I am very pleased with this card. My limit was raised without me even having to ask. I would assume because I make my payments on time. It’s a great card. I would recommend it. I think it is a great option for people trying to rebuild their credit and it has definitely helped with mine. I am very happy with everything about the card.

The service was good until you guys closed my account. I had switched my bank account information and I thought that they were taking the payments from my account, but however, they kept join from my old account and my account was closed due to missed payments. I would love to stay with Merrick Bank.

For the opportunity to rebuild my credit my family has been highly blessed by the acquiring of this credit card. I have already told several people about this card including various co workers and friends that they have to acquire this card. The services and benefits that come with it are first rate.

I am very pleased to a Merrick Card holder. I have never had any trouble using my card and they even raised my limit within the first six months of paying on time, without me even asking them to. I have a couple of other credit cards and have paid my payment on time with them and they have not raised my limit.

I'm very happy with Merrick Bank and will refer friends to this financial institution. Wish that I hard heard of them sooner and I'm very satisfied with having an account with them. The billing cycle is fair and I like the fact that they give you a reminder a week or so in advance. This helps me out with keeping track of my bill payments.

I have been very happy with Merrick. Have not had any issues and everything from billing to payments has been smooth. I have already recommended this card to other people who have received their own card. They seem to be pleased with it as well.

I appreciate the card for being true to its promotions and the faith you show by doing so. My family and I have not had to struggle nearly as much because of this card. My biggest complaint is the huge minimum payments. I understand the logic behind them, they are just huge. I have never had a minimum payment that was more than my cellphone bill.

I have found no issues, what was offered I received. Customer service is very helpful, quick responses to my questions. I see a long relationship with Merrick. I have the card for 8 months and merrick has done what was offered.

On June 14th of this year, our son passed away not having any insurance. We were at a loss being $1,000 short of what was needed to finalize the funeral expenses. Then I remembered my Merrick card. Not knowing if it would go through we tried and it went through saving us from more heartache than we already had. The card and Merrick are great.

At first I thought I won’t get approve knowing I have bad credit. But I was surprise getting approve.

I don't like annual fees & frankly since I have paid an account off with your bank a few years ago. I most like won't use this card much if at all for that one reason. I am using this account & have paid more than required because the fees are always in the back of my mind. I'd like to know when the fees stop being used against you? Do the fees ever stop or do I have to pay it off & close the account to do better?

So far I've had no problems whatsoever. It was easy to get my card set up and usable. No problems using it in person or online. I get the alerts I've asked for in a very timely manner. So far no regrets with this company. My card is holding up good. No problems using it so I'm very pleased.

Merrick Bank Credit card is one of the best Credit cards that I have in my possession. Never had a problem with using it online or in the store. Would give this Card 10 out of 10. I'm glad that I got this Credit Card. It's a pleasure doing business with Merrick Bank.

I have been very pleased with my Merrick credit card, I will be recommending Merrick bank to all my friends and relatives. The enrollment process was very streamlined and easy to complete and process and acceptance was a very quick response. The card arrived quickly and as promised, I will always continue to use Merrick bank for all my financial services.

I received a message stating someone was trying to use my card at 4 am one day. I informed them that it was not me. I appreciate the security. I spoke with people on the phone & they stated everything was OK. About a week later I tried to use the card & it was locked down, I called, they said it wasn't. Funny? I can't use it. I probably will never use it again, I can't rely on it or trust it.

Merrick Bank has been a great back up for someone who is retired and occasional runs a little close to edge. I can still afford the monthly payment and if there is something I really need, Merrick is there to help me thru the rough times and I am certainly most appreciative that they gave me an account.

I’ve tried paying with my checking account, but you guys come back and say that it’s attached to a fraud account which it is not so then I have to use a debit card and you charge me a fee for that so for those reasons, I will pay the card off and close it.

Terrible service. Can't use debit cards to pay off balance. It takes way too long for your credit to show up. You can pay off a balance and yup guess what? Can't use the card for three days. Needs too much Improvement to be able to satisfy a consumer who uses their card daily.

1st person I spoke with said there would be no charge. Person who took out not info said there was a charge of $4.99 which I paid so the Payment wouldn't be late! I didn't want to get a late charge on top of all else. Please make your guidelines more consistent.

I have been waiting for a refund from a secured credit card I put $200 on and have not received MY OWN MONEY back from them after 4 months now. I've been given the runaround time and time again when calling them with no luck getting my money back.

I am trying to cancel my card, I was told it was done but still is active. No one is helpful and was also hung up on. Highly disappointed in the customer service or lack there pumps. This card was not what I expected and I needed to cancel it and still cannot be helped. Can someone please reach out to me.

I am overall pleased with my experience with Merrick Bank. My credit was doubled after paying off my balance. It is accepted everywhere I shop. The app is very user friendly. The only issue I've had is when trying to use it to purchase an item online, it wasn't processed. I'm not sure why. I haven't tried it again since but if I have trouble again I'll reach out.

I really like Merrick, This credit card has wonderful perks. At first I didn’t trust they are wonderful offers because many credit cards promise but they never deliver. Since I've been a member I've have no problems or issues to report, great service, very fair with my credit card account, in 6-7 months my credit double, no issues to report. If of when I call everyone is very knowledgeable and professional. It's been the best experience with credit cards I've had. The team takes good care of me.

Everything is as it should be with zero problems. Some other CC I have had trouble logging in. The Menu is straight forward and makes using the CC simple. In 2025 not everything is as it seems. I have had no stress when I am logged in and changing or checking my account.

I was expecting to have at least a $5000 credit limit by now. I understand there is a process and I am willing to work with it. Thank you for all the assistance you’ve given me. So I’ve been late with my payment because someone inadvertently got in my bank account. I had to shut down my Visa both my debit card checking accounts and was not able to make a payment due to not be able to get any money out of the bank. I asked for my fee’s back and no one seems to want to help me, but that’s OK. When I pay this credit card off I will not bank with y’all.

You have no security on my account. You will discuss my financial affairs with anyone! The person who called had no problem telling my account details. They were talking to the wrong person. Then I had to wait on the phone nearly 20 minutes to speak to a supervisor. You charge enough interest, you should have better trained employees. I had already submitted a future payment online but still got called!

I received approval quickly and received my card in less than a week. Love that they remind me when my bill is coming. So far there have been no issues to report. I also like that if payments are on time they will increase limit! I’m so glad they sent me this opportunity.

Very satisfied with my credit card. It's been a great tool to get back on track. The promotion of increasing my credit line after a certain time was the deal closer for me. This is the only product have with the bank and the app is simple enough to navigate.

I am not good with technology. Knowing that the app was available to save me time and stress, I have tried to join the technology crowd. Of course, as an old dog trying to learn new tricks I ended up having questions even though computer access to my account is really quite easy.. However, I ended up having questions that were probably entry-level stupid to most people. The help section staff did not treat me as if I was a stupid old dog learning new tricks. Everyone I have dealt with online at Merrick has been extremely patient, courteous, and respectful whenever I needed help.

What I like about Merrick is that you gave me the opportunity to increase my balance with no strings attached. Pay your bills on time for the next 6 months and you'll receive an increase. They have been there for me when I needed my card in emergencies. For those that complain about the interest rate, use it only when you have to. I knew I wasn't getting prime interest. Be responsible and use it only when you need it and you won't be surprised about the monthly payment or the balance because both can get away with you.

Merrick bank was there for me during hard times when every other institution would not extend credit to me. The interest rate is relatively low in comparison to other companies. I would definitely recommend Merrick Bank as a back up credit card when needed. As an incentive for on time payments, your credit amount increases.

I had a Merrick secured card after my bankruptcy a few years ago and I used it to build my credit so I could get regular credit cards. I recently sold my house and live in an apartment. I was being denied credit cards because I have low income that I supplement with the interest from the cd I have from my house sale. Merrick accepted my application again. I have some cards from before but the merrick is my "Just in case" card.

I have never received my credit card.. I sent email, asking why the credit card was never received.. I have received no answer at all. Very bad service. No confidence at all... Please stop sending me messages, I will block 🚫 this email.. Sick of tired of it. I wonder why I still received this email from Merrick Bank.. It's very suspicious.

One big plus for me is their website is very user friendly. This is really important to me because I'm not computer literate. I was surprised by how quick and easy it was to setup my account. It's easy to navigate and the answers to my questions are easy to find.

Your company was straightforward pay my payment on time for 6 months get rewarded…. Truth double my limit was achieved!!! I just need help upgrading my credit score. Have excellent payment record but it seems more I lower my debt lower score drops???? I just can’t understand. I’m trying to improve score… I need to know what move I need to make next? Open Account Pay off an account? It sucks. It’s like I’m being forced to take on credit Accounts I don’t need. Please inform me on the steps I need to follow to actually improve my status.

Very happy with Merrick bank. They increased credit limit just when they said they would. It came in handy when I ended up with unexpected bills. They don't bother me with unsolicited phone calls which has always been a pet peeve of mine. Interest is a little high but it is not enough for me to cancel my account with them. Hopefully it will go down after I've had the Merrick Bank credit card for awhile.

While I liked the initial idea of doubling my credit the APR is way to high and the limit is way too low. I should not be paying that high of interest on a new card. It's predatory. Lower my interest rate and lower the annual fee by 2/3rds!

The payment service is horrible!!! I would make my payment on a Friday at 7 am and the funds were not taken from my bank until Monday and they would mark my account late. When I paid my card off I noticed my available credit did not go back, I called and was informed my account was closed due to excessive return payments and late payments. I never received any communication to the fact and was told that was all that could be done. Worse experience I ever had with a credit card company.

My credit limit was increased without my request or consent. While I’ve always made payments on time, it’s important to be cautious. If you ever miss just one payment or your balance slightly exceeds the limit, they report it immediately to the credit bureau. There is no leniency or consideration for loyal customers. I’m looking forward to paying off the balance and closing this account.

I am very happy with the services received from your card. Access is very good and timely. When an issued was presented, they got right on my concerns and worked to resolve the issue. I have access 24/7 and can update any changes to my account. Alerts were added to notify me if any changes happened during my time card was not in use. Thank you for your service.

I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on the app's current design. Unfortunately, I feel that it appears quite outdated. The font choices give off a vintage vibe that doesn't align with modern aesthetics, making it seem less appealing. Additionally, the overall organization of the interface feels cumbersome and lacks the sleekness that users have come to expect from contemporary applications.

I find the online app easy to use and see my payments posted quickly. He only thing missing is a rewards program. I also appreciated the increase in available credit. I know it was part of the online offer, but it was nice to see it happen without my having to request it.

I never asked for this card. Spoke with fraud department and it was not successful. I only have a balance for annual fee and will soon go to collections. I will definitely get an attorney for this! I will never tell anyone about this service. I'm wasting so much time when I didn't even for this credit card.

They have serviced me well, I am pleased. I started out with 1100 limit, after 6 months they doubled my limit. At some time after that, they extended my available credit, they said it was because of my excellent payment history. I would definitely recommend them to a friend or relative.

As a surprise, a friend of mine made a gift deposit and Merrick took it as a scammer & boom.. account closed. If they were that concerned, other measures could’ve been taken. My payments were never late and I was a good customer. I thought that financial institutions wanted to keep customers and not treat them like I was treated. I would love to have the account open again but I will not pay any late fees as I don’t believe they were my fault.

I’m very happy with my card. I can make purchases online and at the store. They have very pleasant phone etiquette and make sure your issue gets solved. If you get your payments in on time they give you a higher credit and sometimes that helps a lot. Especially in between pay days. I’m really glad I got this card. No annual charge.

Sometimes it is a bit difficult to get fast customer service assistance. There shouldn't be extra charge for foreign transaction. Another thing is payment should be activated right away instead of waiting for few days before we can resume using the credit card. I am very pleased with Merrick Bank Credit Card. It's easy to make payments and I have online access anytime I need to check balance and etc. I highly recommend this card. I got card for emergencies with no intention of using everyday, however I like it and I use it as my primary card and I am happy with the payment options at the end of the billing cycle.

You gave no notice of canceled card whatsoever and then it was canceled without even a late payment and yet it still shows active when I login and there is no customer service number to reach. It would have been helpful to have a number to call or a message in my message center stating what happened and why.

Merrick Bank gave me a chance to start building my credit and proving myself. I’ve made all on time payments and my credit score has went up. Also if you have so many on time payments, I believe it is six in a row they will give you an increase in the amount of credit on your card.

My experience, so far, with Merrick Bank has been really great. Merrick offered credit to me when other banks were saying no. And, I was given a credit limit increase after making on time payments for the first three months or so. I am very happy with Merrick Bank and look forward to many more great experiences. I would definitely recommend a friend. Merrick is a good credit card. I wasn’t denied when I applied for the card, so I knew my credit score had to be pretty high I would recommend anyone applying for a credit card to try Merrick Bank first because they might have a better chance of getting approved.

I'm very thankful that you gave me your chance with a credit card being my past you know I've not been the greatest. As you get older you realize what your credit means to you and you guys are fantastic about things. I love the fact that I have the credit card. It helps out in many ways and it's nice that I could pay it off before the due date and I don't have to wait for a bill to come in the mail and say you only can pay this amount. And I'm very satisfied with everything. Eventually my credit will go up and now I'll get a bigger balance whatever however that works and I'll keep making my payments and I'm very thankful that you took a chance on me.

When I signed up for this I flat out told you I get disability. My check doesn't come in until the 3rd of the month. My payment is due on the 1st. Then you charge me because the payment is late. How can I pay the bill if I don't get paid until 2 days later? You shouldn't charge fees when it's not my fault when I get paid.

I absolutely love how honest and on point Merrick bank is. If they say there going to higher your amount in 6 months if no late payments they do on exact date. My other cards I had to ask. Also I never have to wait to speak to representative. They answer in seconds. I highly recommend Merrick bank. This company keeps a close eye on their customers' accounts and they keep their word. Make payments on time and they do what they say about taking care of their customers.

Someone put a credit card in my name and you guys took 200.00 out of my bank account for a fee and I called you guys 4 or 5 times and everybody I talk to keeps saying we will send it to you, I canceled the card, but I still get statements from you guys, never did get my money. Very disappointed with you guys.

They are very nice and take care of all my problems. The customer care group are very friendly. I can't say enough about how friendly they are. Or how helpful they are. Oh and they speak english. I am blessed enough to make large payments but feel like it is punitive to have to wait 5 business days for the credit to be available. I wanted to use this card to pay bills but am going to cancel as soon as it is paid off because of having to wait for credit availability. I have a Visa card that does not so this I am currently using that card and will be closing account asap.

Very easy to get and pay monthly charge, flexible minimum payments and a great starter card, should definitely suggest to a friend who is in need of fast help and I like the fact it's building my credit from scratch, it's very flexible on your income and doesn't take an already good credit score to qualify.

The online payment site is very user friendly and full of important information which is easy to understand. I appreciate the credit increase and not came just at the right time. Many times I have tried to use this card and it was declined each time. I have and had plenty of available credit. I will not be using this card again. I plan on paying off the balance and then not using it again. It didn't matter if I tried to use it online or in a store. Very embarrassing to say the least.

Easy application with a nice starting credit amount. After only 6 months the increased my credit without having to request it. It is nice to deal with a company that recognizes your good payment history. Sometimes it's hard to put yourself out for a credit card knowing that every credit heck hit you. Merrick was well worth the chance.

Love this bank. They have given me a chance to help improve my credit. I got a double credit increase. I would recommend Merrick Bank to anyone that is going through a financial hardship. Based on my credit history I qualified for a nice credit limit and after making my payments on time each month my credit limit doubled.

The Customer service is A+ and the best I have seen in a long while. I highly recommend that you an account with them. You will not regret it. What I mean by best is that they make you feel like a person and not a number. You feel you matter.

Very nice to be approved first time after completing chapter 13 bankruptcy. Application process was easy and very fast. App was very easy to use and provides great monitoring information. The finance charges are extremely high in my opinion - the only negative. I don’t have anything else to say other than I’m glad to get my credit back on track and can’t wait to increase my FICO score.

So far so good, I’d definitely recommend them. I’m rebuilding my credit since the pandemic caused a financial hardship for me. My APR and minimum payments are low and affordable for my income size. They doubled my line, as advertised, automatically after 6 months of on time payments. The app is easy to use, I can make payments, check my transactions, see what my available credit is, and also look at my current credit score. I also get text notifications when there is a transaction.

The only card that delivered what it promised. I followed the guidelines; so many on time payments and my limit doubled. Worked great and opened doors for me. My score increased and I was able to o gain better cards at lower rates. Delivered 100%. If you’re just starting out this is a good card for you. Once established keep the amount owed low or at a zero balance to keep the line open.

I'm very pleased with Merrick. One of the best credit cards I have. Wish they would give higher credit more often. My card comes in handy when I need it the most and customer service answers all questions. The fees and interest could be lowered and limit raised on my account and I'd like to transfer my other cards to Merrick and only keep one card.

There's a new hard inquiry on my credit report from an indigo and she couldn't take it off. This is my second fraudulent activity on my account from indigo... of which I DON'T HAVE!!! I never signed up for it, and now my credit score has fallen into the red because of it!! n

I'm very happy with my Merrick Bank Account.. I love using the app to manage my account. I love that I get a quick reminder that my payment will be deducted from my bank account! Had to call Customer Service once, and they were very quick to answer and help me resolve my situation!

My experience after having this card for so long always on time. Never an issue until I had a medical situation and had to file disability in 39 yrs of working. Never had to and Merrick Bank showed no empathy on assisting me with regards to making payments etc. They sent me to collections and I made an agreement. Paid and closed. I highly recommend you look into this card heavily prior to applying. Customer service is everything and they don't exemplify that which is sad when you really need them to step up. It was a very poor experience.

It is unethical what all CC companies do to the consumer. You offer to lead and then when we take you up on that offer, you penalize us why talking 1/2 of our payment. I finally froze my account and make $100 a month payments and they take $50 of my $100 payment of that so it will be a few years until it's paid off. I have learned my lesson and will never again borrow money and make banks wealthy. It is a trap designed to keep you a slave. Borrower is always slave to the lender.

I have been a loyal customer and had never been late on my payments. 1 time last month I had an issue with my bank account which caused me to be less than 24 hours late on my payment. I called your customer service number a few days before the due date to see if there was something you could do to help me avoid a late fee and the guy I spoke to was very short, not nice at all and refused to try help.
