    My husband and I have both been hacked in the past few days. They stole 400$ from my card. Someone in Chicago, stole 500$ from my husband's card from New York. That was supposed to be our 800$ rent this month. Still haven't heard anything back yet. So disappointed and behind on rent and money now.

    I have a MoneyCard with a damaged magnetic strip. My Direct Deposit goes on this card. When calling there is no option for human communication. I really need help. I was also told I can purchase a new card but that will transfer my funds.

    My account was blocked for suspicious activities. On March 9 they blocked my account. Which I didn't know. Try to use. Said I need to send in proof of my ID. I sent in on the 11th. Said it would be unblocked within 2 days. I need to resend. I resent on the 12. Said it would be another 2 days. Went to the website. Said that I could still use for purchasing. Couldn't withdraw cash. I have called and not get anywhere. I had to use my mom's card to talk to anyone... Hung up on a few times. Wait times like 45 minutes and then told that there was nothing they could do. Couldn't even explain why my account was blocked just suspicious activities. This is the 15 and my card is still blocked. Sent ID 3 times and still haven't got anywhere. I can't even get my meds filled which I have to have for my breathing. My power will be turned off and they tell me that there isn't anything they can do. I'm on disability and they could care less if my children and I are doing without.

    According to my Walmart Card TOS - I can access 3k per day from ATMs - I am purchasing a car and need the cash to make this purchase, after I withdrew money on day 1, I tried again to withdraw the max on day 2, I wasn’t able to withdraw any funds from any source, now it’s been a week and I still cannot access MY money. I am a disabled person, who truly needs to be able to access my own money. I tried calling but I had no luck reaching an actual person and it seemed like my account was fine, so this is really infuriating. I will never use a Walmart card again. It’s just a predatory device and can really put people in a bad situation.

    I have always had good luck with my card from Walmart but I had put some money on it and the next day it was blocked. What I found out their reason was suspicious activity and said I had to send a picture ID and every time I do it says, "You submitted documents that were not legible." So I clear them up on my computer and still got the same thing again. It's been more than 2 days and I cant get a response from them email or nothing. I see a lot of people are having the same problem. I used my card often. Is there anyone there at Green Dot bank to help resolve it?

    I have had a card with Walmart for over two years now and never experienced any issue until last week, I went to log in to my account to view my balance and was told my account has been blocked for further review due this is precious activity. I do not participate in any suspicious activity. I had direct deposit from Apple Pay deposited to my account several times. Now I’m being told that I will be contacted by someone by phone to have my card on blocked. It has been a week with no update. I have called every day and they asked me to upload my documents. They’ve told me they have received my documents but yet don’t return any phone calls. Don’t have a manager on hand. Don’t have any resource to get my account fixed in my funds released to me.

    I have a Walmart MoneyCard which I loaded $1500 on March 13 2018. I made a online purchase for $433 the same night after loading the money then tried to make a bill payment and my card declined it. I called Walmart MoneyCard to see what was the problem and they said I had a fraudulent use on my card asking me to upload a photo ID “which I did”. Then their response was “after reviewing my ID it could not be verified” so they blocked my account and told me there would be no refund available to me??? I just want my money back. I don’t wanna have to go through the process of filing a lawsuit about my money but I will. I have 4 kids, a baby on the way and bills that need to be paid as of today March 14 2018 that’s due for disconnection if not paid by today... They won’t let me speak to corporate about the issue. I was told to wait until I receive a call. There’s nothing they can do. Smh.

    I've had this card and even suggested it to family & friends, I've been a client for many years in fact. All was well until a few years ago when I noticed errors in my balance and such, was able to call and get it taken care of. Then not much after this there was many many other clients who were not able to access their funds for the longest time, months, even a lawsuit was started and has since been paid off, they never once made a formal explanation of this, so then I started to be very non-trusting with this company! When a company refuses access, there's a big problem! So then my account was fixed after reporting this to the CA, and other govt agencies, they offered me something for my issues, which was hardly anything, but was something.

    Anyhow, moving along, since this past summer I have not been able to access my account online! I thought maybe I'd been hacked or something, changed my password, except I noticed I would never receive the password, my email was not getting the emails, so then after noticing this 'security check' that was new to me on their login screen, it contained an email that it would be sent to, but it was not mine! Even after calling (learn English please!!!) and getting into an argument over them reading a script and not knowing as much as most 5th graders with English or understanding, they told me there was no way to change my email so I would have to get another card, so I did that, paid more money, and even signed up via my phone, same thing again! Even signing up it puts the wrong email address!!

    I think that there is a reason they do not want myself or anyone seeing their online accounts, so that we may not see the malicious actions that are going on with our accounts! Stealing is against the law, and preventing a customer from accessing their account and immediate 24/7 access is the law, especially when you are talking about a bank that has your money, so I doubt this will ever be fixed but I thought I would share my experience and hope, or pray, like it will work, to actually be able to access my account online using my computer, NOT my phone or cell phone, which I'm very leery of anyways. If it's not fixed I will be forced to pull the plug and go with another company, something of which I don't want to do, but I cannot keep being held behind the smoke screen with this company!! I don't trust you Walmart MoneyCard, or Green Dot, whichever is doing this!

    They blocked my account and denied my verification the day before my refund was suppose to be deposited. This is after I sent a picture of my ID several times. On top of that I have been on hold trying to resolve this problem for over 45 minutes and I am still on hold. I am furious! There is no reason why my card should have been blocked in the first place. I checked my transactions and there was no suspicious activity whatsoever on my account. Now I can never open another account with them ever again and I probably will have trouble getting my refund now so thanks Walmart MoneyCard.

    Everything was going fine with card for about 4 months, then there was 2 transactions that I did not do. They were in another state. I called customer service right away, I let them know that someone had used my card information to make 2 transactions. The person on the phone said they were issuing me another card, I let him know my tax refund was supposed to be deposited in about 5 days. So this person waived the fee and told me that I would receive the card in 4 days. I am thinking good that would be perfect because my refund was supposed to be deposited around the same time. The next day I get an email saying that my account was blocked, I cant unblock my account until I send them my driver's license. Well I can't send in my driver's license until I get the new card.

    I get the new card send in my driver's license, then I get this automated message saying I can no longer add money to card or ever get another Walmart card again. I feel like I was treated like a criminal for someone else using my card. Plus I still have not gotten that money back, and my tax refund was sent back to the IRS which is now under review because my account was blocked. So that will be another 10 wks to receive that. You need to come up with a better system to fight fraud, I will stick with my regular bank account.

    I too have an account that is blocked by them unexpectedly. I deposited a check 10 days ago into an account that I have had for almost a year. The check has cleared. And yet I am suppose to wait for some person to call me back tomorrow, but was told the same thing this past Friday. Would gladly take care of verifying who I am, if I can get someone to actually talk to me instead of getting rude ladies who won't help you.

    An absolute joke. This company’s customer service needs to be trained on knowing their job. I have spoken with 12-15 different people so far after my account was blocked without notifying me. I was told to send a document. I did and it was received. I was told it would be unblocked within 24 hours. The stories go on and on. Here it is 3 days later and no access to my money. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone and can’t wait to close this card! Horrible!!!

Everyone I've talked to are idiots and have no clue about anything and have been no help in unblocking my card and yet there is a block on my card yet they can pull a $5 convenience fee off my card. I am contacting an attorney and suing them if my card is not unblocked today!

    So I have a deposit date for my taxes on 03/14/2018, GRANTED it's only 03/12/2018, My ORIGINAL card was send out 02/06/2018... I never received this card, so my tax company had to send out a new one on 02/27/18. WELL I didn't get this one until 03/09/2018. It was the blue temporary card that you set up and SHOULD USUALLY be able to use until you get your permanent card about 2 weeks later. Well that wasn't the case for me. They told me I cannot use this TEMPORARY card and that they would have to sent out a new one, of course they like to hire people to talk on phones that you CANNOT understand whatsoever! Anyways she couldn't tell me why I couldn't use this temp card so she would EXPEDITE it and it would be there 5 days later on 03/13/2018.

    Well call today to just check the balance to see if the money was on there and what do you know... MY ACCOUNT IS BLOCKED, for no ** reason in the world so they asked for my Driver's License and I sent it to them. THEN the guy on the phone who works for Walmart has the NERVE to say "well you can have it sent to my address and I will send it to your address". HAHAHA ** no! Not sending $3000.00 to your house. I mean really Walmart just hires anyone huh??? Anyways long story short I'm gonna have to call the IRS and have them mail me a paper check and wait 3-6 weeks but at least I know I'll get my money. ** the Walmart MoneyCard and Green Dot card and to think I was going to use it for my actual payroll check weekly also. I will get on here and give them a bad review on every site I can. NEVER AGAIN!!!

    I have had the Walmart MoneyCard for some time. This week I received an email my account was blocked. I sent in a copy of my driver's license to prove identity as requested. Later I try to log in my account. It says my account has been closed. I can't reach anyone via telephone. The automated phone number just hangs up on me. I have quite a bit of money on there. My employment check was just deposited. I can't give my children anything right now. I have 4 daughters. This has been very frustrating. I don't know what to do.

    My wife talked me into getting a Wal-Mart money card a few weeks ago since the only card I have ever used was my American Express Bluebird but not all places accept AE. Once I loaded money onto the card I was able to make one transaction and after my next two transactions transactions were declined. I was told that my card was blocked and I needed to submit additional information to verify my identity and in order to do that I had to wait until personalized card came in. Once it came in my wife uploaded a copy of my driver’s license as asked to do.

    After waiting to be verified still not being able to use funds on my card I was told by the automated system that my identity couldn't be verified and I could never create another account and they just took my money. The money I need for my family. I'm very displeased and upset with this whole situation. And need that money back so just a warning to anyone else that goes to use it. I can't believe there's no way to talk to a person. I feel that I was robbed. Now our electric is threatened to be shut off. I would love to upload a receipt and positive review if I had access to my money.

    So today on the 9th of March I had to pick up a debit card from Wal-Mart to pay my AT&T internet bill. Well activation of it was going very well till I was sent to a agent. She started asking me questions. First off I couldn't hear her for all the background noise from everyone else in the room talking and typing. I let her know this. Number two I didn't understand a word she was saying because her English language was horrible and I let her know several times that I was having that problem and could someone else help. All she did was send my card through knowing it would be declined. Now I'm out 60 dollars that I can't use to pay my AT&T internet bill because I have no place to pay it in person. This needs to be handled please because now I owe late fees.

    They finally called and unblocked my account said it had to deal with my state refund being deposited on my card. I would not recommend putting your tax return on card I pray everyone put here gets your money back soon. I will not be using that card again.

    They have closed my account. I tried to use it on Wednesday March 7th 2018 and my card was declined. I then tried to pull money out got declined. So I called them at 877 937 4098. They asked for card number or social security number. They said "account has been closed and you will not be able to open another card with this bank". I have also emailed no response. The bank is Green Dot bank and when you call them says same thing. I have over $500 in my account and don't get paid for 2 weeks. I don't understand why they did this and have not attempted to contact me in any way. A legit company would at least give an explanation about this very serious situation. I don't know what I am suppose to do. They have all the leverage, control, and my money. What is going on.

    Walmart Visa Prepaid card - Green Dot customer service is NON EXISTING! It is completely unheard of the way they operate a business and STEAL people's money by not allowing them access to the money they have on their cards and then not having any way to contact them besides an automated answering service that hangs up on you. I will NEVER do business with them again!!!

    Ever since I purchased the Walmart MoneyCard I have been having problems. The only reason why I bought this card is to get my Direct Deposit early so I can pay for my bills a few days early. They had deactivated my card without letting me know and now they have blocked my account, I cannot even call customer service because every time I call it does not give me an option to speak to a live person. I called and asked if I can have my money transferred into another Green Dot account but each time I was denied.

    I had notified them a few times that every time they mailed me a card I did not receive it. So I changed my mailing address to see if that would help. But I really do need my money. I am late on my bill payments which are accumulating late fees. I don't know what to do and I am very frustrated!!! All I want is my money that I worked hard for. Customer service would not even help me at all. I don't even have a card to enter to reopen my account because it has been blocked. PLEASE HELP!!!

    I have had this card for many years... in the last two years at tax time about $700 always comes up missing... first time overseas second time to a state I’ve never even visited!! Nor has the other cardholder. When I called to dispute both times they would not stop the pending charges. If I dispute my money should be back on there immediately!!! I had not used my debit card since end of December and begins of January until taxes came in then all of a sudden within 24 hours or less of transactions was reported. This makes me feel that your system is compromised and I can no longer trust my money with this company. Since this has happened I went and opened an actual checking account!!!     I lost my card on 3/3, so I went online to my account and purchased a replacement card. I got an email stating that I should receive it in the mail in 5-7 days. The next morning I got an email stating that my card was deactivated and that I will need to send in a picture of my ID to verify my identity. I logged into the Walmart Money Card app, and it stated my account has been blocked, and that the money I had in my savings/"STASH" account had been sent over to my card, WHICH IS DEACTIVATED!! I have over $800 dollars in my stash that I'm hoping hasn't vanished! I went online to try to send the picture to verify my identity, and it requires my card number, which is NO LONGER VALID, because I had already cancelled it. So I call the customer service line, and had to sit on hold for 30 minutes to reach someone. They finally give me an email address to send my verification to, but tell me I cannot access any of my money until my identity is verified.

    I sent it yesterday afternoon and as of the following morning, I have heard NOTHING. I also had a direct deposit setup to go into this account today, and it has not gone in. I hope that the money goes in there and that I can regain access to my funds. This is the worst experience I have ever had to deal with in a company. I have NO ACCESS to any of my money and I am totally broke right now thanks to Green Dot. I need immediate help from Walmart/Green Dot to get access back to my card TODAY!! I cannot go without my funds! Someone please help me ASAP!!!

    I had called the customer care line a few times. I’m upset cause there was one lady who was rude. I called to say I had lost my card Saturday. I called within the 24hour limit to see if I could get it expedited. They told me to call around 5 or 6 so I did. They said I went over 24 hour limit.     I’ve never really had a problem with my Walmart MoneyCard. But my card got damaged (the strip wouldn’t read). And I was waiting on my federal refund. It posted. I was just trying to get a car. Yes. They helped me out. But they kept being deceptive. I was told numerous things. And they were all incorrect. Now they’ve blocked my account. I have to wait on the replacement card to even get started on this issue. And to make matters worse. I had to verify with my ID. And the address that I have them sending my replacement card to doesn’t match the address on my driver's license. So I already know they will not remove the block.

    I will never use this company again. Because my paychecks will start going to this account in two weeks and I have a weird feeling y’all might try to close my account when you guys were actually in the wrong. Something needs to be done because you shouldn’t be putting restrictions on people’s money and then make them suffer to get it back. It isn’t right and it isn’t fair. I’m just going to try to close this account and find another card to use because this is getting out of control. I need this issue addressed.

    I intially applied for a rapid refund loan and unfortunately denied. After being denied, my tax return was still loaded on a Walmart MoneyCard. I have a local bank I do buisness with so I preferred not to keep this card. In order for me to have access to my full refund, I had to close the account and the remaining balance would be mailed to me in a form of a check. This all took place on the 21st of February 2018. It is March 7th 2018 and I have yet to receive anything. Since my account is no longer active I'm unable to even speak to a live person regarding my issue. I think it's quite ridiculous to be a national bank and not even able to speak to a PERSON. I'm beyond frustrated and furious.     I have been unable to register my new Walmart MoneyCard. I have tried both online and by phone. It errors out saying I have entered incorrect information. I have done it several times with the same result, and I am sure I have not made an error. I have tried calling for help and get only an automated system that is of no help, and there is no way even online to get help. No phone number to call a real person, only an address to write for help. I don't understand how a big company like Walmart does not have a 24X7 help center for this.

    I'm at the point where after years of having certain direct deposits sent to my acct I'll be closing the acct out as soon as I have access to my money again. My card was cracked so I ordered a new one. I waited on hold to give y'all the correct address. After weeks of waiting y'all still sent my card to an old address. Ok. So then y'all send another one.     I got a money card at Walmart so I get my taxes deposited on to the card. I registered my card and gave IRS routing number from the paperwork I got with the card. I never received my personal card so I called and asked why. They said they didnt issue me one and I now can't use my card for my taxes.     Customer service don't know what they are doing. Everything from deposits to refunds to purchases takes time on this card. Oh I forgot about the fees. 3 dollars to add money, 1 dollar to purchase, 2.5 dollars for atm plus the atm fee, 5 dollar if you have less than 1000 dollars in your account, and last but not least they add a fee when you make a purchase online from an overseas company. Let me also add that that card doesn't work for online purchases for the first day you purchase the card. You will easily spend more than 150 dollars in fees in the first month of use. Stay away and don't waste your hard earned money on this card.

    Evening ladies & gents. I'm just trying to get some support from either of you (Green Dot or Walmart MoneyCard). I'm a father of 3 & like anyone need funds when available to me to be exactly that available to me so that my children & wife are taken care of. As of today 3-5-18 it's been 5 days since I haven't been able to access my funds via my Walmart MoneyCard. All of sudden out of nowhere "unusual activity" was suspected by the company. No notification to me or alert to myself or my wife on the suspected activity. The problem with the activity is there hasn't been much for the past entire month. A few cash loads and some retail transactions and that's it.

    Nonetheless card has been blocked since Wednesday 2-28-18. A request by Walmart MoneyCard services to send in driver's license of primary account holder which is my wife was sent in immediately. We were asked to wait 24-48 hours for resolution & verification of document sent in. That was end of business on Friday 3-2-18. As of today we are still blocked out & absolutely no explanation except that we as "Walmart MoneyCard" are waiting to hear from our corporate partner to give us an update. Who takes accountability for this kind of non-communication?

    The most unfortunate part about this situation is that our children have suffered all week and the weekend. Today this morning my kids went to school without lunch money because all of our funds are tied up into the MoneyCard. There is no way to get to an actual person that can actually lift the block. We are a family of 5 with no access to our funds at all. At risk of losing our rental home within the next two days, unable to pay our car payment, purchase food for our children all within a matter of a few days. Wal-Mart MoneyCard nor Green Dot care about those little things. I'm prepared at this point to go to our local Fox News affiliate to bring our story to light. This I'm sure is happening to other people in different states as well. Please help us get this resolved as we need to have access to our funds.

    My Walmart card is great. I have direct deposit so I have no fee and before direct deposit the fee wasn't too bad but it did increase after awhile. I was not happy about that but I can pay my bills from online from my Walmart MoneyCard account.     The only thing I dislike about the Walmart Money Card is that it has a daily limit on the ATM withdrawal and the limited amount of transfers one can do via the vault.     It's a good card for one that can't always get to a physical bank. Being able to transfer funds via PayPal is a big help. App is simple and easy to use. My only issue is the strip wears down easily or is damaged quickly. Did have issues linking my outside savings account which triggered an account lock. The security was appreciated but some notice would have been nice.

    I have been using Walmart money cards with Green Dot bank for years with no problem. I finally after five years got my disability so I set up direct deposit with my monthly check. I get paid the first of every month and the Social Security shows my check was process on the first but I still don't have my money. I called the number on the back of my card with trace number but got nowhere with them that could not speak proper English. Once my money does show up I will never use their service again!!!

    Bought new card. Went to activate online and it will let me fill in all the boxes except date of birth. Called "customer service". HORRIBLE experience! The lady spoke broken English and I had to repeat everything at least twice! I asked to speak with someone how knew the English language and was told that wasn't possible. Just going to use money I loaded on card and find another prepaid debit card company! I'm going to call their customer service first to make sure they speak English!

    I had a Walmart MoneyCard through Green Dot for over a year. On 2/27/18 they blocked my card, when I called I was given no reason just told I had to send a copy of my driver's license to verify my identity and in 24 to 48 hours the card would be unblocked. So I emailed them my info on 2/28/18 at 9:03 am. I have confirmation it was delivered. I called everyday with the same runaround. Here it is 5 days later still blocked. I have contacted 2 lawyers who will take my case if I don't have access to my money by Monday! Once I do get access I am taking it all and going to the bank with it! I feel scammed! The people who do talk to after waiting on hold half an hour can't even speak decent English! Do not use this service. They give no warning, no communication when they decide to not let you access your money!

    My card info was stolen 2-26. Walmart locked my card 2-27, I sent photo ID and Social Security card 2/28, got a new card on 3/2. Still cannot access my funds, when I speak to someone they tell me they don’t have a supervisor. I have kids to feed, rent, a car note and bills to pay. I am out of resources while Walmart is holding my money now for a week. I’ve used them for 3 years no problem. Now, I’m considering getting a lawyer to fight for what’s mine.     On February 22, 2018 the Walmart MoneyCard by Green Dot received my federal income tax and blocked my card from transferring. They claim you can transfer up to $3000.00 a month in total. I wasn’t able to transfer a dollar. I called many times and never got a call back as they had suggested. Never received an email. I spoke with a so called supervisor that knew absolutely nothing about my case. The Representative cancelled my card and expedited one which I was charged 15.00. I’m requesting those funds back as well.

    My card didn’t need to be expedited if they were going to continue the block in my card. The block was placed on my card when they cancelled and sent me a new card. I sent a copy of my I.D. and they aren’t accepting it. They told me they’d accept it if I’d send it to the IDV department. I’m fed up now. You can’t get to anyone. I’m in need of my funds. This isn’t right. I had things to do and now I’m set back until they get this right. I’ve run out of patience. This is unacceptable.

    I purchased a Walmart MoneyCard. I asked my daughter to activate the card for me while I was at work. My daughter entered the wrong digits for my Social Security number. We noticed when I attempted to phone in a payment iTunes U was declined. Also the automated told my daughter I would not be sent a card in the mail and the Walmart money card could only be used face to face transactions. I called customer services. I had to enter option 2 which is for lost or stolen or not received card. There was no option that listed to speak to representative. The customer service person I spoke with was able to update my addresses which my daughter had entered the wrong zip code.

    My daughter lucky wrote everything she entered down which made it easy to pinpoint the errors. She entered the 99 instead of 00. The customer service person had no empathy. I informed him I had a deadline to post a payment which is why I purchased the card. He said he was not sure why my card had these limitations. I told him it was most likely due to the discrepancy with the Social Security number. I offered to give him the one entered and the correct one. He declined and stated there’s was nothing he could do.

    He was withdrawn and could care less the grief this was causing me. He stated I can close the account and have my money returned within 2 weeks via check. I informed him I had a payment to post by today. This was going to cost me late fees. I expressed to him my bad experience with this card and that I would be entering a bad review. He said, "Is that all," and the conversation ended with, "Have a nice day." Horrible. No problem solution. No customer service. Very little help. It was very easy to deposit my hard earn money in this card. That was a breeze. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CARD.

    I reported my card lost on 1/26/18 and when I didn't receive it with 10 business days I called and was told it was returned. After confirming my address was correct and hadn't changed it was supposed to be resent but expedited at Walmart MoneyCard's expense. I never received it. After 4 business days I still didnt get the card. When I called the automated system still says my card was returned. I spoke to a representative who told me the card would be resent via expedited delivery. I waited and still no card after 4 days.

    I called back and spoke to another supervisor who told me she was going to try to send the card normal mail since we had no success with expedited delivery. I waited 7 days and no card. I called back today 03/03 and spoke to another supervisor who told me she checked my account and noticed something was overlooked by prior supervisors and she would expedite the card. I told her not to waive the fee this time. This whole process has been so disappointing and frustrating. I haven't been able to pay for groceries and have had to borrow money until the card comes.

    Ok so I bought a Walmart card to get my paycheck each for my current job and when I called to activate it the woman said my info could not be verified and hung up on me. So my district manager was at my store luckily so he worked and worked and he finally got the routing and account numbers so he put that in our pay system but he said he does not know if it will deposit or not.     So last week I lost my card. As a human I accept the fact I should've been more careful, but that's why I liked this card because it gives customers some peace of mind if a situation like that were ever to occur. So everyone was helpful last week when I called it in to report it lost, at least I thought they were helpful. I was told my new card was going to be sent, and to expect my funds from the transaction I didn't recognize to be reimbursed. Today I got my new card but now they're telling me a different story and that a dispute should have been opened. Now it's going to be another 10 days before I see my money if I see it because now I'm starting to doubt it. I've been loyal and I feel it was for nothing.

    I got my Walmart MoneyCard. Been using it fine. My tax return came the other day and it put a block on my card so I follow the steps to get the blocked removed so I sent in the picture of my ID. Not even a few minutes later it came back saying that my account was closed that it cannot be reopened. I tried calling customer service entered all my information just to be told they cannot reopen it and I don't understand why I cannot get in contact with a human and I just want answers and my money.

    I lost my card and called Walmart MoneyCard to replace. Since I had moved a day earlier, I notified them of my new address. All was fine as I was told I would have my replacement card on 3/6, however I received a message that I need to log in and upload my drivers license to prove my identity. I gave the rep all that info earlier so I was confused. I went to walmartmoneycard.com/document upload, however I am unable to log on as it requires my card number which I DO NOT HAVE AS MY CARD IS LOST! When I call the CS line, I am unable to reach a live person. I am just given a recording that says my card is blocked and that I need to upload documents. I can not reach a live person at all. There is no number to ask for live assistance. My money is being held hostage and this seems by design so that the cardholder would become frustrated and give up thus giving Walmart our money! I am beyond frustrated and do not know where to get help!

    I put my refund on my MoneyCard and it was lost. I never open an online account so now I need another card and they are asking me for the last four digits. If I don’t have the card how can I give this information. There is no one to talk to to issue me another card and Walmart can’t help. Now I have over 4000 on a card that I can’t access.     I have had this card for months and loved how convenient it was. So I decided to have my tax refund sent to the card. It was supposed to be deposited today so I called the card. Come to find out it was sent last night but you guys sent it back to the IRS. You claimed the information didn’t match but it’s the same name and social security number.     I have had this card for over a year now with no problems until now. They locked my account for suspicious activity on Saturday 2/24 without contacting me so I found out when my insurance payment was denied and then denied at a store on Sunday 2/25. I call to see what's going on and that's when I find out my account has been locked and no one contacted me. They tell me I need to send an email to verifymydoc@greendot.com and told it would be one business day. I send the info and call the next morning to see if they have received my email, no they didn't and asked me to resend it so I did. I call a couple hours later to check again and after 45 minutes they tell me, "Yes. That it's going to take 24-48 hours".

    I call Tuesday to check the progress and they tell me they just received my email that morning at 6:15... What??? So from there it's going to take 24-48 hours! So I've been calling the last 2 days staying updated and flipping out and told that they are 3 hours behind me so it's not 48 hours until 9:15 my time, to be told now that I have to send it to a different email and is going to take ANOTHER 24-48 hours. This is my family's main money source, we don't get help from the State! We have 2 children, a woman going through chemo treatments that needs her meds, and we need to buy food and pay our bills. I need our money and the people I've been talking to have not helped at all. My husband is supposed to get paid today and I'm not even sure if it will go into our account because of it being locked.

    My account was placed on hold unexpectedly. I Complied and sent all documentation providing who I am. It’s been a whole week and still they won’t lift the hold, hidden fees were taken out while I’m still on hold from my account. Customer representatives are not so honest and the supervisors as well. I spent nearly 10$ in faxing and emailed everything. Today marks the 7th day and still the hold is on my account. I sent my whole life to these people and they just keep telling me to call back the next day. :(

Well he lost his card that had direct deposit so he asked for another one and they said it would be received in the mail 3-7 business days and the card never came in after 10 business days so on the day of his check we were not able to get money out. We were so devastated because we are here in Seattle with no money. Our child was on life support. We're just getting over that and now this. So we call and beg them to help us. We have $1400 we can't use so finally after 3 calls and having to purchase another card because they agreed to send us $300 in his new card if it had all his same information.

    So finally after 7 hours we got the $300 but because there was no option to speak to an operator he pushed a button on the phone that said he wanted a new card and they weren't willing to stop it so now we have to wait for another card. You guys we have no one to help us and our rent is in 3 days. We have $1100 on his account that we can't use and a car payment that we did not pay on time because of this. I'm so devastated I've cried several times over this. They need to have an option to speak to an operator and I want to see how we could get refunded our renters late fee. They are responsible for this. I have a 7 week old baby who needs gas drops, saline for her mucus and I have to wait until his check and luckily we can get his check because he asked his employer to stop the direct deposit or else we wouldn't have money tomorrow either. Someone needs to do something about this. I'm just so upset.

Called customer service and stayed on hold for over thirty minutes and was finally answered by a woman who said she was in Nicaragua, as I could barely understand her she was no help. She told me to upload my id to verifymydocument@greendot.com and I did and received a notice that this was not a valid address. I am on hold again and my bills are due and water will be shut off... This service is horrible and I will file charges for theft with the district attorney tomorrow if my funds are not reimbursed asap.

    So last week I called to report my card lost. Heard nothing from Walmart. Then I get an email saying that my card has been blocked and I need to show ID. Since the card is lost I can’t use it anyways so I try to call but can’t get through to a actual person because the last 4 of my card number are invalid.     I reported my Black Preferred Card lost that I’ve had for over 5 years. Part of my paycheck is direct deposit on this card. I Received a replacement card, when I tried to activate it I was told it couldn’t be activated. I had to send in my Driver’s license and was told it failed verification. My name match on my card and license, wasn’t given a reason as to why my card not verified nor a reason why my account was closed.     Me and my wife filed a joint return and our state was rejected. I called today to try and find out why before the federal is submitted. It is going to take 90 days for the state to be sent because of it being rejected. The account is my name and return is joint with me and my wife.     My card formed a crack along the scan bar, on the back of the card. I called in live, and ordered a new card. I received it in about a week. I activated it, attempted to use it, and was declined. I called in again, and was told it was a temp card. I was sent another replacement, with the same results. I still cannot access my funds, and I have another direct deposit coming this week. I have been unable to get any money off of the card, and have has to borrow money to get food and gas, just to get to work. I have called in several times and have been told that the card is active, and that I should just tell the cashier to scan the card. The ATM doesn't work, and it is declined at the self-checkout and the love cashier.

    I was also told to go to greendot.com, and verify the card number. I have done so, and was directed back to walmart.com. As soon as I get my money off of the card, I am canceling the card entirely, and opening a traditional bank account. This is a major inconvenience for me, but at least I will be able to use my money. I need help in getting the funds off of the card in the first place. An email would be nice, but a live person that can actually do something would be even better.

    On February 22, '18 I had funds deposited on my card. I paid a few bills then my card was blocked. I was asked to send in my ID for identification purposes in which I did. A few hours later after checking my account online my account was closed. For what I don't know, because I sent the correct information. So from this point on how will I receive my funds?     We have had this card for about year. They locked it claiming unusual transaction which is not the case. I sent them my ID on Saturday as asked for and they told me would get a call today and nothing. I called about what the hold us was and told still being reviewed will be tomorrow now.     I cancelled my card because People Commerce kept trying to go onto my account. Ordered a new card on February 20, 2018 @ 1:40pm was supposed to be expedited to me in 3 business days, (due to my Refund from IRS being dropped into my account on February 22, 2018.     I am thoroughly disgusted with Wal-Mart Money card! I bought the card to use for online purchases and I used it for opening my personal business. Luckily I did not link the card to my paycheck or bank account but instead loaded it manually. I made a few online purchases in order to get my business started and I received an email from Wal-Mart Money Card stating there was suspicious activity on my card. My card was blocked.     I ordered my card last Friday and asked for expedited shipping 3 business days. It has now been a full week and no card has shown up.     Was scammed on Wal-Mart Card Live for $4,986. Help me! I filed my taxes and was given a Wal-Mart Money Card. I tried to activate the card and it is invalid. I called the number on back of card and I couldn't speak to a live person. I went on their website and found Walmart Money Card Live. I finally found a real person.     Last year I used a NetSpend Money Card to receive my tax returns. My only problem was receiving notices of purchases balance... So this year I purchased and activate a Wal-Mart Money Card February 2018 explicitly to receive my tax refund. I received a notice that my returns were released from the IRS and should be posted by my bank in at least two days.

    THIS morning I checked my Wal-Mart Money Card and they received my taxes and returned them to the IRS because the information did not add up??? And I was advised to follow up with the IRS and after two days the IRS would be able to redirect my refund to me... REALLY??? After many calls to SPECIALIST agents for the Wal-Mart Money Card. Either they didn't understand my complaint. Then transferred to an automated system or they downright accused their automated system to be wrong because their system showed it just hadn't been posted. Transferred... And finally to speak to someone who tells me... Yes my information added up but I did not consider my husband's information. Ok fine. But why couldn't have had a consideration of an alert or something before someone decided to return my refund.

    After speaking to the IRS the process of return doesn't SHOW up in their system for FIVE DAYS. Then a "Refund Trace" has to be initiated which is slower than snail mail. How inconvenient... THIS could have been a simple fix. I'm even having a hard time trying to add my husband as a 2nd card holder which by the way does not give you this option when you activate your card. I need answers... Please.

    I got this card, was very pleased with it getting my paycheck. I decided to put my refund on it. Was told by a rep, it would be fine as long as SSN matched up. Well was waiting and waiting for it to deposit. Finally called to find out they sent my refund back to the IRS. Well called them. Found my SSN was on my refund with my husband's but my last name was different cause the one on my card was my maiden name 'cause you wouldn't let me put my married name for some reason. But you know the SSN matched up as well as addresses and everything. We are not happy.

    Your customer service representative wouldn't even apologize, was rude he tried blaming the IRS for getting information wrong when everything was right. Everything matched up besides that little last name which we didn't see was a big deal. Even the IRS person thought that was interesting that you just sent it back. You couldn't call or email saying we need to verify this, like other Banks would. We will no longer use your service. And we are telling our friends not to.

    I've had a MoneyCard for a while now, probably close to a year. I got it because I didn't have a bank account and my employer required direct deposit. I had no problems for the majority of the time I've had the card. Then, all of a sudden, I end up with a fraudulent charge on my card. I immediately filed the dispute paperwork when I found the transaction. After about 10 days, I had received a refund to my card. Since I have started a bank account, I switched my direct deposit option to that account, however it didn't happen fast enough.

    I have a paycheck sitting on a card that I have no access to because they canceled the card to send me a replacement. I literally have no other money right now, and am waiting on a replacement card. I called to speak to an "account service specialist" and when I asked how I got access to my money, he told me a replacement card was coming in the mail. I asked if I was screwed until it got here, and he told me "Yes. Have a nice day". Unbelievable. Needless to say, when the card comes, I'm taking everything off and not using it again.

    My ex husband dutifully sends me money weekly from his Walmart MoneyCard to my cell phone, whereupon I receive a text notification supplying me with the correct link to receive the money by loading my own Walmart MoneyCard. I did not receive the notification this week, however via email I received a screenshot of the transaction showing it being sent. I confirmed the phone number was correct as well. His phone call to Walmart the representative stated that the money was sent and I received it.

    I then called looking for my notification with the link, and I was told the money was not sent. But, in order to confirm that he needed to call. Long story short. Walmart Moneycard STOLE my money. If I did that I'd go to jail. If I went into a Walmart store and took $100 worth of merchandise, they'd have me arrested. I am APPALLED that this type of theft is allowed to take place. Jake Employee ID# ** and Peter Employee ID # **, offices located in the Philippines seem immune to the fact that theft is illegal.

    Filed my taxes in another state, they provided me with a Walmart "GREEN DOT" card, I have attempted to register the card several times including when I got the temporary one, but it continued to say the information entered does not match their records. I attempt to call Customer Service and when it prompts to enter the last 4 of the card, it states twice that the numbers do not match their records and prompts me to enter the full card number then the last 4 of my social before providing me with any information.

    Taxes were deposited on there, I attempted to go by my bank to remove the funds and add them to my bank account and now it is declining the card stating that the amount requested was over the amount allowed. When attempting to reach a Customer Service expert (Nearly IMPOSSIBLE) the hold times are mad long. I do not have enough time on breaks at work and even on lunch to sit on hold for an hour plus. Not happy that I cannot just create an online account to view the information I need on the CORRECT limits for withdraws when going into a bank.

    To start off with I called in and made a dispute against 3 transactions which were unauthorized. Going through PayPal. I do not use PayPal. Never have and never will. I got to thinking and I have made so many disputes only to be told they were declined. I called back and told them I wasn’t waiting 10+ business days for a decision I already know they’ll make. They repeated themselves. We’re very disrespectful. I will be sure there is a lawsuit action against Green Dot for the disrespect I received and for the fraud going through this company. I was lied by First Lady spoke with saying she’d transfer me to Fraud Department Supervisor. Only to find out she holds the same title as previous lady and was placed on hold while still talking. Transferred to another lady who claimed she was in the Philippines. Very unacceptable.

    I have customer service experience from call center and the way your business operates is very unacceptable. I felt disrespected. Unhappy with how you treat customers of 1+ years. I will be canceling this garbage. Filing a consumer complaint to be sure Walmart MoneyCard is put out of business. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of people with me on this. Your representatives need more training AND need to be in the US so they're understandable. I will keep calling until resolved. I’m sick of customer service being rude to me for them not doing their jobs. I’ve placed previous disputes only to be told I can’t get my money back. In total I’ve lost at least a good $2,000. I kept with them because I unable to get my own bank account. Legal action needs to be taken. I have been nothing but nice to these so called representatives to this corrupt company.

    I lost my Visa, and MasterCard. I tried calling several times and it kept saying they was having difficulty. I finally got in touch with them and I explained my check. Whole check was on the cards and could I please go and get another card and transfer the money because me and my family had no other means to eat or get gas. They said no I would have to wait the 7 to 10 days for a new card. That's not what I was told different when I got the card so now me and my family is hungry and lights and water is getting disconnected all because they refuse to let get another card and transfer the money.

    Updated on 02/27/2018: Well they still haven't attempted to give me my 850.00 back but I am still trying. I need my money so bad and all my electric and water will be off tomorrow. All because they want to steal my money. I think we all need to get together and get a lawsuit going at least. Well I am losing everything I have worked so hard for. I might get something back.     I have had a card for years then when I didn't receive a product that was charged I contacted them. Instead of a inquiry or dispute on my behalf. The operator who I couldn't understand canceled my card without my consent and then she told me to the end of the call a new one would be sent out. Unhappy I looked forward to receiving the card because I have a normal bill I have deducted from it a month. However, when I went to use it the card said I couldn't use it until I provided a picture image to make sure it is me.

    The first time I submitted it they said it was too dark. Then I did it 4 times in which it told me that it was uploaded successful. However, when I went to register it told me it didn't accept due to the fact it wasn't light enough. I submitted it 4 times in which it said upload successful but it is like it didn't reset. I still have a balance on this card in which I would like to use but I am frozen out of my account. I am extremely disappointed and upset. All I want is to use my card! The number on the card has it set that you can't talk to anyone if your card isn't registered and since my card won't reset to my uploaded picture I am locked out and funds frozen.

    I went to Walmart to get a Walmart Money Card MasterCard 2. Purchase a plane ticket and I gave the cashier $250 to put on my card that I chose and she gave me a receipt. Gave me my card I just purchased, and I went on my way. When I attempted to purchase my airline tickets online the card was denied. So then I called the airline and spoke with a representative and got all the way through the process and gave her my card number which was declined again. So I thought maybe since it was a Walmart money card the airline wasn't taking it so I went to the bank at Walmart, Academy Bank and I opened an account with what cash I had and they printed me off a debit card with my name on it.

    However when they went to get the $250 off of the card it was blocked so I called the number on the back of the card and the automated robot person said my card was blocked. I needed to prove my identity and upload my driver's license or ID front and back at walmartmoneycard.com document upload and that a real person was not available to give me any reason as to why this was happening. So I went to upload my ID front and back. So the upload was complete and I still have not been able to get my money off of that damn card. I called the 1 800 number again on the back of the card today and it said I needed to agree that I understood before I could continue and get my funds off of the card but I could not agree because I don't understand and I have not been able to talk with an actual human about this and I want the funds.

    I need the funds. I need to get a plane ticket and Walmart is holding me up and I am very upset. Well actually I'm beyond upset. I'm livid and I want my money stat. This is unacceptable and bad business. I don't like Walmart. I do not like shopping at Walmart and now here is an additional cause as to why this chain of stores filled with things we don't need. That is non-union. Not as non-union is anti-union. I'm sorry anti-union does bad business and should be exterminated off the planet because it's all in vain. I will not allow this to be acceptable. I'm Furious.

    4 days ago I reported my card lost. The next day I received an email my account is blocked and to submit ID verification. I cannot do this as it says my card is invalid. I have tried every way possible to reach a live representative for over an hour this morning and it keeps hanging up. I'm starting to get irritated as I'm a single mom of 3, and my direct deposit goes onto this card and in the meantime I'm without any access to my card or money, and unable to reach anyone to see what's happening with my account. Wal-Mart is no help as they are not able to do anything in store. Maybe my next step would be to contact Green Dot directly?

    I've been using Walmart Money Card for 4 years. I have never had a problem until now. My account was hacked 2/08 and drained. I found out 2/9 trying to make a purchase. I called they closed that account and sent out a new card of course with a new card fee. I send my dispute information in. I received my new card 2/13. Went to activate it to be told it is blocked & I have to send in a copy of my I.D. OK! Fine. Multiple tries later, only to find out that it takes up to several days to get verified. I haven't heard anything back about my money/dispute. TO TOP IT OFF!!! I CAN'T GET IN TOUCH WITH A HUMAN BEING!!! They are playing with my livelihood. I have direct deposit so, basically I am screwed.

    My card has been compromised 2 times and both times I have had my card in my wallet. I have filed disputes and police reports and submitted the form as they requested to only be told it will take up to 21 days... Thank god I finally went and opened a checking account after 7 years of having the Walmart card. At least the banks don't make the customer (victim) jump through hoops to get their money, How can I provide proof if I wasn't there? The fact that people are able to make duplicate cards or hack their system and yet they try to act as though the customer is lying to them. I'm looking to find a class action lawsuit. If I find one I will do everything I can to advertise it. Because if I had not opened a checking account me and my kids would be homeless.

    I loved my card when I first got it! After a couple of months, my direct deposit stopped coming 2-3 days in advance, I thought no big deal. A day early was ok. Now I don't get it until my regular payroll day? No I have not change jobs! I get paid twice per month; on the 15th & on the last day of the month, which obviously changes (Feb is 28 days, or 29 days every 4 years on leap year). Initially, I was receiving my paycheck at least three business days in advance. Then, it went down to two days, to one day, & now I'm just getting paid when I'm supposed to get paid! I've been a customer of theirs now for over five years and I think I'm about done now. There is something really fishy going on here and it's totally uncool to be taking advantage of your customers especially long-term customer who's been in this game since the beginning and build you up to be what you are today. I'm actually just completely disgusted with this whole situation.

    At this point, I'm not even sure when my deposit will be deposited and guess what? My deposits are $2500, twice per month, or $5000 monthly! I'm basically giving Walmart all this money to play with to their rich ass leisure and this is how I'm being treated in return. It's really unbelievable that I have taken this crap for as long as I have. I really have nothing good to say, about this “service”, at all anymore. It's apparently become a joke to Walmart too as they've just continually decided to “shaft me” deeper & deeper over time. It's appalling & immensely disrespectful.

    My mom need money. We went down to Walmart. Loaded the card with $520 and did a transfer to her card. Have done many times before never had a problem. She never got the email for the transfer. We canceled it and the money was refunded and tried a text transfer and it failed. We canceled that one and the money was not refunded. We called support on the phone and was told it will be corrected by end of date 2-13-2018. Midday of the 13th we got a email from support saying our card was tested and works. We log in to the account and still do not have the $500. We call them back and they say there is nothing they can do as the card is fine.

    My husband and I went to Walmart to put money in the Card so we can sent it to my parents in Philippines online! But I didn't know that this card can be use only inside the US, so we went back to the Walmart to withdraw the money so we can sent it using MoneyGram. But when we withdraw it on the Machine there only half of the money only the machine have given to us and it turns Offline. But in the receipt it show that we withdraw the all amount. So we went to customer service but they said they cannot help us and just give advice to call the number at the back of the card.

    So when we drive home my husband call the number and the customer service said that we have to wait couple weeks to check the result of what happen. She said it will automatically come deposit in the account if they can fix it! We are so upset and in the next day I check my Walmart app and the transaction is posted so that mean it successful withdraw the money but we never received it! How what you guys gonna do! There is no help from customer services and you guys can't even help the problems! We are not gonna use this card again! If we put all our money here if it's gonna be disappeared you guys can't do anything! This is very very bad experience!

    If there was a way to give this Walmart MoneyCard a lower score I would... I've tried for the past 6 months to try and get a refund for my 500.00 from this card I cannot use.     I originally had great things to say about this card and bank. It was convenient and easy to switch over and never had any issues; until today. I was buying a little bit of groceries with my kids at the store checkout - The Clerk rings me up and I get-- unauthorized user cannot complete transaction. I know I have money in there and I used it this morning; so I Tell them please give me just a minute and go to the ATM- unauthorized user again. I hardly have any cash these days on me so I was unable to buy our food. It was embarrassing.

    Last week I flagged a transaction I didn't give permission to a company to make. I just received an email in regards to my account and it needing more information on the dispute to continue and I just haven't replied yet. So: I call the number to speak with someone regarding my card and I'm told "Well ma'am we closed that one and issued you another one."

    I was never contacted in regards to this and if I was this situation would be so much easier to wait for my card they mailed out today; since I could have pulled out cash before they closed/cancelled my card. Why wasn't I told? They assured me they were sorry for the inconvenience and next time this wouldn't happen to anyone else. Not only did my kids have to experience that with me - we have to go without until I get this new card. It's more than an inconvenience. It's my account. I need to know Big decisions like that before it's done.

    The fact that the Wal-Mart money card takes up to 30 days to release holds or refund merchant transactions is unacceptable. I have a pending hold from Feb 4th that was released by the merchant on Feb 9th and according to you all, it still won't be until Feb 20th that I see the credit! Nothing in THIS digital day and age takes that long! If people can receive tax refunds two days sooner to the Green Dot card, than would their bank, why does it take so long to refund something you can clearly see was released? You aren't a bank, however your hold policies are worse than them.

    A bank doesn't even take that long to release funds or credit an account. Then on top of that I pay 5.00 to use the card for the month (which took less than 5 sec to take) and 4 bucks to load the money. So basically I paid almost 10 bucks to just hold 100.00! I was inconvenienced dramatically by this as I really need that money and I'm considering not ever even shopping in Walmart stores again.

    A friend owed me $50 and I told him I'd take a Wal-mart gift card. Instead he purchased one of these horrid devices.     My balance states I have 1000$ in my account. I received a 580$ fund reversal from a dispute, and then my account was locked, and card CLOSED. This issue with the transaction I disputed has been going on since Jan 26th... As I waited for this transaction to be refunded and to be disputed, I received another paycheck; the weekend after I received that paycheck, my dispute was won and I was returned the 580$.     I have been using my Walmart MoneyCard for years. Never had a problem. Never had my account locked until now. They tell me that it was locked for suspicious activity. They can't tell me what it was. They tell me I cant get it unlocked until I send a copy of my ID which I don't have because my card and my wallet was stolen out of my car and also my birth certificate because I was moving.     I have had the money card for about a year now. I reported it lost January 23rd, it stated I'd have a replacement card within 7/10 business days. It's 2/8 and I still do not have a card. I've called and called and get hung up on by the automated voice machine because my card isn't recognized because they canceled it. My direct deposit went on that card.     I use this card for everything: direct deposit from my employer, food, rent, bills, you name it. This morning when I went to pay my rent, the card declined. When I called the number, it said my account was canceled. That's it! No explanation, absolutely NOTHING. I can't reach a live person to talk to as the phone system hangs up on me when I enter the card number. Walmart employee said they have no information either. There is nearly $3k on there that I absolutely must have to buy food, pay bills, etc. I'm totally freaking out right now and there is no way to reach customer service!!!

    I received this card from my tax lady. First off they I went thru so much just trying to activate the card, then they would let me take no cash off my card. Between going in Walmart multiple times & calling them, I lost my card. I called to get a replacement, they then put a block on my card & refused my License multiple times for verification. I'm truly upset. My bills are overdue to this setback from me expecting to use my own money! Then the customer reps can't speak properly & they won't let you speak to no one higher than them, they all claim to be "supervisors". I'm so infuriated, I truly hope this shuts down.     My paycheck was direct deposited to my Walmart MoneyCard on 2/1/2018. I went to check my balance and withdraw funds to pay my bills and OMG! My check was $750.00. My balance $30.00. 15 purchases were charged from a Pharmaceutical company in Mexico. Border crossing fees! Bill pay fees. Service fees. Up to $500.00 within 12 hours while I was at work. Walmart and Mastercard are working on it but it will be 10 days or more for me to be reimbursed. That is IF I get reimbursed! I made a police report and they can't do anything about it and the officer said do not even count on getting your money back!!! I worked so hard in my life. Homeless last year. Worked my way into a place and a vehicle and now it's all gone. Just do not buy a Walmart MoneyCard or Green Dot anything!!! I refuse to stop here and legal action will begin tomorrow morning. Please save yourself from what I've gone through.

    Well this all started when our puppy chewed up my wife's card. No problem there so we call to get a replacement card. First agent said she was going to waive the replacement fee. So new card comes in mail. Look at her account online. Well now 2.47 overdrawn. Then says she needs to verify with her ID so she took pictures of ID and sent them through the sites verification system. Now we have been told that her state issued drivers license is not meeting their verification standards and the account is closed and she cannot open another with Green Dot.

    Called customer service. Very rude foreigner is answering. Barely can understand. Told us there was nothing we could do about it. And that the decision was final and there was nothing we can do. Now here's the problem I see. She was 10 months into her cashback reward for $45 roughly. Now she loses that because of this and her check was direct deposit and now that's all messed up now. Personally I will never ever do business with Green Dot ever in my life again. The rudeness and the fact that they cannot get people who can speak proper English to answer their phones shows me they do not care about our country or our people.

    I’ve reported my card lost and a new one has been issued but it’s not here yet. My money is direct deposited so the only way I can get money is with my card. I called support and you can’t speak to a human. I need to know how I can have access to my money ASAP.

    I have used Green Dot/money transfer for awhile to send and receive money through Walmart customer service. They offered me a Walmart Green Dot “debit/Green Dot card” that was easier to Send money, Receive money, And pay bills with. They also told me there was an app on the phone you could use to always access your money if anything should ever happen. So I created an account with them, Got my card and set up all my bills and direct deposit and started using this card as I would any bank card. My wallet had been stolen with my card in it so I automatically called and went on the app to freeze my account and put my money (a full paychecks worth) into my vault and asked for a card to be sent out to me so I can reactive my account and continue on using it.

    They told me initially it would take up to 7 business days to come in the mail but if I needed I could access the money or send my money through another bank or PayPal account. So while I waited I tried sending my money to 2 different PayPal accounts, Another bank account, Tried going into Walmart to request to get my money out which all did not work and they refused to give me my money without the card. 7 business days passed and still no card, I asked my apartment complex mailman and he said he wasn’t sure if he had received anything as he puts a lot of mail in the complex. I called Walmart and couldn’t even speak to anyone for about 3 days FINALLY got ahold of someone and they told me the card was THERE and they would have to resend it out.

    They told me it would be faster than 7 business days as I expressed the worry of not being able to access my money and with having a family, Bills, and obligations it has been extremely difficult to manage without this card/my money. It is going on the 7th business day and I still have NO card in my mail. I’ve had to borrow money for my bills from family, I’ve had zero help from anyone at Walmart or Green Dot regarding where my card is or how I can access this money. I’ve had to switch my direct deposits from my work which has caused a huge disturbance and being charged MORE money. I’ve yet to again be able to reach anyone at Walmart or Green Dot regarding this information or where my card is, I really just want to be able to receive my money that is in my account so I can pay my family back and get my bills back on track.

    I’ve been more than patient and cooperative with the people I HAVE been able to speak to and it’s very upsetting that I still don’t have my card or access to my money going on 3 weeks later. At this point I wouldn’t recommend anyone doing this due to the horrible customer service and the fact that it has taken over 3 weeks and I still have yet to have my card or my money that is stuck inside of the account. Hopefully I can receive some help from this review and prevent people from encountering these issues.

    My card was damaged, called in to report. Received card (but) I did not activate card right away. Tried to activate card this money, put in away information system. Ask for a way putting in pin number. Am told I cannot be helped. 5 or 6 more time entering all information, nothing. Same thing again. I don't have the old card so I cannot enter the old card information. I want to talk with Rep. I assume they have shut down customer service. And how can you put in information you don't have, if you have correct SS number, Zip code, Bday, your old pin number. You have all this information and you cannot speak with a live agent.

    I had this card before and had no issues with it. Recently I lost my wallet, called to have the card replaced, paid the 15 dollar for express and it hasn't come in yet. On top of that I have been on HOLD for over an hour now and I'm locked out of my account. I am so frustrated because now they're saying I have to order a new card and another rep is saying I can't until I verify my ID which I can't because I lost everything so now my money is just in LIMBO and I'm behind on bills. I swear I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.

    I never had a problem with the card, I got it because of the 2 day early deposit. I usually get deposit at 2:30 - 3 pm mountain time on Wednesday and this is the 3rd time that it doesn’t get deposited! Now I see I’m not the only one with this issue and I know it’s not my employer!!! Fix it!!!

    I have had the Walmart Money Card for a few years, I would always receive my pay at least one day early. For the past 6 months, I have not received my pay till my actual payday. I spoke with customer service and they told me it was due to technical difficulty? I could not believe that was the answer I received. I have quite a few complaints, but I will stop here. I'm in the process of looking for a different card.

    I received my Walmart MoneyCard after filing my taxes so I can get it direct deposit. I didn't register the card right away. I waited 24hrs after filing to do it... Now I'm trying to register the card and it keep saying invalid card so I called customer service to see if I can do it over the phone or speak to a representative. It continues to say invalid. They even ask for my SS and I enter it and it still says invalid. I no longer know what else to do or who to speak to. I have been calling and trying but it's the same thing over and over and nothing seem to be working. I'm very disappointed.

    I've had Walmart MoneyCard for about 3 years now. Never had a problem. Got my income taxes paycheck on it. No problem. Last week all of my money has been taken out of my account through numerous merchants. In several different states at that the people do not care where your money is. They do not care that because they didn't want to be fast about this I now have to find a new place to live because I could not pay my rent. Why. 'Cause my money gets sent to that card. I've two different deposits saying it's been sent you the card. Now no deposits have been made. I'm really really really getting pissed off that people do not care that our money is being wasted and misuse fraudulently and you try to file and nothing happens. It's been over 2 weeks. Ridiculous. Definitely cancelling this card as soon as this is all straightened out.

    Updated on 02/10/2018: This is my second review on Walmart prepaid cards. I now have been evicted from my place because I was not able to pay my rent. Got a 3-day pay or quit because somebody hacked my account yet again to make it a negative balance. My paycheck gets taken because of negative balance and they tell me to cancel the card. I then cancel it and am told I will get a new one in three days. It's now been four days. I have no money, no new card and then I call and they say that it will be five to seven days before a new card comes and still no reimbursement for the 390.00. My paycheck is there and I have no way to get it. I'm Done.

    I noticed that my Walmart MoneyCard balance was $300 and some odd dollars lower than it should be. When I looked at the transactions they were from Henderson NV. Someone bought gift cards from Staples, and Babies"R"Us and bought food from Chick-fil-A also is the same area. I'm from PA. When I called the Staples store the manager said someone had my account number and they made a card because my card was actually swiped. They bought a $200 gift card. Same with Babies"R"Us but $100.00. I now have to wait 10 days until they do their investigation and decide if I get my money back. Unreal. How can I use my card in PA and in NV at the same time. I better get my money back within 10 days. I am not happy and will not stop until I get my money back. All of it!!!

    I was refunded $788 onto my Walmart Moneycard from Today's Dentistry. This locked my account and now I am unable to get into my account to make purchases or pay bills to take care of myself or my two-year-old daughter. I submitted paperwork to Walmart as they asked and they said it would still be 2 to 10 days before my card will be unlocked. What's worse is I get my checks from my job on that card so I'm unable to access any of my money to pay any of my bills in the meantime. I don't understand why the account needs to be launched and why there's such a big procedure to go through to get it unlocked when I called and the call center has my paperwork that I sent in it shouldn't be able to be unlocked now today. I would not recommend this card to anyone. I've had problems in the past with this card with not being able to get my money from my vault into my normal account.

    Using Walmart MoneyCard for a while was a pretty good card to use as an alternative bank account. But what I do not like is when they have to disable EVERYTHING if you lose a card, even though you marked the card as damaged when requesting a new one because it was damaged when it was lost. They want you to wait for the new card and put the new card number in then do your verification process, because requesting a new card was considered "suspicious." Good thing I don't have direct deposit setup from work, but I am expecting one that by this time should've been sent, but now it will be rejected. Causing me to wait days again. Now I hope they sent it to the new address I put in before requesting a new one. Let's hope the guys in the Philippines didn't mess that up.

    Two months ago I reported charges that I did not recognize. I was told they would be sending me a new card. 30 days went by and I did not receive the card. I called again and was told that it would sent out. Still never received it. I called the automated service and reported that I had not received the card yet. This Wednesday 1-24-2018. I called the next day when I found out the account was blocked and spoke with someone in the fraud department to get it unblocked as my direct deposit went in to that account on Thursday 1-25-2018.

    I was told to send my state I.D. to IDV@greendotcorp.com which I did twice and was told it would take up to 48 hours to be unblocked. Well today is Monday 1-29-2018 and it is still blocked. I called this morning and was told that she would send an email for escalation and it would be another 24 hours. I asked to speak with a supervisor and apparently everyone in the call center is a supervisor. It has been 4 days now with no results. I have bills to pay and need access to my money. I need to get answers ASAP. I have bills to pay.

    My mom got this card as a present (unfortunately it is not an easy use gift card). Took me forever to register (not even sure if I registered it in the end). Couldn't access it online. The worst part of everything is their tech support. After spending 20-30 minutes to register and access it online, I called the number on the card (888-260-8273) for tech support. This number a just for advertising products like DirecTV and AT&T. After listening ads for several minutes, they said to call a new number for my area 800-712-6600. Called that number and when they started with new T-Mobile advertisements, I disconnected this scam. Finally, I called 877-937-4098 and they told my the balance ($200), but I still couldn't talk to anybody. I wouldn't recommend this card to anyone, especially if you are looking to buy a gift card. I just want my mom to spend this money and finish with this scam.

    I have had the Walmart MoneyCard for about 6 years. Never had too many problems. Two years ago I've started working on my credit. All my credit cards. Car payments, all my bills come off this card or bank account number. Well on December 12th I paid my credit card payment on time and it was declined which I had more than enough money in there to pay it. After talking to three different reps I finally got one I could finally barely understand then she said, "Sorry we had a glitch in the system." Then had to wait three days till they fixed it and paid the credit card again. Then I explained to my credit card company it wasn't my fault and they said all they needed was a fax from Green Dot.

    I then called customer service and tried to explain what I needed. They said they had to dispute it. I thought I was disputing walmart money card because I have a hard time understanding these reps. Two days later getting gas my card was decline. I'm thinking another glitch. So I'll just pay for the gas with my credit card, nope declined. The reason why is because the customer rep couldn't understand me either and disputed against my credit card company. And then shut my card down with all my money on it for almost a week. I've been on the phone with these people for days trying to talk to a supervisor and they take my number and say, "Keep your line open." Still no call. Is there no one you can talk to?

    I recently found that certain stores print the balance on the receipts given to the cardholder. I wonder if this is a violation of privacy as well very unsafe. I fear possibly being hurt/robbed by clerks at stores I frequently visit as they are able to view my balance and make assumptions from it. Any help with this matter or a review of your policy would be greatly appreciated. I understand this may not be an issue for most & possibly even a convenience. But, I view it as highly dangerous. Just my opinion and fear of being harmed. At the very least it could cause possible hacking and theft attempts.

    15 dollars taken off my card for Bill claim?? And when I ask about it I got a snooty email about account terms. It is not found in my terms. On top of that I did not receive my perm card. After filling official complaint form and sending emails two months later... no contact. On top of this they charged me 5 more dollars leaving my account in the neg.     I have been going back and forth with these people about an error message I'm receiving and a ticket was put in only to get a response saying nothing is wrong. Now I'm locked out. Called customer service and they hung up on me. I am unable to create a pin and they were told this on yesterday.     We got a Walmart MoneyCard last week so we could pay a bill... Tried to pay the bill and the transaction was declined. They asked for proof of identity, we replied... Then two days later we are told they can't verify. Then we are told to the card is disabled and can no longer be used. Sat on the phone for almost an hour yesterday after being transferred four times and sitting on hold for about thirty minutes we had to hang up. Called back today, spoke to 3 people, one agent, one supposed supervisor, then Nancy at the fraud department. Asked once again to send ID but to a different email. Told it could take two business days.

    After telling Nancy our situation she says she will try to expedite it. We shall see. The only reason we were able to speak with anyone is because we used an already established account to get through. Trying to use the card number for the new card gets us a quick message and hung up on. This system needs to be better. I hope Nancy can help because 200 is a lot of money for a family of five on a very small income and if we don't get it we will lose our car.

    For the past almost 3 year that I’ve been with WMC, I’ve gotten my direct deposit between 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Now for the past month or so it’s been around 3-6 a.m. Wednesday morning. I work for the post office so this isn’t something on their end and I’ve even called CS and they are absolutely NO help.     I lost my card 1 week ago. A new card was mailed however they would Not issue a temp card and I needed $$$ that I have in my account. Tonight at 1145 pm I upload my driver's license and successfully uploaded. I called in 2 minutes later and try to get them to approve this faster than 2 days. Today is Saturday and they said it takes 2 business days to verify. Well the manager within 1 min tells me my upload wasn't approved and I asked why 10 different ways and would not give me an answer then proceeds to tell me that someone from Corporate will call me on Monday. I try to call back in and speak to someone else. They have blocked all my access to even call in.

    I give my birthday, ss# and the phone system says it doesn't recognize the numbers. Obviously they have blocked all access and I want to use my own money.     I initially had a good experience with Walmart money card but when it comes time for a dispute for a transaction that I did not authorize I have just been given

    the runaround. Every single customer service representative have gave me different answers. Every single time I've called I have waited well over the time that it has taken for my dispute to be in love you. I have not been updated and every single representative has always been rude. Nobody seems to really speak any good English when you call. You have to go through an automated system for 10 or 15 minutes before you can actually speak to someone after talking to somebody about my dispute. I was told that my account would have to be close and I would have to wait two weeks to get my check by mail and when I asked why they don't act like a normal bank.

    The woman Christina said that this is an imaginary bank. I asked to do a survey so I could share my experience and she refused to let me do the survey. I will never ever suggest this card to anyone. Never. Yesterday the representative Mary was just rude talking to me like I was stupid. All I want is to be updated about my dispute and nobody seems to want to update me. They keep telling me to check my mailbox and check my email and I have been checking both and I have not gotten a single update. I have provided proof. I have the situation that has caused me to do a dispute and I did not get an update from that either. This seems just like a big fat fraud.

    I have had Walmart MoneyCard for over a year and hadn't really had any problems until this past month. I have had my account info stolen twice... First time I could find no info about where the purchase was made. Cancelled my card and got a new one. Second time 2 weeks later someone used my card at a Domino's in Florida. I live in Texas. I called them. They said the person verified their card and their ID. Makes no sense. Now having to cancel my card again and get a new one. I'm done with this card after this.

    This is the worst prepaid money card I have ever gotten. After my first worst experience with this piece of junk card I was stupid enough to use this again because the fact I need it to pay for something. I add it 25 dollars to this card, now down to 7 dollars. I was told they take out 5 dollars for a monthly fee and the other monthly fees I miss.     I assisted a friend living presently in transit from Nursing Home to a Assisted Living to purchase a Walmart Pre Paid Visa Debit with her name on it. When card was sent to old address it was returned. Since then it has been blocked and she is advised to send copy of gov’t Driver’s License or Passport to "possible unblock, after 4 day review". This Senior Lady has been in wheelchair since birth, her only form of Gov’t ID would be Medicaid card that she is unable and scared to send through the mail or have me (her caregiver and someone she gave verbal permission to Customer Service to allow for arrangements and contacts) so she was very disappointed when the card was blocked and she was told that they weren't even sure if her State Medicaid ID would suffice even if she did agree to send it.

    So they refuse to refund her balance (over $500) and keep repeating we need Driver’s License or Passport. Today I waited 45 minutes for customer service and after talking to a csr asking to remove the block so she can use it or refund her money they basically told me they were not able to do anything without receiving one of those 2 forms of ID. So she is feeling scammed and humiliated. When I asked what happens to the money they didn't answer. I am absolutely appalled - this is not a credit card but a debit card that is being charged a monthly fee without her control. I would advise anyone not to ever purchase a Walmart Money Card as if you ever have a customer service problem you will spend hours trying to get any help.

    Customer service is a nightmare because they can barely understand the English language or a complete sentence. You cannot link this account to PayPal or any other bank account because they don’t show micro deposits that come from the company you’re trying to link it to. They charge 95 cents per check and force you to wait over 7 days to receive your money or you can instantly get your money paying a 6 dollar fee. They use Certegy and deny check deposits from family members (who had their checkbook stolen a long time ago because it’s too risky for them...yet most banks just put the money on hold until it’s available. THEY FLAT OUT DENY YOUR ABILITY TO CASH IT). I also find it odd that online banking is still charging for check deposits when they sent out an email during the last week of December stating it will be free once it’s back (went down for maintenance on the 9th and was not available again until TODAY 10 days later).

    They flat out lied to their customer here... Isn't banking about trust? If I lied to you and you caught me would you trust me to manage your money? I think not. Please don’t waste your time here because you’re making the MAN richer daily while they take advantage of CHEAP OUTSOURCED LABOR in the Philippines and they could honestly care less about your wellbeing (most work for several dollars a day...for less than $15 and food). Also don’t be fooled by the reviews listed below. While they may be real customers the reviews are flat out lies. Paid reviews by customers who will likely never use the card again. Like I said guys STAY AWAY. Use a real bank or cash and kick this company to the curb... Trump will eventually cut the loopholes and when they do this company will be one of the first to go.

    At first I loved my card but now I am pissed. I went to pump gas at a pump and they didn't have the gas. I hung the pump back up and 75.00 was taken out my account. After calling customer service begging and pleading them to release the hold they wouldn't do it. They are telling me I have to wait until the 25th for a pending transaction to clear when I clearly didn't pump any gas. I'm getting rid of this card tomorrow.     VERY UNHAPPY. I have been dealing with the Walmart MoneyCard for about two weeks now. I filed a claim cause my card was stolen. Filled out the dispute form and spoke to a representative. The Rep stated it will take 7 Business to determine my claim. I said ok. I called on the 7th business day to see what is going on. A new rep then said it will take 10 business days. I told them that I was told 7, the recording when you call says 7. They stated that is a old recording. I asked if it is a old recording why would the rep I file the claim with say the same thing. I asked for a manager to call me back.

    I waited all day on the 8th day. No call back from a manager so I called myself. Got the same runaround. I was irritated and hung up. Called again on the 9th day asking why I still have not gotten a call and I would like to know the status of my claim. The rep couldnt give me an answer so I asked to speak to a rep in the states at corp office. I spoke to the rep, he told me that my claim has been granted and I should see the fund in 1 to 2 business days. I was pleased.

    I called on the 10th business day (1st business day to have fund return) cause I just wanted confirmation due to all the previous dialogue I have been through. The female rep said yes it should be resolved. She see the notes. I was like ok I will wait till tomorrow then. Now it is Friday the 11th business day and 2nd business day for refund. I called and was getting the run again so I asked to speak to someone at the corporate office. I was transferred to man that said I should see funds at the end of the day but the latest Monday so just keep checking. I was satisfied.

    I called Sunday night just to feel better about the situation come to find out now MY CLAIM IS DENIED!!! I was mad after being told 3 times they differ. The rep was being rude so I hung up and called in the morning. Got the runaround over and over and was told a manager will give me a call... Well what do you know. NO CALL yet again so I call myself again and I was told I needed more information such a receipt to dispute the claim... HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO GET YOU A RECEIPT ON A CLAIM WHERE SOMEONE WITHDRAWN MY MONEY!?! I ask to speak to US Rep. Spoke to a woman. Very nice explain to hear all that had happen

    She then told me to file the claim again, I did that very day. I called to check if the doc were received and the girl proceeded to tell me I would need to wait till the 30th. I told her about the recording and she said that is error 10 business is the procedure not 7. So now I am mad cause I originally filed this claim Dec 29th and it is still not back to me. Well I have attached two emails from Walmart MoneyCard stating again 7 DAYS!!! I just want my money back and then will prob leave the company!! Not happy with customer service teams at all. There is a lot more to this story but there isnt room and I have added a lot already.

    Just as several other people have expressed, my account with Walmart MoneyCard/Green Dot Bank was hacked and my account cleaned out. I noticed the pending unauthorized charges on 1/3/2018, I called the bank immediately. The customer service person basically stated there was nothing she could do after explaining to her that I did not make any purchases in the UK... Her suggestion was to see if the charges posted the next business day. Well they did and cleaned my account out. Called the bank again and was told to file a dispute on the unauthorized multiple charges, I did on 1/4/2018. I also contacted the merchants concerning the unauthorized use of my account. They informed me that their fraud departments had suspected and stopped the attempt to use my account info per their protocol. No money was even passed to the merchants from my account but yet on my end the charges are still posted as cleared and funds gone.

    15 days later my funds still have not been put back in my account by Walmart/Green Dot. Not only that but I have emailed the Transaction/dispute department numerous times with no response, I have called numerous times to only hear the same old blah blah. This is my money, I need it to pay bills, I have explained this to Walmart many times, they simply do not care. My suggestion is... Do not use their bank services.

    Last month card was blocked due to someone using my card. I had to send my drivers license through this water verifying system that took a while then I finally get my new card and within 2 days of getting paid they lock my card again! They say due to suspicious behavior, again I have to do this ID verification, I have submitted it 3 times and it says accepted then it says accepted or valid and then it says not valid.     I've used the Walmart MoneyCard for years and was happy up until I had a reason to call customer support. I had $1600 stolen from the MoneyCard by someone in a different state and a city that I had never visited. I understand that fraudulent activity must be verified but the "service" from an apparent overseas call center was beyond ridiculous. First have people who are fluent in the language they are supposed to be speaking. Their poor grammar plus the thick accent made them hard to understand and conveying anything back was a real task. On top of the language barrier the representative never offered any true help. They simply kept repeating the same unhelpful lines over and over. They made it painfully aware of how little they cared and that it wasn't their money.

    On top of the horrible call center there appeared to be no way to get an actual human on the phone until after a maze of automated voice options. When you have had most of your money stolen this system made everything worse. I know that my little bit of business means very little in the scheme of things and this "system" really accentuated that point.

    I opened my Wal-Mart acct in Oct. 2017. I use it to receive my direct deposit. I never received my personalized card. In Dec 2017 I asked to be sent a personalized card. They shut down my temporary card which I don't understand since it wasn't lost or stolen. My new card was mailed Dec 26. By Jan 5 I had not received the card. I called customer service and was assured it was at the local post office. I asked if they had a tracking number. Answer was no. Well how do you know it's at the post office without a tracking number. I was told to go get a new Wal-Mart card as my direct deposit had hit and I needed money for bills. They made a one time courtesy transfer for part of my money to the new card. I was told my card would be to me by Jan 8. Now I have 2 acct. Jan 10 I still had no card.

    I talked with a supervisor. Well they said they were a supervisor and was asked to send a new card to a different address as we have already sent 2 to the current address. I asked why they couldn't overnight me a card. I would pay for it or send one with tracking numbers. Answer: "No we can't do that." I was told I could pay bills using my routing number and acct number. So I proceeded to pay bills using this method. I had a merchant who needed to verify my acct, so they sent 2 small deposits less than a dollar to the acct. I called everyday for 3 days cause they never were posted and always received the same answer. It will get posted. Today Jan 14, I called cause I noticed bills I paid weren't coming out of my acct. That's when I was told my acct was blocked for address change. I never changed my address. Just changed where the card was being mailed to cause that's what the supervisor told me to do. I am pissed off at this point.

    I was given an email address to send a copy of my ID so they can verify my Identity. Was told it could take up to 48 hours. I told them they have 24 or I am getting my lawyer involved. This acct was blocked Jan 11. I have called them everyday and was never told about the block. Everyone just kept saying everything was fine with paying bills out the acct. No one knows what they are doing. I have been lied to over and over again. I now have bills that will bounce cause I followed their instruction and my acct was blocked. Are they going to pay my lights, water, and cable when it gets shut off? Are they going to feed my kids? It's against the law to deny access to my own money. I put my money and trust into these people.

    Had been with Walmart for many years and then on Dec 3, 2016, I had a fraudulent charge which having googled the day and location found it from Germany on World Hackers Day. Never understood how they got my card number nor how someone from Germany could use my card. Lesson I learned is if you ever have a need to cancel your card, remove all your funds first. If you ever use the card, load only the transaction amount. There needs to be more federal regulations on prepaid cards.

    I've had my Walmart MoneyCard for 3 years and never experienced a problem. Til January 7th when I received a text stating a purchase was made for 5.50 &145.83 in Charlotte North Carolina. Mind you I'm in Owensboro KY. As soon as that happened my husband rushes to nearest ATM and withdraws the rest of our money. We call the places of where the purchases were made and inform the manager my card was used & it's fraud. Of course he couldn't help but did confirm an in store purchase was made with a card number matching mines. Without much help from them my husband called the police in Charlotte. We made a report over the phone and was told we would be contacted.

    My husband contacts the customer service from Walmart MoneyCard and starts the dispute case and has our cards canceled. After that phone call I email the dispute form, our id's, both of our cards which are in our possession, police report & all the screenshots of the texts and information from our Walmart MoneyCard app. We're reassured as long we turn everything in promptly we would have our money back in 7 days.

    Well it's a week today and we have called every day only to get told lies after lies. Now we have to wait till the 22nd to get an email about their decision if we will or will not get our money back. One person even told us the merchant is responsible so get your Money from them. Or we will get our money back if Walmart MoneyCard gets their money first. Wtf. It's our money that was stolen! We're a family of 6 with our 4 month old having open heart surgery in November. My husband is our sole provider and works for us and we trusted Walmart/Green Dot to at least stand behind their product.

    We have stayed in contact with police in Charlotte and he don't understand why Walmart/Green Dot still investigating when it's clearly blatant fraud and should refund our money. They are doing their best in locating the person or persons doing the frauds. Can someone please contact us with a resolution. I'm tired of getting someone who only reads from a screen who can't help us. I'm seriously not going to recommend this card to anyone. Anyone can steal your money and nobody cares!!!

    I have been a customer for 8 years and Walmart has screwed up a lot over the last couple of years. On Dec 29th I went to use the atm but cancelled the transaction but Walmart put a hold on my card anyway and my dispute was supposed to be solved today but today they tell me wait another week before they can resolve this and credit my money. I had this card to get my check earlier but I will now be waiting until Friday and depositing my money in my bank account. I will never use their trashy cards again.     Over a week ago I reported that my Walmart MoneyCard was lost but found it the next day, big mistake! My account has not been used since and every time I go to upload said document it says it doesn't recognize my card number (15 times)! Called the customer service number and there is no real person on that automated system because it hangs up on you every time!     After years of having this account, they have closed my account. There is no number to speak to a person just an endless cycle of automated options that do not lead to customer service. Why did you close my account? This is the only way I have to pay my bills and I work online and receive direct deposits only. How am I going to pay my rent? They simply don't care. My suggestion - DO NOT GET A WALMART MONEYCARD. Go with a reputable company that doesn't shut your access off to YOUR money.

    I was scammed by an online purchase of some Ugg boots that I was purchasing for my daughter for Christmas. The company took a little over $90 out of my account on November 24, 2017... it is now January 11, 2018 and I NEVER received the boots. I found out that the company was not legit by trying to go back onto the website that I initially purchased the boots from but a message came up stating that the site was shut down due to fraudulent activity. I filed a dispute with Walmart Moneycard and they denied my dispute.

    How on God's green earth do you guys feel it is ok for these scammers to take and keep my money?!! If this was a REAL bank... my claim would not have been denied. Not only did this fraudulent company take my money... they took more than what the cost stated on their site AND my daughter did not get the boots she wanted so much for Christmas. I think it is CRAZY that Walmart denied my claim. That company should not be able to keep my money as I received nothing and their intent was never to send me anything. I even provided documentation validating that the company is fraudulent. VERY disappointed in your practices!!!
