I'm not normally one to complain. But I believe that people need to know this. At approximately 8:15 am on November 21, 2010, I pulled into the drive-thru at Burger King, 181 South Broadway, Salem, NH. There were no cars ahead of me or behind me. In fact, I don't believe there were any patrons in the establishment at the time either since there were only one or two cars in the parking lot. I assumed that they belonged to the workers. I placed my order which included a cup of decaf coffee. I pulled around to the window, paid, then was told by a guy working there that the coffee was brewing. He asked me to pull all the way around the building again or at least pull up so I was off his timer.
I said that that's what timers are for, to see how long it takes to fill an order. I asked if there was anyone behind me. He said no. So, I told him I'd just wait at the window where I was. I didn't get his name. Next the woman working there, Donna (at least that's what her name tag reflected), again, and more emphatically told me that I needed to pull over and park. There were still no other patrons behind me. She was getting pretty rude about it and stated it was within her right to make me move. So I told her that I'd just like my money back. She returned my money. I said that I needed her and his names to make a complaint. She refused, slammed the drive-thru window and locked it.
I went down the street to McDonald's, was treated great, and had my order very quickly. Maybe it was just stupidity on my part for going to a Burger King that had no customers when the McDonald's down the street was, and always is, busy. However, it doesn't surprise me that this Burger King isn't busy when people are treated as I was. To the potential patrons of this establishment, I'm merely reiterating my experience. To the store manager/owner/whatever, I'm guessing that these two were not acting independently and have been instructed to keep the wait-time down. But inconveniencing and being rude to customers shouldn't be the way to do it. I'd recommend keeping the wait-time down by being prepared and properly trained. To the Burger King management and leadership team above the store manager level, I'd offer that you have a problem here that needs to be addressed.

The GM Carmen ** assaulted me.She grabbed me by my jaw. She humiliated me in front of everyone. I did nothing to provoke her to do this to me. Burger king did not do anything to her, for her doing this to me. They allowed it to happen. There was no action taken by Burger King for Carmen ** assaulting me. This caused me humiliation, and emotional stress. I was afraid to go back to work there, because of Carmen **. No one cared. When I reported to the Human Resources of Burger King, they told me that they could not find the video tape, showing Carmen ** assaulting me.
Also, there were three witnesses, who had seen Carmen grab me by my jaw. They were standing right there, but won't tell anything, since thy are afraid of losing their jobs. Their names are Donetta, Chelsey', and Alice. I don't want them to lose their jobs, I just want the truth to come out. I'm not doing this to hurt anyone like I was hurt, I just want to prove to everyone that I'm not a liar, and that I'm not making this up. I don't have anything against Burger King. I just don't understand how they could allow Carmen assault me?

On Sunday evening around 5:30 pm, we (my husband and brother and I) stopped and went through the drive-thru and told the employee at the drive-thru that I had coupons. I had to tell him 3 times what I wanted just to get it right. I was asked what kind of drink I wanted and I asked for unsweetened iced tea with lemon. I was told they no longer served unsweetened iced tea, that they only had Nestea sweetened.
I asked since when and the manager got on the intercom and yelled for over 3 months and she got very rude. My husband started saying she did not have to be rude to me and she just kept yelling. My brother got out of the car and walked around to the door and went in and asked for the manager and I pulled around and parked, went in and asked why I was being disrespected like that. She just kept ordering us out and she said she was calling the Police.
I even gave her my name and address and told her to please call them and send them to my home. They never showed up and the next day I went in to get Bk's corp. phone number and she was there again and I was not allowed to have the number. So here I am trying to make my complaint so I hope something can be done because that manager is in the wrong business.

Burger King advertises "the buck doubler" for one dollar. But a lot of Burger Kings are selling what they advertise for a dollar on T.V. They’re selling for $1.74, which is fraud advertisement. If you don't believe me, go to the Burger King in Manhattan on Delancy Street near the F line train station.

This Burger King location is adding one dollar on to your bill without asking the patron if they would like to contribute to the Jimmy Fund. The Jimmy Fund is a promotion they are currently running. I went to the drive-thru today and when I looked at my receipt I saw one dollar added for the Jimmy Fund. I was not asked to donate. When I questioned the girl at the window she said, "Oh, that's just something the computer is adding on." This can not be legal. Is it? I eat there often and have been charged more than once with out being asked. Please let me know what I can do to get my money back and stop this from happening to anyone else. Thanks. I feel as though I am being ripped off. This can not be a fair practice.

I moved recently, about an hour away but I have been staying with my mom the past couple months as I have been ill and needed to be near my doctors. My mom has one habit and that is going to the Burger King in Collierville once a day, and a majority of the time, twice a day faithfully. Personally, I find the managers not friendly at all and jerks and do not understand her wanting to go there, but I will go with her as she wants me to. Before I go on, I forgot to mention, my mom went to this Burger King since they opened their doors well over 20 years ago. She especially does not like to miss her breakfast there.
One morning, I was sick throwing up and I got over it just in time for her to try to get there but realized she left her money at home as she was in such a rush with me being sick and all. She called the location and one of the manager answered the phone and she asked him if he could just save her a couple sausage biscuits or even whatever they had available and she would be there in just a few minutes. I could not believe he was so rude. He told her in a really almost yelling tone that he had other things to do than save her food for her breakfast. I mean that particular store is not that busy so I know it wasn't like it was packed or anything like that. The managers are not friendly in general and are real **. I do not see why she wants to go there, habit I guess.
I hate going there in the evenings as I cannot drink anything carbonated and they will not make fresh tea and they will let the tea they have available sour and it taste horrible and when you go complain about it, you would expect them to go make some more right away, but they do nothing about it. I end up having to wait until we leave there and get a tea at McDonalds. Also, it bothers me as I have an autistic son and they act like he gets on their nerves. He doesn't bother other customers, or run around in other peoples way, or mess with their equipment. I could go on and on but I will leave it there. If I have a choice, you would not catch me in there. I would go somewhere that the food is decent, they make fresh tea, and my business is appreciated.

I don't have a complaint about a store but I do wonder why after years of most food polls done by lots of food critics about your fries being the worst of the fast food chains that you don't do anything about it.I do like BK better than McDonalds but your fries suck. So when I'm in the mood for fries, I don't go to BK. We all know that the fries are formed instant type potatoes BK is always doing promotions to increase business but I think changing your fries would help business the most. I know that all the people I know feel the same way and I don't understand how you people don't see it.

As I was waiting in line the staff there was talking loud playing around texting. One worker was drumming on the menu sign and rapping. The manager had no control of the staff. They were serving the fries with their hand so I did not order any. Can you please send someone or something down here to help this store? We, the customer are not having it our way! I will go miles away to go to a friendlier and clean Burger King.

I’m sorry to give you bad news. But this Burger King is the worst of all. The people that works there are rude, maybe cause they are all teens. No respect for one another. Always making fun of people. They talk about you if they see you everyday going to buy there. Always with their attitude. Even the supervisor there is always in a rush, asking people, “What you want now?” Come on, at least say, “Good morning. How are you today? May I help you?” I think that Burger King has to be someplace else not in Park City. This place really gives a bad name. I’ve been to other Burger Kings and the supervisor and staff are friendly and caring! They really make me feel so bad. You see them getting, talking about people on line and every time you place and order. Once you get home, they forget to put in your bag like three things. I don’t know if they do that so you wont come back or to bother you.

At approximately 4:30pm cst on July 8th 2010, I pulled up to the drive thru menu at the BK in Vicksburg, MS. It was raining and there was nothing to protect the customer and their vehicle from getting soaked while waiting on the attendant to answer the beep that occurs on the inside. My son and I sat and waited for the attendant to answer the drive thru but nothing. Rain was pouring in my window the whole time and there was not another car in the drive thru line but mine. There was no one inside but, the two employees. I finally got tired of my vehicle getting soaking wet on the inside and decided to leave.
No food is that good. I drove slowly past the window, which was open. I could see the female employee who was supposed to be working the drive thru because the mike was around her throat, talking to the male employee who was probably working the counter. They were both leaned against some piece of furniture behind the counter, table most likely, chatting; not working and not answering the drive thru.
For the record, I hate McDonald's but, I left the BK and went to a McDonald's just a mile from there and got immediate service with a smile. Maybe the employees at this BK need some serious training in customer service.

My boyfriend and me stopped in with our three children at the Burger King located in Aberdeen, WA today. The younger gentleman working the drive thru window handed us a receipt to sign and then literally gave food to us as fast as possible. However, he failed to give my credit/debit card back. We did not even receive a copy of the receipt for the food that was purchased. Because of how tired and stressed we were on just wanting to get home, neither my boyfriend or myself was even thinking about the card at the time until we got home and realized we had no card.
The burger king location is about 150 miles away. Again, we have three children and no time to drive all the way back to get my card. I called the Burger King location and talked to a woman by the name of Shawna who claimed to be the store manager at the time. She would not even take the second to apologize. Shawna had even refused to send my card back to me or mail it to Wells Fargo. She wanted us to drive back there to get my card back. In no way are we able to. That would be roughly three hundred miles round trip with the three children. There was no effort on the companies part to offer assistance in this very stressful now heated argument with the store. There was no responsibility from the store. The manager placed all blame on the customer. In the stores policies, the customer is just as important.
I have already called the bank and closed the card. This is beyond stressful, time consuming, worrisome since identity theft is heavy and not one apology from the store or manager at the time. What can be done? The manager said that my card is in a lock box. Well, what about before that? My number and information and name was just floating. Shawna's answer was for me to call a man named Jeff to place a complaint on her. She never mentioned anything about contacting Jeff in regards to my card. This Shawna person took no accountability for the employees action in keeping a customers card. Anyone who has children would understand that your mind is in no place to remember a card as there is screaming from the children, food being rushed, cars behind waiting, stress from the fourth of July, tiredness, fussiness, the list goes on and on.
Shawna was not a manager. She did not act in a professional manner. She put the blame on the customer, which is the wrong thing to do. This was at the Aberdeen, WA Burger King location. Not professional in any way. No company should ever put blame on the customer. The employee had my card. With her as a manager, she is representing Burger King. It does become her responsibility, and therefore, she should be taking responsibility.

This is a warning to all who eat at the Clearfield, Pennsylvania Burger King. There's a short [clerk] with glasses that works there that will hit on you (if you’re a guy), but then will become as mean as a snake to you if you don't have any interest. I use to eat there all the time, but now today, I'm never eating there again. When I was going there, I met a girl that worked there, but that [clerk] would keep trying to cut in between us, and hit on me. I eventually did get the other girls number, and went on a date with her, but as soon as that happened that [other] started being [rude].
Today, I left there (after being treated [rudely] yet again), and when I got home, I decided to check my food before eating it and surely enough there was spit all threw it. I ended tossing it all out, so there’s about $9.00 down the drain. Here's a quick message to her and people like her that may be reading this; if you can't handle rejection or can't remain professional, you should probably not work in a public service job. I don't know the exact amount her temper tantrum cost me because she was way too busy throwing a fit to give me my receipt, but I ordered a Large sized number 2 (Double Whopper with Cheese Meal) that came to eight dollars and some cents (roughly 9 bucks).

My husband and I went through drive thru, placed and paid for it. They told us to pull up. Fries were not ready and they would bring food out to us. Well, the girl came out without any food and asked my husband to come inside. Something is wrong with the order. Then the manager and this girl that came out started flirting with my husband, telling him how fine he was and asking him who was in the truck him. Needless to say, I was furious. This was one of my favorite restaurants and I would go there 4-5 times a week, if not more. Now I don't feel comfortable going there. Very unprofessional and disrespectful employees. On 4-17-2010, my daughter and I went to the Burger King located at W Indiantown Rd. Jupiter Fl. We went through the drive thru, ordered 2 cheeseburger kids meals, one with a coke and the other with an orange soda. My 8 year old daughter finished her drink, opened the top thinking that there was ice in the cup, only to find that a large piece of the soda machine had fallen into her cup. It was the spout to the soda dispenser. I immediately went back to the store to complain.
The manager on duty responded by saying "oh, that is the top to the soda machine, it falls off all the time." Then she tried to give me another soda as if that would make things better. I explained to her that I did not want another drink, in fact that I wanted my money back and I wanted to speak to the store owner. This is not sanitary or safe for anyone to have this in there drink.
For some reason, she didn't understand me saying that it was disgusting or understand my frustration, so she said that all she could do was to give me the number to the supervisor that would be in on Monday. You can rest assure that I will never go to that Burger King again and that I will notify the County Health Department and whoever else I feel needs to know about the unsafe and unsanitary things that are going on in this establishment. Shame on them.

This case happened on March 17. I bought 2 fish burgers for my son that night for the next day. I put them into the refrigerator when I got home, which was 20 minutes after I purchased the food. The next day, I put the burger into the microwave oven to heat before serving to my son. A few minutes after my son started to eat, I heard he yelled "Mom, something wrong on this burger, it tastes disgusting." I found a big area of black on the bottom bun. I thought it might be burned. When I approached closely to check it, it smells like mold. I felt very bad for my son. He even chewed and swallowed such bad food.
I brought the molded burger back to the Burger King, they asked me to filling in a complaint form and said they would contact me but I haven't got any call from them since then. I tried to call the restaurant. The manger named Veruska said nothing new except keeping waiting for the management to contact me. I don't know how long we need to wait for their response. It has been 3 weeks since the case happened. The only thing we can do is to avoid Burger King and remind other people to be careful when you eat it.

When I explained to her what had happened, she told me that there were only 2 people in the restaurant because she had just come back from the bank. Excuse me, this was lunch time. I was shopping at Visat Ridge Mall on 01/09/2010 on a Saturday. While walking around the mall we decided to place an order for 3 adults and 2 children we placed the order for 3 combo meals king sized and 2 kids’ meals. We received our order and proceeded to go home to partake of our meals and noticed we were missing a #2 with cheeses king sized and called the mall location back to make them aware of our dilemma hoping it would be resolved and we were told to pick it up next time we were at the mall.
We went back to get what we were missing Sunday 1/10/2010 and we approached a female cashier the only girl working at that time and she was extremely rude laughing and huddling with co-workers making fun of our dilemma. After about 10 minutes of waiting a shift supervisor by the name of Allen said he would have to make a call to get us taken care of about 15 minutes he ask us if we remember the restaurant phone number and because the number was written down at home and we didn’t remember it he refused to do anything. My final words are it is indicative that burger kings hires such employees and puts customers through so much turmoil to get what they are owed. I will never walk into another burger king unless this is resolved and you can take that to the bank.

Burger King's commercial, featuring Sponge Bob Square Pants and the King dancing to a rap song while the women prance around with telephone books in their pants to make their butts square is inappropriate for children, is sexist, should not be run during prime time or day time television, is offensive, and racist. At the end of the commercial, the rapper says booty is booty and then the commercial talks about buying a kid's meal. What does booty have to do with food; why is there a black rapper talking about “booty is booty;” and what message is Burger King delivering; and who is the targeted population? As a black female, as a parent, as an aunt, I feel this derogative commercial is specifically targeting black children and adults because of the type of dancing, the music selected and the rapper at the end. I am also offended by the sexual innuendos (language and movement).
I am sure that this has to have a psychological effect on our children who see/experience enough negativity in their daily lives. I am sure that Burger King, without being offensive, sexist, insensitive and racist, can come up with a more creative way of selling their product. I would like to see this ad pulled and an apology submitted.

As a long time customer of Burger King, I find this whole thing very distasteful and until they pull this commercial, I will no longer book birthday parties, nor will I allow them to attend one at any of the Burger King restaurants. Under the women's clothing were very large, square shaped boxes indicating that women were sex objects and their buttocks should be observed very closely. The man singing the song said that booty is booty and had two sexy, full-figured women sitting on each side of him. The demographics were for adults. I think they were having their last order they cut the line of guest piled up at the counter and they said they were already closed. good thing we already ordered at the cashier. since they were already closing, we decided eat our food inside the movie theater. since they dont have much product available the cashier told us that if it's possible if we could wait for 5 to 10 minutes. since i am suffering from POLIO (my one leg was shorter than the other leg)i lean beside the highchair next in me, just to release the pain im suffering everytime i stood up for a long time.
everything was ok until the manager named Haidee scolded at me infront of the other customer who are also waiting for their orders, in a very unpleasing and humiliating manner she told me that i wasn't supposed to sit at the high chair (I'm not even sitting i just need some support) i was so very humiliated that time that i walked out of the restaurant and let my partner wait for our orders.
by that time i said to myself to let it go. but when we are at the movie theater already, we were so surprised that our orders were totally wrong. with that kind of experience i realize to do something about it. this is the first time i'll be complaining. im hoping they could do something about her (the manager) and whole restauratn as well. thanks

I love Burger Kings food and was so happy when they opened one locally but will continue to drive way out of my way to avoid this store. The employees are so rude they talk back to you! When i ordered cheese and got none, i took my ticket to the counter and requested cheese. the ticket was snatched from my hand when the burger maker screamed out that she made the burger how that woman wanted them though clearly BOTH tickets read whooper jr. W/CHEESE. the burger maker continued to mumble rude things under her breath as she literally threw the burgers(same burgers, mind you, not properly re-made burgers) as the manager, who i can't get more than a first name from and that's because it's one his name tag stood there and smiled. And that's all he did.
The next visit was just as bad. It took 25 minutes to get my order. I stood there as the counter help served and had a long chat about the days happenings with friends as half my order sat and got cold. After the counter help and their friends had their gathering, i was then told it would be a few more minutes while they put more chicken down to cook. Which, in itself, isn't so bad except that i had already stood there for almost 15 minutes waiting for these so called employees to chat up their friends. The was no manager in sight. End result was half a bag of cold burgers & fries topped with 2 badly made, but hot, chicken sandwiches and 3 disappointed family members!

My complaint is with How customer service has went completely out the window. You drive up to the speaker to order your food start placing your order and even before you are through telling them what you want they are rushing you saying will that be all? so you politely tell them know and contiue on with your order and again before you are finished they are asking will that be all? after they finally quit asking you if that will be all you finish your order and drive to the window only to be rushed again.
They ask for your payment which you hand them and yes I mean THEM. Two people at the window one is trying to shove your drink in your hand before you can even hand your money over. You try to put your drink in the drink holder and they are shaking your bag of food at you and giving you your change back all at the same time. God only graced me with two hands not the four that is trying their best to have me out of their window in 10 seconds flat. You know I could understand if they were really busy but no one was in line behind me.
After they were done shoving everything at me they acted as if I had commited a crime when I asked for Ketchup and Jelly ( it was breakfast ). This is not the only bad expericnce I have had with drive thrus- Often I get asked to pull up to WAIT for my order- I ask why do I need to pull up if no one is waiting behind me and I was told Because your on my time - They have sensors in the drive thru that colck how long a customer has to sit and wait. They were having a contest with other Burger kings so in order for them to get a good score I had to be inconvienced ( the customer) What ever had to customer relations?????

In a nutshell, this female manager/supervisor has very nasty attitude and should not be working for any position that deals with customers. I was asking whether I was overcharged for what I ordered. She said I owed them couple more cents for an extra burger? (I didn't want an extra burger!) She got upset and clasped my receipt in her hand then threw it on the floor.
I will not go to this BK store again. And I will post my experience online wherever I can.

The woman working the drive through window was wearing her headphones and using her hands to turn the microphone off and on. She would take the money from the customer, put it in the cash register and proceed directly to the french fries and scoop them in the box. I mentioned to the manager that she should not be handling food and money at the same time. The manager said she was supposed to be washing her hands after each transaction. I told the manager that she was not doing it. The manager shrugged her shoulders and kept working.
Burger king lost me as a customer. The cross contamination could have caused customers to become ill.

On Sat, Feb 23, 2008 at approx 12:30 p.m., my husband and I went into this Burger King location to get some lunch. I had a coupon for a free whopper as long as I purchased a drink and fries. The employee taking our order said it was expired. This coupon had NO EXPIRATION DATE. We were handed our cups and went to get our soda. There was NO ICE or CO2 (only syrup) for the sodas. We mentioned this to management, and he gave us an attitude. The employee was getting our order ready and she was picking up our french fries with her hands. She was NOT wearing any gloves. Management was standing next to this employee and saw her do this and said nothing. We asked for some (4) ranch dressing packets, they opened the small refrigerator and gave them to us btu 2 of them were bad (out of date). If these things were wrong, who is to say that there is NO hot or cold water, refrigerator is not working among other things or other bad food?

Because my son loves trucks I took him and his baby brother to BK as a special treat. I ordered my son's Happy Meal and was trying to decide what I wanted to eat. While standing there I watched one of the workers as he was putting Burgers together. He was wearing gloves which was good, but he got an itch under his arm pit, shoves his hand down his shirt, scratched for a while (he saw me looking) THEN HE TOOK HIS HAND OUT AND WENT RIGHT BACK TO PUTTING BURGER PATTIES ON THE ROLLS! I felt sick.
The manager asked what I wanted, and I told him what I saw and that I could not eat anything. He tells the worker to wash his hands and says to me, "There are other people working here that didn't touch the food." My reply, "How do I know they weren't scratching something else?" Besides all that, the restaurant was filthy, the service so slow. The drive-thru girls paced back and forth frustrated, saying I need drugs to deal with this %&#! I didn't dare go in bathrooms. I drank a bottle of water, and when my son finished we left.
No damage resulted other than feeling sick to my stomach. I feel so insulted that the manager of this BK thinks this filth and unsanitary behavior is good enough for us because we live in the country. I would close it down until it was cleaned and new workers trained properly. I will never go there, and I'm telling everyone what I saw....

My daughter had won a 25.00 crown card in the which spidey are you game. When we tried to get a prize claim envelope from FOUR different stores, we were told everything from (we don't know what that is) to (we thought the game was over so we threw them away) to just blank stares. I even called corporate office and was given an address to claim an envelope. I told the guy that I didnt have time for that because it had to be postmarked by the 16 of July. He said thats the best he could do. So my daughter dosen't get her prize and I wasted 10.00 worth of gas trying to get a silly envelope. I would have thought corporate would have at least taken an extra step to allow me to claim this prize.

i have my own landscaping company and i am out a lot and eat lunch at burger king quite often, but this store made me so mad today 6-25-07 that i have to tell someone. i am calling their 1-800 tomorrow also to complain. we were at the drive through today i pulled up to the screen and waited, after a while i said hello several times and continued to wait, after a couple of minutes i drove around and there were 2 cars ahead of me they got their orders and then a car drove around behind me, i said that i was waiting at the screen but know one said anything and i proceeded to order, she screamed the order to the main counter and the lady there said i would have to drive around again. i was in a hurry and i did not want to wait in line behind other cars again after being in the drive thru lane already to long. she said there was nothing they could do for me there, i asked for a manger and a latino man came and said there was nothing he could do and i would have to drive around through the line again, all i wanted was 2 combo meals for me and my son in the truck with me. i told them they would lose my business if they could not take care of me and my $10 order, he said o-well, i cursed and drove off quite angry, nothing like this had ever happended to me like this at a fast food restaurant.
