It is unethical what all CC companies do to the consumer. You offer to lead and then when we take you up on that offer, you penalize us why talking 1/2 of our payment. I finally froze my account and make $100 a month payments and they take $50 of my $100 payment of that so it will be a few years until it's paid off. I have learned my lesson and will never again borrow money and make banks wealthy. It is a trap designed to keep you a slave. Borrower is always slave to the lender.

I have been a loyal customer and had never been late on my payments. 1 time last month I had an issue with my bank account which caused me to be less than 24 hours late on my payment. I called your customer service number a few days before the due date to see if there was something you could do to help me avoid a late fee and the guy I spoke to was very short, not nice at all and refused to try help.

I have been very excited with my experience with your Bank. I would offer and extend a invite to any of my friends to try your bank. The mobile app is a piece of cake to use. The instructions on how to use your app on android is easy to read and easy to use.

I have had nothing but a wonderful great experience since starting to do business with Merrick Bank! The perks of six on time payments helps my credit improve immensely! Everyone in your customer service dept., is very knowledgeable and helpful! Every time I’ve needed assistance it came with knowledge and the utmost professionalism! Your app is wonderful as well! I was immediately alerted for 200 plus charge to my local WALMART. I really appreciated the alert. I had recently been fraudulently attacked through my bank. So I was really anxious. This experience with your bank was very helpful. The charge was ok. And I actually spoke to someone. Most older people prefer to talk to someone without a lot of prompts.

The complete process start to finish was simple. The application was simple and very easy to fill out. I received the card quickly and had very little trouble to activate. The interest rates are a little high but manageable. A great incentive to apply for the card was the fact that after making my payments on time for 6 months my credit limit would be increased by double.

I Have had a good experience with Merrick Bank Card. Anytime I have called customers service they have been very knowledgeable and polite. I love this Card. I would definitely recommend it to friends. It was easy to set up online notifications and to pay the bill online. I liked the upgrade in credit line after 7 months. It came in extremely handy at the last minute. I like the fraud protection and all of the extra features included with the card. Kudos to Merrick Bank.

I am thankful to have this card. I got it as an emergency card. Already had some minor emergencies. Not the best interest rate, but the only bank to actually raise my limit! Was unsure but very satisfied. I have not tried to set up their online account info so that may change my feelings.

After a year I received an increase for on time payments. I've never had an issue and it's nice to have it if I need to use it. Inflation has been through the roof with everything I purchase that I would deem a necessity is twice the price it was a year and a half ago. Thank you!!

Whenever I call Merrick, the representatives are always kind and helpful! And the automated system is very efficient and easy to use! Even paying my bill on the automated system! Thank you. I also like that Merrick can be reached at any time of day or night! Please keep doing what you’re doing!

I plan on cancelling my card before the annual fee is due. I have other cards with no fees. My credit has improved, if I don't hear from you I will understand, the annual rate is also very high. That should be enough! That is all I have to say. I expect nothing.

I always pay ahead of time and after six months got an increase of credit. I Was able to get medications badly needed. This was a Lifesaver. I would recommend this credit card to anyone trying to rebuild their credit. And improve their credit score. This day and age it’s extremely important for big and even small purchases.

To date They have been very fair with me and have treated me with respect and have been accurate with situations that have arisen. I'd recommend them to anybody. Although these days you cannot get a credit rate that's acceptable, Merrick Bank gives you options to keep things on the control.

Never received my card, and so could never set up online access. Called in to straighten it out, and the rep said I don’t have an account with Merrick. Then changes her mind and says I do have an account. But she can’t send me a new card, and can’t tell me how to resolve the problem. Useless.

I need more purchase power. I'm only getting 2 out of 5 oks on buying products online. It seems that you're only letting me buy so many items and turning down some that are more expensive that I'm trying to buy. Other than that, everything is running well. Thanks Merrick Bank.

Great experience. No hidden fees with terrific customer service and support. I am very happy with this account. I had a lengthy health episode that left me behind on bills therefore my credit suffered. Merrick Bank is helping me to be back on track! I’d highly recommend their account services. This is my first time dealing with Merrick Bank and I must say I am impressed! Customer service is outstanding and their website and App are very easy to navigate. The credit card was easy to apply for and payments are well within my budget. Merrick gave me the second chance I needed to rebuild my credit!

I am a relatively new customer. I am very pleased with my Merrick account. I only have one problem - I don't know how to obtain cash with the card. Can you explain this for me? I had an unexpected death in my family so I had to make an unplanned trip, spending money that was also unplanned. I used my card for the expenses of the trip. Bought a $300 gift card. Card was activated but wouldn't work. Store where I bought it from gave me the runaround. Had to file a claim with Merrick. Representative was extremely helpful with taking care of everything and answering all my questions. Claim was processed and settled in less than one day. $300 returned to my account.

As a credit card holder of more than 20 credit cards, yours is the most user friendly website that I've come across. I also appreciate the immediate higher limit authorized. Well done! I'll be a member for life and plan to efficiently use your card. I just wish my interest rate was a little lower than 28%.

Let me preface this review by saying yes, the interest rate IS going to be high on this card. So if that's a negative for you, this is not the card for you. With that being said, the starting credit line was great, after 6 on time payments my credit limit was increased without me even having to ask. (I've had cards I've paid faithfully forever that NEVER offered a credit line increase so this was a pretty great surprise.) So far so good, I definitely like this card.

They stood by their word to review my account at 6 months for a possible increase. It was all done automatically. So to me this means a lot. So I could and would recommend Merrick Bank. There is not much else to add other than I have not been able to access my online account. It seems very sensitive.

I feel Merrick Bank was fair and accurate with the process of my card. I have one complaint, because I paid the account on the first of the month. I had a late fee applied to my account? It was paid early not late for the previous month. So when I pointed this out to a representative she told me I paid it to early? Now I wait until the third of the month. This could effect my credit! There was an adjustment to my account in the way of a credit.

Yes, definitely I would recommend Merrick Bank Credit Card to a family member or a friend. Your customer service is great, and very knowledgeable, always open to help you with any issue. I wish they would increase my credit limit. I was a little short this Christmas, I hope next year don’t have this problem.

Interaction concerning fraud was exceptional! Thorough and courteous! Efficient and greatly helpful. Easy to communicate with. No long wait to talk to someone. The charges are still under investigation, but that is expected. I understand that this investigation may take up to 90 days, but this too is understandable. Others must be given adequate time to respond.

This is the best Credit Card that I have by more than I could imagine and I hope to see a bigger increase in the future and I am trying and making sure that my account is paid on a timely basics... The Merrick Bank app is user friendly, and I find it a pleasant experience to use. I have not experienced any difficulties using the app since the inception of my account. I appreciate greatly that I can schedule payments for a future date. I also greatly appreciate that my payments are posted in a timely manner.

I have tried numerous times to contact you to see about changing my due date. I get paid once a month and that is the 2nd Wednesday of the month. I am retired and on Social Security, I am trying to improve my credit but it seems to have dropped since I started with you due to the dates I'm assuming. Great card to have. I would recommend if you have fair credit and looking for a card with a decent limit. They automatically doubled my limit in 6 months with on time payments every month and customer service has been great the one time I have needed it. The app is user friendly and I really like that I can set up auto pay and make adjustments to it as needed.

I’ve been rebuilding my credit and I am very happy with Merrick. My limit was doubled automatically after six months like it said it would and it’s just been a great experience. The app is easy to use, I can set up payments and track everything very quickly and I have no complaints at all. The interest rate isn’t great, but most aren’t anymore. And I usually pay my balance off every month so I’m not really getting hit with interest anyways.

I was harassed by text, email for an outstanding payment that I had set up via online. Despite answering yes to automated text messages regarding my outstanding payment having been set up, kept getting texts, emails.

My experience using the card, app and website have all been seamless and without issue. I have been pleasantly surprised by the entire process of banking with Merrick. I have only been a cardholder for two months at this point, but I feel comfortable in saying that the Merrick Bank card will remain in my wallet and be used often.

Merrick Bank has always given me the information I request. Plus automatically raised my credit limit for making payments on time. Online transactions are smooth and painless. I highly recommend Merrick and their team! I dealt with a lot of other Banks and they don't compare. I use Merrick in my everyday life for most transactions and they always have been 100%.

Since I became a Merrick card holder, I have seen significant improvement in my credit score. I have always struggled with my finances, though I feel much more at ease with my Merrick account than I have with other accounts. Through consistent payments & doing my best to keep an eye on the balance, I was able to get a higher card limit. Merrick Bank gave me a 2nd chance at credit and I’ve been very pleased. They did what they said by doubling my credit line without me asking. The app is very easy to use. I even added my wife later down the line to help her get started on rebuilding her credit.

It seems to work fine and I’ve had no issues so far other than it being frozen for questions about a couple charges that I verified and it was immediately reactivated. So far so good! The only problem I have is that when I first got my card it was a no fee card and the replacement card I have now is a annual fee card. I would like to have the no fee card back. Other than that I am very satisfied with Merrick Bank.

I am very happy with the service I have received and the ease of using the app. I recently received a text message asking me to contact them about a suspicious purchase. Turned out that there were almost $700 worth of purchases I didn't make all of which they had declined and contacted me without hours.

You charged me the monthly charge starting when I was approved, not when I activated the card, which in this case was 6 weeks after approval. So when I activated the card, I was already 1 month late, and the card was frozen until I made up the delinquent payment. This is usury and unethical!

Every time l try to use NY card to make purchases online at Walmart it is denied for NSF which is inaccurate. I get fraud alerts but not until the next morning. Last night this happened again. The fraud alert is stamped FREE MSG: Merrick Bank Alerts. "We suspect possible fraud. Please call the number on the back of your card to review your account.9:13 AM." This happens all the time. I appreciate the alerts but getting them the next day requires me to use a different card. I am not sure how l can use this one if it is going to be denied?

I'm very pleased with you guys I have not run into any issues on the app and I will definitely recommend this card to my friends and family. I recently got an credit limit increase and this has helped a lot. I might actually get another Merrick Bank card pretty soon.

Merrick has been great! I have had zero complaints and I am proud to tell others about my card. The doubling of the credit line is so helpful. If I go on vacation, I can put hotel stay and a rental car all on the same card. So nice to do that. Plus all the incentives are nice also. I like this credit card and my limit double in 7 months like they said, I've been having Legacy visa for two years and never missed a payment or been late and my credit line is still the same and I wish I never got it, I only wanted two credit cards but I'm happy with Merrick bank.

I applied at a time where I needed work done on my truck and got accepted, with the offer of my credit line doubling after a number of on time payments. It did, and right when I needed to see doctors for health issues. It came in very handy to say the least!

This card has come in handy a couple of times. Its terms are good. Its rates are great, and my credit has gone up 20 point in just two months since I got it. All in all this card has been a great addition to my wallet and my life.

Having a hard time understanding the process of sending a payment and it took 9 days when I sent it to get process. Which I got a $35.28 charge. I called the bank at 888-545-5777 which I got a wonderful person to have the charge removed and answer some questions I had. I am wondering is there a way to make a payment online.

Merrick bank credit card Threatened to close account when auto pay failed to go thru when I had made my payment early and also turned auto pay off... Not sure how or why they still tried to take the payment but it failed. Other than this no other issues that we have noticed so far.

100.00 for a fee on a credit card that is almost never used is ridiculous... I paid it to avoid a ding on my credit report when closing this account... but it is totally wrong!! It should be refunded or at least credited.. Like I said the credit is never used and has had a 0 balance.

Well I've been using Merrick Bank for almost an year now. After seven month of paying on time they went up on my credit which was awesome. I haven't had a complaint as of yet. They are fair when dealing with business and anything wrong will help to the fullest.

So far so good. No real issues to report. Glad to be on a paperless billing system, and the app seems to work pretty smoothly. I’ve only dealt with customer service one time, but it was relatively easy and minimal wait time. Definitely interested in increasing my credit limit. Bazinga.

This is a very easy bank to work with and they do what they promise. They give you reminders of when your bills are due so you never miss a payment. And your payment is credited the very next day so you aren't waiting a week to have your card updated with an available balance.

While their customer Service is phenomenal on the phone and very accommodating and was able to answer every question politely and quick the only thing is my hope is this card evolves to give some sort of cash back or points to be able to redeem something. Nowadays the competition is stiff out there with so many choices of cards.

Being charged for paying the bill. I had an account with you years ago. Had a 2000 dollar credit limit and never paid processing fees for paying the payment. I don't see it as good relations with your customers. I paid for a card I canceled. How long do you think that customers will stay with you.

With this card I had finally enough to get a ring and propose. So thank you. It has been easy to use. It help me with a few groceries and other things I might not have been able to get. I would tell my friends and have. The payments have been easy. I have paid them all on time or early.

Very efficient very courteous, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Easy to make payments and my information is kept secret. Quick to give me a quick rating on credit report. I receive information on how to keep my payments low and when I call it to make payments. I don’t have to speak to anybody. It’s all automated quick fast and easy.

The only thing I would like is to be able to pay with my debit card. However this is not a deal breaker for me. I was very pleased when the offer to increase my credit limit after five payments made on time was done automatically without me having to do anything.

Merrick Bank is not a bank to obtain a credit card from. I have (unfortunately) several credit cards, and this card has had fraudulent charges from almost the beginning of my account. I reported all fraudulent charges. They reimbursed the charges and are now recharging them to my card stating that my statement shows the merchant reimbursed me. I looked through all of my statements, and mine don't show that. My statements should be identical to what they have. It was completely obvious these were fraudulent charges because the merchant charged the same exact price twice in the same day on more than one month. I called the merchant, and they said that I paid for Sports TV, which I most certainly did not. Most subscriptions also charge once a month. Nothing was predictable with these merchants, one month they charged $49.95, then the next month they would charge $49.95 two times in one day.

Well I haven't had this card very long but so far it's worked out for me. I don't really have much experience with it to actually say why I rated it a five. I just rated it a 5. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to a friend but I would tell them I have the card and it was a good option for them but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

So I read the reviews before I applied just like I always do and I got the card right after approval. Great app. No problems so far. I would highly recommend this card based on the initial experience so far. Oh and the phone application is very well thought out and and is a easy user friendly application..

This is the absolute worst bank you could ever deal with. It will take every penny from you. They will destroy your credit. I actually have a lawsuit against him for defamation of character. I highly disagree that anybody even looks at this bank. You pay your payment and then next thing you know they charge you 3/4 of what you paid for interest and late fees even if it’s not late. Do not waste your time. This bank is horrible.

I have no problems. I have had my card for some time now. Without any problems. I charge my card and pay my bill and everything works as normal. If anything changes I will update my review. Give it a try. I'm sure you will not be dissatisfied. I do not work for this company or have no type of affiliation. I saw it. I tried it and I am pleased with it.

Well they've done exactly what they said they were going to do? They doubled my credit limit when I made my payments on time. The response time to any questions I have as reasonable. I called to check on a balance transfer and I was extremely upset that the representative was unable to see any pending activity, even though I could see the balance in both accounts. So for me it looked like I owed the same balance to Merrick and to Concora Credit.

Great company. They keep their Words not like capital one. Merrick Bank promised a credit card increase after 6 months of timely payments.. They kept their Promised. This is the best credit card in my wallet. If you are looking for a good credit card company, please give Merrick Bank a chance. I promise, you will love them also.

It’s not just Merrick, just a consequence of AI and automation which removes the human element. I got really upset with Merrick. You reported something a few months ago that made my credit score take a 15 point dive. I remember if I was a day late or if my utilization was over 30% of my available credit. Either/or it has caused me to rethink how often I use your card.

Application was easy and qualification & approval only took a minute. Received my card in less than a week. PIN setup and ATM access was quick and easy. With the VISA logo, it’s accepted nearly everywhere. This was offered to me through the Credit Karma app with their “$50 if not approved” guarantee.

I haven't had a single issue with making payments or getting access to my account. I've made all my payments on time for 6+ months and received a credit line boost on time. When applying for this card, that process was smooth and effortless as well. My card was received quickly in the mail. Overall super satisfied with my experience so far.

You guys are by far the most supportive bank that I have out of three. You guys stood by your word about doubling my account number and to be honest not many bank do the amount you guys do! Was originally very happy to have a Merrick Bank credit card, until I was trying to log into my account to make a payment and was shown my account was restricted and locked. After multiple phone calls and getting transferred to multiple people I discover they need to verify my identity, so I follow the link they give me to verify my ID and I'm given a fax number to fax a copy of my social security card to them. I explained it would take me a little while to do this as I travel for work a lot and I would have to find somewhere to pay to have this done (as nobody uses fax anymore). I was never given any time frame or date to have this completed by. I talked to 3 different people in 3 different departments that day and not a single one told me I had a deadline nor did I get a letter, email, or call regarding this deadline. 10 days pass and I get a letter that they have permanently closed my account.

Very good experience!! This credit card comes in handy for me, l would refer my friends to apply for this card!! Hopefully in the near Future my credit limit increases to a larger amount!! My credit score has went up 6 points since l have applied, Thanks for giving me an opportunity!!!!

Non stop denial of use. And within a month it was cut off. Very dissatisfied with the way my account has been handled. I will not be using this bank again. I have paid in full and will now deactivate my account due to poor management by your bank and customer service.

I’m very happy with Merrick. They are an answer to my prayers. I wouldn’t change anything. They are fantastic. Merrick cares about its people and they are willing to help you. If you make your payment on time in a timely manner they will increase your credit limit. They help you build your credit by making your payment on time.

Had Merrick for a few years and they've been great. Recently paid my account in full ($1806.99) which was LITERALLY all the money I had and they're holding my money saying because it's "such a large payment that it's going to take a week to post" even though the moneys already come out of my checking account and posted to Merrick's. This does not make me feel confident in the stability of this institution.

I have a great experience with Merrick. All the reps are so polite and understanding. They are always there to help you no matter what the situation may be. I will recommend Merrick to all my friends and family. I closed my business down but I still pay my bill on time.

Love this card. I try to pay more than my minimum due every month & it seems to be paying off. I’m hoping for a credit increase in another month or two. Easy to pay through their app & to check my payment has posted. It is also easy to see how much credit I have available.

I am very disappointed in the site. I have been trying for weeks to get on and cannot get on to pay my bill. I fear I will be late because of it and I better not get a fee since it is not my fault. You really need to get this straightened out.

At this time have had Merrick long {only a few months} so am not going to rate higher are lower. But so far every thing has been good. Have had no problems with customer service over phone and they have been friendly and helpful. Company even put hold on card once to make sure it legit transaction.

I have had my payment set on auto pay for years. They have randomly started returning my payments after sending a confirmation email of posted payment. They do not notify when the payment is returned. I’m not aware until the next month when I’m charge over double my payment for late fees and other charges. When I reached out to them there was no explanation that they could give. When I asked to speak to the manager, they stated that the manager does not speak to customers! They are TRASH!!

Merrick Bank is an excellent company with excellent customer service. I had questions on how to pay my bill and how to access my account and they were there to help. I love being able to pay my bill online. It is quick and easy. Merrick Bank has many features that are accessible through online services. I would recommend this bank to friends.

I made a payment using a debit card and it did not get recorded and I was charged a $35.00 late fee because of it. I contacted two different employees of your company who were incompetent and RUDE and did not in any way want to help me resolve the problem!

Every month I try to make a payment on the phone and the recording won't let me and that's every month I try to pay I have to call in and talk to somebody about that and make my payment. I'm not paying $5 extra for they can get my payment. I'm trying to pay over the phone. It won't let me.

I have only been a customer a short time but I find the card easy to use. Payments are also easy to make. The ability to increase your credit line is also easy to understand. Customer service is also a plus. All in all I think it’s a great card!

I had nothing but problems with my secured credit card. I traveled to Canada and my card wouldn’t work - even after I notified Merrick that I was traveling. Then my card got suspended with no notification to me, I was told I could only speak to 1 dept and on Friday they were only available from 0900-1200 (EST). I was in California so I had to set my alarm to wake up early (0600-0900). They told me they were closing my account and couldn’t tell me how I’d get my deposit back. Terrible experience.

I got a card from them last month. I have not even received the bill payment yet. I struggled to access online account. By the time I got access to my account to make a payment they reported the balance to my credit. I like to keep my credit utilization low so I like to pay balances pretty fast. I was shocked they could report a balance before they would bill me. Even today it says my payment is due Sunday. Just paid off the balance and will just keep the card and not use it because you never know they’d report right after the use to drop your credit. Very risky.

I am comfortable with Merrick and mainly satisfied. There was a time when I could count on Merrick's consistency. I choose to utilize Merrick's low and expected minimal payment due each month to help stay budgeted with medical expenses, mostly. During these most recent years coinciding with global economic challenges, that all changed. It's much more difficult to budget my payments and has these past few years and still to this day, Merrick maintains the highest APR of all my cards. I am much more cautious and apprehensive when deciding on whether or not to use Merrick.

I've been a customer for over 5 years and I enjoy using my Visa card through Merrick. Between my Capital One card and Merrick I always use the Merrick card. I typically use the card for gas and groceries. I downloaded the app so it's convenient to review my balance and purchases. I like having a fingerprint login when paying my invoice.

Disappointed. I’m still having to pay an annual fee after having a perfect history for so long. Also, interest rate is very high. Planning on stopping activity on my card and closing my account. Lame lame lame.

Yes easy to understand and card is easy to use. No problems at stores and on line orders are accepted without any problems. Can read my statements and have full description of my spending. Love this card. I wish they were around ten years ago when I was younger. This would have helped me build my credit up and payments are so reasonable.

It took years of on time payments, but Merrick finally gave me a little more credit. I think they should have been a little more liberal considering that my only missed payment was when I was hospitalized. I still look forward to being a long time customer. Very pleased with my experiences over the years with Merrick. Mostly I communicate and process everything online. Their website is secure and easy to use. I can easily find what I look for. I receive friendly reminders when my account is due. This is very helpful since I am paperless. I get other notifications as well since I have opt in for such.

I have been a loyal customer for year and paid on time for over 5 years. Now I have pleaded to get my late payments removed off my credit report but I can’t get any response is customer empathy from. I’ve mailed letters and called to no avail. Would like to know how I can get them removed for being a loyal customer.

Nothing excited, received card and was happy, planning on getting my credit back on track. Right now in the middle six hundreds. Want to work my way back to 700 hundred. In using my card it will be for emergencies now. I look at it as a safety net, for something I didn’t see coming. Makes you feel good.

The interest rate is quite high compared to my other credit cards. I will be using this card for emergencies only with minimal balance. The app is of great help keeping my account in excellent shape. I do appreciate that my account is regularly reviewed and credit increases occur two to three times a year.

Been over two month since account has been closed. Said check being mailed out. It will take 30 days then I call to check after 30 days and now they telling me different mail out date and another 30 days to receive a small $200 check. Stayed on hold with customer service over a hour just to be hung up on. This is the worst service I have ever received. Supervisor can’t even recall my past calls that were supposedly recorded as well to recall the facts. I’m at lost for words at this point and I will be filing a complaint with the higher ups and will be leaving other reviews about this establishment you call a bank! Ridiculous.

I placed an order online on June 7 24 for a WEN Brad nailer, Brad nails and wood glue. The glue and nails were delivered the next morning. I called customer service to see why the nail gun did not show up. She told me it was coming from the factory and she called them to see when it would be delivered. The nail gun came 6 days later from the factory. Thank you.

I've asked to have my due date changed. Didn't happen so had late fees. So I mailed the 71.00 that was posted to my account. But I also mailed a 35.00 payment and has not posted. Mailed them same day. Where is the 35.00?? Not happy at all!!!! I should never of had late fees if the due date would of been changed like I asked. I also would like to know where the other 35.00 payment disappeared to????

I have never been late on my payments. I think you should drop my interest rate. That would be very nice. I am on a fixed income and need to use this card when I run short at the end of the month. With the interest rate so high it's hard to see any difference making well over the minimum.

Merrick Bank is a good credit company. My only complaint would be the very high interest rate. If it was lowered then I would give it a 5 star. I do appreciate the line of credit increases every six months as long as you don't have any missed payments. Other companies should follow suit on that.

Super nice gentleman helped me when I misplaced my card. Went over all my transactions to make sure everything was correct. He took his time and checked everything. We also put a hold on the account and he ordered me a new card to get mailed out. I highly recommend Merrick Bank to anyone and everyone. A great customer service support when needed.

I have had no problems whatsoever with my Merrick credit card. The app makes it super easy to pay, check transactions, review statements, etc. Merrick rewards my on time payments with occasional credit limit raises. I would recommend this card to anyone who pays their bills on time. I cannot say how they handle late payments, I have never been late, but for good customers I give it an A+.

My very first interaction with Merrick Bank was to correct my due date for payment.. Horrible, absolutely horrible. I was lied to and my account was not corrected leaving me with ridiculous amounts due. As soon as I pay down the balance that is ridiculous I will be canceling my business with you.

Absolutely love this card. It allows me a second chance at building my credit. Based on favorable payment history over a period of time, they even increase your limit which helps out tremendously. I utilize this card primarily for travel (car rental). It allows me to keep these charges separate from my debit card and keeps me on top of making sure I pay on time.

Using your card less and less until I am able to pay it off and stop paying your awful interest rates. Have other credit cards with much lower interest fees. Having to pay your heightened interest rates makes it difficult for me to pay anything else with your credit card. Just being honest. This credit card came with a 3 dollar a month fee. I had a zero balance on my card but they still filed a negative credit report lowering my credit 60 points, I would not recommend this bank or card to anyone ever.

Merrick Bank continues and facilitates fraud. Do NOT use this bank. They allow people to electronically open credit cards in other people's name and stick the person whose name was signed electronically. I gave them the person's name who fraudulently opened a credit card using this MO and they did absolutely nothing and stated their investigation showed that I legitimately opened an account I had no idea about. This is a bank that thrives off of thieves and hurts the good people. When asked to see the investigation and who completed the investigation they refused to talk with me and wouldn't give me a copy of the investigation.

My answers were answered and I was informed with accurate information. The customer service representative was very informative and helpful. My account questions were both answered in a timely manner as well and explained to me in easy to understand terms. I am very satisfied with my phone experience and Merrick Bank’s customer service support team.

We love to have my interest rate lowered. It is way too high and makes paying my bill more difficult monthly. The low rates were why I signed up in the beginning so I feel it is unnecessary, if this is possible then let me know and we can be on a better track of a better rating so let me know.

I enjoy the Merrick Bank card, except for the initial fees associated the card. The 72$ fee takes away from the credit line. They should also offer some type of incentive for taking the survey. That would at least compensate for the fees that are charged to the card taking away from the credit amount of the card. I enjoy the card. It's just the fees associated with the card decreases your usage of the card.

I keep having to setup recurring payment, it never works and I have to manually make the payment once it's past due. This happens all the time. I get email of when next payment is due, but it doesn't take it out. This is aggravating.

I would surely tell everyone about this bank. It is easy on me that I don't have to worry about fraud. They keep me posted about anything that happens to my account and make the understanding of it really easy for me to understand. The more I use this card the earnings help me keep up on my credit score and history.

Still very disappointed in a charge I made for fraudulent tickets not being investigated further by your company. Was simply told the charge was valid, even though I was swindled. The tickets were purchased and I thought I was ok until I realized they had no bar code when they were transferred to me. Unfortunately, I was not reimbursement for my loss.

The process was swift, harmless, done all electronically and I received approval the same day. I received my card in the mail within 2 weeks.
