leftovers until they close. No one cares about anything. This isn’t a store problem. I own several companies. This is systemic. This is leadership. Chipotle sucks.

Dumpster fire. Prior to entering the line to order my food, I stood in the bathroom looking eye level at what could only be the biggest booger, I've ever seen attached to a wall. Like the stem from a grape and looking still damp, this toenail clipping sized nose cracker stared at me ominously. The feeling of foreboding that was creeping up inside me should have been enough to get me to leave... before it got worse. But I didn't.
This particular Chipotle has, since we arrived in Charlotte a year and a half ago, been a bit of a gamble. Most times it was terrible, but because the family is addicted to the most delicious pseudo-burritos in the free world, we just keep hoping for the best. The last three visits have been punctuated by a variety of problems: three soft tacos that appeared to have been put together by a drunk 4th grader with a slingshot...
So destroyed that we simply refused to take them, a melee of epic proportions while simply trying to get the burrito chef to understand that dragging my poor tortilla through the murk of the previous 146 customer's sour cream and guac over-spray just wasn't acceptable, the feigned ignorance when my entire family's order was taken, rang up and paid for while I stood at the tortilla smasher waiting for the single employee who was now putting together a "to go" order for what could have only been the UNC Powerlifting Team to simply ask me what I wanted; but, then tonight happened.
It started like it usually does, the place was a mess. The two trash cans by the entry door were overflowing with the goodness that only half eaten burritos and hours of waiting could bring. The floor littered with random Chipotle offerings: napkins, forks, paper, red baskets. As I made my way to the bathroom to "clean up" prior to embarking on this journey, I noted that the food assembly area was exactly as I remembered it, caked with everyone else's great burritos. Entering the bathroom, I began washing my hands when the booger greeted me merrily. "Good evening" it seemed to say. "Enjoy your meal!" I waived to the booger as I left, not knowing that this was the last "good" moment in my visit.
Because I'm the father of two girls, I order last. Otherwise, I'd be done eating and everyone else would still be in line. Tonight we only had one of the girls and I actually consciously considered the fact that we had unintentionally reduced our odds of having a food disaster by 25%. I raised an eyebrow in anticipation and tossed myself into the ordering ritual. It's ALWAYS the same. Chicken burrito, white rice, no beans, hot salsa on the side, lettuce and extra cheese (you have to say it that way or you WILL end up with EXTRA cheese and EXTRA lettuce).
The nice young lady who apparently has lost all the feeling in her fingers attempted to muscle my burrito into some kind of UFC level submission. Her hands smashing and mashing like her paycheck was calculated by how much tortilla overlap she could create. I had noticed prior to this moment that my burrito seemed smaller than I remember. It seemed as if the assembly process had somehow reduced not only the size of all of the utensils used to scoop the good stuff in, but also the size (or at least the willingness) of her hands to add a sufficient amount of product to create the familiar size and shape of the burrito we all love.
Once she had finished, she placed the burrito into the red basket atop the paper and handed it over. I stopped and stared. It was unusually small. We then began our discussion: Me: "I think this burrito looks a little small." Emp at the Counter (not the burrito creator): "Yes, yes it does look small." Me: "Like it's off the kids' menu." Emp at the Counter: "Yeah it's small." Creator Emp: "Maybe it's because there's not much in it?" Me: "You think?" Creator Emp: "Yeah, you didn't get a lot of stuff in it." Me: "You're aware this is roughly the 2,369th time I've ordered this exact burrito?" Creator Emp: "No. Yeaaahhhhh". Emp at the Counter: "Would you like a side of rice... Would that help?" Me: "A side? Of rice? No, no... That would only make it worse." Emp at the Counter: "Okay."
So, in the face of confusion... I walked away. As I sat down at the dirty table looking across at the trash climbing merrily out of the small silver hole that it should be living in, I thought "this really is a horrible place." Thankfully, my beautiful and much smarter wife took the burrito from my hands and returned to the scene. The burrito was "re-made"... ish. I mean remade as much as Han could have remade the Tauntaun that he carved open for Luke could have been "re-made". Again, thankfully my hyper-intelligent wife was able to remove it from its hastily wrapped aluminum foil and re-fold the entire mess into a remarkably presentable food item. I considered telling the poor kid attempting to clean up about Ted the booger, but decided to simply pen this albatross of a review. What a dumpster fire this restaurant is.

Tried this 3 times in the past two months and each time they started making my order when I walked in the door. Not only did they not have my order ready at the designated time, but it takes forever for an employee to even ask who you are for your online order. When I checked the website after I ordered it had routed the driver to a completely different address 30+ blocks away. At 3:30 I called the driver and he said he was at the address but no Chipotle existed there, I then told him the correct address and he said he’d head there, cool.
By 4:00 I hadn’t heard anything back and tried to call customer service which informed me that the driver was on the way and they couldn’t cancel the order... 4:15 comes and the driver finally calls and says someone else already picked the order up and delivered it, where? I don’t know because we certainly never got our food. Chipotle’s delivery site is absolute trash and annoying that they do it through DoorDash which is never efficient and said their “system was having issues...” which really translates to we don’t know what’s going on. I'm not sure if they don't care anymore when they are selecting employees but they ALL need to go to some sort of customer service training. I online ordered for pickup as I do most times, but to a different store because of where I was, that store was closer. Got there and the food wasn't ready. Ok... I'll wait...and I'm waiting...to be acknowledged. So after literally 5 minutes of standing there I said, "Excuse me!" I get the looks like I'm bothering them. Anyhow, fast forward through their eye rolls and mouth snacking, I'm told my food is coming up. And I had to ask my teenage son who was with me if I was going crazy, but everyone slowed down. It was like I flipped a switch. They went into slow motion and kept rolling their eyes and everything.
Then 20 minutes later yea so this is about 30 minutes after my pickup time, I'm leaving and they refused to give me my receipt. So I grabbed one off of the counter because I was going to call and complain. This is better. Let's get to the store by my house. I was already driving and too close to bother to online order so when I got there, there wasn't a line, however I was left standing there for 4 minutes which actually created a line. Let's say they were fulfilling online orders. Ok so I'm watching the brown rice dwindle. The teenager that's employed isn't asking for free rice. It's getting lower because they are filling as I said probably online orders. He finally acknowledges me and says "You want white rice?"
"No. I would like a bowl with brown rice." So he scrapes the nasty rice off the bottom, which is a quarter of the bowl and proceeds to put beans on it. So I ask, "Is that all the rice you're going to put?" His reply? The first part was inaudible which I took as him probably saying an expletive then I heard, "All you had to say was put more rice. All that other stuff wasnt even necessary!" And slapped whatever more rice he cud muster out of the bottom of that pan in my bowl on top of my beans. I'm not sure what else he thought he heard me say, but either way I walked out with no food! There is NO WAY I'm going to let a child young enough to be my kid talk to me like that and donate to their paycheck!! They WILL NEVER get my money again! I live in Maryland. We go to Chipotle often and are used to the arbitrary amount of each ingredient chosen the staff would add to your bowls. This is especially random when they have a new person on duty. Sometimes when it really seems too little, we would ask if they can add a little more, and they usually do, either to our satisfaction or not, without a fuss. This time, I ordered two steak salad bowls and the amount of steak was way too little, so I asked if he could give a little more. He did, and even offered to give a little more to the other bowl. I gladly said sure and thought he's being nice...
After signing the receipt, I realized they charged me two "extra meat" for $3.80 each! I went back and asked them about it. They said I asked for "extra meat" for both bowls. I told them I just thought it's not to the usual amount and asked for "a little more", not "extra meat". They couldn't care less and just ignored me. I was in a hurry to be home and didn't have time to argue there, so I just left. However, the more I thought about it, the more I felt upset and being ripped off. For that little more pieces of steak, they charged me $7.60 (almost another salad bowl!) without my consent. To me, this was an unfair and unpleasant customer experience!

I've gone to Chipotle off and on since they opened. I've always ordered the same thing...a steak burrito. From day one up until my recent visit their steak has been full of gristle. I won't eat gristle. It is completely unacceptable. What I do is, if I can't reasonably chew through it then I will chew it some and spit out the chewed up gristle. It is fairly common to have to do this with steak these days but usually it is a bite here or there. I kid you not, with Chipotle, it is just about EVERY SINGLE piece of steak! I don't know how they even buy meat with that much gristle in it! They must be going out of their way to buy the steak that others have rejected. Even my cheap taco wagon choices pick better meat to serve.
It is literally to the point that their steak is inedible. That is incredible that they have not figured out that one of the biggest reason for their downturn in business is simply because of this one reason and seemingly refuse to solve the problem. It is too bad because I would LOVE their food if they fixed this. The ONLY reasonable explanation is they are knowingly buying this gristle meat because it is extremely cheap and enough people aren't complaining. I assume they don't realize they are losing millions and millions because of this poor decision.
I've seen others complain about the gristle or toughness of Chipotle's steak and have claimed it is because they don't cook it properly or some other reason. Nope, if you are a person who prepares your own steak often enough then you know how gristle works. It has nothing to do with how they prepare or cook it and everything to do with straight up buying horrible quality meat and trying to pass it off as good enough. It isn't. There is no way to "cook" a touch grisly piece of meat so that the gristle goes away.

I ordered through the app DoorDash. Chipotle is very expensive but the kids were craving it, so I treated them. The order came quickly within 30 minutes. But lo and behold I was missing at least half of the items that I ordered. On top of that, the food that we did order was extremely little. I was upset, but my son, who is 7 was terribly upset because he did not have his food. I then called to let them know half of the order was missing. The TWO general managers, Frankie and Daphnie told me there was nothing they could do. Their employee had made a mistake when looking at the order. I told them, I was charged fully for the food that I DID NOT receive. Once again I was told there was nothing they could do.
So then I said, can't you issue me a Chipotle gift card over the phone and then I could place the order that way. They said absolutely not. So basically I wasn't getting the money refunded nor the food that same day. I would have to come in person. But then I explained the whole reason I ordered on DoorDash was because I COULDN'T leave my home. So I am going to dispute this charge with my credit card company.

Issues with Chipotle Grill?? - Call Sam at **. He's a live person! Not an Interactive Voice Recognition system. January 1, 2018 – I was working at a nearby hotel and was ready to eat. I had a craving for Chipotle and proceeded to place an order online. I ordered my bowl and scheduled it for pick up at 6pm. It had already snowed (in Texas) so you know it was very cold! I walk three blocks to pick up my bowl, but found the location at 801 Congress was closed. I checked my phone to make sure I didn't place my order at the wrong location. I was right. I was standing at the correct location. Needless to say, by the time I'd returned to the hotel, I'd already burned up the majority of my lunch and had no other option.
The following day, I called the store to inquire about my transaction. “One of the managers” ** had no regard for the issue and offered my bowl. She didn't apologize for not being open on New Year's Day. She didn't offer to credit back the transaction. I perceived NO EMPATHY from her. I insisted I wanted my money back. She insisted she cannot do this. She offered no alternative other than to provide my bowl. She was rude and had no business as a store representative... or am I wrong???
I searched everywhere to find a customer service phone number to contact Chipotle to file a complaint on ** and to get my money back (which at this point isn't the main issue). The numbers I found would be to an automated service. I finally called again yesterday (1-4-18) and contacted “employee relations.” The lady insisted she couldn't help me either and that I needed to contact customer service via the “contact us” link on the website. “Email them your complaint and they will be in contact with you shortly.” There were words exchanged because at this point, I'm furious! I am the customer! My issue comes first! I do not have time to wait for somebody to call me on their time!
Finally, after the call was escalated, Sam called me. If you have an issue with Chipotle, call him at **. After telling him my issue, he apologized and explained Chipotle is a web-based customer service system. I'm sorry, a web-based customer service system? What the hell is this world coming to? Chipotle is hiding behind a system that is expecting its customers to fold!? Sam created excuses for the store saying they must've forgotten to turn their internet order system off. No, sir! That system is flawed as well! You allowed us to pay for a product that was not delivered! You ACCEPTED payment for a product that was not delivered! Then you allowed your store management to “blow it off” and not initiate an apology or reach out to their guests with options.
Instead, you've trained your crap generation managers to not worry about it thinking we'll forget about it. Then you allow those crap managers to pass the buck “you have to call customer service to get your money back” and not provide a phone number. Instead, you hid behind a web-based customer service system. Are you serious? How are you idiots still functioning? If I ever said anything as ridiculous as what ** or Sam stated as piss-poor excuses, I'd be fired!!! Walmart and McDonalds have a much better customer service system that this company does! I visited Chipotle grill locations in Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania… Without exception, the dining area of each location I've visited was filthy. From dried on and smeared beans stuck to the table, to lettuce and cheese on the seats, not to mention bits of food at the bottom of the plastic utensil containers... Each location displayed the very same issues.
I've heard from various health inspectors over the years, that a great way to judge the cleanliness behind the counter, is the way the restaurant is kept in front of the counter. Based on the way the seating area is kept, and the documented nationwide E. Coli and Noro-virus incidents, it's very fair to say that Chipotle Grill has a SERIOUS systemic food care/prep issue.
The smart decision to make is to stay away from all chipotle grill locations. Yes, if the food was handled and taken care of properly it would be a much healthier alternative to other fast food brands. But the truth is, as a biology major, I can confidently say that E. coli and the Noro-Virus are the least of your worries. Improperly cooked pork is notoriously responsible for harboring parasites such as tapeworms, and contaminated lettuce is known to be a great home for Listeria.
Lastly, I think the way Chipotle Grill's corporate administrators dealt with the various outbreaks is very telling. For there still to be systemic hygiene issues even after almost 2 years of sporadic outbreaks… It says that they have no idea how to contain the issue, and to enforce proper food safety/handling standards among their various location/franchise owners.

I think many 1 stars reviews (more than rating 5) are here just because when everything is great, people don't bother themselves writing reviews. Reading it, you see that it's particular place who didn't cook properly or didn't offer it properly or had dirty place. But if to think about experience in general, it's the best fast food, by quality and taste. I love bowl, my son likes burritos - both are huge and one portion is enough to make even a big man not hungry. We buy it in Mississauga, Canada, always well cooked, I like the choice and mainly - the policy of the company with requirements to the products.
Why usually I stay away from any fast food - because of unhealthy food there in general. Dirty and badly cooked - is a local problem, do people complain in "reviews"... I'd like to see reviews in general when I look for them. In Chipotle we have healthy food (by policy), normally freshly cooked and you can choose what exactly you put inside. The price near $10 or so gives you a big portion, tasty meal. I wish I'd see this kitchen everywhere in Canada like McDonald's, Tim Hortons and Subway.

I asked the worker if she could cut my burrito in half. While she was doing it she had kind of an attitude like I put her out but I figured, "Oh well I'm paying for this expensive burrito the least they can do is accommodate my request" which wasn't too hard at all but she made it seem like it was. Reason for that was I had planning to eat half now and then after had got to work I was going to eat it later on. I work nights in Lake Tahoe so I figured it'd be nice to have that for lunch which I usually take around 12 midnight. But before I could eat my burrito for my lunch break I started to feel a little queasy. The next thing I knew I was running for the side of the road and hiding my head behind a fence because I had started to throw up.
Let me be clear I work construction so my lunch break in my meals are very important. With that being said I was unable to complete my shift without taking multiple breaks to go relieve myself in the bathroom and where I couldn't go to the bathroom I would find a place in the side of the road and have to do my business there. So I got off at 6 a.m. and drove back to my hotel. Driving back was a very horrible experience. The roads up here are winding and not to mention having to drive them while you're not feeling too well is not something that you would want to do everyday. Unfortunately I spent the next 8 hours with my face in the toilet and everytime I try to drink water to replenish what I had lost I was confined to the toilet.
I will never be going back to Chipotle again and I will be telling everybody I know about my experience. I am currently at work right now because there is no way that I could miss a shift and unfortunately this is not the first instance where I've heard that Chipotle has caused people distress from not taking care of their food items whether it be the temperature or the quality of their food. A friend and him came in as Donald Trump and were told by multiple servers to leave -- he is 17!! He said "you have to serve me." They said "boy you better leave!!" He said "I will call your human relations dept." They then served him - made his food sloppy and laughed as they did. This is horrible... Regardless of who you support Respect each other. And can they do that? Tell him to leave?? There were witnesses... People I didn't know were there said "My child saw what happened. That's awful." I can't believe they didn't even call me and apologize... And the manager when I told him said "lady I don't have time for this" and hung up on me!! I travel 37 miles Crystal River, with my family to eat at the closest Chipotle Restaurant, in Ocala Fl. And always have had good service and food there. Until last night. It took me at least 20 minutes to get my food. When we got there the restaurant and outdoor seating was moderately full. The line was a little longer than normal but it moved fast until I got up to make my order then, that's when it changed.
After waiting a while for the person to fill several on-line orders, he wander away to get more tickets. When he returned I ask if he could take my order. He politely said "sorry" then I gave him my wife's simple bowl order and a few seconds flat it was filled and pushed down the line. He resumed filling more online orders. After some time he noticed I haven't moved down the line. I said "I have more to order". I ordered my usual 2 orders of hard tacos. After digging around he laid out the two baskets and shells and resumed filling online orders, then the person waiting downstream to fill their station's orders came up and loaded the meat onto the shells. Right, things are moving now.
Wrong. I asked for the grilled onions and peppers. She was then frozen. The manager was restocking around this person the items in the station area, and they just were waiting. I ask if that was ok to get these items on my tacos. She said "I am waiting for the tongs to be brought back", so I backed up away so the crowd of a line behind didn't think I was the problem here. Finally she turned and got one from the tray behind her (must have had a least 10 of them in there). Now I am moving on down. Things are being stuffed in those taco shell and I can see the end in sight. It was only a train light because all my items were being stacked by the register that had no one manning it. I looked at the server. She said "SHE will be right back". It didn't matter anyway. My brother in law behind was still at the start of the line waiting to be recognized so he could order his bowl.
Finally when he was done, all the little food bowls/baskets was sitting there. The lady that was arranging bags of chips turned around and rung up the order. I informed her that I needed 3 LARGE drinks included. She looks at me and says that's $39.**. I gave my card, she processed it and then she sets 3 SMALL cups down. I informed her I ordered Large drinks. She say "I already rung it up that way". I said "looks like youre going to have to un-ring it up". She did. I asked for some trays. She handed me one, then resume the bag shuffle. Now the KICKER. Remember earlier when I said the inside and outside was nearly full. It was now vacant. Nobody at all. Just a line of people waiting to get served. Food was excellent/the Sweet tea was too.

So I have been a loyal Chipotle customer for years! I literally have enjoyed those burritos and bowls hundreds of times. But my time is pretty much over with this company. Chipotle loves to give the allusion it is a 'healthy' alternative to fast food. The reality is, it is ANYTHING BUT HEALTHY. I really started to notice a difference in my well being after a Chipotle opened right down the street from me, and I began to frequent it more often. After eating burritos about a year ago, I would feel sick, and lethargic. I told myself I would stick to the bowls, as the burritos were just way too much food. After eating the bowls I have realized they always cause me to feel ill, after as little as 30 minutes of eating it.
I have terrible stomach pains, cramps, I feel bloated, nauseous and gross. I had a hard time connecting the food I was eating and the feeling, because it was always my understanding this food was 'healthy', because they were using 'whole unprocessed' ingredients. I went to their website and was absolutely startled by how much sodium is in the food. Literally nearly 2 days worth of sodium are in a typical burrito bowl. I did more research and found out that much of their 'add on toppings'; salsa, meat bases/seasonings, etc. are not made in house, but manufactured by a huge supplier that also supplies foods for McDonald's etc.
Having 3000 MG of Sodium in one serving is a disaster, and it is because of the way they source their ingredients. Very misleading company. And not healthy in the slightest. Too much sodium in a sitting will make you sick period, as it sends your body into shock, as it tries to bring it back into equilibrium. I will not be back, too many better options are beginning to become available in the fast casual marketplace to rely on Chipotle anymore. I am done. Stop lying to your consumers Chipotle!!!

I'm really tired of being treated with no respect in this restaurant. The "kids" behind the counter need to have additional training to slow down a bit and listen to the customer, and when there is a mistake made during providing service, to not engage with the customer and induce an argument. I know this is petty, but I'm sick and tired of this. I ordered two meals and a side of chips and guacamole. The entire order was in front of me and the closest one behind me was way back at the start of the order process. I asked for my order to be bagged separately as half was for my daughter to be dropped back at school and the other for me. The girl on the register thought I said to pay for them separately and only rang up one. When I corrected her she quickly stated, "You were not clear." I responded by saying, "No, you didn't hear what I said."
She then proceeded to argue with me, roll her eyes, make negative comments under her breath, to which I got extremely frustrated and yelled at the manager as I angrily left the store. I don't deserve, as a paying customer, to be treated like this TO ANY DEGREE. If she had said the word "sorry" in any of the garbage that came out of her mouth, I would have accepted been cordial, and carried on my day. However, this was the furthest thing from her mind, and it showed. Also, when I got home and started to eat my meal, I had a very hard time with the chicken as it was really burnt and tough. I noticed she had no gloves on, and reminded our server that she should be wearing gloves while handling food. She went over and spoke to her in private, and the employee left the front counter and went into the back, whispering and talking to other employees. She came back in a few minutes with another employee, who also had no gloves on. One of them began wiping the counter in front of the food with a wet cloth she took from under the counter.
The other employee proceed to place both her ungloved hands on the counter and looked directly at me. At that point I spoke to our food preparer and told her to cancel our order, we would be leaving. As we left the counter she shouted at me, "Are you kidding me?" Instead of dealing with my issues in a polite manner, there seemed to be an employee rebellion attitude. In view of the dirty aprons, ungloved and careless food handling, coupled together with rudeness, it appears that the Chipotle corporate office needs to have another round of employee training, and inform employees how E. coli and other bacteria are passed from one to another. I am not impressed by the treatment I received at the North Phoenix location. Not impressed at all. I received a free coupon for a burrito or bowl from this place, and having never gone to Chipotle before, decided to give it a go. I expected a manner of snazz, but only got something resembling McDonald's on a budget. I wasn't a big fan of the slow service (standing behind a pair of tweenyboppers with attitude, for twenty minutes, one of the two being clearly anorexic and high on herself, really isn't my idea of a party), and I also wasn't too keen on how the food itself looked - let's just say that this place had the "we have been recycling the same food for three days" look down to a science.
After standing behind the tweenyboppers (and hearing the words "sitch", "whatevs", "like", and "eau moy gawd" more times than I care to count), I saw that the cashier was going to count my order as part of the order for the group in front of me. "That one's mine!" I called out, only to watch the cashier completely disregard what I told her and place my order on the counter behind her. Another five minutes pass, during which she proceeds to carry out an extended conversation with the duo in front of me - presumably about everything up to and including how many more "eau moy gawds" can be included in their conversation.
Finally, as I'm ready to cash out, this chick looks at me as if I had been born with hydrocephalus and fallen off of the "Happy Oaks convalescent home" minibus, and proceeds to ask me, in as condescending a voice as I have ever heard, "Did you order?" To which I replied (as snarkily as I could, for people in Arizona only react positively to snark), "No, Einstein, I'm on a sicko scavenger hunt and decided to take a break from it by seeing how long I could wait in line at a random restaurant before being discovered and my plot foiled by your rapier-like wit. Yes, I ordered, and my order is the one you just tossed behind you." The food wasn't tasty at all; I could get more of a taste sensation from licking the cooking grease off of my kitchen stove. In summary, the food is cold and unappealing, customer service is not great, the place is dirty, the ambiance is nil and the music is blaring, and you risk getting a life threatening illness. Chipotle should teach their employees exactly how to fill a bowl because every time I go in, they really fill it. I could even see the cardboard bottom, that's how much it was not filled. Now for portion control it's great but when I pay for a service from a big company like Chipotle, I expect nothing but highest standards.

I went to Chipotle for the first time today. I had high expectations but the server was rude and in a rush. Before she even finished my order she started doing another customer's order. I didn't even finish talking. I asked for more rice and beans because the server only gave me super small portions but she already moved on to help others people. The chicken tasted like fatty and the steak had no flavor.

I visited the Chipotle location on Golden Valley, late at night. Store was fairly empty. We have bought their food for at least 4 years. As the years passed the service size had become smaller. If you asked you get lecture on the fact that the food is supposed to be the size of the small container they used for the salsa/guacamole. For the most part you get rude responses. I got home with an almost empty bowl. I think you need to re-evaluate your serving size. I do see other people get full bowls without even asking. Lack of consistency and no customer service. Also had to wait for the cashier as she was in the kitchen.

I usually eat a Chipotle on Grace Street on the VCU campus, every time I've eaten there the food has been great. Well tonight my husband asked what I wanted for dinner and I said Chipotle, so we headed to the location near our home on Staples Mill. First the associates on the front line were extremely slow. They also were horse playing around as me and my husband patiently waited for them to complete our order. Then we finally get home and the rice was rock hard and not cooked. We could not eat it. I was very unhappy and unsatisfactory. They need a new cook and new staff and should receive some training from the VCU campus on West Grace. I will never go back there

Last Saturday went to Chipotle to eat, and wait for a client that I was supposed to meet next door at the coffee place 2 hours later. I ordered a bowl of black beans, rice, lettuce, tofu (they said it is non-GMO) and sauce of tomatoes, onions like pico de gallo. While eating I worked on my computer around 35-45 minutes when I started feeling sick in my stomach with pain, cramps, discomfort. I was almost done with the meal, had a bit left but couldn't continue eating. I was sweating cold and felt dizzy. While putting my computer in the computer case felt I needed to throw up, so I called for help to the counter person. They saw me pale and sick and brought me near the bathroom, where I fell by the floor with very low blood pressure. The employee that was with me gave me water, brought me inside the bathroom, where I had diarrhea and vomit several times. It was very scary. I was very weak and shaking. They called the paramedics.
When they arrived, they confirmed my blood pressure was very low and I couldn't breathe normal from the vomiting and weakness. They took me to the hospital where the doctor saw me and confirmed it was food poison. I have the diagnosed from the hospital. They did all kind of test to see if it was something else. The test were normal. I knew I was well before I ate at Chipotle restaurant. I saw clients that afternoon. I have normal energy, and my blood pressure is always normal. The diagnosed from the hospital, FOOD POISON, which can occur within one hour to 24 hours depends on the amount of bacteria enter in the system, and the person's digestive tract reaction to it. My case, I was lucky it happen soon. Imagine if it happen one two hours later when I was with my clients or driving home. Chipotle Safety Department called me 2 days later. They didn't apologized. They ask me questions about that day.
The lady told me that they didn't think it was food poison according to their perspective because nobody else got sick that day. I asked about the expenses from the paramedics (which is very expensive) and the hospital bill. She said that they won't pay for any expenses and if I need to talk to them again I need to hire a lawyer, because that is their process. She said we are a BIG company and that is how we function. She gave an address and that was it. Just by curiosity I checked in the internet. By my surprised, Chipotle has several cases of food poison, in different states. Check by yourself. I don’t think it is safe to eat there, especially in California where lately they have other cases of food poison.

I am an Acid Chipotle patron. I frequent their establishment often at least a few times a week. I went to the one at 5175 Peachtree Parkway Norcross GA 30092 and normally at other locations the employees have their hair pulled back in a bun or the guys have on hats. This location in particular doesn't require either. The girl cooking in the back had a long loose ponytail. She was playing in her hair and swinging it casually as she was talking with the other employees. She then came out in the front and began prepping food to be set out in the food case. I thought perhaps she was on break but when I received my chicken bowl there a strand of hair about 10 inches long mixed in with my chicken when I took a bite. My wife and I have never been more disgusted.
We reported the incident to the manager who offered us a new plate (which would have been from the Same Batch That the tainted food came from). NEEDLESS TO SAY: We Declined. I am completely turned off from this establishment now unless they establish better sanitation habits and enforce a standard hairnet or hair maintenance policy.

I understand that your products are organic and fresh produce but does that mean they don't clean it well? I started vomiting after seeing the two insects because at that point I already had some Chipotle. I have taken the pictures of the flies as a proof. 10 years ago when I first started going to Chipotle, it was one of the most delicious things I had ever had (at least for $7). I was hooked immediately and spent the next 10 years eating Chipotle at least three times a week. Over the years, I noticed that the size of the burrito started getting smaller and smaller and the employees were becoming more rude and more stingy with portions. Then a couple more years passed and I noticed it wasn't tasting nearly as good, ingredients weren't as fresh, the taste wasn't nearly as powerful and delicious as it once was, growing more and more disappointed with what used to be my favorite restaurant watching it slipping slowly into sellout/fastfood mode.
Fast forward to today I had the absolute worst burrito I've ever eaten... Not just at Chipotle but the worst burrito I've ever eaten from any restaurant... It tasted literally like cardboard and I couldn't even finish it. After 10 years of loyalty, I am absolutely done with this sellout cop out company and I am going to spend the rest of this company's existence telling everyone that will listen what an incredibly terrible company they've become, as well as telling them about their inedible food. On 8/9/15 I reached out to the GM via telephone explained my concerns again & she blatantly told me maybe I should not come back to her store & to go somewhere else. HOW RUDE WAS THAT? Mr. or Ms. regional director of this store someone needs to have a sensitivity class for all staff. I understand that dealing with the public is not an easy task but this is what all staff applied for, not rude behavior but to uphold the store's protocol. I have tried to reach out to Chipotle several times and to bring to their notice the racist nature of servers at Chipotle at Short Pump. The servers don't measure how much rice is being given to each person and most of the times they will cringe if you bring this to their notice. The reason I said racist was because this is not done to people of certain color.
I have closely observed the amount of rice in the bowls of people and I have noticed that they are always given more than others. Kindly look into the practices of this particular establishment but more importantly bring consistency in your practices about how much of each items is served when everyone is paying the same amount. As I watched for the 20 minutes while on line, 2-3 food prep guys in the back DID NOT WEAR GLOVES and made the rice, adding cilantro, etc. They directly touched the rice, pushing them from the big bowl into the rectangular containers for the front slots.

After reading many of these comments, it seems that not many people on here fully understand the company and the presence of human error (both by the crew and customers). Let me explain: I can approach this from two sides: both as a customer and also as a former employee. A few years ago, before I even thought of working in a Chipotle, I was one of the "regulars" that attended my local Chipotle. I had my fair share of good and not-so-good days.
Once, I remember, I had to wait five minutes for chicken because it was still on the grill. It was a little annoying, but the line worders behind the counter were trying to make the best of the situation. They couldn't help that they had run out of food--they weren't the ones cooking it. Unfortunately not everyone in line understood that and the person behind me in line was very much giving the employees a piece of her mind. Soon the general manager came upfront and addressed the customer and sat with her at a table and they talked for about fifteen minutes or so, and the food for her was free.
From what I picked up from their conversation (they sat near where I was) the manager explained to her that this restaurant is working on growing and becoming a better Chipotle. He then laid out the company's General model, which I'll explain in a moment. About three months later, I applied at that same Chipotle and got the Job after three interviews. First with their apprentice, (basically the GM in training) then the GM and finally the crew. I see many people who were "fired" or quit Chipotle ranting and raving that the company doesn't care about its employees. I can honestly say that these claims are extremely untrue--at least when the company as a whole is represented.
Here's how Chipotle works. When individuals are interviewed, there are thirteen characteristics that management and the crew look for. They can't be taught and are basically traits an individual needs to have in order to successfully work at Chipotle (e.g. Conscientious, enthusiastic, honest). Now though this may seem slightly discriminatory or selective, there is a purpose for it. Chipotle, contrary to what the general public may believe, is NOT, I repeat NOT A BASIC FAST FOOD JOB. The founder designed the restaurants to run similar to the kitchens in larger, five-star type restaurants. Those who are hired and interviewed are told this and warned it is high stress and high expectation, and there is an expectation for everyone who works in the restaurant to be their very best, or in Chipotle language, a Top Performer.
The goal from there is to create a culture among the crew and with the customers that is encouraging and where there is room to grow. I don't like bringing in numbers but 97% of managers started off as crew inside the restaurant. If a restaurant successfully has a team of all top performers and an encouraging culture, they become restaurateur, a highly sought after level. The bottom line is, if anyone gets fired or feels the need to quit, it is because the structure of the company is not for everyone, just like not everyone is meant to be a nurse or construction worker.
So, with all this in mind, if all of what I said is true about the company, why are there so many negative experiences? The diagnosis to this problem has several factors. One, is that the right people aren't being hired. Another is that the environment inside the store behind the counter is not good, which is not the customers' fault. What I'm saying is that while there may be many Chipotles out there that are not quite close to being perfect, the company as a whole is designed to create a better people culture. There is diversity in the crew and management, and the goal of every restaurant is clear (also if GMs don't do a good enough job of connecting and building an excellent team, they too can be demoted). The company has high standards and it's sad that they don't always get met. I recently stopped working for Chipotle due to schooling and family issues, but I wouldn't take any of my time there back.

It's OK since I deal with many people in a week and will tell everyone I know of my treatment. I use to eat at Chipotle at least once a week. This was sad to be treated so poorly by the company so called management. This is suppose to be a healthy establishment and thought they might want the feedback but the way I was treated was not necessary.

Hello. I visited the Chipotle in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, NEVER AGAIN. THIS STORE IS HORRIBLE...If I didn't know any better I would think that they purposely give its customers less food so they can overcharge for extra...I've been to other Chipotles but this one is the WORST. I asked for three burrito bowls as I always do when I go here. They are so skimpy with everything. You can still see the bottom of the bowl...something I've NEVER experienced before...and for money it's suppose to get legitimate amount of toppings and meat when I can still see to the bottom of the bowl -- that's ridiculous. At least the rest of the stores give you at least two spoonfuls then if you ask for another spoonful then you're charged. But not here...they give you one spoonful of everything and charge you for more thereafter.
I ALWAYS pay no more than 25.00, maybe 27.00 the most, I ordered the same thing and keep in mind I had to get at least two spoonfuls for which I was being charged and didn't know it till I got to the register and the cashier said 43.00. I was, "What?" I've NEVER paid this much. Now either the workers give less so they can take home or do things on their own time and it won't look like they're dipping in the food or they not making fresh food the next day and they are re-using the product which isn't suppose to happen but the lack of servings that they are giving, along with the price gouging, is not cute.
This needs to be looked into 'cause this is the only store so far I've been to that does this and I go to at least 4 different one -- 3 in brooklyn and 1 in manhattan -- and I've never experienced that and best believe this will be the last time I ever go there again. And if I do I will be recording and doing a story with examples of how this Chipotles works cause it's toooo many other great eateries in that neighborhood for this one to be half ass and all it takes is for word of mouth and business will diminish and customers will be lost 'cause we don't need this type of foolery in this area.

So I ordered a burrito and took a plate in front of the cashier. The cashier took the plate and returned it again. And she called me rude. I was like, call the manager. And the manager even lectured me in front of the other customers. Seriously, being paid $9 an hr as cashier and $12 an hour as manager, is that what they are paid for? The Chipotle China Town DC is the worst Chipotle. Giving small portions, dirty place, rude line people and crazy manager. Being embarrassed in front of other customers was the worst!

Today was any other day at my local Dover location Chipotle. I came in for my usual but unfortunately due to certain people I could not get my usual. Their beans were overcooked. The new girl stuffed my rice in a bowl on a tortilla. Everything about the service was aggravating. I tried to be understanding the first time because I have worked for fastfood but these people were horrible. How they prepared my food was the icing on the cake. No manager was available. Tragic. Definitely won't be attending that restaurant anymore!!!

I worked for Chipotle for only a month before I put in my two weeks. I started April 2014 and I went home from my job crying every day. You don't get breaks, you aren't allowed to eat, you can't move from your spot for a total of four hours, and the shifts are incredibly long. If you're on the schedule from 7 am to 4 pm, you aren't leaving there until 6 pm, when they finally tell you can go. They insist on having the cashier run from the cash register to the dining room to restock the drink station, sweep the floors, wipe down tables, and gather baskets and trays, which is impossible to finish before having to run back to the cash register.
Not only that, if you come in during a day that you are not working, and they are busy, they expect you to jump behind the counter, without clocking in, to help them out. The entire staff was cult-like in their repetition of Chipotle's "rules and regulations." The niceties they exchange are completely insincere and disturbing. I put in my two weeks notice as of May 2014, and two days later, they fired me for "not meeting Chipotle's standards."
As far as a dissatisfied customer, I have had very few positive meals from Chipotle. The tortillas are often stale and brittle, the chips are soggy and over-salted, the guacamole sits in the fridge for multiple days, only scraping off the top layer of brown guacamole before putting it out again, and the meat is fatty and chewy, constantly. Not to mention the prices, but that's what comes from eating at Chipotle, so I guess I can't complain about that.

Today I visited Chipotle during the lunch hour. Upon my arrival the first lady to greet me was fairly pleasant, but when I got the 2nd gentleman, he was very rude and his exact words were "I'm a person. Look at me, don't look at the food". First of all I was very shocked to hear a worker talk to a customer like that. Second, of course I knew he was a person but if I did not look down at the food, how would I know what I wanted in the bowl. Last, the lady that took my money was also rude and I just don't appreciate being treated like that. I can always take my business and along with others some place else. I started to call all the news stations but decided to write this complaint first. I do think it was all because I was an African American.

It's our favorite place to eat and even though the past month we have went there four times, yesterday was the worst time ever. We were in line and they announced they only had one sauce but we still ordered two burritos. They were not fresh at all. They actually scraped burnt green peppers and burnt onions out of the pan and put them on my burrito. I am really upset about this. Took two bites and threw it away. The same for my girlfriend. We are really not satisfied.

I left the Chipotle restaurant in downtown Hopkins Minnesota at 2:40 pm on December 23, 2014. As I was leaving I had no intentions on ever returning to another Chipotle restaurant ever again. In all honesty it was the worst experience I've ever had ordering food. The cashier was representing her black Antichrist gauged earrings while ringing her customers up and telling them to have a nice day. Her hat was so low you could barely see her eyes and to a customer you may wonder if she was on drugs or hung over. Employees were not working and instead talking to their peers while customers were waiting for their food. From my experience the Hopkins Chipotle restaurant is delivering poor business and in turn has become a hangout for the workers' friends and the Antichrist cashier.

Between my husband, myself, our son and his girlfriend, we frequent Chipotle 4 to 5 times a month. Each time the restaurant is out of at least one of the major items; chicken three weeks ago, last week brown rice, and today both the black beans and the Pino beans and pork were out. However there is no compensation in price or discounts for future visits, considering the same price is being charged for less food. Chipotle would only lose profit if a potential customer decides not to purchase anything. The manager appears to need some training in determining the required inventory needed from previous sales history giving special attention to weekends. Every sale lost is not only a dollar lost, but a customer(s) loss as well. My husband doesn't want us to purchase food there anymore. So not sure when we'll go back.

Chipotle in West Chester, PA - I went in here to get a burrito last week and was disgusted. This girl that was at the register I guess had just got off her break because she walked past me and was still blowing out cigarette smoke from when she was smoking out front of the store. So then she proceeds to stand there and make small talk with another employee instead of doing anything to get meals sold to the customers (she's supposed to be the cashier). Then, she just stands there with a thousand yard stare right past me and, as if she wasn't standing in the front of a restaurant, proceeds to PUT HER HAND DOWN INSIDE THE FRONT OF HER PANTS AND SCRATCH HER "LADY PARTS". LIKE 5 FEET FROM ME! This girl has long braids in her hair and frequently works the cashier position. She is nasty and the fact that she would just absentmindedly do this in front of customers and think it was okay speaks volumes to the quality of staff and management at this location. I was disgusted.
The food prep area is usually dirty. They make a burrito by just slapping down a blob of say guac, meat, rice, beans. So your first bite is all guac, your second is a chunk of meat with some fat on it, third is pure rice etc. The items are supposed to be distributed evenly but they could care less. A small child who was trying to make a burrito could do a better job than them because they are Not trying. They get paid the same whether you like it or not.

I went to corp telling them what was going on but all they did was send free chips and guac. Now let me make this clear. We have never asked for free food, just to make sure our orders are right. I had placed an order yesterday 12/11 and went to the location to pick it up. When I went there the additional side sauces were not even prepared and I still received the same attitudes as I typically do.
I called 12/12 due to I didn't have time to call on 12/11. The so called manager got on the phone and automatically assumed I wanted free food. I became very upset. My coworker that's order was wrong got on the phone. He automatically started arguing with her, stating that we were just looking for free food. She tried explaining everything to him and he kept cutting her off as well as hung up on her. I am tired of this Chipotle. And every time I go in and give them a second chance, they roll their eyes and sigh.

I have read many complaints from previous employees and am shocked by the common theme that permeates these posts. Chipotle does not care about it's employees at all. They fire anyone at any time for no reason, and with no warning. This is how they do business. It is very strange. My daughter was trained on "prep" for 3 days. And although she was an excellent employee, reliable, punctual, friendly, enthusiastic and hard working, she just wasn't fast enough on the prep and was fired on the spot after less than one month. No warnings, no coaching or additional training. Just "next!". They hire and fire at the drop of a hat. The Vero Beach Florida Chipotle has job fairs every Tuesday, what business has job fairs every week that only employs 40 people! I would not recommend Chipotle as a place to work if you were starving, desperate and about to become homeless. Don't waste your time. You'll just get fired. Guaranteed.

Sad to say though ISB Daytona Beach, smallest portions ever, toilets eeeeww, Food poisoning from rice bowl with salad and new soy chili. So bad, I had to visit ER to get anti sickness pills. Knew it was Chipotle's meal as last meal of day and after 2 hours felt very unwell and then, well the meal was history and down the pan.
Have to say though Paneras next door to it also gave me food poisoning 2 weeks prior. These establishments are managed by kids. Clean the ablutions in same aprons that they lean on counter to serve food with, clean seats and tables with same cloths, do not change gloves often enough.... For example they go and clean tables, go through doors and then go help serve food and not change gloves. Odd times seen money handled then food with gloves not changed and rubbing head from sweat, then serving food with sweat infused gloves. This is not just a Chipotle issue, it is standard in USA from what I am experiencing.

Chipotle at Pineville Mathew rd, Charlotte, 28226.... Worst place to go. They never give enough quantity for even one person.. bowl always look like a joke. I told them once that even I will pay you extra but at least give me what I want. If you ask more they give very bad attitude on their face. I never take sour cream, avocado and no meat. At least expect enough quantity to get good sleep after eating.
Another thing, today a girl was eating chips continuously in front of me. They ignore what I say and kept talking to each other. I waited there for 5 minute for my bowl to be finish, the line was on hold after me. She kept on doing her own work and did not tell me that mild salsa was over and won't be coming until 10 more minute. I did not take anything from Chipotle today even after standing in line for 15 minute and went to Which Wich sandwich. Now, people call in their order, including some online. Those requests get priority, slowing the queue to a crawl. Chipotle needs a store double this size with two serving areas and two cashiers. I ordered the crunchy tacos (3) with carnitas as my meat choice! I got the food to go and didn't open until I got back to the office (about 10 minutes later). The bottoms of the "crunchy" tacos were wet and soft from the ingredients and the meat was absolutely bland and tasteless. Just because carnitas is the non-spicy meat choice it doesn't have to mean flavorless!! It was also dry because they don't have a "mild" salsa choice for those of us who don't like spicy! I was able to get down 1 1/2 tacos because of hunger and no other food at the office but just couldn't stomach the rest and started daydreaming about my dinner meal!
