Merrick Bank credit card is a wonderful card. I am a delighted customer. It’s one of the best credit card that I currently would recommend. Please apply and you will see. I’ve been with Merrick about one year and all through it’s been great. I am pleased with my credit amount the customer service so I’d like to give praise when it’s due. Thank you Merrick and I will continue being a loyal customer.

The satisfies my needs. Great card they gave me a credit line increase which helped when I was in Florida. Customer service is caring and willing to help with the customers issues or requests. I remember seeing Merrick Bank years ago, My dad had a card from Merrick bank. I feel close to Merrick bank when I lived in NY. Thank you for helping me with my financial needs and to have the card when I need it.

Would definitely recommend to a friend, my experience with Merrick has been great, great customer service, met all my needs. Easy login to review my account, love paperless statement. Loved that my credit limit doubled in six months. Great for anyone starting out and try to build credit, so I would high recommend Merrick for anyone trying to build their credit.

So far, I have been very pleased with my dealings with Merrick Bank. Merrick Bank has lived up to its agreement to me. I have been a customer for about one year and I would like to use Merrick Bank to pay off my other two cards and then keep the Merrick card.

Merrick Bank MC is without a doubt one of my top 2 favorite credit cards. In fact, they honor time/longevity in keeping an excellent payment history with prompt reviews for updates to your credit limit -much better and faster than ANY card I’ve ever had before! Okay so I think that officially makes them “NUMBER ONE!.” Yes, I highly recommend them!

While I liked the initial idea of doubling my credit the APR is way to high and the limit is way too low. I should not be paying that high of interest on a new card. It's predatory. Lower my interest rate and lower the annual fee by 2/3rds!

For a first time customer, I am truly impressed with the service that I have received and look forward to a long relationship with you. I like all electronic communication, but know that when I need a customer service representative they are available and willing to help. At first I had trouble using the card at some establishments and that has not been resolved, but elsewhere the card is great.

Very helpful with unauthorized charges and Very communicated with what was going to happen with the account and card. The notifications were quick and will recommend to others. I'm please with the service.

The payment service is horrible!!! I would make my payment on a Friday at 7 am and the funds were not taken from my bank until Monday and they would mark my account late. When I paid my card off I noticed my available credit did not go back, I called and was informed my account was closed due to excessive return payments and late payments. I never received any communication to the fact and was told that was all that could be done. Worse experience I ever had with a credit card company.

My credit limit was increased without my request or consent. While I’ve always made payments on time, it’s important to be cautious. If you ever miss just one payment or your balance slightly exceeds the limit, they report it immediately to the credit bureau. There is no leniency or consideration for loyal customers. I’m looking forward to paying off the balance and closing this account.

I am very happy with the services received from your card. Access is very good and timely. When an issued was presented, they got right on my concerns and worked to resolve the issue. I have access 24/7 and can update any changes to my account. Alerts were added to notify me if any changes happened during my time card was not in use. Thank you for your service.

I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on the app's current design. Unfortunately, I feel that it appears quite outdated. The font choices give off a vintage vibe that doesn't align with modern aesthetics, making it seem less appealing. Additionally, the overall organization of the interface feels cumbersome and lacks the sleekness that users have come to expect from contemporary applications.

I find the online app easy to use and see my payments posted quickly. He only thing missing is a rewards program. I also appreciated the increase in available credit. I know it was part of the online offer, but it was nice to see it happen without my having to request it.

I never asked for this card. Spoke with fraud department and it was not successful. I only have a balance for annual fee and will soon go to collections. I will definitely get an attorney for this! I will never tell anyone about this service. I'm wasting so much time when I didn't even for this credit card.

When I got my card it was fast then within the 6 months I got my increase with no problem and that's what I enjoyed about it which was very good. With no hesitation it was increased so I'm very satisfied with them and would recommend all my friends and family to them.

There were so many things that conspired with my name and former business that were either corrupt or neglected the purpose of why a business does these kinds of things to help people in financial distress. Therefore, you guys get the same respect back so most people will do the right thing and do there part. They have serviced me well, I am pleased. I started out with 1100 limit, after 6 months they doubled my limit. At some time after that, they extended my available credit, they said it was because of my excellent payment history. I would definitely recommend them to a friend or relative.

As a surprise, a friend of mine made a gift deposit and Merrick took it as a scammer & boom.. account closed. If they were that concerned, other measures could’ve been taken. My payments were never late and I was a good customer. I thought that financial institutions wanted to keep customers and not treat them like I was treated. I would love to have the account open again but I will not pay any late fees as I don’t believe they were my fault.

I’m very happy with my card. I can make purchases online and at the store. They have very pleasant phone etiquette and make sure your issue gets solved. If you get your payments in on time they give you a higher credit and sometimes that helps a lot. Especially in between pay days. I’m really glad I got this card. No annual charge.

Sometimes it is a bit difficult to get fast customer service assistance. There shouldn't be extra charge for foreign transaction. Another thing is payment should be activated right away instead of waiting for few days before we can resume using the credit card. I am very pleased with Merrick Bank Credit Card. It's easy to make payments and I have online access anytime I need to check balance and etc. I highly recommend this card. I got card for emergencies with no intention of using everyday, however I like it and I use it as my primary card and I am happy with the payment options at the end of the billing cycle.

You gave no notice of canceled card whatsoever and then it was canceled without even a late payment and yet it still shows active when I login and there is no customer service number to reach. It would have been helpful to have a number to call or a message in my message center stating what happened and why.

Merrick Bank gave me a chance to start building my credit and proving myself. I’ve made all on time payments and my credit score has went up. Also if you have so many on time payments, I believe it is six in a row they will give you an increase in the amount of credit on your card.

When I signed up for this I flat out told you I get disability. My check doesn't come in until the 3rd of the month. My payment is due on the 1st. Then you charge me because the payment is late. How can I pay the bill if I don't get paid until 2 days later? You shouldn't charge fees when it's not my fault when I get paid.

I absolutely love how honest and on point Merrick bank is. If they say there going to higher your amount in 6 months if no late payments they do on exact date. My other cards I had to ask. Also I never have to wait to speak to representative. They answer in seconds. I highly recommend Merrick bank. This company keeps a close eye on their customers' accounts and they keep their word. Someone put a credit card in my name and you guys took 200.00 out of my bank account for a fee and I called you guys 4 or 5 times and everybody I talk to keeps saying we will send it to you, I canceled the card, but I still get statements from you guys, never did get my money. Very disappointed with you guys.

I am blessed enough to make large payments but feel like it is punitive to have to wait 5 business days for the credit to be available. I wanted to use this card to pay bills but am going to cancel as soon as it is paid off because of having to wait for credit availability. I have a Visa card that does not so this I am currently using that card and will be closing account asap.

Very easy to get and pay monthly charge, flexible minimum payments and a great starter card, should definitely suggest to a friend who is in need of fast help and I like the fact it's building my credit from scratch, it's very flexible on your income and doesn't take an already good credit score to qualify.

Many times I have tried to use this card and it was declined each time. I have and had plenty of available credit. I will not be using this card again. Easy application with a nice starting credit amount. After only 6 months the increased my credit without having to request it. Based on my credit history I qualified for a nice credit limit and after making my payments on time each month my credit limit doubled.

Very nice to be approved first time after completing chapter 13 bankruptcy. Application process was easy and very fast. App was very easy to use and provides great monitoring information. The finance charges are extremely high in my opinion - the only negative. I don’t have anything else to say other than I’m glad to get my credit back on track and can’t wait to increase my FICO score.

So far so good, I’d definitely recommend them. I’m rebuilding my credit since the pandemic caused a financial hardship for me. My APR and minimum payments are low and affordable for my income size. They doubled my line, as advertised, automatically after 6 months of on time payments. The app is easy to use, I can make payments, check my transactions, see what my available credit is, and also look at my current credit score. I also get text notifications when there is a transaction.

The only card that delivered what it promised. I followed the guidelines; so many on time payments and my limit doubled. Worked great and opened doors for me. My score increased and I was able to o gain better cards at lower rates. Delivered 100%. If you’re just starting out this is a good card for you. Once established keep the amount owed low or at a zero balance to keep the line open.

I'm very pleased with Merrick. One of the best credit cards I have. Wish they would give higher credit more often. My card comes in handy when I need it the most and customer service answers all questions. The fees and interest could be lowered and limit raised on my account and I'd like to transfer my other cards to Merrick and only keep one card.

There's a new hard inquiry on my credit report from an indigo and she couldn't take it off. This is my second fraudulent activity on my account from indigo... of which I DON'T HAVE!!! I never signed up for it, and now my credit score has fallen into the red because of it!! n

I'm very happy with my Merrick Bank Account.. I love using the app to manage my account. I love that I get a quick reminder that my payment will be deducted from my bank account! Had to call Customer Service once, and they were very quick to answer and help me resolve my situation!

My experience after having this card for so long always on time. Never an issue until I had a medical situation and had to file disability in 39 yrs of working. Never had to and Merrick Bank showed no empathy on assisting me with regards to making payments etc. They sent me to collections and I made an agreement. Paid and closed. I highly recommend you look into this card heavily prior to applying. Customer service is everything and they don't exemplify that which is sad when you really need them to step up. It was a very poor experience.

It is unethical what all CC companies do to the consumer. You offer to lead and then when we take you up on that offer, you penalize us why talking 1/2 of our payment. I finally froze my account and make $100 a month payments and they take $50 of my $100 payment of that so it will be a few years until it's paid off. I have learned my lesson and will never again borrow money and make banks wealthy. It is a trap designed to keep you a slave. Borrower is always slave to the lender.

I have been a loyal customer and had never been late on my payments. 1 time last month I had an issue with my bank account which caused me to be less than 24 hours late on my payment. I called your customer service number a few days before the due date to see if there was something you could do to help me avoid a late fee and the guy I spoke to was very short, not nice at all and refused to try help.

I was immediately alerted for 200 plus charge to my local WALMART. I really appreciated the alert. I had recently been fraudulently attacked through my bank. So I was really anxious. This experience with your bank was very helpful. The charge was ok. And I actually spoke to someone. Most older people prefer to talk to someone without a lot of prompts.

The complete process start to finish was simple. The application was simple and very easy to fill out. I received the card quickly and had very little trouble to activate. The interest rates are a little high but manageable. A great incentive to apply for the card was the fact that after making my payments on time for 6 months my credit limit would be increased by double.

I am thankful to have this card. I got it as an emergency card. Already had some minor emergencies. Not the best interest rate, but the only bank to actually raise my limit! Was unsure but very satisfied. I have not tried to set up their online account info so that may change my feelings.

After a year I received an increase for on time payments. I've never had an issue and it's nice to have it if I need to use it. Inflation has been through the roof with everything I purchase that I would deem a necessity is twice the price it was a year and a half ago. Thank you!!

I plan on cancelling my card before the annual fee is due. I have other cards with no fees. My credit has improved, if I don't hear from you I will understand, the annual rate is also very high. That should be enough! That is all I have to say. I expect nothing.

I always pay ahead of time and after six months got an increase of credit. I Was able to get medications badly needed. This was a Lifesaver. I have not had any issues at all. I think the online banking is great. It's easy to understand. I appreciate Merrick Bank and the service it provides. And I hope to have a great banking relationship for a long time to come. Making payments on my credit card is very easy and I love that I can tap it to use it. Thank you so much for everything.

To date They have been very fair with me and have treated me with respect and have been accurate with situations that have arisen. I'd recommend them to anybody. Although these days you cannot get a credit rate that's acceptable, Merrick Bank gives you options to keep things on the control.

Never received my card, and so could never set up online access. Called in to straighten it out, and the rep said I don’t have an account with Merrick. Then changes her mind and says I do have an account. But she can’t send me a new card, and can’t tell me how to resolve the problem. Useless.

I need more purchase power. I'm only getting 2 out of 5 oks on buying products online. It seems that you're only letting me buy so many items and turning down some that are more expensive that I'm trying to buy. Other than that, everything is running well. Thanks Merrick Bank.

Bought a $300 gift card. Card was activated but wouldn't work. Store where I bought it from gave me the runaround. Had to file a claim with Merrick. Representative was extremely helpful with taking care of everything and answering all my questions. Claim was processed and settled in less than one day. $300 returned to my account.

As a credit card holder of more than 20 credit cards, yours is the most user friendly website that I've come across. I also appreciate the immediate higher limit authorized. Well done! I'll be a member for life and plan to efficiently use your card. I just wish my interest rate was a little lower than 28%.

Let me preface this review by saying yes, the interest rate IS going to be high on this card. So if that's a negative for you, this is not the card for you. With that being said, the starting credit line was great, after 6 on time payments my credit limit was increased without me even having to ask. (I've had cards I've paid faithfully forever that NEVER offered a credit line increase so this was a pretty great surprise.) So far so good, I definitely like this card.

They stood by their word to review my account at 6 months for a possible increase. It was all done automatically. So to me this means a lot. So I could and would recommend Merrick Bank. There is not much else to add other than I have not been able to access my online account. It seems very sensitive.

I feel Merrick Bank was fair and accurate with the process of my card. I have one complaint, because I paid the account on the first of the month. I had a late fee applied to my account? It was paid early not late for the previous month. So when I pointed this out to a representative she told me I paid it to early? Now I wait until the third of the month. This could effect my credit! There was an adjustment to my account in the way of a credit.

Yes, definitely I would recommend Merrick Bank Credit Card to a family member or a friend. Your customer service is great, and very knowledgeable, always open to help you with any issue. I wish they would increase my credit limit. I was a little short this Christmas, I hope next year don’t have this problem.

Interaction concerning fraud was exceptional! Thorough and courteous! Efficient and greatly helpful. Easy to communicate with. No long wait to talk to someone. The charges are still under investigation, but that is expected. I understand that this investigation may take up to 90 days, but this too is understandable. Others must be given adequate time to respond.

This is the best Credit Card that I have by more than I could imagine and I hope to see a bigger increase in the future and I am trying and making sure that my account is paid on a timely basics... The Merrick Bank app is user friendly, and I find it a pleasant experience to use. I have not experienced any difficulties using the app since the inception of my account. I appreciate greatly that I can schedule payments for a future date. I also greatly appreciate that my payments are posted in a timely manner.

I have tried numerous times to contact you to see about changing my due date. I get paid once a month and that is the 2nd Wednesday of the month. I am retired and on Social Security, I am trying to improve my credit but it seems to have dropped since I started with you due to the dates I'm assuming. Great card to have. I would recommend if you have fair credit and looking for a card with a decent limit. They automatically doubled my limit in 6 months with on time payments every month and customer service has been great the one time I have needed it. The app is user friendly and I really like that I can set up auto pay and make adjustments to it as needed.

I’ve been rebuilding my credit and I am very happy with Merrick. My limit was doubled automatically after six months like it said it would and it’s just been a great experience. The app is easy to use, I can set up payments and track everything very quickly and I have no complaints at all. The interest rate isn’t great, but most aren’t anymore. And I usually pay my balance off every month so I’m not really getting hit with interest anyways.

I was harassed by text, email for an outstanding payment that I had set up via online. Despite answering yes to automated text messages regarding my outstanding payment having been set up, kept getting texts, emails.

My experience using the card, app and website have all been seamless and without issue. I have been pleasantly surprised by the entire process of banking with Merrick. I have only been a cardholder for two months at this point, but I feel comfortable in saying that the Merrick Bank card will remain in my wallet and be used often.

Merrick Bank has always given me the information I request. Plus automatically raised my credit limit for making payments on time. Online transactions are smooth and painless. Since I became a Merrick card holder, I have seen significant improvement in my credit score. I have always struggled with my finances, though I feel much more at ease with my Merrick account than I have with other accounts. Through consistent payments & doing my best to keep an eye on the balance, I was able to get a higher card limit. Merrick Bank gave me a 2nd chance at credit and I’ve been very pleased. They did what they said by doubling my credit line without me asking. The app is very easy to use. I even added my wife later down the line to help her get started on rebuilding her credit.

It seems to work fine and I’ve had no issues so far other than it being frozen for questions about a couple charges that I verified and it was immediately reactivated. So far so good! The only problem I have is that when I first got my card it was a no fee card and the replacement card I have now is a annual fee card. I would like to have the no fee card back. Other than that I am very satisfied with Merrick Bank.

I am very happy with the service I have received and the ease of using the app. I recently received a text message asking me to contact them about a suspicious purchase. Turned out that there were almost $700 worth of purchases I didn't make all of which they had declined and contacted me without hours.

You charged me the monthly charge starting when I was approved, not when I activated the card, which in this case was 6 weeks after approval. So when I activated the card, I was already 1 month late, and the card was frozen until I made up the delinquent payment. This is usury and unethical!

Every time l try to use NY card to make purchases online at Walmart it is denied for NSF which is inaccurate. I get fraud alerts but not until the next morning. Last night this happened again. The fraud alert is stamped FREE MSG: Merrick Bank Alerts. "We suspect possible fraud. Please call the number on the back of your card to review your account.9:13 AM." This happens all the time. I appreciate the alerts but getting them the next day requires me to use a different card. I am not sure how l can use this one if it is going to be denied?

Merrick has been great! I have had zero complaints and I am proud to tell others about my card. The doubling of the credit line is so helpful. If I go on vacation, I can put hotel stay and a rental car all on the same card. So nice to do that. Plus all the incentives are nice also. I like this credit card and my limit double in 7 months like they said, I've been having Legacy visa for two years and never missed a payment or been late and my credit line is still the same and I wish I never got it, I only wanted two credit cards but I'm happy with Merrick bank.

I applied at a time where I needed work done on my truck and got accepted, with the offer of my credit line doubling after a number of on time payments. It did, and right when I needed to see doctors for health issues. It came in very handy to say the least!
